- 0:59Speaker 6: Welcome to your Canislopez. Good morning. How was your weekend?
- 1:02Speaker 3: It was good.
- 1:02Speaker 5: Remember we went to that wedding. Eric's cousin got married
- 1:05Speaker 5: and it was like so beautiful. It was like fairly
- 1:08Speaker 5: small wedding. But the best part was, like the vows
- 1:13Speaker 5: absolutely did not write them with AI. So Eric's cousin
- 1:17Speaker 5: met his now wife when he was a lyft driver
- 1:20Speaker 5: in Lubbock.
- 1:21Speaker 6: So are you serious?
- 1:22Speaker 5: Yes, the best story ever, you know. So he's doing
- 1:25Speaker 5: his vowels or whatever, and I had forgotten that that's
- 1:27Speaker 5: how they met. For a short period of time. He's
- 1:30Speaker 5: in a scream o like metal band real and they tour. Yeah,
- 1:34Speaker 5: but he was a lyft driver at the time, and he,
- 1:37Speaker 5: you know, said, my job that day when I met
- 1:39Speaker 5: you was to get you where you were going. And
- 1:41Speaker 5: at the end of his vows, he says, and today,
- 1:44Speaker 5: six years later, I vowed to continue to help you
- 1:46Speaker 5: to get wherever you want to go in life. And
- 1:50Speaker 5: the tears, the tears just came down, and like it
- 1:56Speaker 5: was just like so perfect, like they just like have
- 1:59Speaker 5: such a good like relationship and sense of humor, and
- 2:02Speaker 5: like we all just were bawling looking on. I didn't
- 2:04Speaker 5: plan to to cry at this wedding, you know. And
- 2:08Speaker 5: then my son, you know, Enzo was next to me.
- 2:10Speaker 5: He's seven, and first time in a suit, first time
- 2:12Speaker 5: at a wedding and just it's so gross. He was,
- 2:16Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I'm crying looking at him, and it was
- 2:18Speaker 5: just like a whole a whole scene.
- 2:21Speaker 6: Good.
- 2:21Speaker 5: But yeah, they're.
- 2:22Speaker 6: About romantic and sweet and just you gotta love love. Yeah,
- 2:26Speaker 6: I hate it, but you love it.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I do. Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 5: It was so good. So you never know your fun
- 2:33Speaker 5: when you will find love and a lift?
- 2:35Speaker 6: No, you know what, what a sweet story. Why can't
- 2:37Speaker 6: that happen to poo? And it won't. Why can't that
- 2:40Speaker 6: happen to poo?
- 2:41Speaker 5: And well, you know, start driving for a lift?
- 2:44Speaker 4: I mean maybe I'll have to, But what sweet? You
- 2:46Speaker 4: hear these love stories all the time. Yeah, and I'm like, well,
- 2:49Speaker 4: what happened over here?
- 2:51Speaker 6: What happened? I'm over here? Like that is very sweet?
- 2:59Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:59Speaker 5: Great weekend, well, goods.
- 3:02Speaker 6: I had a good weekend too. It was good.
- 3:04Speaker 4: I spent most of my time in Fort Worth, so oh.
- 3:06Speaker 4: I got signed to Meghan in Springtown. Meghan in Springtown.
- 3:10Speaker 4: We went to Lady Gaga pooh and I did a
- 3:12Speaker 4: little monster mandate and she was out there. There was
- 3:16Speaker 4: a lot of people out there we met, but I
- 3:17Speaker 4: promised her I was gonna say hi. So that was
- 3:19Speaker 4: fun and then I went to co Wetzel's ride room
- 3:21Speaker 4: and it was co Wetzel Day and he performed.
- 3:23Speaker 6: And hung out there and it was a good time.
- 3:25Speaker 7: Sorry.
- 3:26Speaker 6: I basically got my country on Cannis real. Yeah it
- 3:29Speaker 6: was good.
- 3:29Speaker 4: Poo.
- 3:30Speaker 6: What about you besides your mandate with me?
- 3:32Speaker 1: Before that, I went to go judge a chili cook off?
- 3:36Speaker 6: What was Why didn't you tell us?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Well?
- 3:39Speaker 8: They hit me up and I actually forgot about it,
- 3:41Speaker 8: and then Rachel she messaged me. She was like, hey,
- 3:44Speaker 8: you're gonna steal judge the chili cook off and I
- 3:45Speaker 8: was like, oh yeah. So I went to Grapevine for
- 3:49Speaker 8: Dream Fund, a charity organization, and judge chilie And let
- 3:53Speaker 8: me tell you, I appreciate this is chili.
- 3:56Speaker 5: I saw your message and I was like, what is that?
- 4:00Speaker 6: And you appreciate your chilling?
- 4:02Speaker 3: Whoo.
- 4:02Speaker 1: There's some chili out there? Yeah, a whole lot better.
- 4:08Speaker 8: There was some that this one lady she just it
- 4:11Speaker 8: was just turkey ground beef and like onions and all
- 4:15Speaker 8: these healthy things.
- 4:16Speaker 6: And I was like, that sounds good, that sounds good. No,
- 4:20Speaker 6: all these healthy things onions and no.
- 4:23Speaker 1: No, I'm telling you.
- 4:25Speaker 6: There was a judge next to me.
- 4:27Speaker 1: You know how you have to cleanse your palate. She
- 4:30Speaker 1: was taking a shot of tequila every time. Chili.
- 4:35Speaker 6: That's not so bad about it.
- 4:37Speaker 8: Let me see there's some that was some runny, runny chili.
- 4:40Speaker 8: It was souper chili like it was just it was bad.
- 4:43Speaker 6: Was there any good chili?
- 4:45Speaker 1: There was one good chili, one good chili out of
- 4:47Speaker 1: all thirteen.
- 4:48Speaker 6: Was it from Wendy's. No, it wasn't from Wendy's.
- 4:52Speaker 8: But I'm telling you next year I want Candae to enter. Okay, yeah,
- 4:56Speaker 8: start it will help her out. Yeah, you'm telling you
- 4:59Speaker 8: you'll help her out?
- 5:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 5:00Speaker 6: What is that supposed to be? Me and you will
- 5:02Speaker 6: will all want to help her out.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Did any of the chili have beans though?
- 5:05Speaker 8: Poo uh No, no, no chili had beans, and its
- 5:09Speaker 8: specifically say it on the rules no beans, No, no
- 5:12Speaker 8: beans at all.
- 5:13Speaker 4: There was a big old sign said and you want
- 5:15Speaker 4: and you want Canna Stanner. There's thirteen different kinds of
- 5:19Speaker 4: beans and chili.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I think she could come through. I think she could
- 5:23Speaker 1: compete on the chill.
- 5:25Speaker 5: All the rules. I can take out the beans still
- 5:27Speaker 5: be really good.
- 5:28Speaker 6: The chili I take, if you take out the beans
- 5:30Speaker 6: will be nothing. In your chili.
- 5:31Speaker 5: They'll be the meat. Any pound to meet there?
- 5:36Speaker 6: A pound, yeah, I don't know about that.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Just a pound.
- 5:41Speaker 5: I'm not making it for five to ten people. I'm
- 5:44Speaker 5: making it.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Let's check it.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Out right now.
- 5:51Speaker 7: Okay's stories with Billy the Kid in the Morning.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Mix one two.
- 5:58Speaker 6: By the way, Cannon, is I like your chilli?
- 6:00Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:00Speaker 6: Thank you for a long time.
- 6:04Speaker 4: And now all of a sudden he's telling you enter
- 6:05Speaker 4: our competition. Yeah, I support you now, like I see
- 6:09Speaker 4: what you're doing.
- 6:10Speaker 6: Okay, yeah, thank you. Get out of here. What's going
- 6:13Speaker 6: on in our world?
- 6:14Speaker 5: Very spring like start to the work week, guys. We're
- 6:16Speaker 5: gonna have some clouds today but a high around seventy five,
- 6:19Speaker 5: but overall warm this week. Rain chances start though, thunderstorm
- 6:24Speaker 5: uh in the forecast starting later this week Wednesday, then
- 6:27Speaker 5: for next week the whole week rain guys.
- 6:31Speaker 9: Are you prepared for that?
- 6:31Speaker 5: So starting Wednesday? But every day it's like thunderstorms, thunderstorms, thunderstorm.
- 6:36Speaker 6: You know you're getting on when I look at the
- 6:37Speaker 6: forecast of my well.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Good, we need it, Yeah, we do.
- 6:40Speaker 6: We need this long needs it for sure.
- 6:43Speaker 3: We do.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I mean no, we do.
- 6:45Speaker 6: I'm not saying anything bad. I'm just saying, we're guys.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Get ready, guys, traffic, we should talk about a multi
- 6:52Speaker 5: mile backup on northbound I thirty five east past Inwood
- 6:55Speaker 5: near Commonwealth. This accident happened around twelve forty five this morning.
- 7:00Speaker 5: A police officer was headed home on his department motorcycle
- 7:03Speaker 5: when he was struck right there at Inwood Road. That
- 7:06Speaker 5: driver left the scene. The officer was able to get
- 7:09Speaker 5: off of the roadway, but then his motorcycle was hit
- 7:11Speaker 5: by another car. So if you're experiencing some traffic in
- 7:15Speaker 5: that area, this is why. Thankfully that officer wasn't hit.
- 7:18Speaker 5: He was transported to the hospital. He's expected to fully recover.
- 7:22Speaker 5: But police did later find an abandoned vehicle near Empire
- 7:26Speaker 5: Center that appeared to be the one involved in this.
- 7:29Speaker 5: But it just caused a traffic nightmare in the area.
- 7:31Speaker 5: So just a heads up, yeah, I thirty five at
- 7:34Speaker 5: Inwood this morning. NBC says they will take a hard
- 7:37Speaker 5: look at Pink while she guest hosts The Kelly Clarkson
- 7:40Speaker 5: Show this week. They'll be considering her to replace Kelly
- 7:43Speaker 5: when that show ends later this year. A source is
- 7:46Speaker 5: saying Pink has what it takes. She's natural, friendly, super
- 7:50Speaker 5: nice and easy to work with. And I'm also hearing
- 7:52Speaker 5: that she's actually already moved from California to New York
- 7:56Speaker 5: City where that show is taped. So interesting. Can you
- 8:00Speaker 5: imagine Pink doing a daytime talk show.
- 8:02Speaker 4: I can't imagine that. Actually, yeah, it seems like it
- 8:04Speaker 4: would be normally, she's gonna do it flying.
- 8:05Speaker 1: Around in the air.
- 8:07Speaker 4: Every guest, and every guest is just she does every
- 8:10Speaker 4: concert just swinging in the air.
- 8:12Speaker 6: But I think she'd be great.
- 8:14Speaker 5: Yeah, I think so too. She's really come out of
- 8:16Speaker 5: her shell. Like back in the day, I felt like
- 8:17Speaker 5: she kind of seemed like a really introverted person and
- 8:20Speaker 5: she'd just go out on stage and perform. But yeah, well,
- 8:23Speaker 5: it'll be fun to watch her take over that show
- 8:25Speaker 5: this week, just to see what kind of skills she
- 8:28Speaker 5: has for TV.
- 8:29Speaker 4: I kind of like the idea of like just rotating
- 8:31Speaker 4: celebrity guests to do it. Yeah, you know, our host,
- 8:34Speaker 4: celebrity host, just to have a new host do it
- 8:35Speaker 4: every month.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Yeah, that would be interesting. I mean, that's kind of
- 8:38Speaker 5: what they did when Kelly was gone, just kind of
- 8:41Speaker 5: replace her with, you know, different people, And it seemed
- 8:43Speaker 5: like it worked. But people love Kelly for the performance too.
- 8:46Speaker 6: You know, it's not.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Everyone can you know, accomplish Pink could? Could she you know,
- 8:51Speaker 5: take over and Jue do it a performance every day
- 8:53Speaker 5: like Kelly? Sure.
- 8:54Speaker 6: Yeah, she's got a ton of good songs too.
- 8:56Speaker 5: For sure. I'll keep you posted on that. We have
- 8:58Speaker 5: made it to March. Guys, here's some things to look
- 9:01Speaker 5: forward to or maybe dread daylight saving time. You mentioned
- 9:05Speaker 5: that starting Sunday we'll spring forward, so you'll lose an
- 9:08Speaker 5: hour of sleep, but it's good it won't get dark
- 9:11Speaker 5: so early.
- 9:11Speaker 4: I don't care about the sleep. I'd rather lose an
- 9:13Speaker 4: hour sleep and have it light later later. Yes, that way,
- 9:17Speaker 4: I feel like, I don't know. It is hard to
- 9:18Speaker 4: fall asleep though, in the summer, when we go to
- 9:20Speaker 4: bed so early and it's still light at like eleven PM,
- 9:23Speaker 4: it feels like really hard.
- 9:24Speaker 5: Yeah, because everyone starts to mow their lawn right when
- 9:27Speaker 5: I go to bed. In the summer, it's like, wait
- 9:29Speaker 5: a minute, they do.
- 9:30Speaker 6: But I'm just looking forward to it. I'm just excited
- 9:31Speaker 6: for spring.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Yeah, lots coming up. March Madness. Major League Baseball, The
- 9:35Speaker 5: Oscars March fifteenth International Women's Day, Saint Patti's in spring break,
- 9:40Speaker 5: so we have a ton to look forward to this month. Guys,
- 9:43Speaker 5: I'm Kanda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Okay, let's do it now, reeal or fake news. I'm
- 9:47Speaker 4: gonna give you three headlines. You gotta tell me which
- 9:49Speaker 4: one is fake. Just a fun way to talk about
- 9:52Speaker 4: ridiculous stories. Headline number one ten year old boy, Sue's
- 9:56Speaker 4: father for spending his savings. Oh always, Sue's father for
- 10:01Speaker 4: spending his savings. Headline umber two. Family accidentally opens a
- 10:06Speaker 4: package meant for neighbor containing twenty live baby tarantulas.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Oh oh no oh.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Family accidentally opens a package meant for neighbor containing twenty
- 10:17Speaker 4: live baby tarantulas. Headlinember three. New wellness trend seasoning your
- 10:22Speaker 4: kids with salt? What new wellness trend? Seasoning your kids
- 10:29Speaker 4: with salt? That is headline number three. Cannis, you want
- 10:32Speaker 4: to go first? There are three headlines. You gotta tell
- 10:35Speaker 4: me which one is the fake story? You want to go, Cannis,
- 10:38Speaker 4: So you want to pass it to Pooh?
- 10:40Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll go first. Yeah, lock me in for that
- 10:41Speaker 5: second story. The tarantula is.
- 10:43Speaker 6: Okay, second story. Angela's story. Yeah, let me lock that in.
- 10:48Speaker 4: You think that's the fake story? Oh yeah, producer poo,
- 10:51Speaker 4: which one do you think is fake?
- 10:52Speaker 1: Lock me in for the last story?
- 10:54Speaker 6: Seasoning?
- 10:56Speaker 4: God, you don't think anyone's out here seasoning their kids
- 10:59Speaker 4: with salt.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Little Paprika, little Lowry's locked me.
- 11:03Speaker 6: Let me lock that in.
- 11:05Speaker 4: It is officially locked in. And the winner today is
- 11:09Speaker 4: Candice slow Pez. Why am I even surprised? Whatever thinks
- 11:19Speaker 4: every single day. Congratulations Candicelowpez. All right, you did and
- 11:24Speaker 4: it worked. Let's go over these stories that are real, though,
- 11:26Speaker 4: because some of them are just weird. Ten year old
- 11:28Speaker 4: boy Sue's father for spending his savings is a real story.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Some boy in China took his own father to court
- 11:35Speaker 4: because the I mean he saved his savings up that
- 11:37Speaker 4: he saved. Yeah, he said, I'm gonna spend this guy said,
- 11:40Speaker 4: and the judge ruled in the child's favor.
- 11:42Speaker 9: Good.
- 11:43Speaker 4: So the boy had been saving money from lunar New Year,
- 11:46Speaker 4: and I guess just waiting to get some kind of
- 11:48Speaker 4: gift or something that he wanted or just to have it,
- 11:50Speaker 4: it doesn't really matter, I guess. And his father was
- 11:53Speaker 4: depositing it on his behalf. Long story short, Mom and
- 11:56Speaker 4: dad get a divorce. Dad leaves and up going with
- 12:00Speaker 4: another woman, spends the money on his wedding.
- 12:03Speaker 6: No to the new woman.
- 12:05Speaker 4: To the new woman, Wow, it would be equivalent to
- 12:09Speaker 4: eleven thousand American dollars.
- 12:11Speaker 6: That kid's saving that buch eleven grand yeap at ten
- 12:14Speaker 6: years old. It's ten years old.
- 12:16Speaker 4: So he asked for the money back, but the father
- 12:19Speaker 4: said no, I will pay you back, but now right now?
- 12:22Speaker 4: And yeah, well we know who's suing. The boy wasn't suing.
- 12:25Speaker 5: Yeah, Mom is like, hey mom, there on behalf of him.
- 12:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:30Speaker 6: Either way.
- 12:30Speaker 4: The court ruled that it legally belonged to the child,
- 12:33Speaker 4: the father had no right to spend it. The father
- 12:35Speaker 4: was ordered to repay all the money plus interest, total
- 12:37Speaker 4: in about twelve thousand dollars.
- 12:40Speaker 6: So there you go.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Can wow, dad, of you right there?
- 12:43Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I just got.
- 12:45Speaker 4: Hey, I'll borrow this from you so I can go
- 12:47Speaker 4: marry this new woman. Yeah, don't worry about it. Son,
- 12:50Speaker 4: I got you back. I'll pay you back. Don't worry,
- 12:53Speaker 4: all right. Next story, a wellness trend. It's taken over
- 12:56Speaker 4: social media. It's gaining a little traction. It's called halo therapy.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Halo therapy.
- 13:01Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a form of alternative medicine involving salt. There's
- 13:04Speaker 4: no real science backing it up yet, they say, But
- 13:07Speaker 4: that won't stop people from doing it on their own
- 13:09Speaker 4: and just seeing what happens. Right, One particular TikTok account
- 13:13Speaker 4: is going viral. It's a mom who boasts about salting
- 13:17Speaker 4: her kids. What She basically has an entire indoor playroom
- 13:22Speaker 4: covered in salt from wall to wall, like it's snow
- 13:25Speaker 4: or a sandbox.
- 13:27Speaker 5: What do you mean, Oh, well, like the salt rooms.
- 13:29Speaker 5: You know, you go in the salt room.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Yeah, like that. This is their playroom. What kind of
- 13:34Speaker 6: white people?
- 13:35Speaker 5: What I mean, it's probably good for them.
- 13:37Speaker 6: Yeah, the kids are jumping in it, they're playing in it. Online.
- 13:40Speaker 4: It's gone viral because I guess it looks crazy because
- 13:44Speaker 4: there's salt all over the place, okay, while they're playing.
- 13:47Speaker 4: And I guess this is a way to boost your
- 13:49Speaker 4: immune system. Some people think by breathing the salt.
- 13:51Speaker 6: But not eating it.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Okay, Yeah, it's like it helps allergies and inflammation. Yeah,
- 13:56Speaker 5: I remember that lady. We had someone invite us out
- 13:58Speaker 5: to her salt therapy room where hills.
- 14:01Speaker 6: Yes, oh yes, yeah, we need to go. We never went.
- 14:03Speaker 5: But just salt everywhere like that is different.
- 14:05Speaker 4: I think just salt everywhere in the playroom. And people
- 14:08Speaker 4: are starting to do this, just salt everywhere. It's called
- 14:11Speaker 4: halo therapy. I've never heard of this in my life.
- 14:13Speaker 5: But would you do this, Candas, Yeah, for sure if
- 14:15Speaker 5: that helps their allergies.
- 14:17Speaker 4: We know you don't season anything. Good Morning, Billy the Kid.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Candice Lompez is here, Producer poo is here. I'm laughing
- 14:25Speaker 4: because when I saw this threat on Reddit. Oh, it's
- 14:28Speaker 4: just so funny the things some of you ladies do
- 14:30Speaker 4: when you're pregnant. And I'm not saying it's bad, but
- 14:32Speaker 4: pregnancy brain is a real thing. Oh yeah, And I
- 14:35Speaker 4: mean I have a son.
- 14:36Speaker 6: I remember when you know his mom was prego.
- 14:38Speaker 4: I would have to go on the craziest snack runs ever,
- 14:42Speaker 4: the most ridiculous things, and you do it and you
- 14:44Speaker 4: shut up, right. But some of the things that they
- 14:47Speaker 4: were talking about, it is funny because you know, I
- 14:48Speaker 4: love a good list, especially when it's hysterical like this.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Things ridiculous things that women have done while they were pregnant.
- 14:54Speaker 6: They're admitting this. Okay, make it clear, I'm not calling
- 14:57Speaker 6: it ridiculous.
- 14:58Speaker 5: I don't think anything you late limits when you're pregnant.
- 15:01Speaker 4: No, yeah, that's what I'm saying. And you'll have to
- 15:03Speaker 4: tell me what you did, because I know something you didn't.
- 15:05Speaker 6: You told me one time. Yeah, but this one cracked
- 15:07Speaker 6: me up.
- 15:08Speaker 4: This girl said I literally kicked my husband out of
- 15:10Speaker 4: the house, locked the doors, and threatened divorce when he
- 15:12Speaker 4: ate the last piece of pie.
- 15:14Speaker 6: I do not do that.
- 15:17Speaker 5: I mean, don't do that if we're not pregnant. Are
- 15:20Speaker 5: you the last piece of pie?
- 15:22Speaker 4: Well that's the funny part is she didn't even say
- 15:24Speaker 4: she wanted it necessarily, she should have automatically.
- 15:29Speaker 6: No, yes, okay.
- 15:31Speaker 4: Next one, I cried like a baby for hours over
- 15:33Speaker 4: a tree that had to get cut down in our yard.
- 15:36Speaker 4: It was huge and beautiful, but apparently it was dead,
- 15:39Speaker 4: so we had to get rid of it. But how awful.
- 15:42Speaker 4: I still think about it and want to tear up.
- 15:46Speaker 5: So hard. You're going to give life and they're just
- 15:48Speaker 5: taking that life in the tree. You see why she
- 15:53Speaker 5: was sad.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Next one, and.
- 15:55Speaker 4: If you got one, you can you can always DM
- 15:57Speaker 4: me at Billy on the radio. At Billy on the radio.
- 15:59Speaker 4: I discovered that my pocket was full of butter. Not
- 16:03Speaker 4: sure what happened, but I was cooking and I must
- 16:05Speaker 4: have put the butter in my pocket instead of the fridge.
- 16:08Speaker 4: I have no other explanation, but I had butter everywhere.
- 16:14Speaker 4: But I'm not even pregnant. I've done stuff like that before.
- 16:18Speaker 4: My car keys in the fridge one time, I couldn't
- 16:22Speaker 4: find them, and I'm like, that's just my add.
- 16:26Speaker 6: Okay, this woman said. The cleaning frenzy was so real.
- 16:29Speaker 4: I cleaned every edge and border of the power outlets
- 16:33Speaker 4: with a cotton swab and alcohol. No, to this day,
- 16:36Speaker 4: I do not have any idea what possessed me to
- 16:38Speaker 4: do that.
- 16:42Speaker 6: You know what I was.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I was a freak about trying to make sure that
- 16:44Speaker 4: everything was safe and secure. Still to this day, I'll
- 16:48Speaker 4: walk around my house and I don't know why. As
- 16:51Speaker 4: a first time dad back in the day, I thought
- 16:53Speaker 4: that you know the doorstoppers on the back of your
- 16:56Speaker 4: I took every one of them in the house. You
- 16:59Speaker 4: did as I was convinced my son was gonna crawl
- 17:02Speaker 4: around and eat one, wow like and grab it take
- 17:05Speaker 4: it off like, choke on it.
- 17:06Speaker 5: Oh, do you send the plastic things in your electric
- 17:08Speaker 5: outlets some of them?
- 17:10Speaker 4: Yes, And my son's turning fifteen next week. That's for
- 17:14Speaker 4: me just in case. Yeah, we Candice did something. You
- 17:18Speaker 4: had weird craving.
- 17:19Speaker 5: So I did mostly for healthy stuff, but because I
- 17:22Speaker 5: would drink green smoothies every day. But I definitely door
- 17:24Speaker 5: to ash some donuts one time.
- 17:26Speaker 6: I don't even think that that's that crazy.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I think in the night. That was when Twitter was
- 17:30Speaker 5: a big thing, and I tweeted it out and then
- 17:32Speaker 5: one of our friends actually showed up with donuts too.
- 17:34Speaker 6: Yeah, yes, thank you.
- 17:35Speaker 4: Okay, that's a good one. Door dash donuts. I think
- 17:38Speaker 4: I would do that sober though, right, sober and not pregnant.
- 17:42Speaker 4: I woke up a morning to find my car keys.
- 17:45Speaker 6: Oh see. I woke up in the morning found my
- 17:47Speaker 6: car keys and sunglasses in the freezer.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Oh oh see.
- 17:51Speaker 6: I did the same thing. She said.
- 17:53Speaker 4: Okay, people aren't scrubbed every possible looking cranny with the
- 17:56Speaker 4: toothbrush in my house?
- 17:58Speaker 6: What about this? I threat this a good one. I threatened.
- 18:02Speaker 4: I was leaving and going to sleep at a hotel
- 18:04Speaker 4: near my office for the rest of my pregnancy because
- 18:06Speaker 4: my husband loudly jingled his belt buckle while getting dressed
- 18:10Speaker 4: that morning, the one morning I could sleep in, he
- 18:13Speaker 4: woke me up with his belt buckle.
- 18:15Speaker 6: Oh tear him.
- 18:20Speaker 7: Against Texas Tough stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid.
- 18:23Speaker 3: In the morning only on the New Mix one two
- 18:26Speaker 3: point nine.
- 18:27Speaker 6: Early on a Monday morning, Canislopez?
- 18:29Speaker 5: What's going on while the city of Austin is grieving
- 18:31Speaker 5: the loss of two people who were killed and fourteen
- 18:34Speaker 5: others that were wounded after a gunman opened fire in
- 18:36Speaker 5: Austin Sixth Street area early Sunday morning. Police arrived within
- 18:41Speaker 5: fifty seven seconds of the first emergency calls and were
- 18:44Speaker 5: able to take that suspect out at the scene. The
- 18:48Speaker 5: Texas National Guard has been deployed, and while they still
- 18:50Speaker 5: don't have a motive, the FBI is investigating this for
- 18:53Speaker 5: potential ties to terrorism. I know patrols have been increased
- 18:58Speaker 5: across that area as well as the University of Texas campus.
- 19:01Speaker 5: But just an awful weekend down in Austin.
- 19:04Speaker 4: That just breaks my heart. That city is It means
- 19:06Speaker 4: a lot to me. I love the Austin, I love
- 19:08Speaker 4: the people. There are so many good memories and times
- 19:11Speaker 4: and just the fact that you have to be scared
- 19:13Speaker 4: when you're trying to enjoy yourself and it happens on
- 19:16Speaker 4: West six when everybody thinks East sixth Street is the Guild,
- 19:20Speaker 4: bad bad area. So the cops are all focused down there.
- 19:23Speaker 4: Thankfully did the phenomenal job to get there and probably
- 19:26Speaker 4: save a lot of lives. Absolutely, it's just so I
- 19:29Speaker 4: just hate this world we're in right now. Yeah, when
- 19:31Speaker 4: you're scared, you're just scared of like what, we don't
- 19:34Speaker 4: even know when to be scared or.
- 19:35Speaker 6: It just you just never know.
- 19:37Speaker 5: Yeah, I was actually in that area this weekend for
- 19:40Speaker 5: a wedding. I had no idea this was going on.
- 19:42Speaker 5: You know, we're trying to just move around Austin normally
- 19:45Speaker 5: and then you find out this happened, and yeah, it's
- 19:47Speaker 5: just a sinking feeling in your stomach, you know. So
- 19:50Speaker 5: we're definitely thinking of everyone down there today. You mentioned
- 19:53Speaker 5: this a minute ago. Warm and cloudy start for the
- 19:55Speaker 5: week before rain starts to move in by Wednesday. We
- 19:58Speaker 5: do have pretty decent chance is for severe thunderstorms for
- 20:01Speaker 5: the second half of the week. It's sixty two degrees
- 20:04Speaker 5: right now, and this new report says the biggest motivator
- 20:08Speaker 5: for fast casual dining. Can you believe they put this
- 20:11Speaker 5: in a report exhaustion?
- 20:14Speaker 4: Yeah, oh, that's the reason I would go to a
- 20:16Speaker 4: fast casual dining. Yes, what's fast casual?
- 20:19Speaker 5: Well, I think that's just a better way to say
- 20:20Speaker 5: fast food places.
- 20:22Speaker 6: We do take out, So I think fast casual to
- 20:26Speaker 6: me is like Chili's.
- 20:27Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, I'm got too. I think that counts as well.
- 20:30Speaker 5: I think it's basically us taking doing takeout orders for
- 20:33Speaker 5: the most part, or swinging through places like that. But
- 20:36Speaker 5: their data says that forty percent of these trips happened
- 20:39Speaker 5: because of simple fatigue. And I'm pretty sure any mom
- 20:42Speaker 5: right now was like, duh, We're so tired of thinking
- 20:45Speaker 5: of what to eat for dinner every night. But they say,
- 20:48Speaker 5: you know, fast food isn't chosen for adventure, it's chosen
- 20:51Speaker 5: for relief. People are just too tired to cook at
- 20:54Speaker 5: home and struggle with figuring out what to cook for dinner.
- 20:56Speaker 5: But people's top choices for when they are too tired
- 21:00Speaker 5: cook they found were five guys and raising canes.
- 21:04Speaker 6: Five guys. Yeah, five guys is expensive.
- 21:06Speaker 5: It is expensive.
- 21:08Speaker 6: I'm like thinking, if you're like out with your family.
- 21:09Speaker 6: I mean, I like it. It's good, don't get me wrong.
- 21:11Speaker 5: But yeah, I mean everything's expensive nowadays, no, one hundred percent.
- 21:15Speaker 5: But they also said for picking up dinner on the
- 21:17Speaker 5: way home, people were most likely to grab raising canes
- 21:20Speaker 5: or The top choice for affordability, yet filling meals was
- 21:25Speaker 5: Panda Express.
- 21:26Speaker 6: I love too.
- 21:27Speaker 4: That is our go to express is good. You know
- 21:30Speaker 4: what my go to man meal is though, like you
- 21:32Speaker 4: go to man meal. It's just such an easy thing
- 21:37Speaker 4: to make, and my son and I eat it all
- 21:39Speaker 4: the time. If you want to make something at home,
- 21:41Speaker 4: and everybody thinks, what else do you make? Just ground
- 21:44Speaker 4: beef rice?
- 21:47Speaker 6: Okay, okay, that's it. That's that's it.
- 21:49Speaker 7: That's it.
- 21:50Speaker 4: No nothing else, okay, just you cook the ground beef,
- 21:53Speaker 4: you cook the rice, you put it together.
- 21:54Speaker 6: They call it man kibble.
- 21:56Speaker 5: You don't, luckily or anything.
- 22:00Speaker 6: Broccoli. What's going on there?
- 22:01Speaker 5: Well, yeah, I mean that's such a good additive to.
- 22:03Speaker 6: The meat, and right, I'm sure it would be if
- 22:05Speaker 6: I had time to cook it.
- 22:06Speaker 4: But that seems complicated, so easy, no, I mean I
- 22:11Speaker 4: do it sometimes in the frozen bag.
- 22:12Speaker 5: Okay, but well, that's good.
- 22:14Speaker 6: You're trying to complicate my man kibble.
- 22:17Speaker 5: Well, I've started doing like the ground beef with Enzo's
- 22:19Speaker 5: macaroni and cheese because I just need him to get
- 22:22Speaker 5: more protein. So it's like a better version of Hamburger Helper.
- 22:25Speaker 6: That sounds good. Yeah, So that you make the maca
- 22:28Speaker 6: cheese and nep with the ground beef in there.
- 22:29Speaker 5: Yeah, just mix it up and then I give him
- 22:31Speaker 5: as broccoli on the side.
- 22:32Speaker 6: Oh that's good. I know I like broccoli, don't get
- 22:35Speaker 6: me wrong. Yeah, But okay, Cannas.
- 22:37Speaker 5: There you go, man, mil alternative. I got for you
- 22:40Speaker 5: real quick, guys. Harry Stalles drops his new album Friday.
- 22:43Speaker 5: He performed at the Brits over the weekend, where fans
- 22:45Speaker 5: were noticing a bunch of promo ads for the album
- 22:47Speaker 5: that also had the Netflix logo on them. While nothing
- 22:51Speaker 5: has been confirmed, people think he could be teasing an
- 22:53Speaker 5: album documentary for Netflix, so I'll definitely keep you posted
- 22:56Speaker 5: on that. I'm Canna slope as. Those are your Texas
- 22:59Speaker 5: top stories.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Get it off your chest to comments you'll feel better.
- 23:04Speaker 7: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret, A.
- 23:05Speaker 6: Mixed one on two point nine.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Good Morning, It's Bailey the Kid, Candice low Past producer
- 23:09Speaker 4: Poo this Monday and is Monday. And oh yeah it's
- 23:12Speaker 4: very it's very Monday. Eating outside it looks like a Monday. Yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 4: it's supposed to be sunny a little bit later on
- 23:17Speaker 4: hopefully high a round eighty. All right, good morning, So
- 23:20Speaker 4: here we go, dirty little secret. If you got one,
- 23:21Speaker 4: eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine,
- 23:24Speaker 4: it doesn't matter what it is, just confess, get it
- 23:26Speaker 4: off your chest, tell us what's going on, big secret,
- 23:28Speaker 4: little secret?
- 23:29Speaker 6: And you got one.
- 23:30Speaker 10: Okay, So I'm about to sound completely insane. I'm gonna
- 23:35Speaker 10: put it out there.
- 23:36Speaker 5: Good.
- 23:36Speaker 10: I love insane, but but my bestie is my bestie,
- 23:40Speaker 10: and I'm always gonna like do what's best for my bestie. Right. So,
- 23:44Speaker 10: she got passed up for a promotion at work. And
- 23:47Speaker 10: this girl slays every day. She outperforms everybody, including this
- 23:52Speaker 10: one random guy in her department, and somehow she got
- 23:55Speaker 10: passed up for promotion.
- 23:57Speaker 9: And he got the perform.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I don't like that.
- 24:01Speaker 10: I know, like we already had our place picked out
- 24:04Speaker 10: for like a celebratory brunch and everything.
- 24:06Speaker 9: So it was like a big disappointment, even to me.
- 24:08Speaker 9: I'm like her best cheerleader.
- 24:09Speaker 6: Right.
- 24:10Speaker 9: Well, her boss tried.
- 24:11Speaker 10: To like smooth it over and say, you know what,
- 24:15Speaker 10: he's not even getting a raised. We just need him
- 24:18Speaker 10: to feel like he's moving up since he's been here
- 24:20Speaker 10: longer than you.
- 24:22Speaker 9: Jeez, God, boss said that, yeah, my friend.
- 24:27Speaker 4: So basically he's getting the promotion because been there longer
- 24:30Speaker 4: and that's the only reason we need to make him
- 24:33Speaker 4: feel like he's moving up.
- 24:35Speaker 10: And like, here's the thing, he has not even been
- 24:38Speaker 10: there that much longer than my friend. And it all
- 24:41Speaker 10: just seems kind of sketchy that he made it a
- 24:43Speaker 10: point to say, like, oh, he's not getting more money.
- 24:45Speaker 9: It's just like a title.
- 24:47Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 24:47Speaker 10: So I did what any rational best friend would do,
- 24:53Speaker 10: and I went.
- 24:54Speaker 4: On a date with this guy what not with the
- 24:58Speaker 4: guy that the boss, No, not the boss, the guy
- 25:00Speaker 4: who got to raise or promotion.
- 25:02Speaker 10: Obviously, yes, not because I like him, not because I
- 25:05Speaker 10: want to be with him, but because I wanted to
- 25:08Speaker 10: find out how much is this guy making.
- 25:15Speaker 6: Extra extra?
- 25:18Speaker 4: You actually went out on a date with this guy
- 25:21Speaker 4: to be nosy in a snoop even though you are
- 25:23Speaker 4: not interested whatsoever?
- 25:25Speaker 7: Good for you?
- 25:26Speaker 6: Good for you?
- 25:27Speaker 4: Yes? I did.
- 25:28Speaker 7: I got.
- 25:28Speaker 5: I can't see if this boss is lying or what
- 25:30Speaker 5: what what's really going on?
- 25:32Speaker 6: Candice over here?
- 25:33Speaker 1: Okay, I'm just watching.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Sure, So what happened?
- 25:39Speaker 9: Well?
- 25:39Speaker 10: I was ready, you know, I've taken some acting classes,
- 25:42Speaker 10: so I was ready to just order an appetizer and
- 25:45Speaker 10: like slide in, you know, something really funny, like so, so,
- 25:48Speaker 10: what's the new satary looking like?
- 25:50Speaker 9: Or you know whatever.
- 25:52Speaker 10: Yeah, this man, this man would not crack. So I
- 25:56Speaker 10: tried everything. I tried, you know, making jokes like, oh, hey,
- 26:00Speaker 10: you know, are we celebrating a big pay bump?
- 26:02Speaker 9: And you know, how's the new role going?
- 26:04Speaker 10: And things like that, are we celebrating a raise tonight?
- 26:07Speaker 9: Because I like did a toast and he just be
- 26:10Speaker 9: saying like really vague stuff.
- 26:12Speaker 6: This is hysterical. So you do all this to find
- 26:16Speaker 6: Please tell me you found out? Did he get a raise?
- 26:19Speaker 9: Did not find out? Nothing? Oh my, but here's the
- 26:25Speaker 9: worst part. Now I have a stage five clinger. Oh
- 26:30Speaker 9: it gets worse.
- 26:30Speaker 10: The man is in love with me, will not leave
- 26:34Speaker 10: me alone.
- 26:35Speaker 9: But the problem is, y'all, I have a boyfriend.
- 26:39Speaker 7: You have a.
- 26:40Speaker 6: Boyfriend, and you went out with this. I don't even
- 26:42Speaker 6: know why. I assume you didn't. I assume you were.
- 26:45Speaker 5: Single because he goes out on a date, you have
- 26:48Speaker 5: a safe date, you have a boyfriend.
- 26:51Speaker 10: And now I have a Stage five claner who texts.
- 26:54Speaker 9: Me good morning every morning. That kind of clinger? Did you?
- 26:57Speaker 6: You didn't tell your boyfriend that you did this?
- 27:00Speaker 9: No, because I don't think.
- 27:01Speaker 10: I mean, hello, you're already like you had a boyfriend,
- 27:03Speaker 10: and I don't think he would understand.
- 27:05Speaker 7: No.
- 27:05Speaker 6: I don't think he would either.
- 27:06Speaker 4: But problem some people have crazy relationships where theyell the
- 27:09Speaker 4: I'm gonna go on a date with this guy.
- 27:10Speaker 6: And be like okay, whatever. Yeah, some people are crazy.
- 27:13Speaker 6: I wouldn't be like okay with it at all.
- 27:16Speaker 5: So I told you, Wow, I think.
- 27:18Speaker 9: I sounded crazy.
- 27:19Speaker 10: I went on a freaking date with a guy with
- 27:21Speaker 10: a boyfriend just to do a personal salary investigation. We're
- 27:25Speaker 10: besty and now ske singer. I'm freaked out that my
- 27:28Speaker 10: boyfriend will flip out if he finds out. And I
- 27:31Speaker 10: didn't even get the tea and now I've just created
- 27:34Speaker 10: this disaster. And the moral of the story, you guys
- 27:37Speaker 10: is just be careful how far you go for your
- 27:40Speaker 10: ride or die, bestie, because sometimes you just take a
- 27:43Speaker 10: ride into chaos. And that is my life right now.
- 27:45Speaker 6: I gotta say though, people need you are a ride
- 27:50Speaker 6: or die friend for real. I mean, look at you.
- 27:53Speaker 6: She ought to love you forever for this.
- 27:55Speaker 5: I feel like I need the raise after all you
- 27:58Speaker 5: do you do.
- 27:59Speaker 4: Because that is something I don't know. I wouldn't have
- 28:01Speaker 4: done this for for I gotta be honest, Pooh. I
- 28:03Speaker 4: love you, Pooh, but if you asked me to do this,
- 28:05Speaker 4: I'd be like, no, what I would do it for you? Well,
- 28:08Speaker 4: you want to go on any kind of date?
- 28:11Speaker 3: All right?
- 28:12Speaker 7: He's going for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 28:16Speaker 7: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 28:18Speaker 6: Y'all get up, Get up. This is this court today
- 28:22Speaker 6: on a Monday. It's not all rises. Get up, Okay,
- 28:25Speaker 6: stand up? Is this kid's court? Oa Cliff, Yeah, get up,
- 28:30Speaker 6: y'all better stand up.
- 28:31Speaker 4: It's mixed one or two point nine Billy the Kid,
- 28:34Speaker 4: Candaslowpez producer, Pooh, enough's enough, get up and respect this court.
- 28:38Speaker 4: Put some respect on it, all right, Candislowpez, she's the judge.
- 28:41Speaker 4: If you got a problem at Candace on air, you
- 28:43Speaker 4: can always reach out to her on Instagram.
- 28:45Speaker 6: Figure it out. Okay.
- 28:46Speaker 4: She will be totally fair. That's what she does at
- 28:49Speaker 4: Canda on air. Oh that rhymes? That does s bars
- 28:53Speaker 4: at candaisan air. Nothing look fair? Okay, all right, Candace,
- 28:56Speaker 4: are you ready for today's case?
- 28:57Speaker 5: Maddie.
- 28:58Speaker 4: So, I have a work issue I would like to
- 29:00Speaker 4: have on Kandas Court. I wonder if any of you
- 29:03Speaker 4: have ever had this issue, considering you're around music all day.
- 29:07Speaker 4: Oh my co worker is a singer.
- 29:09Speaker 6: Oh boy.
- 29:10Speaker 4: I don't mean like a professional singer. I just mean
- 29:13Speaker 4: she sings a lot. She's constantly singing around the office.
- 29:18Speaker 6: Not humming. I'm talking full on singing every single day. Oh,
- 29:25Speaker 6: I wonder who this is. Yeah, sounds like someone we
- 29:28Speaker 6: work with.
- 29:29Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 29:29Speaker 6: It sounds very much like, in all due respect, you're honor.
- 29:32Speaker 6: Yeah you do.
- 29:36Speaker 5: I'm going to deny it.
- 29:37Speaker 4: I have so many recordings of Cannas just randomly singing,
- 29:40Speaker 4: like the Teddy Swims part where she sings.
- 29:45Speaker 5: I just feel like I low key would have been
- 29:47Speaker 5: a good backup singer. Not but like somebody in the way,
- 29:51Speaker 5: back way back.
- 29:52Speaker 4: Up, like the backup to the backup. Yeah exactly, Yeah,
- 29:56Speaker 4: that's you right there. Wow were you on that Teddy
- 29:59Speaker 4: Swim song?
- 29:59Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 30:00Speaker 6: Yes, Okay.
- 30:02Speaker 4: Anyway, the problem is this person goes on and says,
- 30:04Speaker 4: I actually need to focus on my job. I'm on
- 30:08Speaker 4: calls with clients regularly, and so I have to remind
- 30:12Speaker 4: her multiple times a day to please keep it down.
- 30:14Speaker 4: I try to be cool about it, but it's like
- 30:16Speaker 4: the message never gets through to her. She will stop
- 30:19Speaker 4: for a few minutes and then it's right back to it.
- 30:22Speaker 4: Not to be mean, but she's a terrible singer.
- 30:25Speaker 6: Ah like that.
- 30:29Speaker 4: That makes it even harder for me to tune out.
- 30:31Speaker 4: I don't really want to involve our boss, but I'm
- 30:34Speaker 4: reaching the end of my patience.
- 30:36Speaker 6: Oh wow, I love this one.
- 30:38Speaker 5: Did you guys write this?
- 30:40Speaker 4: Yeah, we run the actually wrote this about you. This
- 30:43Speaker 4: is an intervention. It's not a canvas court. Okay, Now,
- 30:47Speaker 4: I can totally understand how this would be annoying. I think, Judge,
- 30:50Speaker 4: and all due respect, you're gonna be biased about this
- 30:52Speaker 4: because this is literally you.
- 30:54Speaker 6: This is literally you.
- 30:55Speaker 4: Shared workspace workspace workspace workspace is is special. No, but seriously, though,
- 31:02Speaker 4: when you're that close to people all day, you gotta
- 31:05Speaker 4: be considerate about others.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Yeah, that's got to be a nightmare, because like, we
- 31:09Speaker 5: don't take individual phone calls at our job, Like some
- 31:12Speaker 5: people do, Like we take phone calls as a group,
- 31:14Speaker 5: you know what I mean, which is much better because
- 31:16Speaker 5: we know, I know when not to sing. That's the difference,
- 31:19Speaker 5: you know, thank God. Like and we play music. We
- 31:22Speaker 5: listen to music all day and so it's like, how
- 31:24Speaker 5: is something not going to be stuck in my head?
- 31:26Speaker 4: We do. But if we're if we're in a regular office,
- 31:28Speaker 4: like even here are salespeople, they're in cubicles. Yeah, they're
- 31:31Speaker 4: on top of each other if they have to take
- 31:33Speaker 4: a call to any kind of personal call, which is
- 31:36Speaker 4: a lot of not even business, just business. You want
- 31:38Speaker 4: to be kind of have your own space in any call. Yeah,
- 31:40Speaker 4: I don't know how people work at cubicles, so they
- 31:42Speaker 4: have to go to like little rooms that we have
- 31:44Speaker 4: if they want to talk. But that's annoying.
- 31:46Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 31:46Speaker 4: So if you're on top of each other and you're singing,
- 31:49Speaker 4: oh my god, Like if who was doing this to me?
- 31:52Speaker 4: And like, if we're around each other enough, if he
- 31:54Speaker 4: started singing all day, I'd be like, dude, you got
- 31:56Speaker 4: to shut up. Come on, you know, you gotta stop.
- 32:00Speaker 4: I absolutely think now is this something though, Cannis, you
- 32:02Speaker 4: want to take to.
- 32:03Speaker 5: The boss, right, I mean I don't know that you
- 32:05Speaker 5: want to take it to the boss. If it's impacting
- 32:07Speaker 5: your work, yeah, it's gonna be an issue. But then
- 32:10Speaker 5: I wonder do they have like the little phone booths
- 32:12Speaker 5: at this office and it's like, well, she's just trying
- 32:15Speaker 5: to stay or at the desk and work, you know
- 32:18Speaker 5: what I mean. Also, I'd really like to know what
- 32:20Speaker 5: this coworker is singing? Is it like, is it wicked?
- 32:24Speaker 6: It doesn't matter what.
- 32:25Speaker 4: There's levels tho, it's annoying, you know, Okay, No, it's
- 32:28Speaker 4: annoying no matter what is going on. I would be
- 32:30Speaker 4: I would go crazy, like what does your annoying coworker do?
- 32:33Speaker 4: Eight three three seven eight seven one nine? What does
- 32:37Speaker 4: that one annoying coworker do? Maybe something that bugs you
- 32:40Speaker 4: every single day? But it's not something you could technically
- 32:42Speaker 4: go to the boss for, because this is in that
- 32:43Speaker 4: gray area where you're like, how do you go to
- 32:45Speaker 4: the boss and be like, oh my.
- 32:46Speaker 6: God, Lisa will not stop singing?
- 32:48Speaker 1: Right, you're grown, move cubicles if you have to.
- 32:52Speaker 5: Don't have that.
- 32:53Speaker 4: Maybe you don't have that option, don't go to the
- 32:54Speaker 4: balls to do it. I wouldn't go to the boss technically,
- 32:57Speaker 4: I would just probably have it out with this person.
- 32:59Speaker 6: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 33:01Speaker 4: People go to the boss for petty your things, so
- 33:03Speaker 4: yeah they do. I'm curious, Candice. It doesn't matter what
- 33:05Speaker 4: we think, It doesn't matter what poo thinks. It matters
- 33:07Speaker 4: what you think you are. And I know how it's
- 33:09Speaker 4: gonna go. You do yeah, because you're a singer, you're
- 33:12Speaker 4: this person I am. Yeah, So we'll see what the
- 33:14Speaker 4: verdict is. But I have a feeling. I know it's way.
- 33:16Speaker 4: It's gonna sway.
- 33:17Speaker 3: Well.
- 33:17Speaker 5: See, the difference is that I know my limits, and
- 33:20Speaker 5: I too can be annoyed by someone singing. This person
- 33:22Speaker 5: is guilty of being a tone daft Tanya. Whoa I mean,
- 33:26Speaker 5: if you're a sing sing well, at least I was
- 33:29Speaker 5: on key when I sing, and I sing the best
- 33:31Speaker 5: parts of the songs, you know what I mean.
- 33:33Speaker 6: Okay, you were on key?
- 33:35Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:35Speaker 6: Well what key?
- 33:38Speaker 5: Hikey low key, hikey on key?
- 33:43Speaker 6: You were on key?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 33:44Speaker 4: Okay, next time you do this, I'm gonna record it
- 33:48Speaker 4: and we'll see. Okay, she is guilty of being a.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Ton Tanya, right on key.
- 33:57Speaker 7: These Texas Tough stories on the Dance with the Kid
- 34:00Speaker 7: in the.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Morning only on the new Mix one or two point nine.
- 34:04Speaker 4: Yes, on a Monday morning, and struggle is real. But
- 34:06Speaker 4: you got this good news is Disneyland vacation on us.
- 34:09Speaker 4: You can win that, So listen.
- 34:10Speaker 6: That's coming up.
- 34:11Speaker 4: Like I'm thirty minutes away, so make sure you have
- 34:13Speaker 4: a song. Candice Lopez, what is.
- 34:15Speaker 6: Going on in our world?
- 34:16Speaker 7: Well?
- 34:16Speaker 5: I do want to update you. The Pentagon just held
- 34:18Speaker 5: a briefing to address the expanding war with Iran. Three
- 34:22Speaker 5: US fighter jets, they say, accidentally shot down by Kuwaiti
- 34:25Speaker 5: air defenses. The US military says this is a friendly
- 34:29Speaker 5: fire incident, and then all crews have been recovered and
- 34:32Speaker 5: are in stable condition. They also confirmed hundreds of missions
- 34:36Speaker 5: over land and see our in progress and that the
- 34:39Speaker 5: US has air superiority. And that's the latest. I'm sure
- 34:42Speaker 5: we're going to hear more about this as the morning continues,
- 34:46Speaker 5: but I wanted to update you on that.
- 34:47Speaker 6: Well, I mean, real quick, how do you accidentally shoot
- 34:50Speaker 6: somebody down?
- 34:51Speaker 3: Yeah? Like what you at?
- 34:53Speaker 6: You accident? Can we not figure this out?
- 34:56Speaker 4: We're shooting people down and then you know it's not US,
- 34:58Speaker 4: it's Kuwait But still that's pretty that's an intense mistake.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Yeah, I made some mistakes on the job.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Never that bad, No, thankfully, Nah, the pilots are okay, yes,
- 35:09Speaker 5: and let me upd you on the weather here at
- 35:10Speaker 5: home this week, very springlight start to the work week.
- 35:14Speaker 5: We'll have some clouds today, a high around seventy five,
- 35:16Speaker 5: but overall warm this week. Rain chances start Wednesday. They
- 35:20Speaker 5: are saying we have a decent chance for severe thunderstorms
- 35:24Speaker 5: at sixty two outside right now. And Dallas police are
- 35:28Speaker 5: searching for a driver who struck a motorcycle officer early
- 35:31Speaker 5: this morning on I thirty five. This call caused a
- 35:34Speaker 5: multi mile backup northbound I thirty five passed Inwood near Commonwealth.
- 35:40Speaker 5: That police officer was headed home on his department motorcycle
- 35:43Speaker 5: when it was struck. That driver left the scene. The
- 35:46Speaker 5: officer was able to get off of the roadway, but
- 35:49Speaker 5: then his motorcycle was hit by another car. Thankfully, I
- 35:52Speaker 5: know it was kind of chaotic this morning over there,
- 35:55Speaker 5: but thankfully he wasn't hit. He was transported to the
- 35:58Speaker 5: hospital expected to recover, but police did later find an
- 36:02Speaker 5: abandoned vehicle that appeared to be the one involved, so
- 36:05Speaker 5: they're now looking for the person responsible. But that was
- 36:08Speaker 5: just a you know, a traffic mess over there this morning.
- 36:12Speaker 5: And NBC says they will take a hard look at
- 36:14Speaker 5: Pink while she guest hosts The Kelly Clarkson Show this week.
- 36:18Speaker 5: They will be considering her to replace Kelly when that
- 36:21Speaker 5: show comes to an end later this year. A source
- 36:24Speaker 5: is saying, Pink, you know, how's what it takes. She's
- 36:26Speaker 5: natural and friendly, super nice and easy to work with.
- 36:29Speaker 5: And I also heard that she's actually already moved from
- 36:32Speaker 5: California to New York City where the show is taped,
- 36:36Speaker 5: so that would be a big sign that maybe this
- 36:37Speaker 5: is gonna be her job.
- 36:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I think she would do great.
- 36:40Speaker 4: Honestly, I saw somebody hating on her online and I'm
- 36:43Speaker 4: so tired of this, Like celebrities, people age.
- 36:47Speaker 6: Yeah, so I don't know.
- 36:49Speaker 4: Someone posted a picture of Pink and they were going
- 36:51Speaker 4: in They were like, oh my god, she looks so
- 36:54Speaker 4: different people age.
- 36:57Speaker 5: Yeah, she's a mom, a woman, a musician.
- 36:59Speaker 4: For like, maybe she's not what you remember, but you know,
- 37:04Speaker 4: I feel so bad for celebrities who have to or
- 37:07Speaker 4: anyone who have to go through this because they don't
- 37:09Speaker 4: want to get tons of work done that's their prerogative. Yeah,
- 37:13Speaker 4: don't like everybody. Over the weekend, the big thing was
- 37:15Speaker 4: Jim Carrey is cloned. Oh Jim Carrey, that's not him,
- 37:20Speaker 4: That is not him. He's looks so different, his eyes
- 37:24Speaker 4: are different. He's sixty four years old, right, he's not.
- 37:29Speaker 4: And people are going in on it. This is a conspiracy,
- 37:32Speaker 4: it's not. I think I didn't see it. I'm like,
- 37:35Speaker 4: this is him. If anything, he's acting different because he's
- 37:37Speaker 4: an artist, and I think he's doing something performative to like,
- 37:41Speaker 4: he's creating a character. She's always done, she's always done.
- 37:44Speaker 4: He's done a character to me, and like, this is
- 37:47Speaker 4: obviously Jim Carrey. But I just don't get like how
- 37:50Speaker 4: we'll go in on you. Oh that's not them.
- 37:52Speaker 7: Now.
- 37:52Speaker 4: Britney Spears is a little bit different. Oh yeah, because
- 37:55Speaker 4: that's not That feels like it's more than aging. Feels
- 37:58Speaker 4: like there's something else going on, and her physical appearance
- 38:01Speaker 4: looks different and that's sad. Yeah, but can we get
- 38:03Speaker 4: over calling like celebrities or anybody out going, Oh my god,
- 38:08Speaker 4: she's cloned? Yet not everybody people age people look different. Yeah,
- 38:14Speaker 4: it doesn't, And I'd like, you know, people don't want
- 38:16Speaker 4: to have maybe necessarily facelifts, botox and all this. Sometimes
- 38:20Speaker 4: it's it is what it is.
- 38:21Speaker 5: Yeah, I agree, I agree, and I appreciate you saying that.
- 38:24Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 38:24Speaker 5: I'm Canda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories. Oh
- 38:27Speaker 5: that's a hot take.
- 38:29Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Here's today's hot take.
- 38:31Speaker 4: I can't wait to talk about this. It's mixed one
- 38:33Speaker 4: or two point nine. Bill at a kid, Canda Slopez
- 38:35Speaker 4: is here, producer who is here? And you know, there's
- 38:37Speaker 4: always drama around dating. Dating sucks.
- 38:39Speaker 6: It's not easy. It is not easy out here for
- 38:41Speaker 6: men or women.
- 38:42Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
- 38:43Speaker 4: And some people are like, Billy, you always signed with
- 38:44Speaker 4: the women? And well usually because they're saying, yeah, men
- 38:48Speaker 4: are crazy.
- 38:49Speaker 6: Oh yeah, sometimes I side with the guys.
- 38:51Speaker 4: Don't get me wrong. Who always sides with the guys?
- 38:54Speaker 4: I feel like we'll see in this situation what you think.
- 38:56Speaker 4: So this guy posted about how he had a date
- 38:59Speaker 4: set up a first date, was gonna grab a drink
- 39:00Speaker 4: with a woman, right, and she text him about an
- 39:04Speaker 4: hour before the date, so they were going out seven.
- 39:07Speaker 4: She send him a text at five point fifty eight,
- 39:09Speaker 4: and he actually posted the screen shot on X and
- 39:13Speaker 4: had people comment what they thought about it. He said,
- 39:16Speaker 4: if you got this an hour before a first date
- 39:18Speaker 4: on a Friday night, would you cancel? He wrote, And
- 39:22Speaker 4: then you could see the screenshot of what she said.
- 39:24Speaker 6: She says. The girl says, hey, excited to meet for
- 39:28Speaker 6: a drink.
- 39:29Speaker 4: Just wanted to say, I have a friend's birthday party
- 39:31Speaker 4: at nine thirty, so we'll have to wrap it up before.
- 39:34Speaker 6: Then, but see you soon. Okay, that's what she said,
- 39:39Speaker 6: and he goes, Hmm, I don't like that.
- 39:43Speaker 4: Oh, cancels the date thirty minutes beforehand. Oh, thirty minutes
- 39:49Speaker 4: before the date. This guy cancels the date because he goes,
- 39:53Speaker 4: I don't like that. I don't like the way that feels.
- 39:56Speaker 4: I don't like that because you know, I'm sorry, I
- 39:58Speaker 4: asked you out for a drink and now you telling
- 40:00Speaker 4: me we're gonna have to wrap it up.
- 40:02Speaker 6: He didn't like it.
- 40:03Speaker 4: People were mixed on it, though, surprisingly because to me,
- 40:05Speaker 4: I mean, I feel like I definitely know who's in
- 40:08Speaker 4: the wrong here. Yeah, and it's definitely himm hmm, definitely him.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Did she literally say wrap it up?
- 40:14Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 40:14Speaker 5: That's cringe if she did, or was it just paraphrasy?
- 40:18Speaker 6: No, No, no, I'm reading the text verbiacause words are cringe.
- 40:21Speaker 4: She said, excited to meet for a drink. Just wanted
- 40:23Speaker 4: to say, I have a friend's birthday party nine thirty,
- 40:25Speaker 4: so we'll have to wrap it up before then see
- 40:27Speaker 4: you soon.
- 40:28Speaker 6: No, you ain't gonna tell me to wrap it up.
- 40:30Speaker 1: First of all, we planned for his date, So.
- 40:32Speaker 6: You're meeting at seven, she has a party at nine thirty.
- 40:35Speaker 6: You're meeting for a drink. Okay, okay, yeah, she's.
- 40:39Speaker 5: Giving good expectations. The communication is very clear. But why
- 40:42Speaker 5: did she wait till then to tell him? Wouldn't she
- 40:45Speaker 5: tell him when he when they planned the date?
- 40:47Speaker 4: Why would she have to tell him anything she knew
- 40:49Speaker 4: about her friend's birthday to tell I would know about
- 40:51Speaker 4: her friend's birthday way before I make plans with some girl.
- 40:55Speaker 6: What does it matter? Because what does it mean?
- 40:57Speaker 4: So wait, so you're you're telling me because first of all,
- 41:01Speaker 4: it's not a dinner, it's a drink.
- 41:03Speaker 6: That's mean for a drink.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Totally get that a drink?
- 41:06Speaker 4: You need two and a half hours, you expect if
- 41:09Speaker 4: we call for a drink, we're gonna be out all night.
- 41:11Speaker 6: The convo might be good.
- 41:12Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 41:13Speaker 4: We might it might be the party with exactly, but
- 41:16Speaker 4: he screwed up and he fumbled the bag because he's
- 41:18Speaker 4: so dumb and he thinks he's entitled to her entire night.
- 41:22Speaker 5: Yeah, she sounds really considerate, like if you were going
- 41:25Speaker 5: to plan anything else like later, this is the time
- 41:28Speaker 5: frame that we're open for.
- 41:30Speaker 6: I thought.
- 41:30Speaker 4: I thought it was actually something she didn't even have
- 41:32Speaker 4: to feel obligated to do. Well, why not just say, hey,
- 41:35Speaker 4: let's just meet Saturday because I have something to do.
- 41:38Speaker 4: Have you ever set up a date and said, hey,
- 41:40Speaker 4: I'm I have to leave it this time?
- 41:42Speaker 2: No?
- 41:43Speaker 6: No, he never said that, right.
- 41:45Speaker 4: So guess what because you're not But you don't expect
- 41:47Speaker 4: to be out with that person all night long on
- 41:51Speaker 4: a first date for a drink.
- 41:53Speaker 8: Just if I make a date with you, it's me
- 41:55Speaker 8: and you, not a time stamp on it. I got
- 42:00Speaker 8: leave so I can go somewhere else. No, then I
- 42:02Speaker 8: don't want your time.
- 42:03Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 42:04Speaker 5: I feel like this is something maybe I would have
- 42:06Speaker 5: done back in the day because I feel like I'm
- 42:08Speaker 5: considerative people's time and I want them to know, like
- 42:11Speaker 5: this is what the expectation is. Yes, you know this
- 42:14Speaker 5: is where I have to be.
- 42:15Speaker 4: I thought it was overly considerate of hurt. Now then,
- 42:17Speaker 4: so he writes back, or basically, this is what he
- 42:19Speaker 4: says online. I don't know if he wrote this to her,
- 42:21Speaker 4: but he canceled the date, and I thought it was interesting.
- 42:23Speaker 4: He didn't really post what he said to her back,
- 42:26Speaker 4: but he canceled thirty minutes before and then on X
- 42:28Speaker 4: when he posted, he said, she's just trying to kill
- 42:30Speaker 4: time and maybe get a couple pregame drinks in Oh,
- 42:35Speaker 4: she does what she actually wants to do.
- 42:37Speaker 6: No thanks, Wow, Yeah.
- 42:42Speaker 1: I wouldn't do that, but I still want Would you.
- 42:44Speaker 5: Assume that she just wants a free drink? He's got
- 42:47Speaker 5: bad dating history, and he's putting it off on.
- 42:49Speaker 6: This while right like, don't carry your baggage over to
- 42:52Speaker 6: the next time.
- 42:53Speaker 5: Yeah, red flag, Yeah you're the red flag.
- 42:55Speaker 4: He thinks she's the red flag. So I love what
- 42:57Speaker 4: she says back though, because and he posted it.
- 43:00Speaker 6: He posted it. He cancels thirty minutes before the date.
- 43:04Speaker 6: She texts him this.
- 43:06Speaker 4: She says, it's pretty rude to cancel on someone thirty
- 43:09Speaker 4: minutes before I took the time to do my makeup
- 43:11Speaker 4: outfit and get ready. I'm dating intentionally. In two hours
- 43:14Speaker 4: is more than enough time to get to know someone
- 43:17Speaker 4: for a first date. So not sure what you were thinking.
- 43:20Speaker 4: I don't think we're on the same page here, So
- 43:23Speaker 4: I'm going to reject our rain check.
- 43:25Speaker 6: Oh because he said we should just reschedule.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Okay, we should just reschedule if you don't have all night, right, bro?
- 43:32Speaker 5: Save your money?
- 43:33Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 43:34Speaker 6: Like nothing.
- 43:35Speaker 4: Would you not agree that after if a guy did
- 43:38Speaker 4: that to you, would you be out, out out out
- 43:41Speaker 4: I'm out anyway.
- 43:43Speaker 5: I'm telling you, I'm just rescheduling.
- 43:46Speaker 1: I've never had a girl cancel on me like that
- 43:48Speaker 1: to go, So he's not canceling.
- 43:50Speaker 8: I'm just saying, when I've gone out on dates or whatever,
- 43:54Speaker 8: it's me and that person.
- 43:55Speaker 1: I've never had somebody say cha I'm about it is.
- 43:58Speaker 6: You and that person. That's what I don't think you're understanding.
- 44:00Speaker 6: It's still you two going out. You're just she's somewhere.
- 44:05Speaker 6: But does she it's a first date? You you expect
- 44:07Speaker 6: her to stay all night with you?
- 44:09Speaker 1: I mean I don't, I mean no, no, I mean
- 44:12Speaker 1: I just say, how long does a.
- 44:14Speaker 6: First date go on? A drink?
- 44:15Speaker 7: Like?
- 44:16Speaker 6: Let's wrap it up. Two and a half hours is enough?
- 44:18Speaker 5: That sounds like plenty of times perfect. Be different if
- 44:21Speaker 5: when they planned the day, she was like, Yeah, that
- 44:22Speaker 5: sounds good. We can meet for a drink at seven.
- 44:24Speaker 5: I just have to be at a party by nine thirty?
- 44:27Speaker 5: Is that different?
- 44:28Speaker 8: If I would have heard that, I would have been like, okay, cool.
- 44:32Speaker 8: I probably wouldn't have been as many.
- 44:33Speaker 6: You're control free?
- 44:34Speaker 5: Interesting you are.
- 44:38Speaker 4: If a guy said if I was dating, and some
- 44:40Speaker 4: guys said that to me, I'd be like, uh, what,
- 44:42Speaker 4: what the why are you so concerned what I'm doing
- 44:45Speaker 4: after our date? We're busy. If I schedule any amount
- 44:48Speaker 4: of time, then shouldn't he be grateful? Yeah, shouldn't be
- 44:52Speaker 4: grateful that? Oh, like, she's going out of her way
- 44:54Speaker 4: to make a couple hours for me. I appreciate that
- 44:56Speaker 4: and I'll take it. If he would have just been, hey,
- 44:59Speaker 4: let's have a good time and not focus on anything else,
- 45:01Speaker 4: I bet any money he'd have been she would have
- 45:03Speaker 4: been like, Hey, you should just.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Come with me to this thing exactly what's going super good?
- 45:08Speaker 7: Yeah, why don't you just come?
- 45:09Speaker 5: That's on him, don't be a weirdo. Look at the
- 45:12Speaker 5: party with me. Thank you.
- 45:13Speaker 6: You know more of this story, don't be a weirdo.
- 45:16Speaker 4: Yeah, and I know exactly now so many people like, hey,
- 45:19Speaker 4: I think I know why poohs single Oh.
- 45:22Speaker 6: Put this on the list. The first drink.
- 45:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna have to spend the whole weekend with my god,
- 45:28Speaker 4: it's Bairely the kid candicelowpans producer poo Earlier were talking
- 45:31Speaker 4: about this annoying things your coworkers do. So maybe we'll
- 45:35Speaker 4: go over what annoys us with each other and just confess.
- 45:38Speaker 4: It's almost like a dirty little secret.
- 45:39Speaker 5: Sure.
- 45:39Speaker 4: Yeah, but I'm gonna let you guys go first to
- 45:41Speaker 4: see how mean you are, and then I'll gauge myself.
- 45:44Speaker 4: I mean, I want to be though first though. Okay, Brittany,
- 45:47Speaker 4: you got one. What thing does your coworker do or.
- 45:49Speaker 11: He takes multiple breaks throughout the day to go smoke.
- 45:54Speaker 11: Then she comes back into our very tiny office. It's
- 45:57Speaker 11: knowing like a bar.
- 45:58Speaker 4: Oh, yes, we know people who do this, and like,
- 46:04Speaker 4: I don't smoke, so I'm very sensed when it comes
- 46:06Speaker 4: to smoke.
- 46:07Speaker 11: Yes, me too, Like I've kept receipts on it because
- 46:11Speaker 11: she drives me insane. Uh. She gets there like nine forty.
- 46:14Speaker 11: Every day she's supposed to be there at nine. She
- 46:16Speaker 11: leaves at four every day she's not supposed to live
- 46:18Speaker 11: until five.
- 46:19Speaker 6: God, she a supervisor. How does she get away with
- 46:23Speaker 6: all this?
- 46:25Speaker 11: Because she's essentially up one of the managers. But she
- 46:29Speaker 11: also will talk to herself throughout the day and it
- 46:32Speaker 11: distracts me. So I listen to music. So as I'm
- 46:36Speaker 11: listening to music, she's talking to me, and I can't
- 46:38Speaker 11: realize that she's talking because I think she's talking to herself,
- 46:45Speaker 11: and so I'm like, I had to push my earphone off.
- 46:48Speaker 11: I'm like, oh, I'm sorry, I was, you know, I
- 46:49Speaker 11: was jamming.
- 46:50Speaker 7: What is it?
- 46:51Speaker 11: What did you need? And she goes, don't you just
- 46:53Speaker 11: hate it working here? And I'm like every day.
- 46:59Speaker 3: Now.
- 46:59Speaker 4: The smoke thing is weird because we've had arguments about
- 47:02Speaker 4: people who smoke, like how many breaks do they get?
- 47:04Speaker 11: Because like, if I left my desk for fifteen minutes
- 47:06Speaker 11: a day or like fifteen minute increment a day, I
- 47:10Speaker 11: get in trouble.
- 47:10Speaker 6: How many times do you think she goes out?
- 47:12Speaker 11: Oh, I've the highest one that she's because again I
- 47:15Speaker 11: get peeved by this fust county. The highest that she's
- 47:17Speaker 11: done in a day is six six bas Oh.
- 47:21Speaker 6: My smoke iverged it out.
- 47:23Speaker 11: Let's just say it was ten minutes eat. She spent
- 47:26Speaker 11: an hour of that work day. But she already gets
- 47:29Speaker 11: there forty minutes late and leaves an hour early. Yeah,
- 47:32Speaker 11: an hour smoking.
- 47:33Speaker 5: Just go out there and drink your diet coke, your
- 47:35Speaker 5: fridge cigarette.
- 47:40Speaker 11: My husband, I said, I need one of those cigarettes
- 47:42Speaker 11: that look like a cigarette but they blow out bubbles.
- 47:44Speaker 6: Yeah, just get candy cigarettes. Yeah, thank you, Brittany.
- 47:50Speaker 4: Oh okay, and there's some good ones coming into add
- 47:51Speaker 4: Billy on the radio. On Instagram, Michelle and Plano says,
- 47:54Speaker 4: my cubicle neighbor is the worst. She's a loud talker. Ooh,
- 48:00Speaker 4: talkers are intense, especially first thing in the morning.
- 48:03Speaker 6: Oh yeah, that person's like morning, You're like, get some
- 48:08Speaker 6: thoughts together, calm down.
- 48:10Speaker 4: Farah and Arlington said, the woman in the cubicle next
- 48:12Speaker 4: to me wears too much perfume.
- 48:15Speaker 6: Oh, and to make it worse, it's cheap perfume. Oh,
- 48:19Speaker 6: that does make it worse, Right, how do you tell
- 48:21Speaker 6: someone you can't? Really? But it becomes a problem. Smells
- 48:24Speaker 6: when you're around people.
- 48:25Speaker 4: Gotta be careful about your smells, Sarah, and for Wrest said, oh, now,
- 48:29Speaker 4: co worker, my coworker is not only a loud talker,
- 48:31Speaker 4: but she's allowed typer.
- 48:33Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 48:36Speaker 6: Oh interesting, I think we work with one of those.
- 48:38Speaker 5: Well, when my nails are longer, then it's louder. Yeah,
- 48:42Speaker 5: and you could hear it more. So that's what I
- 48:43Speaker 5: have my nail foul here. If it gets too loud,
- 48:45Speaker 5: I just try to file my nails a little bit.
- 48:47Speaker 6: Okay, Well, while we're out it, go ahead and just
- 48:49Speaker 6: say Candice, what bothers me? Or what bothers you about me?
- 48:52Speaker 6: And pooh?
- 48:53Speaker 5: Well, lately you've started voice texting your phone a lot.
- 48:56Speaker 6: Man. It's like, yeah, are you talking to me? Or pooh,
- 48:58Speaker 6: I'm talking to you?
- 48:59Speaker 5: Oh okay, yeah, it sounds like you don't notice it. Well,
- 49:02Speaker 5: we'll just be sitting here and then all of a
- 49:03Speaker 5: sudden you'll be like, yeah, I'm gonna be there at
- 49:05Speaker 5: ten thirty. What okay, all right, we'll tell her that's
- 49:10Speaker 5: not cool.
- 49:11Speaker 1: What it's not cool?
- 49:14Speaker 5: Well, yeah, because I need the other side. I need
- 49:16Speaker 5: the other read back what's being texted to you in
- 49:19Speaker 5: between your voice text And then I'll be.
- 49:20Speaker 6: Like cool if I wasn't if I was texting, you
- 49:23Speaker 6: wouldn't know the other side anyway.
- 49:24Speaker 5: I know, okay, I know half the story and I
- 49:27Speaker 5: need the other hand.
- 49:28Speaker 6: All right, let me mentally note that. Yeah, okay, I
- 49:31Speaker 6: got it. All right, there you go. Don't go ahead, puh,
- 49:34Speaker 6: since you're going in on me, go ahead.
- 49:35Speaker 8: What do I do that annoys you? As you really
- 49:37Speaker 8: don't do? Nothing that annoys me about you is that
- 49:41Speaker 8: you prank me? And I guess the annoying thing is
- 49:44Speaker 8: because I never can get you. I try to, I
- 49:47Speaker 8: try to do it, I start laughing or whatever. But yeah,
- 49:50Speaker 8: that's all the thing. Yeah, it gets me all the time.
- 49:55Speaker 5: Place prankster.
- 49:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it ain't safe bathroom, It don't matter, elevator.
- 49:59Speaker 6: You got my personality. Sorry, I like to prank people.
- 50:02Speaker 6: I love pranky canvas too.
- 50:03Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, we know.
- 50:05Speaker 6: All right, So can I go in on you guys?
- 50:06Speaker 4: Now?
- 50:07Speaker 3: Sure?
- 50:07Speaker 5: I guess. Oh this just accidentally came up and he
- 50:13Speaker 5: has a whole list Yeah, in alphabetical orders.
- 50:16Speaker 4: Wow, canis no. The only complaining I have about Cannis
- 50:20Speaker 4: is the stinky food she brings in.
- 50:23Speaker 5: Well, I meal prep today and I warned you guys,
- 50:25Speaker 5: and I said I brought eggs today. I'm gonna try
- 50:27Speaker 5: to make it quick. Yeah, so I put the lid
- 50:29Speaker 5: off and on. Do you don't even notice that I
- 50:31Speaker 5: was over here?
- 50:32Speaker 11: I did.
- 50:34Speaker 5: As quick as I could.
- 50:35Speaker 6: Cannis, the lid cannot.
- 50:36Speaker 5: Contain, but it's better than leaving it open.
- 50:39Speaker 4: And this is the is the girl at work who
- 50:41Speaker 4: heats up fish in the breaker. Yep, and we love her.
- 50:47Speaker 4: But that's a problem, you know. So that's my one complain,
- 50:50Speaker 4: my complaint against Pooh.
- 50:52Speaker 6: There's what do I do? You don't stop eating?
- 50:56Speaker 4: So the sounds are NonStop from that area in the studio,
- 50:59Speaker 4: just a lot of munch.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Trying to back up, y'all. Don't hear me, please, he
- 51:04Speaker 6: eats fast and listen's to the toll way. You're not
- 51:06Speaker 6: backing up? What about cannas? Cannais? You want to say
- 51:11Speaker 6: something about poo?
- 51:11Speaker 5: I had to do with food too, But it's just
- 51:13Speaker 5: that you're a bad influence because the snacks you bring
- 51:15Speaker 5: are not the healthiest. I'm over here trying to eat
- 51:18Speaker 5: oatmeal while you have sour patch kids in a granola bar.
- 51:21Speaker 6: Yeah that's true, okay, can what about Pooh going on canvas?
- 51:24Speaker 6: Why don't you go. I mean, I don't have no complaints.
- 51:26Speaker 6: Oh see, thanks?
- 51:28Speaker 4: Oh my, you.
- 51:30Speaker 6: Stick for each other. Why why would I ask? Do
- 51:34Speaker 6: you want to gotcha? You're nasty?
- 51:40Speaker 7: Tough stories on the tents with Billy they get in the.
- 51:42Speaker 3: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.
- 51:45Speaker 6: Why can't slow pez?
- 51:46Speaker 5: What's going on about the city of Austin is grieving
- 51:48Speaker 5: the loss of two people who were killed and fourteen
- 51:51Speaker 5: others that were wounded after a gunman opened fire in
- 51:53Speaker 5: Austin Sixth Street early Sunday morning. Police arrived within fifty
- 51:58Speaker 5: seven seconds of that first emergecy call and we're able
- 52:01Speaker 5: to take the suspect out at the scene. The Texas
- 52:04Speaker 5: National Guard has been deployed. A motive is currently unknown,
- 52:08Speaker 5: but I know they have increased patrols in the area
- 52:11Speaker 5: and of course across the University of Texas campus, which was,
- 52:14Speaker 5: you know, not far from this where this happened Sunday morning.
- 52:17Speaker 5: So I just wanted to update you on that tough
- 52:19Speaker 5: weekend for everyone in Austin.
- 52:21Speaker 6: We're thinking about them. I love that city, so many
- 52:23Speaker 6: good people.
- 52:23Speaker 4: And if it becomes that it was terrorism, and I
- 52:26Speaker 4: know they suspect that it's just like it's scary because what.
- 52:28Speaker 7: Do you do?
- 52:29Speaker 6: Yeah, what do you do?
- 52:30Speaker 4: You just have to be vigilant and make sure that
- 52:32Speaker 4: you know you're aware of your surroundings and do everything
- 52:34Speaker 4: we can.
- 52:34Speaker 6: But it's sad, Yeah, it is.
- 52:36Speaker 1: Guys.
- 52:36Speaker 5: Let's get an update on the weather this week because
- 52:38Speaker 5: we have some changes coming, warm and cloudy starts of
- 52:41Speaker 5: the week before rain moves in by Wednesday. We do
- 52:43Speaker 5: have pretty solid chances for severe thunderstorms for the second
- 52:47Speaker 5: half of the week. It is sixty four degrees right now.
- 52:50Speaker 5: And this new report says the biggest motivator for fast
- 52:53Speaker 5: and casual dining is basically just people are exhausted, and
- 52:57Speaker 5: I could not agree with this more. Their data says
- 53:00Speaker 5: that fort of trips to these restaurants happened because of
- 53:04Speaker 5: simple fatigue. So they say, you know, fast food isn't
- 53:08Speaker 5: chosen for adventure, it's chosen for relief. People are just
- 53:11Speaker 5: too tired to cook at home and struggle with figuring
- 53:13Speaker 5: out what to make for dinner.
- 53:15Speaker 4: You're saying fast food is hashtag duh fast food hashtag duh.
- 53:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 53:20Speaker 6: Fast casual is fast.
- 53:22Speaker 5: Food fast food or fast casual like you know, the
- 53:25Speaker 5: faster restaurants where you know you can get in or
- 53:27Speaker 5: you're gonna go somewhere and do takeout orders just the
- 53:31Speaker 5: same time, like.
- 53:31Speaker 6: At Chipole or something like that.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Yeah, Chipotle.
- 53:34Speaker 4: Is it just me?
- 53:34Speaker 6: Or is it becoming easier and cheaper?
- 53:36Speaker 4: I mean it's always been easier to eat out, but
- 53:39Speaker 4: it's almost becoming cheaper, you think, so, I mean it's
- 53:42Speaker 4: getting close because everything's so expensive. It's almost like well,
- 53:45Speaker 4: I mean, like you know, a big hack to me
- 53:48Speaker 4: is I'll go up and I'll get the party like
- 53:50Speaker 4: pack at Chipotle or whatever, like the almost the a
- 53:53Speaker 4: big meal, family meal.
- 53:55Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's my meal prep for the week.
- 53:57Speaker 5: Yeah, I've seen that hack online before that for like
- 54:00Speaker 5: meal preppers. You know, you just have your protein or
- 54:02Speaker 5: rice or veggies boom.
- 54:03Speaker 4: And if I would have bought chicken and all that
- 54:05Speaker 4: stuff at home, it would have probably been close to
- 54:07Speaker 4: the same price.
- 54:08Speaker 6: Yeah, so it's like, well, why not just have it
- 54:09Speaker 6: prepared and ready?
- 54:10Speaker 7: Yeah? For sure.
- 54:11Speaker 5: People's top choices for when they're tired and don't want
- 54:14Speaker 5: to cook. We're five guys and raising canes, and then
- 54:17Speaker 5: for picking up dinner on the way home. People were
- 54:19Speaker 5: most likely to also grab raising Canes or the top
- 54:22Speaker 5: choice for affordability but also a full filling meal would
- 54:26Speaker 5: be Panda Express, which we're hitting that a lot lately.
- 54:30Speaker 5: Yeah it is good, yum, yeah, yeah guys. Harry Styles
- 54:39Speaker 5: drops his new album on Friday. He performed at the
- 54:41Speaker 5: Brits over the weekend, where fans noticed a bunch of
- 54:44Speaker 5: promo ads for the album that also have the Netflix
- 54:47Speaker 5: logo on them. So, while nothing has been confirmed, people
- 54:50Speaker 5: think he could be teasing an album album documentary for Netflix.
- 54:55Speaker 5: I hope that comes true. Speaking of new albums, actually
- 54:57Speaker 5: listened to Bruno Mar's new album road Trip over the weekend.
- 55:01Speaker 5: I listened to that love this album. Every song on
- 55:04Speaker 5: that album is so so good.
- 55:05Speaker 4: He is one of the most talented people. Yeah, it
- 55:08Speaker 4: is good, but you got to be careful because that
- 55:10Speaker 4: is almost so romantic. It might get you depressed if
- 55:13Speaker 4: you're single. Ah, just saying, just throwing that, not that
- 55:15Speaker 4: that I cried, Not that I listened to it and
- 55:17Speaker 4: cried this weekend. Okay, I didn't do that.
- 55:19Speaker 5: You could No, No, I did not come on, No,
- 55:22Speaker 5: you wouldn't do that. All right, those are your Texas
- 55:26Speaker 5: top stories.
- 55:27Speaker 3: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 55:30Speaker 7: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 55:32Speaker 4: I mixed one of two point nine and Billy a Kid.
- 55:34Speaker 4: Happy Monday, Candice Lopez, she's here, Producer, who is here?
- 55:37Speaker 4: It's a very Monday Monday. Outside it's just very blonde
- 55:40Speaker 4: and the struggle is real.
- 55:42Speaker 6: And everyone I talked to they're like, I don't know
- 55:43Speaker 6: what's going on with my son? Is I feel like.
- 55:45Speaker 5: Everybody's sick and yeah allergies.
- 55:48Speaker 6: Yes, something is going on. Either way, Hopefully you were
- 55:50Speaker 6: doing well.
- 55:50Speaker 4: If you get a secret, you'd let us know, confess
- 55:52Speaker 4: anytime you want at eight three three seven eight seven
- 55:54Speaker 4: one o two nine eight three three seven eight seven
- 55:57Speaker 4: one o two nine.
- 55:58Speaker 6: And you have a secret, bring it. What's okay?
- 56:01Speaker 9: So I'm about to sound completely insane. I'm gonna put
- 56:05Speaker 9: it out there.
- 56:05Speaker 6: Good insane.
- 56:07Speaker 10: But but my bestie is my bestie, and I'm always
- 56:10Speaker 10: gonna like do what's best for my bestie.
- 56:12Speaker 7: Right.
- 56:13Speaker 10: So she got passed up for a promotion at work,
- 56:16Speaker 10: and this girl slays every day. She outperforms everybody, including
- 56:21Speaker 10: this one random guy in her department, and somehow she
- 56:25Speaker 10: got passed up for a promotion and he got.
- 56:27Speaker 5: The perform.
- 56:29Speaker 4: I don't like that.
- 56:30Speaker 10: I know, like we already had our place picked out
- 56:33Speaker 10: for like a celebratory brunch and everything.
- 56:35Speaker 9: So it was like a big disappointment, even to me.
- 56:38Speaker 9: I'm like her best cheerleader, right. Well, her boss tried.
- 56:41Speaker 10: To like smooth it over and say, you know what,
- 56:45Speaker 10: he's not even getting a raise. We just need him
- 56:48Speaker 10: to feel like he's moving up since he's been here
- 56:50Speaker 10: longer than you.
- 56:51Speaker 6: Jeez god, boss said that, Wow, yeah, my friend.
- 56:57Speaker 4: So basically he's getting the promotion's been there longer and
- 57:00Speaker 4: that's the only reason we need to make him feel
- 57:03Speaker 4: like he's moving up.
- 57:05Speaker 10: And like, here's the thing, he has not even been
- 57:08Speaker 10: there that much longer than my friend. And it all
- 57:11Speaker 10: just seems kind of sketchy that he made it a
- 57:12Speaker 10: point to say, like, oh, he's not getting more money,
- 57:15Speaker 10: it's just like a title.
- 57:16Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 57:17Speaker 10: So I did what any rational best friend would do,
- 57:22Speaker 10: and I went on a date with this guy.
- 57:26Speaker 6: What not with the guy that the boss, No, not
- 57:29Speaker 6: the boss, the guy who got to raise or promotion.
- 57:32Speaker 10: Obviously, yes, not because I like him, not because I
- 57:35Speaker 10: want to be with him, but because I wanted to
- 57:37Speaker 10: find out how much is this guy making.
- 57:44Speaker 6: Extra extra.
- 57:47Speaker 4: You actually went out on a date with this guy
- 57:50Speaker 4: to be nosy in a snoop even though you are
- 57:53Speaker 4: not interested whatsoever?
- 57:54Speaker 10: Good for you?
- 57:55Speaker 2: Good for you?
- 57:57Speaker 4: Yes?
- 57:57Speaker 6: I did.
- 57:58Speaker 5: I can't see if this boss is long or what?
- 58:00Speaker 7: What?
- 58:01Speaker 5: What's really going on?
- 58:02Speaker 6: The can is over here? Okay, I'm just watching. Sure,
- 58:07Speaker 6: So what happened?
- 58:08Speaker 9: Well?
- 58:09Speaker 10: I was ready, you know, I've taken some acting classes,
- 58:12Speaker 10: so I was ready to just order an appetizer and
- 58:15Speaker 10: like slide in, you know, something really funny, like so, so,
- 58:18Speaker 10: what's the new.
- 58:19Speaker 9: Satary looking like? Or you know whatever.
- 58:21Speaker 10: Yeah, this man, this man would not crack. So I
- 58:25Speaker 10: tried everything.
- 58:26Speaker 9: I tried, you know, making jokes like, oh, hey.
- 58:29Speaker 10: You know, are we celebrating a big pay bump? And
- 58:32Speaker 10: you know, how's the new role going? And things like that,
- 58:35Speaker 10: are we celebrating.
- 58:36Speaker 9: A raise tonight? I like did a toast and he
- 58:40Speaker 9: just kept saying like really vague stuff.
- 58:42Speaker 6: This is hysterical. So you do all this to find
- 58:45Speaker 6: Please tell me you found out? Did he get a raise?
- 58:49Speaker 9: Did not find out? Nothing?
- 58:51Speaker 10: Oh my, but here's the worst part. Now I have
- 58:56Speaker 10: a stage five clinger.
- 58:58Speaker 9: Oh it's worse.
- 59:00Speaker 3: The man is in love with me.
- 59:03Speaker 5: Do not leave me alone.
- 59:04Speaker 9: But the problem is, y'all, I have a boyfriend.
- 59:09Speaker 6: You have a boyfriend, and you went out with this

- 59:26Speaker 9: That kind of clinger?
- 59:27Speaker 6: Did you? You didn't tell your boyfriend that you did this?
- 59:30Speaker 9: No, because I don't think. I mean, hello, you're already
- 59:32Speaker 9: like you had a boyfriend, and I don't think he
- 59:34Speaker 9: would understand.
- 59:35Speaker 6: No, I don't think he would either.
- 59:36Speaker 4: But problem some people have crazy relationships where they tell
- 59:39Speaker 4: them I'm gonna go on a date with this guy.
- 59:40Speaker 6: And to be like okay, whatever. Yeah, some people are crazy.
- 59:43Speaker 6: I wouldn't be like okay with it at all.
- 59:46Speaker 10: So I told you, Wow, I think I sounded crazy.
- 59:49Speaker 10: I went on a freaking date with a guy with
- 59:51Speaker 10: a boyfriend just to do.
- 59:52Speaker 9: A personal follary investigation.
- 59:54Speaker 10: We're besty and now clinger, I'm freaked out that my
- 59:58Speaker 10: boyfriend will flip out if he he finds out.
- 1:00:00Speaker 9: And I didn't even get the tea.
- 1:00:02Speaker 10: And now I've just created this disaster and the moral
- 1:00:06Speaker 10: of the story, you guys is just be careful how
- 1:00:08Speaker 10: far you go for your ride or.
- 1:00:10Speaker 9: Die bestie, because sometimes you just take a ride into chaos.

- 1:00:15Speaker 6: I gotta say, though, people need you are a ride
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: or die friend for real. I mean, look at you.

- 1:01:05Speaker 4: before on Dirty Little Secret. It has to do with
