  Speaker 1: a thirty one day devotion, y'all. Today is to day seven.

  Speaker 1: It is the day of reflection, a day of reflection.

  Speaker 1: Day seven is always a day of reflection, so we

  Speaker 1: are now on a seven day journey. We actually started

  Speaker 1: this We actually started this book on July first, so

  Speaker 1: we didn't start at the beginning of the week. So

  Speaker 1: normally we would start off on the beginning of the

  Speaker 1: week and follow it out. It's just a seven day

  Speaker 1: and this will be day seven, so normally it will

  Speaker 1: probably be a weekend for you guys, but it just

  Speaker 1: so happened to be a Monday, So we are doing

  Speaker 1: a week day reflection, a seven day recap of what

  Speaker 1: we have been going over.

  Speaker 1: Inside again, we're coming out of one of my devotion books,

  Speaker 1: which is called A Closer Walk with I am that

  Speaker 1: I am a thirty one day teen guy to discovering

  Speaker 1: the Bible, exploring the Bible, to exploring the Bible, not
• 1:26
  Speaker 1: taking away anything, just exploring, helping the kids explore the Bible.

  Speaker 1: And parents, you can do this with your child, you
• 1:33
  Speaker 1: can walk through it with them. As you can see,
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: we have been journeying through this for this last seven days,

  Speaker 1: so we have definitely had an opportunity to tap in

  Speaker 1: to really see what is going on inside of this
• 1:45
  Speaker 1: book and to tap into the world and apply to

  Speaker 1: our life. So I'm not gonna hold y'all a long.

  Speaker 1: Y'all know, I like to move quick. I like to

  Speaker 1: get it, get in and get it over with so

  Speaker 1: we can go on about our day. So today, y'all,

  Speaker 1: we are looking back on a day to day lights

  Speaker 1: of what we have been going over. So our weekly recap,

  Speaker 1: our journey. It is a journey through the Scripture a

  Speaker 1: week at a glance. So good morning, good morning, good morning,

  Speaker 1: good morning, welcome back, family, Thank you for joining, Thank

  Speaker 1: you for joining. Let's look back over our first week.

  Speaker 1: This journey has been filled with powerful truth and encouragement.
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: Whether you did every day or just a few days,
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: God's word always meets you right where you are. And
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: here's what we discovered. This is what we discovered throughout
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: this week, y'all. Day one, we were discovering God's love.
• 2:41
  Speaker 1: John three sixteen said, we we learned that God's love
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: is huge. He loved the world so much that he
• 2:48
  Speaker 1: gave us Jesus. Now, no matter who you are or
• 2:53
  Speaker 1: what you have done, know that you are love. And
• 2:58
  Speaker 1: we learned that in John three sixteen, Day two. The
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: power of faith Hebrews eleven and one. Faith is believing
• 3:08
  Speaker 1: and trusting in God even when you cannot see how
• 3:12
  Speaker 1: things will work out. Faith is more than just a feeling.
• 3:15
  Speaker 1: It's choosing to put your trust in God's promises. Know
• 3:18
  Speaker 1: that He's given us promises three hundred and sixty five
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: of them throughout this Bible, three hundred and sixty five
• 3:24
  Speaker 1: of them outlined in here. Because this is our basic
• 3:28
  Speaker 1: instructions before leaving earth. This is what we have to
• 3:32
  Speaker 1: go by before we leave this earth. He also reminded
• 3:35
  Speaker 1: us that we were created with a purpose. We didn't
• 3:39
  Speaker 1: get dropped out of the sky. According to Jeremiah twenty
• 3:41
  Speaker 1: nine eleven, God made each one of us for a reason.
• 3:46
  Speaker 1: Your life matters, and God has a great plan designed
• 3:50
  Speaker 1: just for you. Every one of us has a design plan.
• 3:54
  Speaker 1: Know that you are You are a part of the kingdom.
• 3:57
  Speaker 1: You're not an accident, You're not a a happenstance. You're
• 4:01
  Speaker 1: not a mistake, You're not an add on. You are
• 4:04
  Speaker 1: a part of the kingdom. According to Jeremiah twenty nine
• 4:08
  Speaker 1: and eleven. Stand on his words. And then we talked
• 4:11
  Speaker 1: about the role of prayer, knowing that prayer gives us strength,
• 4:16
  Speaker 1: Prayer helps move mountain. Prayer is our communication with our
• 4:21
  Speaker 1: heavenly Father. Through Jesus Christ, we can do all things.

  Speaker 1: He says in Philippians four and six. He said, prayer
• 4:28
  Speaker 1: isn't just asking for stuff, it's talking to God and
• 4:33
  Speaker 1: listening to God wants to hear from you. No matter
• 4:37
  Speaker 1: who you are, how you feel, where you are. He
• 4:40
  Speaker 1: wants to hear from you. He wants to know your
• 4:43
  Speaker 1: intimate thoughts, and he wants to know all about you, y'all.
• 4:47
  Speaker 1: Day five we talked about courage and strength. We talked
• 4:52
  Speaker 1: about we read over Joshua Well.
• 4:55
  Speaker 2: One and nine.
• 4:56
  Speaker 1: It said sometimes things get tough, but you are not alone.
• 5:00
  Speaker 1: God promised us he promises to be with us and
• 5:05
  Speaker 1: to give us courage and strength to face anything. That's
• 5:08
  Speaker 1: a promise, y'all. It's not a coincident. It's not an afterthought,
• 5:13
  Speaker 1: it's not It is a promise from him to each
• 5:16
  Speaker 1: one of us that he will be with us.
• 5:19
  Speaker 2: So know that He is with you. He's with you.

  Speaker 1: In all things, no matter what it looked like, Know

  Speaker 1: that He is with you. So on yesterday, y'all, we
• 5:36
  Speaker 1: talked about We talked about embracing forgiveness. We talked about forgiveness,
• 5:46
  Speaker 1: we talked about The scripture for yesterday was Ephesians four
• 5:51
  Speaker 1: and thirty two. It said God forgives us, and he
• 5:55
  Speaker 1: wants us to forgive others. Forgiveness brings peace and shows
• 5:59
  Speaker 1: God's love love in action, y'all. It's not just words
• 6:03
  Speaker 1: on pages. It's something that he wants us to incorporate
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: into our lives. Just as we ask for forgiveness, he
• 6:10
  Speaker 1: forgives us, and just as we want forgiveness from from
• 6:15
  Speaker 1: from him, then he wants us to forgive others we
• 6:19
  Speaker 1: can't hold. He don't want us to hold grudge. He
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: don't want us to walk around in turmoil. He wants
• 6:24
  Speaker 1: us to have show peace and love, because God's love
• 6:28
  Speaker 1: is action. So in a nutshell, in a nutshell, what
• 6:34
  Speaker 1: have we learned throughout this week? What has been the
• 6:37
  Speaker 1: teaching throughout this week? So what we have truly learned
• 6:40
  Speaker 1: is that God, God loves us unconditional, with a plan
• 6:46
  Speaker 1: and purpose for our lives. We can trust in him,
• 6:51
  Speaker 1: we can talk to him, we can pray to him
• 6:54
  Speaker 1: through prayers and find courage in him. He gives us
• 6:58
  Speaker 1: grace and he wants us to have grace one to another.

  Speaker 1: Three powerful takeaways to keep you focused on the words

  Speaker 1: and the things that we have learned throughout this week. Again,

  Speaker 1: So three powerful takeaways that I would like to share

  Speaker 1: with you guys that can keep you focused on Him.

  Speaker 1: Know that you are deeply loved. God's love for you
• 7:44
  Speaker 1: is unbreakable. It does not fade just because you mess up.
• 7:49
  Speaker 1: Hear this, Just because you make a mistake, just because
• 7:52
  Speaker 1: you get our track, just because something happens, just because
• 7:56
  Speaker 1: you had a rough week, just because something did not
• 7:58
  Speaker 1: go the way that you wanted it to go.

  Speaker 2: It does not break the love.
• 8:02
  Speaker 1: That God has for you because it is unbreakable. Even
• 8:06
  Speaker 1: on our worst days, when you feel invisible or misunderstood,

  Speaker 1: remember this, you are fully known and fully loved. This

  Speaker 1: love isn't based on what you do, It's based on
• 8:20
  Speaker 1: who God is. When life feels overwhelming, remind yourself God
• 8:25
  Speaker 1: loves me first, and his love never runs His love
• 8:29
  Speaker 1: never fades, It never runs out, it never fades away.

  Speaker 1: So lean on this truth during tough times and let
• 8:37
  Speaker 1: it get you through and let it give you strength.

  Speaker 1: Know that God has a purpose for you. You were
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: not You were not meant to blend in with the crowd.

  Speaker 1: You were handcrafted your talents, your gifts, your dreams, even
• 8:55
  Speaker 1: the challenges for whatever reason in season you're in. If

  Speaker 1: you just understood, even if you are unsure about your
• 9:04
  Speaker 1: future or you can't see fe ahead, you gotta trust
• 9:09
  Speaker 1: in God and know that God is already He's already there,

  Speaker 1: He's already worked it out. He's already preparing a way

  Speaker 1: for you. When doubt creeping hm when he wants to
• 9:22
  Speaker 1: say that, oh you're not worthy, oh your abilities, oh
• 9:26
  Speaker 1: you don't live up to this or whatever. You don't
• 9:30
  Speaker 1: know what your next step is, remember this, Remember that
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: you are not.

  Speaker 2: Here to be an accident.

  Speaker 1: Stay open to God's leading, pray, listen, and look for
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: ways that He may use you, even in the small things.

  Speaker 1: You gotta stay connected because faith is not a solo journey.

  Speaker 1: It's not something that you do by yourself. You're not
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: meant to be on this journey by yourself.

  Speaker 2: Grasp this.

  Speaker 1: You are not meant to be on this journey by
• 9:59
  Speaker 1: your This journey we call life, y'all. It's about spending
• 10:04
  Speaker 1: time with God a regular part of your life. Like
• 10:07
  Speaker 1: every morning you should get up, you should pray. That
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: should be one of the first things you do when
• 10:12
  Speaker 1: you before your foot hit the ground. Pretty much you
• 10:14
  Speaker 1: should be saying giving him thanks, giving him prayers, and
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: then you can go into a full blond prayer, but
• 10:20
  Speaker 1: give him thanks, recognize him, acknowledge him. Then get up,
• 10:25
  Speaker 1: get your days started started with the prayer. Join the
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: prayer group so you can be praying and standing in
• 10:30
  Speaker 1: the gap with others. Read you some scripture, even if
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: it's only a few verses, y'all. Put something down in
• 10:37
  Speaker 1: you so when things when you go out into this
• 10:39
  Speaker 1: world and things come up. You got something that you
• 10:42
  Speaker 1: can put back, that you can give back. You got
• 10:45
  Speaker 1: word that you can pour out, words that you can
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: speak over your situation, because y'all, we got to go
• 10:50
  Speaker 1: out into this world and we know that we're gonna
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: face something. So why not go out prepared? Why not
• 10:55
  Speaker 1: go out with the full arm of God on you?
• 10:58
  Speaker 2: Why not go.
• 10:59
  Speaker 1: Out with His word in you so that when something
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: come at you, you can speak the word. Because he's
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: given us that power. He's given us the power of
• 11:06
  Speaker 1: life and death in our tongue so that we can speak. Y'all,
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: if we read in the Bible, and we understand in
• 11:12
  Speaker 1: the Bible, he spoke a lot of he spoke, and
• 11:15
  Speaker 1: most of the things that happened, it happened just from
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: him speaking. He didn't physically have to do anything. And
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: we got to understand that he's given us that same power.
• 11:25
  Speaker 1: He tells us that in Proverbs eighteen to twenty one,
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: he said He's given us the power of life and death,
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: so that we have that power that we can speak life.
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: You can speak life over yourself. You can prophesie to
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: that situation and guess what it has to move. That
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: mountain has to go. It has to move. You can
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: speak to it and it has to go. Knowing that
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: faith is not a solo journey. Spending time with him,
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: spending time with him, chatting with believers, these are habits
• 11:56
  Speaker 1: that can plug you in to plug you into him.
• 12:00
  Speaker 1: Just like you gotta plug your phone into the charger.
• 12:03
  Speaker 1: You got to recharge your battery. You got to charge
• 12:05
  Speaker 1: it up so that you can continue to take it
• 12:07
  Speaker 1: out in these streets. When you when when you yeah,
• 12:10
  Speaker 1: it's gotta be fully charged. It's gotta be fully charged.
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: And we too need to be charged. So how do
• 12:18
  Speaker 1: you fully charge your stuff? Stand in the words, standing
• 12:21
  Speaker 1: around believers, getting getting that extra stuff inside of you.
• 12:26
  Speaker 1: When you stay connected, you will find wisdom, You will
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: find comfort, and you will find courage to face whatever
• 12:34
  Speaker 1: may come at you. And whenever and when and if
• 12:38
  Speaker 1: you stumble, you're connected and you can be picked back
• 12:45
  Speaker 1: up with no hesitation.
• 12:47
  Speaker 2: So know that.
• 12:49
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna drop three ways that we can pay it
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: for a word of encouragement. And then I'm gone, y'all,
• 12:56
  Speaker 1: I'm gonna be gone. I'm gonna be out of here.
• 12:58
  Speaker 1: So how can we pay what we have learned these
• 13:00
  Speaker 1: last seven days. How can we pay it forward? How
• 13:05
  Speaker 1: can we apply it to our lives? How can we
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: share it with someone else so that we'll continue and
• 13:09
  Speaker 1: to share the word of God y'all. We can encourage friends,
• 13:13
  Speaker 1: We can encourage family members. Do you know that you
• 13:18
  Speaker 1: and never you never know what someone else is going through.
• 13:24
  Speaker 1: A quick text, a posted note on a locker, or
• 13:29
  Speaker 1: a direct message with the Bible verse can mean the
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: world to someone who's struggling. Even saying I'm here for
• 13:36
  Speaker 1: you can remind a friend that they're not alone. Your
• 13:41
  Speaker 1: encouragement can be the light in someone's darkness. Don't underestimate
• 13:48
  Speaker 1: the impact of your words and the things that you
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: have to share with someone Again. You can start a
• 13:56
  Speaker 1: prayer challenge. You can make faith fun and interactive. Ask
• 14:03
  Speaker 1: your friends or your youth group to commit to praying
• 14:07
  Speaker 1: for each other. You can do it every day, you
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: can do it every other day. You can do it
• 14:13
  Speaker 1: once a week. You can set your own time frame,
• 14:18
  Speaker 1: your own limit to how often you want to do it,
• 14:20
  Speaker 1: when you want to do it, it's just doing it.
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: You can also write out prayers and then you can
• 14:28
  Speaker 1: swap them with each other so that you can read them.
• 14:31
  Speaker 1: You can read what prayer somebody else can read. This
• 14:34
  Speaker 1: can help develop your prayer life because oftentimes I hear
• 14:38
  Speaker 1: people say, Oh, they don't know what to say.
• 14:40
  Speaker 2: He just wants us to open.
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: Our mouth and moan, mumble, cry, just make a joyful
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: noise unto him. That's all. He won'ts You know, people
• 14:50
  Speaker 1: are concerned about how we should pray, how long we
• 14:52
  Speaker 1: should pray, what we should pray for. If you open
• 14:55
  Speaker 1: your mouth, he'll tell you what to pray for. And
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: then you if you know that you want to pray
• 15:03
  Speaker 1: pacifically for people, you can ask them or is that
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: pacifically something that you want to pray for? But just
• 15:10
  Speaker 1: invite God's power into what you're doing, whether it's it's
• 15:14
  Speaker 1: a big group or a small group, just invite His
• 15:17
  Speaker 1: power into what you're doing and watch how amazing he
• 15:21
  Speaker 1: make it.
• 15:23
  Speaker 2: And sometime we got to remember.
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: That intercession and interceding, it's a must, y'all. We must interceed.

  Speaker 1: We remember in Ephesians. I think it's Ephesians four and
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: something when he say, we don't have to just think
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: about our own things, y'all, but we should think about
• 15:49
  Speaker 1: things of others. We should think about other people. We
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: should think about what other people got going on. And
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: we should be praying not just for our house, our
• 15:58
  Speaker 1: for and no more, but we should be thinking about
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: others around us, you know, those that we don't see
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: all the time, those that we may not personally come
• 16:06
  Speaker 1: in contact with because with the way social media is now, y'all,
• 16:11
  Speaker 1: and we come in contact with a lot of people
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: that we may not personally physically get to see. But
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: these are people that you are coming in contact with
• 16:19
  Speaker 1: that mean that you have some type of charge over them.
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: So these are people too that you should be praying for.
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: You should be praying for your social media friends and
• 16:29
  Speaker 1: those that follow and support you. You should be lifting
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: them up in prayer because guess what they could be anywhere,
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: but guess what, they stop by to support the things
• 16:39
  Speaker 1: that you're doing because they see something in you. So
• 16:42
  Speaker 1: just as they support you, you should support them and lift.
• 16:45
  Speaker 2: Them up in prayer.
• 16:46
  Speaker 1: If you are a prayer warrior, lift up your social
• 16:48
  Speaker 1: media friends, share the Word of God with them. And
• 16:53
  Speaker 1: another thing that we've learned on this journey throughout this week, y'all,
• 16:56
  Speaker 1: that we can pay it for is learning how to
• 16:59
  Speaker 1: forgive and show and forgiveness, because remember, forgiveness is not
• 17:04
  Speaker 1: always for us, and forgiveness might make you feel impossible,
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: but it sets you free. Ask God to help you
• 17:14
  Speaker 1: forgive those who have hurt you, even if they never
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: even if they are never sorry about what they say,
• 17:22
  Speaker 1: even if they don't say that they're sorry, you gotta
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: forgive them and forgive yourself because forgiveness or for those
• 17:31
  Speaker 1: who is for those who have hurt you, even if
• 17:34
  Speaker 1: they never forgive you or hear you say that. It
• 17:37
  Speaker 1: may take time, but each step brings peace. Don't keep
• 17:42
  Speaker 1: don't keep this in, and don't keep wisdom to yourself, y'all.
• 17:47
  Speaker 1: When you come into the knowledge of something, y'all, it's
• 17:50
  Speaker 1: for us to share it out.
• 17:52
  Speaker 2: It's for us to.
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: Share it with someone else. It's for us to spread
• 17:56
  Speaker 1: it so that other people can come into that knowledge too.

  Speaker 1: We have to share our experiences to encourage others who
• 18:03
  Speaker 1: are holding on to pain and anger.
• 18:06
  Speaker 2: Y'all.
• 18:06
  Speaker 1: Real stories of forgiveness can spark hope and healing in
• 18:10
  Speaker 1: your friend's life, your life.
• 18:12
  Speaker 2: And those around you.
• 18:14
  Speaker 1: I want to leave you guys with the word of encouragement,
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: and now I'm gonna get on out of here. Remember
• 18:21
  Speaker 1: you're never walking this journey alone. God loves covers you,
• 18:25
  Speaker 1: and His purpose for your life is good though even
• 18:29
  Speaker 1: on your hardest days, keep seeking Him, keep showing love
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: and kindness, and never forget You're a part of something
• 18:37
  Speaker 1: amazing and you got to keep pressing on. You have
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: what it takes to grow, love and make a difference
• 18:44
  Speaker 1: right now, right where you are. So keep holding on
• 18:47
  Speaker 1: to God's love, keep looking for his purpose and building
• 18:51
  Speaker 1: strong connections. And remember when you help others and share
• 18:56
  Speaker 1: what you receive, God mutiplies the impact and you're a
• 19:00
  Speaker 1: part of a bigger story than you can even imagine.
• 19:03
  Speaker 1: Stay strong, stay courageous, stay curious, and keep digging deep
• 19:08
  Speaker 1: into the word. Your best is yet to come. Your
• 19:13
  Speaker 1: best is yet to come. I hope that there's something
