- 0:05Speaker 2: Off the Bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn.
- 0:08Speaker 3: Let's go, baby, let's go.
- 0:10Speaker 2: From a championship backfield to your morning drive.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Hands to Hester, and Hester, yep, got it, five out
- 0:16Speaker 1: of five.
- 0:16Speaker 2: You're locked in to Off the Bench.
- 0:18Speaker 1: Flynn is back to throw for the end zone ball.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Live from the Raising Cane Studio, here's Jacob Hester and
- 0:28Speaker 2: Matt Flynn.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Welcome in OTV here on this Thursday morning live from
- 0:52Speaker 4: the Raising Cane Studio.
- 0:54Speaker 1: Jake Flynn, Alondra, Tay-Tay all here with you. How we doing? Bro,
- 0:59Speaker 1: get that coffee down, man. That was low energy, yo.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Couldn't hear myself. Only one of these ears works. Oh.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Get some new headphones.
- 1:08Speaker 5: I think it's the It's the actual thing that you
- 1:12Speaker 5: plug it into, not the headphones.
- 1:14Speaker 1: If I hold them like this.
- 1:15Speaker 5: Do you have the adapter on it?
- 1:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:17Speaker 5: I think if you take it off, it might be
- 1:18Speaker 5: better and put it in the other one. But I
- 1:21Speaker 5: don't know.
- 1:23Speaker 1: What do I know? That worked? Now neither one of
- 1:26Speaker 1: them works. Dang.
- 1:28Speaker 5: I made it worse.
- 1:28Speaker 1: Back to adapter. I think we got another pair over
- 1:31Speaker 1: here that might work. I think it launches right, though.
- 1:35Speaker 5: I don't think it's the headphones.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I think it's the actual studio. Because if I hold
- 1:38Speaker 1: it down like this and twist it a little bit.
- 1:40Speaker 5: Yeah, you got to like.
- 1:42Speaker 1: Are you saying things are a little bit spooky in here?
- 1:46Speaker 1: Or just nobody fixes things when they break. In a
- 1:49Speaker 1: spooky type of way. Sure.
- 1:52Speaker 5: That is spooky.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I really like the green today. The green does look cool.
- 1:56Speaker 1: You can't see the lights above us, but they're green
- 1:59Speaker 1: as well. Very fun. Looks like. I can definitely see them.
- 2:04Speaker 1: What are you talking about? They're right there. Yeah, there
- 2:05Speaker 1: they are. Yeah, just switch camera angles up. Not a
- 2:07Speaker 1: big deal. We got more than one? We got like six. Wow. Dude,
- 2:11Speaker 1: I know. Wow.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Wow. Hey, good morning, buddy. How we doing? I'm good. Okay.
- 2:21Speaker 1: All right, dude. My brain's lost last night. All right. Good.
- 2:25Speaker 1: You can finally start to stop talking about it. Yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Misery loves company. Laundries. Are they eliminated? I told you.
- 2:31Speaker 5: That's why I'm like, I don't care.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Are they eliminated?
- 2:33Speaker 5: Win the wild card round. Who cares?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Perfect.
- 2:35Speaker 5: Nothing's going to happen.
- 2:38Speaker 1: The Yankees got swept by the Tampa Bay Rays. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: did see the ending of that one. Our Dodgers beat
- 2:43Speaker 1: the Braves. It didn't seem like the Yankees fans are
- 2:46Speaker 1: real lovey-dovey with their team yesterday.
- 2:51Speaker 3: No.
- 2:51Speaker 1: They were very mean. Folks in the Bronx? I got
- 2:54Speaker 1: a feeling they're not a very good fan base.
- 2:57Speaker 5: I mean, it's year after year the same thing.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Talking to Alondra, she's a fan. Well, I know that,
- 3:02Speaker 1: but she wasn't.
- 3:03Speaker 5: But I'm not in the Bronx.
- 3:04Speaker 1: She wasn't there like yelling and cursing at her team
- 3:07Speaker 1: because they.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Now, if I were there, I'm not saying I wouldn't
- 3:12Speaker 3: yell at them.
- 3:14Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know, man. Maybe they would play better
- 3:18Speaker 1: if y'all supported them a little bit more.
- 3:20Speaker 5: That's why we're so angry, because we support them so much.
- 3:22Speaker 1: I think the team should come out and say that, Matt.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I'm sure it'll go over really well. Yeah, if y'all
- 3:26Speaker 1: would stop saying mean things to us, maybe we'd play harder.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Oh, don't be Justin Reed.
- 3:30Speaker 1: Who's that?
- 3:32Speaker 5: Help him.
- 3:34Speaker 1: New Orleans Saints safety.
- 3:36Speaker 5: He went on a Twitter post. Rampage.
- 3:38Speaker 3: I guess Rampage might be doing a lot of work there.
- 3:41Speaker 3: But he went, like, on a Twitter rant.
- 3:42Speaker 5: He was so mad. Well, I mean, he was. He
- 3:45Speaker 5: was angry online.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeah, a Twitter rant, like, from the locker room, basically,
- 3:49Speaker 3: after they lost to Atlanta.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 3:52Speaker 5: Like, going off on people on the internet.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Okay. Let me find the Twitter. What were they saying
- 3:57Speaker 1: to him?
- 3:58Speaker 3: That he wasn't giving good effort, and then so he
- 4:00Speaker 3: got butt hurt, and he posted being like, I give
- 4:04Speaker 3: good effort, and everybody was, like, quote tweeting it with loaves.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, he had a few. Okay, remember the play
- 4:11Speaker 1: we talked about on Tuesday and you were like, who's 21?
- 4:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Man, it's Justin. That's him? Justin needs to just know
- 4:18Speaker 1: that there's only one person out there that controls your happy,
- 4:24Speaker 1: and it's you, buddy. It's you.
- 4:25Speaker 3: It's never good when you start your tweet off with,
- 4:28Speaker 3: I'm a grown man.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Oh, boy.
- 4:31Speaker 5: From Louisiana.
- 4:32Speaker 1: Like, in anything.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Tweet, statement. Yeah. Part of a conversation.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Never ends well.
- 4:40Speaker 1: It's never really a good starter to a sentence.
- 4:45Speaker 5: You got to start it with, I'm a grown man.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's tough. Yeah, I don't know. Maybe.
- 4:52Speaker 5: It didn't do what he thought it was going to do.
- 4:55Speaker 1: He thought he was cooking.
- 4:56Speaker 5: He thought he was cooking and everybody cooked him.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Everybody's like, oh, you're right, man. My bad. You mean
- 5:01Speaker 1: Twitter didn't apologize? They were like, grown man isn't like adult? Well, hell, dude.
- 5:07Speaker 1: That's all right. It's on us. Sorry, I thought you
- 5:09Speaker 1: were a child. We didn't realize who we were talking to.
- 5:12Speaker 1: It's on us.
- 5:13Speaker 3: I think that's just like the overall, like, that's how
- 5:17Speaker 3: I feel about the Saints.
- 5:17Speaker 5: They're all so soft. Like, there's nobody that's like.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Yeah, right. Tyler Shuck.
- 5:24Speaker 5: But even Tyler's so nice.
- 5:25Speaker 1: Well, and even that, if you want to talk about
- 5:29Speaker 1: the one position being tough and you go to quarterback,
- 5:31Speaker 1: also a problem.
- 5:33Speaker 5: That's fair.
- 5:34Speaker 1: That's a good point. Like, they're not blocking anybody. Like,
- 5:37Speaker 1: if your quarterback's your toughest player, then you're not a
- 5:39Speaker 1: good football team. Chase Young. Cool. I'll ride with him.
- 5:43Speaker 1: There's a guy. No, yeah.
- 5:44Speaker 5: You got Chase Young.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I'll ride with him.
- 5:46Speaker 5: Who's also a really nice person.
- 5:48Speaker 1: What is this little thing? I'll go with Olave, too. Yeah. Olave.
- 5:53Speaker 1: We got three. But again, we didn't list. We listed
- 5:56Speaker 1: a D lineman. Olave's injuries, like, he literally couldn't help.
- 6:00Speaker 1: We didn't list not one O lineman, not one linebacker.
- 6:03Speaker 1: Not one safety. We're not hating on Kamara. Hey, you're
- 6:08Speaker 1: okay in my book. You just, you know, we're just
- 6:11Speaker 1: past our prime.
- 6:13Speaker 5: Which is crazy because Derrick Henry is a year older
- 6:15Speaker 5: than him. But he was made in a lot.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Derrick Henry's a unicorn. But Derrick Henry just runs straight.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Can I be a robot? Me, run straight. I mean,
- 6:24Speaker 1: Kamara's game is a little bit different. Probably didn't translate
- 6:26Speaker 1: to the.
- 6:27Speaker 5: Older type of player.
- 6:27Speaker 3: No, for sure, but it's just really funny when you
- 6:29Speaker 3: hear the way people talk about Derrick Henry and then
- 6:32Speaker 3: you hear the way that people talk about Alvin Kamara. Like,
- 6:35Speaker 3: when he was scoring, when he scored two touchdowns on
- 6:38Speaker 3: Monday and everybody was, like, talking about he's, like, way
- 6:42Speaker 3: past his prime or something.
- 6:43Speaker 5: And maybe he is. He probably is.
- 6:45Speaker 3: But it's just really funny when you compare the two
- 6:48Speaker 3: because they're basically the same age and everybody's like, unreal,
- 6:52Speaker 3: Derrick Henry.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Derrick Henry told me during training camp, you know how
- 6:57Speaker 6: much he spends just like on his body slash like
- 7:01Speaker 6: food in the off season?
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'd say at least 30 bucks. Yes. It's something like
- 7:11Speaker 1: some crazy number, like $ 650, 000.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Just don't like nutrition and cold tubs.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Yes.
- 7:14Speaker 1: I mean, dude, it seems like for three years now.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Coming into the season, every offseason, people are like, hey,
- 7:26Speaker 1: is this the year Derrick Henry falls off? Derrick Henry
- 7:28Speaker 1: doesn't eat sugar.
- 7:30Speaker 6: There's this long list of stuff that he was like,
- 7:33Speaker 6: this is how I can play as a 32-year-old.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I watch him play.
- 7:36Speaker 5: A.K., cut the sugar out.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Watch him play. Doesn't A.K. have a deal with airheads?
- 7:40Speaker 5: Dang, I think he does.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it'd be tough for him.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Airheads make you washed.
- 7:44Speaker 1: It's got to be you, though. You've got to be happy,
- 7:46Speaker 1: you know? I watch him run on Sundays, and I'm like,
- 7:49Speaker 1: I can just see– Watching him. I can see his knees, ankles,
- 7:55Speaker 1: and feet hurting on Monday. I can just see it coming.
- 7:58Speaker 1: That guy probably can't even get out of bed on Monday.
- 8:01Speaker 1: He's hurting so bad. Henry?
- 8:02Speaker 3: 32 is not even that old.
- 8:06Speaker 5: He's so old. In running back terms. He's 65 in
- 8:11Speaker 5: running back terms.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Just in NFL terms in general, it's so funny how
- 8:15Speaker 3: everybody asks how early 30s is so old.
- 8:18Speaker 6: If there is something that they can do. Knock a
- 8:21Speaker 6: running back four, they go and do it.
- 8:23Speaker 1: I don't know about this day and age, buddy. Times
- 8:26Speaker 1: is changing. Come on, bro. Finally coming back. Running backs
- 8:31Speaker 1: didn't matter for a while. Now they do. Oh, no,
- 8:34Speaker 1: they did. Now they do. I'm with Jake. I think
- 8:38Speaker 1: they always did. There's just this perception that they didn't.
- 8:41Speaker 6: Every leading rusher for the top 13 rushers last year,
- 8:45Speaker 6: outside of one guy, was a top two pick.
- 8:48Speaker 1: First round or second round. What is that? What's that
- 8:52Speaker 1: you just threw at me? Top 13 rushers. You got
- 8:56Speaker 1: to pick somebody, you know. But they say you don't
- 8:59Speaker 1: take running backs. Who said that? Everybody. Literally every draft.
- 9:04Speaker 1: I said in the top 10. 11? Fine. B. John Robinson,
- 9:12Speaker 1: pretty good. Amir Gibbs, pretty good. He was right on
- 9:14Speaker 1: the outside, wasn't he? Yeah, he may have been right up.
- 9:17Speaker 1: Let's see. That's a perfect spot. Christian McCaffrey, pretty good.
- 9:19Speaker 1: That's a perfect spot. Saquon's pretty good. He was. He was.
- 9:25Speaker 2: 12th.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Jameer Gibbs was 12th. He was right on the edge.
- 9:28Speaker 1: A good running back. Jeremiah Love's playing pretty good. Who? Yes.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I just told you he was.
- 9:36Speaker 2: Who?
- 9:36Speaker 1: I don't believe everything you say. I mean, I know
- 9:39Speaker 1: we're friends, but I can still question things. I ain't
- 9:43Speaker 1: no sheep. It's Jeremiah Love that's going to end it, huh?
- 9:47Speaker 5: That's going to end the years of friendship.
- 9:49Speaker 1: I mean, this Jeremiah Love situation has been building up
- 9:52Speaker 1: for a while.
- 9:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:53Speaker 1: Over two decades of friendship. Jeremiah Love. Before we draw
- 9:56Speaker 1: a line. in the sand. That's where we draw the line.
- 10:01Speaker 5: That's brutal.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Hope it was fun. Hope it was worth it. Hope
- 10:08Speaker 1: Jeremiah was fun. Oh, man. It would have been good
- 10:13Speaker 1: to hit a Jeremiah Love card yesterday. Oh, my gosh.
- 10:17Speaker 1: We're still talking about this? It's a big card. It's
- 10:20Speaker 1: a big card.
- 10:21Speaker 5: I don't want you judging anybody for talking about cards.
- 10:24Speaker 3: I don't want you judging anybody for talking about cards.
- 10:28Speaker 1: What are you talking about? Matt, you buy them during
- 10:30Speaker 1: the show.
- 10:30Speaker 5: You were depressed for like an hour.
- 10:32Speaker 1: He's over here clicking buttons already. I haven't even looked once.
- 10:35Speaker 1: We did a whole segment about how you needed Jake
- 10:38Speaker 1: to buy them for you because you got blocked. That
- 10:40Speaker 1: was months ago.
- 10:41Speaker 3: It's not even like sports cards. We're talking about Star
- 10:43Speaker 3: Wars cards with you.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Did you ever get those cards? Which ones? Like, from
- 10:49Speaker 1: anybody that you were looking for that the guy would
- 10:51Speaker 1: not sell them. Yeah, you had to, like, meet up
- 10:53Speaker 1: with him in an alley. Oh, those cards. Oh, no,
- 10:55Speaker 1: I know you didn't get those. You'd have told me. No,
- 10:57Speaker 1: I didn't get those ones, buddy.
- 10:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 10:59Speaker 1: I got renegotiated on me and backed out on a deal.
- 11:04Speaker 1: We had a digital handshake. Which is basically. Digital. Y'all
- 11:09Speaker 1: both send an emoji. Sharpie. Pretty much. Yeah. No doubt. Yeah.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Sorry about it, though. See, now you know how I
- 11:20Speaker 1: felt yesterday. That's a worse beat than yours, bud. It is.
- 11:26Speaker 1: But on the scale, it's a big card. It's a
- 11:32Speaker 1: big card. Scared money don't make money.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Well, I was trying to talk to you about probably
- 11:38Speaker 6: the quarterback rankings that you didn't give us yesterday.
- 11:42Speaker 1: You got them today? Got them today. You're right. I've
- 11:45Speaker 1: been super lazy this week. I just... I'm not the
- 11:49Speaker 1: only one saying it.
- 11:51Speaker 5: Yeah, we got multiple people saying it.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Was it Al?
- 11:55Speaker 3: Actually, I think I got that wrong. I think Al
- 11:57Speaker 3: was his dad's name. I don't know what his name is.
- 11:59Speaker 1: You can call me. You know what? You know what?
- 12:07Speaker 1: Not doing your ranking yesterday shows, Matt.
- 12:09Speaker 2: What?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Laziness. For sure. 100%. But you see those slides, though?
- 12:15Speaker 1: The slides were sweet. Kenny Pickett looked really good in
- 12:18Speaker 1: that picture. You didn't know he went to Kentucky? Don't
- 12:23Speaker 1: know he went to Pitt? Joke's on you. Him and
- 12:26Speaker 1: Minji pretty much look exactly the same. All right.
- 12:33Speaker 6: Well, if you want to check out us breaking down
- 12:35Speaker 6: the Kentucky offense and the Kentucky defense, two different videos,
- 12:41Speaker 6: some said, you know, maybe Matt gets a little long-winded.
- 12:47Speaker 1: We need to cut it to two videos. Whatever. Whatever.
- 12:51Speaker 1: This is great.
- 12:51Speaker 5: That's a fight I can't fight anymore.
- 12:52Speaker 1: I watched part one. And I was like, you know what?
- 12:58Speaker 1: I'm trying to find something I'd cut out of this.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Couldn't do it. People need to know. They need a breakdown.
- 13:04Speaker 1: The best part.
- 13:05Speaker 5: Significantly less views on part two than part one.
- 13:09Speaker 1: Oh, we also haven't, like, posted it yet.
- 13:12Speaker 5: I did post part two.
- 13:12Speaker 1: She posted it, yeah. No, I'm talking about, like, put
- 13:15Speaker 1: it out to the world. Oh. I think I did.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Maybe not. I don't know. All I know is Matt's like, hey,
- 13:23Speaker 1: 30 minutes. We can knock this out. Yo, we're in
- 13:26Speaker 1: here for about an hour and a half. After 50
- 13:32Speaker 1: minutes of offense. I drastically misjudged the amount of information
- 13:36Speaker 1: we had. You were like, this is going to be quick.
- 13:39Speaker 1: We're not even going to make knees. We're just going
- 13:40Speaker 1: to do Kentucky. Yeah. Well, the goal is, well, I
- 13:43Speaker 1: had a bunch of clips. Because, you know, when you're
- 13:45Speaker 1: doing a, when you're doing a, We did a film
- 13:48Speaker 1: preview and a scouting report. So, like, misjudge the, I guess,
- 13:54Speaker 1: the amount of clips that there were. Because you want
- 13:58Speaker 1: to put enough in there to show exactly what you're
- 14:00Speaker 1: talking about.
- 14:01Speaker 6: You know, maybe, just spitballing here, maybe the three clips
- 14:06Speaker 6: just to make fun of Lenora Sellers in South Carolina,
- 14:09Speaker 6: maybe those could.
- 14:09Speaker 1: Have got taken out. No, that was fun. That was fun.
- 14:13Speaker 1: It's about the little things in life that keeps you young.
- 14:14Speaker 1: That's part of the clip. It was good. It was good.
- 14:17Speaker 1: There were some things that needed to be made fun
- 14:19Speaker 1: of with South Carolina.
- 14:20Speaker 5: We don't even play them.
- 14:22Speaker 1: Huh?
- 14:22Speaker 5: We don't even play them.
- 14:23Speaker 1: We don't even play them. They caught some strays yesterday.
- 14:26Speaker 1: That's what happens when you line up in shotgun behind
- 14:29Speaker 1: the guard and you're yelling at your running back to
- 14:32Speaker 1: get lined up for him. Get behind you in pistol.
- 14:34Speaker 1: He's like, no, buddy. You're supposed to be over here.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You get in front of me in pistol. I've done that.
- 14:41Speaker 1: I've put my hand behind him. Under center, under the guard.
- 14:46Speaker 1: And he's like, get your hands out my ass. And
- 14:51Speaker 1: then he was like, wait, wait, wait, no, change of mind,
- 14:53Speaker 1: come back. Nope. Nope. Anyway. Yeah. Oof. Gosh. Go watch
- 15:01Speaker 1: Eye in the Sky with Hester and Flynn. Man, you
- 15:03Speaker 1: really sold that.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Both parts.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Wow, guys.
- 15:05Speaker 5: Part one and part two.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Part one's the offense. Part two's the defense for Kentucky.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Maybe next time you try to sell our film review,
- 15:12Speaker 1: you don't sound so mad at it. I was just critiquing. Why?
- 15:17Speaker 1: Constructive criticism.
- 15:19Speaker 5: People critique us enough.
- 15:21Speaker 1: People can actually, you're going to be surprised at this.
- 15:25Speaker 1: They can go watch it. Then they can just push pause.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Then they can fast forward.
- 15:29Speaker 5: And they can rewind. Although, I think people are anti-rewind.
- 15:35Speaker 1: It's mixed signals on that one. It is.
- 15:38Speaker 6: It's more, do you want to watch the Kentucky offense
- 15:41Speaker 6: or the Kentucky defense? Or do you want to watch both?
- 15:44Speaker 6: That's what the videos are cut up into. Either way, like, subscribe, share.
- 15:51Speaker 1: I had a great time. Didn't sound like y'all did,
- 15:54Speaker 1: but I did.
- 15:55Speaker 5: I didn't even say anything. I said, go watch it.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Part one and part two. Oh, my God. I want
- 16:02Speaker 1: that to go away so fast.
- 16:03Speaker 5: It's not. It's never going anywhere.
- 16:05Speaker 1: It's a little bit fun.
- 16:06Speaker 5: It's here to stay.
- 16:07Speaker 1: It's a little bit fun. I don't know. Kind of nasty. Man,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm excited for today.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Eye in the sky.
- 16:20Speaker 1: This show.
- 16:20Speaker 5: I can't wait for next week's two-hour filming.
- 16:26Speaker 6: He's going to be an hour and 15 on LSU Kentucky,
- 16:29Speaker 6: and it's going to be an hour and a half
- 16:32Speaker 6: on LSU Mississippi State.
- 16:33Speaker 1: I'm going to be trying to come in at 1 o'clock,
- 16:35Speaker 1: and that's going to be like two minutes. There might
- 16:37Speaker 1: be four episodes next week. You don't know. Oh, I do.
- 16:40Speaker 5: We all have to up that pay.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Well, why not? Absolutely. I get it. Can we come
- 16:45Speaker 1: in before the show? Because it really sets my day back. No.
- 16:49Speaker 5: Five in the morning?
- 16:49Speaker 1: You want to show up here at 4.30? No, we
- 16:52Speaker 1: show up at six like we did the time before.
- 16:55Speaker 5: And we took it up to seven.
- 16:57Speaker 1: Oh, we're going up to seven. For sure. That ain't
- 16:59Speaker 1: enough time, bud. We'll talk about it during the break.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We'll work this out.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Eye in the sky.
- 17:06Speaker 1: You should work out Eye in the Sky on YouTube. Subscribe.

- 17:30Speaker 6: They've been in this game for a long time, over
- 17:32Speaker 6: 50 years here in the area. And they are going
- 17:36Speaker 6: to Lafayette, but don't worry. It doesn't change anything that
- 17:39Speaker 6: they do. 24-7, 365 weekend, holiday, game day, does not matter.
- 17:43Speaker 6: If you have an emergency, they are going to be
- 17:46Speaker 6: there for you. If you're looking to upgrade, they've got

- 17:55Speaker 6: as a job is.

- 18:29Speaker 2: Purple and gold to the core. This is Off the
- 18:32Speaker 2: Bench with Hester and Flynn. Baton Rouge's go-to for all
- 18:36Speaker 2: things Louisiana sports.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Is that the release?
- 18:59Speaker 5: That's how it was released to the public.
- 19:01Speaker 1: The original album. Lyrical genius. Shout out to Fitty.
- 19:12Speaker 6: Basically my Shreveport brethren at this point, obviously.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Can't say shells.
- 19:20Speaker 5: I think because it's like.
- 19:22Speaker 1: I mean, I know, yeah, but... I mean, let's be honest.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Matt says sex all the time. You can't even say that?
- 19:28Speaker 3: I didn't edit the song, guys.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Alondra, why'd you do that?
- 19:33Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Why'd you edit shells? Unbelievable. Alondra. He's been hit with
- 19:40Speaker 1: a few. I think, what, nine? Fifty?
- 19:44Speaker 6: Nine?
- 19:44Speaker 1: Nine times he's been shot?
- 19:46Speaker 5: I think so.
- 19:46Speaker 1: I don't know. It's a handful, for sure. All I know,
- 19:49Speaker 1: poor guy. He's done a lot of good things. Been
- 19:52Speaker 1: through a lot. All I can think of when I
- 19:55Speaker 1: hear 50 is him upside down at the halftime. All
- 19:58Speaker 1: I can think of. Really? That's a shame. And I'm sorry.
- 20:01Speaker 1: And I wish it wasn't that way. All I can
- 20:04Speaker 1: think about is him hanging upside down. It's actually better
- 20:06Speaker 1: than when I think of him. I think of the
- 20:07Speaker 1: movie The Hangover. Because the dirty wedding singer is singing
- 20:10Speaker 1: 50 Cent at the reception. I liked Get Rich or
- 20:14Speaker 1: Die Trying. I enjoyed that movie. Did you? I did.
- 20:17Speaker 1: All right. I did. I can't remember the movie. I
- 20:21Speaker 1: know we went to see it the night before a game.
- 20:22Speaker 1: That seems like a team outing movie. I can't remember it.
- 20:27Speaker 1: It was good.
- 20:30Speaker 6: Now, to be fair to 50, none of us are
- 20:33Speaker 6: looking good hanging upside down.
- 20:34Speaker 1: No, yeah, for sure. They did that man dirty by
- 20:37Speaker 1: making him hang upside down. Yeah, as like a 50-year-old man. Yeah. 48, 50,
- 20:42Speaker 1: I don't know. On the football field. Yeah.
- 20:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:47Speaker 1: That's a shame. I wish it was different. That's about respect.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Is there anything he can do about that? Not at
- 20:58Speaker 1: this point. He'd have to come up with just another
- 21:01Speaker 1: banger of a song. Yeah, he kind of does movies
- 21:05Speaker 1: and TV shows now. Yeah. Pretty wealthy. Pretty wealthy. A
- 21:10Speaker 1: little music. You know what is doing something right now? Hurricane. Isaiah's? Isaiah's.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Two Isaiah's. Yeah. It's looking like I'm no weatherman. Can't
- 21:27Speaker 1: wait for this weather report.
- 21:28Speaker 6: I know.
- 21:29Speaker 5: I'm excited.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I know. I saw this thing. It's going to go.
- 21:34Speaker 1: mississippi we're gonna go tennessee then kentucky yeah so we're
- 21:41Speaker 1: gonna get a little rain it's gonna be a wet.
- 21:43Speaker 5: Game bama george is having some drama it's.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Probably gonna get more more bama than mississippi but yeah
- 21:52Speaker 7: i was trying to figure out if um kentucky has
- 21:56Speaker 7: played in a rain game this year some sort of
- 21:59Speaker 7: like a wet ball situation because that always helps to
- 22:01Speaker 7: have a little experience under your belt.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I was trying to figure it out because LSU really hadn't.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Then I Googled it. I was like, it's Kentucky played.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I was asking the artificial intelligence. I said, well, there
- 22:13Speaker 1: was rain, Kentucky and South Carolina. So me being resourceful,
- 22:18Speaker 1: knowing that we have a great team here, I texted
- 22:21Speaker 1: our South Carolina friend, texted Marla. I said, hey, Marla,
- 22:26Speaker 1: can you tell me, was it raining during the game?
- 22:29Speaker 1: It took me no less than 20 text messages back
- 22:33Speaker 1: and forth to get an answer finally.
- 22:37Speaker 5: That sounds about right.
- 22:39Speaker 1: About 18 jokes. Three of them hit. It's all about volume.
- 22:47Speaker 1: The rest of them were just, you know, they weren't great.
- 22:50Speaker 1: We had to get through. We had to wade through.
- 22:52Speaker 1: Sometimes you got to pick through the bones to get
- 22:53Speaker 1: through the meat.
- 22:54Speaker 5: It's exhausting being his friend.
- 22:55Speaker 1: And then finally it was, no, it didn't rain during.
- 22:58Speaker 1: It rained pregame. Okay.
- 23:01Speaker 3: It would have taken you less time to just look
- 23:03Speaker 3: up the weather report.
- 23:04Speaker 1: Well, I figured he knew.
- 23:07Speaker 5: You watched the film.
- 23:08Speaker 1: I did, but it's kind of blurry. It's a little
- 23:11Speaker 1: blurry though. I don't know if this is grainy or. Yeah. Anyway.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Neither team has really played in the rain yet, so
- 23:19Speaker 1: if they do play in the rain, they'll be on
- 23:21Speaker 1: equal playing ground. Equal?
- 23:25Speaker 3: Equal.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Even playing ground, I've heard. I've never heard of equal. No,
- 23:29Speaker 1: when I said it, I knew that it wasn't 100% right.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Couldn't put my finger on it. All right.
- 23:39Speaker 5: You're like, nope.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Who's at favor? I was also trying to think of that.
- 23:44Speaker 1: I would, I mean... Both teams are going to try
- 23:48Speaker 1: to run the ball. So I don't know if it
- 23:50Speaker 1: really favors anybody, honestly. Traditionally, you would look at both
- 23:55Speaker 1: offensive styles and be like, oh, that's going to favor
- 23:58Speaker 1: Kentucky because they can get under center. They play with
- 24:00Speaker 1: more tight ends. They're more built for a running type
- 24:03Speaker 1: of game. But no, the stats don't back that up.
- 24:07Speaker 1: You know Lane Kiffin and them. I think getting under
- 24:09Speaker 1: center in the rain might be more difficult. When I.
- 24:14Speaker 1: If it is raining and it does have to become
- 24:17Speaker 1: a sloppy, wet game, my money is definitely going to
- 24:21Speaker 1: be on LSU just because, as we talked about yesterday,
- 24:24Speaker 1: and I and this guy, and you saw yesterday in
- 24:26Speaker 1: that film review, their defensive line is a liability for them.
- 24:32Speaker 1: Linebackers can play a little bit. Yeah. The secondary is
- 24:37Speaker 1: kind of a moot point to me. There's nothing bad.
- 24:39Speaker 1: There's nothing overly good. But their defensive line is charming soft. Well, and.
- 24:45Speaker 5: Can't get off blocks.
- 24:46Speaker 1: They can't get off blocks. I mean, you know, if
- 24:49Speaker 1: he's fully recovered from the hamstring, he didn't run a
- 24:51Speaker 1: ton last week. But, like, Leavitt runs a lot more
- 24:54Speaker 1: than Kenny Menchie. Like, that adds to it there in
- 24:57Speaker 1: the weather as well. So, you got some advantages. Yeah. Yeah,
- 25:03Speaker 1: then they've won some turf still, right?
- 25:06Speaker 2: Is it?
- 25:06Speaker 1: Yeah, I think it's turf now. Kentucky? I don't know.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I thought Kentucky was natural grass, but I will check.
- 25:11Speaker 1: It was 20 years ago. Yeah. It's true. They had
- 25:16Speaker 1: time to change.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Oh.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Feels like it's turf. Feels right. It does feel right.
- 25:22Speaker 1: I'm seeing that one game I watched a couple of
- 25:24Speaker 1: years ago on TV. I'm seeing that. It's turf. Turf now. Yeah. Yeah,
- 25:29Speaker 1: we can't see. We can't go off when we played there.
- 25:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:31Speaker 1: No, we can't do that. There's been new technology since then.
- 25:34Speaker 1: They've developed it? Yeah. So, I think if it does rain...
- 25:40Speaker 1: I don't know if anybody's really at a disadvantage just
- 25:42Speaker 1: because of what they like to try to do. They
- 25:46Speaker 1: want to run the ball. They want to play action.
- 25:48Speaker 1: They want to move the pocket a little bit, dink
- 25:50Speaker 1: and dunk, make things easy for their quarterback, set things up,
- 25:54Speaker 1: and then all of a sudden try to hit you
- 25:56Speaker 1: on a deep shot on play action pass. That's kind
- 25:58Speaker 1: of their style. That's what they want to do. And
- 26:00Speaker 1: I actually kind of watching their film, I kind of
- 26:03Speaker 1: respect their attempts at play designing, game planning, play calling,
- 26:10Speaker 1: I think that what they're trying to do, everything they're
- 26:12Speaker 1: trying to do, does have a purpose and a reason
- 26:14Speaker 1: to it. A lot of times you watch teams, you're like,
- 26:17Speaker 1: they're just running plays. Like South Carolina, they're just running
- 26:19Speaker 1: plays out there. Again, I'm taking a shot at South Carolina.
- 26:22Speaker 1: My bad. I didn't mean to do that. But they
- 26:25Speaker 1: run things, and it makes sense. And they try to
- 26:28Speaker 1: do things. They give you a look, and then they'll
- 26:30Speaker 1: do something off of that look. They'll give you that
- 26:32Speaker 1: same look, and they'll do something different off that look.
- 26:34Speaker 1: So they give you things to worry about, give you
- 26:35Speaker 1: things to look at. But they do try to make
- 26:38Speaker 1: it easy on their quarterbacks. He's not limited in his abilities.
- 26:42Speaker 1: He can make the throws downfield. He's just not this
- 26:45Speaker 1: big superstar wow factor type of quarterback. He's a safe quarterback.
- 26:50Speaker 1: He's very good. He operates their system. He's accurate with
- 26:53Speaker 1: the ball. And he's not going to put you in
- 26:55Speaker 1: bad situations because of a dumb mistake. Well, how do
- 26:58Speaker 1: you defend a quarterback like that? What do you try
- 27:00Speaker 1: to do if a quarterback like that's kind of solid
- 27:02Speaker 1: all the way around? It feels like he does stay
- 27:04Speaker 1: composed pretty well. Yeah, I think at some point in
- 27:07Speaker 1: a game like this, think at some point it's just
- 27:11Speaker 1: like my guys are better than your guys like we
- 27:14Speaker 1: talked about their their third leading receiver has 125 yards
- 27:17Speaker 1: receiving on the season so they don't have like this
- 27:21Speaker 1: high powered offense by any means you just stay disciplined
- 27:25Speaker 1: like we we showed four clips of basically the same
- 27:28Speaker 1: play naked bootleg with sliders underneath it yeah the first
- 27:31Speaker 1: time they hit for a 30 40 yard gain the
- 27:34Speaker 1: next three times it was like a three or four
- 27:35Speaker 1: yard gain just stay disciplined in what you do and
- 27:39Speaker 1: They're not going to be able to consistently move the
- 27:41Speaker 1: ball down the field. They're going to take some shots,
- 27:44Speaker 1: and they might even get a shot. But I think
- 27:46Speaker 1: their offensive guards, their left and right guard, I think
- 27:49Speaker 1: they are a weak point on their offensive line. And
- 27:51Speaker 1: I think our defensive tackles, I think I'm going to
- 27:53Speaker 1: look for Deuce Gerald to have another big game and
- 27:56Speaker 1: some high, big impact plays. And then offensively, on the
- 28:00Speaker 1: offensive side of the ball, just don't overthink this one.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Do not overthink this game plan. That's what A &
- 28:09Speaker 1: M and South Carolina both did. Both of those teams
- 28:14Speaker 1: should have beat Kentucky, and they blew it. Just because
- 28:17Speaker 1: of offensive play calling, in my opinion. Which portion of it?
- 28:20Speaker 1: The not running the football when you're up? Yeah, the
- 28:23Speaker 1: not running the football when you're up. Not running the
- 28:25Speaker 1: football when you're down. Run the football against this crew.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And just run a stupid play. Just overthinking yourself. Was
- 28:36Speaker 1: it third and one they threw the... Receiver screen across
- 28:38Speaker 1: the field. Oh, God. Yeah. With a giant head quarterback. Yeah,
- 28:45Speaker 1: he's literally 7'3, 300 pounds. They faked the sneak and
- 28:52Speaker 1: threw a wide receiver screen to the wide side of
- 28:53Speaker 1: the field. Never expected it. Never expected it. It probably
- 28:56Speaker 1: came out like a duck, and it hit the guy's
- 28:58Speaker 1: hands like a brick. It was the dumbest thing I've
- 29:03Speaker 1: ever seen. You could get to 1,003 by the time
- 29:05Speaker 1: it got there, probably. 1,001. yeah anyway if you want.
- 29:12Speaker 6: To see what play we're talking about go watch eye

- 30:50Speaker 6: Can you feel that B-A-S-S, All right, welcome back in
- 31:18Speaker 6: OTB here on this Thursday morning.
- 31:26Speaker 1: It was in the 60s this morning. Was it? Yeah.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Not a big deal. My watch still says it's 65
- 31:34Speaker 1: out there. It's probably in here. It's 55 in here.
- 31:38Speaker 1: That feels great. It was hot yesterday. It was... It's
- 31:42Speaker 1: cold right now. Got the goosebumps.
- 31:47Speaker 5: It's chilly in here.
- 31:48Speaker 1: Is it? Mm-hmm. It's coming right here. Yeah. Sure. Now,
- 31:53Speaker 1: it is warmer where you're at than back here, for sure.
- 31:56Speaker 5: That doesn't make any sense.
- 31:57Speaker 1: That doesn't make zero sense.
- 31:59Speaker 5: Because there's vents there, too, so I just.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I mean, there's a giant heat light shining on him.
- 32:04Speaker 5: And on Matt.
- 32:05Speaker 1: I mean, I don't... This seat right here. Does Abe Lincoln's?
- 32:08Speaker 1: This seat right here is different. Built different. Yeah. I mean,
- 32:11Speaker 1: I feel like the air would go that way.
- 32:14Speaker 6: The headphone jack, it might not work. But the air,
- 32:17Speaker 6: apparently working?
- 32:19Speaker 1: Yeah. All right. It's still not working, that little headphone jack? No,
- 32:21Speaker 1: it's not.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Dang.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Dang, dude. I can faintly hear you out of my
- 32:25Speaker 1: left ear. That's brutal. It's all right, though. It's not
- 32:30Speaker 1: so bad when Matt starts yapping sometimes. I preach. Me, too.
- 32:33Speaker 1: I don't want to hear myself.
- 32:37Speaker 6: So y'all mentioned the potential weather. that could affect LSU-Kentucky.
- 32:43Speaker 6: There's some other marquee matchups that it is certainly going
- 32:47Speaker 6: to affect, right?
- 32:48Speaker 5: Bama-Georgia.
- 32:48Speaker 1: Yeah, like what are they going to do with that
- 32:50Speaker 1: bad boy?
- 32:51Speaker 6: That's a game that you've got to kind of be careful,
- 32:53Speaker 6: like trying to move and trying to.
- 32:55Speaker 3: Bondi just played in the Dome.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Saints are playing in the Dome. Sunday. Did you do
- 33:03Speaker 1: that on Saturday?
- 33:06Speaker 5: Wait, isn't the one in Atlanta a Dome or no?
- 33:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it is.
- 33:10Speaker 6: I don't know if the Falcons play at home. I
- 33:12Speaker 6: would assume they did because they were on the road.
- 33:15Speaker 5: They do play at home.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Would that matter? I don't know if they have anything.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I don't know. Depends on how fast it moves, though. Because,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I mean, if this arrives early Saturday, like they say,
- 33:26Speaker 1: what time is that game? It's a night game, right? Yeah, 630.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I mean, the field will be soaked, but, I mean,
- 33:32Speaker 1: it actually could be out of there. It's the first
- 33:35Speaker 1: one we've had in a while.
- 33:40Speaker 5: Yeah, but I don't even think it's not going to
- 33:42Speaker 5: really affect us.
- 33:45Speaker 6: That's a game that you've got to be careful.
- 33:49Speaker 1: You don't want to move that one. We should let
- 33:52Speaker 1: them play at Tiger Stadium. Why? Because we know what
- 33:57Speaker 1: it's like. We're not using it. Yeah, we're not using it.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Make some money off some concessions.
- 34:07Speaker 6: I would assume Florida and South Carolina are probably going
- 34:09Speaker 6: to get some of that, too. I mean, I know
- 34:11Speaker 6: Gainesville's a little bit east.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Yeah, but, I mean, Pensacola's going to get hit pretty hard. So, yeah,
- 34:16Speaker 1: I mean... Yeah, my.
- 34:18Speaker 6: So, you know, Katie's family lives... Her brother and his
- 34:22Speaker 6: family in Pensacola. Her mom and dad in Panama City Beach.
- 34:25Speaker 6: And I'm pretty sure that... I'm pretty sure it's like
- 34:30Speaker 6: a mandatory evacuation. My mom and stepdad, they were at
- 34:34Speaker 6: the beach in Destin. And they're probably on their way
- 34:38Speaker 6: back right now because they... we're told you have to leave.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Right.
- 34:42Speaker 6: So, I mean, they're expecting it to be bad.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Because a lot of.
- 34:45Speaker 6: Times they don't, in that area, because they're so callous
- 34:49Speaker 6: to it, they're kind of like, hey, you really should.
- 34:53Speaker 6: You know, they give a stern, hey, you should get
- 34:55Speaker 6: out of here. But if they tell you, like, you
- 34:57Speaker 6: got to go, they're expecting something pretty bad.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. And, I mean, I guess in that situation,
- 35:02Speaker 1: we all know, I mean, it's best to kind of
- 35:04Speaker 1: over-prepare and be underwhelmed, potentially. Never know. Anyway, I hope
- 35:10Speaker 1: everybody stays safe out there. I guess they're still trying to, like,
- 35:13Speaker 1: figure out all the paths. Yeah, we got a lot
- 35:15Speaker 1: of family. I mean, Lacey was about– because we got
- 35:17Speaker 1: fall break this weekend. And Lacey was going to take
- 35:20Speaker 1: the kiddos down to see the fam in the panhandle
- 35:24Speaker 1: over there. So, you know, obviously not going to be
- 35:27Speaker 1: doing that. So, hope everybody stays safe out there. Hope
- 35:31Speaker 1: it is– I know, all those paths, man. Yeah, I mean,
- 35:34Speaker 1: there's your spaghetti models. That's as tight as you've ever
- 35:37Speaker 1: seen it. Yeah, that is pretty tight, right? Like, usually there's, like,
- 35:41Speaker 1: a couple that go way off. It looks like it's
- 35:42Speaker 1: going to be all the Pensacola.
- 35:44Speaker 6: I mean, Pensacola is going to get, I mean, Pensacola,
- 35:46Speaker 6: you know, being, like, right there, like, literally in the
- 35:49Speaker 6: middle of it.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Pensacola and Mobile. Like, Pensacola, you know, always, I believe, like, Craig,
- 35:55Speaker 1: if I'm wrong, I believe it's always on the eastern
- 35:56Speaker 1: side of the eye that takes the worst. And, like,
- 36:00Speaker 1: that eye is going, like, over Mobile and Pensacola. That's where, like, Katie's,
- 36:04Speaker 1: most of her family lives. So, yeah. Anyway, a lot
- 36:08Speaker 1: of prayers up to everybody. And, you know, it seems
- 36:13Speaker 1: like this is a yearly thing that we all do.
- 36:16Speaker 1: But it's been so quiet, though. It has been. And
- 36:19Speaker 1: all of a sudden. Last couple of years. Yeah, usually
- 36:21Speaker 1: a lot of these things happen because, like, you see
- 36:22Speaker 1: it out in the Atlantic and it's coming. And you're
- 36:25Speaker 1: tracking it for a while. This one was, I feel
- 36:29Speaker 1: like this one kind of just popped up. It did. Mm-hmm.
- 36:33Speaker 5: Atlanta FC plays in Mercedes-Benz on Saturdays.
- 36:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:40Speaker 5: So they wouldn't be able to do that.
- 36:42Speaker 6: And they sell out before you say, like, who watches?
- 36:44Speaker 6: Before you do that whole deal.
- 36:47Speaker 5: They sell more than SEC football, though?
- 36:49Speaker 1: That's like, what's the problem? Whatever their capacity for soccer is. Yeah,
- 36:54Speaker 1: I'm going to go play at the local park. Or
- 36:58Speaker 1: at everybody's watch house. The local bar.
- 37:01Speaker 5: On the bleachers.
- 37:01Speaker 1: That's a wooden bleachers out there. Yeah, they got three rows.
- 37:07Speaker 1: Ten yards wide. Keep talking. I'm going to get the.
- 37:15Speaker 1: You're right. They should do that one instead of Bama, Georgia.
- 37:20Speaker 5: Who do y'all think wins that game? We don't see
- 37:24Speaker 5: who's actually good.
- 37:27Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, that's the thing, right? Like, Georgia's look great.
- 37:29Speaker 1: I haven't played anybody.
- 37:31Speaker 3: I hope both teams have a horrible time.
- 37:34Speaker 1: You're about to say it's fun. You're like, no, no, no.
- 37:36Speaker 1: I mean, the opposite. I hope Georgia wins because I fear,
- 37:40Speaker 1: I fear the Bama team right now. Because if they
- 37:45Speaker 1: get hot, like, and Russell keeps gaining the confidence and
- 37:49Speaker 1: getting better and better, that is a dangerous team. I
- 37:50Speaker 1: just think they're good, right? I mean, they haven't been
- 37:53Speaker 1: great in the first halves, and they've had, like, they've
- 37:55Speaker 1: kind of been.
- 37:56Speaker 6: But if they're like that against Georgia, they're going to
- 37:59Speaker 6: make you pay more than the teams they've played.
- 38:01Speaker 1: No, I mean, they will. To Jake's point, dude, they
- 38:03Speaker 1: were in a dogfight in the first half against Florida State.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Georgia was in a dogfight versus Vandy. 43,992 is the
- 38:08Speaker 1: Atlanta soccer attendance per game. That's inflated. That's inflated. Anyways, yeah,
- 38:25Speaker 1: Georgia would make him pay. Georgia would, but Georgia was
- 38:28Speaker 1: in a dogfight versus Vandy. Vandy's kind of done it
- 38:31Speaker 1: a lot in the first half. I'm a big believer
- 38:33Speaker 1: in Gunnar Stockton. Gunnar has kind of been there, done that.
- 38:37Speaker 1: Keelan's hot right now. I think these are two good teams,
- 38:40Speaker 1: and I think my point, I think my view is
- 38:43Speaker 1: shared with a lot of people that we don't know
- 38:47Speaker 1: how good Bama is, but I fear that they're really good.
- 38:50Speaker 5: I agree with that because... The first time that I've.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Watched them here and there, but the first time I really,
- 38:56Speaker 3: really watched them was versus Mississippi State, and neither team
- 38:59Speaker 3: looked great in the first half, but then Alabama just
- 39:03Speaker 3: really pulled away and scored on nearly every single drive. Now,
- 39:09Speaker 3: I don't know how good Mississippi State is because that
- 39:11Speaker 3: was the first time I watched them, and, you know,
- 39:13Speaker 3: there's a lot of talk about Kamario Taylor, but I
- 39:15Speaker 3: just don't know enough about them to be like, that
- 39:18Speaker 3: was a good win or that was a bad loss.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I don't know. We're going to learn today. I think
- 39:25Speaker 1: we know Georgia's good. And we probably know that they're
- 39:30Speaker 1: really good. We know Bama's good. We don't know if
- 39:34Speaker 1: they're really good, but I fear that they are. And
- 39:36Speaker 1: like against Florida State, it was 26-21 at halftime. So
- 39:40Speaker 1: that's another one that came out sleepy in the first half.
- 39:42Speaker 1: They never play well against Florida State. They really don't.
- 39:46Speaker 1: That's not a good Florida State team. They were a
- 39:48Speaker 1: good team last year and beat them. They're better. They're
- 39:50Speaker 1: better than they were last year. They just beat Virginia,
- 39:52Speaker 1: but they were, they were, they were booty cheeks last
- 39:56Speaker 1: year and they beat Bama who was a playoff team.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Like booty, booty, booty. That's bad. Yeah.
- 40:05Speaker 6: I think Alabama, the one thing that they're going to
- 40:07Speaker 6: try to get done over the next couple of weeks
- 40:12Speaker 6: is try to find like where they're going to get
- 40:14Speaker 6: their rushing attack from.
- 40:15Speaker 1: Um, They've spread the wealth.
- 40:18Speaker 6: They've had a back with 51 carries, 42 carries, 26 carries.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Keelan Russell's had 37 carries. Listening to Kalen Nabor, they
- 40:26Speaker 6: do want to find somebody that they can kind of
- 40:28Speaker 6: lean on a little bit more. Maybe be, not the
- 40:32Speaker 6: bell cow, but 1A. So that's one of the things.
- 40:35Speaker 6: We know what Keelan Russell is. We know what Ryan
- 40:38Speaker 6: Coleman Williams, he looks like he's finally gotten over that
- 40:41Speaker 6: hump of having the yips. So Brooks is the second
- 40:46Speaker 6: leading receiver there. They've got A lot of things figured out.
- 40:48Speaker 6: I think the running attack is probably the one thing
- 40:51Speaker 6: that they know they've got to get a little bit
- 40:53Speaker 6: better on to go to where they want to go.
- 40:59Speaker 1: But Russell's been really good. Baby.
- 41:03Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Forgot. You're invested. I'm invested. All right. We'll take a break.
- 41:08Speaker 1: They didn't choose to invest. It was given to them.
- 41:11Speaker 1: We'll get more OTB when we come back here.
- 41:13Speaker 2: Off the bench.

- 41:53Speaker 1: that they got great customer service. They are here to

- 42:38Speaker 6: Yeah, I know what this is. So, so, yeah.

- 42:50Speaker 8: If you can't call out a price, let's say I
- 42:52Speaker 8: call out a lot. I got like platinum and white.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Golds, traditional gold. I'm changing grills every day. Like Jay
- 42:58Speaker 1: changed clothes. I might be grilled out nicely.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Oh.
- 43:01Speaker 8: All right, welcome back in, OTB. I did want to
- 43:06Speaker 8: give a shout-out to U-High 8th grade football team.
- 43:08Speaker 1: The Huddies in 7th grade. Starting on the eighth grade team.
- 43:32Speaker 1: Can't tell him nothing right now. Not that you ever
- 43:34Speaker 1: could with Huddy. But.
- 43:36Speaker 5: Untouchable.
- 43:37Speaker 1: They won on the last play of the game against Zachary. Nice, dude.
- 43:41Speaker 1: Walked it off. That's a big deal.
- 43:42Speaker 5: Hail Mary?
- 43:45Speaker 1: Y'all let me know if you think it's a Hail Mary.
- 43:46Speaker 5: I saw the.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Video and like, I feel like for the age group.
- 43:50Speaker 5: Okay. I didn't notice that part of it.
- 43:52Speaker 1: I was going to ask you. So. No, that was just.
- 43:55Speaker 6: You know, the quarterback throws it to the receiver, you know, who's.
- 43:59Speaker 6: Steps back, catches it, and he throws it about 30
- 44:01Speaker 6: yards into the end zone.
- 44:04Speaker 1: Catch. Do we consider that a Hail Mary? Was there
- 44:07Speaker 1: only one receiver? In the area? I think so. Maybe two.
- 44:12Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, I would just say double pass. Yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 1: I mean, if there's only one receiver. I mean, if
- 44:15Speaker 1: they're all standing in the end zone and somebody besides
- 44:18Speaker 1: a quarterback threw it, I would say that would be
- 44:20Speaker 1: Hail Mary. Either way, it worked. It doesn't matter. It's
- 44:25Speaker 1: actually probably a more exciting way.
- 44:27Speaker 5: Hell yeah.
- 44:27Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 44:29Speaker 5: Shout out 8th Grade U High.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Yeah. Shout out. Let's go. And then Memphis was the
- 44:35Speaker 1: water boy.
- 44:36Speaker 3: I saw his little legs in that video.
- 44:39Speaker 1: They're celebrating too.
- 44:42Speaker 5: He was moving.
- 44:43Speaker 1: That's good fun. Where were y'all playing? In Zachary. Okay. Oh.
- 44:51Speaker 1: Hostile territory.
- 44:52Speaker 5: Road trip.
- 44:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Nice, dude. Yeah, I know.
- 44:55Speaker 5: They're hostile.
- 44:55Speaker 1: Glad you have to go silent count. I did pulling guard, huh? Oh, yeah.
- 45:05Speaker 6: I say, because the game started at 5. I don't
- 45:08Speaker 6: get done until 5. And so by the time I
- 45:11Speaker 6: got to Zachary, the game almost had been over. So
- 45:14Speaker 6: I'm getting, like, updates. You're saying your house is far
- 45:17Speaker 6: from Zachary.
- 45:17Speaker 1: Yes. I'm getting updates. And then so Huddy comes home.
- 45:21Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, you pulled a lot, huh? He goes,
- 45:24Speaker 1: 40 times. The game started at 5. I know. That's tough.
- 45:30Speaker 1: That is tough.
- 45:30Speaker 5: That's tough. Can we at least do six?
- 45:34Speaker 1: Traffic's not even bad at that time. That's the thing.
- 45:39Speaker 1: How are parents supposed to get to? Scoot over there. Seriously,
- 45:42Speaker 1: anybody that works, how are parents supposed to get to Zachary?
- 45:45Speaker 1: I don't know. No matter kind of where you live,
- 45:48Speaker 1: unless you live in Zachary. Yeah. It's all good. Shout out.
- 45:51Speaker 1: It was fun. Well, you live the furthest possible place
- 45:54Speaker 1: away from there. Yes, we do. Nice. All right. We
- 45:57Speaker 1: will take a break. We've got more, including quarterback rankings,
- 46:00Speaker 1: when we come back.
- 46:01Speaker 2: Off the Bench.
- 46:04Speaker 1: You ready to go to quarterback rankings? Okay, good tease.
