Firefighters in Truckee Meadows are staying healthier, safer, and saving big thanks to an in-house wellness program that brings physical therapy and strength training straight to their stations. No more waiting for referrals—minor injuries get treated immediately, slashing workers’ comp claims and missed shifts. Last year, they handled 84 injury cases for 77 firefighters, mostly back and shoulder issues, saving an estimated $250K.
