- 0:13Hello you guys, and welcome back to another episode of the Hawkrel Energy Podcast.
- 0:17I'm your host, Kaylie, and this is your weekly reminder that it's
- 0:20a new day, a new week, a new mindset, and another day
- 0:24if you become the Hawkrel Energy want to attract. Hello you guys, Happy
- 0:28Tuesday and happy final days of November. We are legit days away from December,
- 0:37one of my favorite months of the year, and I'm just so excited
- 0:43to just be in the holiday spirit get Christmas shopping done. I just finished
- 0:48all my Christmas decord this past weekend, so definitely make sure to follow me
- 0:51on socials if you don't. If you guys want to see the three parts
- 0:55of me decorating my entire home. It feels so freaking cozy here, It's
- 1:00insane. I'm so obsessed with my house during the holidays, like I am
- 1:04a Christmas girl, Like if I could have my Christmas to core up all
- 1:07year round, I would. I just feel my home looks so much better.
- 1:11I think everybody can agree with me on that. And I also feel
- 1:14like when January comes and I take down all the Christmas decorations, my house
- 1:17feels so empty and all I want to do is buy more decord to make
- 1:22the house feel more full. I don't know, there's just something about Christmas
- 1:26decor that just brings immediate coziness. And I really think that Christmas tree is
- 1:30something that really brings cozy vibes. Like having the Christmas tree lit in your
- 1:36living room, sitting on your sofa, curling up watching a Christmas movie like
- 1:41that is the ultimate cozy vibe, like the definition of the perfect night in
- 1:45my opinion. So I'm just so excited for December and I'm excited to see
- 1:49what's in store for me and Zach, my family. You guys all that
- 1:53it's going to be a great month. I can just feel it. But
- 1:56I wanted to give you guys a bit of a reminder. I think I
- 1:59meant this. I don't know if it was last week's episode or the following
- 2:01week, but I have decided to do vlogmis this year, but on TikTok
- 2:06and Instagram. So I am debating on doing it on Instagram as well,
- 2:10because I know there is some followers that don't follow me on TikTok or don't
- 2:15have TikTok that follow me on Instagram that would like to see that content.
- 2:19So I'm still on the fence of doing it. I will keep you guys
- 2:23posted, but I'm for sure doing it on TikTok that is one hundred percent
- 2:28happening. I will most likely be doing voiceovers a mix of like face to
- 2:32face of log style me chatting to the camera, but I would think majority
- 2:37voiceovers of just day to day things that are happening in my life, like
- 2:39me recording the podcast, you know, appointments that I go to, things
- 2:44that I do for work, literally just my life essentially evenings with Zach,
- 2:49my weekends. Like it's going to be a crazy twenty four days. So
- 2:52if you guys have never heard of logmis, typically what happens is that you
- 2:54film your life for twenty four days straight, which means I will be posting
- 2:59for twenty fourty straight until Christmas. So this is definitely not like my normal,
- 3:04like it is my normal kind of content, but it isn't. So
- 3:07I definitely feel like it's going to be fun and different, and I'm kind
- 3:10of excited for the change, and I'm excited to like really push myself to
- 3:15keep a consistent routine of filming every single day, and who knows, maybe
- 3:19in January, I can keep it going and keep the vlog style content going
- 3:23if you guys love it. So I'm really excited to see what happens in
- 3:27December, and yeah, just seeing potentially new followers, new faces, and
- 3:31hoping that you guys that are listening are following along as well. So I
- 3:35wanted to remind you guys about that, just because I think it's going to
- 3:38be really, really fun. I have a lot of exciting things happening in
- 3:40December. I'm going back to New York for a day to try on my
- 3:43wedding dress one more time and hopefully saying yes to it. That is the
- 3:46goal. And then I have hair appointments, holiday nail appointments, just a
- 3:53bunch of stuff going on, probably some stuff that Zach and I will do.
- 3:55So it's just gonna be yeah, super super fun. So I'm really
- 3:59excited to yeah, film every day for the next twenty four days. It's
- 4:02gonna be busy, and I still haven't figured out how I'm gonna manage the
- 4:06podcast with all that. I think what I'll probably do is I will probably
- 4:11have to film evening routines on the days where I will be literally spending my
- 4:14days editing and recording, just because that literally takes like, not all day,
- 4:17but half of my day, and I think it might be kind of
- 4:20boring for my vlogs to be just me sitting in a chair editing for four
- 4:26hours. But we shall see. I'm gonna figure it out in those moments.
- 4:29But I also wanted to give you guys a bit of a sneak peek
- 4:31of something that I've been planning for the past few weeks now that literally nobody
- 4:36knows about except you guys. So I am doing three days of giveaways.
- 4:43So I am going to be sharing three different giveaways on a different day,
- 4:47and I will also be doing a bonus giveaway to my podcast listeners only.
- 4:54I will be announcing a giveaway prize and all that in the next episode of
- 4:59Things that You're I Have to Do for the month of December, and I
- 5:00will be selecting two winners to win a specific prize. So I'm not going
- 5:04to tell you any more details until next week, but it just gives you
- 5:06guys a bit of a sneak peek of what is happening. I really wanted
- 5:11to keep a separate contest for my podcast listeners because I feel like You guys
- 5:15are truly my biggest support system. You guys know almost everything about me.
- 5:19We're besties, and I just feel like I need to do something for you
- 5:21guys, specifically because you guys just mean so much to me. And I'm
- 5:27still going to be also doing an Instagram and TikTok giveaway, so you can
- 5:30obviously enter both of them, it does not matter. The benefit to the
- 5:33podcast one is that it will be worldwide, whereas the Instagram one it will
- 5:38only be US and Canadian base, just because it is physical product and I
- 5:41cannot ship it all around the world. So that's why the Instagram and TikTok
- 5:46one is different than the one on the podcast, So it doesn't matter where
- 5:49you live for the contest here on the podcast, but it will matter for
- 5:55the physical products for the giveaway I will be doing on Instagram and TikTok.
- 5:59But I just want to get back to you guys because you guys mean so
- 6:02much to me. I'm so beyond grateful for you guys supporting me since either
- 6:05day one or if you're new and you have been listening to my podcast religiously,
- 6:10like, I appreciate you so much, and I just want to give
- 6:12back to my community after such an amazing year, and yeah, I just
- 6:16still can't believe we're going into twenty twenty four. I look back from January
- 6:21to now and just see so much success and so much growth in myself,
- 6:27and I'm so beyond happy with how things have turned out. You know,
- 6:30being engaged this year was obviously a huge one too, and something that I'm
- 6:33going to remember for the rest of my life. And next year is going
- 6:38to be super exciting too. You know, I'm getting married in Italy.
- 6:41That coming out of my mouth just sounds so crazy, but I'm so beyond
- 6:45grateful to have you guys in my life, and I want to make sure
- 6:46I give back to you. So yeah, that's what we're gonna be doing.
- 6:50As you guys can see by the episode title, I really wanted to
- 6:53talk about how we're going to survive this winter season, seasonal depression, winter
- 6:59blues all that. I've talked about it many times here on the podcast.
- 7:02How I do go through seasonal depression. I have been told by my doctor
- 7:09that I do have it and my therapist, so it is something that I
- 7:12have been diagnosed with. I am fully okay with it. It is what
- 7:16it is. It is the reality. I would love to say I just
- 7:19want to move to another place for four months and then come back home for
- 7:24the rest of the year, but financially that is just not possible. So
- 7:29I have found ways to help me cope through my seasonal depression. And know
- 7:34that a lot of these things are very easy for you to do the colder
- 7:39months. Just the gloominess all that, it is what it is, and
- 7:42it is the reality. And I'm sure I'm not alone here. I'm sure
- 7:45there is a lot of you guys that might be going through the same thing,
- 7:47and know that you are not alone and that it is okay to go
- 7:51through times like that. So you know, not everybody's mental health is going
- 7:56to be okay during this time. But I want to share some things that
- 7:58I have done to help me through my difficult time during the winter season,
- 8:05and just things that make me happy, things that really help me boost my
- 8:09mood and just overall improve my mood. So starting off with a routine.
- 8:15You guys know how much I talk about how important it is to have a
- 8:20routine, creating a small, little step by step thing for yourself every single
- 8:24morning or every single night, whatever works for you. You guys know,
- 8:28for me, I am a morning person. So for me, I like
- 8:31to have a step by step routine that I go through every single morning.
- 8:35I would say during the colder months, I do kind of adapt to a
- 8:39different type of routine. It's still very much the same and consistent, but
- 8:45I would say I do change it up for the colder months. Like in
- 8:48the summer, I typically wake up, do a workout, have my breakfast,
- 8:52I'll usually go on a long walk with Freddy for about thirty minutes or
- 8:56sometimes an hour, you know, make a coffee, do my journaling,
- 9:01whatever. Whereas in the winter, I wouldn't say I'm very consistent with my
- 9:05walking. I'm not gonna lie. I'm gonna be fully transparent here. I
- 9:11hate walking in the freezing cold. It's just literally to me, it's the
- 9:13most like uncomfortable thing ever and I just don't enjoy it. And so for
- 9:18the colder months, I do switch up my routine a bit because I would
- 9:20prefer to walk in the afternoon, where it's essentially the warmest part of the
- 9:24day, versus walking in the morning. So instead I usually wake up early.
- 9:31I usually put a sweater on, socks on, and slippers on.
- 9:35I know that's very specific, but I need to have those things on my
- 9:37body before I leave my bedroom because I get so cold, and my house
- 9:43is at a normal temperature. I just feel like, for some reason,
- 9:46whenever I wake up, I'm so cold and all I want to do is
- 9:50just be cozy. I want to be comfortable. So I make sure that
- 9:52I have my slippers, my socks, and my sweater on. Come downstairs,
- 9:56and usually I will turn on the Christmas lights. We're being specific for
- 10:01right now, this is what I'm doing. And then usually I will do
- 10:05a workout. If it is a workout day. I usually have a pretty
- 10:09consistent workout schedule, but I would say it's like on and off each day.
- 10:11So like I work out one day, I don't work out the next
- 10:13day, I work out the next day, I don't work out the next
- 10:16day. So I would say, right now, I'm consistently working out for
- 10:20four days a week, and that's just something I've been happy with, very
- 10:22comfortable with that. That just works for me. So on my days off
- 10:26where I'm not working out, I'm usually making breakfast, doing my journaling,
- 10:30answering emails, my coffee, all that. If it is a workout day.
- 10:33I'll typically turn on my Christmas lights, do a Pilates workout or some
- 10:37type of workout at home, or go to spin co, make some breakfast,
- 10:41the same thing, journaling, emails, coffee, all that. So
- 10:46that's kind of my consistent routine right now. But I've changed it up more
- 10:50so in terms of, you know, the walking thing. Usually i would
- 10:52walk super early in the morning with Freddy for a longer period of time,
- 10:56but now I've adapted it to a later part of the day. So so
- 11:00that's just kind of something that I've adapted to for the colder months. But
- 11:03being consistent with a routine, I feel like it has helped me mentally because
- 11:07it's something I look forward to every single day. I know I'm doing this
- 11:11routine to better myself, and it makes me feel good doing it. So
- 11:15being consistent with a routine really does make a huge difference in your mindset and
- 11:20your mental health and all that. So it's just strongly something I believe in.
- 11:24If you're someone that doesn't have a routine, I think it's really important
- 11:26to gradually try and create one for yourself because, as I said, it
- 11:31just keeps you staying productive. Staying motivated, and it really does make a
- 11:35difference in your entire day if you do have something to do every single morning
- 11:39and it creates a positive and productive mindset for the rest of your day.
- 11:45That's just something I truly believe works. Another thing that I would say is
- 11:50really beneficial for surviving this winter season is journaling. I know I always talk
- 11:54about these things when it comes to becoming the better version of yourself all that,
- 11:58but I do feel like in the colder months, this is the best
- 12:01time to reflect and write down what you are grateful for. Journaling really is
- 12:07a great way to improve your mood, your self esteem, and just all
- 12:11around positivity. Personally, I have had this journal that I got from paprill
- 12:18I think it's been a year now, and personally it's just a plain notebook.
- 12:22I don't have anything written down on it. I create my own journal,
- 12:26prompts, my own affirmations, things I'm grateful for, all that.
- 12:31Like, that's something I do myself. I don't follow any specific guidelines.
- 12:35There's specific journals like the five Minute Journal for an example. If you guys
- 12:39don't know what that is, you guys can get at Indigo. But it's
- 12:41essentially a journal that tells you everything that you need to write down, and
- 12:46I would say it's the perfect journal for beginners. So if you're someone that
- 12:48doesn't currently journal now, I would recommend that one as a great starting point.
- 12:54That was my first journal. Obviously I finished it, and you know,
- 12:56being in a consistent routine of doing that for anime high year, I
- 13:00was able to just get my own journal and have blank sheets of paper and
- 13:05be able to customize it myself and write down things that personally make me feel
- 13:09good before starting my day. So yeah, if you don't have a journal
- 13:13specifically something that you could include into your everyday routine, I just think it's
- 13:18something that's so easy. It takes five minutes out of your day to do
- 13:20it. And let's be honest, if you want to manifest your dream life
- 13:24and manifest things that you truly want to happen in your life, then you
- 13:28need to start journaling because a lot of the things that I manifested have came
- 13:33true, just like vision boards, like everything like that is just so crucial
- 13:37I find, So that is definitely something that I really strive to do.
- 13:41Another tip is treating yourself once in a while and what I mean by that
- 13:46is that I personally feel like whenever it's super cold outside, I don't want
- 13:52to leave my home. I don't want to leave at all. I want
- 13:54to stay on my couch. I want to just work. And definitely that
- 13:58is not the best way to approach a situation. Not gonna lie like coming
- 14:01from someone who you know has struggled through mental health issues of doing that and
- 14:07working alone and all that, it definitely is not the best for your mental
- 14:11health. So finding ways to get out of your house, either once a
- 14:13day or once every other day, is so so important. So you can
- 14:18find ways to treat yourself in the smallest way. It could be just going
- 14:22to get yourself a cup of coffee or just you know, going to your
- 14:26favorite coffee shop to get work done, or treating yourself to go get your
- 14:30nails done, whether it's a pedicure or a manicure, taking the day off
- 14:33work and going to have a spa day with your friend or just by yourself.
- 14:35Like, find things that you would love to do that you would be
- 14:39doing to treat yourself, because I think that's something that's going to allow you
- 14:43to look forward to and it gets you out of the house. And as
- 14:46I said, during the colder months, everybody has a hard time getting out
- 14:50of the house. I'm a victim to it. As I said, I
- 14:52hate leaving my home, even if it's just going to get groceries. Like
- 14:56fully being transparent here. It's not like I'm a homebody. It's just I
- 14:58do not like the cold. Like if it was summer, I'd have no
- 15:01issues doing anything, but during the colder season, I get it. There's
- 15:05people like me who do struggle to go to the house. But you just
- 15:09need to push yourself. And I'm telling you right now, you will feel
- 15:11so much better. Even just getting some fresh air. It will make you
- 15:15feel so good. That goes into my next point about making sure that you're
- 15:18going outside, getting your vitamin D for the day and just stepping out in
- 15:22the fresh air. I hate feeling any slight wind on my skin. I
- 15:26truly feel like I actually have some condition. I actually think so I'm not
- 15:30even getting like I just feel like I get so cold so easily. Like
- 15:35going outside for a walk yesterday with Freddy, I was wearing a like Lululemon
- 15:39head band around my ears, so I'm like, okay, I'll keep my
- 15:41ears warm. Whatever I come in the house, my ears were literally numb,
- 15:46like I could not feel them, And even Zach was like, I
- 15:48actually think you need to go to the doctors because I just like my hands
- 15:50and certain areas of like my body just gets super cold. So there is
- 15:54actually a condition like that my fiance's mom, so Zach's mom has a condition.
- 16:00I forget what it's called, but anyways, for some reason, I
- 16:03get super cold, and let's be honest, I should probably dress warmer in
- 16:07conditions like this, like wear hat, wear a scarf, put on mits.
- 16:10If I have to wear double pants, I will wear two pairs of
- 16:12pants if I have to. But I think the reality is is that I
- 16:15need to dress better for the weather. And if I dress better for the
- 16:19weather, I will stay warm and I would be more consistent with a good
- 16:23walking schedule and being in the outdoors. So for me, for an example,
- 16:26yesterday, I was really pushing myself to get out of the house and
- 16:30so I took Freddy for a fifteen to twenty minute walk. And I know
- 16:33that doesn't sound like a very long time, but for me, I feel
- 16:36like that was like a huge improvement for someone who just avoids the outdoor wind
- 16:41completely. So if you're the kind of person like me where you do struggle
- 16:45to get to the house and go for a walk in the colder season,
- 16:48then just take it gradually. Take a fifteen minute walk, take a ten
- 16:52minute walk, and eventually you might be able to build up to it.
- 16:53Dress warm, dress for the weather, and it's going to feel so much
- 16:57better going on the fresh air. I will admit that pushing myself to do
- 17:00that fifteen to twenty minute walk yesterday and coming back to the house, I
- 17:04felt refreshed. I felt like almost recharged. So yeah, fresh air really
- 17:08does make a huge difference if you do push yourself to get outside. Next
- 17:12is something that I kind of mentioned, which was vitamin D. This is
- 17:15scientifically proven where people who do actually live in cooler cities who don't get as
- 17:21much sunlight lack a lot of vitamin D, meaning that you know, they
- 17:26don't get enough sunlight. So not having enough vitamin D can affect your mental
- 17:30state, it can affect your mood in general. So it is proven that
- 17:36seasonal depression does have a lot to do with lack of sunlight. So obviously
- 17:40I'm not a doctor, I'm not going to say like this is proven.
- 17:41I'm just telling you, like what I've done my research on for myself,
- 17:45for someone who does struggle with seasonal depression, and I have talked to my
- 17:49doctor about this obviously and my therapist, and they recommended to increase my intake
- 17:55of vitamin D, so just taking vitamin every single morning, and so that's
- 17:59what I've been doing. Honestly, I didn't start doing this till about two
- 18:03weeks ago, so I've been taking vitamin D consistently every single morning. And
- 18:07not saying that you guys need to pop bills. Please do not take that
- 18:10advice at all. I'm just saying that, definitely do your own research,
- 18:12talk to your doctor, find ways that you can improve your overall mood.
- 18:17I know, for me, as I said, I do lack vitamin D,
- 18:18so I was told by my doctor to start consistently taking vitamin D every
- 18:22single morning for you whoever long, I need to take it hopefully for a
- 18:27while, until we get more sunshine back and we have our summers back.
- 18:32So obviously I haven't been taking it for too long, so I can't really
- 18:34give any results in terms of how you've been feeling, just because it's only
- 18:37been two weeks, but I can definitely give you guys an update once I've
- 18:41been more consistent with it for a longer period of time and just let you
- 18:45know if it is consistently working. Other ways that I've found to help improve
- 18:51your mood that is scientifically proven to work is red light therapy. I'm sure
- 18:56you guys have heard of that. Infrared saunas. This is something I really
- 19:00want to invest in. There's a lot of places I know in the States
- 19:03that actually have like in Fred's saunas that you could just rent out for not
- 19:07like the day, but like for like a period of time. So like,
- 19:11for an example, if you were to go to a tanning bed,
- 19:14like typically you rent out ten minutes on the tanning bed and that's what you
- 19:15pay for you go in there for ten minutes whatever. So if you were
- 19:19to go into a in fred sauna, you could, you know, rent
- 19:22it out for ten minutes and obviously there's a charge to it. So I
- 19:26know places in the States they have that, but from my knowledge, we
- 19:30don't have anything like that in Ottawa unless I was to go to a spa.
- 19:34So I have definitely been doing my research and been really wanting to invest
- 19:38in a sauna. It's definitely not cheap, not gonna lie, definitely not
- 19:42something that I say everybody can do, and not saying that that's going to
- 19:47cure your mental health at all. I'm just saying that this is something that
- 19:49I've done my own research on that I really really want to get for myself.
- 19:55But as I said, there's definitely other ways you can do it.
- 19:56The red light therapy is a great investment to look into as well. Definitely
- 20:00more affordable options for that, and vitamin D. Vitamin D is very affordable.
- 20:04But anything that you're putting into your body, you should definitely be talking
- 20:08to your doctor first and just making sure that it is good for you.
- 20:12I'm not any medical expert or anything. This is just things that I've done
- 20:17with my doctor and things that I have done to just help improve my mood.
- 20:21And you know what, I'm always learning, I'm always growing, and
- 20:25I'm always trying to find ways to improve my mental health because I am not
- 20:30perfect. I'm far from perfect. So yeah, these are just some things
- 20:33that I really want to share with you guys that, yeah, just really
- 20:36help me through my winter funk. All right, this next one, I'm
- 20:38not even going to touch on too much because I literally talk about this all
- 20:41the time, but just moving your body in general. You guys know that
- 20:45moving your body is so important, But I think one thing that you should
- 20:49really consider doing that is a really great way to motivate yourself and maybe even
- 20:55do with a friend is just trying out a new workout class. I look
- 20:59back at myself in February where I took on spinning for the first time,
- 21:04and that was, honestly the biggest game changer for my mental health was actually
- 21:10sticking to a consistent routine of trying a new workout class and just something that
- 21:15was really really enjoyable to first get into. Right, it was something new,
- 21:18it was something fun. I did it with my girlfriend twice a week.
- 21:21We'd plan dates in the morning on the weekends, all that like,
- 21:23it was the perfect way to boost my mood during the winter season. So
- 21:29this year, I've been really wanting to get consistently into hot yoga. So
- 21:34I went to my first hot yoa class last week. It was so good.
- 21:38It's such a great sweat, but it's also so relaxing. There's something
- 21:41about yoga that I just feel is so calming and cozy and relaxing. As
- 21:47I said, So if you're someone that's really been trying to find a way
- 21:49to motivate themselves to try moving their body or just try something new, I
- 21:55highly recommend looking into trying out new workout classes in your area. So that
- 22:00is something that I'm definitely going to try consistently into my routine. Right now,
- 22:03I do spinning about once or twice a week, so I really like
- 22:06to include hot yoga as well for something that, yeah, could be a
- 22:10part of my routine. I also have a girlfriend who teaches hot pilates,
- 22:12but she does the classes on the other side of where I live in Ottawa,
- 22:18So things like that I just find super not convenient for me. Like
- 22:21I'd rather have a studio within ten minutes of driving distance, you know what
- 22:26I mean. Like that's what's going to get me to that spot every single
- 22:29time, not something that's like thirty minutes away from me. So anyways,
- 22:32I try and find things close by to me because I know I'll stick to
- 22:34my routine if it's something within that distance. I'm sure you guys feel the
- 22:37same way. When you guys have a gym or anything close by, you
- 22:41want it to be in close proximity, because that's what's going to create a
- 22:44consistent routine of going. Another tip I would recommend that I need to be
- 22:48better at when it comes to the winter season, specifically is making sure you're
- 22:52staying social. This is a really hard one for me personally because I do
- 22:57work remote, I do work from home. I don't have employees that work
- 23:00for me currently. I have, you know, my sister that works with
- 23:03me with the odd time and Zach as well, but I don't have a
- 23:07team or anything like that. So usually during the days I do struggle a
- 23:10bit being alone. But I definitely have adapted to that and you know,
- 23:15have improved that a lot within the year of me doing this by myself.
- 23:18I have officially been working social media as my full time thing for over a
- 23:22year now, and I've definitely found ways to help my social interaction. I
- 23:29guess that that makes sense, like social settings, so things that I try
- 23:33to do during the week, since I can't really have any social interactions during
- 23:37the day, just because a lot of my friends work corporate jobs. All
- 23:40that is, I usually try and coordinate things to do with my girlfriends after
- 23:45work. So you know, whether it's a wine night at my place or
- 23:48at their place, or you know, going out for dinner together, or
- 23:51going to spin together, or maybe even booking a nail appointment with my girlfriend.
- 23:55Like just finding things that I would typically do alone but do it with
- 23:59a friend. So spinning has been something that I've been doing with a lot
- 24:02of friends that I really enjoy doing with. Like we'll text each other saying,
- 24:04Oh, I'm booking the five pm class, do you want to come
- 24:07with me? She books a five pm class. We usually talk before the
- 24:10class after the class. It's just a good way of getting that social interaction.
- 24:14But even just booking workout classes in general, even if you're not going
- 24:17with a friend, there's still opportunities to be in a social setting, socialize
- 24:21with people. I always socialize with the instructors, some of the people that
- 24:23also spin with me, just like creating conversations, meeting new people. It's
- 24:27just a great way to ye be in a social setting. It's just workout
- 24:33classes in general. So yeah, I think it's important to really try and
- 24:36stay social, specifically during the winter season as well, just because we all
- 24:40know that everybody is more of a homebody during the winter season, and that's
- 24:44just the reality and if you can find ways, like you know, even
- 24:48getting into new hobbies like for me, getting back into soccer was a huge
- 24:51one for me and being in that social setting has been huge. Every single
- 24:53Sunday I get the socialize with people that I used to play soccer with when
- 24:56I was a kid. Right, So, just great way to stay social
- 25:02is super important. This is the last point I'm going to touch on when
- 25:03it comes to surviving the winter season, but romanticizing your time at home.
- 25:10People do not talk about this enough. Let's find ways to do things at
- 25:15home that make it fun being at home if that makes sense, Like have
- 25:18a night with your fiance or your boyfriend, cooking your favorite comfortable meal together
- 25:22or do it by yourself. If you love to bake, if you love
- 25:23to cook, find your favorite meal, create it. It's just a fun
- 25:26thing to do at home. Have a spa day at home, run a
- 25:30bubble bath, get a book, put on your favorite TV show, have
- 25:33a glass of wine, create a whole ambiance of just relaxation. Have a
- 25:38board game night with your fiance or your husband, or maybe even invite a
- 25:41friend over. Find ways to enjoy your time at home by glamorizing your time
- 25:48and your moments at home. There's so many ways of just enjoying more quality
- 25:52time at home by just glamorizing it. As I said, So, I
- 25:56think that's really important just to yeah, do things at home that make you
- 26:00feel good, that make you look forward to doing it, and just making
- 26:03it more enjoyable. So I would say that would be my ideal guide for
- 26:08surviving this winter season. At the end of the day, everybody's going to
- 26:12go through some winter blues or some funks, or some seasonal depression, and
- 26:15that is just the reality. If you are feeling low during this winter season,
- 26:21know that you are not alone. Everybody goes through these highs and lows
- 26:23during the colder months, and that is okay. Know that good things are
- 26:26coming and that these tips are really great ways to try and boost your mood
- 26:32and get you through the colder months. We all know that it's such a
- 26:34short period of time, and let's be honest, there's a lot more worse
- 26:37things that could be happening in the world right now to you, So don't
- 26:41let the winter blues get to you. But thank you guys so much for
