  We're also going to talk about another trial that's been very eye-opening and interesting, and that is Linda Clancy, that case where she killed three of her children.

  uh murdered three of her children we'll talk about the liberal feminist culture of death and we're going to talk about right now uh this revised version of discerning the devil's playbook this is by matthew why did you decide to um really revise this and it's a you call it the freedom edition tell us about that brother

  Yeah, so right before I published it in 2024, if you recall, there was an assassination attempt on, at the time, former President Donald Trump.

  He was currently underway in the election cycle.

  And I delayed the publication to add an aftermath.

  What I saw in the failed attempt was...

  were the four plays that are spelled out in that book, David.

  And very quickly, play number one from the Devil's Playbook, Contradict the Truth.

  Play number two, Control the News, Propaganda.

  Play number three, the consequences of controlling the news and the narrative is conflict amongst groups, left versus right, black versus white.

  And you have all these political, ideological wars, cultural wars.

  And then, of course, play number four is always the spoils of war,

  Convert the youth.

  But more than that, as we saw in September of 2025, September 10th, as you said, today, a year ago, the successful and tragic outcome of another assassination attempt.

  So I saw the warning shot turned to an actual wound.

  Yeah.

  And we grieved in light of that loss, Charlie Kirk's life.

  But I saw the four plays come in high definition, clearer than ever before, how those four plays were at play and what led to the murder of Charlie Kirk.

  Play number one, contradict the truth, of course, lies.

  were weaved into the very unstable minds of many about Charlie's life, ministry, and platform.

  He was called a hater, a bigot, a sexist, a fascist.
• 5:18
  What a word.

  Yeah.

  Considering the book's intention is to look at Nazi Germany and those same four plays in the rear view.

  I say objects in mirror closer than they appear.

  And then to see that label pinned to a guy who loved Christ and country.

  And then once lies are believed, labels become targets.

  And once someone is targeted, sadly, it turns to violence.

  And those were the four plays in the aftermath.

  And of course, I think I shared on your program before, David, Charlie's name itself, Charlie, meaning...

  free man, Kirk meaning church, how we watched a free man of the church get struck down.

  And in the aftermath, how God has raised up many men and women who are free by Christ in his church to rise up in Charlie's place.

  So to take TPUSA's initiative,

  picking up the microphone, you do it every single day on your program.

  You're picking up the mic and you are espousing a biblical worldview.

  So I wanted to put out the Freedom Edition in honor of the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk.

  So there's so much more to be said about it, but that's pretty much the heart behind it.

  And, you know, though we are not on college campuses ministering, sharing the gospel, debating respectfully, lovingly sharing ideas and talking to them about the biblical worldview, what is true, because they've been sold lies.

  So they're coming with a different worldview.

  They're coming with a premise that the Bible is a fairy tale, man-made book, and God is not real.

  All this evolution, all that.

  There's so much that they need to be re-educated on.

  But I want to talk to you real quick before we run out of time.

  This is everywhere, I think, now.

  By the way, while we're recording this, new videos are coming out from, apparently, people from Pastor, not Pastor, what's his name?

  James Tallarico's church.

  And it says people in his church wish the would-be Trump assassin had been more successful.

  These are people in his church.

  You've got to put air quotes around church, because it is a progressive church, which is an oxymoron.

  Progressive Christianity is an oxymoron.

  Could you speak to this?

  This is the kind of narrative, and this is the kind of rhetoric that led to the violence against Charlie Kirk, that led to the violence in a lot of schools with transgender shooters going in and murdering people.

  This rhetoric has not been toned down.

  You hear from the leftist media, oh, it's both sides.

  Well, no.

  Who's been getting murdered?

  Who are the victims here?

  Children, an attempt on Trump, Charlie Kirk, a Christian conservative.

  Yeah, first and foremost, you and I likely believe in many of the points and principles that Charlie Kirk espoused and debated in public discourse.

  We believe those very things.

  And we've talked about it.

  And we have.

  And the culture's response to Charlie's murder and the failed attempt on President Trump, people were saying, as you just said, and I would clarify –

  from that place in Texas, that James Tallarico is a member of that church.

  By definition, biblically, that is not a church.
• 8:48
  It's an anti-church.
• 8:50
  And the person that steps into that pulpit is an anti-pastor and they're preaching what I would call anti-sermons.

  And it's under the spirit of the anti-Christ.

  So the people that are receiving and believing what is being put out from that anti-pulpit are antithetical to the Bible.

  And that is why people believe when you preach the truth of the gospel and the truth of God's word,

  It creates in them a hate.

  And it's like we need to be reminded I'm preaching for my pulpit the same thing that Charlie Kirk presented in the public square.

  And there's a segment of our society that wants to murder the truth tellers.

  So it's a wake up call for all of us.

  And they are putting the name of God on their –

  their compassion or their virtue or their social justice efforts.

  And it is alarming because deception is on the rise.

  Paul told Timothy that in the last days would come perilous times and the makeup or profile of the people in those last days, lovers of themselves,

  lovers of pleasure, haters of God, despisers of good, traitors, haughty, headstrong, selfish.

  Like the list goes on.

  We are witnessing that in culture.

  And that is why these voices that carry forth the gospel, the enemy is going to try to fear monger and get us to stay silent under the threats that we're going to do.

  that we could be next.

  And today's what they're calling, you know what?

  The Kirk-aversary.

  I don't know if you saw these videos, David, the Kirk-aversary and they're mocking and saying, oh, I wonder what type of drink of choice I should have on the Kirk-aversary, maybe a Bloody Mary.

  And it's just like, this is what the Bible says, Proverbs 17, 15, he who justifies the wicked and who condemns the just, both alike are an abomination to the Lord.

  Psalm 37 talks about the wicked hating the just and seething their teeth.

  And it's like, wow, we're witnessing the Bible coming in clear.

  Just pay attention.

  What is the Lord asking you and I to do for such a time as this?

  Oh, don't back down, friends.

  Lovingly, but if you love people, you will tell them the truth.

  By the way, it's not just in our culture.

  It's into these organizations masquerading as churches.

  I've seen the liberal, feminist, lesbian pastors or reverends or whatever with the rainbow outfits in churches or what maybe used to be churches in some denominations.

  But we need to move on a little bit.

  Let's talk about this article.

  Um, he's going to be there at worldview matters conference.

  Alex put this out at Liberty Sentinel a year without Charlie Kirk revival, division, and the future.

  And he said, America changed September 10, 2025, when an assassin's bullet ended Charlie Kirk's life a year later, America is divided and in trouble.

  How can Kirk's legacy get us back on track?

  Matthew, I, I've seen.

  I've seen.

  more, I don't know if openness is the right word, more at least curiosity or more young people searching for the truth.

  They don't know what it is, but this was a wake-up call, I think, for a lot of people.

  I think a lot of Christians, as you said, we believe the same things.

  We're speaking some of the same things, and we also have targets on our back, maybe just not as huge and maybe not out in the lion's den of the college campuses.

  But there's been more of an openness among youth today because they've been fed lies.

  And this is the theme of the show.

  You're starting with propaganda lies in this worldview away from God.

  And what are we seeing produce?
• 12:32
  We're seeing the rotten fruit.

  Yeah, the veil thinned on September 10th, 2025, and the posture of our nation collectively was exposed.

  And we saw two wildly different responses.

  And I'll take Charlie's organization, the name of it, and use it as an illustration.

  We saw a turning point to righteousness, a posture of the neck being broken and repentant,
• 12:59
  And the churches were filled and young lives were coming to the Lord in droves because they saw something that they could not unsee.

  And they said to themselves, there has to be something to what Charlie was saying so confidently and beautifully.

  And I've seen people give their lives to the Lord because of that tragedy.
• 13:17
  And then we saw on the other side of that equation, not a turning point to righteousness, we saw a tipping point.

  into lawlessness.
• 13:24
  And we saw mocking and jeering, and we've seen people get more emboldened in their hate for the things of the Lord.

  So we are in the midst of a very real spiritual war.

  It is not political whatsoever.
• 13:36
  It is holy spiritual.

  And we as Christians must put on the armor of God.

  I think I say that every time I'm on your broadcast.

  Maybe.

  Which is proof.

  that I believe it with all my heart.

  In a spiritual war, you must rely on spiritual weapons.

  So I read that article by Alex Newman, and I thought he was dead on.

  We are in the midst of a very serious divide in our country, and I only see it as getting worse as time goes on.

  And only another indication for those who are interested in Bible prophecy, our Lord is getting closer and closer to returning and redeeming, and we long for that day, David.

  And the harvest is plentiful.

  The workers are few, but pray that God would send more workers out there to preach the gospel, make disciples.

  Let's move quickly into this article, because if we don't learn from history, we're doomed to repeat it.

  But we also have to make sure young people are learning history.

  They're not.

  Over at the Washington stand, 100 million Americans have no memory of 9-11.

  And it talks about what's on the line.

  We know our young people in the government-run K-12 system may be getting a few details, maybe, about something that happened on 9-11 in New York, Washington, Pennsylvania.

  They don't know the why.
• 14:58
  They certainly don't know the worldview behind the terrorists or the cause of what happened to the Twin Towers.

  Matthew, speak to this.

  This is concerning, and if we don't get the truth to our younger generation, then I don't know.

  Yes, we get to see it up close and personal, right?

  You've heard of the phrase secular revisionists as they go back in our nation's history and they revise it or they skew it and they present a faulty view of it.

  Well, you've heard of the phrase secular revisionists

  9-11 is not that far in the rear view.

  It's 25 years ago, which will be tomorrow.

  And think about amnesia, the danger of amnesia.

  When you see somebody succumb to amnesia, they forget who they are.

  And the danger of losing one's identity is that you can convince them of anything.

  If they don't know who they are or where they've been, which is why there's an attempt to not educate our children.

  Now think about this.

  The reason we have to walk through metal detectors and take off our shoes and go through all these machines just to get to the terminal in an airport is because of what happened on 9-11, lest we forget.

  There is evidence of evil in this world when you are catching a flight and you're going, why do I have to go through the security process?

  Do you remember that, David, before 9-11?

  We didn't have to go through all that.

  And of course it's for our safety, but it's a reminder that evil exists.

  And to call out the elephant in the room, it's the worldview of Islam.

  Islam is what produced the radicals, as we say, but there's a disciples of Islam that wanted to see America destroyed because America is the big Satan and Israel is little Satan.

  And anyone that espouses Judeo-Christian values is going to be targeted by that issue.

  So it's sad to see so many completely unaware of what occurred on 9-11 and how many people, the firemen, the police, everyone in that vicinity, they ran towards the tragedy.

  And now we've come so far, you see the opposite is occurring when there's a tragedy.

  People are going the other way.

  Where's the courage to rise up and do the right thing in God's sight these days?

  Yeah, I watched—I made myself watch some of the footage before I got on the podcast with you.

  I was going watching some videos on YouTube of news reports on 9-11 and some of the amateur people that were just out there going, I can't believe this is happening.

  They're filming it.

  I think we need to let our youth really—

  hear the truth and read the truth, watch it and understand.

  But let's move on real quickly.

  There's another talk about the biblical worldview and stray from the most basic right, and that is the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

  But pre-born human lives in mothers' wombs, we've got women justifying, and a large group of liberal women justifying the murder of children outside the womb, living, breathing, living,

  Kids, so let's talk about this Linda Clancy case.

  This is really disturbing, Matthew, but I wanted to bring you on and talk about this.

  This is a worldview issue.
• 18:17
  Evil ideas being pushed to their logical conclusions.

  The heart is wicked apart from Christ.

  These are just some of my notes.

  The defense of children is a spiritual battle.

  Because it does start in the womb.
• 18:29
  That's what the Bible teaches.

  But what we've seen is—here's a stat, and I'll just hand it over to you.

  56% of young, white, liberal women reported having received a mental health diagnosis.

  So a lot of women are coming from a place of, oh, I can relate, empathy, compassion, for the woman—

  who killed her children.
• 18:56
  And it's a mistrial if you've been following the news, friends.

  Matthew, go ahead and share your heart on this.

  Give us some perspective.

  Well, we must call it out.

  We are watching and witnessing moral inversion.

  And just the past 30 days, the news cycle would have showed you this.

  Luigi Mangione said,

  an assassin who murdered someone in broad daylight was glorified and his actions were justified.

  I want you to think about that.

  And there was Carmelo Anthony who tragically killed another person with a knife.

  And there were people outside of the courtroom rallying with signs saying, free Carmelo.
• 19:42
  We can talk about Tyler Robinson and all of the frenzy online about him being a patsy and he's innocent.

  And then we kind of back into Lindsay Clancy, who strangled her three children.
• 19:55
  And what you're witnessing is a culture who has turned killers into a cause that,

  And we've turned the victims along the way into forgotten footnotes.
• 20:07
  And there were three children that were murdered by their mother.
• 20:11
  And yes, it's possible to have the conversation about postpartum psychosis, mental health issues, while at the same time calling out the facts and calling the person what they are and what they did.

  Now, it did end in a mistrial, and we don't know the reasons behind the soldier who was not willing to either acquit or not willing to rule not guilty.

  Can't speculate on that, but it's interesting that there was one person who at least had enough sobriety of mind to realize

  I don't know about all this other stuff, guys, but there's three children that were killed by their mother.

  And that just doesn't sit well with me.

  But the culture we are currently experiencing and we are exposed to, if we don't value life in the womb, then why in the world would we expect that?

  people to value life outside of the womb.

  And you have women that are rallying behind another woman.

  It's identity politics.

  Just because she's a woman, they're automatically coming to her aid and defending what she did.

  And of course, it's just a tragedy all around.

  So it took us that long way to get to a point where we're watching moral inversion.

  And the Bible says in Isaiah 520, woe to those who call evil good and good evil.

  And that is what we are currently looking.

  And to be a pastor, because that's what I am, goodness, on the day of judgment, there will be no mistrial.

  On that day, we will all stand before a righteous judge.
• 21:44
  And the only way to find ourselves secure in salvation is if we accept the Lord Jesus Christ.

  So I pray for Lindsay Glancy's salvation because she's going to stand trial on.

  and eternity and only having a relationship with Jesus Christ is going to grant her access to eternal life.

  And that's where our hearts should break because people are missing that God gave us Jesus for that very reason.

  And these supporters, whether they're God-haters or not, these supporters of this kind of worldview, they're going to hell unless they repent and believe Jesus and the truth and receive the gospel.

  But there needs to be messengers to get the gospel to them.

  So here's basically a statement.

  You've heard My Body, My Choice, right?
• 22:33
  It's been bought.
• 22:34
  It's even crept into the church today.
• 22:36
  Maybe a lot of people don't maybe believe everything about that statement, but they believe part of it enough to say, you know what, let's just be compassionate.

  But here's a statement.

  It's her kids.
• 22:48
  She can kill them if she wants to.
• 22:51
  So supporters of this woman and you guys that raised a million dollars for her, just admit that you believe this.

  It's her kids.

  She can kill them if she wants to.

  So what makes any other mom with kids of any other age different if they were to kill, if she was to kill her children?

  Do you see it's a slippery slope?

  That's not even the right word.

  It's just a tragedy of where we're at in our worldview, in our thinking, reprobate mind.

  It's delusion.

  But I want to quote Carolyn Levitt.

  liberal women say Charlie Kirk deserved to be killed because of the things he said.

  Liberal women say Lindsay Clancy deserves to be free because she killed her children.

  Liberal women are a cancer to society.

  And I don't want to make light of that, but there's a problem here.

  The enemy somehow, Matthew, got to the women.

  and convinced them, deceived them, recruited them.

  I don't know how it happened, maybe as young children.

  But now you're justifying mental illness.

  By the way, the insanity defense with the circumstances of this case, it really blows my mind.

  A lot of people are really furious about this.

  Just share whatever thoughts you'd like.

  We only have a few minutes left, but wherever you want to.

  Yeah, the methodical nature by which she went about the exact day that she strangled her children was very organized.

  In fact, Google searches revealed how methodical and how intentional she was.

  And an insane person...

  doesn't go through such great length to commit such a crime.

  But I have so many thoughts.

  My body, my choice.

  No, it's his body, the Lord's body, and it's his choice as he defines life.

  So we've strayed so far from that.

  How convenient.

  for people to say, well, her children, she could do whatever she wants with them.

  How convenient that people love to give license to other people to do what they want, because it shows that we don't want to be held accountable.

  And that's what Jesus said, that the light came into the world in John 3.

  The light came into the world and men loved darkness rather than light because
• 25:06
  the light exposed that their deeds were evil.

  And that's exactly what we are witnessing.

  And again, it is so mind boggling, but we should be grounded.

  And I think shows like yours, David, are designed to strengthen people's conviction in what they believe to change.

  sharpen people's discernment so they can discern the times and where we are in God's timeline, and ultimately be more bold and unashamed of the gospel that saves the soul.

  So I don't envy you, David.

  You have to look at the news cycle probably more than me.

  In fact, I just said this for my pulpit about Lindsay Clancy, and I addressed it.

  Apparently, she even picked up the phone when her husband called when she was in the middle of strangling her kids.

  But medical evidence at the time says doctors who treated her before the killings documented depression, anxiety, insomnia, intrusive thoughts and suicidal ideation.

  And afterwards, after the killings, these terms came up and were attached to her psychosis, postpartum depression, auditory command hallucination.
