Welcome to Natey's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
January 9th, 2025. And jeez, I mean, this is
• 0:27
classic Wizards on me. They disappoint me by
• 0:31
disappointing me, but not disappointing me enough.
• 0:35
I mean, I was going to trust them.
• 0:38
And then I realized and remembered I can't trust them.
• 0:41
But then I watch the game and I still get my heart broken
• 0:45
because they lose. And then even worse, my wallet
• 0:47
gets broken because they don't lose.
• 0:49
By enough. I mean, that was like a double,
• 0:51
like just kicking the nads. This is what I get, man.
• 0:56
Just stay away. Just stay away, Nate.
• 0:58
All right, so tonight we got the big football games.
• 1:02
Well, just one game tonight. And then tomorrow night it's
• 1:04
another game. And then we got more games on
• 1:06
Saturday. It's really a glorious just from
• 1:09
here to Monday football. Good football, football that
• 1:13
matters the next 5 days. But tonight we got Penn State
• 1:17
taking on Notre Dame and I'm on Penn State tonight.
• 1:22
I like Penn State. This line is everywhere from
• 1:26
pick em to Penn State. 1 1/2 + 1 1/2 that is, and I like that.
• 1:31
If I can get myself Penn State at plus 1 1/2, I'm going to do
• 1:34
  that. You should do that.
• 1:36
Don't just play that pick em. Go out there, find yourself plus
• 1:40
  1 1/2. It's possible.
• 1:42
Lots of places have it there, so that's what I'm doing.
• 1:44
So we're going Penn State plus 1 1/2 against Notre Dame in
• 1:49
tonight's NCAA men's college Orange Bowl semifinal football
• 1:55
action. See anything better than that?
• 1:57
Pound it. That's my pick, and I'm sticking
• 1:59
to it. Oh, and there's just a few more
• 2:01
days left to vote for us at the Sports Podcast Awards, so you'll
• 2:06
only hear me beg for your vote a few more times.
• 2:09
But please go over there. Give us a little vote, please.
• 2:14
We're up against a bunch of heavyweights.
• 2:15
I know I'm not going to win, but, you know, let them know
• 2:18
that somebody listens and that somebody's willing to vote for
• 2:21
  us. Thank you.
