- 0:00Speaker 1: Here we are, last break of the day. This is
- 0:02Speaker 1: Easter Week, concluding on Sunday, with Resurrection Day tomorrow. Good Friday.
- 0:12Speaker 2: It's good Friday, the same as Palm Sunday.
- 0:15Speaker 1: No, that was last Sunday. Jesus rode in on the donkey.
- 0:20Speaker 1: That was Palm Sunday, So that was tomorrow.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Never quite knew that story, never really knew that that
- 0:34Speaker 2: was your day, he wrote.
- 0:35Speaker 1: In I was, yes, yes, yes, I just wanted a
- 0:40Speaker 1: real nice palm.
- 0:41Speaker 2: I went around twice one time. Good. Hey, let's let
- 0:53Speaker 2: me let me let me say this for closing remarks.
- 0:55Speaker 2: You know, earlier a guy called in and was saying that, Steve,
- 1:01Speaker 2: you've been saying often that you've never had a if
- 1:04Speaker 2: you notice, you've never had a hater doing better than you.
- 1:07Speaker 2: And he said, I want to disagree, and you might
- 1:09Speaker 2: want to consider to stop saying that because of the
- 1:13Speaker 2: two people in the White House. He was referring to
- 1:15Speaker 2: Donald Trump and Eland Musk. He said, they're haters and
- 1:18Speaker 2: they're doing better than us are. Just for clarification, you're
- 1:23Speaker 2: free to think and feel however you want to feel
- 1:26Speaker 2: if you think they're haters. But what my statement was
- 1:30Speaker 2: really telling people is on a personal level. You You
- 1:35Speaker 2: will never have a hater that's doing better than you.
- 1:42Speaker 2: You see what I mean, And it's all the hate
- 1:45Speaker 2: that I'm talking about is on a personal level. When
- 1:47Speaker 2: you go up to that level right there, you're talking
- 1:49Speaker 2: about people who can pass policy, who can pass laws,
- 1:54Speaker 2: who can implement policy. That change is a sweeping change
- 1:59Speaker 2: across meny different platforms, and it would include.
- 2:02Speaker 3: You heard them, They everybody. So you don't really have
- 2:09Speaker 3: a personal or relationship with either one of those people
- 2:14Speaker 3: in the White House, So I don't consider them haters.
- 2:18Speaker 3: They are a whole nother level.
- 2:19Speaker 2: Man.
- 2:21Speaker 3: But what I try to guard people against is the
- 2:24Speaker 3: people who can say or do something to you that
- 2:26Speaker 3: affects your mood, your position, and and the way you
- 2:30Speaker 3: go about your day because people allow. People allow some
- 2:37Speaker 3: people in their life to have an effect on their attitude,
- 2:42Speaker 3: their direction, and their decisions, and you shouldn't. Here's the
- 2:46Speaker 3: one thing I've learned about. I stop taking criticism from
- 2:51Speaker 3: people I wouldn't take advice from. I stopped that because man,
- 2:57Speaker 3: it's think about it. When you get hated on on
- 3:01Speaker 3: your job, when you get hated on in your family,
- 3:04Speaker 3: when you got what you thought was a friend who's
- 3:07Speaker 3: turning around hating on you. When you think about this,
- 3:13Speaker 3: it can be so nonproductive if.
- 3:16Speaker 2: You give credence to it.
- 3:18Speaker 3: If you allow a person to make a statement about
- 3:21Speaker 3: you and then it affects how you feel that day
- 3:24Speaker 3: and they're saying something negative about you, that that's a hater, Well,
- 3:29Speaker 3: you can control that. You have control of that, And
- 3:33Speaker 3: I'm employing everybody to get control of your life. Listen
- 3:37Speaker 3: to me. I have decided I have given no one permission.
- 3:44Speaker 3: I have given no one permission to control me, to
- 3:49Speaker 3: disgust me, and to affect me that I don't know.
- 3:53Speaker 3: You have no You have no permission. So when you
- 3:56Speaker 3: online and people commenting on your picture, your life, or
- 4:01Speaker 3: making comments in your comments section on your social media,
- 4:04Speaker 3: do you understand that there's people sitting around all day
- 4:06Speaker 3: and all they do is troll the internet to find
- 4:08Speaker 3: something to say something negative about. It's negative people that
- 4:11Speaker 3: wake up and you allowing this person who you don't
- 4:15Speaker 3: even know, affect you. I have several policies, Like number one,
- 4:19Speaker 3: I just told y'all, I said, I do not take
- 4:22Speaker 3: criticism from people I would not take advice from. I
- 4:26Speaker 3: also don't allow people's opinion of me who don't have
- 4:31Speaker 3: my cell number to affect me. I also have a
- 4:36Speaker 3: policy if I don't know you, that's probably a reason why.
- 4:42Speaker 3: So why would I give you permission to have a
- 4:46Speaker 3: level of importance in my life that would affect anything
- 4:50Speaker 3: in my day to day when you don't even know me.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Y'all take control of your life by not giving people permission.
- 5:00Speaker 3: You don't have to give a person permission. You don't
- 5:03Speaker 3: have to. Man, you could just do this to people.
- 5:07Speaker 3: You could just give them deuces.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Bye. Look, man, it.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Is such a freeing thing to be able to control
- 5:16Speaker 3: your life because all you got to do is control
- 5:19Speaker 3: the way you respond. Stop responding to people who don't
- 5:24Speaker 3: know you, stop responding to people who don't have your
- 5:28Speaker 3: cell number, and stop taking criticism from people you wouldn't
- 5:32Speaker 3: take advice from. If you could do those things right now,
- 5:35Speaker 3: you have taken back the control. You know. I use
- 5:39Speaker 3: this as not I've used this example all the time
- 5:41Speaker 3: about Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King said a person
- 5:45Speaker 3: can't ride your back unless you bend over. I don't
- 5:48Speaker 3: bend over. You're not climbing on my back because I'm
- 5:52Speaker 3: not bending over. I don't give you permission. God Almighty
- 5:59Speaker 3: is the architect and author of my destiny and my future,
- 6:05Speaker 3: where I'm headed and where I'm going. I have given
- 6:08Speaker 3: him total permission to guide me as you will. And
- 6:12Speaker 3: you ain't in that. You ain't in the scriptures. You
- 6:15Speaker 3: ain't in none of his promises. You ain't in none
- 6:19Speaker 3: of my.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Hopes and dreams.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Thank you for whatever you want to feel about me,
- 6:23Speaker 3: But as it has no effect on it. Ladies and gentlemen,
- 6:28Speaker 3: have yourself a great thing. Talk to God, because he
- 6:33Speaker 3: would love to hear from you.
