Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York has the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on seven to ten. Wor well, Hey, we'll
- 0:10Speaker 1: get to Anthony Bauci. He's being exposed in front of
- 0:14Speaker 1: Congress today as totally evil. Every bad thing ever said
- 0:19Speaker 1: about him is getting confirmed today. We'll get to that.
- 0:22Speaker 1: We'll get to a crazy mayor, Mom, Donnie, and what
- 0:25Speaker 1: a Michael Goodwin column it was. But the first time
- 0:29Speaker 1: you've ever seen a mayor who just hates the place
- 0:32Speaker 1: he's the mayor of it, just hates the city. We'll
- 0:35Speaker 1: get to that. Coming up. Bruce blakeman soaring now. You
- 0:40Speaker 1: know he started the twenty six points behind. He's now
- 0:42Speaker 1: four points behind. He is moving in fast on, Kathy Hoko.
- 0:46Speaker 1: We've got a lot of other stuff to get to today.
- 0:49Speaker 1: We'll get to congratulations Jay Clayton, our US attorney here
- 0:53Speaker 1: in the Southern District who just got confirmed as Director
- 0:57Speaker 1: of National Intelligence. Good guy. Bruce Blake, Jay Clayton, both
- 1:01Speaker 1: good guys. But Jay Clayton, a good guy. Was the
- 1:04Speaker 1: US attorney here. He was the head of the Securities
- 1:08Speaker 1: Exchange Commission. He got a long, distinguished career. So head
- 1:13Speaker 1: of a national intelligence means he all eighteen American intelligence
- 1:18Speaker 1: agencies report to him. I know you're saying eighteen eighteen
- 1:22Speaker 1: intelligence agencies without means eighteen. Everybody's got an intelligence agency.
- 1:27Speaker 1: There's the CIA, of course, and there's the NSSA, but
- 1:30Speaker 1: there's the Coastguard has an intelligence agency. Everybody's got to
- 1:35Speaker 1: have an intelligence agency and they all report to him. So, hey,
- 1:39Speaker 1: the big story today is this weasel worm, dirty, lying
- 1:43Speaker 1: doctor Anthony Fauci. A lot of people have been telling
- 1:47Speaker 1: you from the beginning, this was a bad guy, this
- 1:50Speaker 1: was a lying guy, this was a rotten guy. It's
- 1:53Speaker 1: all coming out, literally right now today. It's coming out.
- 1:58Speaker 1: He is he has to testify before the Senate. He's
- 2:02Speaker 1: been subpoenaed. Now Joe Biden pardoned him, so he's got
- 2:06Speaker 1: a full pardon. He cannot be prosecuted, so he can
- 2:10Speaker 1: get on the stand say whatever the hell he wants.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Under oath, he cannot be prosecuted. Yet still he has
- 2:16Speaker 1: taken the Fifth Amendment. He's already taken it about over
- 2:20Speaker 1: fifty times already. There was a Rick Scott questioning him
- 2:25Speaker 1: a simple question, So did you work at the nih
- 2:29Speaker 1: An advice of my counsel under the Fifth amendment. I
- 2:32Speaker 1: refuse to testify every question. There's a guy named David
- 2:36Speaker 1: Morantz who one of the most awful parts of Fauci.
- 2:42Speaker 1: He funded the virus he caused the pandemic. They funded
- 2:47Speaker 1: this Wuhan lab to create this virus for experimental purposes
- 2:51Speaker 1: within the lab, but somehow it leaked out and infected
- 2:56Speaker 1: the entire world. So basically Fauci paid for, financed, caused
- 3:00Speaker 1: the virus that created the pandemic. But he lied about that.
- 3:04Speaker 1: There's a guy named David Morantz who's key to this
- 3:06Speaker 1: and under testimony whenever he was asked while back, you know,
- 3:12Speaker 1: before the part unless a year or two ago, two
- 3:15Speaker 1: years ago when he testified, I don't know David Morantz. No,
- 3:18Speaker 1: I never spoke to David Morantz. I don't know anything
- 3:20Speaker 1: about David Morantz. I never communicated with him. Well, his
- 3:24Speaker 1: diaries have come out, his journal and it's all through there,
- 3:28Speaker 1: endless conversations with David Morantz, endless emails with David Morantz.
- 3:32Speaker 1: When it was starting to come out about the Wuhan lab,
- 3:36Speaker 1: urgent emails that David Mentz called me tonight, we got
- 3:38Speaker 1: to talk, you know. So he was lying about that.
- 3:40Speaker 1: He's being asked about that today and just taking the
- 3:43Speaker 1: Fifth Amendment over and over and over again. And I'll
- 3:46Speaker 1: show you what a weasel this guy is. He he
- 3:51Speaker 1: agreed he had to testify. I mean, it's that case
- 3:53Speaker 1: of agreeing he had no choice. He comes before Congress
- 3:57Speaker 1: to testify today, he brings six turnoorneyes with him, six
- 4:01Speaker 1: attorneys with him. Now, who's paying for these six attorneys?
- 4:06Speaker 1: Six attorneys with him? Al Capone didn't bring six attorneys.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Six attorneys are with him. His lead attorney, Fauci's taking
- 4:15Speaker 1: the fifth and will not answer any questions. But the
- 4:19Speaker 1: lead attorney jumped in and tried to say all kinds
- 4:23Speaker 1: of things, and they told him, you're not a witness.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Stop talking, you can't. You're not testifying here, you're and
- 4:29Speaker 1: he wouldn't stop. He was, for theatrical purposes, huffing and
- 4:32Speaker 1: puffing and yelling and screaming. So they threw him out
- 4:35Speaker 1: of the hearing. They ejected him, told him he how
- 4:38Speaker 1: to leave. He then just theatrically made a whole production
- 4:42Speaker 1: out of packing up his stuff into his briefcase. He
- 4:44Speaker 1: spent like ten minutes packing it up, like Ed Norton
- 4:48Speaker 1: taking forever, and they finally got him out of there.
- 4:51Speaker 1: But Fauci's opening statement and ran Paul was great. Today,
- 4:58Speaker 1: here's Fauci's a bit of Facci's open inclusion.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Therefore, although it pains me to do so, because of
- 5:07Speaker 2: the respect I have for the legislative branch of government
- 5:12Speaker 2: and my decades long record of cooperating with Congress, under
- 5:17Speaker 2: the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right
- 5:22Speaker 2: under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution to refrain from
- 5:26Speaker 2: answering your questions.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Thank you all right? Now, that makes absolutely no sense.
- 5:32Speaker 1: Out of respect that I have for the Senate and
- 5:34Speaker 1: my lifetime of cooperation, I refuse to cooperate. Refuse it?
- 5:39Speaker 1: Or why would that be? Well, he's done it before.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Why would he refuse now? Well, because they got the diaries,
- 5:45Speaker 1: they got the journals that prove he's lying, because he
- 5:47Speaker 1: wrote them himself, and there's nothing he can do. And
- 5:53Speaker 1: what kind of idiot writes all this stuff down. You're
- 5:57Speaker 1: committing a million frauds, you're lying to everybody, You're doing
- 6:00Speaker 1: horrible things. Why would you put it into a journal
- 6:03Speaker 1: and he typed it into a computer, it's on a
- 6:05Speaker 1: hard drive. Why would you do that, well, an egomaniac
- 6:08Speaker 1: would do that. You got such an ego. Not only
- 6:11Speaker 1: you're doing these horrible things, you want to write this
- 6:13Speaker 1: glorifying a journal of how wonderful you are and all
- 6:17Speaker 1: the things you did, So there's nothing you can do.
- 6:18Speaker 1: They got the journal, and they got him. They absolutely
- 6:23Speaker 1: got him on lying about the Wuhan lab, lying about
- 6:25Speaker 1: a million things, lying about masks, lying about ordering the
- 6:30Speaker 1: schools closer. He's testified over and over again before previously
- 6:36Speaker 1: that he had nothing to do with locking down everything.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It wasn't his idea to close the schools. All this stuff.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Turns out it's totally false. You read the journal, it
- 6:44Speaker 1: was all him. In fact, he even calls to Blasio
- 6:48Speaker 1: to get him to close down the schools here in
- 6:50Speaker 1: New York. So ran Paul Great in the hearings.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Instead of an apology.
- 6:55Speaker 4: You have for years avoided responsibility regarding the lockdowns. You
- 6:59Speaker 4: argue you did not personally issue every lockdown order, close
- 7:03Speaker 4: every school, or impose every mandate, but officials across the
- 7:07Speaker 4: country invoked your authority to justify these decisions.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah, if you read the journal, he's calling him and
- 7:13Speaker 1: then telling him to do all this stuff. He's just
- 7:15Speaker 1: a horrible guy. Also, he said the vaccine is totally safe,
- 7:19Speaker 1: nothing could nothing could go wrong from the vaccine. He
- 7:23Speaker 1: took the vaccine, and he admits in the journal he
- 7:25Speaker 1: had some problems. Listen to RFK Junior now, just so
- 7:29Speaker 1: you understand how this came about. He types the journal
- 7:34Speaker 1: on a computer at work in a government office, on
- 7:38Speaker 1: a government computer. He's typing this journal in his own
- 7:41Speaker 1: account and everything, but it's on the government computer. And
- 7:45Speaker 1: then got before he left, he got pardoned, and he
- 7:50Speaker 1: in his office erased everything off the computer. He deleted
- 7:53Speaker 1: and deleted and deleted. But he's not you know, he
- 7:56Speaker 1: always claims he's a scientist, but he doesn't have the
- 7:58Speaker 1: brain of a scientist and didn't realize no matter how
- 8:02Speaker 1: much you deleted off the computer, they can recover it
- 8:05Speaker 1: from the hard drive. So RFK Junior comes in as
- 8:08Speaker 1: Secretary Health and has access to all of this and
- 8:11Speaker 1: has a team start digging through hard drive servers. Going
- 8:15Speaker 1: to the server, they found the diary. They recovered it,
- 8:18Speaker 1: but he found all kinds of things in there. For instance,
- 8:21Speaker 1: Fauci says there's no possible side effects of the vaccine.
- 8:25Speaker 1: He takes the vaccine and gets a side effect. Listen
- 8:28Speaker 1: to RFK Junior.
- 8:29Speaker 5: He got vaccinated a very very public press conference in
- 8:35Speaker 5: January of twenty twenty, and then five months later he
- 8:40Speaker 5: had him This the first time that we knew this
- 8:42Speaker 5: from the diary. He had a pulmonary in function, which
- 8:46Speaker 5: is one of the adverge events at NIA, CDC and
- 8:51Speaker 5: FDAs that are expected from the vaccine. He never told anybody.
- 8:58Speaker 1: If you read these journals, diaries, it's unbelievable. Now forget
- 9:02Speaker 1: the lying, the thieving, the fraud, all that stuff. The
- 9:06Speaker 1: ego of this guy, the star struck ego of this
- 9:08Speaker 1: guy chasing celebrities all over the place. You told you yesterday,
- 9:13Speaker 1: bragged about to himself about having dinner with Jake Tapper.
- 9:17Speaker 1: You ever spend any time with Jake Tapper, It's not
- 9:21Speaker 1: something you'd brag about. Although he does say he was
- 9:23Speaker 1: thrilled to meet Jay Leno. He goes on and on
- 9:25Speaker 1: and on about meeting celebrities and how much it meant
- 9:28Speaker 1: to him. And if you read the diary, the journal,
- 9:32Speaker 1: you remember he was all over television during the pandemic
- 9:36Speaker 1: and you assumed it was that the nation was in fear.
- 9:39Speaker 1: We were frightened, needed somebody to put on the air
- 9:42Speaker 1: the TV shows that didn't know, well, who else could
- 9:45Speaker 1: we put on? So they kept going to doctor Fauti.
- 9:47Speaker 1: Well it wasn't quite that way. He kept orchestrating it
- 9:50Speaker 1: and orchestrating it and orchestrating, trying to get himself on
- 9:53Speaker 1: every TV show again just for ego purposes. And if
- 9:57Speaker 1: you read the journal, there's a couple of times his
- 10:00Speaker 1: big accomplishments, which he thought to him was like the
- 10:04Speaker 1: you know, hitting a grand Slam, was to be on
- 10:08Speaker 1: all five Sunday shows. There's five Sunday shows and three networks.
- 10:13Speaker 1: There's Maria Barbioma on Fox, the CNN Sunday, so there's
- 10:17Speaker 1: five Sunday shows. So a couple times in there he
- 10:20Speaker 1: brags that he did all five Sunday shows. And he
- 10:23Speaker 1: next time he did it all five Sunday shows, he said,
- 10:26Speaker 1: that's my second Fauci five. He called them Fauci fives
- 10:30Speaker 1: doing he was so proud of this, trying to be
- 10:32Speaker 1: all over the place, but a real thieving, rotten, awful maniac. Hey,
- 10:39Speaker 1: can we bring up the sound he's testifying right now,
- 10:41Speaker 1: Let's just dip into this.
- 10:42Speaker 6: Listen to this agencies and ethics watchdogs and demand that
- 10:46Speaker 6: you be able to get the money. That's right, We've
- 10:50Speaker 6: got it in your emails. Your staff and employees on
- 10:54Speaker 6: federal time, using federal resources, being paid with federal dollars,
- 10:58Speaker 6: are soliciting cash four you. And then they're turning around
- 11:01Speaker 6: and saying to the agency, we don't want just an answer.
- 11:04Speaker 6: We want to get to yes. Because Fauci wants the money.
- 11:09Speaker 6: He wants it. We want to get to yes, and
- 11:12Speaker 6: yes takes time. This is your chief of staff again
- 11:15Speaker 6: using federal email to pressure the agency's own ethics people
- 11:21Speaker 6: so that you can get money.
- 11:23Speaker 7: So you can.
- 11:23Speaker 1: We'll go back later. Some of this is just a
- 11:26Speaker 1: politicians making speeches. But there's a million questions and he
- 11:30Speaker 1: just it's now up to fifty five times he's taken
- 11:34Speaker 1: the Fifth Amendment refusing to answer any question. Hey, by
- 11:38Speaker 1: the way, if you watch mainstream media news, if you
- 11:43Speaker 1: watch the networks, if you watch any of that stuff,
- 11:48Speaker 1: there's no coverage of this Fauci diary. None, CBS did
- 11:53Speaker 1: it once, NBC, CBS, ABC. They don't feel it's a story.
- 11:58Speaker 1: There's no cover. They're covering it up. They're covering it up.
- 12:02Speaker 1: There's a definite, you know, moratory mode. They were not
- 12:06Speaker 1: going to cover this, not going to mention. Now, the
- 12:08Speaker 1: New York Times did cover it, but the only reason
- 12:11Speaker 1: they covered it was they went after Rand Paul who
- 12:14Speaker 1: released the diaries. They the only tim they did a
- 12:16Speaker 1: piece was just condemning Rand Paul and making it sound
- 12:20Speaker 1: like he did something awful releasing these personal journals. But
- 12:25Speaker 1: as I said, they were done in the government office
- 12:28Speaker 1: on the government computer. I'm the government server, so and
- 12:33Speaker 1: the government had possession of it, so they have every
- 12:36Speaker 1: right to release it. So this is awful stuff. Horrible,
- 12:41Speaker 1: horrible guy, this Fauci. It's all coming out, and this
- 12:44Speaker 1: is just the beginning. There'll be more coming out, and
- 12:47Speaker 1: that will be the end of this guy's reputation once
- 12:49Speaker 1: and for all. Hey, Bruce Blakeman is running for governor.
- 12:53Speaker 1: You know, he ran in Nassau County originally to be
- 12:56Speaker 1: county executive, and that's a pretty democratic county, and the
- 13:00Speaker 1: makeup of the voters there's pretty much similar to the
- 13:02Speaker 1: makeup of New York State voters. And Blakeman was twenty
- 13:06Speaker 1: three points behind or something, had no chance, and there
- 13:10Speaker 1: was Laura Kern was the county executive, a very nice,
- 13:12Speaker 1: popular county executive. You're not going to be a Democrat
- 13:15Speaker 1: in Nassau County. Well, he kept climbing and climbing and
- 13:18Speaker 1: climbing in the polls, and next thing you know, he
- 13:20Speaker 1: beat her. He won, and then he four years later
- 13:24Speaker 1: he won again. So this is his pattern, and it's
- 13:27Speaker 1: doing the same exact thing here in the governor's race.
- 13:30Speaker 1: He was twenty something points behind, then he was fifteen
- 13:34Speaker 1: points behind, then he was ten, then he was seven.
- 13:38Speaker 1: There's a new poll out now that has him four
- 13:40Speaker 1: points behind. But even if you go to the last poll,
- 13:43Speaker 1: which was six or seven points behind, it would put
- 13:46Speaker 1: him way ahead of where Lee Zeldon was at this point.
- 13:49Speaker 1: So he's got a real shot to win. You got
- 13:51Speaker 1: to help him out. Donate, go to Blakemanfromnewyork dot com.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Contribute to whatever you can. He would be great. If
- 14:00Speaker 1: you hate Mom Donnie, you can't stay with him. This
- 14:02Speaker 1: is the only thing you can do right now. Mom
- 14:04Speaker 1: Donnie's got another three years. The only thing you can
- 14:06Speaker 1: do is get Blakeman in office. The governor can overrule
- 14:11Speaker 1: a lot of things Mom Donnie would do and could
- 14:13Speaker 1: counteract a lot of Mom Donnie's stuff. So there's an
- 14:17Speaker 1: incredible Michael Goodwin Callum today about Mom Donnie about it's
- 14:22Speaker 1: the first time anybody's ever elected a mayor of the
- 14:25Speaker 1: city who hated the city. He hates New York, I
- 14:28Speaker 1: mean the way it exists. He would like to dismantle it,
- 14:31Speaker 1: tear it all apart, and rebuild some kind of socialist,
- 14:35Speaker 1: crazy kind of New York. So it's never happen. It's
- 14:39Speaker 1: like if Detroit suddenly had a mayor who hated cars,
- 14:42Speaker 1: hated the automobile industry. It's basically all they do there
- 14:45Speaker 1: in Detroit. It's the whole economy of Detroit. So you
- 14:49Speaker 1: got this mayor all of a sudden who hates everything
- 14:51Speaker 1: about New York. I mean when you look around New
- 14:53Speaker 1: York at Wall Street, the financial stuff, you know, I
- 14:59Speaker 1: know there's a lot of elite US one percent, but
- 15:01Speaker 1: that's a big, big, big, big part of New York.
- 15:04Speaker 1: It's Look, if you hate government people and you got
- 15:06Speaker 1: elected mayor of Washington, d C. That's like seventy five
- 15:09Speaker 1: percent of the town. So hey, we'll take some calls. Next.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two, one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. Oh, don't forget.
- 15:21Speaker 1: I keep forgetting to mention it. Starting next week, starting Monday,
- 15:26Speaker 1: this show will expand. It's going to be three hours
- 15:30Speaker 1: instead of what we do now, which is two hours.
- 15:31Speaker 1: So starting Monday, the show will be nine am. You
- 15:35Speaker 1: got am nine am to noon. It'll be nine am
- 15:39Speaker 1: to noon starting Monday, you'll get three hours of the
- 15:42Speaker 1: show starting Monday. Here on seven ten WR you're.
- 15:47Speaker 8: Listening to the Mark Simone Show on seven ten wry.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Well, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 15:56Speaker 1: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 15:58Speaker 1: Gina in Staten Island. Gina, how you doing.
- 16:02Speaker 9: Oh, I'm good, how are you? Mark?
- 16:04Speaker 10: I love your show.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Thanks. If I if I were in Staten Island, I yelled,
- 16:08Speaker 1: Gina would have like four hundred women turn around.
- 16:12Speaker 3: Of course, yes, of course.
- 16:15Speaker 9: Well I'm calling because I called a few weeks ago.
- 16:17Speaker 9: But that sign, the eighty six forty seven in Brooklyn,
- 16:20Speaker 9: that I was really upset, and I'm happy to say
- 16:22Speaker 9: it's gone. It's not hanging off the window anymore.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:26Speaker 9: And also I was going to say that I was
- 16:28Speaker 9: in the Museum of Natural History yesterday and I look
- 16:30Speaker 9: up on the wall and Ken Griffith's name is there.
- 16:33Speaker 9: And then I was in the Pereze Museum in Miami,
- 16:36Speaker 9: same thing. And it's such a shame that our crazy
- 16:39Speaker 9: mayor is throwing him out of the city. I just
- 16:41Speaker 9: think it's horrible.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Yeah, well, you know, they don't realize how anything works
- 16:45Speaker 1: in the city. That's a beautiful museum, the museum in
- 16:47Speaker 1: National History, right, I love it. The only reason, all
- 16:51Speaker 1: the reason you have these museums, it's people like Ken
- 16:53Speaker 1: Griffin pay for them, finance them. They they lose a
- 16:56Speaker 1: ton of money every year, but the Ken Griffins of
- 16:58Speaker 1: the world finance them, pay for them. Also, when you
- 17:00Speaker 1: go to the hospital, most of those wings are paid
- 17:02Speaker 1: for by these guys. But a good point, Gina, thanks
- 17:05Speaker 1: for calling. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how
- 17:08Speaker 1: you doing.
- 17:10Speaker 7: Good morning, Mark, that's Mike. As you've often pointed out,
- 17:13Speaker 7: these Republicans and these hearings are not very good at them.
- 17:17Speaker 7: I mean, they got this guy dead to rights. If
- 17:19Speaker 7: it was Pelosi, the guy.
- 17:20Speaker 8: Would have been behind bars, you know, months ago, if
- 17:23Speaker 8: not years ago. And there's a card that the Republican
- 17:26Speaker 8: guys don't want to play, and that is that he
- 17:28Speaker 8: was the head honcho during the AIDS crisis, which he mishandled.
- 17:31Speaker 7: Then and there's no more vocal group about rights.
- 17:35Speaker 8: It would be the gay community and they would be
- 17:38Speaker 8: up in arms and they'd have their you know, the
- 17:40Speaker 8: long knives out for this guy, and they refuse to
- 17:42Speaker 8: play that card, and it would be very beneficial to them.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a good point. I hope they bring that up.
- 17:47Speaker 1: A good point. Thanks for calling Mike. Yeah, a Fauci.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Once you look back and examine everything, Fauci totally bungled
- 17:55Speaker 1: the AIDS crisis. He's just an incompetent now that there
- 17:58Speaker 1: is the lying and the fraud and all that, But
- 18:03Speaker 1: we don't know is he really evil or is he
- 18:05Speaker 1: just incompetent, just bungling even the Wuhan lab stuff. I mean,
- 18:09Speaker 1: we don't think he was evil trying to create a
- 18:12Speaker 1: virus that would lock down the whole world. We think
- 18:14Speaker 1: it was just stupid with his gain of function research.
- 18:17Speaker 1: And then what he does when he's caught with something
- 18:21Speaker 1: really stupid, he goes launches into a cover up. He
- 18:23Speaker 1: covered up the Wuhan lab, He covers up everything, but
- 18:27Speaker 1: it has a long history of this. By the end
- 18:29Speaker 1: of the day, if you watch a Fox or someplace,
- 18:34Speaker 1: or read the lyric post, you'll see all the horrible
- 18:36Speaker 1: things that were revealed about him. If you're watching regular
- 18:39Speaker 1: network news, you won't ever learn about anything. They hide
- 18:42Speaker 1: three quarters of the news from you. They literally hide
- 18:44Speaker 1: it from you. Let's go to Stan in Forest Hills, Stan,
- 18:48Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 18:48Speaker 11: Oh?
- 18:49Speaker 12: You do so? I want to congratulate President Biden for
- 18:53Speaker 12: doing the correct and right thing, knowing.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Exactly Walter Winshell.
- 19:00Speaker 12: Thank you, President Biden.
- 19:01Speaker 7: You did the right thing.
- 19:02Speaker 1: There you go. Major point. We don't know what it is,
- 19:04Speaker 1: but as long as you, Harry are happy. Let's go
- 19:07Speaker 1: to Joseph in Manhattan. Joseph, how you doing?
- 19:12Speaker 10: Congratulate nine am, three hour Mark s emocial.
- 19:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 10: And now that we have doctor frankis sin Anthony Crossey diaries,
- 19:21Speaker 10: we must remember Mark, when Democrat Hillary Clinton destroyed kills
- 19:26Speaker 10: all of her computer servers and cell phones.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Uh yeah, that's a good point. But from what I hear,
- 19:34Speaker 1: they are looking for it. This is what happened with
- 19:37Speaker 1: the Fauci diary. Before leaving office. He deleted everything, scrubbed,
- 19:41Speaker 1: eraced everything, but They dug through server after server until
- 19:45Speaker 1: they found it. I understand. Now they are doing that
- 19:47Speaker 1: with Hillary Clinton's laptop her emails there. You know, remember
- 19:52Speaker 1: she got caught with all kinds of classified documents and
- 19:55Speaker 1: terrible things on her computer. They are looking for it
- 19:58Speaker 1: now on various servers. They will most likely find it
- 20:02Speaker 1: at some point this year and then release that. That's
- 20:05Speaker 1: going to be fascinating. Let's go to uh, Charlie and
- 20:09Speaker 1: Hunt's point. What are you doing? On Hunt's point? What
- 20:11Speaker 1: are you a fruit or a vegetable?
- 20:13Speaker 12: That's correct, Garvin wi a provisions and very good. Yes,
- 20:19Speaker 12: I'm calling because you have to tell you that politics
- 20:23Speaker 12: is just another form of entertainment. That's it. You know,
- 20:26Speaker 12: nobody's self is the consequence. It's always the same. It's
- 20:30Speaker 12: it's you hear about it. And and you know what,
- 20:34Speaker 12: I don't believe that anybody's out. They're all out for
- 20:37Speaker 12: themselves these politicians. Is wherewereo?
- 20:39Speaker 1: We we know, we know all that, but used to
- 20:42Speaker 1: say politics is show business for ugly people. Let's go
- 20:45Speaker 1: to Tom and Queen's Tom, how you doing.
- 20:49Speaker 3: In Mark the Morning?
- 20:51Speaker 10: Rand Pall needs to bring in Deborah Perks and.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, no that's that's on the that's on the schedule.
- 20:57Speaker 1: That's that's playing.
- 20:58Speaker 3: She's not on the I mean she's yeah, yeah, that's why.
- 21:02Speaker 1: That's why they're planning to bring her in.
- 21:05Speaker 3: Excellent, excellent.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Yeah, and she's not so bad. She thanks for calling.
- 21:10Speaker 1: She's a lot smarter and much more competent than Fauci. However,
- 21:16Speaker 1: she's quite the politician, so she's going to be very
- 21:18Speaker 1: careful what she says. She's not going to throw anybody
- 21:21Speaker 1: under the bus. And she played along with all that stuff. Hey,
- 21:25Speaker 1: also remember it says we didn't know this, It just
- 21:27Speaker 1: came out, as President Trump told everybody on truth Social
- 21:31Speaker 1: before leaving office. The first time before leaving office, he
- 21:35Speaker 1: called Joe Biden to warn him that Fauci was an
- 21:39Speaker 1: incompetent bumbler, and he said the call was well received.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Biden seemed grateful to hear this and not the sideline Fauci,
- 21:47Speaker 1: don't you. But once he took office, of course, he
- 21:51Speaker 1: just put a crown on Fauci and treated them like
- 21:53Speaker 1: the king. Hey, you people with that no king stuff?
- 21:56Speaker 1: Where were you when this guy was running everybody's lives?
- 22:00Speaker 1: Where were you? And Fauci was trying to run the
- 22:01Speaker 1: whole country and run ever brave lives. Where was that?
- 22:03Speaker 1: No King's movement? Then hey, when we come back, Oh,
- 22:06Speaker 1: Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter. We'll talk to him
- 22:09Speaker 1: next on seven to ten w o R.
- 22:12Speaker 2: It's the Mark Simone Show Live from the wr Life
- 22:16Speaker 2: Back Studios.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Well, Roger Friedman, the Great Entertainment Reporter. You should check
- 22:22Speaker 1: out his website. There's and all sorts of news stories
- 22:25Speaker 1: every day, Showbiz for one one dot com, Showbiz for
- 22:29Speaker 1: one one dot com. Roger Friedman, how you doing.
- 22:33Speaker 3: I'm great? Good morning.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Hey have you seen the movie Odyssey?
- 22:38Speaker 11: Has in everyone seen the movie Odyssey? It's up to
- 22:41Speaker 11: three hundred million dollars after twelve days. Oh, I thought
- 22:44Speaker 11: it was biggit. I thought it was six hundred huge.
- 22:47Speaker 11: I thought it was six that's worldwide. Oh, that's worldwide,
- 22:50Speaker 11: three hundred million. I states it's going to be a
- 22:53Speaker 11: billion dollar movie at least, and you've seen it's going
- 22:55Speaker 11: to win. It's gonna of course, I've seen it. I
- 22:58Speaker 11: wrote for one of the first reviews of it. Well
- 23:00Speaker 11: it's a fabulous movie.
- 23:02Speaker 1: Well what's so fabulous?
- 23:05Speaker 11: Well, because it really takes Homer, who's three thousand years old,
- 23:11Speaker 11: and makes him accessible and even though some of the
- 23:17Speaker 11: translators have complained about it, it's it's done something amazing.
- 23:23Speaker 11: It's made people talk about Homer and talk about the Odyssey.
- 23:27Speaker 11: You know, the when you watch the Odyssey, you realize
- 23:30Speaker 11: that every action, you know, it's a fictional story. It's
- 23:33Speaker 11: not History's no, there's no history there. You know, there's
- 23:38Speaker 11: some references to things, but it's not. This was the
- 23:41Speaker 11: story he made up three thousand years ago. He's like
- 23:43Speaker 11: the original storyteller. And every movie, if you really think
- 23:48Speaker 11: about it, every adventure that we know, even Shakespeare's adventures
- 23:53Speaker 11: come from the Odyssey.
- 23:54Speaker 3: Really, yes, they do.
- 23:57Speaker 11: And it's so obvious when you're watching it, you think,
- 24:00Speaker 11: oh my, you know, this is really insane. But he
- 24:03Speaker 11: was the original guy. And Christopher Nolan's done a wonderful
- 24:09Speaker 11: job of making.
- 24:11Speaker 3: It so that you'll you'll want to watch it.
- 24:13Speaker 11: And it's really a story of a man who's trying
- 24:15Speaker 11: to get home to his family. It's a very simple story.
- 24:19Speaker 11: But you know, back then people are laughing. Now they're saying, oh,
- 24:23Speaker 11: you know, if he'd home. If Odysseus, the main character,
- 24:28Speaker 11: had you know, been smart. The trip home would have
- 24:30Speaker 11: taken an hour, but only you know now in twenty
- 24:34Speaker 11: twenty six, but you know it took twenty years back then.
- 24:39Speaker 11: But it's a beautiful job. Matt Damon is terrific, and Hathaway,
- 24:43Speaker 11: they're all going to get Oscar nomination.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Everyone.
- 24:45Speaker 11: They're going to get like fifteen Oscar nominations for this movie,
- 24:48Speaker 11: and they'll probably win most of them. There's no other
- 24:51Speaker 11: movie like this in twenty twenty six, even the ones
- 24:55Speaker 11: that are, even the ones that are coming, aren't this good.
- 24:57Speaker 11: So it's a real event. It's sold out forever on Imax.
- 25:02Speaker 11: You can't get in there. You cannot get in there
- 25:04Speaker 11: for anything. But you can go see it on seventy
- 25:08Speaker 11: yilimeter and you can see it in Dolby theaters and
- 25:10Speaker 11: it's just fine. It is to see it that way.
- 25:13Speaker 11: You'll want to see it. Yeah, it's fine to see
- 25:14Speaker 11: it that way, and you'll want to see it twice anyway,
- 25:16Speaker 11: So you can always go back and see it in iox.
- 25:18Speaker 3: But you have to see that.
- 25:19Speaker 11: You have to see a choice because there's so much
- 25:21Speaker 11: going on that it's hard. It's hard to take everything in.
- 25:25Speaker 11: I was very happy the second time I saw it,
- 25:27Speaker 11: because I was like, oh, yeah, that and that. So
- 25:31Speaker 11: there's a lot going on on the screen.
- 25:33Speaker 3: But it's quite an.
- 25:34Speaker 11: Accomplishment and a big hit. Of course, on Friday, it's
- 25:39Speaker 11: going to have a little competition from Spider Man.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Oh well, see to me, that sounds more Spider Man.
- 25:46Speaker 1: That sounds more exciting Spider Man. Who I want to
- 25:48Speaker 1: see that? But Homer about a guy trying to just fun,
- 25:51Speaker 1: it doesn't sound that exciting a guy trying to go home.
- 25:54Speaker 11: No, No, it's it's very exciting. God, you have to
- 25:57Speaker 11: see that. You haven't seen it yet. The Troy and
- 26:00Speaker 11: Horses spent the whole thing with the Trojan horses amazing
- 26:03Speaker 11: the whole second.
- 26:04Speaker 1: That's where that's where the Trojan horse story comes from.
- 26:08Speaker 11: Yes, yes, that's where Trojans come from.
- 26:13Speaker 1: That's why.
- 26:16Speaker 11: Condoms football players anything named trojan. So yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 26:22Speaker 11: and uh, the Trojan horse part is fabulous.
- 26:26Speaker 3: Helen of Troy is great.
- 26:29Speaker 11: So all these things you know from history from from
- 26:33Speaker 11: fictional history are represented. You know, it's it's it's really terrific.
- 26:41Speaker 1: Let's it's not good Fellaws. Let's be honest, it's.
- 26:45Speaker 11: Not good Fellaws because they don't play Leila in it,
- 26:49Speaker 11: and there's no cocaine.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Well there might be cocaine, but we don't know if
- 26:53Speaker 3: there is.
- 26:54Speaker 11: And then Spider Man is uh, you know, just fun,
- 26:57Speaker 11: total fun, and it's apparently to set a record.
- 27:00Speaker 3: For its open.
- 27:03Speaker 11: There's a lot of about it, and I've seen it.
- 27:08Speaker 3: It's probably the best Spider Man.
- 27:10Speaker 11: There have not been nine regular Spider Man movies in
- 27:14Speaker 11: the last twenty two years, twenty four years, and this
- 27:17Speaker 11: is the best one, very nicely done. And I've really
- 27:21Speaker 11: become a fan of John Burnhall, who's in the Odyssey
- 27:25Speaker 11: and in Spider Man and from the Bear. You're known
- 27:28Speaker 11: from the Bear, and he was just on Broadway and
- 27:31Speaker 11: Dog Day Afternoon, a terrific actor. Tom Holland and Zendeia
- 27:36Speaker 11: have chemistry off the charts, and of course they just
- 27:39Speaker 11: got married in real life. So everyone wants to see
- 27:42Speaker 11: this movie and it's a lot of fun, and of
- 27:45Speaker 11: course you'll enjoy it because at one point they do
- 27:48Speaker 11: for just a nano second, played the Spider Man theme
- 27:51Speaker 11: song from the cartoon from the original Spider Man. So
- 27:56Speaker 11: that always makes me happy when I hear that.
- 27:58Speaker 1: It sounds good well. Playing the both of these perfectly.
- 28:02Speaker 1: I actually now want to see the Odyssey.
- 28:04Speaker 11: But hey, oh no, you really have to see the Odyssey.
- 28:07Speaker 11: You're gonna love it. You're really gonna love it. It's
- 28:10Speaker 11: it's it's you know. And have a nice meal before
- 28:13Speaker 11: the movie. Go to the restroom.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Oh it's not one of these four hour movies, is it.
- 28:20Speaker 11: It's a three hour movie, but it doesn't feel like
- 28:22Speaker 11: three hours. It doesn't feel like three hours. It goes
- 28:25Speaker 11: very fast. And the last hour is so excited. Can
- 28:27Speaker 11: I say something? The last hour of the Odyssey is
- 28:29Speaker 11: so exciting that you have you you're thinking, as it's
- 28:33Speaker 11: coming to end, you're thinking, no, no, no.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I don't want this to end. That's how good it is.
- 28:38Speaker 1: All right, Well, yeah, I know you've inspired a lot
- 28:42Speaker 1: of people. Now the lines will be even longer. If
- 28:44Speaker 1: you want to see it the Imax, I don't think
- 28:46Speaker 1: you can get until September. That's like the first seats available.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Now what you can see in seventy millimeter, it's fine.
- 28:52Speaker 1: You can see it in the Dolby theaters.
- 28:54Speaker 11: I would go back and see it like in New
- 28:55Speaker 11: York at the AMC Lincoln Square. Yeah, you just go
- 28:58Speaker 11: see it in the Dolby Theater. It's great. I love
- 29:02Speaker 11: that theater. That's where we saw Spider Man the other night.
- 29:05Speaker 11: By the way, it's also a big Beatles week. Beatles
- 29:08Speaker 11: Announcements today. Tell us what there's new stuff coming out? Right, Yeah,
- 29:13Speaker 11: there's a Rubber Soul, which was the first album of
- 29:18Speaker 11: sort of the adult Beatles. If you think about how
- 29:20Speaker 11: fast the Beatles went, it was seven years and the
- 29:23Speaker 11: first three years where you know all those Ticket to
- 29:26Speaker 11: Ride and I Want to Hold Your Hands and all
- 29:27Speaker 11: the pop hits, and then they turned around and put
- 29:30Speaker 11: out Rubber Soul, which was followed by A Revolver Sergeant Pepper,
- 29:34Speaker 11: the White album Abbey Road Let It Be. This all
- 29:37Speaker 11: happened in a four year period, and it's hard to
- 29:40Speaker 11: imagine now. And Rubber Soul is getting an anniversary box
- 29:45Speaker 11: set with lots of demos and outtakes that we've never heard.
- 29:49Speaker 11: I saw John Lennon song that nobody knew existed. It's
- 29:53Speaker 11: a big box set that's coming out October second.
- 29:56Speaker 3: I already want it.
- 29:57Speaker 11: It's got a Blu ray disc that's separated there that
- 30:00Speaker 11: has the Dolby Utmost sound, which is just unbelievable.
- 30:04Speaker 3: So this is going to be a big deal.
- 30:06Speaker 1: Oh where do I play a Blu ray disc?
- 30:09Speaker 11: You know, if you have still I think most people
- 30:12Speaker 11: saw DVD players. Oh don't you have a DVD player? Yeah,
- 30:17Speaker 11: of course, I think I'm mean a disc like via. No, no, no,
- 30:21Speaker 11: it's a disc. It's a metal disc. You can But
- 30:24Speaker 11: they also sell listen to everyone has you know, you
- 30:27Speaker 11: and I are passed that were over it. But young people,
- 30:30Speaker 11: everyone loves Vinyl records LPs, and so this is being
- 30:35Speaker 11: offered in a special you know, LP box too.
- 30:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but they're just using them as posters. I mean
- 30:40Speaker 1: they're not actually listening to the vine.
- 30:41Speaker 3: No, no, no, no people.
- 30:43Speaker 11: Really, I'm very surprised because I was thrilled when CDs
- 30:47Speaker 11: came in in nineteen eighty three or whatever it was.
- 30:50Speaker 11: I was very happy to move over from LPs. LPs
- 30:54Speaker 11: were warped and they scratched, they jumped, so I was
- 30:58Speaker 11: very happy to move over to see and you know,
- 31:00Speaker 11: if you have a good CD player, you're in great shape.
- 31:05Speaker 3: But uh, and now of course everyone's streaming.
- 31:09Speaker 11: But uh, there's a whole world of people who want LPs.
- 31:14Speaker 1: Uh yeah, hello, yeah, sorry about.
- 31:18Speaker 11: Get my technique's uh turntable out again.
- 31:22Speaker 1: I still have one of those in the closet somewhere.

- 32:55Speaker 1: rain off and on a shower too, maybe in the afternoon.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Tonight looks pretty good. Tomorrow a little shower here and there,
- 33:05Speaker 1: and then same thing. Friday might be a brief shower.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Otherwise it should be, believe it or not, a pretty
- 33:09Speaker 1: good weekend after all of that. So yeah, we'll get
- 33:13Speaker 1: to Fauci. In the next hour, we'll get to President Trump.
