- 3:52Speaker 3: that loved one, grab that one football up one, and
- 3:59Speaker 3: let's turn known lights as.
- 4:02Speaker 5: It's lights out everybody. That's tonight's episode. It's gonna be
- 4:13Speaker 5: will be. Also, tonight's episode starts we are going to Rome, Italy,
- 4:29Speaker 5: And in the heart of Rome stands one the greatest
- 4:35Speaker 5: and most iconic and blood soak leandmarks in human history.
- 4:43Speaker 3: That call it CeAl two millions is an ancient wonder,
- 4:50Speaker 3: a masterpiece of engineering, a symbol of power to the
- 4:56Speaker 3: Roman Empire. But after dark, some believe it becomes something
- 5:07Speaker 3: else entirely, a place where the dead never truly left.
- 5:15Speaker 3: This is the story of the hauntings of the cult
- 5:21Speaker 3: scene in Rome, Italy. Imagine it the year eighty eighty.
- 5:42Speaker 3: Fifty thousand people supream in unison as Emperor Titus watches
- 5:50Speaker 3: from its throne beneath the blazing sun. Gladiators stand in
- 5:58Speaker 3: the arena only one thing. Most will not live alive,
- 6:11Speaker 3: still clashes, bloodspills, crowds roar. For nearly four hundred years,
- 6:22Speaker 3: the Coloseum was Rome's theater of death. Historians estimate the
- 6:31Speaker 3: hundreds of thousands of people and over a million animals
- 6:37Speaker 3: were slaughtered here. Gladiators, prisoners, Christians, slaves, war captives. Execution
- 6:51Speaker 3: was entertainment, and there was so much pain gathers. Legends
- 7:01Speaker 3: say something remains. The first haunting reports dates back centuries.
- 7:22Speaker 3: Workers restoring the Colosseum claim they heard strange, metallic sounds
- 7:31Speaker 3: in the dead and night. Not construction, not falling stone,
- 7:39Speaker 3: but swords clashing if invisible gladiators were still fighting. Tour
- 7:47Speaker 3: guides speak of phantom cries equally through the empty corridors.
- 7:54Speaker 3: Some visitors plan they hear crowds chanting when there's no
- 7:59Speaker 3: one there, thousands of voices, then silence like the arena itself.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Remembers one security guard in the nineteen seventies. They poorly
- 8:18Speaker 3: quit after seeing what he describes. They say, shadow men
- 8:23Speaker 3: wing through the underground chambers. When he approached, they vanished.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Beneath the arena lies the Hippogrim, a maze of tunnels, cages,
- 8:46Speaker 3: and elevators. This is where animals were kept before battle,
- 8:54Speaker 3: where condemned prisoners waited to die, and where gladiators prepared
- 9:02Speaker 3: for the final moments. Visitors and paranormal investigators say this
- 9:11Speaker 3: is the most active part of the Colosseum. Cold spots
- 9:17Speaker 3: appear without explanation, electronic equipment malfunctions, voices have been captured
- 9:26Speaker 3: on recordings, Whispers in Latin, growls, screams when in EVP session,
- 9:38Speaker 3: literally recorded a voice saying or Latin for dye. Some respects,
- 9:53Speaker 3: some some spect Skeptics argue is just a acousticks wind imagination,
- 10:06Speaker 3: but those who have been there at night say the
- 10:10Speaker 3: atmosphere feels heavy, oppressive, like stepping into the graveyard built
- 10:19Speaker 3: on agony. There is one spirit said to peer more
- 10:25Speaker 3: than one any other. The gladiator witnesses described a tall
- 10:32Speaker 3: shadow when it looks like an ancient armor, standing motionless
- 10:39Speaker 3: in the arena. Some say they are here heavy footsteps
- 10:46Speaker 3: following them. Other report the sounds of dragon chains. Legend
- 10:52Speaker 3: says these could be the spirits of in slate fighters
- 10:59Speaker 3: forced to battle, men who died in their amusement, of
- 11:06Speaker 3: strangers forever trapped in the place of their suffering, but
- 11:14Speaker 3: not all hauntings of unto warriors. Some believe that Coloseum
- 11:21Speaker 3: is haunted by the souls of Christians executed there, though
- 11:27Speaker 3: historians debate how many died inside the arena. Tradition holds
- 11:34Speaker 3: that early martyrs face death here. Locals have reported ghostly
- 11:42Speaker 3: figures kneeling in prayer, white robed apparitions, hymns heard in
- 11:51Speaker 3: empty stone corridors. Some claim these spirits feel peaceful, others
- 11:59Speaker 3: say I feel like warnings. Then there's the story of
- 12:05Speaker 3: a beast Master, a strange tale from medieval accounts. People
- 12:13Speaker 3: claimed to see a ghostly lions, probably in the remains
- 12:17Speaker 3: after sunset, not physical animals, transparent shapes, glowing eyes vanishing
- 12:28Speaker 3: to broken walls. Could they be echoes of thousands of
- 12:32Speaker 3: exotic creatures killed there lions, tigers, bears, elephants, creatures dragged
- 12:44Speaker 3: across the empire to die for sports. Perhaps the most
- 12:52Speaker 3: un settling accounts came from the paranormal team in early
- 12:56Speaker 3: two thousands. They were out inside after midnight, cameras rolling
- 13:06Speaker 3: thermal censors active. At two seventeen am. One microphone picked
- 13:15Speaker 3: up the sound a fully crowded or erupting in applause,
- 13:24Speaker 3: but no one was there. One months later, a teen remember.
- 13:34Speaker 3: One month later, a team number felled a shove from behind,
- 13:40Speaker 3: hard enough to nearly knock over. No one stood near him.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Then they reviewed the footage. They found a dark figure
- 13:52Speaker 3: crossing the arena door across the arena floor to saw
- 13:58Speaker 3: it to be smoked too fast to be human than God.
- 14:06Speaker 3: The Colosseum has survived earthquakes, looting, nearly two thousand years
- 14:14Speaker 3: of decay, but maybe the deeper scars are invisible energy
- 14:22Speaker 3: memory trauma embedded in the stone. Paranormal researchers call it
- 14:30Speaker 3: a residual haunting, the theory that intense suffering can imprint
- 14:38Speaker 3: itself into a place replay in forever. That that is true,
- 14:47Speaker 3: the Colosseum may be one of the most haunted places
- 14:52Speaker 3: on Earth because here death wasn't occasional, it was the
- 15:00Speaker 3: main the event. Today, millions visit The Call See You
- 15:08Speaker 3: every year, most of for history, architecture, wonder but some
- 15:18Speaker 3: leave with stories. They came out of spring, footsteps in
- 15:24Speaker 3: empty hallways, a hand brushing over their shoulder, whispers in
- 15:30Speaker 3: the dark, and unmistakable feeling that someone is watching, waiting, remembering.
- 15:42Speaker 3: So if you're ever find yourself standing in the arena
- 15:47Speaker 3: after sunset and hear the sounds are still ringing through
- 15:53Speaker 3: the ancient stone, don't turn around, because it's the call
- 15:59Speaker 3: seeing and the gangs they never have been ended, and
- 16:08Speaker 3: maybe they just begun. I like that episode. That was
- 16:23Speaker 3: pretty good. If everyone has gone to the Colseum, you know,
- 16:31Speaker 3: let me know what you thought about it. And after
- 16:36Speaker 3: two days episode, you know, most of these places around
- 16:41Speaker 3: the world have seen death like that, and it does
- 16:47Speaker 3: imput on a stone, you know, many of them might
- 16:51Speaker 3: you know castles of Scotland or England or or you know, well,
- 17:01Speaker 3: I've seen more and have had you know, bus throwing
- 17:05Speaker 3: on it. It uh, it does, it does wonders.
- 17:14Speaker 4: You know.
- 17:15Speaker 3: I'm gonna I have some things to share with you tonight.
- 17:21Speaker 3: I'm gonna share some e dps that some people have
- 17:28Speaker 3: shared and I want to see what you guys think,
- 17:33Speaker 3: And let's start with a one like now here we go,
- 18:41Speaker 3: thank you there ipl I'm strong. Yes, it does sound
- 18:45Speaker 3: pretty good, pretty strong. Come listen to me as well.
- 18:50Speaker 3: We do not for anyone that I actually pressed out
- 19:25Speaker 3: one word too fast. But this is from T TJ
- 19:30Speaker 3: and Rose. They were investigating something and they were doing
- 19:36Speaker 3: their their EVP session and as they were talking, one
- 19:43Speaker 3: spirit says that is great. And at first they didn't
- 19:47Speaker 3: know what what it was. They were trying to figure
- 19:50Speaker 3: out if any once said anything or what, but they
- 19:55Speaker 3: got the e v P saying that's great. That is
- 21:02Speaker 3: from the ghost Dad. And as he was asked him him,
- 21:08Speaker 3: do you want me to stay your lead? And our
- 21:12Speaker 3: first party says now then even though he said yes,
- 21:17Speaker 3: it said no, and the other one said, hey, come
- 21:24Speaker 3: back here, come down here. That was that was pretty interesting.
- 21:32Speaker 3: And it looks like he was doing one of the hotels,
- 21:38Speaker 3: and there's a lot of hotels that do a lot
- 21:41Speaker 3: of oh m hm, y b be ps, uh huh.
- 21:53Speaker 3: This one is from the Frank the Frank files, and
- 21:59Speaker 3: let's you won't yes, say about some and how long
- 23:02Speaker 3: was kind of hard to hear because the only thing
- 23:04Speaker 3: here was like the almost It's almost like me trying
- 23:11Speaker 3: to do a podcast with my noisy clock, you know.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Sometimes I get that noisy clock that's in there, don't hear.
- 23:19Speaker 3: The EVP over here is the you know, the the hands,
- 23:27Speaker 3: and it makes it kind of hard on this one today.
- 23:34Speaker 3: And this one is from New Age Peranormal and let's
- 23:39Speaker 3: see what. Let's see what they have here. They're going
- 23:46Speaker 3: to a hotel. Okay, well, this one hear a little
- 24:06Speaker 3: bit of things, but uh that he puts on the
- 24:12Speaker 3: uh infrared, the you know, the uh spectral, you know,
- 24:20Speaker 3: it does the colors, you know, the the heat and everything.
- 24:25Speaker 3: And as he was telling about it, you get one
- 24:30Speaker 3: that says, that's intense. Then you have the other VPC
- 24:36Speaker 3: green and red, and it was let me play it
- 24:43Speaker 3: for you all and and see what you guys hear.
- 24:47Speaker 3: And I don't know why, h see, I was a
- 25:08Speaker 3: lot pretty good. I mean I was actually pretty good.
- 25:11Speaker 3: And having the uh you know, the ghosts actually respond
- 25:17Speaker 3: to that, that was pretty intrigue. It is from Ashley
- 25:30Speaker 3: green Conde. I guess there was a lot of ghostly
- 25:47Speaker 3: uh uh things that was said to her Lady of
- 25:55Speaker 3: the night greetings issues with communication. She was trying to
- 26:06Speaker 3: uh hear things, but having that eleven eleven meaning you
- 26:12Speaker 3: know their special word, you know, that's what I'd like
- 26:17Speaker 3: to do, is you know, if you end up dying
- 26:20Speaker 3: and share a magic work for you know, when to
- 26:24Speaker 3: rough one then come back and you know, don't see
- 26:30Speaker 3: what they did and should they remember. In fact, that's
- 26:33Speaker 3: how Harry Houdini when he was alive, he'd go through
- 26:41Speaker 3: and do a lot seances and there was supposed I
- 26:45Speaker 3: guess when his wife died, they had a special word
- 26:51Speaker 3: that if they didn't go on there. So I want
- 26:55Speaker 3: to talk contact your you know, your your dad wife.
- 27:04Speaker 3: And that's how we get them because they would it
- 27:10Speaker 3: was her. They would say that Victoria if one passes
- 27:18Speaker 3: to say that word and none one had said that word,
- 27:21Speaker 3: and that's how they end up exposing a lot of
- 27:24Speaker 3: them as frauds, and that's how we get a lot
- 27:30Speaker 3: of them. This one's from contract me. This was doing
- 27:38Speaker 3: this is during I guess, so we're doing a hangout
- 27:44Speaker 3: here and they were doing the S O S and
- 27:50Speaker 3: the every one knows what the s o S is
- 27:52Speaker 3: basically it's it's a thing where it shows your body,
- 27:58Speaker 3: but it chose the stick figure as your body. And
- 28:02Speaker 3: if the same stick figure pops up and there's nobody,
- 28:06Speaker 3: it's supposed to be a ghost. And there's a paranormal
- 28:12Speaker 3: investigator who's walking was walking, you know, pretty fast as
- 28:18Speaker 3: you don't know, and that happened to be one right
- 28:21Speaker 3: abobble that popped in. And now he's moving so fast
- 28:28Speaker 3: that when that beep, there was one that was standing
- 28:32Speaker 3: right behind him, but he was you know here or
- 28:36Speaker 3: she was moving so fast that he couldn't you know,
- 28:41Speaker 3: I can't really see it as they see it now,
- 28:44Speaker 3: you don't. This is from a ghost ghost, Dad, Now
- 29:14Speaker 3: this one. There was an SLS footage that one of
- 29:21Speaker 3: the investigators had a EVB recorder and he was trying
- 29:30Speaker 3: to say something and someone had the SLS in front
- 29:35Speaker 3: of him. And what happened was as he was saying something,
- 29:47Speaker 3: and that was an SLS that was a ghost basically
- 29:54Speaker 3: peeking in and slapping the the recorder out his hand.
- 30:02Speaker 3: You know, I was like, you know, a dude stops
- 30:04Speaker 3: seeing him, you suck, But yeah, he slops out of
- 30:08Speaker 3: his hand. And that was that was pretty good. And
- 30:14Speaker 3: oh this one is pretty good here. Yeah, we have
- 30:20Speaker 3: were going through a convenience store and you know, especially
- 30:27Speaker 3: dead of the night, no one's there, no one's supposed
- 30:30Speaker 3: to be there, and all of a sudden, well nowhere,
- 30:37Speaker 3: the door's open and you don't know why. Well, there's
- 30:43Speaker 3: a footage of this convenience store. Footage that catches a ghost.
- 30:54Speaker 3: You know, I try to explain what happens here. That's
- 31:00Speaker 3: the door's opening. What happened was the door's open, and
- 31:14Speaker 3: it goes pretty much is rough them through the chip
- 31:19Speaker 3: pile that's to go struggle through the chip pile, and
- 31:28Speaker 3: actually throws one of it, one of the chips to
- 31:35Speaker 3: the ground. I thought may have fell from the BOTMB shelf,
- 31:39Speaker 3: but actually I just saw it. It flew from from
- 31:44Speaker 3: the top of the shelf to the bottom of the
- 31:48Speaker 3: next at the right hand shelf next to the cash register.
- 31:54Speaker 3: That's a milligant spirit right there. Apparently you didn't like
- 31:57Speaker 3: those chips. But it's just crazy. The doors open itself.
- 32:05Speaker 3: They see the packaging national room and all of a
- 32:10Speaker 3: sudden the chips fly. That's pretty neat. I mean, that's
- 32:16Speaker 3: a pretty good This one here, you know this one
- 32:24Speaker 3: got a lot of you know, different things. You know.
- 32:27Speaker 3: People are like, well, you're close to a radio freak stream,
- 32:30Speaker 3: but I doubt it. So let's hear this one. It
- 32:37Speaker 3: was it looks like he was in a graveyard. Mhm.
- 33:02Speaker 3: I was pretty good. I mean that one said, dad,
- 33:06Speaker 3: be right back that one. Uh, let's see, we're gonna
- 33:15Speaker 3: play more a couple more here, this one here, this
- 33:20Speaker 3: guy's doing a find uh e v P type session
- 33:31Speaker 3: and let's see what he does here. Hm hm oh.
- 34:09Speaker 3: I think there was a screen there, but I know
- 34:12Speaker 3: you hear the footsteps and must to hear something that
- 34:18Speaker 3: that time that all these guys doing that. I was
- 34:26Speaker 3: trying to pausing here doing the e VP in the graveyard.
- 34:31Speaker 3: So let's uh, it's her way. He has to stay here.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Someone said, now leave where are we are watching? Get that?
- 34:59Speaker 3: Now leave we are watching.
- 35:05Speaker 4: H mm hmm.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I get the you get some of those are right?
- 35:09Speaker 3: They leave us alone. Oh yeah, this happens like really fast.
- 35:17Speaker 3: These people are doing a investigation and a in a
- 35:23Speaker 3: living room looks like and right out the bat they
- 35:30Speaker 3: get some activity here and that was off one of
- 35:38Speaker 3: the shelves. A picture fell off the shelf. It looks like,
- 35:47Speaker 3: you know, a little cattoy knocked over. Oh there was
- 35:59Speaker 3: a uh yeah, there was a there was a s
- 36:04Speaker 3: LS picture a person sitting there and laying down. You know,
- 36:11Speaker 3: there was a picture frame that felt and a cat
- 36:15Speaker 3: toy top was over. They noticed that the frame for
- 36:23Speaker 3: a frank and then you see there was sitting there
- 36:30Speaker 3: and all of a sudden he turned around. He was
- 36:33Speaker 3: like laying down on the floor, laying on the couch.
- 36:37Speaker 3: That's pretty good.
- 36:41Speaker 1: M hm.
- 36:44Speaker 6: Oh h.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I try to turn it, turn it down, and but yeah,
- 36:56Speaker 3: that's pretty much it. All those are all the other
- 37:00Speaker 3: ones that are pretty much people sent me that you know,
- 37:04Speaker 3: been on TV, like Ghost Hunters and all that. But
- 37:09Speaker 3: I think that'll be it for the EVPs. I hope
- 37:12Speaker 3: you enjoyed them, and I hope you enjoyed this episode.
- 37:19Speaker 3: And until next time, this is your friendly neighborhood ghost Investigator,
- 37:26Speaker 3: Joe the Ghost Guy. Same enough, stay spooking my friends,
