- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York it's Mark Simone
- 0:05Speaker 1: Show on seven tenor well, hey, we'll get to the
- 0:13Speaker 1: Epstein piles. We'll get to the Milania movie. We'll get
- 0:17Speaker 1: to Savannah Guthrie's mother and the tragic story. We'll get
- 0:22Speaker 1: to all sorts of stuff today. We'll get to Mayor
- 0:25Speaker 1: mom Donnie his screw ups this week. Although give them
- 0:28Speaker 1: credit for one thing. They finally have started picking up
- 0:31Speaker 1: the garbage. You remember I told you yesterday right outside
- 0:33Speaker 1: there on fifty sixth Street was a mountain of garbage
- 0:37Speaker 1: piled up about maybe twelve fifteen feet high, and it
- 0:41Speaker 1: went for like one hundred feet. Well today it's gone.
- 0:45Speaker 1: It's completely picked up. The whole street totally clear of garbage.
- 0:49Speaker 1: So they're starting to pick it up a little late,
- 0:52Speaker 1: but it's getting picked up now. The mayor also screwing
- 0:55Speaker 1: up everything left and right. We'll get to that coming up.
- 0:59Speaker 1: But the other thing is crazy Kathy Hokel, this ridiculous
- 1:04Speaker 1: governor we have, has picked her running mate, and she's
- 1:07Speaker 1: chosen the former City council speaker Adrian Adams far left wacko,
- 1:13Speaker 1: who was just a disaster in the city council in fact,
- 1:16Speaker 1: such a far left wacko she wanted to run for
- 1:20Speaker 1: mayor but couldn't get anywhere in the primary. Even Mom
- 1:23Speaker 1: Donnie was a better choice for voters than Adrian Adams.
- 1:26Speaker 1: So it tells you a lot about Kathy Hockle that
- 1:29Speaker 1: she would pick such a far left lunatic who's got
- 1:33Speaker 1: a whole history of defund the police, anti Semitic stuff,
- 1:37Speaker 1: all sorts of This is who Kathy Hokel has chosen
- 1:40Speaker 1: to be her partner. Now, this will help Bruce Blakeman
- 1:43Speaker 1: a lot. Who is the best choice for governor? He
- 1:47Speaker 1: would be the best governor. Blakeman a common sense, logical guy.
- 1:51Speaker 1: He is a governor. Basically, he's the county executive of
- 1:55Speaker 1: Nassau County and it's the best run county in America,
- 1:58Speaker 1: lowest crime rate, best run county, hasn't raised taxes. So
- 2:04Speaker 1: compare that to Hochel and her new running mate, the
- 2:08Speaker 1: crazy left wing lunatic Adrian Adams. Now, this is something
- 2:12Speaker 1: she's done in order to win over the Mam Donnie
- 2:15Speaker 1: crowd because she's terrified off Mom Donnie. She's basically going
- 2:19Speaker 1: to be working for Mom Donnie, who has an army
- 2:21Speaker 1: of campaign people out there who could work against her
- 2:25Speaker 1: and kill any chance she has. So that's why she
- 2:28Speaker 1: caved in. That's why she appointed the left wing kook
- 2:31Speaker 1: Adrian Adams, probably at Mumdannie's suggestion, and return Mam Donnie
- 2:37Speaker 1: just endorsed her for governor. Now here's the other problem,
- 2:41Speaker 1: ma'm donnie. His big, big push is to get this
- 2:45Speaker 1: tax increase in New York. He wants to raise taxes.
- 2:48Speaker 1: Now he hasn't got the power to do it. The
- 2:50Speaker 1: governor can do it. He needs her to do it.
- 2:53Speaker 1: So everybody's assuming a deal has been made that she
- 2:58Speaker 1: will after the election. She'll pretend she's not going to
- 3:01Speaker 1: raise taxes, but then after the election she will raise them.
- 3:04Speaker 1: And that's why Mom Donnie has made this deal to
- 3:08Speaker 1: endorse her. So we'll keep an eye on that. It's
- 3:11Speaker 1: an ugly situation for hocal Hey. Cardinal Dolan leaves today.
- 3:16Speaker 1: It's his final day. The new Cardinal, Ronald Hicks, takes
- 3:20Speaker 1: over the installation later this afternoon. The good news is
- 3:24Speaker 1: Cardinal Dolan will stay around New York. He'll be active
- 3:27Speaker 1: here in the New York area. He will even conduct
- 3:30Speaker 1: services at other churches around New York. But he'll be
- 3:34Speaker 1: around town. That's the good news. Everybody loves him. Very
- 3:37Speaker 1: very very tough situation for this guy, Ronald Hicks to
- 3:41Speaker 1: try to fill those shoes. President Trump yesterday recorded an interview.
- 3:47Speaker 1: You know, it's a tradition in the Super Bowl, there's
- 3:51Speaker 1: a big presidential interview that goes with the super Bowl coverage.
- 3:55Speaker 1: So this year NBC has the Super Bowl and their
- 4:02Speaker 1: new anchor, Tom Yamas, who's doing very well, by the way,
- 4:05Speaker 1: getting better numbers than less they holed. But Tom Yamas,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so he'll sit down interview the President for about ten
- 4:11Speaker 1: to fifteen minutes. They actually recorded it yesterday. Nothing too
- 4:16Speaker 1: earth shattering in there, although the President said at one
- 4:19Speaker 1: point Yamas said to him about Minnesota, about ice, And
- 4:24Speaker 1: give you AMA's credit, he did it very well. You know,
- 4:26Speaker 1: normally these fake news guys would make it into a
- 4:30Speaker 1: gotcha question and attack question. Will you admit now that
- 4:34Speaker 1: good which never gets you in answer that it never
- 4:39Speaker 1: works you just put the guy on the defensive. But
- 4:41Speaker 1: Yamis did the right way. He just said, what have
- 4:43Speaker 1: you learned from Minnesota? Just the perfect way to put it.
- 4:47Speaker 1: The shorter the question, the better, the less judgmental of
- 4:50Speaker 1: the question, the better. So it's a perfect way to asking.
- 4:53Speaker 1: President Trump at one point said well, I learned we
- 4:56Speaker 1: could use a lighter touch. He said, you gotta be
- 4:58Speaker 1: tough with these guys. They're dangerous criminal, but we could
- 5:00Speaker 1: have used we could use a softer touch. And that
- 5:04Speaker 1: goes along with him and Tom Holman pulling seven hundred
- 5:08Speaker 1: ICE officers out of Minnesota.
- 5:10Speaker 2: I have announced, effective immediately, we'll draw down seven hundred people,
- 5:16Speaker 2: effective today, seven hundred long enforcing personnel.
- 5:19Speaker 1: Now fake news will spin that well, and obviously they're
- 5:21Speaker 1: caving in. They're admitting it wrong. They're caving in and
- 5:24Speaker 1: not caving in. They've arrested four thousand dangerous criminal illegals
- 5:29Speaker 1: in Minnesota, four thousand of them already and that's basically
- 5:33Speaker 1: most of the ones that were after So the job
- 5:37Speaker 1: is like eighty percent done. The other reason they can
- 5:39Speaker 1: draw down is Mayor Fry and Tim Waltz have agreed
- 5:44Speaker 1: to cooperate with ICE now to lend them officers and support.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Put in some whenever there's going to be a demonstration,
- 5:52Speaker 1: put in some crowd control so ICE doesn't have to
- 5:54Speaker 1: do it. Also, they're going to start releasing prisoners who
- 5:58Speaker 1: are in jail two ice. Instead of Ice having a
- 6:02Speaker 1: run around the street and try to catch them, they'll
- 6:05Speaker 1: let them come to the jail and take them away.
- 6:09Speaker 1: One reason is a Waltz and Fry started to realize
- 6:13Speaker 1: they might be subject to criminal charges because they were
- 6:17Speaker 1: actually interfering with a law enforcement operations. So they will
- 6:19Speaker 1: now cooperate and that's the reason for the draw down.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I've said this many times. I've worked for six presidents
- 6:26Speaker 2: and ten administrations. When it comes to public safety, border security,
- 6:32Speaker 2: immigration enforcement, no one's done it better than President of Trump.
- 6:37Speaker 2: His success is unprecedented.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Yeah, so things going well there, It'll get better, it'll
- 6:44Speaker 1: calm down even more so. Hey, the assassin. Remember there
- 6:50Speaker 1: was Butler Pennsylvania where the president got hit in the
- 6:54Speaker 1: side of the head, and then there was about was it?
- 6:58Speaker 1: Two weeks later the golf court in Florida. An assassin
- 7:02Speaker 1: shows up with a big rifle and tries to assassinate
- 7:05Speaker 1: the president. Luckily, secret Service spot him ahead of time.
- 7:08Speaker 1: They capture the guy. Well, he was convicted yesterday. The
- 7:11Speaker 1: judge threw the book at him. Life in prison. He
- 7:15Speaker 1: was fighting to get like twenty seven years. He's actually
- 7:17Speaker 1: an older guy he's about sixty, so life in prison
- 7:22Speaker 1: for the judge just said he was just an awful evil.
- 7:26Speaker 1: He was totally evil. He was a very bizarre guy
- 7:30Speaker 1: in the courtroom, very very bizarre, making faces at the judge,
- 7:35Speaker 1: really strange behavior, even his family a little kookie in
- 7:39Speaker 1: the courtroom. But the federal judge had no sympathy for
- 7:45Speaker 1: this guy at all. Yeah, life in prison. Assault rifle,
- 7:52Speaker 1: tried to kill the president. Yeah. Actually, this guy, his
- 7:57Speaker 1: name is Routh, even tried to stab himself with a
- 8:00Speaker 1: pen in the courtroom, started cursing. Ralph's daughter stormed out
- 8:06Speaker 1: of the courtroom well, cursing. But the judge had no
- 8:08Speaker 1: sympathy for them. And he's going away for life. That's
- 8:13Speaker 1: the good news.
- 8:13Speaker 3: The judge made a comment at the very end about
- 8:15Speaker 3: there was a sliver of good that came out of
- 8:18Speaker 3: this incident, And of course, there was nothing good in
- 8:20Speaker 3: this incident except for the fact of the heroic acts
- 8:23Speaker 3: of the secret service agent that put himself in harm's way,
- 8:27Speaker 3: really in harms way. This guy had an AK forty seven,
- 8:29Speaker 3: loaded twenty something rounds in the magazine, put himself in
- 8:32Speaker 3: harm's way and prevented a shooting.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Yeah, so you you won't see this guy.
- 8:37Speaker 3: The defendant try to portray himself as a do gooder,
- 8:41Speaker 3: a victim, and I think the judge Cannon said it best.
- 8:44Speaker 3: She says, the evil is in you.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Mister ruth the evil is in you. Yeah. Hey, Savannah
- 8:50Speaker 1: Guthrie's mother. The latest, well, there's talk of a ransom
- 8:53Speaker 1: note and other reports saying they certain sources they saw
- 8:57Speaker 1: the ransom note. The ransom note looks well, I don't
- 8:59Speaker 1: know if there is a ransom note. In fact, it
- 9:01Speaker 1: looks like most likely there isn't because the Guthrie Savannah
- 9:05Speaker 1: Guthrie and her family have put out a video asking
- 9:08Speaker 1: the kidnappers to talk to them. Savannah Gouthy is saying,
- 9:12Speaker 1: we're ready to talk. We need to know that she's alive.
- 9:15Speaker 1: So I don't think they would have put this videot
- 9:16Speaker 1: if there was a ransom note. President Trump spoke with
- 9:20Speaker 1: Savannah Guthrie and is giving her total complete help. The
- 9:24Speaker 1: FBI has been assigned, all FBI resources are on the case.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Cash but tel FBI directors even heading out there. There's
- 9:31Speaker 1: a lot the FBI can do because in a case
- 9:34Speaker 1: like this, you get a million false leads and a
- 9:38Speaker 1: Little Pima County Sheriff's office doesn't have the resources, but
- 9:41Speaker 1: the FBI has begun taking care of this for him.
- 9:45Speaker 1: They'll track down all of these false leads. Then there's
- 9:48Speaker 1: a lot of leads that come from out of town,
- 9:50Speaker 1: out of state. FBI will do that. They've put a
- 9:53Speaker 1: lot of agents on this. Also, the FBI can help
- 9:57Speaker 1: expedite warrants. They can get access to the mother's digital
- 10:01Speaker 1: accounts and come through the cell tower data. They can
- 10:04Speaker 1: get all this done a lot faster than the locals can.
- 10:08Speaker 1: So big, big help there from from the president. And
- 10:13Speaker 1: we'll see she's on this medication, heart medicine, blood pressure medicine,
- 10:19Speaker 1: cardiac medicine. She's got a pacemaker. Doctors say, though you
- 10:23Speaker 1: can go a couple of weeks without, I mean it's
- 10:25Speaker 1: not good. It's anything can happen when you're not on medicine,
- 10:29Speaker 1: but it's possible you could. You could last a couple
- 10:31Speaker 1: of weeks without it. So but they've got to find her,
- 10:34Speaker 1: and they've got to find her. So hey, the Epstein Files.
- 10:38Speaker 1: Stephen Colbert finds himself in the Epstein Files. Nah, nothing bad.
- 10:43Speaker 1: They just I've been reading. I started looking up people
- 10:47Speaker 1: I know in there just to see what they were
- 10:48Speaker 1: up to, and it was terrible. But then I started.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You go to the just just google Epstein files. It'll
- 10:55Speaker 1: take you to the Justice Department site where they have
- 10:58Speaker 1: it up. It's called Epstein Lifebry. There's a search bar
- 11:02Speaker 1: you can search for whoever you want in there. I'm
- 11:05Speaker 1: searching all these people just for the helvit. I type
- 11:07Speaker 1: my name and I come up in six places in
- 11:09Speaker 1: the Epstein files. Nothing bad, nothing bad. He's talking about
- 11:14Speaker 1: the show. At the one time he was wanted to
- 11:15Speaker 1: come to an event. I was the MC. Nothing bad
- 11:18Speaker 1: in there.
- 11:19Speaker 4: Oh.
- 11:20Speaker 1: But one time it was an email back and forth
- 11:22Speaker 1: between him and Jackie Martling, and it turns out Jackie
- 11:26Speaker 1: Martling was emailing him a lot. Epstein was a big
- 11:28Speaker 1: fan of comedians. You know a lot of these guys
- 11:32Speaker 1: that could have zillions of dollars, but there's still starstruck amateurs.
- 11:36Speaker 1: They're like groupies. And he's emailing all his friends how
- 11:39Speaker 1: excited he is he knows Jackie Martling. And then there's
- 11:41Speaker 1: one exchange where Jackie says, would you like to meet
- 11:45Speaker 1: Gilbert Godfried? I could bring him over. Epstein is all excited,
- 11:49Speaker 1: emailing everybody telling him he's going to meet Gilbert Godfried,
- 11:52Speaker 1: and then there's a couple others. He's all excited he's
- 11:55Speaker 1: going to meet. He became friends with the comedian Bobby Slayton.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You may not know the name. He's a very good comedian,
- 12:03Speaker 1: Nick DePaulo. So he mee Epstein and having these guys
- 12:06Speaker 1: over at his house for dinner, going out with them. Hey.
- 12:10Speaker 1: The other thing is that has his American Express bills.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I don't know why, but he put all his American
- 12:14Speaker 1: Express bills on the on his computer, so you can
- 12:19Speaker 1: go through his American Express bills. It's pretty interesting to
- 12:22Speaker 1: see what restaurants everything. I was at the Beach Cafe
- 12:26Speaker 1: last night's great restaurant on Second Avenue. Look them up.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Sure enough, Epstein came there a bunch of times, a
- 12:34Speaker 1: bunch of times. So if you want to have fun,
- 12:36Speaker 1: just and hey, there is a big law from one
- 12:39Speaker 1: of the biggest law firms in New York. The CEO,
- 12:42Speaker 1: the chairman of off. He's been there for many years.
- 12:44Speaker 1: He's all over these Epstein files. Very very chummy with Epstein.
- 12:49Speaker 1: So I believe he stepped down yesterday. He actually had
- 12:52Speaker 1: to resign from the law firm over this. Bill Gates
- 12:55Speaker 1: is all through this. Now. The other thing is Epstein
- 13:01Speaker 1: was very big on doctors. He was busy with all
- 13:03Speaker 1: kinds of doctors, and he was also getting doctors for
- 13:06Speaker 1: his friends. I mean, but in there you see that
- 13:08Speaker 1: Epstein had a lot of sexually transmitted diseases, He had
- 13:12Speaker 1: a lot of dinorrhea. He had everything he'd have, He
- 13:14Speaker 1: had tons and tons. And now there was one report
- 13:19Speaker 1: that came out that Bill Gates, who was a frequent
- 13:24Speaker 1: visitor there to the Epstein house, contracted to some std
- 13:29Speaker 1: and needed some help getting rid of him. Now Bill
- 13:33Speaker 1: Gates says, all of this stuff is not true.
- 13:35Speaker 5: The email is, you know, false. It just reminds me,
- 13:39Speaker 5: you know, every minute I spent with him, I regret
- 13:41Speaker 5: and I apologized that I did that.
- 13:44Speaker 1: There you go, very convincing. I am, and that's the
- 13:47Speaker 1: false I didn't do it. But see the problem with
- 13:51Speaker 1: the Gates. Epstein was a wealthy guy, and he was
- 13:54Speaker 1: throwing money around left and right. The other thing you
- 13:56Speaker 1: see in these emails, all the college presidents are catering
- 13:59Speaker 1: to him. These college presents all running to see him
- 14:01Speaker 1: because he became a big donor he'd get millions and
- 14:04Speaker 1: millions and millions to the college or something with the doctors.
- 14:06Speaker 1: He donate millions to these hospitals and they'd get him
- 14:10Speaker 1: whatever he needed. So Bill Gates claims that he was
- 14:13Speaker 1: meeting with Epstein to get some help with his charity work.
- 14:17Speaker 1: His charity. There were there for charity work. You know,
- 14:22Speaker 1: if you're doing charity work and you're trying to raise money,
- 14:24Speaker 1: you don't go to Jeffrey Epstein's house. You might go
- 14:26Speaker 1: to the Ford Foundation, you might go see the Rockefeller
- 14:29Speaker 1: Foundation to get money, get a grant. You don't go
- 14:31Speaker 1: to Epstein's house. Also, what was Epstein worth two hundred million?
- 14:37Speaker 1: Bill Gates is worth two hundred billion, two hundred billion.
- 14:41Speaker 1: What the hell would he need money from Epstein for?
- 14:43Speaker 1: So what was he doing there? Well? Never know, And
- 14:46Speaker 1: I never went to the island. I never met any women.
- 14:49Speaker 5: And so you know, the more that comes out, the
- 14:50Speaker 5: more clear it'll be that although the time was a mistake,
- 14:55Speaker 5: it had nothing to do with that kind of behavior.
- 14:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I haven't met any women. First of all,
- 15:02Speaker 1: anytime you went to Epstein's house, there were a lot
- 15:05Speaker 1: of women not underage. Epstein liked the underage women. That
- 15:09Speaker 1: was his thing. But if you went to his parties,
- 15:11Speaker 1: as events, as things, there were always a lot of
- 15:13Speaker 1: women of all ages there. And nobody's buying this Bill
- 15:18Speaker 1: Gates story. First of all, I'm on the board of
- 15:21Speaker 1: a lot of charities. I work with a lot of charities.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Up into these meetings where your fundraise, you go have
- 15:25Speaker 1: a meeting. Sometimes it's in a conference room, sometimes it's
- 15:28Speaker 1: at the guy's house. And these meetings always always take
- 15:34Speaker 1: a half hour. If it's a big intense meet why
- 15:37Speaker 1: it could take an hour? That's it now. The record
- 15:41Speaker 1: shows Bill Gates visiting Epstein's house and staying for about
- 15:44Speaker 1: seven hours. Eight hour. That's not a meeting about the donation.
- 15:48Speaker 1: You're not there seven hours, that's impossible. It caused missus Gates,
- 15:53Speaker 1: Melinda Gates, to leave. That was the end of the marriage.
- 15:56Speaker 1: She's still upset.
- 15:57Speaker 5: Whatever questions remain there of what I don't can't even
- 16:01Speaker 5: begin to know all of it. Those questions are for
- 16:03Speaker 5: those people and for even my ex husband. They need
- 16:06Speaker 5: to answer to those things, not me.
- 16:08Speaker 1: No to tell the truth. Can you tell the difference
- 16:11Speaker 1: between the wife's voice and Bill Gates's voice?
- 16:13Speaker 5: The email is uh, you know false?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Now the wife sounds just like whatever questions remain there?
- 16:19Speaker 1: What I a little different?
- 16:20Speaker 5: Don't can't even begin to know all of it, but
- 16:23Speaker 5: she's left.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Anyway, We'll take some calls next eight hundred three to
- 16:26Speaker 1: two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight hundred
- 16:31Speaker 1: three two one zero seven ten.
- 16:33Speaker 5: Set up, pre said on the iHeartRadio app to dou
- 16:36Speaker 5: woor to hear Mark live.
- 16:38Speaker 3: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Now back to Mark Simone on douboor Hey, let's take
- 16:50Speaker 1: some calls. Let's go to Terry in Bayside, Terry, how
- 16:54Speaker 1: you doing?
- 16:56Speaker 4: Oh?
- 16:56Speaker 1: Hi'm MAP eighty. Every day this guy has a different name,
- 17:00Speaker 1: a different something. Let's go to Walter in Forest Hills, Walter,
- 17:04Speaker 1: how you doing?
- 17:06Speaker 4: Hi?
- 17:06Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark, how are you good? I wanted to
- 17:09Speaker 6: make a comment on the snow cleanup. You know, I
- 17:11Speaker 6: was talking to some of the sanitation guys hanging out
- 17:14Speaker 6: at the coffee shop and they mentioned, you know, the
- 17:18Speaker 6: city this year directed them that they never had to
- 17:21Speaker 6: do this before, but they had to clean and make
- 17:23Speaker 6: a priority clean every bike lane in the city. It
- 17:28Speaker 6: had to be perfectly clear, so you know, the city.
- 17:31Speaker 6: You got to remember, over the past couple of years,
- 17:33Speaker 6: they put these bike lanes down Queens Boulevard the entire
- 17:37Speaker 6: length all over green Point Williamsburg. These little side street
- 17:41Speaker 6: you got bike lanes, and the bike lanes are protected,
- 17:43Speaker 6: so you know, you got these stanchions put up concrete barriers.
- 17:47Speaker 6: So the city bought these like little snowplow machines for
- 17:51Speaker 6: the sanitation guys to use. It's like a quarter of
- 17:55Speaker 6: the size of a street sweeper. Yeah, they really didn't
- 17:58Speaker 6: work out too well. One of them overturned on the
- 18:00Speaker 6: FDR drive. You know, it was just they're not made
- 18:03Speaker 6: for that. It's made for like a mole parking lot,
- 18:05Speaker 6: they said. So they said, you know, just to push
- 18:08Speaker 6: that amount of snow with that machine, they had to
- 18:10Speaker 6: bring in you know, really manual labor. Have you douned
- 18:13Speaker 6: your pa.
- 18:14Speaker 1: Well, there's some truth to that. But you know, they
- 18:16Speaker 1: have not cleared the city bike installations. In fact, there's
- 18:19Speaker 1: three thousand city bike installations. Only five hundred of them
- 18:22Speaker 1: are working right now because twenty five hundred of them
- 18:25Speaker 1: are buried in snow. So they haven't helped the bike population.
- 18:30Speaker 1: They've for whatever reason, left those affect city bank, a
- 18:33Speaker 1: city bike is furious about that losing the fortune. How
- 18:37Speaker 1: are the streets and forest hills, They're good.
- 18:40Speaker 6: You know, the main streets that the thing is on
- 18:42Speaker 6: the side streets you have just you know, because people
- 18:45Speaker 6: clearing out the driveways. When they clear out the driveways,
- 18:48Speaker 6: these big mountains of snow in the stream, huge mountains.
- 18:52Speaker 6: It's just going to stay there until it.
- 18:53Speaker 4: Mounts, you know.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah, and all right.
- 18:56Speaker 6: Well, fortunately we have a driveways.
- 19:00Speaker 1: All right, Well, thanks for calling Walter. Yeah, you got
- 19:03Speaker 1: another other problem is Friday night into Saturday morning, he
- 19:07Speaker 1: could have one inch of snow. It's not going to
- 19:09Speaker 1: be much, but it could be some snow Friday night
- 19:13Speaker 1: into Saturday morning, up to about one inch. If you're way,
- 19:16Speaker 1: way way out in Long Island, you could get over
- 19:19Speaker 1: an inch. But the other problem is sat. Friday night
- 19:23Speaker 1: Saturday is going to be extremely cold, worse than what
- 19:26Speaker 1: you've been through in the last seventeen days. Friday night
- 19:29Speaker 1: Saturday Saturday night may be the single coldest day and
- 19:33Speaker 1: night of the entire winter. But then next week it
- 19:36Speaker 1: goes back into the thirties. That should get back to normal.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Let's go to Paul in Boston, Paul, how you doing?
- 19:43Speaker 4: Bye? Mock mock? Why don't you have he's trying to say,
- 19:47Speaker 4: is how he calls.
- 19:51Speaker 1: I hate to break. We can't take your call anymore.
- 19:54Speaker 1: No more Paul from Boston ever. Ever, again, that's the
- 19:57Speaker 1: same call from yesterday. He's talking about some lists nobody
- 20:00Speaker 1: ever heard of. So no more Paul from Boston. You're done. Paul.
- 20:04Speaker 1: You can call, but we won't put you on the
- 20:06Speaker 1: air anymore. Yeah. So yeah, it's not even a Paul
- 20:13Speaker 1: from Boston. They just changed their voice. The problem is,
- 20:16Speaker 1: if you want to do that kind of stuff, you
- 20:19Speaker 1: got to get rid of the accent. You know, when
- 20:21Speaker 1: you got that accent, everybody can recognize your voice instantly.
- 20:25Speaker 1: You can't fool anybody. That's the problem. Hey, the super
- 20:28Speaker 1: Bowl is Sunday, so you might want to bear that
- 20:31Speaker 1: in mind. If you're going to a super Bowl party
- 20:33Speaker 1: or that kind of stuff, you're going to overeat like crazy,
- 20:36Speaker 1: you might want to plan ahead the very little eating
- 20:38Speaker 1: on Saturday. Eat real light Friday and Saturday. Get ready
- 20:42Speaker 1: for that. Hey, the Milania movie, the Milania documentary, it's
- 20:47Speaker 1: out there. It's in theaters. You can go see it.
- 20:49Speaker 1: You know, it's the number two film in America right now.
- 20:53Speaker 1: And if you read all the left wing fake news
- 20:55Speaker 1: media though, that's not doing well. It's a blow. What
- 20:57Speaker 1: it's about not reaching the number two film in America
- 21:03Speaker 1: right now. If you take the list of the top
- 21:05Speaker 1: grossing films, it's number two for the week, number two.
- 21:09Speaker 1: That's that's huge, huge for a documentary. It's made over
- 21:15Speaker 1: ten million dollars already. The only problem with it, there's
- 21:18Speaker 1: a theater in Oregon. You know, Oregon's like a left
- 21:21Speaker 1: wing kook kind of a place, so you know it's Amazon.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Amazon's behind the Milania movie. So it was playing in
- 21:28Speaker 1: a big theater and apparently the local employees at the theater,
- 21:33Speaker 1: remember they're all left wing kooks out there, put terrible
- 21:36Speaker 1: things on the marquee. It had the title to the film,
- 21:39Speaker 1: but then they put these insulting things about Milania on
- 21:42Speaker 1: the marquee next to the title. So Amazon has pulled
- 21:47Speaker 1: the film out of that theater. Now I think that's it.
- 21:52Speaker 1: I'll just pull the film and leave the theater alone.
- 21:54Speaker 1: But when you're a movie theater, you need to do
- 21:56Speaker 1: business with Amazon with a lot of films. So it's
- 21:59Speaker 1: a big mistake. You've seen this happen. We're local employees
- 22:03Speaker 1: go nuts. Remember that Hilton in Minnesota where they refuse
- 22:07Speaker 1: to allow ice agents to stay there even though they
- 22:09Speaker 1: had a reservation. They turned them away. Hilton fired the hotel,
- 22:14Speaker 1: they took their name off it. They you know, when
- 22:16Speaker 1: you become a build a nice hotel, you make a
- 22:19Speaker 1: deal with Hilton to put the name all over it,
- 22:21Speaker 1: promote it, run it, call it a Hilton. So Hilton
- 22:24Speaker 1: walked away from this local hotel. So now these guys
- 22:27Speaker 1: have a blank hotel with no name, no help from Hilton,
- 22:31Speaker 1: no use of Hilton's reservation services or anything. So it's
- 22:35Speaker 1: a mess for them. Hey, when we come back the
- 22:37Speaker 1: hunt for Steve Moore, we hope we'll be talking to
- 22:40Speaker 1: him next. Steve Moore coming up, the Great Economist. Lots
- 22:44Speaker 1: to talk to him about, and we'll do that in
- 22:46Speaker 1: just a second on seven to ten. Wor has the
- 22:50Speaker 1: Marks Alone show on seven ten Wor Well, it'll be
- 22:54Speaker 1: Great Economist Steve Moore. Of course Rita's columns, you see
- 22:58Speaker 1: them all over television. Make sure you get his book,
- 23:01Speaker 1: The Trump Economic Miracle. It's an important book. And also
- 23:05Speaker 1: he runs the committee to Unleash Prosperity. They put out
- 23:08Speaker 1: the best daily briefing, news analysis. It's free, it'll come
- 23:13Speaker 1: right to your email. Just go sign up. Go to
- 23:15Speaker 1: unleash prosperity dot com. Unleash prosperity dot com. Steve Moore,
- 23:20Speaker 1: how you doing, Mark?
- 23:23Speaker 4: I'm doing great. You know, the economy is doing well.
- 23:26Speaker 4: Everything's headed in a good direction. If we could get
- 23:30Speaker 4: rid of some of the high taxes in all these
- 23:33Speaker 4: blue states, because the red states are un great. But
- 23:36Speaker 4: every time I turn around, you've got another Democratic governor
- 23:39Speaker 4: who's talking about raising taxes.
- 23:41Speaker 1: Hey, will you explain the Super Bowls coming up? Seattle Seahawks.
- 23:44Speaker 1: This crazy governor there Seattle. He wants to put a
- 23:49Speaker 1: tax on the players, like an extra ten.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Is at just the time they're finally going to the
- 23:55Speaker 4: Super Bowl. I think this is their third Super Bowl
- 23:57Speaker 4: in what fifty years? And now they want to put
- 24:00Speaker 4: the tax on the team and the players. And so
- 24:03Speaker 4: how are you going to get all the good players
- 24:04Speaker 4: to come to Seattle if you're going to put an
- 24:06Speaker 4: income tax on their not just the Seattle players, but
- 24:11Speaker 4: when you know a player comes in from another team
- 24:14Speaker 4: and plays in Seattle, they'd have to pay the day
- 24:17Speaker 4: nine and a half percent income tax.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Is that even legal that you're just visiting to play
- 24:21Speaker 1: a game and you get taxed by a state?
- 24:23Speaker 4: It is legal, and in fact, there are other I
- 24:26Speaker 4: think New York does this by the way, I think
- 24:28Speaker 4: you know, when a player, you know, baseball player goes
- 24:30Speaker 4: and plays in the Yankees, they have to pay ten
- 24:33Speaker 4: percent income tax on the money that they earn in
- 24:36Speaker 4: New York, which I don't think should be legal, but
- 24:39Speaker 4: it is. But you know, here's the thing. Washington State
- 24:42Speaker 4: doesn't have income tax, so what they're talking about is
- 24:45Speaker 4: a discriminary tax just on the people who play sports
- 24:49Speaker 4: in Washington State. So you know what a sad commentary
- 24:54Speaker 4: right before their great moment where they're in the in
- 24:57Speaker 4: the super Bowl on Sunday.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Why would you even do that? Wouldn't that pretty much
- 25:00Speaker 1: pushed these Seahawks to move to another city?
- 25:03Speaker 4: Yes, yes, exactly right. You know, taxes have consequences, and
- 25:07Speaker 4: so you know, if you want to try to get
- 25:09Speaker 4: the top players, I don't think they're going to be
- 25:11Speaker 4: too you know, interested in going to Seattle if if
- 25:14Speaker 4: they pay a big tax every time they play a
- 25:16Speaker 4: game there.
- 25:17Speaker 1: So that means next year they'll be the Austin Seahawks.
- 25:20Speaker 4: So well, you know, Austin is the largest city, is
- 25:26Speaker 4: now one of the ten largest cities in America, which
- 25:29Speaker 4: is kind of amazing when you think about it. It
- 25:30Speaker 4: used to be a cowtown twenty five years ago.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Wow. So, as you said, the economy is doing well,
- 25:38Speaker 1: everything's but it doesn't always show up in the polling.
- 25:42Speaker 1: Fake news the media have convinced a lot of people
- 25:44Speaker 1: the economies in trouble. What can the president do for
- 25:47Speaker 1: better messaging?
- 25:49Speaker 4: Yeah, you know it's a problem there. We had something
- 25:51Speaker 4: in the hotline today and I hope all your listeners
- 25:54Speaker 4: get that. Just go to Leash Prosperity, a common sign
- 25:57Speaker 4: up for free and you get your every morning an
- 25:59Speaker 4: email to you. But the poles are bad, you know.
- 26:02Speaker 4: Fox News poll just came out saying, you know, Republicans
- 26:04Speaker 4: are as unpopular as they've been ever since they've done
- 26:08Speaker 4: the poll over the last twenty five years. And people
- 26:11Speaker 4: are just angry about you know, prices, and you know,
- 26:15Speaker 4: they they're still some you know, leftover resentment about what
- 26:19Speaker 4: happened in Minneapolis. But you know that if you look
- 26:21Speaker 4: at the economy, you look at the objective evidence it's
- 26:24Speaker 4: a moroven economy. Five percent growth. You know, the economy
- 26:27Speaker 4: has grown at four percent growth for the last for
- 26:30Speaker 4: the last you know, nine months. So you know, we've
- 26:35Speaker 4: got price the inflation rate is coming down. We got
- 26:38Speaker 4: an all time high on the NASDAC, the S and
- 26:40Speaker 4: P five hundred and the Dow Jones. People's four one
- 26:43Speaker 4: k plans are going up. Gas prices have followed by
- 26:45Speaker 4: a dollar gallon. I mean, it's a healthy economy that
- 26:48Speaker 4: people for some reason aren't dealing the love.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Tariffs are coming down, and I think the price the
- 26:53Speaker 1: cost of the tariff.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Yes, and people are getting a big discount on their
- 26:59Speaker 4: taxes because of the big beautiful bill. Republicans are just
- 27:02Speaker 4: bad salesmen. You know, They've got a great product. They
- 27:05Speaker 4: just know how to sell it.
- 27:07Speaker 1: Yeah, but what do you do when the fake news?
- 27:08Speaker 1: You know a lot of people they just see the
- 27:10Speaker 1: nightly news on the network, they read the newspaper and
- 27:13Speaker 1: they don't realize that they're getting the most slanted coverage.
- 27:16Speaker 1: How do you fight that?
- 27:19Speaker 4: You know, we have alternative media now and we have
- 27:22Speaker 4: other prices. People can get the news, and I think
- 27:25Speaker 4: Republicans just have a better way of getting that real
- 27:29Speaker 4: story out there. And look, you know, we've had a
- 27:32Speaker 4: biased media for a long long time, as you know, Mark,
- 27:36Speaker 4: I mean, you know, we thankfully we have shows like
- 27:38Speaker 4: yours to tell people the truth. But a lot of
- 27:41Speaker 4: people get it through the filter of you know, CNN
- 27:45Speaker 4: and MSNBC and the well New York Times, et cetera.
- 27:50Speaker 4: They don't report on the good news that's happening in
- 27:52Speaker 4: the economy. They just won't. So we should call it
- 27:55Speaker 4: they hate Trump media, you know, that's what we've got.
- 27:58Speaker 1: The TDS news. So right, so you said four percent growth,
- 28:05Speaker 1: it's possible will hit five percent growth, right, and this
- 28:08Speaker 1: could be a boomy at.
- 28:10Speaker 4: Our buddy Larry Cudler, our buddy Larry Kudler says, we're
- 28:12Speaker 4: going to get that. We'll see. We'll get a report
- 28:15Speaker 4: out sometime in the next week on what the fourth
- 28:17Speaker 4: quarter was, but the first of last year. But so
- 28:20Speaker 4: far this year, you know, things are doing very well too.
- 28:23Speaker 4: So I'm here to tell you things are going to
- 28:26Speaker 4: continue to get better, folks, And we've got an economy
- 28:28Speaker 4: that is Trumpmics is working. By the way, there's a
- 28:31Speaker 4: great book called Trumpics, yeah, by me and Laughers. So
- 28:39Speaker 4: If you want to know why the economy is really performing,
- 28:41Speaker 4: go to Unleashed font charity dot com and get our book.
- 28:45Speaker 4: But look, you know, we got the big beautiful tax bill.
- 28:47Speaker 4: We've got terrorists coming down, so that means prices are
- 28:50Speaker 4: going to come down. From that, We've got you know,
- 28:52Speaker 4: gas prices continue to fall all over the country. That's
- 28:56Speaker 4: like a tax cut. I just think this guy is
- 29:00Speaker 4: is hitting all the right buttons when it comes to
- 29:03Speaker 4: h the economy in terms of people are going to
- 29:06Speaker 4: get a bigger pay check this year because of the
- 29:09Speaker 4: big beautiful tax bill.
- 29:10Speaker 1: Yeah, and revenue is up. Is it possible?
- 29:13Speaker 4: Yeah? But definit is down? Definit is down? Budget?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Is it possible by the end of his term he
- 29:18Speaker 1: could balance the budget?
- 29:20Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's you know, I don't know, that's
- 29:22Speaker 4: a big mountain to climb. We're at one point eight
- 29:25Speaker 4: billion dollars annual budget deficit, so that would be quite
- 29:28Speaker 4: an achievement. But if anybody can do it, Donald Trump.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Because you know, one thing about that one of the
- 29:32Speaker 4: reasons in media, this is my hypothesis, why is the
- 29:35Speaker 4: media to hate Trump so much? Because he always proves
- 29:37Speaker 4: them wrong?
- 29:39Speaker 1: You know, So, Hey, Democrats Why are they still fighting
- 29:44Speaker 1: this voter ID thing? You need ID. Everywhere else in
- 29:47Speaker 1: the world, every other country has a voter ID. How
- 29:49Speaker 1: could they still fight this.
- 29:51Speaker 4: Because that's how they win elections because voter fraud is rampant,
- 29:57Speaker 4: especially in blue states and cities. By the way, we
- 29:59Speaker 4: have a pretty cute cartoon in our hotline this morning,
- 30:04Speaker 4: and it has you know, you know how people wear
- 30:06Speaker 4: those eye voted things, and it has the elephant looking
- 30:09Speaker 4: at the donkey, you know, be the donkey and the
- 30:11Speaker 4: Democrat and and the guy and the donkey has you know,
- 30:15Speaker 4: a jacket on and it has like twenty five I
- 30:17Speaker 4: voted and he goes, oh, no, I know you don't
- 30:22Speaker 4: want to voter ideas. So look, they they take advantage
- 30:26Speaker 4: of the system. And how many illegal lenivers do you
- 30:29Speaker 4: think are voting? They don't want honest elections because they
- 30:32Speaker 4: can't win honest elections. I believe, I really believe that.
- 30:35Speaker 1: Yeah. So and Kevin Warsh New fed Share pumped the
- 30:40Speaker 1: guy great, loves to be great.
- 30:43Speaker 4: He is a he is a Steve Moore, uh and
- 30:47Speaker 4: Art Laugher and Mark Simone free market supply sider.
- 30:51Speaker 1: Yeah, he'll be excellent. And it was a good choice
- 30:54Speaker 1: because the accusation that the president will pick someone too
- 30:58Speaker 1: close to him, a puppet, that's not Worsh. Worsh has
- 31:01Speaker 1: been pretty independent.
- 31:02Speaker 4: And you know what, Worsh, he's going to be independent,
- 31:05Speaker 4: and he is you know what he's going to do.
- 31:06Speaker 4: He's going to bring inflation down to the two percent target,
- 31:09Speaker 4: which is the best thing he could possibly do for Trump.
- 31:12Speaker 4: And he is going to maintain America's dominance as the
- 31:16Speaker 4: world reserve currency. And that's such an advamage mark that
- 31:19Speaker 4: we have over the rest of the world. Everybody around
- 31:21Speaker 4: the world they trade in dollars. If it's anything international's
- 31:26Speaker 4: all done in dollars. And that's a big advantage to
- 31:29Speaker 4: all of us as Americans. It makes our dollar worth
- 31:32Speaker 4: more and it makes America the number one globally dominant country.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so Worsh takes over in a couple months, So
- 31:39Speaker 1: how soon can he make that rate change? Sorry, when
- 31:44Speaker 1: Worsh takes over a couple months, how long before he
- 31:46Speaker 1: can change lower the rate?
- 31:48Speaker 4: Oh? Well, you know what I want him to do.
- 31:50Speaker 4: You talk about lowering rates, what I want. What I
- 31:52Speaker 4: want him to do is clean house over there at
- 31:55Speaker 4: the Federal Reserve war. It's the most corrupt place. And
- 31:58Speaker 4: as we said in the Federal Reserve Board, you know,
- 32:00Speaker 4: do they really need three thousand people in Washington running
- 32:03Speaker 4: the monetary system. I mean, come on, they could do
- 32:05Speaker 4: it with three hundred. So you know, and by the way,
- 32:08Speaker 4: that all those people are against as you know, they're
- 32:10Speaker 4: all against Kevin worsh So I've been urging him to
- 32:13Speaker 4: clean house when he gets there, and I think that's
- 32:15Speaker 4: exactly what he's going to do.
- 32:17Speaker 1: Very good idea. Hey, everybody get Steve Moore's book. The
- 32:20Speaker 1: latest book is The Trump Trump Economic Miracle and the
- 32:24Speaker 1: other book Trump Trump and Nomics. Get these two books. Also,

- 33:26Speaker 1: he'll be with us. He'll be our guest here in
- 33:29Speaker 1: the next hour, coming up on seven ten wor.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Now more marks alone on sevent tenor.
- 33:40Speaker 1: Well, Hey, it's getting a little better garbage wise. As
- 33:44Speaker 1: I mentioned just there out there on that side of
- 33:47Speaker 1: the building fifty sixth Street, all the garbage has been
- 33:49Speaker 1: picked up, mountains and mountains of it for days. It's
- 33:53Speaker 1: all gone. It all got picked up yesterday last night.
- 33:56Speaker 1: That's good news. Hopefully this continues. Hey. You know, so
- 34:00Speaker 1: all that fraud in Minnesota, they discovered about nineteen billion
- 34:05Speaker 1: in fraud, those fake daycare centers, all that stuff. Now,
- 34:09Speaker 1: you can always count on the real network News, Big News,
- 34:14Speaker 1: New York Times, Washington Posts, the big networks. You can
- 34:17Speaker 1: always count on them. Not to cover news, especially if
- 34:21Speaker 1: it makes Democrats look bad. Literally literally hide half the
- 34:25Speaker 1: news from you if it doesn't fit the narrative, so
- 34:28Speaker 1: they refuse to cover the story. They won't even look
- 34:31Speaker 1: at it. And you got this kid, this twenty three
- 34:34Speaker 1: year old or whatever he is, Nick Shirley, with his
- 34:37Speaker 1: video camera, who went out there and discovered all this
- 34:39Speaker 1: and exposed all this in Minnesota. I mean this kid
- 34:43Speaker 1: this Remember Woodward and Bernstein were very old, experienced, veteran
- 34:48Speaker 1: reporters backed by the enormous Washington Post. This is just
- 34:51Speaker 1: a kid with a camera who uncovered all this stuff
- 34:54Speaker 1: when big News refused to do it and broke this
- 35:00Speaker 1: whole story. Well, he's in California now. He's arrived in
- 35:02Speaker 1: California a few days ago. He's going to start doing
- 35:05Speaker 1: it there. It's believed that it could be ten times
- 35:08Speaker 1: as much fraud in California. It'll be unbelievable. If he
