- 0:04Speaker 1: one WASH that Why.
- 0:05Speaker 2: Are you feeling good on this Thursday morning? It's probably
- 0:08Speaker 2: not because of the traffic that you're going to see
- 0:10Speaker 2: down around the White House. They've got that UFC thing
- 0:14Speaker 2: going on this weekend, ninety seven point one wash FM,
- 0:17Speaker 2: and I swear I got bombarded with notifications in my
- 0:21Speaker 2: email and stuff telling me that the roads were going
- 0:24Speaker 2: to be closed around the Capitol because of this. So
- 0:27Speaker 2: if your travels are going to take you downtown, be
- 0:29Speaker 2: patient and you've been warned. Okay, it should.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Let's let's keep the sports them going.
- 0:34Speaker 2: Yes.
- 0:35Speaker 3: I also want to say that today is the first
- 0:36Speaker 3: day of our World Cup listed by the United States.
- 0:39Speaker 3: And if I'm not mistaken, and I could be, I
- 0:41Speaker 3: think the first games at like three this afternoon?
- 0:44Speaker 2: Is it really?
- 0:45Speaker 3: I think?
- 0:46Speaker 2: Wow?
- 0:47Speaker 3: We'll go to check that.
- 0:48Speaker 2: The world is a fan of football otherwise known as soccer.
- 0:52Speaker 3: The world is.
- 0:53Speaker 2: That's right, the world is.
- 0:55Speaker 3: We will be fans if USA team USA goes the distance,
- 0:58Speaker 3: we will suddenly all become that's right. Why are you
- 1:02Speaker 3: feeling good?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Feeling great? Today? Because I scored an invite to the
- 1:05Speaker 2: toy Story five premiere Downtown. It's one of those things
- 1:11Speaker 2: that is cool about d C because you know, they
- 1:13Speaker 2: like to show these things to the congressional types and
- 1:16Speaker 2: whatnot a little bit early before everybody else.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Well, you know what, it's Toy Story five. So I
- 1:21Speaker 2: might be dragging a bit tomorrow, but it's because I
- 1:24Speaker 2: spent time with Woody and Buzz and the Slinky Dog
- 1:27Speaker 2: and bo Peep too.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Wow, you know the one in La or wherever they
- 1:31Speaker 3: had the premiere, Taylor Swift saying the song live. I
- 1:34Speaker 3: don't know the Taylor is going to be making an
- 1:35Speaker 3: appearance in d C. Probably still, it'll still be cool. Well,
- 1:41Speaker 3: if you go see it, then we look forward to
- 1:43Speaker 3: your review.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I know if it's a big if, because you know,
- 1:46Speaker 2: I do get tired easily, and we get up early
- 1:49Speaker 2: in the morning.
- 1:49Speaker 3: For the next few hours, you may be changing your mind.
- 1:52Speaker 2: I reserve the right to throw the invitation back at
- 1:55Speaker 2: them and be like, yeah, guys, I've got school tomorrow,
- 1:58Speaker 2: And why are you feeling good? Yeah? The World Cup?
- 2:02Speaker 2: The World Cup? All right, there you go, Why are

- 2:10Speaker 2: your joy with the class because it's contagious. In the meantime,
- 2:13Speaker 2: stay there for the news with ninety seven point one
- 2:15Speaker 2: watch FM Top stories at the top of the hour.
- 2:18Speaker 2: On the way, what are you working on?
- 2:19Speaker 3: A recent study revealed the age where all of our
- 2:23Speaker 3: physical fitness starts to decline, and I'll share what that
- 2:27Speaker 3: is coming up.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Top Stories top of the Hour.
- 2:33Speaker 3: The US launched a new round of air strikes on
- 2:36Speaker 3: Iran overnight, and Iran fired back with strikes on Bahrain,
- 2:40Speaker 3: Kuwait and Jordan, which is a third exchange of fire
- 2:43Speaker 3: this week despite a ceasefire that's been in place for
- 2:46Speaker 3: two months. Well, the Knicks erased a twenty nine point
- 2:50Speaker 3: deficit to stun San Antonio one oh seven to one
- 2:54Speaker 3: oh six in Game four, which was the largest comeback
- 2:57Speaker 3: in NBA Finals history. New York now leads three to
- 3:00Speaker 3: one and is one win away from its first title
- 3:04Speaker 3: since nineteen seventy three. Game five is Saturday. In San Antonio.
- 3:09Speaker 3: A man was shot in an apparent road rage incident
- 3:12Speaker 3: on the BW Parkway near Arundel Mills early yesterday morning,
- 3:15Speaker 3: and a twenty one year old Prince George's County man
- 3:18Speaker 3: has been charged with attempted murder. The victim was able
- 3:21Speaker 3: to drive himself to a nearby hospital. More than twenty
- 3:25Speaker 3: two thousand Marylanders have added a butterfly logo to their
- 3:29Speaker 3: driver's license or ID to alert first responders to a
- 3:33Speaker 3: hidden disability. This all comes thanks to a law that
- 3:36Speaker 3: was championed by a twenty one year old autistic Montgomery
- 3:40Speaker 3: County man. Copperhead season apparently starting earlier than usual in
- 3:45Speaker 3: northern Virginia, with one wildlife firm already removing about twenty
- 3:50Speaker 3: of the venomous snakes, mostly in Fairfax and Prince Willham Counties,
- 3:54Speaker 3: and they say this is likely due to this year's
- 3:57Speaker 3: temperature swings and finally, wording to a recent study, physical
- 4:01Speaker 3: fitness starts to decline around age thirty five, with strength
- 4:05Speaker 3: and fitness dropping thirty to forty eight percent by age
- 4:10Speaker 3: sixty three, but staying active can slow that significantly, and
- 4:14Speaker 3: even start exercising later in life can improve capacity by
- 4:19Speaker 3: five to ten percent. Forecast today partly cloudy and very hot,
- 4:23Speaker 3: isolated showers this afternoon. Highs around ninety five right now
- 4:28Speaker 3: seventy five in Arlington.
- 4:30Speaker 2: There's the news. Remember you get stop stories at the
- 4:32Speaker 2: top of the hour when you wake up with us,
- 4:34Speaker 2: Toby and Chilly in the morning. This is ninety seven
- 4:36Speaker 2: point one Watch FM. Next, how you doing, how's your headspace? Well,
- 4:41Speaker 2: we'll talk about you and share something with you that
- 4:44Speaker 2: we think might help at your morning mindset. It's on
- 4:46Speaker 2: the way in minutes, words that we hope will inspire
- 4:49Speaker 2: you to get up, get out of bed, or if
- 4:51Speaker 2: you're already on your way to wherever work is today
- 4:54Speaker 2: or where life is taking you today, hopefully it'll help
- 4:57Speaker 2: you to find a little extra something to make your
- 5:00Speaker 2: day happen. That is next. Stay with us, won't you please?
- 5:05Speaker 2: Washington's variety from the eighties, nineties, and today on this Thursday,
- 5:09Speaker 2: it's ninety seven point one wash FM. Thanks for waking
- 5:12Speaker 2: up Antoby and Chilly in the morning. Do you mind,
- 5:14Speaker 2: really quickly if we talk for a second about.
- 5:16Speaker 3: You, specifically your headspace. We want to get you into
- 5:19Speaker 3: a good morning mindset.
- 5:22Speaker 2: With a quote, the author CS. Lewis writes, there are
- 5:25Speaker 2: far better things ahead than any we leave behind. There
- 5:30Speaker 2: are far better things ahead than any we leave behind.
- 5:33Speaker 2: This is so important because the best chapters of your
- 5:36Speaker 2: life might still be unwritten and even if you think
- 5:39Speaker 2: they have been written, I guarantee you there's something else
- 5:42Speaker 2: to write. There's always a new chapter. You decide when
- 5:47Speaker 2: you're done right, But keep in mind that there are
- 5:51Speaker 2: far better things ahead, no matter where you might be
- 5:54Speaker 2: in life, than any that you've left behind. C. S.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Lewis with a very powerful morning mindset on this Thursday.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Please keep that in mind as you go through what
- 6:04Speaker 2: you go through today, and if you need it again
- 6:06Speaker 2: find it. You can go to the Toby and CHILIPAGEWATCHEFM
- 6:09Speaker 2: dot com, check us out on Insta and all of
- 6:11Speaker 2: the things, and you can watch, listen, share. We thank
- 6:16Speaker 2: you in advance for it, and by the way, don't
- 6:18Speaker 2: be afraid to share something that gives you a little
- 6:21Speaker 2: motivation with us with Toby and Chilly in the morning.
- 6:24Speaker 2: Stay right there.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Next, this is the most random conversation we're gonna have.
- 6:29Speaker 3: H Do you know what that little tiny pocket is
- 6:31Speaker 3: on the right side of your genes?
- 6:33Speaker 5: Um?
- 6:34Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, okay, Well, we're gonna tell you what people
- 6:37Speaker 3: in modern day kind of use that tiny pocket, and
- 6:40Speaker 3: then why it was originally even made. And when we
- 6:42Speaker 3: tell you the history of it, you're going to wonder
- 6:44Speaker 3: why they still design it that way.
- 6:47Speaker 2: It's time to learn something new with Toby and Chilly
- 6:50Speaker 2: in the Morning ninety seven point one was CHEFM. Does
- 6:53Speaker 2: anyone actually use the tiny pocket inside the right pocket
- 6:58Speaker 2: of your genes? You know, that little small pocket? If
- 7:02Speaker 2: you do, what do you use it for?
- 7:07Speaker 3: Do you use that?
- 7:08Speaker 2: It's annoying to use it. I don't really because I
- 7:12Speaker 2: feel it when I have something in there, like air
- 7:14Speaker 2: pods or whatever, and I worry that they're going to
- 7:17Speaker 2: fall out, So it's more of an annoyance to me.
- 7:20Speaker 3: Not deep enough. Some of the modern day uses are,
- 7:23Speaker 3: like I guess for quarter, Like when I go to Aldi,
- 7:26Speaker 3: I do put my quarter in there.
- 7:27Speaker 2: That's right to have if I'm wearing jeans, right, because
- 7:29Speaker 2: you need the cart, you know.
- 7:32Speaker 3: According to this thing on the internet, they also use
- 7:34Speaker 3: it for like things like chopstick. See I don't think
- 7:36Speaker 3: it's deep enough for chopstick. And it would poke you.
- 7:38Speaker 2: It would poke you, That's what I'm talking about.
- 7:41Speaker 3: I'm not a big fan of that. But historically, and
- 7:44Speaker 3: I feel like you knowing how you go down rabbit holes,
- 7:48Speaker 3: you know the history of that little pocket.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I remember watching something on YouTube about it. I know
- 7:53Speaker 2: that it has something to do with cowboys back in
- 7:55Speaker 2: the day when Levi Strauss first invented the idea of
- 7:58Speaker 2: the blue jeans.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Okay, so you're right. It did have to do with
- 8:02Speaker 3: Levi's and it was back in the eighteen hundred. It's
- 8:04Speaker 3: eighteen seventy three, wow, And the cowboys are a part
- 8:08Speaker 3: of it. But what they used it for were pocket watches.
- 8:14Speaker 3: Oh well, because they needed a safe place to secure it,
- 8:19Speaker 3: for it to sit still.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Yeah, but that pocket's not secure it all.
- 8:23Speaker 3: The pocket It was literally if you look at a
- 8:26Speaker 3: pocket watch, there's circumference of it. It slips in snugly.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Snugly is that a word? Very snugly? And then you
- 8:32Speaker 3: could also have a chain that goes to like one
- 8:34Speaker 3: of your loops or something. But anyway, that was the
- 8:37Speaker 3: original purpose of it. Clearly in modern day we don't
- 8:41Speaker 3: use pocket watches, and I'm fascinated that the design has
- 8:46Speaker 3: not changed for the classic blue gene.
- 8:49Speaker 2: How do you know all this stuff? You say, I
- 8:50Speaker 2: go down rabbit holes. It sounds to me like you
- 8:53Speaker 2: read the history of Levi Straussen company and then you
- 8:55Speaker 2: look at the blueprint prints and whatever.
- 8:57Speaker 3: Is to I looked at Google, Toby. That's all it
- 9:01Speaker 3: really took for me to find the answer Google YouTube.
- 9:04Speaker 2: They're all the same anyway, we all learn something that's right.
- 9:07Speaker 2: The more you know, and knowing is half the battle.
- 9:10Speaker 2: It's ninety seven point one WASHEFM Top Stories at the
- 9:13Speaker 2: top of the hour, coming up next. What are you
- 9:15Speaker 2: working on this morning?
- 9:16Speaker 3: When it comes to comparing store brand versus name brand prices,
- 9:21Speaker 3: there's one major retailer that offers the biggest savings and
- 9:25Speaker 3: I'll share which one it is.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Coming up ninety seven point one WASHFM, Toby and Chilly
- 9:31Speaker 2: in the morning. America turning two hundred and fifty years
- 9:36Speaker 2: old and we're celebrating with a pile of two hundred
- 9:40Speaker 2: and fifty thousand dollars cash.
- 9:42Speaker 3: You can take your twenty five hundred dollars share and
- 9:45Speaker 3: hit the road to celebrate the country this summer. It's
- 9:48Speaker 3: a keyword coming up right around eight to ten this
- 9:51Speaker 3: morning to enter at waschefm dot com.
- 9:53Speaker 2: And when you get that keyword and you enter it,
- 9:55Speaker 2: make sure you answer your phone, which could be us
- 9:57Speaker 2: calling you to say here is your twenty five hundred.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Dollars Ninety seven point one WASHFM, Washington.
- 10:06Speaker 4: An iHeartRadio station. Coming up on Top Stories, Top of
- 10:09Speaker 4: the Hour.
- 10:10Speaker 3: The Knicks pulled off the biggest comeback in Finals history
- 10:14Speaker 3: yesterday for their win. I've got all the details on
- 10:17Speaker 3: that story and more on the way with Toby and
- 10:20Speaker 3: Chile in the morning on ninety seven point one wash FF.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Top Stories, Top of the Hour.
- 10:28Speaker 3: The New York Knicks erased a twenty nine point deficit
- 10:31Speaker 3: to beat the San Antonio Spurs in Game four, which
- 10:33Speaker 3: was the biggest comeback in Finals history. Now they just
- 10:36Speaker 3: need one more win for their first title since nineteen
- 10:40Speaker 3: seventy three. Game five is Saturday in San Antonio. The
- 10:45Speaker 3: President says Iran has reached out asking him to stop
- 10:49Speaker 3: the bombing campaign. He said that he spoke directly with
- 10:51Speaker 3: top Iranian officials after the latest strikes and warned that
- 10:55Speaker 3: attacks will continue today if Iran does not agree to
- 10:59Speaker 3: a Louden County School Superintendent Doctor Aaron Spence faced tough
- 11:05Speaker 3: questions on Capitol Hill yesterday at a House hearing on
- 11:08Speaker 3: Parental Rights and School Policies. LCPS is under federal investigation
- 11:13Speaker 3: over its policy allowing students to use bathrooms that align
- 11:17Speaker 3: with their gender identity. DC Water is kicking off emergency
- 11:22Speaker 3: repairs Monday on a deteriorating section of the Potomac Interceptor
- 11:26Speaker 3: sewer line in Potomac, which could threaten drinking water supplies,
- 11:30Speaker 3: and work is expected to run through September. While the
- 11:34Speaker 3: old Post Office Pavilion building in DC has now been
- 11:37Speaker 3: sold to its current leaseholder for reported eighty million dollars
- 11:42Speaker 3: and they're reportedly already fielding resale offers up to four
- 11:46Speaker 3: hundred million dollars for the one hundred twenty seven year
- 11:48Speaker 3: old building, which is now a Waldorf Astoria. And a
- 11:53Speaker 3: new study comparing store brand versus name brand prices a
- 11:56Speaker 3: major retailers found that Walmart offers the big savings. Store
- 12:01Speaker 3: brand sports drinks run seventy four percent cheaper than the
- 12:05Speaker 3: name brand ones, and then their fruit loop styles Cereal
- 12:09Speaker 3: comes in at sixty nine percent less. Forecast for today,
- 12:13Speaker 3: Party Claude's sky, It's going to be hot, chance of
- 12:15Speaker 3: isolated showers this afternoon. Highs around ninety five right now
- 12:20Speaker 3: seventy five in Beltsville.
- 12:21Speaker 2: Don't forget to get the news. Top stories at the
- 12:23Speaker 2: top of the hour with Toby and Chilly in the morning.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Ninety seven point one Wash FM on a Thursday. Next, Well,
- 12:30Speaker 2: it's summer. College grads who are getting done are looking
- 12:33Speaker 2: for gigs. Maybe the internship didn't become a full time job,
- 12:37Speaker 2: and you're trying, what do you do or what maybe
- 12:41Speaker 2: did you do to stand out when you were applying
- 12:43Speaker 2: for a job after college. What do you do to
- 12:46Speaker 2: stand out when you're applying for a job even years
- 12:49Speaker 2: later after college. Let's talk about it coming up next,
- 12:52Speaker 2: if you want to join the conversation, it's eight sixty
- 12:54Speaker 2: six nine two seven forty three sixty one. I know
- 12:57Speaker 2: summer's here, but forget about summer jobs. Toby and Jillian
- 13:00Speaker 2: in the morning, it's ninety seven point one. Watch them.
- 13:02Speaker 2: There's a whole slew of college graduates, gosh, who are
- 13:06Speaker 2: now entering the workforce, who are looking to try to
- 13:09Speaker 2: land that first job, and then in a few months
- 13:12Speaker 2: we'll start paying back their student loans. Omg. Welcome to life,
- 13:15Speaker 2: Welcome to reality. It's called adulting.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Man, it is tough to stand out. You've got all
- 13:20Speaker 3: these people going for the same types of jobs. And
- 13:24Speaker 3: back in our day when we had physical resumes, Toby,
- 13:27Speaker 3: you know, they would get creative with either what the
- 13:33Speaker 3: resume physically look like or how they delivered the resume
- 13:36Speaker 3: right to a potential employer. Now people are applying online.
- 13:41Speaker 3: It's all digital. There's really very little human component. It's
- 13:45Speaker 3: just harder to kind of cut through and get someone's attention.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Yeah. Gone of the days when you could get an
- 13:51Speaker 2: interview by sending somebody your resume with Georgetown cupcakes or
- 13:55Speaker 2: a pizza.
- 13:56Speaker 3: You could try.
- 13:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you just have to find that first.
- 13:59Speaker 3: You got to find out who descended to and I
- 14:01Speaker 3: don't know if that person's even in an office anymore.
- 14:04Speaker 2: And that's one of the reasons why you need to
- 14:06Speaker 2: take doing an internship in college serious. That's true. You know,
- 14:09Speaker 2: I my daughter did not, and I didn't push her.
- 14:12Speaker 2: I didn't crack the whipon. I probably should have, but
- 14:15Speaker 2: then she would have just said no. Anyway. However, had
- 14:18Speaker 2: she done an internship right, she would have had formed
- 14:21Speaker 2: connections inside the industry season with creative writing. She would
- 14:25Speaker 2: have gotten some experience hands on, even if it wasn't
- 14:28Speaker 2: great experience. It's the attitude you bring as an intern
- 14:31Speaker 2: that ultimately becomes somebody saying to someone who's hiring, we
- 14:36Speaker 2: like this person, and.
- 14:37Speaker 3: I feel like every year we'll recome across the story
- 14:39Speaker 3: in some small town in America where somebody paid for
- 14:43Speaker 3: a billboard with their face on it and saying, Hey,
- 14:45Speaker 3: anyone looking to hire, I'm looking for a gig.
- 14:48Speaker 2: I don't know where they found the money for that.
- 14:50Speaker 2: If they're looking for a gig, how are you going
- 14:52Speaker 2: to afford a billboard?
- 14:53Speaker 5: Oh?
- 14:54Speaker 2: Goodness? But you know interesting stuff. So have you done
- 14:56Speaker 2: anything to stand out when it comes to the job hunt.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Maybe you were in college, a graduate and you did
- 15:02Speaker 2: something that landed you an interview that turned into a job.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Or maybe you were just recently doged.
- 15:07Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. Or maybe you were a hiring person
- 15:10Speaker 3: and somebody stood out. What is it they did? Yeah,
- 15:13Speaker 3: that made you go, Okay, you're hired.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Eight sixty six, ninety two, seven forty three sixty. You
- 15:18Speaker 2: want to jump into the conversation or tap the talk
- 15:20Speaker 2: back microphone if it's easier for you. If you signed
- 15:22Speaker 2: in listening to us, leave us a voice note. We're
- 15:24Speaker 2: talking about it this morning, and you have a seat
- 15:27Speaker 2: at the table. Thank you for choosing Toby and Chilly
- 15:31Speaker 2: in the Morning on ninety seven point one. Watch FM
- 15:33Speaker 2: Washington's Variety of the eighties nineties and today, what have
- 15:37Speaker 2: you done to stand out when it comes to getting
- 15:39Speaker 2: a job interview? These days, you've got to do something.
- 15:43Speaker 2: No somebody Chilly and I we were talking about this
- 15:45Speaker 2: a little bit ago, and it really has become a
- 15:48Speaker 2: new world when it comes to looking for a new job.
- 15:51Speaker 3: So we were just wondering, whether it was in the
- 15:53Speaker 3: past or even more recently, what is something you or
- 15:56Speaker 3: someone you know did that helped them stand out as
- 15:59Speaker 3: a job applicant.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Good morning and buie Lauren. Was it you looking for
- 16:04Speaker 2: a job or was it somebody else?
- 16:06Speaker 5: Me doing the hiring?
- 16:08Speaker 2: At the motel I worked.
- 16:09Speaker 5: At, and a lady came in dressed like it was
- 16:14Speaker 5: the most exquisite job ever. She had a fully type
- 16:18Speaker 5: of resume in a folder that had her name on it.
- 16:22Speaker 5: She like craft in the folder to the perfect.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Well, when you're talking about the hospitality industry, I think
- 16:29Speaker 3: that's great presentation.
- 16:31Speaker 5: It was for a job as a half keeper.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Well that'll make you stand out.
- 16:36Speaker 5: I thought to myself. You know, you don't have to
- 16:39Speaker 5: dress up for a job like this, but you're gonna
- 16:42Speaker 5: get dirty. She went out in her car, grabbed a
- 16:46Speaker 5: bag and changed into a pair of sweats and a
- 16:49Speaker 5: sweatshirt and started work.
- 16:50Speaker 2: I think there's something to be said about that.
- 16:52Speaker 3: I mean, it sounds like the tactic worked right because
- 16:54Speaker 3: she ended up getting the job.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Lauren, thank you for calling to tell us all about
- 16:58Speaker 2: this person that you hired and how they it out. Now,
- 17:01Speaker 2: Sarah and Annapolis crossing the Bay Bridge, Good morning. What
- 17:05Speaker 2: went down?
- 17:06Speaker 6: When I was in high school and they always said

- 17:34Speaker 6: should I lie or should I tell the truth and
- 17:36Speaker 6: tell her that it was my resume? But I told
- 17:38Speaker 6: the truth and I ended up getting hired anyway.
- 17:40Speaker 3: See, honesty really is the best policy.

- 22:36Speaker 3: I don't know. They keep getting stuck and malfunctioning. We're

- 22:41Speaker 2: Toby, A chilly in the morning. It is ninety seven
- 22:43Speaker 2: point one wash FM. What's going on with these roller coasters?
- 22:47Speaker 2: You saw the story about the one in Galveston, Texas
- 22:50Speaker 2: where people got stuck, and then flash forward to this week.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Where two times this happened. At Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio,
- 23:00Speaker 3: roller coaster got stuck. So in the vertical position, there's
- 23:03Speaker 3: this thing called the Siren's Curse and right before it
- 23:06Speaker 3: drops straight down, it froze.
- 23:09Speaker 2: Right up at the top, very top, with all those
- 23:11Speaker 2: people strapped down.
- 23:12Speaker 3: And think about the anticipation, Toby, like they're already kind
- 23:15Speaker 3: of like holding their breaths for the drop, but it
- 23:17Speaker 3: doesn't come, and then it just stops and it doesn't
- 23:20Speaker 3: come and it doesn't probably be freaking out.
- 23:24Speaker 2: I wouldn't.
- 23:25Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 23:26Speaker 2: For a minute, I'd think it was a degree of exhilaration,
- 23:29Speaker 2: but then I would realize we were stuck, and then
- 23:31Speaker 2: I'd be like, Okay, now things are going to get interesting.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Of all the positions, though, to be stuck in, I
- 23:35Speaker 3: would rather be stuck like the ones in Sandusky at
- 23:38Speaker 3: the Cedar point, looking straight down like that, like seated,
- 23:41Speaker 3: as opposed to ever being stuck in an upside down position. Yeah,
- 23:44Speaker 3: knocking upside down, the blood rushing to your.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Head, nothing but sky up there.
- 23:49Speaker 3: I would pass out. No, I would literally I think
- 23:51Speaker 3: I would pass out from all the blood coming to
- 23:52Speaker 3: my head. That would be a thing I would get. No,
- 23:55Speaker 3: I know that would not be okay. And it's these
- 23:58Speaker 3: very frequent incidents. It seems maybe they're just being reported more.
- 24:01Speaker 3: That makes me question whether I want to go on
- 24:03Speaker 3: any of these roller coasters.
- 24:05Speaker 2: You can't let a couple of stories ruin the entire
- 24:08Speaker 2: experience for you, And for the love of God, don't
- 24:11Speaker 2: tell your son that because well he might like riding
- 24:14Speaker 2: those thrilling roller coasters.
- 24:15Speaker 3: No, he's not at a He really doesn't care, really really, no,
- 24:18Speaker 3: he doesn't like the way it feels his tummy feels
- 24:21Speaker 3: when we do the drops. I love drops and I
- 24:23Speaker 3: love roller coasters me too.
- 24:25Speaker 2: That's your tummy feeling. What's called gravity and the fact
- 24:27Speaker 2: that it goes bye bye for a split second.
- 24:29Speaker 3: And maybe it's not fair, but I will tell you
- 24:32Speaker 3: I wouldn't ride anything crazy at like a fair, so
- 24:36Speaker 3: to speak, something that's been built overnight.
- 24:38Speaker 2: Right, you know what I say? Hersey Park, Yes, a
- 24:43Speaker 2: county town state super fair. Probably not so much.
- 24:48Speaker 3: That's a little bit different. Okay, have you ever been
