- 0:00Speaker 1: Fly from Midtown Manhattan. Here comes the Mark Simone Show
- 0:05Speaker 1: on seven.
- 0:07Speaker 2: On Hey, we got a lot to get to today.
- 0:12Speaker 2: The war crimes hoax, it's almost over, so Malia unbelievable fraud.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We'll get to the Christmas tree lighting. We'll get to
- 0:19Speaker 2: the New York Times. We'll get to Luigi Mangeon. You
- 0:22Speaker 2: know it's a year ago. It's the one year anniversary
- 0:26Speaker 2: of that horrible shooting. We'll get to Mom, Donnie and
- 0:28Speaker 2: Net and Yahoo, and we'll get to Trump's arrangement syndrome,
- 0:32Speaker 2: new research coming out about it. We'll get to Christmas
- 0:35Speaker 2: parties and a whole lot more so. The the Democrats
- 0:41Speaker 2: trying everything. You notice they abandoned Epstein. You haven't heard
- 0:44Speaker 2: them mentioned Epstein in two three weeks. They gave up
- 0:47Speaker 2: on that. It didn't test well, it didn't focus group well,
- 0:49Speaker 2: it wasn't working. They think the war crimes hoax, this
- 0:53Speaker 2: will take down the entire Trump administration, or at least
- 0:58Speaker 2: get rid of Pete Hexath. It will do neither of
- 1:00Speaker 2: those things. Hex Off is fine. He's not going anywhere, obviously.
- 1:06Speaker 2: If you're going to blow up a drug boat, a
- 1:08Speaker 2: coke boat, a narco boat, as they call him if
- 1:11Speaker 2: you're going after the car, tell to blow up the boat.
- 1:13Speaker 2: You drop a lot of bombs, not one. This new ridiculous,
- 1:17Speaker 2: preposterous Democrat rule that you're only allowed to one bomb,
- 1:22Speaker 2: one bomb. If you don't get him with the one bomb,
- 1:24Speaker 2: that's it doesn't make any sense. Anybody in the history
- 1:29Speaker 2: of warfare, any general, any leader, will tell you you
- 1:32Speaker 2: drop a lot of bombs and try to wipe them out.
- 1:35Speaker 2: President Trump is just kind of laughing at this. He
- 1:38Speaker 2: kind of enjoys this. He likes when the Democrats come
- 1:41Speaker 2: up with a hoax where he knows it's not going
- 1:44Speaker 2: to work, and in the end it'll fizzle out. What's
- 1:46Speaker 2: today Thursday, They'll try it one last time. They'll try
- 1:51Speaker 2: it for another couple of days. They'll do it on
- 1:53Speaker 2: the Sunday shows, and then that's it. That'll be the
- 1:55Speaker 2: end of the war crimes hoax. They'll see it's going nowhere,
- 1:58Speaker 2: doesn't work. Signal Chat. They're trying to bring that back
- 2:02Speaker 2: with the Inspector General's report that Pete hagsf did actually
- 2:10Speaker 2: violate used classified information on the signal Chat. What a violation. Now, actually,
- 2:16Speaker 2: if you look down on the fine print, it says,
- 2:19Speaker 2: it's not actually anything wrong, and the Secretary of Defense
- 2:23Speaker 2: had the power at any time to declassify anything, so
- 2:26Speaker 2: it's up to him what he puts up there. And
- 2:28Speaker 2: as far as using the signal gate app, the signal
- 2:31Speaker 2: app that was standard operating procedure in the Pentagon, it
- 2:35Speaker 2: was in the Pentagon Manual to use it. It was
- 2:37Speaker 2: just fine. So this Inspector General's report means absolutely nothing.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It's coming way too late. Nobody even remembers this signal thing.
- 2:46Speaker 2: These things mean absolutely nothing. But if you're the democratic
- 2:51Speaker 2: echo chamber, the media democratic echo chamber, MSNBC, CNN, you
- 2:56Speaker 2: need these kind of things. It's like doing a drama
- 3:00Speaker 2: on TV. You create these little subplots and you create
- 3:03Speaker 2: these little things to talk about. So it's MSNBC. They
- 3:08Speaker 2: got to fill twenty four hours a day. Ms now,
- 3:11Speaker 2: it's now ms NOW. So they create this nonsense and
- 3:14Speaker 2: they just keep talking about it. And all the old
- 3:16Speaker 2: ladies who are the big Trump Arrangement syndrome people, and
- 3:19Speaker 2: all the crazy left wingers can run around and talk
- 3:22Speaker 2: about this war crimes, signal Gate and yell and screaming
- 3:25Speaker 2: about this. Normal people don't know what the hell they're
- 3:28Speaker 2: talking about normal people are going to work, living their lives,
- 3:33Speaker 2: watching the football game. I didn't know anything about signal gate,
- 3:36Speaker 2: war crime, solks. What are you talking about? So it'll
- 3:39Speaker 2: go away now, you know, starting what's today, Yeah, next
- 3:44Speaker 2: week it starts where it gets into the really heavy
- 3:46Speaker 2: Christmas party season. And every day, if you're in Washington,
- 3:51Speaker 2: there's a million Christmas parties these people have to go to.
- 3:55Speaker 2: In Congress, in government, there's a million Christmas parties for
- 3:58Speaker 2: all the lobby the suppliers, the vendors, the contractors, that
- 4:03Speaker 2: all the people that they deal with. So they'll be
- 4:07Speaker 2: all snarled up and tied up for the next couple
- 4:09Speaker 2: of weeks with Christmas, and it's Congress, they take a
- 4:11Speaker 2: you know, like a million vacation days. They'll be gone
- 4:14Speaker 2: very early for Christmas, so you got another few days
- 4:18Speaker 2: and then they're all busy and gone and that's the
- 4:20Speaker 2: end of it. Nobody will be concentrating on anything. Even
- 4:23Speaker 2: the White House. There's a White House Christmas party every
- 4:26Speaker 2: night for the next couple of weeks, sometimes two or
- 4:29Speaker 2: three at night. They just do these NonStop Christmas parties.
- 4:33Speaker 2: So it's just about over Hey. The other big thing
- 4:34Speaker 2: is the Somalia story. The Somalian community in Minnesota, led
- 4:40Speaker 2: by Ilan Omar, committed massive fraud. It appears to be
- 4:45Speaker 2: a massive, massive fraud. A billion dollars went missing, and
- 4:49Speaker 2: all kinds of screen schemes, left wing schemes, pandemic schemes,
- 4:55Speaker 2: but all run by the crazy left wing of the
- 4:59Speaker 2: Minnesota Democrat. A lot of Somalians in there. They set
- 5:02Speaker 2: a billion dollars. But Mike Johnson, Congress is going to
- 5:05Speaker 2: look into this.
- 5:05Speaker 3: It's staggering. Tom Emmer, of course, is from Minnesota, and
- 5:09Speaker 3: he tells us that it may be as much as
- 5:11Speaker 3: two billion dollars in broader Minnesota. And Tim Wallas has
- 5:13Speaker 3: a lot to answer for it. And Congress has a
- 5:16Speaker 3: lot of interest in this, and we're going to track
- 5:17Speaker 3: it down. And I think I think the authorities will
- 5:19Speaker 3: as well.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yeah, so Congress will get to it. They'll be criminal charges.
- 5:24Speaker 2: Looks like it's going to be two billion, two billion.
- 5:26Speaker 2: He got the Somalian Democrats, Elon Omar and all these
- 5:29Speaker 2: people that did it. Now, of course they're Democrats. The
- 5:32Speaker 2: media will pay no attention to this, they'll bury the story,
- 5:36Speaker 2: never mention it. But you wonder when you watch Donald
- 5:41Speaker 2: Trump sometimes, why does he say these things? Well, why
- 5:43Speaker 2: does he have to talk like that? Well, sometimes it's
- 5:45Speaker 2: very strategic. So he started talking about Omar, Somalia, all
- 5:51Speaker 2: of this stuff, and he crossed the line.
- 5:54Speaker 4: She should be allowed to be a congresswoman. And I'm
- 5:57Speaker 4: sure people are looking at that, and she should be
- 5:59Speaker 4: throwing the hell out of our country and most of
- 6:02Speaker 4: those people they have destroyed Minnesota.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Okay, that's okay, now that part. See you stop right there. Yeah,
- 6:08Speaker 2: if you're that big of crook you're involved in that
- 6:10Speaker 2: bigger fraud, of course you should be thrown out of Congress.
- 6:12Speaker 2: And if it's that big of fraud in you the
- 6:13Speaker 2: frauded your community, of course you should be thrown out. Okay, there,
- 6:16Speaker 2: he's fine, But then he keeps going, We're.
- 6:19Speaker 4: Going to go the wrong way if we keep taking
- 6:21Speaker 4: in garbage into our country. Elan Omar is garbage. She's garbage,
- 6:26Speaker 4: Her friends are garbage. These are people that work. These
- 6:29Speaker 4: are people that say, let's go, come on, let's make
- 6:32Speaker 4: this place great. These are people that do nothing but complain.
- 6:36Speaker 4: They complain and from where they came from, they got nothing.
- 6:41Speaker 1: You know, if they.
- 6:42Speaker 5: Came from paradise, and they said, this isn't paradise. But
- 6:46Speaker 5: when they come from hell and they complain and do nothing,
- 6:51Speaker 5: but bitch, we don't want them in our country.
- 6:56Speaker 2: Okay, you're not supposed to talk like that if you're
- 6:58Speaker 2: the president. But it's brilliant what he's done there. Brilliant.
- 7:01Speaker 2: He's put the media, the left wing in a real bine.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Now to them, that's racist, ethnic slur, really over the top, wrong, disgusting.
- 7:14Speaker 2: You can't talk like it. So they want to go
- 7:15Speaker 2: after him on this. They want to really go after
- 7:17Speaker 2: him on that stuff. But to do that, they got
- 7:21Speaker 2: to publicize the Somalia scandal, the two billion fraud. They
- 7:26Speaker 2: wanted to bury the story and hide it now because
- 7:28Speaker 2: they want to use this stuff again, so they're going
- 7:30Speaker 2: to have to go after it. So he's put them
- 7:32Speaker 2: in a real trap where now they have to cover
- 7:36Speaker 2: this story. So now it will get attention. Now, it
- 7:38Speaker 2: will go before Congress. Now they'll be hearing so brilliant
- 7:42Speaker 2: on the part of Donald Trump. Now people will always
- 7:45Speaker 2: complain they were doing this before you got into politics.
- 7:48Speaker 2: I remember, for the twenty years before he was in politicy,
- 7:52Speaker 2: same thing. He'd say things that were over the top,
- 7:55Speaker 2: that were outrageous, and lets supposed to talk like that.
- 7:56Speaker 2: Why does he have to say these things? But I
- 8:01Speaker 2: was thinking about this yesterday. If you go back, you
- 8:02Speaker 2: know how, you're on Twitter or you're somewhere online, and
- 8:05Speaker 2: they show you these clips. Look at what Obama said
- 8:08Speaker 2: fifteen years ago, and he's talking about we must close
- 8:10Speaker 2: the border. We got to get rid of these illegals.
- 8:12Speaker 2: They'll always find these clips. God, check out my Twitter
- 8:15Speaker 2: right now. There's a clip of Bernie Sanders twenty years
- 8:18Speaker 2: ago sounding like Trump. But we got to get rid
- 8:21Speaker 2: of these illegals. We can't let them in. They're taking
- 8:23Speaker 2: jobs from America. So you see all these clips of
- 8:25Speaker 2: these Democrats, they try to show you how hypocritical they are.
- 8:29Speaker 2: That look what they said back then. They said the
- 8:31Speaker 2: same things Trump said. They said, but you have to
- 8:33Speaker 2: remember it. This is the real difference between the Democrats
- 8:37Speaker 2: and Trump. Democrats when they're running will always say the
- 8:41Speaker 2: right things. You watch Hillary when she was running, you
- 8:43Speaker 2: can see all this campaign video, and Bill Clinton and
- 8:46Speaker 2: Obama they said all the right stuff when they were running.
- 8:51Speaker 2: They said exactly what you want them to say, exactly
- 8:53Speaker 2: what they agree with you complete then they get elected
- 8:56Speaker 2: and they don't do any of it. They don't do nothing.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Trump is the opposite. He'll say all the wrong things,
- 9:02Speaker 2: but then he gets in office and he actually gets
- 9:04Speaker 2: everything done. He says all the things you shouldn't say,
- 9:08Speaker 2: but he gets it done. He gets the job done,
- 9:10Speaker 2: He does the right stuff. Democrats are the opposite. When
- 9:12Speaker 2: they're running, they'll say all the right stuff, tell you
- 9:14Speaker 2: all the right things. Then when they get office, don't
- 9:17Speaker 2: do a damn thing. It's like Mom Donnie with his affordability,
- 9:21Speaker 2: and you got a few of these, Mom Donnie's the
- 9:22Speaker 2: one that ran in Nashville. They'll run on affordability, affordability, affordability.
- 9:28Speaker 2: They watch when they get in office, they'll not only
- 9:30Speaker 2: do nothing about affordability, everything ends up costing more. They'll
- 9:33Speaker 2: do more damage to the problem. So that's just a
- 9:36Speaker 2: democratic thing. The same thing with Newsom. Look at Newsom.
- 9:39Speaker 2: He looks good, sounds good. He's out there saying all
- 9:41Speaker 2: the right stuff. Meantime he's completely screwing up the state.
- 9:44Speaker 2: You know, gas is three dollars an hour, three dollars
- 9:47Speaker 2: a gallon. That's the average in America right now. Three
- 9:50Speaker 2: dollars a gallon. In twenty five states, it's below three dollars.
- 9:55Speaker 2: In California it's six fifty seven dollars. This is Newsom
- 10:00Speaker 2: say all the right things but completely screw up. He's
- 10:03Speaker 2: got the worst numbers, the worst statistics, the worst affordability,
- 10:06Speaker 2: the worst job lost. But he says all the right things.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And for some reason that's fine with Democrats. They like that.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Now there's this new breed of Democrats among Donni's and
- 10:17Speaker 2: all these young they look good, sound good, their social
- 10:20Speaker 2: media influencers, they're great, they're charming, and all the new
- 10:25Speaker 2: Democratic voters are voting for this. They have no interest
- 10:28Speaker 2: in the old dinosaurs, these old you know, they look
- 10:30Speaker 2: at Chuck Schumer like he's a mummy, like he's an
- 10:33Speaker 2: old fossil, Like he's a like a corpse. They dug up.
- 10:37Speaker 2: He just looks a thousand years old. To them. He
- 10:39Speaker 2: looks ridiculously outdated, even when he agrees with him, even
- 10:42Speaker 2: if he's talking about the bombing of the ships.
- 10:45Speaker 6: If Trump were to order an attack on land, that
- 10:49Speaker 6: would be an act of war, and Congress would invoke
- 10:53Speaker 6: the War Powers Act. It's Congress's prerogative to.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Go to war.
- 10:59Speaker 6: And I hope Republicans will defend that role.
- 11:04Speaker 2: This is everything the new Democrats hate the voters now,
- 11:06Speaker 2: they hate this, oh, this old fossil. They want the
- 11:12Speaker 2: new breed, the Mom Donni's you know, Mom Donnie gets
- 11:14Speaker 2: on that social media and he talks a mile a minute,
- 11:16Speaker 2: and he sounds brilliant. He talks really fast, he's got
- 11:18Speaker 2: a great smile, he looks charming, good looking. And then
- 11:20Speaker 2: you got this old shumer with the rumpled up old suit,
- 11:24Speaker 2: the old man glasses that are all fogged up, and
- 11:28Speaker 2: reading it off index cards. You know, to younger voters,
- 11:30Speaker 2: they've never even seen an index card. They don't know
- 11:33Speaker 2: what the hell these things he's holding. They don't write
- 11:35Speaker 2: anything down. Everything's digital to them. They've never seen an
- 11:39Speaker 2: index card. They don't know what it is. Where you
- 11:41Speaker 2: would get such a thing. Hey, last night was the
- 11:43Speaker 2: Christmas tree lighting. I don't know what the fuss is
- 11:47Speaker 2: about a Christmas tree lighting. It's beautiful to see the tree.
- 11:50Speaker 2: You could walk over there right now, it's right over there,
- 11:52Speaker 2: Rockefeller Center. You see the tree. Magnificent, it's beautiful. But
- 11:56Speaker 2: the idea of watching the lighting of it, if you
- 11:59Speaker 2: went to someplace where they had beautiful lighting at a
- 12:02Speaker 2: restaurant and you walked, he say, wow, that's beautiful lighting.
- 12:05Speaker 2: Look at that. That's all you want to see? You
- 12:08Speaker 2: could you turn it off? I like to see you
- 12:09Speaker 2: turn it on. The idea of turning a light on it.
- 12:12Speaker 2: You want to see it on, you don't want to
- 12:13Speaker 2: see it often, then it's on. If this is that
- 12:16Speaker 2: fascinating to you to watch a tree lighting, and you
- 12:19Speaker 2: couldn't go to Rockefeller Center because you said there's ten
- 12:22Speaker 2: thousand people there, you can't get anywhere near there. It's
- 12:24Speaker 2: a myths. You can watch the tree lighting of the
- 12:26Speaker 2: Rockefeller Centered tree in person every morning at five am.
- 12:30Speaker 2: You know, they turn the lights off at midnight, then
- 12:33Speaker 2: they turn them back on at five am. So if
- 12:35Speaker 2: you want to see the tree lighting and Rockefeller Center
- 12:38Speaker 2: seven days a week, any morning, just go at five am.
- 12:41Speaker 2: I'll get there at ten of five or whatever, and
- 12:43Speaker 2: then you can see him turn the lights on. It's
- 12:45Speaker 2: not that exciting, but you can watch it. So this
- 12:48Speaker 2: stuff is getting bigger and bigger. More people watch this this.
- 12:51Speaker 2: You know they used to do the tree lighting and
- 12:54Speaker 2: then it would you know, videotape it and chop it
- 12:56Speaker 2: up and it would be this little special on Channel
- 12:58Speaker 2: four clock to seven thirty. Then it got bigger, went
- 13:03Speaker 2: to the network. All of a sudden, it was a
- 13:05Speaker 2: network show, not just Channel four, and it became like
- 13:08Speaker 2: an hour. Now it's like two hours, three hours. It's
- 13:10Speaker 2: like the Grammy Awards, twelve famous singers and roquettes and dancers.
- 13:14Speaker 2: It's a massive primetime special and it gets big ratings.
- 13:17Speaker 2: We didn't get the rating shit for last night, but
- 13:19Speaker 2: it'll be huge, you know. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
- 13:23Speaker 2: set a record this year. The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
- 13:28Speaker 2: got unbelievable ratings. I think it was twenty six million people,
- 13:32Speaker 2: which is like the most viewers for anything on television,
- 13:35Speaker 2: like in seven years. I think the last thing was
- 13:37Speaker 2: an Oscar show that did twenty six million. I mean
- 13:41Speaker 2: outside of a sports event, but unbelievable. How popular the
- 13:46Speaker 2: parade is. Hey, speaking of TV, Boston Blue just got
- 13:50Speaker 2: renewed for season two. That's the spinoff from the Great
- 13:54Speaker 2: show Blue Blood. So it's only been on. It was
- 13:57Speaker 2: the seventh show this week, eighth show. But it's got
- 14:00Speaker 2: big ratings. They've already renewed it for season two. Pretty good, hey,
- 14:04Speaker 2: the New York Times had this big summit yesterday at
- 14:07Speaker 2: Lincoln Center, the big conference with the huge audience, and
- 14:11Speaker 2: they had that wormy weasel Andrew Sorkin moderated, and they
- 14:18Speaker 2: had all kinds of big guest speakers. But we give
- 14:21Speaker 2: a lot of credit to Scott Bessant, the great Scott Bessant,
- 14:25Speaker 2: who told them off right to their face right at
- 14:28Speaker 2: the New York Times summit. He said, I don't even
- 14:31Speaker 2: read the New York Times anymore, and he called Andrew
- 14:34Speaker 2: Sorkin a pop historian, which is really an insulting to him.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Let me see if I have the clip here, this
- 14:41Speaker 2: is this is uh, this is bessn't at the New
- 14:45Speaker 2: York Times summit, you.
- 14:46Speaker 7: Had what was the greatest, one of the greatest scandals
- 14:49Speaker 7: of all time, that the coverage of the Biden administration,
- 14:53Speaker 7: Joe Biden's diminished capacity and the.
- 14:56Speaker 8: Cover up there to raise these questions. Where was in
- 15:00Speaker 8: New York Times.
- 15:01Speaker 7: We just had a three hour cabinet meeting yesterday, Andrew,
- 15:04Speaker 7: for ten months the Biden administration did not have a
- 15:08Speaker 7: cabinet meeting. How are you going to invote the twenty
- 15:11Speaker 7: fifth Amendment if the cabinet secretaries never see the president,
- 15:15Speaker 7: which they didn't.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Now you actually go to my Twitter. You got to
- 15:18Speaker 2: actually watch the clips because Andrew ross Serkin is squirming,
- 15:22Speaker 2: absolutely squirming. He's all upset and everything Best in this
- 15:26Speaker 2: saying it's driving him nuts. And at one point he says,
- 15:30Speaker 2: I just don't even read the New York Times anymore.
- 15:32Speaker 2: It's no longer the paper or record. This is right
- 15:34Speaker 2: at their Summit's a good for best and good job
- 15:37Speaker 2: on his part. Hey, Luigi Mans, you oon trial, as
- 15:41Speaker 2: I said, it's taking place, trying to get the evidence tossed.
- 15:43Speaker 2: He's got some pretty good lawyers and some legal experts
- 15:46Speaker 2: watch and say, these guys have I don't you know,
- 15:48Speaker 2: who knows if they'll win these arguments, but they got
- 15:51Speaker 2: some pretty good arguments to get evidence tossed out of there.
- 15:54Speaker 2: It's going to be It's an interesting case already because
- 15:56Speaker 2: it's been one year that's shooting. I remember we all
- 15:59Speaker 2: watched that vide remember the day had unfolded. It was
- 16:02Speaker 2: one year ago. But he's you know, it's democrats that
- 16:05Speaker 2: love him, so he's got fans and supporters cheering him
- 16:08Speaker 2: every time he comes in and out of the court.
- 16:11Speaker 2: This is a murderer, an executioner, an assassin. Democrats cheering him,
- 16:16Speaker 2: young democrats, you know, the whole nosering crowd. Women, they
- 16:19Speaker 2: love this guy. But it's a shooting. You know, if
- 16:23Speaker 2: you're in New York City, on the streets of New York,
- 16:26Speaker 2: you're on a surveillance camera. No matter where you are,
- 16:29Speaker 2: all of Manhattan, every inch is covered by surveillance cameras.
- 16:32Speaker 2: So he shoots the guy in the street and sidewalk
- 16:35Speaker 2: and it's all recorded. You can see him do it right.
- 16:38Speaker 2: So I don't know how he thinks he's gonna win
- 16:40Speaker 2: this case. I mean, we saw him do it right
- 16:42Speaker 2: on camera. But it's crazy New York City, crazy New
- 16:45Speaker 2: York judges, so who knows what could happen? Hey, well,
- 16:48Speaker 2: take some calls in just a minute. Eight hundred three
- 16:51Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight

- 17:01Speaker 1: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Now back to the month simone show on wor.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Hey, Let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 17:13Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 17:17Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Rich in
- 17:20Speaker 2: Myrtle Beach. Rich, How you doing pretty good?
- 17:23Speaker 8: Thanks?
- 17:23Speaker 9: Mark. You know, Trumps so far.
- 17:25Speaker 8: Ahead of these people.
- 17:26Speaker 9: You know, he's he's got Democrats and oppressed, defending drug terrorists,
- 17:30Speaker 9: defending some millions. He just keeps putting them in a
- 17:33Speaker 9: corner and they're just so stupid they can't even see it.
- 17:35Speaker 9: And then they got a kick out of Martha Radice
- 17:38Speaker 9: on ABC saying that the fishermen climbed back into the
- 17:41Speaker 9: boat and went communications with other drug deals. That's why
- 17:44Speaker 9: they got born up a second time. So she actually
- 17:46Speaker 9: blew up their own hopes. It was hysterical watching these
- 17:48Speaker 9: people the way they behave.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Yeah, she's one of the funniest it. Thanks for calling Rich.
- 17:52Speaker 9: This.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Martha Raddits is this old, worn out, weather beaten looking woman.
- 17:57Speaker 2: You see her. She's the Foreign spot, but she's lately
- 18:01Speaker 2: been the host of the Sunday Morning Show a lot,
- 18:04Speaker 2: and she's watching it yesterday. Well, there's definitely a war crime.
- 18:08Speaker 2: There's nobody that knows less about war crime rules than
- 18:11Speaker 2: Martha Radditt's. And the problem is they all live in
- 18:14Speaker 2: a bubble. All they know is big Trump, hating left wing, Washington,
- 18:18Speaker 2: DC swamp people. So if you live in this bubble
- 18:22Speaker 2: and you're hearing from the most biased people in the world,
- 18:24Speaker 2: you're never getting a straight story from anybody. So in
- 18:28Speaker 2: this echo chamber, it's all bobbleheads nodding at each other.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It just reinforces all these biases they have. Anyways, go
- 18:36Speaker 2: to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing. Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 18:42Speaker 8: I'm going to echo what Rich just said.
- 18:44Speaker 10: It's a less than a year away from the midterms
- 18:46Speaker 10: and the Democrats have Hitchdale wagon to a very odd
- 18:49Speaker 10: team of issues. Mangione, the Somali thieves, the Venezuelan drug runners,
- 18:57Speaker 10: the illegals in you know, my grading into the country,
- 19:03Speaker 10: you know, calling for insurrection for the army. You know
- 19:05Speaker 10: these basically stags are cool against against the president. And
- 19:09Speaker 10: it's incredible that the communism and it's.
- 19:14Speaker 9: The funny thing is none of those issues served their constituencies.
- 19:17Speaker 10: Their constituencies are the ones who were impacted most by
- 19:20Speaker 10: all of those supporting all of those things.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a good point, but this Trump derangement syndrome
- 19:27Speaker 2: has them all going crazy. And one of the problems
- 19:31Speaker 2: is years ago the Democrats hashed the plot, will take
- 19:34Speaker 2: over the universities, will put in the most radical left
- 19:37Speaker 2: wing professors, and then to be able to get away
- 19:40Speaker 2: with that, we'll put in all the most left wing
- 19:42Speaker 2: people on the board of trustees, left wing college presidents.
- 19:46Speaker 2: So they became these left wing, crazy, left wing doctrination centers,
- 19:50Speaker 2: and they raised generations of these people. Well, now that
- 19:52Speaker 2: they're all the voters, they have no interest in establishment Democrats.
- 19:56Speaker 2: They don't like Bill Clinton, they don't like Chuck Schumer,
- 20:00Speaker 2: they don't like these type of Democrats. They're young and
- 20:03Speaker 2: crazy and radical left, and that's what they like. So
- 20:06Speaker 2: they're going to vote for Mom Donnie. They're going to
- 20:08Speaker 2: vote for that crazy woman in Tennessee, and they're going
- 20:11Speaker 2: to go for this nonsense. And the only people that
- 20:13Speaker 2: are hanging on are like the crazy radicals, Bernie Sanders
- 20:17Speaker 2: sometimes Elizabeth Warren, although these two aren't going to do
- 20:21Speaker 2: quite as well because they are old, haggard looking people.
- 20:24Speaker 2: So you're going to see this shift to the left
- 20:27Speaker 2: just go crazy. Now, this always goes in cycles, so
- 20:30Speaker 2: at some point it might rebound. Twenty twenty six is
- 20:35Speaker 2: the last shot that Democrats have at taking out Trump.
- 20:38Speaker 2: They they've got to win in twenty twenty six to
- 20:42Speaker 2: stop him. At least if they win, he won't have
- 20:46Speaker 2: Congress on his side. If they have a Democratic Congress,
- 20:49Speaker 2: they'll come after him every second. They'll hold hearings every
- 20:52Speaker 2: minute into him. They'll impeach him every six months. That's
- 20:57Speaker 2: the only shot they got if they don't win in
- 20:59Speaker 2: twenty twenty And usually the opposing party wins in the midterm,
- 21:04Speaker 2: no matter how popular the president. So there's been a
- 21:07Speaker 2: couple of exceptions, and if this becomes one of those
- 21:09Speaker 2: exceptions and Trump hangs on to Congress, then you'll see
- 21:14Speaker 2: a real revolution of total mutiny in the Democratic Party.
- 21:18Speaker 2: This will be too many elections they've lost. Somebody will
- 21:21Speaker 2: rise up and try to rescue the party from the radicals.
- 21:24Speaker 2: That's what That's how Bill Clinton came about. They had
- 21:27Speaker 2: gone way too far to the left. He rose up
- 21:29Speaker 2: and was powerful enough as a speaker or a leader,
- 21:32Speaker 2: and he led them back to the center. So somebody
- 21:35Speaker 2: will have to do that. Here, Oh, Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook
- 21:41Speaker 2: Meta Instagram has just ordered everybody back to work every day,
- 21:47Speaker 2: back to work five days a week. You know, they
- 21:50Speaker 2: got used to working at home Obviously we all like
- 21:53Speaker 2: that working from home, but especially these young little tech idiots,
- 21:57Speaker 2: they really don't like to leave their house. Has ordered
- 22:01Speaker 2: everybody back to work. It's driving them nuts. Suddenly he's
- 22:05Speaker 2: Paully and goodfellas. I'm not saying you've gotta go back
- 22:07Speaker 2: this minute, but you gotta go back. You're gonna have
- 22:09Speaker 2: to go back. Let's go to Rupert in New York City. Rupert,
- 22:13Speaker 2: how you doing?
- 22:15Speaker 8: Hey? How you doing? You know?
- 22:16Speaker 9: I just don't understand how how New York City has
- 22:21Speaker 9: to end this sanctuary.
- 22:22Speaker 8: They have to end that, it has to put an
- 22:25Speaker 8: end to that.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Well, it's ridiculous, you're right, but good luck with that.
- 22:28Speaker 2: You got a democratic legislature, democratic city council. Sanctuary law
- 22:32Speaker 2: is ridiculous. It's what protects all the illegal criminals that
- 22:36Speaker 2: are here. Now, how did we end up with this
- 22:38Speaker 2: terrible sanctuary state law? How did we get this? Andrew Cuomo?
- 22:45Speaker 2: Another horrible thing he did in New York besides is
- 22:47Speaker 2: no bail, no jail, is closing the prisons. He's the
- 22:50Speaker 2: guy that signed this sanctuary state law that has completely
- 22:54Speaker 2: screwed up New York. Hey, when we come back, Roger
- 22:57Speaker 2: Friedman will be with us. Well, I saw him last night.
- 23:00Speaker 2: I'll tell you where in a moment on seven to
- 23:02Speaker 2: ten wr Hey. Roger Friedman, the great entertainment reporter. His
- 23:07Speaker 2: website if you should check it every day, there's always
- 23:09Speaker 2: good stories. Showbiz for one one dot com, Showbiz for
- 23:14Speaker 2: one one dot com. Roger Friedman, how you doing.
- 23:19Speaker 8: I'm great. It was fun seeing you last night, Mark.
- 23:21Speaker 2: Well, last night was you know, there was Elaines, the
- 23:24Speaker 2: great celebrity restaurant for fifty years. Last night was the
- 23:27Speaker 2: reunion of Elaines. The customers, the crowd.
- 23:31Speaker 8: But it was the fifteenth anniversary of Elaine's passing, which
- 23:36Speaker 8: she would be ninety five, I think, or ninety six.
- 23:38Speaker 8: But it's amazing the fifteen years have gone by and
- 23:42Speaker 8: the place where they had this event, called Hudson Malone
- 23:47Speaker 8: on its fifth forward fifty third Street, was packed, just
- 23:53Speaker 8: packed with people who'd been to Alan's an amazing situation.
- 23:58Speaker 8: She would have been so through well to see all
- 24:00Speaker 8: those people in there toasting her and you know, just
- 24:04Speaker 8: having a good time.
- 24:05Speaker 2: Except great crowd, but you know, we had seen these
- 24:08Speaker 2: people twenty years ago. Twenty five looked a lot older,
- 24:11Speaker 2: a lot of.
- 24:12Speaker 8: These people crowd. We didn't look at it old, but
- 24:17Speaker 8: they did.
- 24:19Speaker 2: But people always ask the same thing, Elaines. You could
- 24:22Speaker 2: go in there any night and was filled with famous faces, celebrities,
- 24:26Speaker 2: movie stars, all these making Why is there nothing like
- 24:30Speaker 2: that today?
- 24:32Speaker 8: You know, there might be somewhere, but people don't since
- 24:36Speaker 8: the pandemic in particular, people don't really go out anymore.
- 24:40Speaker 8: They did and it's packed, but Elaine's was a place
- 24:45Speaker 8: where he weren't really late at night. At the end
- 24:48Speaker 8: of the night, you would at ten or eleven o'clock,
- 24:50Speaker 8: when you were finished at theater or dinner or whatever,
- 24:53Speaker 8: you would say, let's go to LANs And that's what
- 24:56Speaker 8: made it special because people came pouring in very late
- 24:59Speaker 8: and stay t in the morning and it was, you know,
- 25:02Speaker 8: lots of great conversation. I just interviewed Woody Allen. It's
- 25:06Speaker 8: on my site on Showbiz four one one. I just
- 25:09Speaker 8: interviewed Woody Allen for his ninetieth birthday ninety and ninety
- 25:13Speaker 8: and we had it's a great interview. It's an hour
- 25:15Speaker 8: and a half and on video, and we talked about
- 25:18Speaker 8: Elaines and he said he even at the height of
- 25:22Speaker 8: his fame with any Hall and all that. He was
- 25:25Speaker 8: the least famous person in the restaurant, and he was
- 25:28Speaker 8: constantly meeting people. In fact, he met the philosopher Simone
- 25:31Speaker 8: de Bouvoir there, of all people. I mean, that's how
- 25:35Speaker 8: crazy it was where people came from all over the
- 25:38Speaker 8: world to be at Alams.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Yeah, sometimes you see the biggest Hollywood writers, but they
- 25:44Speaker 2: give you an awe because like the greatest figures in
- 25:47Speaker 2: Saul Bella would be there, and this guy.
- 25:50Speaker 8: So Robert Altman, a, Kurt Vonnegut and Joseph Heller and
- 25:54Speaker 8: all kinds of people like that. I'm at Urdigen and
- 25:58Speaker 8: movie stars came in all the time. I used to
- 26:01Speaker 8: sit late at night with Dapney Coleman when he was
- 26:03Speaker 8: in town, and all kinds of great One night I
- 26:07Speaker 8: met Greg Olman in there. That was amazing. And Phil
- 26:10Speaker 8: Spector on my fortieth birthday. Phil Spector came in and
- 26:14Speaker 8: he had like ten bodyguards, all with holsters and guns.
- 26:19Speaker 8: And Elaine said to me, go talk to him, and
- 26:23Speaker 8: I'm like, I'm right, what are you talking about? He
- 26:25Speaker 8: has ten bodyguards. She goes, just go on over and
- 26:28Speaker 8: say hi. So I did, and I had a good
- 26:30Speaker 8: interview with him.
- 26:31Speaker 2: Although I remember him one night he punched somebody who
- 26:33Speaker 2: did he punch? He got no fight there one night?
- 26:36Speaker 8: Did he really? Yeah? Not so there occasionally there were fights.
- 26:39Speaker 8: And last night in front of the bar, which is
- 26:42Speaker 8: a very nice place, this restaurant, there was some kind
- 26:45Speaker 8: of fight on the street, on the sidewalk. It was
- 26:50Speaker 8: just like a Lane's. It was like in honor of Elaane.
- 26:54Speaker 2: So you know what, here's why there's no big celebrity
- 26:57Speaker 2: residence where you're going. There's a million sire nowadays, there's
- 27:01Speaker 2: no celebrities that everybody would know, you know, like if
- 27:03Speaker 2: I read paid six, I don't know who any of
- 27:04Speaker 2: these people.
- 27:05Speaker 8: Are, and now well there's somebody you know. First of all,
- 27:11Speaker 8: celebrities aren't valued sort of the same way now, like
- 27:14Speaker 8: the movie studios want to have paid influencers come to
- 27:19Speaker 8: the red carpet. They walk the red carpet. You've never
- 27:21Speaker 8: heard of these people before in your life. They're dressed
- 27:24Speaker 8: very strangely, and then they're supposed to be promoting the
- 27:28Speaker 8: movies to their followers. Well, these people are not celebrities,
- 27:32Speaker 8: and it's very peculiar to see them at all these movies.
- 27:35Speaker 8: There's this happened this week about two different two or
- 27:38Speaker 8: three different premieres where no one knew who these people were. Yeah,
- 27:43Speaker 8: this is what this is what the studios want now.
- 27:45Speaker 8: They don't care whether you know candiceburg and let's say
- 27:50Speaker 8: I'm just using her as an example, or or any
- 27:53Speaker 8: you know, famous movie star comes to the red carpet.
- 27:56Speaker 8: They want someone who's on TikTok.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Yeah, because you know in Kandasbergen or Clint Eastood, whoever,
- 28:02Speaker 2: or half the world doesn't know who these people are anymore.
- 28:05Speaker 8: Yeah, that's very peculiar. I can't imagine that that's the case,
- 28:09Speaker 8: but I'm sure it probably is. And they're only in
- 28:12Speaker 8: you know, during the summer, there was this movie with
- 28:15Speaker 8: Austin Butler, and outside on the red carpet, it was
- 28:21Speaker 8: a beautiful night and there were tons of these people
- 28:24Speaker 8: walking around in costumes. Finally we said to them, who
- 28:27Speaker 8: are you? What is all this? And while we were
- 28:30Speaker 8: talking to them on the street, fans were coming up
- 28:34Speaker 8: to the people on the street who had nothing to
- 28:36Speaker 8: do with the movie premiere. We're coming up to them
- 28:38Speaker 8: and saying, oh, I watch you all the time, like
- 28:41Speaker 8: you watch them all the time, what do they do
- 28:44Speaker 8: you know they don't really do anything. It's a different world. Yeah,
- 28:49Speaker 8: you know, it's just a different world because of the
- 28:51Speaker 8: phones and the social media and the access.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Hey well, Avery, watch Roger Freeman's interview with Woody Allen
- 28:58Speaker 2: on his site showbiz for one one dot com. So
- 29:01Speaker 2: tell us more about what he owned. Is he in
- 29:03Speaker 2: good spirits? Is he looking?
- 29:04Speaker 8: He's in great spirits. He's in good shape, he told
- 29:09Speaker 8: I got him to tell a story he had told
- 29:11Speaker 8: me a long time ago when he was a stand
- 29:13Speaker 8: up comedian and he didn't want to be a stand
- 29:16Speaker 8: up comedian, but he signed on. He had been a writer,
- 29:18Speaker 8: you know, for your show, show Sid Caesar and all
- 29:21Speaker 8: that stuff. And he got an agent and the agent said,
- 29:26Speaker 8: we don't represent writers, we only represent performers. So you
- 29:29Speaker 8: have to go out and do stand up comedy routine
- 29:31Speaker 8: around the country. And he didn't want to do it,
- 29:34Speaker 8: and they sent him out. And you know, he plays
- 29:36Speaker 8: the clarinet. He plays it now and played it then.
- 29:39Speaker 8: And he used to bring his records with him to
- 29:43Speaker 8: the hotel rooms, but he needed a record player. So
- 29:47Speaker 8: in each city he would be at the city for
- 29:49Speaker 8: a week or two weeks. He would buy a new
- 29:51Speaker 8: record player and put it in the room and play
- 29:54Speaker 8: his records and come back from the clubs. He wasn't
- 29:57Speaker 8: like the kind of comedian who stays out all night drinking.
- 29:59Speaker 8: He comes back into the room, practices the clarinet, and
- 30:03Speaker 8: then when he's finished in the city, he leaves the
- 30:05Speaker 8: record player there.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 8: Now, so he left dozens of record players around the country.
- 30:10Speaker 2: People, people under thirty are going, what the hell are
- 30:13Speaker 2: they talking about? What's a record player?
- 30:14Speaker 8: What's there's a record player? Well, you know, he also
- 30:19Speaker 8: writes on an underwood manual typewriter. You kidd, No, He's
- 30:24Speaker 8: written every single thing he's ever written on the same typewriter.
- 30:28Speaker 8: He's never seen a computer. I've seen I have this
- 30:31Speaker 8: and I've taken a nice picture of him in his
- 30:33Speaker 8: office with the with the with the typewriter. He goes
- 30:38Speaker 8: to I said, how do you get the ribbons? He says, well,
- 30:41Speaker 8: I go down I go down the Union Square. There's
- 30:44Speaker 8: some little store still there that's selling the ribbons to
- 30:48Speaker 8: this typewriter from seventy four years ago when he got it. Wow,
- 30:52Speaker 8: isn't that amazing?
- 30:53Speaker 2: Yeah, New York go watch this interview. It's on Showbiz
- 30:56Speaker 2: fo one dot com. Hey, did you know Olivia Newsey?
- 31:00Speaker 2: Did you ever work with her?
- 31:01Speaker 8: No? I never knew her. You know, her book is out.
- 31:04Speaker 8: It's a Littal failure. It's like number ten thousand or
- 31:08Speaker 8: something on Amazon. Nobody wants to buy it. It's the
- 31:11Speaker 8: kind of thing that's like a media story. It's just
- 31:14Speaker 8: for media gossip. Regular people who are listening to this
- 31:17Speaker 8: don't care about it. But Olivia Newsy apparently was writing
- 31:21Speaker 8: a profile of Robert Kennedy Junior last year for New
- 31:25Speaker 8: York Magazine, and she was having an affair with him,
- 31:28Speaker 8: and she was blocking negative stories in the rest of
- 31:31Speaker 8: the press about him. She's completely crazy. She had a
- 31:35Speaker 8: live in fiance and he's a journalist too, and he
- 31:38Speaker 8: was taking notes the whole time that this was going on.
- 31:42Speaker 8: She thought he wasn't paying attention, just having this affair
- 31:46Speaker 8: with Kennedy who said he wanted to impregnate her in
- 31:48Speaker 8: emails and stuff like that. And the fiance, who had
- 31:54Speaker 8: his own problems at New York Magazine a couple of
- 31:56Speaker 8: years ago. He kept track of all this. So he's
- 31:59Speaker 8: been putting this up now on substack and charging people
- 32:03Speaker 8: to read it. Of course, no one's read. No one's
- 32:05Speaker 8: paying for it. Well, what about the journals?
- 32:07Speaker 2: They're all Kennedy haters? Why don't they? But how come
- 32:10Speaker 2: they're not buying this book?
- 32:12Speaker 8: Now, they're not buying the book. They have no interest
- 32:14Speaker 8: in her because this is legiti because MSNBC, you know,
- 32:18Speaker 8: they don't like Trump, obviously, but they're actual journalists and
- 32:22Speaker 8: this woman has done something that's a violation of every
- 32:26Speaker 8: journalistic ethic. So and I think people on all sides
- 32:29Speaker 8: feel that way. So she's she's kind of cooked, and
- 32:33Speaker 8: she's really doubled down on it. And Vanity Fair hired
- 32:36Speaker 8: her to be their West Coast editor, and now of
- 32:39Speaker 8: course they want out of the contract. They didn't realize
- 32:41Speaker 8: how crazy she was.
- 32:42Speaker 2: She's like a man out of country now.
- 32:44Speaker 8: So, yes, she's a reporter without a magazine. So it's
- 32:50Speaker 8: a disaster. Meantime, Kennedy's wife, Cheryl Hines, published her own
- 32:54Speaker 8: book knowing this one was coming out, she published her
- 32:57Speaker 8: own book to get ahead of it, and that book
- 33:00Speaker 8: us all the two copies. Oh okay, maybe three.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Yeah, we're out of time, but everybody check out this
