National AccessAbility Week: Author Event 2026 (Part 1)
AEBC’s first National Accessibility Week Authors Event of 2026 featured two inspiring authors who discussed their books. Hannah Levitt introduced her book. “All About Us: 20 True Tales of Courage and Disability”, highlighting remarkable stories of people with disabilities, including a NASA scientist, a paratriathlete, and a teenage mayor. David Lepofsky discussed his memoir, “Swimming Up Niagara Falls”, sharing his role in securing disability rights to be included in Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms in 1980.
