  as opposed to the sea, the oceans, the chaos land

  I was trying to say that it's much cooler inside

  the cave than on the surface of the Earth, which

  is flat. Of course, we're gonna get started momentarily. I'm

  Road the Tree Part two. I'm gonna get into my

  old journals and some of my old archives, and I've

  got my old cassette tapes here. I've got some mini

  cassette tapes here, none of which have been digitized. I

  really need to hire somebody to digitize all these recordings.

  I'll still keep all the original tapes, but I don't
• 4:45
  want to play them over and over again, because they
• 4:47
  actually get worn out once they're in FLAK or a
• 4:52
  MP three format, they don't They don't lose anything as
• 4:58
  you play them. I don't risk the tape getting chewed
• 5:02
  up or something and losing it forever. But I have
• 5:04
  so much stuff that's recorded that is strictly on tape.

  I've converted some of it over, some of which I'm
• 5:11
  actually going to compile and put some albums together. It's
• 5:16
  another one of these side projects that I, you know,
• 5:18
  talk about but never get around to. And it is appropriate.

  You know, we're approaching the end of the summer, the
• 5:29
  harvest time will be quickly upon us, the fall and
• 5:34
  all that entails. That's always been a special time of
• 5:36
  year for me, and usually this signifies big time, big
• 5:45
  time changes in my life. I wasn't sure how to
• 5:49
  phrase that, so I'll be doing a little bit of
• 5:53
  the latter period, I guess you could say here. And
• 5:56
  it's all about my transition, my spiritual transition, you know,
• 6:02
  out of the occult and divination and shamanism and Eastern
• 6:07
  mysticism and starting the process of turning back to Christ,
• 6:15
  to Jesus, to Christianity. So sometimes I am in outer
• 6:22
  space I am on the fringes. Sometimes I'm back here
• 6:28
  in Idaho. Sometimes I'm visiting places where I've opened portals
• 6:35
  through time, and you know, and I have to go
• 6:40
  back and check on them every once in a while.

  You know, I wonder what gulies and creepizoids I left
• 6:53
  behind if I forgot to close any of those gateways

  which I've I've since prayed about and prayed them closed

  in the name of Jesus, so that those things don't

  influence future residences, some of which are in other states,

  other places, other realms. But today I'm going to be

  retreating into my hermit cave. It's much cooler in the

  hermit cave. It's dark. I don't have any electricity, so

  I have to telepathically broadcast from there. That's why things

  I miss having a church community, a church that I
• 14:17
  belonged to ever since I moved to Idaho. They've got

  a lot of non denominational strip mall churches, but that

  might be changing soon. I am looking into the Antiochian
• 14:37
  Orthodox Church here in town, so I might be becoming
• 14:43
  a fringe Orthodox. We will see because apparently there is
• 14:49
  a process.

  the opposite of fringe.

  Speaker 5: I know, right, I wonder if Johnny will kick me

  Johnny wouldn't do that. Johnny's an awesome dude. Plus he's

  a Baptocostal Catholic, and you know how they are. Plus,

  there's no reason why you can't research fringe subject matter,
• 15:23
  even fringe stuff in the Bible or church history or
• 15:28
  hidden history or aliens or whatever, and not adhere to
• 15:36
  the Orthodox faith. Actually, I'm reading a really good book
• 15:42
  right now. It's called Orthodoxy and the Religion of the
• 15:46
  Future by Father Seraphim Rose, which was written in nineteen
• 15:54
  seventy five. Okay, that's when I was born, and a
• 16:00
  lot of it takes place in northern California, which is
• 16:04
  where I was born. Except I had no clue what
• 16:08
  Orthodox he was until much later. And then all you
• 16:16
  really know is that, yeah, there was a split, and
• 16:20
  in the East, the Orthodox survived, the Western churches became
• 16:25
  what's known as the Roman Catholic Church going forward and
• 16:29
  like a thousand years ago, so I mean, I barely
• 16:34
  knew that up until very recently the past couple of
• 16:37
  years or so, been learning a lot more about Orthodox
• 16:44
  theology and finding that it aligns a lot better with
• 16:55
  my understanding, I guess. But this book is concerning Orthodoxy
• 17:04
  as the original church passed down by Jesus Christ and
• 17:12
  continuing forward after this schism, and its response to the
• 17:21
  new age religion that we're seeing blossoming now in this
• 17:27
  return to polytheist religion, also the alien religion, the UFO religion.
• 17:35
  You can see how that fits nicely with the subject
• 17:38
  matter that I discuss here. So we might be bringing
• 17:45
  that fringe Ortho bro perspective to ministry X here. As
• 17:56
  you will see, as I continue on this road, this
• 18:01
  spirit quest, I think the train might be pulling into
• 18:10
  the station, so to speak. And that's what the road
• 18:15
  the tree is all about. But one thing I will
• 18:21
  not be doing is becoming, you know, an official spokesperson
• 18:25
  for Orthodoxy or an Orthodox apologist, especially during this period
• 18:30
  where I'm first entering the church, becoming a catechuman and
• 18:38
  learning about church history and church theology. In other words,
• 18:43
  it's very much discouraged that you speak on behalf of
• 18:50
  the Eastern Orthodox Church so in other words, don't listen
• 18:56
  to ministry X if you're looking for orthodox theology or
• 19:01
  anything like that. Continue to listen though, if you're enjoying
• 19:07
  the spiritual journey that I've been on, which is what
• 19:10
  today's podcast is about. But a lot of my views
• 19:15
  are shifting a little bit, especially in regards to the
• 19:21
  esketon the end times. A lot of my presuppositions, my
• 19:33
  evangelical dispensationalist views, I'm beginning to call into question. You know,
• 19:43
  I've sort of been a pre millennial. I guess I'm
• 19:47
  moving more to an a millennial position. I mean, I've
• 19:55
  already been sort of at odds with some of the
• 19:59
  ev angelical stuff and the charismatic stuff, but all the
• 20:06
  fundamentals are still there concerning salvation, the Gospels, my view
• 20:13
  on the Trinity. I just feel like the Holy Spirit
• 20:19
  is now leading me into a deeper understanding, and not
• 20:23
  only that, a return to communion with the Lord and
• 20:32
  receiving the Eucharist and going to a church service that
• 20:38
  is liturgical, that is worship in a much truer sense
• 20:44
  than you know, a little rock concert with dopey emotional songs.
• 20:54
  And then you know this cringe like hipster pastor guy
• 21:00
  giving a PowerPoint presentation with a few scriptures and this
• 21:09
  moralism I have always that's always rubbed me the wrong way,
• 21:16
  and it doesn't inspire me, it annoys me. I want
• 21:23
  something deeper. I need something deeper, and I need to
• 21:30
  have a church community around me, you know, to support
• 21:36
  that transition, which is just yet another refinement. I think
• 21:42
  that the Holy Spirit is leading me into. So don't worry.
• 21:48
  I don't have any plans on growing out my beard,
• 21:56
  just looking for something more holy, more true, rational, and
• 22:08
  I just think the church has become fractured, you know
• 22:13
  the world of Protestantism, thirty thousand plus different denominations, and
• 22:21
  the frustration of this, you know, go it alone diy Christianity,
• 22:28
  where you can never find a church that aligns, you know,
• 22:31
  one hundred percent with your beliefs. So you know, we'll
• 22:35
  just start another church and start another denomination, or we'll
• 22:40
  have no church and we'll just patch it all together
• 22:43
  in alignment with our own understanding. And I'm just starting
• 22:48
  to think that's that's an error, it's wrong. We need
• 22:52
  to have solid teaching that's based on that first thousand
• 22:58
  years of church history and the church fathers go back
• 23:07
  to the scriptures and have the correct interpretation of the scriptures,
• 23:12
  not some wild interpretation or a denomination based on one
• 23:19
  scripture taken out of context. There's no more unity. There's
• 23:26
  no one visible church that non believers can look at
• 23:32
  and say this is Christianity, at least with you know,
• 23:38
  since the Reformation, which I think had some valid objections
• 23:46
  to the papacy and indulgences and that sort of thing,
• 23:50
  but now it's just become shattered. You know, you have
• 23:59
  your non believer friends and family, You're like, come along
• 24:02
  to church with me, and they're going to hear some wild,
• 24:05
  crazy thing that doesn't make any sense. You know, it's
• 24:10
  detrimental honestly to the Kingdom of God. And I think
• 24:18
  now I'm starting to understand that just you know, going
• 24:22
  it alone and kind of making it up as you
• 24:25
  go along, there's something missing there, and it's tradition, it's
• 24:31
  correct interpretation of the Bible. So does that leave room
• 24:39
  for you know, fringe theories and stuff. Sure, yeah, we
• 24:42
  can have discussions about these things, but it's always also
• 24:46
  been about bringing it back to the Word of God
• 24:50
  and getting it right and the truth and I think
• 24:54
  that sort of trumps, you know, any idea of fringe.
• 24:59
  We're not fringe for the sake of fringe. I mean,
• 25:02
  fringe is kind of a misnomer anyways. I mean, I
• 25:06
  know this is the Fringe Radio Network and everything, but
• 25:09
  Fringe is basically the truth in a time where the
• 25:17
  mainline church has gone so far astray. Fringe is actually
• 25:22
  more orthodox, it's more central, and there's plenty of mystery.
• 25:28
  There's plenty of difficult passages in the Bible to try
• 25:34
  and understand. There's plenty of things about history. There's plenty
• 25:38
  of things about you know, cryptids and all this other
• 25:41
  stuff that we can still talk about and we can
• 25:44
  still explore and try and put in a biblical framework.
• 25:50
  It's still about restoring a supernatural worldview that's been decimated
• 25:59
  by postmodernism and the Enlightenment and materialism. You know, that's
• 26:06
  one string of the fringe Christian movement. Is it fringe
• 26:12
  to talk about the Nephelim, to talk about Genesis six?
• 26:17
  Is it fringe to talk about interpreting the Bible by
• 26:22
  going back to the original Hebrew and understanding the Hebrew
• 26:27
  language or the Greek? Is it fringe to consider the
• 26:31
  septuagen translation of the Bible, the Old Testament. Is it
• 26:38
  fringe to think that there were these hybrid creatures that
• 26:41
  once walked the earth and interacted with human beings? Is
• 26:46
  it fringe to recognize, you know, the reality of angels
• 26:50
  and demons. No, all that is orthodox, it's biblical, it's historical,
• 27:00
  and we can still look at things with a scientific
• 27:03
  lens also, so none of that's changing. I just wanted
• 27:11
  to make it clear that I'm not a spokesperson or
• 27:14
  an apologist for the Orthodox Church in any capacity. I
• 27:18
  am still on the journey. I am still on the road.
• 27:25
  That's my little disclaimer there. And with that being said,
• 27:29
  won't you join me now? In Part one, I read
• 27:36
  excerpts from my journal and then compare and contrast it
• 27:40
  with the scriptures, basically to illustrate where I started in
• 27:48
  my walk with God and where I ended up, with
• 27:52
  various stops along the way. And so that's the outline
• 27:57
  of this. And some of these entries are like from
• 28:01
  dream journal entries. Some of them are automatic writing sessions,
• 28:05
  some of them are just poems, not a strict format.
• 28:12
  But there was a long road to get to this point,
• 28:18
  and that's what I'm gonna be looking at here, and
• 28:22
  I'm gonna start off with this from the searching scriptures,
• 28:29
  just checking all the wingers and the dingers and the
• 28:34
  the sorry guys. How's that go? I called them here
• 29:28
  tonight to let them know the voice still calls them.
• 29:37
  A fever of inspiration rushes in as I observe the
• 29:44
  clamor of the gathering of years and servos, magnets and tickers,
• 29:59
  bottle caps, bells, sticks, breathers, cords, fans, vibes, plates, bottles, stones, skin,
• 30:19
  even those with their steel corner plates, rusted fazed circuit boards.
• 30:31
  Yes they belong here too, Switches and beacons, classic clanking
• 30:41
  corner stones of my reality. Tonight would be their last performance.
• 30:56
  I had never heard a rubber band cry so mournfully
• 31:09
  until that night. Even as the first unison was approaching,
• 31:20
  the demon's stark figures waited on the hilltops, only seen
• 31:29
  when the lightning flashed, the wind and rain whipped them about,
• 31:38
  just like always added a bunch of spontaneity. It was
• 31:49
  nice to hear the refreshing sound of the air in
• 31:53
  between sets, and those old boys could still crank out
• 32:02
  the juice for miles around. The crowd gathered, tired of
• 32:10
  the new sound that had infiltrated the city. Some even
• 32:18
  brought their old, beat up breathers along with them and
• 32:21
  formed a circle. They answered the performers, such that it
• 32:29
  became much bigger. The people started to remember, and the
• 32:38
  second unison was upon them. The chime boy released his
• 32:44
  breath and the dancing began. The crowd split off into spinlets,
• 33:32
  like planets suddenly reversing orbits wobbling from the counterforce. This
• 33:41
  was the time for each to listen to their own
• 33:44
  private tunes and play their own breather. But this never
• 33:51
  lasts long. Soon they all spiraled towards the center again.
• 33:58
  Loneliness that the tendency of breathers to gravitate always keeps
• 34:19
  the group together alone on the boundary, desires to merge arise, yes,
• 34:32
  and this causes them all to rejoin and caress each other,
• 34:37
  who staying lead here The rain allows this conductivity. The
• 34:46
  third unison gives rise to pure air. Soon one tone
• 34:55
  is heard and a glimmering, I can't even take this
• 35:05
  stuff seriously, I cannot read this in a serious fashion.
• 35:10
  Oh my goodness, all right, rewind take two. The third

  unison gives rise to pure air. Soon one tone is

  heard and a glimmering phantom of the breathers sound is
• 35:41
  perceived but not actually present, and the demons on the
• 35:47
  hilltop turn back. They turned back. They will all be
• 36:01
  told by their superiors to forget, but some of them
• 36:04
  will one day join the ranks of these grand clamoring monsters. Masters,
• 36:11
  that is not monsters. This is, after all, the new
• 36:16
  classical age. And the voice still calls it heartache. I
• 37:00
  know you gotta laugh at it or else you're gonna cry.

  That tune there is called I called it other Room, Okay,

  So I had to let you listen to the frenetic

  piano solong there, and then there was the poem that

  I was simultaneously reading there. Actually, the tune before that

  was called Shelter. That's where we started. Before I was

  known as Daniel X. I think I was the Portuguese

  elf Man, not Danny Elfman. As for the meaning of
• 39:49
  the poem, it was really this idea of analog technology,
• 39:58
  things that were natural sort of producing sound and producing music.

  But then it descends into this sort of participatory concert
• 40:12
  slash orgy or something, and it's presented as a good thing,
• 40:18
  and what the heck is a breather? I mean, I
• 40:22
  wrote it to be purposefully vague, open to interpretation. I
• 40:31
  look back on it now when I read it, and
• 40:33
  it's funny to me. I was such a new age
• 40:37
  weirdo Carlos Castaneda guy or something. I was reading a
• 40:41
  lot of Joseph Campbell and stuff like that, Carl Jung
• 40:48
  and trying to be random and archetypal, and none of
• 40:53
  that really worked out. And when I read this stuff now,
• 40:56
  I'm like, man, I was delusional and depressed. I don't know.
• 41:04
  Let's see if this meshes here, Okay, with this idea
• 41:10
  of the fringe Christian. See the fringe Christian, This fringe
• 41:15
  Christian God his heartbroken many times, let me tell you.
• 41:24
  But I also found love and of family and created
• 41:29
  another human being. Again, I apologize, storms whipped itself up outside.

  This is the way of the fringe Christian. Some even
• 41:51
  dispute the term fringe. Some consider us a cult, which
• 41:57
  is odd because we're just Christians of a variety of
• 42:03
  denominations who also happen to be truth seekers. I want
• 42:11
  to know the hidden history. I want to know about
• 42:16
  the transhumanist future, the alien overlords are creating to captivate us.
• 42:25
  Captivate interesting word, to hold captive. We look at parallels
• 42:37
  in the ways that God has chosen to interact with us.
• 42:43
  The Jews were held captive. They became captivated by the
• 42:47
  little g gods of their neighbors, and they stopped following
• 42:55
  the God of their fathers and their father's fathers. Then
• 43:04
  they became subjugated by their neighbors. As a consequence, all
• 43:09
  throughout their history, when the Jews stopped worshiping Yahweh Yahweh,
• 43:17
  allowed the invasions, the administration of their lands to fall
• 43:21
  under other powers, the expulsions, the slavery, the captivity. Except
• 43:31
  for the brief period of time perhaps during the conquest
• 43:34
  of the Holy Land, the Jews are repeatedly portrayed in
• 43:41
  their own scripture as a stubborn, foolish people. Why spiritual adultery.
• 43:54
  The Bible is not a hero's journey. It's not a
• 43:58
  Greek epic poem. It's quite unlike the Babylonian or Sumerian epics,
• 44:07
  or the Vedic or the Chinese or the Arabian or
• 44:12
  anything else. In other words, if you were just writing
• 44:20
  your mythology, wouldn't you portray your own people as heroic, victorious, untainted,
• 44:30
  But no, they're portrayed as human beings with vices, deeply
• 44:36
  flawed people, evil people in many respects. You know, you
• 44:42
  start off with bad king, then you get a good king,
• 44:48
  good king. A good king's gone.
• 44:50
  Speaker 4: Bad bad king, bad king, good king, bad king, bad.

  Speaker 5: King in the New Testament as well. So how much

  more reliable is the Bible as an accurate account as
• 45:09
  an inspired account, an account that's rooted more in history.

  The way of the fringe Christian may be to read
• 45:28
  between the lines, so to speak, to view the Bible
• 45:35
  through the eyes of those inspired writers, and to rightly
• 45:40
  divide the word of truth. So we're not a cult,
• 45:48
  but we recognize the occult and the adversary in the darkness.

  the prophets of God are chosen for the purpose of

  part of, or if it's adding to divine revelation that's

  already been provided to us through the scriptures and through

  who are thirsty cutting in line to get the biggest

  piece of bread, and Paul has some pretty stern words

  for them. You know, you shouldn't be participating in this

  if you're gonna be a fool and unrepentant or whatever.

  people that worked closely with him. There's no doubt in

  my mind that this was an assassination. I'm not saying

  this was a staged event. I don't know about that

  things could just synchronistically be happening, but certainly I believe

  it's clear he was targeted because he was a Christian

  who had no fear in you know, being an apologist
• 1:44:27
  for his faith and who actually reached out to the opposition,

  allowed them to speak their mind, didn't just ridicule them
• 1:44:43
  and put them down. And he went right into Mordoor,

  you know, going to these super woke liberal universities and
• 1:44:57
  basically mopping the floor with these college kids, and despite that,

  managed to connect with young people, managed to gain quite

  a following. So I will give that to the man.

  I mean, his shirt said freedom on it, and in

  some sense I think it had to be Charlie because

  he was the one guy that would have a civil

  discussion about something and was very gracious to the opposition.

  So he wasn't an extremist, despite what's been said about him,

  what he's been accused of on the internet. I've I've

  seen posts, I've heard comments and remarks from people far

  more extreme than Charlie Kirk, but they're still alive and

  trolling all across the internet, you know. And not that

  I didn't have some criticisms of TPUSA, you know, Conservative, inc.

  But it just means he was one of the bigger
• 1:46:34
  names out there. And so I'm not going to take

  anything away from him. Why because he's probably brought a

  lot more people to Jesus than I have. And I

  don't really know what his particular, you know, beliefs are.

  But there was a lot of mixing of politics and religion.

  But in a sense, there always has been. But I

  think the big takeaway from this and what they want

  you to understand, if you're a Christian, if you're a

  believer of whatever denomination, that bullet eventually is going to
• 1:47:32
  be for you. It's a culture war, it's a spirit war.

  It's going to eventually lead to physical war, civil war,

  and of course that's what they want. This seemed to

  be perfectly timed, like shooting a powder, perfectly timed to

  infuriate the right, who I think has been a little

  let down by the current administration. And I think we

  all feel that frustration pretty much. I've felt that frustration

  for everybody that I've ever voted for, you know, and

  turns out we're not going to get any justice when

  it comes to the Epstein stuff, when it comes to

  you know, the Clintons, when it comes to Russia Gate,

  when it comes to any of this, nobody's going to prison.

  And so honestly, I've been checked out of politics largely.

  I do monitor the geopolitical situation, but my soul is

  not as engaged in that sort of discussion because I recognize,

  you know, the powers and principalities at play here or

  at war here, spiritual wars reflected in physical war, and

  it just feels like we're scrambling towards chaos. And you know,

  wouldn't it be ironic if it were the Trump administration

  that ushered in this AI technocratic pallunteer con troll grid system.

  I mean, really, he's taken his base and giving them

  all whiplash. So in a way, whether this guy is

  a patsy or you know, wasn't the real shooter, or

  whether these texts or emails are real or not, those

  are all valid questions, and I don't think we're ever

  gonna know the truth. Just like every other shooting incident,

  we I mean, we are hurtling toward the apocalypse. I

  mean it certainly feels that way like the Singularity, where

  we're going to reach a stage here very quickly where

  this technology is going to outpace us. We already can't

  tell the difference between AI imaging and AI videos and

  AI enhanced videos. So my point is, if your overlords

  can get us fighting over left versus right, liberal versus conservative,

  Republican democrat, I mean, they got you. And if they

  can get you afraid, if they can make you angry,

  they can manipulate your emotions. They could get conservatives and

  evangelicals to back gun restrictions for trans people or you know,

  mass surveillance Internet IDs and you'll go along with it.

  So just some things to think about. Obviously, it's a tragedy.

  You could argue he was martyred for his faith and

  I just think about his family and his children, and

  the ones who raised them. That's why they turned out
