  Speaker 1: Although everyone is called of God. It is a responsibility

  Speaker 1: to work in partnership with the truth of God's word

  Speaker 1: to validate that call. Second Peter, Chapter one, where we

  Speaker 1: have it projected, let me just second Peter. Okay, it says,

  Speaker 1: wherefore the rather brethren give diligence to make your calling

  Speaker 1: and your election show. For if ye do these things,

  Speaker 1: ye shall never fall. Wherefore, the rather brethren give diligence

  Speaker 2: It is true that you are called, but it is.

  Speaker 1: for a life of grace of dignity.

  Speaker 2: But like any other thing, it takes knowledge.

  Speaker 1: This kingdom is a kingdom that functions by light. Please

  Speaker 1: say light. The principal requirement for excelling in this kingdom

  Speaker 1: is light Psalms eighty two from verse five, they know not,

  Speaker 1: neither will they understand. They work on in darkness, and

  Speaker 2: Are we learning now? So I'll be sharing with us.

  Speaker 1: and the context, but then God will grant us grace

  Speaker 1: briefly on fruitfulness in ministry. We want to produce results.

  Speaker 1: We want to see God help us excel. So fruitfulness
• 5:58
  Speaker 1: in ministry and I'll be looking at it in three parts.

  Speaker 1: Number one is we will be redefining concepts because most
• 6:06
  Speaker 1: people are in error in ministry today because of their
• 6:09
  Speaker 1: definition of certain concepts. And then number two will be
• 6:14
  Speaker 1: looking at the heart of a minister. What is the
• 6:16
  Speaker 1: requirement to excel as a minister? And then number three
• 6:21
  Speaker 1: will be looking at the keys to fruitfulness in ministry.
• 6:27
  Speaker 1: If we still have a bit of time, we may
• 6:29
  Speaker 1: touch a bit on church growth. The Lord will grant
• 6:32
  Speaker 1: us grace in Jesus' name. But let me just charge
• 6:35
  Speaker 1: our hearts and encourage us in education and mentorship. There
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: is what we call the teachability index. Please listen carefully.
• 6:48
  Speaker 1: Your teachability index is a measure of number one, your
• 6:53
  Speaker 1: ability and your willingness to lend, and number two your ability.
• 6:59
  Speaker 2: And your will to change.
• 7:01
  Speaker 1: These two factors culminate into your teachability index. It is
• 7:07
  Speaker 1: a complete waste of time to attempt to bring truth
• 7:11
  Speaker 1: to an individual who has a low teachability index. You
• 7:15
  Speaker 1: must have a high fortitude to learn and a high
• 7:21
  Speaker 1: fortitude to allow what you know to transform you. If
• 7:25
  Speaker 1: you have an openness to learn and you have a low.
• 7:33
  Speaker 2: Rate of change, it will.
• 7:35
  Speaker 1: Produce pride because you will know so much and you
• 7:39
  Speaker 1: will not have the results to defend what you know.
• 7:42
  Speaker 1: So you must have the ability, a high ability to learn,
• 7:50
  Speaker 1: and then to use that knowledge for transformation. It said,

  Speaker 1: now that you know these things, happier you if you
• 7:57
  Speaker 1: do them. It is it's not just in the knowing.

  Speaker 1: Allelujah Daniel, Chapter eleven and verse thirty two. The bi

  Speaker 1: part gives us the protocol for results. It says, but

  Speaker 1: the people that do know, they shall be, Then they

  Speaker 1: shall do the people that do know. It starts with knowledge,

  Speaker 1: then transformation, then execution again. The people that do know knowledge,
• 8:33
  Speaker 1: they shall become transformation, evolution into higher versions of yourself,

  Speaker 1: and then you can now do. Most people just want
• 8:44
  Speaker 1: to know to do you know you are changed by
• 8:48
  Speaker 1: what you know, then you can now do. Allelujah, are

  Speaker 1: we learning now? Two scriptures very quickly Collosians four and

  Speaker 1: verse seventeen. This was Apostle Paul speaking to the church

  Speaker 1: in colosse and he was encouraging Occupos, his son in
• 9:09
  Speaker 1: the gospel.

  Speaker 2: He said, say, onto Occupus.

  Speaker 1: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in
• 9:18
  Speaker 1: the Lord, that thou fulfill it. Very instructive statement. Take
• 9:24
  Speaker 1: heed means be discerning. Take heed means don't be careless.
• 9:28
  Speaker 1: Take heed means place value on it. To the ministry.
• 9:33
  Speaker 1: Number two, he says, you did not receive it from
• 9:35
  Speaker 1: a man.

  Speaker 2: You may have been given.
• 9:38
  Speaker 1: An earthly appointment or maybe a branch to pass or
• 9:41
  Speaker 1: whatever it is, but it says this ministry you received.

  Speaker 1: He never said you received from the Lord. He said
• 9:47
  Speaker 1: you received in the Lord, meaning it would have been
• 9:50
  Speaker 1: a derivative of your relationship with God. It was whilst
• 9:54
  Speaker 1: you were loving and serving and living and pressing into
• 9:58
  Speaker 1: God that that ministry came.

  Speaker 2: He says that down fulfill it.

  Speaker 1: Allelujah, prays the name of the Lord. So I want

  Speaker 1: to define a few terminologists, three or four of them,

  Speaker 1: and I have watched people misuse these terminologist even to

  Speaker 2: Number one.

  Speaker 1: Is the gospel. What exactly is the gospel? What discussing ministry?

  Speaker 1: But we have to look at the gospel. I'm just

  Speaker 1: giving definitions. Romance one sixteen says, for I am not
• 10:34
  Speaker 1: ashamed of the Gospel of Christ. He calls it the
• 10:38
  Speaker 1: power of God onto salvation, and that the influence is
• 10:43
  Speaker 1: over every one that believes. To the Jews first and
• 10:47
  Speaker 1: then to the Greek I am not ashamed of the Gospel.
• 10:51
  Speaker 1: That means, if your gospel brings shame, there is something
• 10:54
  Speaker 1: you don't understand about it, because the gospel should not
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: produce shame if contains within it the power of God
• 11:02
  Speaker 1: that leads to salvation.

  Speaker 2: What exactly is the gospel?

  Speaker 1: Now? The word gospel, from its original Greek origin means
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: good news, a declaration of a news that produces glad.

  Speaker 1: Tidings away together now, and there are many dimensions to
• 11:23
  Speaker 1: the gospel. In fact, there are seven of them. But
• 11:28
  Speaker 1: for the purpose of our discussion, every time I talk
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: about it, I always emphasize the first and the seventh.
• 11:35
  Speaker 1: The first is called the Gospel of Salvation. The seventh
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: of them is called the Gospel of the Kingdom. You

  Speaker 1: cannot be effective in ministry if you do not understand
• 11:46
  Speaker 1: these two dimensions of the gospel. So the gospel merely
• 11:50
  Speaker 1: means a declaration of glad tidings. The Gospel of Salvation
• 11:55
  Speaker 1: is a revelation of the Father's love revealed in and
• 12:02
  Speaker 1: through the substitutionary sacrifice of Jesus Christ, his son, mankind
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: being the zenith the object, the principal recipient of that love.
• 12:15
  Speaker 1: But then it extends also to creation. Follow carefully that
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: the Gospel is a revelation or a communication of the
• 12:24
  Speaker 1: Father's love revealed in and through the substitutionary sacrifice of
• 12:30
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ, mankind being the principal recipient. That if and
• 12:37
  Speaker 1: when we believe in that gospel, the Bible says, whosoever
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: believes in him should not perish, but have life everlasting.

  Speaker 1: That is the gospel, the message of the gospel. But
• 12:52
  Speaker 1: there is the gospel as an ideology that transforms You
• 12:57
  Speaker 1: can have the message of the Gospel. The jurisdiction of
• 13:01
  Speaker 1: that message is personal salvation. That means another person cannot
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: be saved by your personal believing. But there is the
• 13:11
  Speaker 1: ideology of the Gospel. It is a mind control system
• 13:15
  Speaker 1: that seeks to institutionalize God consciousness within a territory away together.
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: So give all you know is the evangelical dimension of
• 13:27
  Speaker 1: the gospel. Understanding the message that saves, you can be saved.
• 13:32
  Speaker 1: Like you have heard me say, what your territory will
• 13:35
  Speaker 1: not be safe. An example was Lot in Sodom Gomorrah.
• 13:40
  Speaker 1: Lot was not a rebel. He had encountered the God
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: of Heaven, but because he was in a territory that
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: had not received the God of Heaven, he was still
• 13:50
  Speaker 1: a victim of the territory.

  Speaker 1: There is a dimension of faith that is territorial and

  Speaker 1: its land the hearth. The fullness there means the resources,

  Speaker 1: the economy, number three the mind control systems, and number

  Speaker 1: four the inhabitants. Are we together. That's just for you

  Speaker 1: to understand. So while defining terminologists, because so many people

  Speaker 1: say I am a preacher of the Gospel for the
• 15:23
  Speaker 1: fivefold ministry, or I am a man of God that
• 15:25
  Speaker 1: believes in the Gospel, and most people do not understand
• 15:29
  Speaker 1: that this gospel is dimensional. So most people mean it
• 15:33
  Speaker 1: to say I am one who has been mandated by
• 15:36
  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ to proclaim the message that saves. So the
• 15:40
  Speaker 1: business man who says I have no business understanding and
• 15:43
  Speaker 1: communicating the gospel, the politician who say I have no
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: business understanding and communicating the gospel, because all they think
• 15:50
  Speaker 1: there is to the Gospel is the message that saves.
• 15:55
  Speaker 1: Preachers are the principal communicators of the message that saves,
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: but kingdom ambassadors and witnesses are the principle communicators of
• 16:05
  Speaker 1: the ideology that transforms.
• 16:09
  Speaker 2: Are you getting it now?
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: So when we teach about the Gospel, you find out
• 16:13
  Speaker 1: that most people who are not in the fivefold ministry
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: just shut down. They say, it's not my business. When
• 16:18
  Speaker 1: you start talking about money or talking about politics. Now
• 16:21
  Speaker 1: you are speaking my language. But the Gospel is to everyone,
• 16:25
  Speaker 1: to the preachers, the message that saves.
• 16:29
  Speaker 2: To non preachers.
• 16:31
  Speaker 1: If you would want me to use that expression, the
• 16:33
  Speaker 1: ideology that transforms. Everybody must embrace the Gospel. Do we
• 16:38
  Speaker 1: have that? Claire Number two kingdom advancements. I'm just reallydefining terminologies.

  Speaker 1: What exactly is kingdom advancements? Every time we collect offerings,
• 16:51
  Speaker 1: we pray and we say, Father, let this money be
• 16:55
  Speaker 1: used for your glory. And yet that money goes into
• 16:58
  Speaker 1: a room. We never see the money evaporating to the
• 17:02
  Speaker 1: sky and enter heaven. And yet we say, Lord, let
• 17:05
  Speaker 1: this be used for the advancement of your kingdom. And
• 17:08
  Speaker 1: yet it is physical people who use the money. The
• 17:10
  Speaker 1: money is counted. What exactly does it mean? To advance
• 17:15
  Speaker 1: the kingdom. If you do not understand kingdom advancements, you
• 17:19
  Speaker 1: are not even in ministry. Allelujah. What exactly is kingdom advance?
• 17:26
  Speaker 1: Let me define it for you that kingdom advance refers to.

  Speaker 2: The deploying of.
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: Every and any scriptural means.
• 17:39
  Speaker 2: Listen carefully. Kingdom advance is the deploying of.

  Speaker 1: Every and any scriptural means that leads to the revelation

  Speaker 1: of Jesus and the enthroning of the same. Every and

  Speaker 1: any scriptural means that will lead to the enthroning of

  Speaker 1: Jesus Christ and his purposes, first across the hearts of men,

  Speaker 1: then across every strata of human activities. That is kingdom advanced.

  Speaker 1: So when you say you are advancing the kingdom to

  Speaker 1: the degree to which you deploy through your life, through

  Speaker 1: your skill, every and any strictual means that will lead

  Speaker 1: to the revelation of Jesus and will lead to the

  Speaker 1: enthroning of Him and his purposes across the hearts of
• 18:34
  Speaker 1: men and across every strata of human activities. Why am
• 18:39
  Speaker 1: I defining this because of the next definition, We're going
• 18:42
  Speaker 1: to define what ministry is. And most people who say
• 18:46
  Speaker 1: I am in ministry. Believe me, they do not know
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: what they are saying. And if this definition is wrong,
• 18:53
  Speaker 1: your entire posture to be wrong. If you're on your
• 18:56
  Speaker 1: way traveling, say to Ibadad, and then for any reason

  Speaker 1: you find yourself saying bidning or a road and you

  Speaker 1: are speading at one hundred and eighty kilometers, the speed

  Speaker 1: human activities. Now let's define ministry. Are we letting this money?

  Speaker 1: What does it mean to be in ministry? What is ministry?

  Speaker 1: For some you who say preaching for dear people, they

  Speaker 1: may say singing other people and say, whatever it is,

  Speaker 1: But what exactly is ministry? Please look up? Let me

  Speaker 1: tell you what ministry is not. Ministry is not preaching. No,

  Speaker 1: ministry has nothing to do with a pulpit. Ministry has

  Speaker 1: nothing to do with the church. Ministry has nothing to

  Speaker 1: do with membership. Ministry has nothing to do with a mic.

  Speaker 1: Ministry has nothing to do with most of the things

  Speaker 1: we call ministry. Look up, please. When the pandemic caused

  Speaker 1: churches to be shot for three months, there were people

  Speaker 1: Them because the idea of ministry is that there must

  Speaker 1: must be a mic amplifying your voice, and there must

  Speaker 1: be a structure around. Those things are not necessarily the

  Speaker 1: definition of ministry. Listen to me carefully. The essence of

  Speaker 1: ministry is not doing. It's not standing in front of

  Speaker 1: a people. No, what makes ministry ministry is not the activity.

  Speaker 1: Listen carefully. Activity does not make ministry ministry. There are

  Speaker 1: two conditions for anything to be called ministry. Number one,

  Speaker 1: it must be motivated by your love for Jesus Christ.

  Speaker 2: Revelation and the entrony of Jesus.

  Speaker 2: For anything to be called ministry.

  Speaker 1: The necessary and sufficient conditions is that, number one, it

  Speaker 1: must be motivated by a passion and a desire, a

  Speaker 1: love for Jesus Christ. And number two, the goal of

  Speaker 1: that entire activity must be to see Jesus glorified. That

  Speaker 1: means I can be a preacher, a very good preacher,

  Speaker 1: and yet not be a minister. If my motivation is
• 22:17
  Speaker 1: not my love for Jesus Christ, and if my intent
• 22:21
  Speaker 1: and goal is to not see Him lifted and glorified,
• 22:25
  Speaker 1: I am not in ministry. Even though singing. Are you

  Speaker 1: saying that by this definition? Many people are not in ministry.

  Speaker 1: Many people are singers or worshipers, many people are whatever
• 22:37
  Speaker 1: it is, but they are not ministers. So it is

  Speaker 1: not the activity that qualifies it to be called ministry.

  Speaker 1: It's not the religiosity of the setting. A full pit
