- 1:31Speaker 1: I'm just saying that sounds lovely, Kezy.

- 1:48Speaker 4: I wasn't looking at any property, okay, unfortunately, Jason, though,
- 1:52Speaker 4: you are looking really great.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Yeah, thanks man, you're looking you. Thanks mate.
- 2:01Speaker 3: What's happening on the big show with old Mogi.
- 2:04Speaker 6: Well, geez, she's a hell of a show we've got
- 2:07Speaker 6: for ourselves today, ladies and gentlemen. Jakes, you've got a
- 2:11Speaker 6: huge acting gig coming up. I do yes, And you've
- 2:14Speaker 6: been spending the entire weekend learning your lines, and you've
- 2:19Speaker 6: come to a realization that there's something wrong with your
- 2:21Speaker 6: brain now, which is devastating. We'll also be talking about
- 2:25Speaker 6: a role that Jason's got for Keysy, and we'll be
- 2:28Speaker 6: discussing whether it's okay to stand in the seated section
- 2:33Speaker 6: of a concert.
- 2:34Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
- 2:36Speaker 3: I'll just correct you there, Moy, just in the sense
- 2:38Speaker 3: I've got a role for Keysy's wife.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Right, okay, it's just that you're not her agent.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:44Speaker 1: We'll be shortly though, three four three.
- 2:48Speaker 4: By the way, standing in the seated area of a concert?
- 2:51Speaker 4: Yes or no?
- 2:53Speaker 1: That's getting up you know.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Yeah, here's the killers.
- 2:59Speaker 2: The hold ks you Big Show weekdays from four on
- 3:02Speaker 2: Radio Hdarchy.
- 3:03Speaker 3: Yes, indeed, the white stripes there on the radio Hadarky
- 3:06Speaker 3: Big Show this Monday afternoon. The time is twelve minutes
- 3:09Speaker 3: past four o'clock. But right now it's time.
- 3:11Speaker 1: For big Pole. And the question on everyone's lips is.
- 3:25Speaker 6: I can't remember it is dancing in the seated section
- 3:31Speaker 6: of a concert?
- 3:32Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 3:32Speaker 3: Okay? Dancing yeah, yeah, I just wanted to make sure
- 3:35Speaker 3: that's what it was. That's what I thought it was,
- 3:37Speaker 3: but I wasn't certain.
- 3:38Speaker 5: Yes, So my opinion on this one is the moment
- 3:41Speaker 5: you try and if you were anti dancing in a
- 3:44Speaker 5: seated area, the moment you are trying to not let
- 3:46Speaker 5: people dance at a concert doesn't matter where they standing. Yeah,
- 3:49Speaker 5: you're defeating the whole purpose of being there.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Well, that's right.
- 3:51Speaker 6: And I was massively hungover over the weekend and I
- 3:55Speaker 6: was in a pretty deep scroll hole and suddenly came
- 3:58Speaker 6: up on one of the reels there, and it was
- 4:00Speaker 6: a woman dancing at a concert over in Australia, and
- 4:03Speaker 6: people that were seated behind her, yes, throwing things at her,
- 4:07Speaker 6: like pretty fairly middle aged white people fume minute this
- 4:13Speaker 6: woman for dancing at a concert where music was being played.
- 4:17Speaker 3: Look, my personal opinion of it is it doesn't bother me,
- 4:21Speaker 3: you know what I mean. But I've reached the tragic
- 4:23Speaker 3: point in my life where I used to like a
- 4:25Speaker 3: boogie fellas, I don't mind admitting it and going to
- 4:28Speaker 3: a concert. I used to cut loose and pull some shapes,
- 4:31Speaker 3: but these days I cannot overcome the mental hurdle and
- 4:35Speaker 3: barrier of dancing just for the sake of dancing.
- 4:40Speaker 1: I used to have to have a few beersies, you know.
- 4:44Speaker 3: What I mean.
- 4:44Speaker 1: If I haven't done that.
- 4:45Speaker 3: There's just no way I'm doing it. But other people
- 4:48Speaker 3: dancing in front of me is like, okay, well it's
- 4:50Speaker 3: a concept. People want to dance and they get moved
- 4:53Speaker 3: by the music. If you're affected or offended by that,
- 4:57Speaker 3: get your ass out of there.
- 4:58Speaker 6: Yeah, with the thing about Lizzo, if you want to dance,
- 5:00Speaker 6: you should get down on the floor and do it
- 5:03Speaker 6: with the people that are standing up, because.
- 5:05Speaker 4: You know, if I'm bought though, and I've am at
- 5:08Speaker 4: the point.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Of my life, we're actually by seated because I can't
- 5:11Speaker 6: be bothered standing up for the length of time that
- 5:13Speaker 6: it goes for, then it's one hundred percent what I does.
- 5:15Speaker 6: I'd rather sit down and just enjoy the music, and
- 5:18Speaker 6: I don't need some like as you say, someone who's
- 5:22Speaker 6: got a few beers in them stand up in front
- 5:23Speaker 6: of me. Can't dance blocking my view of the content
- 5:26Speaker 6: and come here to watch you're drunk dancing?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Yes?
- 5:32Speaker 1: Sorry, yeah, no, no, you haven't. I take your point.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Can I make a controversial observation?
- 5:39Speaker 4: Yes? You always do off here, so you may as
- 5:41Speaker 4: well do one on here.
- 5:42Speaker 1: Can you get the racism button? Really here?
- 5:44Speaker 4: That's not a button that's all about it?
- 5:46Speaker 3: Is there scenario I've somewhat this is what I've noticed.
- 5:51Speaker 3: Someone doing a dance in the seated area tends to
- 5:55Speaker 3: be predominantly warming alert racism, do.
- 6:06Speaker 4: You know what I mean?
- 6:07Speaker 3: It's generally I'm being general here, not the fellows booging.
- 6:13Speaker 3: I always wanted a woman to get excited and you, yeah, I.
- 6:17Speaker 1: Want to have a bit of a boogie.
- 6:18Speaker 5: I think the rule is it's sort of an unwritten
- 6:20Speaker 5: rule because this is like, for example, when I was
- 6:22Speaker 5: at Billy Joel and I was in the seated section.
- 6:28Speaker 5: To be honest, the whole concert was seated section. I
- 6:31Speaker 5: don't think there was a standing area for Billy Joel
- 6:33Speaker 5: just based on them, and the people in front of
- 6:37Speaker 5: us stood up for let's just say one of his bangers,
- 6:39Speaker 5: which one to choose, River of Dreams? Right, that came
- 6:42Speaker 5: on that everyone got on their feet, and if you
- 6:44Speaker 5: were standing behind us, sitting behind someone who did stand up,
- 6:47Speaker 5: you then just stand up as well. And it's like, oh,
- 6:49Speaker 5: it looks like we're standing up for this one.
- 6:51Speaker 4: And you go with the flow.
- 6:51Speaker 5: If you're in a concert and you're getting pissed off
- 6:53Speaker 5: and you're throwing and you want to sit there and
- 6:55Speaker 5: watch the music, and no one's allowed to stand up.
- 6:58Speaker 4: You shouldn't have even left the house man year men,
- 7:00Speaker 4: Well that's what I think anyway.
- 7:02Speaker 3: But I also take Mogi's point is that he wants
- 7:04Speaker 3: to be comfortable and enjoy it in peace and quiet
- 7:08Speaker 3: concept and not have people standing up and making spectacles
- 7:12Speaker 3: of themselves.
- 7:13Speaker 4: Well, you can always go over it.
- 7:14Speaker 6: If you want to dance, you can always go over
- 7:17Speaker 6: and stand over. There's normally like a fire escape area,
- 7:20Speaker 6: you know, the steers. We can stand over there. It
- 7:22Speaker 6: doesn't have to be in front of all the people.
- 7:23Speaker 6: We can do it in the aisle or somewhere else. So, man,
- 7:26Speaker 6: this is a good tune. I'm just going to take
- 7:27Speaker 6: myself away to the corner and have a bit. Absolutely,
- 7:31Speaker 6: you're ruining other people's experiences to screw it's.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Such a bad Go on the Instagram and have your
- 7:36Speaker 3: say news yet and also text us three four eight
- 7:38Speaker 3: three let us know your views in the meantime.
- 7:40Speaker 1: He's an epic. He's an epic one. AHM cool. So
- 7:44Speaker 1: if you want to make a call Guns.
- 7:47Speaker 2: Roses the whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and
- 7:53Speaker 2: Kezy tune in week days and four on radio.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Hold It Guns Roses there on the radio Hodarky Big
- 8:08Speaker 3: Show this Monday afternoon a time twenty five minutes past
- 8:11Speaker 3: four o'clock. Now the big pole question today, dancing in
- 8:15Speaker 3: the seated section of a concert?
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yes or no?
- 8:17Speaker 4: That's right, Mogi.
- 8:18Speaker 5: You brought this one up and you are firmly in
- 8:21Speaker 5: the camp of everyone should be seated and if they
- 8:23Speaker 5: want to dance, they should move themselves to a private area,
- 8:26Speaker 5: maybe a fire exit or the what are they.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Called the aisles? Stay is there?
- 8:31Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 8:31Speaker 6: Well, I do think there is an area for people
- 8:33Speaker 6: who like to stand up, like there's a whole area
- 8:36Speaker 6: for that. So if you want to stand up, you
- 8:38Speaker 6: can go into that area that is there for that.
- 8:40Speaker 6: The place that has the seat, that's for the sitting
- 8:44Speaker 6: you have to sit. That's for the sitting. If you
- 8:46Speaker 6: don't like it, that's fine. There's another area for you.
- 8:50Speaker 6: It's called the standing section, right, and you can dance
- 8:53Speaker 6: in the standing section, but you can't be annoyed when
- 8:56Speaker 6: you're in the sitting section and you start dancing and
- 9:01Speaker 6: people aren't happy with you about it.
- 9:04Speaker 5: That's an interesting one, isn't it, Because that right there
- 9:06Speaker 5: makes me think, Man, I can't wait to go to
- 9:08Speaker 5: a concert with Mogi.
- 9:09Speaker 4: He sounds like a whole Moggi.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Back in the day, you and I were always in
- 9:12Speaker 3: the moshi Mate. We were having a you know, a
- 9:14Speaker 3: bit of a dancer.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right.
- 9:16Speaker 6: But that's the thing like back in the day, like
- 9:18Speaker 6: if I wanted to have a dance, you know where
- 9:19Speaker 6: I went to the front, I went to the standing section. Yes,
- 9:23Speaker 6: so I could have a dance. I didn't think to myself, Man,
- 9:25Speaker 6: I can't wait for a dance. Going to get myself
- 9:27Speaker 6: some seedar tickets.
- 9:28Speaker 1: To this bursten?
- 9:30Speaker 5: Yeah, what about a filest to go into the moshy
- 9:32Speaker 5: area and so get.
- 9:36Speaker 1: Especially with that.
- 9:38Speaker 5: No, for I was to go into the moshi area
- 9:41Speaker 5: and sit up a seat, yeah exactly.
- 9:43Speaker 1: Yeah, people will be loving that.
- 9:45Speaker 4: Well, I think I think it's funny. No know, what
- 9:48Speaker 4: the hell's this guy doing with a seat? Well, like
- 9:50Speaker 4: if someone like you, k what do you mean someone
- 9:52Speaker 4: like me? Man, play the races?
- 9:54Speaker 1: No, no, no.
- 9:55Speaker 3: No, I got up in front of me to dance
- 9:57Speaker 3: in the seed of the area. You got quite a
- 9:58Speaker 3: big caboose, you know what I mean, You're quite a unit.
- 10:02Speaker 3: It'll be blocking my entire view. You're ruining my enjoyment.
- 10:07Speaker 6: On it with your just so that you can have
- 10:10Speaker 6: your fun about other people's fund Keezy.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Well, obviously in that situation, and I just say, Kesy.
- 10:16Speaker 1: You're a shock, You're terrible man.
- 10:18Speaker 5: Can I just say, even though you just said obviously,
- 10:21Speaker 5: in that situation, Jason, I'm standing in front of you,
- 10:23Speaker 5: I've got my massive dump truck and that's ruining your
- 10:26Speaker 5: enjoyment because even if you stand on the seat, you
- 10:28Speaker 5: still can't see over me. Like So in that situation,
- 10:31Speaker 5: one hundred percent, I would my dump truck and I
- 10:33Speaker 5: would go to the island dance there. Yeah, but in
- 10:36Speaker 5: a regular situation with a regular person behind me, I
- 10:38Speaker 5: think it's fine and dancing should be encouraged no matter
- 10:40Speaker 5: where you are.
- 10:41Speaker 3: Hey, you've got Luca on the line.
- 10:43Speaker 1: Get a looky and Mayor Bassett, how's life?
- 10:45Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 10:46Speaker 1: Good? Thanks? Fellows?
- 10:46Speaker 8: Who are you?
- 10:47Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 10:47Speaker 1: Good? Thanks?
- 10:47Speaker 3: Mate? What's your view on this controversial topic?
- 10:51Speaker 7: Oh mate, Well, I went to Queen with Adam Lambert
- 10:53Speaker 7: when they came many years ago into Wellington. Right, I'm
- 10:56Speaker 7: all seating, everyone's seating, and you know, behave myself until
- 11:00Speaker 7: bow rep came on in the end and tried to
- 11:02Speaker 7: stand up in some old shock and bastards like mo
- 11:05Speaker 7: you started yelling at me.
- 11:06Speaker 5: Yeah see, and how did that make you feel, Luke?
- 11:08Speaker 5: Because it's one of the greatest songs of all time.
- 11:10Speaker 5: Of course you want to dance to it.
- 11:11Speaker 7: Oh, I paid two hundred and fifty bucks for a ticket.
- 11:13Speaker 1: I want to dance.
- 11:14Speaker 6: Yeah, and that's what you should have got, the standing
- 11:17Speaker 6: section you can down, no standing it was all.
- 11:21Speaker 4: Yeah, that's that's a good point.
- 11:22Speaker 5: A lot of those concerts, especially are like older bands
- 11:24Speaker 5: that there is no standing area, so everyone has to sit.
- 11:28Speaker 4: Mogi. Is that what you're saying.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Well, if it's a place where it's entirely seated, then
- 11:32Speaker 6: I would revisit. I'd revisit my opinion, because there's no
- 11:35Speaker 6: place to dance, and that's not right.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Yeah, that's when there is.
- 11:38Speaker 6: A place for dancers and a place for sitters. Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 6: those rules would be respected, and you can't flip flop
- 11:44Speaker 6: between the two. Well I don't think you should. Yeah, right,
- 11:46Speaker 6: I think as you say, right there, he's played two
- 11:48Speaker 6: hundred and fifty bucks.
- 11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, and so have all the people around him.
- 11:51Speaker 6: Yeah, so he two hundred and fifty bucks has got
- 11:53Speaker 6: more value than anybody else around him.
- 11:54Speaker 4: You're a shocking back.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Yeah, come on, luc think of other people, mate, your
- 11:58Speaker 3: mad bassard.
- 12:00Speaker 7: You're right, champions.
- 12:02Speaker 4: Look, you got yourself fifty reburg about you man, Thanks
- 12:05Speaker 4: for contributing, all right?
- 12:06Speaker 7: Oh, cheers, cheers fellows.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Mate, you on you god, you know what you should
- 12:11Speaker 4: move to the North Korea. I reckon It's that we're
- 12:13Speaker 4: running in a similar situation up there.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Jesus, racist shit is okay?
- 12:19Speaker 2: The Hodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Tune in four on Radio.
- 12:25Speaker 3: Cool There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 12:28Speaker 3: The time is four thirty nine. Now. There was a
- 12:30Speaker 3: bit of sporting action over the weekend, feel us, it's
- 12:33Speaker 3: him a bit of sport chat.
- 12:42Speaker 4: Hunch hunch hunch tip to doos to do is to do.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Rap rap rap rap rap rap rap rap rap.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Rap shuttle cock shuttle cock fur.
- 12:53Speaker 8: Run there.
- 12:56Speaker 3: Let's start off with the cricket, your mayor, Bars, it's
- 12:59Speaker 3: the Fellow a clean sweep of the series threes up
- 13:02Speaker 3: against England, but the final match by the heirs of
- 13:05Speaker 3: their Chinny chin Chin make.
- 13:07Speaker 4: It absolutely was.
- 13:08Speaker 6: I was fortunate enough to be commentating with the ACC
- 13:11Speaker 6: and every one of us to a man was hangover
- 13:14Speaker 6: and in pieces from their activities the day before, just
- 13:17Speaker 6: really praying for an early mark, to be honest with you,
- 13:21Speaker 6: and we look like we're going to get it with
- 13:22Speaker 6: England sort of around about forty odd for five be course,
- 13:26Speaker 6: then there was a where felt cocker hope when harry
- 13:29Speaker 6: Brook was gone. Yes, for not much at all, but
- 13:32Speaker 6: of course it was a traditional reguard action managing to
- 13:35Speaker 6: claw their way to two hundred and twenty two after
- 13:38Speaker 6: about forty overs. Yes, and then a similar thing happened.
- 13:42Speaker 6: We managed to get there in the end sort of
- 13:45Speaker 6: regular wickets fell, but yeah, England were garbage. I actually
- 13:47Speaker 6: wondered whether they were deliberately putting themselves under pressure to
- 13:51Speaker 6: give them itselves experience on how to crawl out of it.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Right.
- 13:55Speaker 6: Yes, given the fact that they're going over to Australia
- 13:57Speaker 6: for the ashes.
- 13:58Speaker 3: I thought, Rachland god awful.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Wretch and look pretty good.
- 14:02Speaker 3: Yes, and you know there's some encouraging signs and the
- 14:04Speaker 3: bowling stocks with folks folk folks, folks is great. He's
- 14:08Speaker 3: a great and he's got a really crazy. Yeah, didn't
- 14:12Speaker 3: get in quite a few wickets. Overton for England did
- 14:15Speaker 3: pretty well. He kind of saved their asses in both games.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Three scores of forty plus.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Yes, and but yeah, kind of a disappointing England three zip.
- 14:25Speaker 3: The All Blacks v. Island, which we touched on in
- 14:28Speaker 3: the podcast, so we won't bang on too much, an
- 14:30Speaker 3: absolute bloody debarcle of a match, massive setting. It was
- 14:34Speaker 3: in Chicago. There sixty eight thousand people. People were fizzing
- 14:38Speaker 3: for it and it was a debacle.
- 14:40Speaker 6: Horrendous advertisement for the game. The people that were organized
- 14:43Speaker 6: and it should be ashamed of themselves. Last twenty got good, Yes,
- 14:48Speaker 6: and I don't mind us, you know, losing the other
- 14:50Speaker 6: Island we're playing.
- 14:51Speaker 1: We're playing really well. Haven't played a lot of rugby lately,
- 14:53Speaker 1: but that.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Redcard and just referee and you know, I think their
- 14:57Speaker 6: first half took fifty five or fifty six minutes or
- 14:59Speaker 6: something ridiculous. So yeah, in terms of an ambroisement for
- 15:02Speaker 6: the game, she was a shocker.
- 15:04Speaker 5: Do you reckon it's getting better? Because I feel like
- 15:06Speaker 5: we've been saying this for a while. Yeah, they still
- 15:09Speaker 5: need to figure a few things out.
- 15:10Speaker 3: This particular match was a real shocker because they had
- 15:13Speaker 3: technical issues. They didn't know how what the setup was CRIC.
- 15:17Speaker 4: You know what they needed. They needed to pugs. They're
- 15:19Speaker 4: sitting it all up.
- 15:19Speaker 3: Yeah they did.
- 15:20Speaker 4: Yeah, pro Yeah, he would have got there and it
- 15:22Speaker 4: would have worked like a well orded machine. Yeah.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Also the Kiwis against Tonga.
- 15:27Speaker 5: Absolute hiding forty to twelve, forty to fourteen.
- 15:31Speaker 4: They look great, the Kiwis, they looked great. Toma.
- 15:33Speaker 5: Also when you look at their lineup, they were just
- 15:35Speaker 5: not They just weren't representing well enough for Toma. Like
- 15:39Speaker 5: the fans are so passionate. Their lineup is awesome. So
- 15:42Speaker 5: many top players have defected to their island nations and
- 15:45Speaker 5: they didn't deliver unfortunately.
- 15:47Speaker 1: And it was kind of.
- 15:48Speaker 5: Massively overshadowed too by Alicia Kartoor who plays for the Storm,
- 15:51Speaker 5: the best back rower in the NRL.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Just the head knocks, head knock before the game.
- 15:57Speaker 1: It's warm up. Yeah, he had he was not He
- 15:59Speaker 1: was knock.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Before the game and he still was allowed to play
- 16:02Speaker 5: another head knock And the reason actually pulled him off
- 16:05Speaker 5: the field in the end was because he had he
- 16:06Speaker 5: was bleeding and they couldn't stop bleeding. And then you
- 16:08Speaker 5: see a clip and you read his lips, him saying
- 16:11Speaker 5: to basically his teammates, I'm pretty eft fellers, which it's not.
- 16:14Speaker 5: And he's bleeding from all over his face. He's got
- 16:16Speaker 5: to swollen eyes.
- 16:18Speaker 6: His eyes, he's got to exploded blood vessel in one
- 16:20Speaker 6: of his eyes.
- 16:21Speaker 4: That's right.
- 16:21Speaker 5: And he had a brain bleed. He was suffering seizure
- 16:24Speaker 5: like symptoms. He's had surgery since and I believe a
- 16:29Speaker 5: brain bleed was the reason to Miody Martin, who now
- 16:32Speaker 5: plays for the Warriors, thankfully, but about five years ago
- 16:34Speaker 5: he had to medically retire from the NRL. And that
- 16:38Speaker 5: that is the reality that Alie Cartour could be facing
- 16:41Speaker 5: because they let him play on after that.
- 16:43Speaker 6: I just don't see how you get knocked out and
- 16:46Speaker 6: then you are allowed to play a game.
- 16:48Speaker 4: It should be an instant two months off of duty.
- 16:52Speaker 5: That it really is, and it's a shame because you know,
- 16:55Speaker 5: it was an excellent game, far more exciting than the
- 16:57Speaker 5: All Blacks. And we now play a final Sunday, nausey
- 17:00Speaker 5: for some reason, against some more at six o'clock.
- 17:03Speaker 6: Yeah, and Sunday again is Sunday, Yeah, bloody beautiful. That
- 17:06Speaker 6: was a great time last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. But yeah,
- 17:09Speaker 6: and thoughts going out to Kator. Yeah, he can't go
- 17:12Speaker 6: back to Australia for another week or so because of
- 17:15Speaker 6: the conditions that he's in.
- 17:17Speaker 1: But yeah, all the best of that legend.
- 17:20Speaker 2: The Hurlarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodiky.
- 17:24Speaker 1: Tom Petty.
- 17:25Speaker 3: There on the radio ho Donkey Big Show this Monday afternoon.
- 17:27Speaker 3: The time is four fifty two. Let's talk TV. What's
- 17:32Speaker 3: on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 17:41Speaker 6: Didn't watch anything, but I know Kezy has got something
- 17:43Speaker 6: pretty amazing that he wants to talk about today.
- 17:45Speaker 4: I just don't want to chew up anytime.
- 17:47Speaker 1: Oh nice, okay nice.
- 17:49Speaker 4: Over the weekend, my wife and I stayed in.
- 17:51Speaker 1: My turn though go I watched a movie? Was it yesterday?
- 17:59Speaker 3: Then? It was my wife's choice because it was her
- 18:01Speaker 3: turn to choose cool.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Are you going to talk about it?
- 18:04Speaker 1: It was called Cake with Jennifer Aniston.
- 18:09Speaker 4: A bit when you heard Jennifer Andison Cake, you were
- 18:11Speaker 4: keen airs.
- 18:12Speaker 3: I wasn't that keen on it, but I went, oh,
- 18:14Speaker 3: well that's what she's chosen, so we'll watch it.
- 18:17Speaker 4: Had a bit of a drunk or something, and then yes.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And a bit of a drug. Eg.
- 18:21Speaker 3: She loves it because she loses her son in the
- 18:23Speaker 3: car accident and falls apart and suffers from chronic pain.
- 18:28Speaker 3: But is the pain Mogi physical or is it emotional
- 18:33Speaker 3: pain suffering from.
- 18:35Speaker 1: And it's kind of, you know, redemption story.
- 18:41Speaker 4: I hated it, kil I'm glad you went first. How
- 18:43Speaker 4: many buzzies one and a half buzzies out of five?
- 18:47Speaker 4: You watch it on the teeth? Oh my god? Ah,
- 18:53Speaker 4: it's called cake. Yes, so the weekend.
- 18:56Speaker 5: So there's a particular genre of movie that my wife
- 18:59Speaker 5: really loves and that is based on a true story movies, right,
- 19:04Speaker 5: And so I was like, fine, I'm going to google
- 19:06Speaker 5: the top one hundred ever based on a true story films.
- 19:10Speaker 5: One of the top ones was A Beautiful Mind starring
- 19:13Speaker 5: Russell Crowe. Came out in like two thousand and one
- 19:15Speaker 5: or something. It's like one of those must watch movies.
- 19:18Speaker 5: Everyone's probably seen it.
- 19:19Speaker 4: I had not.
- 19:20Speaker 5: We watched it in two chunks, one hour Saturday night,
- 19:22Speaker 5: one hour last night, and I offully from the get go.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I'm giving this movie five busies out of five. Have
- 19:30Speaker 5: you guys seen it yet? It is absolutely excellent. The
- 19:34Speaker 5: way that and I'm not gonna spoil it, but the
- 19:36Speaker 5: way that Russell Crowe is dealing with something. In the
- 19:38Speaker 5: first half of the movie, you experience it too as
- 19:41Speaker 5: a viewer. You're just as shocked as he is. And
- 19:44Speaker 5: in the second half of the movie, you know it's
- 19:46Speaker 5: him dealing with it and it's all based on a
- 19:47Speaker 5: true story.
- 19:48Speaker 1: And the action.
- 19:49Speaker 5: There's enough action in there, so I didn't get bored.
- 19:51Speaker 5: It's a bit of romance in there, there's you know,
- 19:53Speaker 5: this drama in there. It was seriously the best movie
- 19:56Speaker 5: I've seen in a long time. Holy shit, it's good, guys,
- 20:00Speaker 5: Like I was directed by Ron Howard, Paul Bettany.
- 20:05Speaker 6: Russell Crowe was on a hell of a run there
- 20:06Speaker 6: at the back of Gladiator, and he went into that.
- 20:08Speaker 6: He put on some weight and then I think after
- 20:12Speaker 6: that he might have done the Insider. But yeah, it
- 20:14Speaker 6: is a great, great film. He was dominated again for
- 20:17Speaker 6: Best Actor for that.
- 20:18Speaker 5: He was nominated, lost out to Denzel Washington and Training Day.
- 20:23Speaker 5: But after watching that, I was like, I forgot how Like,
- 20:25Speaker 5: just classic Ron Howard movies are so I haven't seen,
- 20:28Speaker 5: for example, a Polo thirteen that's the next one we're
- 20:30Speaker 5: gonna watch because I was like Tom Hanks based on
- 20:32Speaker 5: a true story Ron Howard sweet Yeah.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah, and it is a phenomenal performance from Russell Crows
- 20:38Speaker 3: so good you're reminded actually because he's done some shockers too,
- 20:42Speaker 3: but he's a very good actor.
- 20:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and especially younger and hungrier, you know what I mean. Yes,
- 20:47Speaker 4: And that's the thing with Russell Crows.
- 20:49Speaker 5: Now you see him like he's you know, he's in
- 20:50Speaker 5: the stands of the Rabbit O's and he's doing little
- 20:52Speaker 5: comedy bits here and there.
- 20:53Speaker 4: But holy shit, in his prime he was, Yeah.
- 20:57Speaker 1: I reckon you and your wife would like cake. We
- 21:00Speaker 1: love cake, you know.
- 21:01Speaker 3: But the one I was talking on.
- 21:02Speaker 4: The movie, Yeah, we're all good man. But yeah, five
- 21:05Speaker 4: busies out of five. If you haven't seen a beautiful
- 21:07Speaker 4: mind like me, even though it's like a one that
- 21:09Speaker 4: everyone's seen, watch it.
- 21:11Speaker 1: What was it on? Keezy?
- 21:12Speaker 5: I hired it for I rented it for five nine
- 21:15Speaker 5: on Apple TV?
- 21:16Speaker 4: Nice Yeah, yeah, yeah, so big spend yeah, six bucks.
- 21:22Speaker 2: The whole Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keezy.
- 21:25Speaker 2: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hold.
- 21:28Speaker 3: I welcome back to you, Massive Bagbones hope you're surviving
- 21:30Speaker 3: this majestic Monday afternoon. You're listening to the big show
- 21:35Speaker 3: and it's brought to you by.
- 21:37Speaker 5: Reburger, handcrafted burgers, loaded fries and gourmet eats that will
- 21:41Speaker 5: change the game.
- 21:44Speaker 4: Good rolling on Roger.
- 21:55Speaker 1: I had this sticky Bishop in the weekend. Sorry you what?
- 21:59Speaker 1: I had this stick key bishop what was his name?
- 22:06Speaker 3: And I also and I got a side of fries
- 22:10Speaker 3: side and I also got the Reburger special sauce.
- 22:15Speaker 4: Them in sauce checking you set up?
- 22:17Speaker 1: No, because it was delivered, Well you.
- 22:21Speaker 4: Got to delivered to your house.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yes, any good? Yes, delicious?
- 22:24Speaker 4: Was it still hot when you got it?
- 22:25Speaker 3: It was really hot because it was only just down
- 22:27Speaker 3: the road.
- 22:29Speaker 1: Yeah, that was being a really lazy ass.
- 22:31Speaker 3: I said to my wife, Oh, it's just bloody uber it,
- 22:33Speaker 3: shall we and the chips as always? And my wife
- 22:37Speaker 3: even stated, you're actually right about the chips. They're bloody delicious.
- 22:41Speaker 3: Yeah she said that, and she got a some I'm
- 22:45Speaker 3: just a cheese burger, just the standard cheese.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and she loved it. Yes, yeah, good stuff.
- 22:50Speaker 5: He feels it is good stuff. Hey, I've got a
- 22:53Speaker 5: huge hour coming up. Guys, we're trying bloody excited about
- 22:55Speaker 5: Margie wants to chat about the birds.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Also say I'm not happy flag that.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Okay. Also, Jason, you've got my wife a.
- 23:05Speaker 3: Role perfect, it's perfect for her.
- 23:08Speaker 4: Okay, Well let's get into that next, because I'm not
- 23:10Speaker 4: sure how comfortable I am with you're getting my wife roles.
- 23:13Speaker 4: She's not even an actor.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I think she's got it in the a Kezi
- 23:18Speaker 3: and she's been married to you for how long?
- 23:26Speaker 2: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 23:30Speaker 3: Pink Floyd there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 23:33Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. The time is thirteen minutes past five o'clock.
- 23:37Speaker 3: And an interesting script came across my desk today, Keysy,
- 23:42Speaker 3: and it's called What's Underneath. It's a New Zealand Australian
- 23:45Speaker 3: production and I sort of builled it as the sort
- 23:49Speaker 3: of down under Superman.
- 23:51Speaker 4: Oh wow, okay, yeah yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 3: And it's the basic premise of the story is this
- 23:55Speaker 3: guy works in an accountancy firm and through a series
- 23:59Speaker 3: of events, he discovers that he has these quite unique powers,
- 24:04Speaker 3: you know, and he's your real sort of geeky type,
- 24:06Speaker 3: but he's he's got a really nice heart. And stuff,
- 24:09Speaker 3: and he starts to harness those powers. But anyway, the
- 24:12Speaker 3: reason why I was really interested in that is because
- 24:15Speaker 3: I was reading his sort of love interest for the
- 24:18Speaker 3: main character, right, And she's she also works at the
- 24:21Speaker 3: accountancy firm, and she's your classic sort of massively geeky
- 24:28Speaker 3: sort of looking woman. And here's she's she's she comes
- 24:34Speaker 3: across as uptight and she's got big sort of glasses on,
- 24:39Speaker 3: and you don't you don't really notice who kin, Yeah,
- 24:43Speaker 3: like a lower Lane type, not Lowa Slane, because yeah,
- 24:49Speaker 3: she's hot.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But then they have.
- 24:52Speaker 3: They have like what would you call it, a work
- 24:56Speaker 3: social and everyone turns up and she turns up and
- 25:00Speaker 3: it's like, hello.
- 25:03Speaker 4: Mama, what she has like a glow up or something.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well she dresses up on this outfit and like
- 25:08Speaker 3: literally in the film, the room stops because she is
- 25:12Speaker 3: unbelievably hot.
- 25:14Speaker 6: Right.
- 25:15Speaker 4: It's not like a really sexy outfit, is it.
- 25:17Speaker 3: It's quite a sexy outfit, and she really, you know,
- 25:20Speaker 3: just makes it work. And for some unknown reason, and
- 25:24Speaker 3: I don't know why, And this is sometimes how it
- 25:26Speaker 3: happens with casting. Your wife Simmons just kept popping into
- 25:29Speaker 3: my head and I'm thinking, you know, Keasy's wife would
- 25:33Speaker 3: be perfect for this, you know, the sort of studious,
- 25:37Speaker 3: geeky kind of character who was very good at her work,
- 25:41Speaker 3: made sure everything ran on time and then hello kind
- 25:45Speaker 3: of thing as the sort of love interest. And I
- 25:48Speaker 3: know she's never had, you know, experience as an actor,
- 25:52Speaker 3: but she appears to me to be the sort of
- 25:55Speaker 3: person that could learn very quickly perfect the.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Role, perfect for the role, you know what I mean.
- 25:58Speaker 3: And often the best sectors are those people that have
- 26:01Speaker 3: never acted at all.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Yes, right, they just be the role. They just be
- 26:05Speaker 1: the role.
- 26:06Speaker 3: You know. I can't imagine you're taking it really seriously
- 26:09Speaker 3: because she does you know, or.
- 26:10Speaker 4: She takes every Yeah, she's very studious.
- 26:13Speaker 1: She makes sure she works very hard with everything she does.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Okay, the issue we've got here, Jay says, you're meant
- 26:17Speaker 5: to be my agent and you haven't even got me
- 26:19Speaker 5: a role yet, and you're getting my wife roles you know,
- 26:21Speaker 5: I mean.
- 26:22Speaker 3: I haven't got her the role. I just got her
- 26:24Speaker 3: an audition for them. You've got her an audition, yes,
- 26:27Speaker 3: because I think, as I say, she'd be perfect for
- 26:30Speaker 3: that sort of transfer. And then it, you know, it
- 26:32Speaker 3: sort of heats up as it goes along and they're
- 26:34Speaker 3: romance blossoms. When she discovers because she's not really into
- 26:37Speaker 3: him either, she discovers he's actually the guy that's doing
- 26:41Speaker 3: all these good deeds around the place, right okay, and
- 26:43Speaker 3: she's like, what about And he's kind of geeky looking too,
- 26:47Speaker 3: but also underneath the geekiness pretty hard right Okay, I'm.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Thinking of you, Mogi for that role. I think you'd
- 26:54Speaker 1: be quite good.
- 26:55Speaker 6: Well, hang on, No, of the trouble you've got there
- 26:58Speaker 6: is on hyper masculine and you're saying, what is a
- 27:00Speaker 6: bit geeky?
- 27:01Speaker 1: Yeah, that was the only thing actually that stopped.
- 27:04Speaker 6: And I did mean you could you could get a
- 27:06Speaker 6: team of you know here and makeup and costume to
- 27:11Speaker 6: you know, make me look like I might possibly be
- 27:14Speaker 6: somehow unattractive.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Well, there's this one scene where she stumbles in and
- 27:19Speaker 3: he's getting changed into this outfit and you just see
- 27:22Speaker 3: him and he's cut like a Greek god.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Right, he's got.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Ebbs and picks and he's got the most stunning gutters.
- 27:28Speaker 3: And she is like, hello, hello, you're right, okay, how
- 27:33Speaker 3: are you talking?
- 27:34Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I don't know if I don't know, No,
- 27:36Speaker 4: I don't know. I don't think she. I've just texted her.
- 27:38Speaker 4: She doesn't want to do it. Well, you just texted, Well,
- 27:40Speaker 4: she's listening and she just said, Hey, I'm not interested
- 27:42Speaker 4: in that role at hood you j't no, So thank you.
- 27:44Speaker 1: I'm going to send you the scrap.
- 27:45Speaker 4: No don't.
- 27:46Speaker 1: I'm going to send you the scrapt No.
- 27:47Speaker 5: Don't, no, no, no don't. Also, you are my agent,
- 27:51Speaker 5: why don't I Why don't you put me forward for
- 27:53Speaker 5: that main character role? And then maybe I can convince
- 27:55Speaker 5: my wife to do it.
- 27:56Speaker 3: I did think you could pull off the geeky part,
- 28:00Speaker 3: but as I said, he's quite hot.
- 28:02Speaker 6: And the other problem you've got there is if you
- 28:04Speaker 6: guys are playing opposite each other. Yeah, like fundamentally, you
- 28:08Speaker 6: guys have got no chemistry.
- 28:15Speaker 4: Can I cask you a wife from the movie I'm
- 28:17Speaker 4: making Jason.
- 28:19Speaker 2: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Keyzy tune.
- 28:22Speaker 4: In four on radio.
- 28:25Speaker 3: That was garbage on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 28:29Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. The time is twenty four minutes past five o'clock.
- 28:32Speaker 3: I tell you what, Maggie but sore after yesterday's Pilava
- 28:36Speaker 3: Mate the action there Geez the old muscles are killing me.
- 28:40Speaker 6: I've got I've got pain and places I didn't know existed. Yes, yeah, yeah,
- 28:44Speaker 6: well what do you guys do well? And we do
- 28:47Speaker 6: this every year, Kezy, we should actually get you along
- 28:49Speaker 6: because I think you'd love it. The Auckland Marathon was on.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Oh yes, of course, the biggest race in New Zealand.
- 28:56Speaker 6: I think almost twenty thousand people do it or something that.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Yeah, it's pretty massive, especially when you get good weather
- 29:00Speaker 3: like that. Actually, I don't know if you'd like it
- 29:02Speaker 3: actually because you hate running.
- 29:03Speaker 5: I would absolutely hate it. Yes, I didn't know you
- 29:06Speaker 5: guys were in to run. Something about being in a
- 29:07Speaker 5: crowd like that cause it lifts you.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah it is.
- 29:11Speaker 3: And actually that's the thing is that everyone left everyone.
- 29:15Speaker 3: You know, if you see someone astrolia, you're like, come
- 29:17Speaker 3: on mate, you can do this, and it's people on
- 29:19Speaker 3: the sidelines year and.
- 29:20Speaker 6: You're on because people are bagging and they'll just sort of,
- 29:23Speaker 6: you know, fall over, absolute exhausted.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Come on, let's go. Yeah, seriously, the amount of people
- 29:31Speaker 3: that ship themselves too, you know runners, yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Runners, heard of that and he'd only done.
- 29:38Speaker 4: The ky Oh really who was that?
- 29:40Speaker 1: I know personally met McClean because he was out there.
- 29:44Speaker 5: At the moment him so a kilometer into it, he
- 29:47Speaker 5: already had runners.
- 29:48Speaker 4: But that's crazy.
- 29:49Speaker 1: Shock and burst. Yeah, yeah, it's a lot.
- 29:52Speaker 6: It's a it's a great time. With fifteenth time that
- 29:55Speaker 6: Jason and I have done.
- 29:56Speaker 1: It was it for.
- 29:57Speaker 6: Fifteen years, so they've made us the ambassadors, which was
- 30:00Speaker 6: which was pretty bloody special, I'll tell you what. But yeah,
- 30:03Speaker 6: it's just nice to get out there in deck because
- 30:05Speaker 6: it's the only run I do all year.
- 30:07Speaker 4: Yes, I don't train for it.
- 30:08Speaker 5: Well that's crazy, right, just because you're going to run.
- 30:10Speaker 5: You know, it's a hell of a distance and it's
- 30:13Speaker 5: the sort of thing that people train their whole lives for.
- 30:15Speaker 5: You might train all year for a marathon.
- 30:17Speaker 1: I think Mett Heath's been training for it.
- 30:19Speaker 4: Yeah, you don't mind you, Yeah, I think so.
- 30:21Speaker 3: My mentality is I like to save my energy, you
- 30:24Speaker 3: know what I mean, just for the one big I
- 30:26Speaker 3: do one big push, which is the Auckland Marathon, right,
- 30:29Speaker 3: and then that's me for the year.
- 30:31Speaker 6: Just sort of park up for the rest of the
- 30:32Speaker 6: year and just on the couch, just save it up.
- 30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, stuck on a vapor in that.
- 30:36Speaker 5: And So where did you guys, Where did you guys
- 30:38Speaker 5: start from? Where does it start?
- 30:39Speaker 6: It was over in Devonport. Have you heard of that?
- 30:44Speaker 1: Ackland? So it's on the not on the north shore
- 30:47Speaker 1: of Auckland.
- 30:47Speaker 4: And then you come you know the Import. Run round,
- 30:51Speaker 4: run round, run in the road there, run around.
- 30:53Speaker 6: Run, Then you get to the bridge, don't you the
- 30:54Speaker 6: Auckland the harbor Bridge, harbor Bridge, and you go run around,
- 30:58Speaker 6: run around.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Well, can I just say that before we go on there?
- 31:01Speaker 3: Mogi We're at the bottom of the Harbor Bridge and
- 31:03Speaker 3: Moogi looked at me and wh what do you reckon?
- 31:05Speaker 1: Hoody jay? And we just blitzed it up the harbor Bridge.
- 31:08Speaker 5: Just I really, I can't imagine you guys blitzing it
- 31:13Speaker 5: over the harborage.
- 31:14Speaker 4: Right, So you go over the bridge and then we
- 31:16Speaker 4: just to go down to Victoria Park.
- 31:19Speaker 6: So you go run around and sort of right round
- 31:22Speaker 6: there and then into Victoria Park, right, yeah, that's where
- 31:25Speaker 6: there is, yeah yeah, and then then you go to
- 31:28Speaker 6: go all the way back again.
- 31:31Speaker 1: So then you go back to Dimport.
- 31:32Speaker 6: So it's yeah, so it's there and back because it's
- 31:35Speaker 6: thirty k is there about twenty.
- 31:37Speaker 3: Six back and you've also got to go five times
- 31:40Speaker 3: around Victoria Park of course before you head back.
- 31:43Speaker 5: Right, okay, because I was just looking it up because
- 31:44Speaker 5: I could be keen. It says here that it finishes
- 31:46Speaker 5: in Corhea, Madama, like near Mission Bay where Mission Bay.
- 31:50Speaker 5: So like you run right through the city right round
- 31:52Speaker 5: Tamaki drive all the way around to Mission Bay.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Oh that's what it's called Mission Bay.
- 31:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 4: Sorry, well hang on, you said you turn around and
- 31:58Speaker 4: around back over the bridge.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Nah, but I see what I say.
- 32:01Speaker 6: Uh that park, Victoria Mission Bay. Yeah, hang on, because
- 32:06Speaker 6: we got an ice cream when we're over there. That's
- 32:07Speaker 6: a jointe.
- 32:08Speaker 4: Yes, Yeah, there's an ice cream store by Victoria Park
- 32:10Speaker 4: as well.
- 32:11Speaker 1: That wasn't that one. No, it wasn't. It wasn't that one.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Did you finish?
- 32:14Speaker 6: Just hard to know though, because sometimes you get lost,
- 32:16Speaker 6: don't you, Jase, when you're when you're in the front,
- 32:18Speaker 6: Well do you do?
- 32:19Speaker 3: And actually just on that because I didn't actually tell
- 32:22Speaker 3: you the smoking because we lost each other somewhere along
- 32:24Speaker 3: the way. I stopped at one of the cafes there
- 32:27Speaker 3: and had some brandy sauce chicken livers just to get
- 32:31Speaker 3: me to crass flagging a bit there, Kezy, Right, But
- 32:33Speaker 3: what I'm trying.
- 32:34Speaker 4: To figure out.
- 32:34Speaker 5: So you go over the bridge, you get to Victoria Park,
- 32:36Speaker 5: you did five laps of that. You got an ice cream,
- 32:38Speaker 5: Jason got a chicken liver and then you said you
- 32:41Speaker 5: read back over the bridge.
- 32:42Speaker 6: Is that?
- 32:42Speaker 1: Ah well? In all fitness, we've been on the Mushies,
- 32:47Speaker 1: ah right.

- 33:37Speaker 5: we crafted. Oh yes, because I mean obviously we named it.
- 33:40Speaker 5: We got people to vote and name it. I didn't
- 33:41Speaker 5: realize we crafted it. How did we craft it?
- 33:44Speaker 3: Oh?
- 33:44Speaker 6: Well?
- 33:45Speaker 1: I crafted?
- 33:46Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a bit of hoidy j in there.
- 33:50Speaker 4: Yeah there is. What do you mean, like, you picked
- 33:53Speaker 4: a few flavors, had to.
- 33:54Speaker 6: The hand to slick the hops, take the hops, and
- 33:56Speaker 6: then you put them in a container, a bucket sort
- 33:59Speaker 6: of thing, and you stomp on them, right, stomp them
- 34:02Speaker 6: out to get all the hops out.
- 34:03Speaker 4: Okay, so you get the hops out of the hot
- 34:05Speaker 4: and then what do you do with the sort of
- 34:06Speaker 4: casing of that.
- 34:07Speaker 1: That's not my business. I'm the guy that does the stomping.
- 34:10Speaker 1: Give it to the pigs, right, Okay?
- 34:14Speaker 3: But yeah, no, I put a few special little flavors
- 34:17Speaker 3: in their keysy, what do you put in there? I
- 34:20Speaker 3: want to give them away?
- 34:21Speaker 4: Why not? Because I make people want to come and
- 34:23Speaker 4: taste it.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Let me say it.
- 34:25Speaker 3: It tastes amazing, right, But I don't want to give
- 34:27Speaker 3: away the special ingredients.
- 34:29Speaker 1: That's that would be this way? You never guess.
- 34:32Speaker 3: You wouldn't ever guess, believe me. Oh natural, though, what
- 34:37Speaker 3: do you mean, oh natural, massive, totally organic, right was
- 34:42Speaker 3: the maid?
- 34:44Speaker 1: That's important?
- 34:45Speaker 6: It is important that little Kiwi on it that says
- 34:49Speaker 6: buy New Zealand maid. Yeah, it's got one of those
- 34:51Speaker 6: on it, yes, right okay.
- 34:53Speaker 4: But this ingredient though, because I'm a bit worried about
- 34:55Speaker 4: what it is, is.
- 34:56Speaker 6: A handhad Is it handmade in most countries?
- 35:03Speaker 1: Right?
- 35:04Speaker 4: So it's made yeah, hand tuned?
- 35:09Speaker 6: Right?
- 35:09Speaker 4: Okay, cool, but it's a hazy I p a.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah, she's pretty clowdy.
- 35:15Speaker 4: I mean, I'm I'll probably steer clear of that one
- 35:20Speaker 4: for the weekend, but I'll be pouring them for the
- 35:22Speaker 4: for the punters though.
- 35:23Speaker 3: In all seriousness, we have had a little temple, haven't
- 35:25Speaker 3: we found us?
- 35:26Speaker 1: It's bloody beautiful.
- 35:27Speaker 5: It is good, Jason, it's bloody great and it's available

- 36:02Speaker 1: Tune in on.
- 36:04Speaker 3: Radio ac DC there on the Radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 36:08Speaker 3: this Monday afternoon. The time is five fifty six. Now,
- 36:10Speaker 3: we had a big poll today. Didn't really feel us?
- 36:13Speaker 4: We certainly did.
- 36:14Speaker 5: Moggi brought it to the four. It was dancing in
- 36:16Speaker 5: the seated section of a concert, yes or no. Mogi
- 36:19Speaker 5: was staunchly in favor of if you have bought in
- 36:21Speaker 5: the seated section, you stay sitting and if you want
- 36:24Speaker 5: to dance, go down to the dancing section. That poll
- 36:27Speaker 5: is up on the Hodocky Big Shows Instagram story as
- 36:29Speaker 5: of right now, and he guesses as to where we're hidden.
- 36:34Speaker 6: I think seventy percent of people would think it's okay
- 36:36Speaker 6: to dance in the seeded area.
- 36:38Speaker 1: I would say eighty percent.
- 36:40Speaker 5: I'd like to think it's ninety five percent. Unfortunately it's
- 36:43Speaker 5: only sixty o, so forty percent of New Zealanders don't
- 36:47Speaker 5: like it when other people stand up at a concert
- 36:49Speaker 5: of music and dance for a bit and have a
- 36:52Speaker 5: good time and have a good time at a music concert.
- 36:55Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, yeah, well they you know, they're standing up
- 36:59Speaker 6: and dance, they are having a good time. This is
- 37:02Speaker 6: a communal experience, causing you've got to be considered of
- 37:05Speaker 6: the other people around you.
- 37:06Speaker 4: Shock and behavior man, shocking.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Hey, you know listen coming up up to sex o'clock field.
- 37:12Speaker 3: I've got a bit of a dilemma going and I

- 37:57Speaker 8: I've invited you around for Barney, and you're going to
- 38:01Speaker 8: pass on the body.
- 38:04Speaker 1: My own Rebooboo.
- 38:07Speaker 3: It's crave Ruby, it's full mate.
- 38:10Speaker 8: So I've invited you. I don't anything. I've invited you
- 38:15Speaker 8: to understand.
- 38:16Speaker 3: All you have to do is that it's yea.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Far out those two guys, those two.
- 38:24Speaker 3: Guys, then they're off the chain, as they say, out
- 38:28Speaker 3: of it burst.
- 38:29Speaker 4: I don't know if they're off the chain. I don't
- 38:31Speaker 4: know if that's quite right.
- 38:33Speaker 3: I'm going to get old Pug sund to cut those
- 38:37Speaker 3: into a CD so I can listen to them at home.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Just we've actually been approached by a big time Hollywood
- 38:44Speaker 6: film producer who wants to turn them into a series
- 38:46Speaker 6: of blockbusters.
- 38:48Speaker 4: But the rebiggest thing.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I can imagine, you know, imagine the animated drawings
- 38:52Speaker 3: for those characters.
- 38:53Speaker 1: Oh my god, they would be so good.
- 38:55Speaker 3: What we should speak to the fellows at Rebooger about
- 38:59Speaker 3: a whole campaign. It's called Reburger Rebururger, Yeah, and talk
- 39:05Speaker 3: to them about it, because I reckon it'll go all.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Four right, Okay? And then does Pugs get paid for that.
- 39:09Speaker 3: No, I mean we divvy it up amongst ourselves.
- 39:13Speaker 1: We get paid.
- 39:14Speaker 4: Yeah, we get paid for ye're key cool. That's a
- 39:16Speaker 4: great idea.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Hey, notice in coming up, as you know, I fel
- 39:19Speaker 3: has got a bit of filming and I'm having a
- 39:21Speaker 3: bit of a nightmare scenario happening at the moment.
- 39:24Speaker 4: Wasn't it learning your lines?
- 39:25Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 39:26Speaker 4: How many pages of script? Is it?
- 39:28Speaker 1: Five hundreds? Wow?
- 39:32Speaker 3: But in the meantime he's audio slaves.
- 39:34Speaker 4: It's an absolute shun. By the way, the.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Hiarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune in
- 39:41Speaker 2: four on radio Hoky.
- 39:42Speaker 3: You two there on the radio, Holdankee Big show this
- 39:46Speaker 3: Monday afternoon. The time it's thirteen minutes past six o'clock.
- 39:49Speaker 3: And as you know, I Fela's have got some filming
- 39:50Speaker 3: coming up, and there's some challenges for old howdy.
- 39:53Speaker 4: Ja Yeah really, yeah, surely you're used to it by
- 39:56Speaker 4: this gifted actor.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Of well, no, it's been a while, kie, he really
- 40:01Speaker 3: since I've done some acting. And this is a big
- 40:04Speaker 3: it's a remake of a classic.
- 40:05Speaker 4: Actually, oh you're like a movie or something.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah, have you guys heard of Lady Chatterley's lover yes book.
- 40:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:12Speaker 4: Yeah, that's a famous book, isn't it.
- 40:14Speaker 3: And it's a famous film as well, And they're doing
- 40:16Speaker 3: a sort of remake of that.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Because it was like one of the first mainstream successful
- 40:21Speaker 5: like smutty sort of smutty nifty shades of.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Gray back in the twenties. It was lady Chatter.
- 40:29Speaker 6: It was a bit sexually explicit and raised and eyebrows,
- 40:32Speaker 6: and it was banned I think for quite a long while.
- 40:34Speaker 3: It was Yeah, yeah, well, I mean I met there
- 40:38Speaker 3: are some sex scenes.
- 40:39Speaker 1: What's the general gist of it? What it's about?
- 40:41Speaker 3: Sort of class division? Yeah, and it's about an old
- 40:46Speaker 3: fellery sort of will be a will wheelchair bound. She's
- 40:54Speaker 3: the one in the wheel yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, and
- 40:58Speaker 3: she becomes involved, yeah with the gardener.
- 41:02Speaker 1: Oh right that Mellons Yeah, Oliver, Oliver Mellows.
- 41:06Speaker 4: Yeah play are you playing Mellows?
- 41:07Speaker 1: Yes?
- 41:08Speaker 3: I am, well yeah, yeah, And in necessarily I thought
- 41:10Speaker 3: I might be a bit old.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yeah, but then that's what I thought with my screen test.
- 41:15Speaker 4: That's literally what I'm thinking right now.
- 41:17Speaker 3: With my screen test.
- 41:18Speaker 1: They went, oh no, he's still got it. He's got
- 41:20Speaker 1: it right.
- 41:21Speaker 4: How long's Oliver supposed to be like in the in
- 41:24Speaker 4: the novel, it's like her young lover, right, like I said,
- 41:28Speaker 4: or something, and he's hung like a rogue stallion.
- 41:30Speaker 1: I think that helped me.
- 41:31Speaker 6: So you're the young you're the younger lover, yeah, Harold.
- 41:34Speaker 6: She then given your age.
- 41:35Speaker 3: She's about I think about fifty or sixty.
- 41:40Speaker 4: Yeah, right, wow, Yeah, I think she's in essentially.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Yeah, and she's yeah yeah, and she still has those
- 41:46Speaker 3: desires that aren't being right for fulfilled.
- 41:49Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 41:50Speaker 3: But I mean I don't want to get into the
- 41:51Speaker 3: whole sexual side that I've got that down pat, you know,
- 41:55Speaker 3: and we've we've done rehearsals for that sort of thing,
- 41:58Speaker 3: and that can I just say it fizzled, Oh they
- 42:01Speaker 3: have no Fizzled is bad?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Fizzed, sizzled, fizzled right.
- 42:06Speaker 4: Yeah, fizzled out. It's it's sizzled.
- 42:09Speaker 3: I was steaming.
- 42:12Speaker 1: A little.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Well, what's your what's your issue?
- 42:14Speaker 3: Then it's the lines, right, you know, And we're doing
- 42:18Speaker 3: a simulation of that, you know, we're kind of doing
- 42:21Speaker 3: the one of the love making scenes and that old
- 42:24Speaker 3: hardy Jay is sort of doing his business and I
- 42:28Speaker 3: mean doing his business, and I wow, there's got to
- 42:34Speaker 3: be a certain realism to it easy, okay, And and
- 42:39Speaker 3: I'd read the lines and so forth, fellas, But on
- 42:41Speaker 3: the in the moment, I just everything just went and
- 42:44Speaker 3: it just went out the door.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I had white noise in my head.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Geezy, I'm hammering away there and there's just white noise.
- 42:54Speaker 5: So okay, because that's something that happens to new actors
- 42:57Speaker 5: right as your sort of in the moment you know
- 42:59Speaker 5: your lines, then they just disappear out of your head.
- 43:01Speaker 1: Is that what happened to you that?
- 43:02Speaker 3: Well, that's what happened to me back in the day
- 43:04Speaker 3: I talked about I was a machine when it came
- 43:07Speaker 3: to lines. I could look at a scrap, you know,
- 43:10Speaker 3: a scene and moon it in five minutes. Yeah, you
- 43:12Speaker 3: know what I mean. And now it just won't stay
- 43:15Speaker 3: in there, Fellows.
- 43:16Speaker 6: And there are some bloody beautiful lines here, Jase. I'm
- 43:18Speaker 6: just looking for you up here. You talk of love
- 43:21Speaker 6: as though it was something to think about. It's not
- 43:23Speaker 6: in the head, lass, it's in the skin and in
- 43:27Speaker 6: the breath between us.
- 43:28Speaker 4: Well do you say that?
- 43:29Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 43:30Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh, that was That's what I was trying to
- 43:32Speaker 3: remember today in the rehearsals.
- 43:34Speaker 1: Damn it.
- 43:35Speaker 5: Ah, So you're kind of too old to be cast
- 43:38Speaker 5: as that character and you can't remember the lines.
- 43:40Speaker 3: Yeah, well I'm not too old, you know. I'll be honest.
- 43:43Speaker 3: There's a bit of makeup going on, okay, in order
- 43:46Speaker 3: to sort of smooth me out.
- 43:48Speaker 4: Yeah right, but a plaster.
- 43:50Speaker 1: Yeah, man, just to stick it all together.
- 43:52Speaker 4: Well that's the when do you start, Well.
- 43:54Speaker 3: It starts filming next this week, actually this week on
- 43:58Speaker 3: my first day, Wednesday.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Far out. Okay, So you've got to commit them to memory.
- 44:02Speaker 1: Yes, And I'll be honest, I'm panicking slightly.
- 44:05Speaker 6: Well, you know, of course. You know some of the
- 44:07Speaker 6: great actors. Marlon Brando, for instance, we've talked about this before.
- 44:11Speaker 6: He had the dummy board, so he had his lines
- 44:13Speaker 6: written in various places so you could just sort of
- 44:15Speaker 6: have it over, you know, dobby board drawing us just
- 44:18Speaker 6: over his shoulder there.
- 44:20Speaker 4: You can write it on the headboard or something, you
- 44:21Speaker 4: know what I mean.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's right. Actually, good point, good point.
- 44:26Speaker 5: I think that'll go down well if you ask for
- 44:28Speaker 5: them out Marlon brand No treatment, I reckon that will work.
- 44:31Speaker 6: You make me feel like a man again, not a servant,
- 44:34Speaker 6: not a ghost in a gray suit, just a man
- 44:37Speaker 6: with warmth in his blood. Yeah, it's going to feel
- 44:43Speaker 6: a bit gross. Would you say that I reckon.
- 44:47Speaker 2: The Hdarchy Big Show? Was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 44:50Speaker 2: in on.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Radio David Bowie There on the Radio Darchy Big Show

- 45:08Speaker 4: with the foot feelers. Meet Patty Nips sixty nine at
- 45:11Speaker 4: gmail dot com. Just in case you couldn't understand it
- 45:14Speaker 4: from that singing, It's a free email address. You're slipping
- 45:17Speaker 4: too there. You ask us a question and if we
- 45:19Speaker 4: answer it, fifty reburgervouchers or yours a free email. It's
- 45:23Speaker 4: a free email.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Wow?
- 45:26Speaker 3: Can I just reiterate if I've already given you or
- 45:28Speaker 3: read one of yours before you don't get another way?
- 45:30Speaker 1: Get nah ah?
- 45:32Speaker 5: Now, this is an interesting one, feel as it comes
- 45:34Speaker 5: in from anonymous good ay there desperately needed some advice.
- 45:38Speaker 5: Around two weeks ago, I saw a classic video pop
- 45:40Speaker 5: up on my Instagram feed of a radio announcer being
- 45:42Speaker 5: coerced into eating some potato chips after he had sworn
- 45:46Speaker 5: that he was giving them up. This came in about
- 45:48Speaker 5: a month ago. By the way error the video captured
- 45:50Speaker 5: these events and was uploaded. Laughs were had by all.
- 45:53Speaker 5: I took it upon myself to post a comment on
- 45:55Speaker 5: the video court red honkered, a very low effort play
- 45:59Speaker 5: on the term red handed, and a comment on the
- 46:02Speaker 5: main protagonists knows. This comment has so far reached fifty likes.
- 46:07Speaker 5: I don't even think I have fifty friends in real life,
- 46:09Speaker 5: so this is.
- 46:10Speaker 4: Huge for me. I was then shocked to read a
- 46:12Speaker 4: reply from the account that posted the video asking for
- 46:14Speaker 4: my phone numbers so that they could send me a voucher.
- 46:17Speaker 4: To this date, I am yet to receive a voucher.
- 46:20Speaker 4: My question is this, if this gets read out on
- 46:22Speaker 4: the show, do I get two vouchers? Because my word,
- 46:25Speaker 4: do I love Reburger Cheer is anonymous?
- 46:29Speaker 1: I would argue yes absolutely.
- 46:32Speaker 6: My argument would be no, because one cancels the other out.
- 46:35Speaker 1: I think no.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Well, but my thinking is he's won them for separate things,
- 46:40Speaker 3: but we like a clever comment, and then for making
- 46:43Speaker 3: the effort on meet Patty Naps sixty nine.
- 46:45Speaker 5: But Jas, it's very easy for you to sit there
- 46:48Speaker 5: in your ivory tower of Reburger vouchers and just dish
- 46:50Speaker 5: them out. You have no idea what happens once we
- 46:53Speaker 5: say someone's getting voucher.
- 46:54Speaker 3: Can I just say I tried to use one day,
- 46:56Speaker 3: but the weekend it didn't work good enough? No? I
- 46:59Speaker 3: was felthy.
- 47:00Speaker 4: Did it really?
- 47:00Speaker 1: I don't have to pay for it, did you? Yes?
- 47:02Speaker 1: I did?
- 47:03Speaker 5: You were typing it in right, Yes, because mine's work.
- 47:06Speaker 5: I've used a few times. Mine's worked, no dramas.
- 47:08Speaker 1: I've used it once and it worked.
- 47:10Speaker 3: This time it didn't. But anyway, getting back to the point, Yeah,
- 47:13Speaker 3: I say give them both?
- 47:14Speaker 4: Yeah, right, what do you think megie?
- 47:18Speaker 1: I mean, look, I absolutely can.
- 47:20Speaker 6: I'm happy to say give them, give them too, because
- 47:22Speaker 6: he won't receive either.
- 47:25Speaker 1: Yeah, give the one hundred. He's he's not getting one
- 47:28Speaker 1: lead alone. Two? Can I just say too?
- 47:30Speaker 3: I think I know the person he's referring to when he,
- 47:33Speaker 3: you know, talks about the honker and the chip eating. Yeah,
- 47:37Speaker 3: you know, and I know it's probably me. And I'll
- 47:39Speaker 3: take it on the chin and say good luck to you, sir.
- 47:42Speaker 4: Right, okay, I mean pugs.
- 47:45Speaker 1: Pugs.
- 47:45Speaker 5: I mean, because you're the one that's in charge of
- 47:47Speaker 5: sort of good Amen. Did you come in on the
- 47:50Speaker 5: Instagram video and say, hey, what's your phone number?
- 47:52Speaker 4: I'm going to send you some chips Yeah, Reburg about you?
- 47:54Speaker 4: Sorry chips man? Yeah right, okay, so what happened did
- 47:58Speaker 4: you send it? Well?
- 48:00Speaker 1: Obviously not.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Come on, Parks, that is not good. Got a bloody
- 48:06Speaker 3: standard to uphold.
- 48:07Speaker 4: Here, Anonymous can have one because I don't like being criticized.
- 48:11Speaker 1: That's true, even when it's justified.
- 48:14Speaker 6: Exactly, I think everyone's especially when it's justified.
- 48:17Speaker 5: Jas everyone's got a one voucher limit, right, that's bullshit.
- 48:21Speaker 5: So we'll double check it and we'll send out a
- 48:23Speaker 5: voucher if he's not one one before?
- 48:25Speaker 4: Is it sounded right to everyone?
- 48:27Speaker 1: God almighty? What have we become?
- 48:29Speaker 2: What the Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on
- 48:36Speaker 2: Radio Hodarkys Here on.

- 48:53Speaker 1: of it?
- 48:54Speaker 3: And is it an event with the one and only
- 48:57Speaker 3: Ryan Fop. I've heard of it, son of Grant Fox.
- 49:01Speaker 3: He's a I mean not Grant Fox. But Ryan Fox
- 49:04Speaker 3: is a gun golfer and it's all these other golfers
- 49:07Speaker 3: trying to beat them.
- 49:08Speaker 1: Jason, we've heard of it.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Literally. Well, it's just bringing it up because I'm looking
- 49:12Speaker 3: outside thinking, God, that'll be a great day for Chasing
- 49:15Speaker 3: the Fox.
- 49:16Speaker 5: So you think you know he's about Chasing the Fox.
- 49:18Speaker 5: But I bet you didn't even know that it was
- 49:19Speaker 5: brought to you by Minuka Fuel.
- 49:21Speaker 1: I did know that, did you really? I just didn't
- 49:23Speaker 1: want to say it.

- 50:06Speaker 3: Yeah, well they found out what Keysy's handicap was, and okay,
- 50:11Speaker 3: we'll just leave it there and not save you the humiliations.
- 50:14Speaker 4: You know what's funny is I was asked last year.
- 50:18Speaker 5: I think at the last minute Bryce pulled out of
