- 0:00Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the
- 0:02Epstein Chronicles. On Friday, May twenty ninth, Pam Bondy made
- 0:07an appearance before Congress, and the point of the hearing
- 0:10obviously was to answer for the way the DOJ has
- 0:14handled the Epstein situation, and according to reports, Pam Bondy
- 0:19refused to answer questions about what role the Trump administration
- 0:22played when it comes to giving directives and being in
- 0:26charge of this obvious cover up. Now, what I will say,
- 0:29like usual, is that until we see the transcripts for ourselves,
- 0:33I'm not going to throw Pam Bondy directly under the bus.
- 0:36And look, I have no doubts that she was not helpful,
- 0:39but I just want to see the transcripts for myself
- 0:42because I don't trust anybody involved. Both sides have turned
- 0:46this into an absolute circus, and because of that, we're
- 0:49never going to get any real answers. We're never going
- 0:51to get any real justice because now there's a big
- 0:56portion of the country that believes this is a hoax.
- 0:59And when you have people out here running around making
- 1:01all kinds of allegations that there's no evidence backing up,
- 1:04you're giving these people a built in excuse. You're giving
- 1:07these people built in armor. And that's why I've always
- 1:10said that we don't have to chase all the salacious stories.
- 1:14And the vast majority of these silatious stories that have
- 1:16come out recently, in my opinion, are not true. And
- 1:21the amount of people turning this into a circus is unbelievable,
- 1:24and honestly, it's disheartening. And it's my guess that some
- 1:28of these people that are out here talking this nonsense
- 1:31are part of the opposition, are part of the syop
- 1:34And unfortunately a lot of people don't care about the
- 1:36truth here. They just want whatever political ammunition they can
- 1:40find to go after their enemies. And it's both sides
- 1:43doing it. And that's why I never believe what they
- 1:45tell us on the back end of one of these hearings. Right,
- 1:49we got to see it for ourselves. I don't trust
- 1:51anybody involved, so I'm going to need to see that
- 1:53work all Right. Today we have an article from Politico
- 1:57and the headline Bondie Ship's responsibility for Epstein fi release
- 2:00to Todd Blanche, making him democrats next target. Well, isn't
- 2:05that nice supper? Good old Todd? Baby Billy Blanche was
- 2:08in charge, not me. I was just the boss. I
- 2:11delegated that. Next time you're the project lead at work
- 2:14and something goes wrong, just tell your boss that you
- 2:18delegated it. I'm sure that'll be fine. This article was
- 2:22authored by Haley Fuchs. In closed door remarks Friday to
- 2:26members of Congress, former Attorney General Pam Bondi punted a
- 2:29responsibility for the administration's handling of the release of the
- 2:33Epstein files to Acting Attorney General Todd baby Billy Blanche.
- 2:39So is that going to be the scapegoat? Is it
- 2:42gonna be Todd baby Billy Blanche who ends up holding
- 2:44that hot potato? When all said and done, somebody's gonna
- 2:47have to take the fall. They're gonna need a fall guy,
- 2:50and it's not Bondi. Bondi's out of dodge. She's already
- 2:53moving on to the next grift. So it's gonna be
- 2:56Todd baby Billy Blanche. Huh, Well, okay, but somebody going
- 3:00to have to answer for this at some point. Now.
- 3:03Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee say
- 3:06they want to hear from Blanche, and they're prepared to
- 3:09force a vote to subpoena him if necessary, Well, good luck.
- 3:13I doubt the Republicans are going to want anything to
- 3:15do with that. It's just a big ass hoax after all, right,
- 3:18And with Massy losing in Kentucky, they're feeling themselves. They
- 3:23think that the Epstein issue is over and done with now,
- 3:26they think that they have some tenable ground to stand upon,
- 3:29And the truth is they're not wrong. And due to
- 3:32people over politicizing this who have no idea what they're
- 3:35talking about, it's caused a lot of people to retreat
- 3:39to their bunkers. And I'm telling you right now, this
- 3:41has to be a group effort. It's not just the
- 3:43Republicans or the Democrats or the independents that can make
- 3:47something happen here. We have to work together, and that's
- 3:50just not in the cards. Everybody is way too busy
- 3:52scrambling and fighting with each other instead of focusing on
- 3:55the people that we should be focusing on, the people
- 3:57that really ruin our lives, the people that were palin
- 4:00around with Epstein, and the people that are telling you
- 4:03that this is a hoax. But sure, just keep fighting
- 4:05with each other, because that's a great idea. The request
- 4:10is going in today to Chairman James Comer to have
- 4:13Todd Blanche come in. Representative Robert Garcia of California, the
- 4:17top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, to all reporters. If
- 4:20he doesn't do it, we're going to force a subpoena
- 4:22and try to get votes. But he's got to come in. Look,
- 4:26I don't know if he's gonna be able to do that,
- 4:28if they're going to be able to force it, if
- 4:30Trump will allow it, and if Billy Blanche will comply,
- 4:35I mean, why would he? The problem is there's no teeth,
- 4:39so Congress can demand whatever they want. But the truth is,
- 4:43how do they enforce it? How do they force people
- 4:46to do what they have to do? Well, they can't
- 4:49because there's no real oversight in this country anymore. And
- 4:52any time a judge steps in to make a decision
- 4:55or a ruling, it gets blasted as being politically driven,
- 4:59and on and on it goes. And you know who
- 5:01benefits from that. The people that were with Epstein, the
- 5:04people that supported them, and the people who were covering
- 5:07it up. Garcia added that Cash Battel, the FBI director,
- 5:12is number two on the list. Crash out Patel huh
- 5:16maybe he'll think that Congress is Valhalla. Bondi was on
- 5:20Capitol Hill for a transcribed interview with the Oversight Panel
- 5:23Friday as part of its ongoing investigation into the federal
- 5:27government's handling of the Epstein Files. Bondy, who President Donald
- 5:32Trump fired in April, has faced a torrent of criticism
- 5:35over botched redactions in the millions of pages that were
- 5:38made public during her tenure when Blanche was then serving
- 5:42as her deputy. They were both in on it. You're
- 5:45gonna blame Blanche. Let's stop the nonsense. Okay. This was
- 5:49all directed by Donald Trump, not Todd Blanche, not Pam Bondy.
- 5:54They were doing as they were told. Imagine trying to
- 5:56act like that wasn't the case, Like Pambondi and Todd
- 5:59Blanche were making the decisions. Yeah, because that's exactly the
- 6:03kind of guy that Donald Trump is. Let me have
- 6:05my subordinates make these big decisions for me, sure, okay.
- 6:10In our prepared opening statement obtained by Politico, Bondi defended
- 6:14her agency's efforts to follow the Epstein Files Transparency Act
- 6:18legislation passed by Congress in November that compel the government
- 6:22to release documents and material in the federal government's possession
- 6:26related to the Epstein case, which they didn't do. They're
- 6:31still not compliant with the law, and there's no repercussions.
- 6:34Nobody's in trouble. Nobody is, you know, getting called before
- 6:37Congress facing serious jeopardy for ignoring the law. That's only
- 6:42for you, that's not for them. There were redaction Errs
- 6:47Bondie acknowledged, according to a prepared opening statement. But since
- 6:51day one of this process, this department has been committed
- 6:54to accountability and transparency. No it hasn't. That's a lie.
- 7:00Transparency means transparency. Now you guys choosing and gatekeeping what
- 7:04we get to see, She continued. Our stance has always
- 7:09been that the Department stands ready to review any potential
- 7:12evidence of criminal activity related to Ebstein and disassociates, and
- 7:16will pursue appropriate investigative or a prosecutorial action wherever the
- 7:21facts in law warrant, unless it has to do with money,
- 7:24unless it has to do with immigration fraud, unless it
- 7:27has to do with human trafficking. This is more than
- 7:31just girls getting abused, and I think people seem to
- 7:34miss that, or they're doing it purposely. Because that's much
- 7:38harder to approve. Right, we have people who are dead,
- 7:42people forget things, people don't want to come forward. I
- 7:45get it. Now, does that discount it? Of course not.
- 7:50It's the most vile part of the whole story. But
- 7:52if we want to get these people, as I've told
- 7:54you many times, focus on the money, focus on the
- 7:58paper trail, focus on the immigration fraud, and focus on
- 8:01the cover up. But that's not good enough, is it?
- 8:03Not salacious enough, not shiny enough, not a big enough
- 8:07political hammer. But she also noted, as the head of
- 8:13a large department with broader responsibilities, I did not lead
- 8:16every aspect of the effort or conduct that document review myself.
- 8:19I delegated oversight of the process to Deputy Attorney General
- 8:23Todd Blanche And look, that's how it works in a
- 8:25big department, no doubt about it. But when you delegate something,
- 8:29you're still responsible for the final outcome. And anyone who's
- 8:34a manager or has been a manager and has had,
- 8:37you know, team projects that had to get done. You
- 8:40delegate something to a supervisor or whatever, and they're in
- 8:44charge of that portion of the project. But at the
- 8:46end of the day, the buck stops with you right,
- 8:48you're the boss, you're the project manager. But I guess
- 8:51that only matters in the private sector. When you work
- 8:54in government. Well, you can just blame whoever you want.
- 8:58It would be an embarrassing and political glee fraud exercise
- 9:01for either Blanche or Ptel to be forced to testify
- 9:03as part of the Oversight Panel's ongoing investigation into the
- 9:07late convicted sex offender. Blanche, Bondie's former deputy, has not
- 9:12yet been nominated to serve in the attorney general role permanently,
- 9:16given him career uncertainty. Patel, meanwhile, is already under some
- 9:20public pressure to resign or be terminated for erratic behavior
- 9:24an alleged misuse of taxpayer dollars. Well, how about the
- 9:28fact that he already lied about the Epstein situation. Should
- 9:32we just forget about that there was nobody else involved,
- 9:35We have no more evidence. Oh okay, cool, I guess
- 9:38what we've seen in those emails and with those documents
- 9:41is just a figment of all of our imagination, just
- 9:44a nationwide hallucinogenic episode. A DOJ spokesperson referred comment to
- 9:52a post on x from Bondie on Friday afternoon in
- 9:55which she said, she praised Acting ag Blanche's management of
- 10:00this herculean task. The FBI did not immediately respond to
- 10:04request for comment. Of course not they're not going to respond.
- 10:07Why would they, And if they do, like usual, it'll
- 10:10be canned. That's how it always works, isn't it. A
- 10:14spokesperson for Comer also did not immediately provide information about
- 10:18whether he would call him Blanche or Patel or risk
- 10:21enough Republicans joining Democrats to hijack a committee meeting to
- 10:25compel a vote on a motion to subpoena either which
- 10:29Republicans exactly? I mean, let's be real, the vast majority
- 10:34of Republicans have retreated from this, especially after the message
- 10:38has been sent with Thomas Massey, Marjorie Taylor Green, Nancy Mace,
- 10:44and Lauren Bobert. The message is loud and clear. Epstein
- 10:48is off limits. Do not, for one single second think
- 10:53about doing anything Epstein related if you're in the GOP,
- 10:56unless you want Donald Trump to turn on you and
- 10:59unleash the hound. Bondi yourself has been under scrutiny since
- 11:04early last year, when she said in a Fox News
- 11:07interview that she had the soul called Epstein client list
- 11:10on her desk. The FBI and DJ later released a
- 11:13memo saying it did not have such a list, nor
- 11:16did it intend to release further information in the Epstein case.
- 11:20So why would they do that? Right after saying they
- 11:22were going to release everything, they just stop in their
- 11:25tracks and they're like, hold up, we're not releasing anything
- 11:30that doesn't come off as suspicious to you. That doesn't
- 11:35leave you wondering what they were so scared of and
- 11:38spook by. After they were so serious and so sure
- 11:41that they were going to release the files throughout the
- 11:43whole campaign, they get a look at them and all
- 11:46of a sudden that changes. Yeah, tell me it's not
- 11:49a cover up. The events sparked outrage among Democrats and
- 11:53Republicans alike, leading up to passage in November of the
- 11:56Epstein Files Transparency Act, but bipartisan criticism was reignited once
- 12:01again as the files were rolled out in a haphazard
- 12:05and incomplete fashion, where information about Epstein's victims were inadvertently
- 12:10revealed while details about potential perpetrators were kept hidden. Inadvertently. Huh,
- 12:15I have another problem with that. I don't believe that
- 12:17it was inadvertent. I think it was on purpose, and
- 12:21it was just another way to intimidate people, because that's
- 12:24what this is all about now, intimidation. Trump has removed
- 12:28the carrot and he's using the stick. In March, the
- 12:34Oversight Committee voted to subpoena Bondi for her testimony, in
- 12:37a surprise move initiated by Representative Nancy Mace and backed
- 12:42by four other House Republicans. It was a stunning rebuke
- 12:46of the administration's handling of the Epstein matter. Rarely, if ever,
- 12:51does the party in the majority subpoena a sitting cabinet
- 12:54member of their own party. And that's definitely true. The
- 12:58last thing you want to do is open the door.
- 13:01But Bondi was ousted about a month later. In Comer,
- 13:04a Kentucky Republican downgraded the terms of her appearance to
- 13:07a transcribed interview rather than a formal deposition, meaning that
- 13:11she would not have to answer questions under oath and
- 13:13the proceeding will not be video recorded. Waste the time.
- 13:17Look we're doing something here, guys. Look I want everyone
- 13:20to think that we're going to talk to Bondie. What
- 13:22an absolute joke. And if anyone should be primaried, it
- 13:26should be James Comer, all these Republicans that carried water
- 13:30for Trump, do they understand that Trump is not forever
- 13:35and that once Trump is gone from the White House,
- 13:37it's going to be a whole different ballgame, especially when
- 13:40people aren't intimidated by Trump anymore, because that's the big problem.
- 13:44People are scared, and when you're scared, you're not going
- 13:47to say shit. One of the victims, Charlene Rochard, confronted
- 13:52Comer Friday morning as he addressed reporters before joining for
- 13:55the start of Bondie's interview, asking him to promise that
- 13:58individuals brought in as part of the congressional Epstein investigation
- 14:02testify under oath. If you lie to Congress, it's a felony.
- 14:06Comer said, in defense of his own panels process. We're
- 14:10bringing in people that have never been brought in before.
- 14:13And here's my prediction. When all said and done, they're
- 14:15going to point the systemic failures. They're going to say
- 14:18that Epstein died by suicide and everything was just the
- 14:21perfect storm coming together at the right time, and there's
- 14:26nobody to hold accountable. It just you know what happened.
- 14:29That's my prediction, and that's what Comer is going to do?
- 14:33Liz Stein, another victim, asked Comer to commit to getting
- 14:36answers from former Attorney General about the redaction process, specifically
- 14:40why details about victims were exposed while information about potential
- 14:44perpetrators was withheld. Those are questions we're going to ask,
- 14:49and we're doing this. We want justice for the survivors,
- 14:52Comer said, adding that if Epstein victims were not satisfied
- 14:56by Bondie's responses, the committee would work to get them answers.
- 15:00Oh yeah, sure, did you ask Donald Trump first? You
- 15:03might want to run it by him. James Comer Garcia
- 15:06told reporters he and his colleagues were incredibly disappointed by
- 15:09the majority's decision not to force Bondi to testify under
- 15:13the parameters of a subpoena. Bondy was joined by Justice
- 15:17Department staff during the transcribed interview, and Democrats accused do
- 15:20Ojay of playing interference. Representative Melanie Stansbury said that when
- 15:26Bondie was asked about a conversation she might have had
- 15:29with Trump, one of her lawyers interjected to say that
- 15:32Bondi was not required to answer because the event was
- 15:35a voluntary interview. Oh, well, isn't that cute? But sure
- 15:39it wasn't voluntary for any reason whatsoever. Yo, James Comer
- 15:43thinks you're stupid as hell. The United States Department of
- 15:46Justice is intervening on behalf of Pam Bondi to stop
- 15:49her from answering questions about what happened in the cover
- 15:52up of this case and her conversations with Donald Trump,
- 15:55and his asserting that she does not have to answer
- 15:58questions because she's not required too because she's not being
- 16:01deposed under oath Stansbury Toll reporters. The DOJ has been
- 16:06accused of withholding portions of the Epstein files linking Trump
- 16:10and Epstein, though Trump is maintained that he broke off
- 16:13his relationship with Epstein years ago. The President has denied
- 16:17any wrongdoing and has not been charged with any crimes
- 16:20in relation to the late disgraced financier. All right, so,
- 16:25like usual, we're gonna have to wait and see for
- 16:27the transcripts right to get a full accounting of what
- 16:30went down. But I have no doubt that Pam Bondi
- 16:34didn't answer any questions and that she was evasive, because
- 16:37that's just the way it goes. It doesn't matter if
- 16:39it's Pam Bondi or anyone else. So when those transcripts
- 16:43do come out, we'll get right on them and we'll
- 16:45make sure we get them added to the catalog. But
- 16:48until then, that's going to do it for this one.
- 16:50All the information that goes with this episode can be
