- 0:26Speaker 1: the tomorrow morning. That was your plan.
- 0:28Speaker 3: You're gonna show it tomorrow morning as well? Well, I
- 0:31Speaker 3: mean two days later. Yeah, probably you're a smooth today.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Easy? Yeah, I don't shave, you know all the way
- 0:38Speaker 2: down I.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Even I haven't even showered today.
- 0:43Speaker 2: You look yeah, we can tell you look like a scarecrow. Yeah, totally. Man.
- 0:48Speaker 2: You wait and you see me in shorts, just a
- 0:50Speaker 2: motion mesh of clothes at someone's.
- 0:53Speaker 1: I got home and things happened. I was meant to
- 0:56Speaker 1: have a shower and I just didn't have time.
- 0:58Speaker 2: You're not shower since golf?
- 0:59Speaker 1: No, I squirted some smelly shit on me, you know
- 1:03Speaker 1: what I mean? Yeah, Mogi magie mate.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Okay, fellas, So this week I think it was Monday
- 1:11Speaker 2: or Sunday. I woke up with real sore kidneys or
- 1:17Speaker 2: left kidney. Yes, and just tried to walk, you know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: walk it off, walk it off, you know me easy
- 1:24Speaker 2: on my backbone. Yeah, so real, And then it seemed
- 1:29Speaker 2: to get better over the course of the day, and
- 1:30Speaker 2: then it would be it's a constant ache. But sometimes
- 1:34Speaker 2: especially in the morning when you wake up, Oh fuck
- 1:36Speaker 2: it now like really sore, but I barely feel I
- 1:40Speaker 2: guess because I am as I said, key, you remember
- 1:43Speaker 2: a backbone. And so that's been going on all week
- 1:47Speaker 2: and I just I got to today and with you know,
- 1:51Speaker 2: considering we're going to Fiji tomorrow, and thought, do I
- 1:53Speaker 2: really want to be suffering from something severe, a severe
- 1:56Speaker 2: health emergency when I'm in Fiji, when I'm in the island.
- 2:00Speaker 3: A trip I went on recently. It was a couple
- 2:02Speaker 3: of years ago. A woman had a severe health injury
- 2:06Speaker 3: whilst in Figi.
- 2:07Speaker 2: Somebody died of a stub toe when I was there.
- 2:10Speaker 3: She got something in her eye which turned into a
- 2:13Speaker 3: severe eye in fiction and then she was took an eye.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Not that she didn't get ejaculate in her im you
- 2:20Speaker 3: come on, man, you are sick, but yeah, she she
- 2:24Speaker 3: had to taken to our IRB boat ride back to
- 2:26Speaker 3: the mainland, went to hospital they then had to she
- 2:28Speaker 3: was sharing a room with a dead person on one
- 2:32Speaker 3: of the gurneys.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Wow.
- 2:35Speaker 3: She then had to be flown back to Auckland on
- 2:39Speaker 3: the floor exactly. And then she flew back to Auckland
- 2:42Speaker 3: and then they could properly look at her eye and
- 2:43Speaker 3: they told her that she's going to be blind for
- 2:45Speaker 3: like a year and it might not even come right.
- 2:47Speaker 3: And that was one of our friends. So you definitely
- 2:51Speaker 3: don't want to do anything. Yeah, yeah, well I'm not
- 2:53Speaker 3: on the bright side. So anyway, I didn't want to
- 2:56Speaker 3: do that. So I went to the doctor today and
- 3:00Speaker 3: I just had them. I said, look, I just want
- 3:01Speaker 3: to get a blood test in a urine test, just
- 3:04Speaker 3: to see where things are at. He could did it there,
- 3:06Speaker 3: and then so I said, urine is all tickety booth.
- 3:09Speaker 3: There's no concerns and there except that that there are
- 3:11Speaker 3: traces of blood, which means you've probably got kidney stones.
- 3:17Speaker 3: Kidney stones, so that goes and it's sharp and it
- 3:21Speaker 3: cuts the inside of your kidney, which leads to bleeding
- 3:23Speaker 3: obviously and shows in your urine.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Oh wow. And then now that I've thought about it,
- 3:27Speaker 2: that is actually the pain that I'm feeling which is
- 3:29Speaker 2: what I had, because you've had it before six years ago.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I had it before, and I've just done a little
- 3:33Speaker 2: search and whether it's draw or not. But on chet GPT,
- 3:35Speaker 2: if you've got polycystic kidney's like I do, apparently you've
- 3:37Speaker 2: got more chance of getting kidney stones. So that is
- 3:41Speaker 2: good shit. Now, if there's a time you want it,
- 3:44Speaker 2: it's right before you go away from ten days to Fiji,
- 3:47Speaker 2: because when I tell you the pain of this, of
- 3:49Speaker 2: these things, yes, it is absolutely beyond belief. Beyond belief. Now.
- 3:56Speaker 2: I when I first I was just telling jose about this.
- 3:59Speaker 2: But when I got these the first time, I'd been
- 4:02Speaker 2: working myself to the bone, working on paranormal when it
- 4:06Speaker 2: was a paranormal all night. Then I come home, Jason
- 4:08Speaker 2: and I had done talkback. We were giving notes, so
- 4:10Speaker 2: I give notes on the edit during the day and
- 4:12Speaker 2: then I'd sleep for about three hours a day. And
- 4:14Speaker 2: that was for six weeks. Finally finished. On the last
- 4:19Speaker 2: day I had to be I was showing my daughter
- 4:21Speaker 2: how to do a headstand and I wasn't even halfway
- 4:23Speaker 2: through my beer and I was like, oh the fuck,
- 4:25Speaker 2: what's that man? And I went up to the bedroom
- 4:27Speaker 2: to get away from the missus because I didn't wanted
- 4:29Speaker 2: to see me in pain, because she'd never seen that before,
- 4:31Speaker 2: because you're a backbone, because I'm a fucking backbone. Yeah. Anyway,
- 4:35Speaker 2: I just thought it'll pass. And then I got to
- 4:37Speaker 2: the point I was like, ah, fuck, they're going to
- 4:39Speaker 2: have to go to the hospital. So grabs that. She
- 4:42Speaker 2: goes do you want to get an ambulance? I was like, nah,
- 4:44Speaker 2: an ambulance are more good. So we jumped in the
- 4:46Speaker 2: elevator because we were standing in apartments. Went By the
- 4:48Speaker 2: time I got to the bottom floor, I said, give
- 4:51Speaker 2: me a fucking ambulance man, which is out the gate. Yes,
- 4:53Speaker 2: Then they on the phone to the ambulance. By the
- 4:56Speaker 2: time they eventually I said, you don't need an ambulance.
- 4:59Speaker 2: You need to be dead before you can get an
- 5:01Speaker 2: ambulance of Wellington, So that was good. Went there, put
- 5:05Speaker 2: me on a morphine drip, which was amazing, Yes, fucking amazing,
- 5:11Speaker 2: and then normally you pass it really quickly, but I
- 5:13Speaker 2: didn't the next and then they let me out the
- 5:16Speaker 2: next morning it had gone and then had come back.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Later that day. They put me back on the morphine drip.
- 5:22Speaker 2: It didn't touch the sides. So a class opiate de
- 5:29Speaker 2: pumped into Yeah, and it didn't even knock even a
- 5:33Speaker 2: minuscule edge off the pane. You should have got an epigurial, man,
- 5:37Speaker 2: I should have got my head chopped off, I remember.
- 5:40Speaker 2: But get the filled spine.
- 5:41Speaker 1: M I remember one of our teachers at our school
- 5:44Speaker 1: had them, and he was a really mild man of do,
- 5:50Speaker 1: and he said when he was talking about them afterwards,
- 5:53Speaker 1: it was fucking agony. Yeah, because you've got to imagine
- 5:57Speaker 1: like a stony crystal lea kind of little blob. They're
- 6:02Speaker 1: just going through the veins, and that.
- 6:07Speaker 2: The problem is ultimately it's in the kidneys and so
- 6:09Speaker 2: it's trying to get out, but it's making its way
- 6:11Speaker 2: into your urethra, which is in your penis coming and
- 6:14Speaker 2: you've got to pass it out. So it's going up,
- 6:16Speaker 2: you know, down your fucking piss hole and scratching the
- 6:20Speaker 2: fuck out of your urethroat. So sometimes they can bet.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Also sometimes they can be so big, and they can
- 6:26Speaker 2: tell this from a scan that they have to laser
- 6:30Speaker 2: them in your body because they will not make it
- 6:32Speaker 2: so it will not make its way. Sorry. So what
- 6:35Speaker 2: I was trying to do today was get a scan
- 6:38Speaker 2: an ultrasound to find out if I've got them and
- 6:41Speaker 2: also what size they are. But I couldn't get them
- 6:44Speaker 2: because they're full up because the time is what is
- 6:47Speaker 2: it recording for you? So I couldn't get in there.
- 6:50Speaker 2: So I'm just going to Fiji and hopefu. Yeah, the whole.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Chey b show wee days from four on Radio Hurdarchy,
- 7:01Speaker 3: the Lacking Big Show podcast.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Apparently, if you when you pass them, if you put
- 7:06Speaker 1: a little ciev there. I was just thinking, when you
- 7:09Speaker 1: capture the barcards, they are worth a bomb and they
- 7:12Speaker 1: make like rings and shot out. U.
- 7:14Speaker 2: No, that's right. Now. Listen to this. A study comparing
- 7:17Speaker 2: renal colock, which is the pain from a kidney stone
- 7:20Speaker 2: kezy versus childbirth. Yeah, because I've heard that this is
- 7:24Speaker 2: the same as childbirth, found that among women who had
- 7:27Speaker 2: experienced both childbirth and kidney stones, sixty three percent said
- 7:33Speaker 2: that kidney stone pain was worse than childbirth, and sixteen
- 7:37Speaker 2: percent said the two were similar. So you're talking about
- 7:41Speaker 2: four out of five people say it's as bad or
- 7:44Speaker 2: worse than childbirth.
- 7:45Speaker 1: Would I would imagine, and you know, because I don't
- 7:47Speaker 1: know if you guys know this. I'm not a woman,
- 7:50Speaker 1: but that childbirth would be a kind of generic, wavy,
- 7:55Speaker 1: generic throbbing pain, whereas your kidney stone would be a weary, sharp,
- 8:01Speaker 1: gnarly specific pain.
- 8:03Speaker 2: The other thing is that you know when child birth
- 8:05Speaker 2: is over because you've got a baby, yes, but you
- 8:09Speaker 2: don't really know when when you're at no point knew
- 8:12Speaker 2: that it was over.
- 8:13Speaker 3: Can you start personing into a sieve? And now that
- 8:16Speaker 3: rings a belly? I think that's what I did.
- 8:18Speaker 2: So every time I went for a purse, I had
- 8:20Speaker 2: to pers into a sieve so they could tell her
- 8:22Speaker 2: if I passed it or not. That's good. Yeah, that's
- 8:26Speaker 2: a good idea. The colander has probably got too big
- 8:28Speaker 2: a hole in it someone's hand. Yeah, I'll catch it.
- 8:34Speaker 2: I'll catch it.
- 8:35Speaker 3: Can you person into a sieve and then once you're
- 8:37Speaker 3: done with it, like take the little thing?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 8:39Speaker 3: And did you just hide it in one of Jason's
- 8:41Speaker 3: salt grinders?
- 8:44Speaker 2: Just not tell them? And it's uric ur after a year.
- 8:49Speaker 3: But like, hey, Jason, you've been having plenty of salt
- 8:51Speaker 3: lately and yeah, why yeah, I.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Guess what that was my?
- 8:54Speaker 1: Yeah, because because I carry around and have with me
- 8:57Speaker 1: at all times.
- 8:58Speaker 2: A salt shaker, do you that's Christmas?
- 9:01Speaker 3: My pop used to do that, really, salt and pepper
- 9:04Speaker 3: and his jacket pocket whenever he went out for dinner
- 9:06Speaker 3: or anywhere, because he's from that that generation no longer
- 9:11Speaker 3: with us, but he's from the generation where all.
- 9:13Speaker 2: They ate was just like boiled meat.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yes, it's so like when pepper and salt came out,
- 9:18Speaker 3: it was like you fucking put heaps of it on. Yeah,
- 9:21Speaker 3: but that's that sucks smoking man.
- 9:22Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not great, man. It rob be great. Was
- 9:25Speaker 2: if I had it happen after I got back, Yeah, totally.
- 9:28Speaker 3: But after the ten days, it reminded me of when
- 9:32Speaker 3: we were going to Hoodie J's batch and then you
- 9:34Speaker 3: got sick the day before. I mean obviously it was
- 9:37Speaker 3: double booked and we had a ship time.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean I won. You won, definitely, you
- 9:41Speaker 2: won on that occasion, man. But it reminds me of that,
- 9:44Speaker 2: and it's a damn shame. I mean, I'll be honest
- 9:47Speaker 2: with you. The pain isn't so bad that I can't
- 9:48Speaker 2: drink through it. I was gonna say very clear about that.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Drink through it, yeah, will be well.
- 9:53Speaker 1: I imagine the alcohol will dissipate it.
- 9:56Speaker 2: We'll make it worse. We're going to find out one
- 9:59Speaker 2: way or the other. But yeah, I guess the longest
- 10:01Speaker 2: it can go for a couple of days. But what
- 10:04Speaker 2: I am worried about is golf. So I think I'm
- 10:06Speaker 2: probably just going to drive. I don't want to make it.
- 10:10Speaker 2: I don't want to exacerbate it. Expeedy eight.
- 10:13Speaker 3: Right, So that'll be interesting because that means is three
- 10:16Speaker 3: and two.
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'll still be I'll be out. Okay, I'll drive. I'm
- 10:20Speaker 2: assuming we've got buggies. No, we definitely will you. Yeah,
- 10:24Speaker 2: so I'll be I'll be involved with that for sure. Yeah, okay, cool.
- 10:26Speaker 2: But also I'm almost tempted to just go hard and
- 10:30Speaker 2: then just have it happen and it'll be done in
- 10:32Speaker 2: a couple of days, you know.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely still take the club, see how it goes.
- 10:35Speaker 3: And yeah, oh.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Wow, might put your pudding off a little bit though,
- 10:41Speaker 1: if you're passing a kidney stone, you've got Jason.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Padding. I hate it.
- 10:50Speaker 3: Come on, man, it's all g Listen is the Big
- 10:52Speaker 3: Show four or seven weekdays on Radio Hdarky on Radio
- 10:55Speaker 3: Hdarchy's Radio hod Ah
