- 0:25Speaker 2: supposed to do that.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I'm sorry Junior's poem earlier said she was twenty one.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Just go with that twenty one. I'm on twenty one,
- 0:34Speaker 2: ask whom age time, But we're not gonna do that.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 0:37Speaker 2: We're not gonna have but we're not gonna go with
- 0:39Speaker 2: twenty one. So jun you have a question for Steve.
- 0:45Speaker 3: Detect people come the time and ask me what do
- 0:48Speaker 3: you like?
- 0:49Speaker 2: What is what is he?
- 0:49Speaker 3: What's Steve really like? Is he really that way? Is
- 0:52Speaker 3: he really that way?
- 0:53Speaker 2: Really think?
- 0:53Speaker 3: Because you're so successful, can you not be successful like
- 0:56Speaker 3: you are and still remain the same with our people
- 0:58Speaker 3: thinking you've changed so much? You really are this way?
- 1:02Speaker 3: You really do believe in God, you really do pray,
- 1:04Speaker 3: you do you practice everything that you preach.
- 1:06Speaker 4: I have to, but you know, I mean, see what
- 1:11Speaker 4: I found about success is it's usually not the person
- 1:16Speaker 4: who changes, but the people around him. Perception changes also.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Now you thank you? You know how many times I've
- 1:27Speaker 4: heard that? Oh so now you thank you all that? No, dog,
- 1:32Speaker 4: what's the matter because here's the one you know. Ah,
- 1:37Speaker 4: So you can't come around hang out no more. No,
- 1:40Speaker 4: I can't dog because of what y'all do when y'all
- 1:44Speaker 4: hang out. I can't be over there. I have a
- 1:48Speaker 4: brand I have to protect. Y'all ain't on brand. Ah,
- 1:52Speaker 4: So you ain't gonna keep it real no more. No,
- 1:54Speaker 4: I had to keep it moving, stop letting people. If
- 2:01Speaker 4: you're going to become successful, what you can't do is
- 2:04Speaker 4: let people hold you to your past. That you cannot do.
- 2:09Speaker 4: But that goes for success, forgiveness or anything. If you're
- 2:14Speaker 4: trying to better yourself. Let's just forget fame and riches.
- 2:18Speaker 4: Let's just say you're trying to better yourself become a
- 2:22Speaker 4: better person, and you start making different decisions to make
- 2:25Speaker 4: you a better person, and then you run up into
- 2:28Speaker 4: somebody from your past or you don't drink no more? Hunt, Nah,
- 2:31Speaker 4: I don't. Ah, so now you think you too good
- 2:35Speaker 4: to drink with us? Now, bro, I just don't want
- 2:37Speaker 4: to drink anymore because it was slow in my progress.
- 2:42Speaker 2: So now you think you too good? Hey, bro, bro,
- 2:46Speaker 2: listen to me.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I've just made a decision for myself to do better,
- 2:50Speaker 4: to be better. And it's okay to make those kinds
- 2:53Speaker 4: of decisions. But you got to disassociate with yourself with
- 2:57Speaker 4: people who hold you to your who won't let you grow,
- 3:03Speaker 4: who won't let you forget, who's not going to forgive you. Oh,
- 3:08Speaker 4: now you on the radio trying to motivate people. I
- 3:12Speaker 4: remember when you weren't nothing.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I do too. I do too, but I sure wanted
- 3:17Speaker 2: to be something.
- 3:19Speaker 4: And then when I started making the decisions to change
- 3:23Speaker 4: my behavior so I could be something, the fact that
- 3:26Speaker 4: you didn't come along for the ride, that ain't got
- 3:29Speaker 4: nothing to do with me, That ain't got nothing to
- 3:31Speaker 4: do with me at all. Dog, So I'm pretty much
- 3:36Speaker 4: the same way. See, I'm gonna tell you something, man,
- 3:40Speaker 4: Money and fame didn't change me.
- 3:42Speaker 2: It allowed me to be more of who I really was.
- 3:45Speaker 4: Like, I've always been outspoken, I've always been kind to people.
- 3:50Speaker 4: I've always been a generous person. I've always been a
- 3:54Speaker 4: helping person. I've always been a person that's considerate. Now
- 4:00Speaker 4: do I get exposed to more stuff than the average person,
- 4:04Speaker 4: of course, because I'm known by more people. But not
- 4:08Speaker 4: only do I get exposed to more, I'm exposed more
- 4:14Speaker 4: so I have things happening to me that don't happen
- 4:16Speaker 4: to other people. Sometimes I got people attacking me that
- 4:20Speaker 4: ain't never even met me. Just this morning, man, I
- 4:24Speaker 4: was on line and saw something real negative pop up.
- 4:28Speaker 4: I just went on past it. I'm going wild, man.
- 4:31Speaker 4: People still trying to make that a issue. People still
- 4:35Speaker 4: believe that garbage. Now, if I take my time to
- 4:40Speaker 4: climb down off the wall to address this hate, I
- 4:44Speaker 4: do myself a disservice. Stay on the wall, Steve Harvey,
- 4:49Speaker 4: stay on the wall, all of y'all.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Stay on the wall, because.
- 4:54Speaker 4: When they throw on the rocks and you up on
- 4:56Speaker 4: the wall, remember the rock, when it go up, it
- 4:58Speaker 4: loses steam. But if you come down to address it,
- 5:02Speaker 4: they can hit you square dead in your eyes with it.
- 5:06Speaker 4: Stay on the wall, keep progressing, don't worry about them haters.
- 5:11Speaker 4: You're gonna have them, and I've learned so many things
- 5:15Speaker 4: about it. Anyway, Look for those that love you, no
- 5:20Speaker 4: explanation necessary. For those that hate you, no explanation accepted.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Man.
- 5:29Speaker 4: When a person got up in their mind to be
- 5:31Speaker 4: a hater, here's nothing you could say.
- 5:33Speaker 2: So I deal with them.
- 5:35Speaker 4: But one thing I noticed about haters, man, they all
- 5:39Speaker 4: doing bad. And for the most part this I found
- 5:43Speaker 4: this to be true too. You'll never have a hater
- 5:47Speaker 4: that's doing better than you.
- 5:50Speaker 2: They might look like it, but they really not.
- 5:53Speaker 4: They might be your supervisor on the job, but they
- 5:56Speaker 4: know you are coming and they hate you for who
- 6:00Speaker 4: you are.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Because they know you are better. They stiff. You will
- 6:04Speaker 2: never have a hate y'all. Hang in there to day. Hey, listen,
- 6:08Speaker 2: y'all talk to God today.
