- 0:00Speaker 1: I put with Alexia Napola and Marisa Patton an iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Hi guys, Ola Ola, Marisol's not here today, but I
- 0:12Speaker 1: have a very special guest with me, my husband, my
- 0:16Speaker 1: green Go Todd, and how do you feel? How are you?
- 0:19Speaker 1: How do you feel being here with me today on
- 0:21Speaker 1: the podcast, not on the show? Nervous? Nervous? I'm here
- 0:26Speaker 1: a pro with this. You know how good you are
- 0:27Speaker 1: in your videos and with your socials. Oh, I thank you,
- 0:29Speaker 1: But this is different, this is more pressure. Yeah. Well,
- 0:31Speaker 1: we're not going to talk real estate. We're going to
- 0:33Speaker 1: leave that for your socials. And you can follow him
- 0:36Speaker 1: on his Instagram. What is your Instagram?
- 0:40Speaker 2: It's decited.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I have oh life. According to Todd, I just want
- 0:44Speaker 1: like for like. Well, he talks a lot of good
- 0:47Speaker 1: stuff about real estate, and but here today we're here
- 0:51Speaker 1: to talk about hot topics and we're here to chimad.
- 0:54Speaker 1: You know what, chimmyad is an English babe talk shit
- 0:57Speaker 1: more or less. It's that gossipy. So we're going to
- 1:00Speaker 1: be Chimyando. We're going to talk a lot of that.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You know, I usually do this with my best day
- 1:03Speaker 1: with Marisol, So it just comes very easy. But I
- 1:06Speaker 1: also do that with you too, so you think, right, yeah,
- 1:09Speaker 1: every night. Yeah, I think that that's part of our
- 1:13Speaker 1: of our success, right, like of being together and being
- 1:16Speaker 1: in a relationship and our marriage that we have fun
- 1:19Speaker 1: and we talk a lot of that. Yeah. Anyways, we
- 1:24Speaker 1: have a lot of questions from our viewers and from
- 1:28Speaker 1: our fans that they want to know what everyone always
- 1:32Speaker 1: asks us, which is how did we meet?
- 1:35Speaker 2: Well, you tell the story, so fantastic, go ahead, No,
- 1:38Speaker 2: actually like your version better. My version's rat in PG.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Okay, Well I think that mind is that as well, right,
- 1:45Speaker 1: but in your head it could have been a little
- 1:47Speaker 1: bit more than that. But we actually met in Sea Spices,
- 1:50Speaker 1: and I think that everybody loves to know where we met.
- 1:53Speaker 1: And then when we say Sea Spies, so like, wow,
- 1:55Speaker 1: you guys met at Sea Spice because it's a restaurant
- 1:58Speaker 1: kind of like a lounge and on Sundays it was
- 2:01Speaker 1: Sunday Fun Day and that's when we met on a Sunday.
- 2:04Speaker 1: So thank you Sea Spies because a lot of people,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I feel, I feel like a lot of the girls
- 2:07Speaker 1: go to Sea Spice to meet their guy just because
- 2:10Speaker 1: I met you there were lucky. Yes, we did, so
- 2:15Speaker 1: that's how we met. Yeah, so we met at Sea
- 2:17Speaker 1: Spice here in Miami. It's a beautiful place. Whoever is
- 2:19Speaker 1: visiting Miami definitely needs to see it, needs to visit.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's on the river and it's it's very sexy and
- 2:26Speaker 1: hot and you get to meet guys like Todd there.
- 2:30Speaker 3: Okay, so do you want to know who made the
- 2:32Speaker 3: first move? Well, despite what they think, it actually was me.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Why they would think it was me? I don't make
- 2:39Speaker 3: moves on guys. No, No, I don't know you.
- 2:41Speaker 1: I don't care how high beautiful. I'm just not going
- 2:44Speaker 1: to make the move. But thank you for making the move.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Yes, yes, of course I wasn't going to miss that opportunity.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And who gave the first kiss?
- 2:51Speaker 2: Well that was me.
- 2:51Speaker 1: That was the move, wasn't it. Oh okay, Well I
- 2:54Speaker 1: felt like the move in dating, which was also you,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and then the next move, which would be going on
- 3:00Speaker 1: date and actually, you know, having our first kiss.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Well then that kiss, it was all me and it
- 3:04Speaker 2: took me months to get it, but it was worth
- 3:06Speaker 2: the wait.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I love it. Yeah, so people want to know, how
- 3:10Speaker 1: did you know that I was the one?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Well, that's a great question. How did I know you
- 3:15Speaker 2: were the one. When I first met you, I had
- 3:18Speaker 2: the party in Sea Spice. That we didn't tell him
- 3:20Speaker 2: is that we met. We talked for five or ten minutes,
- 3:23Speaker 2: and then you left. We didn't exchange numbers. I don't
- 3:25Speaker 2: even if I got your name. And then when you
- 3:27Speaker 2: walked away, and I remember you walking away, and I
- 3:29Speaker 2: was like, who the hell is that girl? She's beautiful
- 3:32Speaker 2: and who are she? Because you talked about traveling and
- 3:34Speaker 2: education and all these different things that I wasn't. My
- 3:37Speaker 2: parents about you and everything.
- 3:39Speaker 1: My kids. You were like what?
- 3:42Speaker 2: And then from there I started seeing you out more often,
- 3:44Speaker 2: and every time I saw you, I had to go
- 3:46Speaker 2: straight to you. So I knew you were the one then.
- 3:48Speaker 2: And then when you finally accepted a date with me
- 3:50Speaker 2: and we went out and went to Chipriani, Yeah, and
- 3:53Speaker 2: we stayed there till late at night. We went to
- 3:55Speaker 2: dinner late. When you told me you liked to eat
- 3:56Speaker 2: dinner late, I might not have been true.
- 3:58Speaker 1: I still do what I was seven years ago. I've
- 4:00Speaker 1: gotten older, so I can't eat late. I can't. I'm
- 4:03Speaker 1: not supposed to say that late.
- 4:04Speaker 2: But that's how I knew.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Oh, I kind of knew it was you also, you know,
- 4:09Speaker 1: besides that, I thought you were like hot and stuff.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I thought once we did go on the day and
- 4:14Speaker 1: we started to get to know each other, I loved
- 4:17Speaker 1: like everything about you. And that's why I had to
- 4:21Speaker 1: gooste you no kidding me? Thank you? No? Well, I
- 4:24Speaker 1: kind of had to because I wasn't ready yet in
- 4:27Speaker 1: that moment. And you know that because I was separated
- 4:30Speaker 1: and I you know, I wasn't ready. I felt like
- 4:33Speaker 1: I needed some time for myself and I really liked you,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and I said, you know what, if I keep on
- 4:37Speaker 1: seeing this guy, I'm gonna end up marrying him. And
- 4:39Speaker 1: I did. But anyways, you know, it's all about timing.
- 4:44Speaker 1: That's what I tell my friends. You can't force things.
- 4:46Speaker 1: You know, they have to happen naturally, and you know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: sometimes you meet the wrong guy at the right time,
- 4:51Speaker 1: and other times you meet the right guy at the
- 4:54Speaker 1: wrong time. I happened to meet the right guy at
- 4:57Speaker 1: the right time, and I'm very happy that happened. I'm
- 5:01Speaker 1: happily married. And that comes into our next question, like,
- 5:04Speaker 1: what do you think is our secret staying happy and
- 5:07Speaker 1: in our marriage?
- 5:09Speaker 2: Well, it would be superficials because you hot as fuck.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Guy. That well, because we really like each other, like
- 5:16Speaker 1: obviously like sexually, and we to each other.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Second, I think it makes a big difference. Like every
- 5:20Speaker 2: night we go out for dinner. It could be Tuesday, Friday, Saturday,
- 5:23Speaker 2: it could be Sunday just going to the beach. You
- 5:25Speaker 2: always look studying, So that does a lot for a man.
- 5:28Speaker 2: So yeah, sexual attraction, so lot.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Thank you. No, I agree. I feel the same way
- 5:31Speaker 1: about you. It's exciting. You know, you always look so
- 5:35Speaker 1: handsome and hot, so I do believe that that's part
- 5:38Speaker 1: of our secret. I think we really like each other,
- 5:40Speaker 1: not only like the way we look, but like who
- 5:42Speaker 1: we are, you know, and like I love everything you say.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I mean sometimes more some things you say than others,
- 5:47Speaker 1: like what you're telling me right now, I love. But
- 5:50Speaker 1: you know, I think you have to be into each
- 5:52Speaker 1: other and really like each other and admire each other
- 5:55Speaker 1: for whatever it may be. I think we got that.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I think so too. So if you can live anywhere
- 6:02Speaker 1: else besides Miami, I know we've had these talks before.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Where would you live?
- 6:07Speaker 2: As long as it's with you, it's good?
- 6:09Speaker 1: Oh okay, you're saying all The right answer is big
- 6:13Speaker 1: you're gonna get lucky. Then, I know you always get lucky,
- 6:16Speaker 1: but yeah, I mean I love the warm weather. So
- 6:20Speaker 1: if I had.
- 6:21Speaker 2: To extend this conversation to where my choices would be,
- 6:25Speaker 2: I'd say, summer is in Europe and winter is in
- 6:28Speaker 2: a warmer place.
- 6:30Speaker 1: You wouldn't go back to Staten Island, I mean, not
- 6:32Speaker 1: even to visit. No, No, I want to go to visit.
- 6:35Speaker 2: No, you didn't want to even get on the ferry.
- 6:36Speaker 2: You're not having a panic attack.
- 6:37Speaker 1: No, I was actually going to faint because there was
- 6:40Speaker 1: a lot of people. I started to remember, I started
- 6:43Speaker 1: busy and I had to leave. I was so upset.
- 6:46Speaker 1: But you owe me a trip to Staten Island. You
- 6:49Speaker 1: got it. So I love the warm weather just like you.
- 6:52Speaker 1: And that's why I love Miami so much. But if
- 6:55Speaker 1: I could live anywhere else, I think I would live
- 6:57Speaker 1: in Europe, because you know, I really think in the US,
- 6:59Speaker 1: I love Miami in New York when New York is
- 7:01Speaker 1: too cold, and I love California, but I feel like
- 7:04Speaker 1: it's a little bit too far and it's very similar
- 7:06Speaker 1: to Miami. So I would take Miami over California. But
- 7:10Speaker 1: if I could live anywhere else, I would probably live
- 7:12Speaker 1: in Madrid in Spain now. I have a lot of
- 7:14Speaker 1: beautiful memories there. I got to live there so many
- 7:16Speaker 1: years with my mom and my family, and I would
- 7:20Speaker 1: definitely want to go back to Madrid and I would
- 7:23Speaker 1: live there. They speak Spanish. I love the food, I
- 7:25Speaker 1: love the culture and everything else. So name three things
- 7:38Speaker 1: that each of us keep by our bedside. Three things
- 7:42Speaker 1: that I keep right, and three things that I keep well.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Three things that I keep I guess. I have gum books,
- 7:48Speaker 2: gum and my iPhone.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Okay, so I have my reading glasses, my iPad for
- 7:56Speaker 1: shopping online by you when you go to sleep, and
- 8:01Speaker 1: I have a picture of you and I I have
- 8:04Speaker 1: that too. Yeah, well you didn't say it. That's my answer.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Mine's they closer to my bed. Do you have any advice, babe,
- 8:11Speaker 1: because you're really good at giving advice, So I'm going
- 8:14Speaker 1: to ask you that question. If you were to give
- 8:16Speaker 1: any advice to a remarried older I mean for people
- 8:20Speaker 1: who are remarrying older and blending families together, what advice
- 8:25Speaker 1: would you give them?
- 8:27Speaker 2: That's a really good question. What advice would I give
- 8:30Speaker 2: people who are getting remarried and blending families I guess
- 8:33Speaker 2: want a lot of patients and try to understand it's
- 8:37Speaker 2: a totally new dynamic for everybody. And yeah, my keyword
- 8:40Speaker 2: of patience.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Okay, trying to bunting in, Like how much do you
- 8:44Speaker 1: think the other partner should butt in? Do you think
- 8:47Speaker 1: they should stay away all together and not have like
- 8:51Speaker 1: an opinion or a thought or be involved in any
- 8:54Speaker 1: way or give advice or do you think that that
- 8:57Speaker 1: person you know wants they earned you know, that trust
- 9:01Speaker 1: should be a little bit involved, you know, especially if
- 9:03Speaker 1: you're trying to blend the families together.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that everybody should be involved to a degree.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's welcomed.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure, it's tough. It's blending families. You know.
- 9:14Speaker 1: Luckily for us, my kids were older, so I feel
- 9:19Speaker 1: that that makes it easier.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Yeah, that's right.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Question.
- 9:22Speaker 2: If you're acclimating a family that's you know, a two
- 9:25Speaker 2: and a three year old versus a twenty two and
- 9:26Speaker 2: twenty three year old, it's completely different.
- 9:28Speaker 1: So depending on what the answer, yeah, go on for
- 9:32Speaker 1: an hour. Yeah, it really depends on the age. You know.
- 9:34Speaker 1: I don't think at any age it's it's simple and
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's easy. I think it has a lot to do
- 9:40Speaker 1: with you know, who the children are and how the
- 9:42Speaker 1: children are and the families, and it could get complicated,
- 9:46Speaker 1: but if you really love each other, you you will
- 9:49Speaker 1: figure it out. It all happen, and your kids need
- 9:52Speaker 1: to understand because you know, I feel like a lot
- 9:54Speaker 1: of times the kids become a little bit selfish, and
- 9:57Speaker 1: you know, it's like about them, well what about us?
- 9:59Speaker 1: But you know what happens. The kids grow up and
- 10:02Speaker 1: then they have their boyfriends and girlfriends and they forget
- 10:05Speaker 1: the sacrifices and decisions you made because of them. So
- 10:08Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, you need to set boundaries
- 10:10Speaker 1: and you have to, you know, always have a good
- 10:14Speaker 1: relationship in communication with them, but do what makes you happy?
- 10:19Speaker 1: I agree? Okay, Well those are the questions for everybody
- 10:23Speaker 1: that wanted to know. And we're going to move on
- 10:26Speaker 1: to the hot topics. Babe, we talk hot topics here.
- 10:29Speaker 2: Oh you like that?
- 10:30Speaker 1: I love it, caliente okay, So of course, and you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: I wanted to pick a topic that you as a
- 10:36Speaker 1: man would be okay with, you know, because it wasn't
- 10:39Speaker 1: going to be so early, So we picked the Super Bowl.
- 10:43Speaker 1: How do you feel about that? Football? Football? The Super
- 10:46Speaker 1: Bowl Kansas City Chiefs versus San Francisco forty nine Ers.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Same game we saw, we went to it.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Yes, yes, so we got to go to the That
- 10:56Speaker 1: was my first Super Bowl. Was at your first Super
- 10:57Speaker 1: Bowl as well? Yes? Right, yes, so we got to
- 10:59Speaker 1: go to the Super Bowl February twenty twenty here in
- 11:03Speaker 1: Miami and our city. It was not the Dolphins playing,
- 11:06Speaker 1: but it was the Kansas City Chiefs and the forty
- 11:08Speaker 1: nine Ers, and I was going for the Kansas City
- 11:11Speaker 1: Chiefs and we won and it was so cool. Thank
- 11:15Speaker 1: you for getting us the tickets. And it was even
- 11:17Speaker 1: more special because we got to go with your dad
- 11:19Speaker 1: and he loved football so much, so it was just
- 11:23Speaker 1: a great experience. So I'm super excited that it's going
- 11:26Speaker 1: to be in Vegas because I think Vegas is another
- 11:29Speaker 1: great city. Don't you like to celebrate that? Absolutely can
- 11:32Speaker 1: be a lot of fun.
- 11:33Speaker 2: It's a great stadium.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Yeah. I wish I was going. I wish you were
- 11:37Speaker 1: going too, But there's no tickets to go.
- 11:38Speaker 2: You can't get a plane.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I saw you. I saw you actually looking that up
- 11:42Speaker 1: yesterday and it's the same teams. Yeah, right, who are
- 11:45Speaker 1: you going for?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Kansas City?
- 11:47Speaker 1: Me? Too. Yeah, I'm a Dolphin fan, but right after
- 11:51Speaker 1: the Dolphins, and the Dolphins aren't there. My favorite team
- 11:54Speaker 1: has always been in Kansas City Chiefs, and even now
- 11:57Speaker 1: more so that Taylor Swift is dating Travis Kelcey. You know,
- 12:03Speaker 1: the marathon and I are huge fans of Taylor and Travis,
- 12:06Speaker 1: and we're getting invited to her wedding, to their wedding,
- 12:09Speaker 1: and so we're gonna just keep on manifesting that.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Well as long as I could be your plus one,
- 12:15Speaker 2: I'm on board.
- 12:16Speaker 1: All right. And also I know I have Jonathan across
- 12:20Speaker 1: from me. Jonathan, do you remember being in Vegas? We
- 12:23Speaker 1: were in Vegas actually, and the super Bowl was taking place,
- 12:26Speaker 1: not in Vegas. I forgot where the where the super
- 12:31Speaker 1: Bowl was taking place, but we were watching it in
- 12:33Speaker 1: Vegas in the big screens like all over the hotels,
- 12:37Speaker 1: and Beyonce was performing, and Jonathan and I are huge
- 12:42Speaker 1: fans of Beyonce. And there was Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars.
- 12:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, that was spectacular. So I can't even
- 12:50Speaker 1: imagine the energy, you know, being that the game is
- 12:53Speaker 1: there in Vegas, because Vegas is just like celebration, right,
- 12:57Speaker 1: It's like fun dancing, drinking, like everybody that goes there.
- 13:00Speaker 1: I even felt out a Brabo con. A lot of
- 13:02Speaker 1: people have asked me, like, what do you prefer brabo
- 13:04Speaker 1: Con in New York City or Las Vegas. I love
- 13:07Speaker 1: our fan base in New York and it was an
- 13:10Speaker 1: amazing experience, but I felt like everybody goes to Vegas
- 13:14Speaker 1: like to have fun. So everybody's there just like having fun.
- 13:17Speaker 1: They don't even care like what they are to see.
- 13:19Speaker 1: They're just like the brain is programmed to just have
- 13:22Speaker 1: fun in Vegas. So I can't imagine that it's going
- 13:24Speaker 1: to be a spectacular time. And speaking of halftime performances,
- 13:30Speaker 1: Usher's performing like Usher. I love Usher. I met him
- 13:33Speaker 1: in Bow Harbor. He's a fantastic guy. Couldn't be kinder.
- 13:36Speaker 2: He's a tremendous performer, so.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Safe, he's going to be great. I feel the same.
- 13:41Speaker 1: I met Usher, well, me and everybody else that was
- 13:44Speaker 1: there that night at Faena at Saxity. Apparently Usher loves
- 13:48Speaker 1: Miami because you met him at bout Harbor and I
- 13:51Speaker 1: met him at Saxony and he was there and I
- 13:55Speaker 1: was I just looked and I was like, who's this
- 13:57Speaker 1: guy dancing? And he was making like all those moves
- 13:59Speaker 1: like a and I'm like, oh my god, it's Ushure
- 14:02Speaker 1: and everybody's like, like, you know, Saxony is very private
- 14:04Speaker 1: and that was like way back in the day when
- 14:06Speaker 1: it first started opened in twenty fifteen, that was very exclusive.
- 14:10Speaker 1: And he was just there chilling, dancing everybody like. He
- 14:14Speaker 1: was so approachable, he was so personable. He just seems
- 14:17Speaker 1: like this sweet, beautiful person. So I'm super excited. He
- 14:23Speaker 1: was also in Vegas when I was there for Brabo
- 14:26Speaker 1: Khan and my friend Kenya Kenya Moore invited me to
- 14:31Speaker 1: the concert, but I had plans with other people that night,
- 14:35Speaker 1: so I couldn't make it. And when I see Kenya
- 14:38Speaker 1: was at the concert and Usher was serenading her. I
- 14:41Speaker 1: don't know if you guys saw that, but Usher was
- 14:44Speaker 1: serenading Kenya and I was like, oh my god, I
- 14:46Speaker 1: could have been there in the middle between Kenya Usher
- 14:49Speaker 1: and me. Can you imagine would you have been okay
- 14:51Speaker 1: with that, babe if you would have seen me. That's
- 14:53Speaker 1: all I can think about Usher in the middle between
- 14:56Speaker 1: Kenya and I. I was like, oh my god, it
- 14:58Speaker 1: was like a fantasy, babe. I'm sorry, that's pretty hot, Okay, Like,
- 15:02Speaker 1: who would you want to serenade? What woman would you like?
- 15:05Speaker 1: Jlo in the middle between you and Sophia Vergara. Do
- 15:07Speaker 1: you think I'm dumb enough to answer this? Why not?
- 15:09Speaker 1: Have you gone? It doesn't mean it's going to happen.
- 15:12Speaker 1: I mean it almost happened to me.
- 15:14Speaker 2: Maybe I manifest that like you manifest Travis and Taylor's wedding.
- 15:18Speaker 1: Yes, listen, you know what. That's the beauty of dreaming, right,
- 15:23Speaker 1: you can just dream whatever you want. But anyway, so
- 15:25Speaker 1: he did his residency. He finished December tewond in Vegas,
- 15:29Speaker 1: and I missed it. But he loves to serenade women,
- 15:33Speaker 1: So I'm thinking that he might serenade Taylor Swift at
- 15:37Speaker 1: the Super Bowl. Do you think Travis that's going to happen? No,
- 15:42Speaker 1: wouldn't think Taylor is going to be on the on
- 15:44Speaker 1: the field. Why not? But she's going to be like
- 15:48Speaker 1: right there in the front. Don't you think she's gonna
- 15:49Speaker 1: have access to that? Maybe she's a fan of Usher.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I'm sure she is. I don't know. I'm just thinking
- 15:55Speaker 1: that he can serenade Taylor Swift because I'm not there.
- 15:58Speaker 1: If I would be there, would be Taylor and I
- 16:01Speaker 1: but no, I think he's I'm so excited for him.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I know he's gonna kill it. And I'm also super
- 16:07Speaker 1: excited for the other performers because he might bring somebody
- 16:12Speaker 1: like secretly, like on stage. Do you think that he's
- 16:15Speaker 1: going to bring somebody to perform with him?
- 16:17Speaker 2: Yeah, of course that's the super Bowl is They got
- 16:19Speaker 2: to be surprise guests.
- 16:20Speaker 1: They all do it right, so I know. But I
- 16:22Speaker 1: want him to bring Justin Bieber possible. Oh my god, Yes,
- 16:26Speaker 1: he's crowned Justine. I know that's why. How like iconic
- 16:30Speaker 1: would it be for him to bring Justin Bieber? And
- 16:33Speaker 1: of course I'll have to pick a girl a woman
- 16:35Speaker 1: to Mariah Carey. I mean that would be epic. I mean,
- 16:39Speaker 1: I love Alicia Keys, I mean I love There's so many,
- 16:42Speaker 1: But for me, it would be Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey.
- 16:45Speaker 2: Good choices.
- 16:46Speaker 1: What about for you?
- 16:48Speaker 2: Who could he bring that he could bring the first
- 16:50Speaker 2: if he could do the whole show himself. He only
- 16:52Speaker 2: has a few minutes, but he's going to bring up
- 16:53Speaker 2: people that you weren't expecting. That's what they do. But
- 16:56Speaker 2: Justin Bieber is a very good choice because that's someone
- 16:58Speaker 2: from his past. Yes, I don't know if he has
- 17:00Speaker 2: any new music. Justin Timberlake has new music.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I don't know if No, we're not doing just Air Timberlake.
- 17:05Speaker 2: No he can't come.
- 17:06Speaker 1: No, Brittany said, no, we're not doing it. Actually that's
- 17:08Speaker 1: not true. Britney supports him and apologize to him just
- 17:11Speaker 1: absolutely hem I don't.
- 17:13Speaker 2: Absolutely she came out and apologize for what for saying
- 17:16Speaker 2: the old things about him. She said she shouldn't have
- 17:18Speaker 2: done that. So they moved on. So keep that one going.
- 17:21Speaker 2: But I'm going to be a guest musician. I don't know,
- 17:23Speaker 2: maybe someone from Vegas. You have to think about who
- 17:25Speaker 2: lives out in Vegas.
- 17:26Speaker 1: That's true or Relie. I mean, it's easy, it's an
- 17:28Speaker 1: easy flight. And I'm sure like all the celebrities that
- 17:31Speaker 1: are going to be there at the what I.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Like to bring people that are like local to that stadium.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Okay, but you know who? You know who I'm also
- 17:40Speaker 1: excited about. And it's going to sound really strange to you,
- 17:44Speaker 1: but it's post Malone, so I know post Malone. I
- 17:48Speaker 1: know it's going to strike you because of my kids,
- 17:51Speaker 1: because of Frankie. He's such a huge fan and Peter
- 17:54Speaker 1: and I've been listening to his music and he's gonna
- 17:58Speaker 1: perform America the Beautiful and I just can't wait for
- 18:01Speaker 1: him to sing it. Oh yeah, yeah, I mean I
- 18:04Speaker 1: know because he has like this, like this good voice.
- 18:07Speaker 1: He's really a great singer. He's not only a rapper.
- 18:10Speaker 1: He writes his songs, he writes his music, and and
- 18:13Speaker 1: he's going like that direction of country, yeah, you know.
- 18:16Speaker 1: And you know, I have a new found love for
- 18:17Speaker 1: country because of you. That from exactly Todd loves country
- 18:22Speaker 1: music and I had literally never listened to country music.
- 18:26Speaker 1: And it's so beautiful. You know. The reason I think
- 18:29Speaker 1: I never really listened to because the lyrics are like
- 18:31Speaker 1: so I don't know, they're so strong. They make me cry.
- 18:36Speaker 1: You know, it's like it's for me, it's like sad songs.
- 18:38Speaker 1: I always related country music with like sad music, and
- 18:42Speaker 1: maybe that's why I really didn't like to listen to it.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But because of you and that you love listening so much,
- 18:49Speaker 1: it's like happy music for me.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Now it's still sad, but he's good music.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah, But they have so many great songs, so I'm
- 18:57Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch and perform like I said,
- 19:00Speaker 1: I have a new love for him. You know, I
- 19:02Speaker 1: only knew him like as a rapper. I only knew
- 19:04Speaker 1: that that kind of music. And he's really expanding into
- 19:07Speaker 1: country and he's writing his music. So it's gonna be
- 19:10Speaker 1: cool just to listen to him saying America beautiful and
- 19:13Speaker 1: that is an amazing song. And the national anthem is
- 19:18Speaker 1: going to be sang by Reba McIntyre. Reba Rieba knew it. Okay,
- 19:24Speaker 1: that's my Spanish, my English, Reba McIntire. So what do
- 19:33Speaker 1: you think about her? I know, I love her. She's
- 19:37Speaker 1: so good, and she's gonna sing the national anthem, which
- 19:40Speaker 1: is the most beautiful anthem in the world. No for Nada,
- 19:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You know, Cuban American and the Cuban anthem
- 19:49Speaker 1: is pretty, but there's nothing like our national anthem. I
- 19:53Speaker 1: get the goosebumps every single time you get him again. Yes,
- 19:58Speaker 1: So you think Taylor Swift is going to make it?
- 20:01Speaker 1: I know she's going to be in Japan performing, but
- 20:02Speaker 1: she has her own plane and I'm sure she will
- 20:05Speaker 1: take her hours to get there, but she'll make it.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Said she'll be there, She'll be there, right, Yeah, plenty
- 20:10Speaker 2: of time.
- 20:11Speaker 1: Do you think he's going to propose to her after
- 20:13Speaker 1: he wins, because you know, no, he's going to wait
- 20:16Speaker 1: to July.
- 20:17Speaker 2: I think their life is so public. I think he's
- 20:19Speaker 2: going to do that privately.
- 20:21Speaker 1: I think that that's a good idea.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I think it'd be really bad taste from the doing
- 20:24Speaker 2: on the field after a super Bowl with all the
- 20:26Speaker 2: I agree much already created do that privately, I agree.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I mean, just her presence is already dramatic there and chaotic,
- 20:35Speaker 1: so but it's very exciting. It's a very exciting time
- 20:39Speaker 1: in his life, in both of their lives. But he
- 20:42Speaker 1: and if he wins the the super Bowl, it's going
- 20:46Speaker 1: to be even more. He'll be ready to ask her
- 20:48Speaker 1: to get married a couple of months.
- 20:49Speaker 2: He could give her one of his super Bowl rings.
- 20:51Speaker 1: It's got a whole bunch. That's good. She can worry
- 20:55Speaker 1: it around her neck. So we're going to talk about
- 21:06Speaker 1: Drew Barrymore. I love Drew. She's kind of like Taylor Swift,
- 21:10Speaker 1: but she's Drew, you know what I mean. She was
- 21:11Speaker 1: always like American sweetheart. You know, everyone loved her. We
- 21:16Speaker 1: saw her growing up, you know, in all the shows
- 21:20Speaker 1: and in the movies. Right now, she's on a dating app,
- 21:24Speaker 1: and she's saying that she was catfished on this dating
- 21:27Speaker 1: app by a man pretending to be an NFL playter.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Yes you read that as well, Yes, because I know
- 21:35Speaker 1: you keep up with your news, so I thought. First
- 21:39Speaker 1: of all, she says that the only reason why she
- 21:42Speaker 1: was even on the app was because Taylor Swift inspired her.
- 21:45Speaker 1: She's like, you know what, if Taylor can do it,
- 21:47Speaker 1: you know I should get out there and I should
- 21:49Speaker 1: get on an app. Maybe I can meet somebody. So
- 21:53Speaker 1: apparently this guy on the dating app said he was
- 21:59Speaker 1: a quarterback. Why did you read this for you? Please?
- 22:03Speaker 1: I got to read all this.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Yeah, this guy on my dating app said he was
- 22:07Speaker 2: the quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams Drew explained on
- 22:10Speaker 2: the January twenty sixth episode of her eponymous talk show.
- 22:13Speaker 2: So I wrote to him and I was like, oh
- 22:15Speaker 2: my god. I went to the first practice game. I
- 22:17Speaker 2: was so frustrated being a girl from LA who loves football,
- 22:20Speaker 2: and we didn't have any teams. And then I moved
- 22:22Speaker 2: away to New York and then we got two teams.
- 22:25Speaker 2: And this is really long. She wrote all this. This
- 22:27Speaker 2: is what it's nice to meet you Drew.
- 22:30Speaker 4: White Kat Fisher because she talks too much. I think
- 22:33Speaker 4: she really bought debate. However, the forty eight year old
- 22:36Speaker 4: quickly realized she should have swiped left. He was not
- 22:39Speaker 4: the quarterback of the La Rams. She continued, He's a
- 22:41Speaker 4: musician that thought he was being cute. Since Drew was
- 22:44Speaker 4: still playing the field, she posed the question to the audience,
- 22:46Speaker 4: how should I feel about this? Her co host Ross Matthews,
- 22:49Speaker 4: I like that I've been him with you, validated her disappointment.
- 22:52Speaker 2: You should feel lied to, robbed, He replied, I have
- 22:55Speaker 2: a fantasy that you liked a new Tali Swift. Then
- 22:57Speaker 2: you're going to be at the games, right?
- 23:00Speaker 1: Okay? So, well, that that was cute. I mean, at
- 23:03Speaker 1: least she's having fun with it. But she really did
- 23:07Speaker 1: feel like she was lied to and cheated. So before
- 23:12Speaker 1: we met, did you ever do any online dating? I
- 23:15Speaker 1: know the answer.
- 23:16Speaker 2: No, I didn't.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Of course you didn't, neither did I.
- 23:18Speaker 2: By the way, that old fashioned.
- 23:20Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm super traditional and old fashioned. You know, I
- 23:23Speaker 1: need to like, look at you, see you talk to
- 23:25Speaker 1: you before we even go on a date. But truthfully,
- 23:29Speaker 1: when we met seven years ago, things were a little different.
- 23:32Speaker 1: I feel like today in twenty twenty four, these apps
- 23:35Speaker 1: are very popular and they're so available, and it's like
- 23:39Speaker 1: instant gratification and you're like just having fun with it.
- 23:43Speaker 1: But I am happy that at least she's excited about
- 23:47Speaker 1: dating and did something about it. I mean, I just
- 23:50Speaker 1: think that somebody like her, I don't even know why
- 23:56Speaker 1: they would be on dating app, right, I mean, I
- 23:59Speaker 1: don't know. How do you feel about that?
- 24:01Speaker 2: Well, I think she's Drew Barrymore, so she can't just
- 24:04Speaker 2: go sit at the bar and wait for people to
- 24:06Speaker 2: come talk to her. So she's got a real problem.
- 24:08Speaker 1: Yeah, But and app it's the same thing. Don't you
- 24:10Speaker 1: think she's Drew Barrymore. Did she lie about who she
- 24:13Speaker 1: was or he knew who she was?
- 24:14Speaker 2: No, I don't know, but I would imagine on the
- 24:16Speaker 2: app she has control of saying who she's going to pick,
- 24:18Speaker 2: so it's up to well.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I love that. I love that the girls are the
- 24:21Speaker 1: ones that get to swipe, so we get to pick.
- 24:24Speaker 1: But she didn't swipe all the way. That's something that
- 24:26Speaker 1: would probably happen to me because I don't swipe and
- 24:29Speaker 1: I don't scroll. I just whatever. And I've seen some
- 24:32Speaker 1: of my friends being on these apps. And as a
- 24:35Speaker 1: matter of fact, this week when I was at the gym,
- 24:39Speaker 1: it was a friend of mine that was there, and
- 24:41Speaker 1: she finally got the courage, I think because I told her, like,
- 24:44Speaker 1: you really don't like to go out, you need to
- 24:46Speaker 1: meet someone, you should go on this app. And she did.
- 24:51Speaker 1: And then she was like, Alexia, you want me to
- 24:54Speaker 1: show you what's on this app? And I'm like, oh
- 24:55Speaker 1: my god, yeah, like I've never seen it, Like show
- 24:57Speaker 1: me and she opened up and she was showing the
- 25:01Speaker 1: pictures of the guys and I was like no, no, no,
- 25:04Speaker 1: I was like, who are these guys? I mean, wouldn't
- 25:07Speaker 1: you think that they would take a picture that they
- 25:08Speaker 1: look good in because that's what the girls are going
- 25:11Speaker 1: to be looking at. These guys were like terrible, Like
- 25:14Speaker 1: they looked horrible. Their hairs are messy, their yellow teeth,
- 25:18Speaker 1: you know, their their dressed like whatever. I mean. I
- 25:22Speaker 1: was like, what's wrong with these men? The good thing
- 25:24Speaker 1: is that, I said, you know what, at least they're
- 25:26Speaker 1: being honest, because I feel like on these apps also
- 25:29Speaker 1: they lie about the way that they look. So the
- 25:32Speaker 1: good thing I told her was the good thing is
- 25:34Speaker 1: that at least you know that they can't be any
- 25:36Speaker 1: other girl in this, like this is what the guy
- 25:38Speaker 1: really looks like. Okay maybe in person, maybe in person
- 25:42Speaker 1: they have to look better because I was like, who
- 25:45Speaker 1: took these pictures? And how is it? How do they
- 25:47Speaker 1: think that somebody's gonna swipe and say listen, I want
- 25:49Speaker 1: to meet you. So it was funny. So we were
- 25:53Speaker 1: going through the pictures and we were like nope, nope,
- 25:56Speaker 1: and the's like a big X no no, then some
- 26:00Speaker 1: check mark and the other one was a heart, so
- 26:03Speaker 1: of course it's super hot guy named Rodrigo comes up
- 26:07Speaker 1: and he's his description as an actor, and we're both
- 26:10Speaker 1: like heart. We're both like heart, you know, and then
- 26:13Speaker 1: what does the guy do? Nothing? She's like I don't care,
- 26:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, okay, so you're just looking for like
- 26:18Speaker 1: a hot guy. So it was you know, it's interesting
- 26:21Speaker 1: because you know, everybody has a different perspective, but I
- 26:25Speaker 1: think as a woman or even a man that's on there,
- 26:27Speaker 1: you have to really question what you want. Are you
- 26:30Speaker 1: just there to have fun and go on a date
- 26:32Speaker 1: and get a free dinner and talk to someone or
- 26:35Speaker 1: just like a hot guy? And some of them, babe,
- 26:37Speaker 1: some of them said, I'll only be in Miami for
- 26:39Speaker 1: a week. I was like, okay, so I don't even
- 26:43Speaker 1: know that these apps anymore. And you have a lot
- 26:45Speaker 1: of friends that have used them and they have met
- 26:47Speaker 1: really gray guys and you know them. But then I
- 26:51Speaker 1: see these apps also being used as just like a
- 26:55Speaker 1: hookup thing, right, just like you know what, Like you're
- 26:58Speaker 1: in Miami, Okay, you're q Q, let's just go have
- 27:00Speaker 1: dinner and whatever. For me, it doesn't work for me,
- 27:05Speaker 1: It would never work, you know. Even I mean I've
- 27:07Speaker 1: gone used to like online shopping, but even that before
- 27:09Speaker 1: I used to have to go to the store like
- 27:11Speaker 1: pick it out, touch it.
- 27:13Speaker 2: Feeling example, because you're very good at online.
- 27:17Speaker 1: But that's when I'm becoming expert. Yeah, maybe I have.
- 27:20Speaker 1: So with that being said, maybe I would become an
- 27:22Speaker 1: expert on an app like that, But I'm easily distracted.
- 27:26Speaker 1: So like I've always very like I said, even with shopping,
- 27:29Speaker 1: I love like walking into the department store and inside
- 27:32Speaker 1: the boutique and seeing everything and touching it and trying
- 27:36Speaker 1: it on and feeling it. And I feel like with
- 27:38Speaker 1: a man it is the same thing. I just don't
- 27:40Speaker 1: want to swipe on an app and just see like
- 27:42Speaker 1: I can't touch it or feel it or see it,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Maybe that's coming soon with AI.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Okay, well maybe I'm getting some ideas out there. But yeah.
- 27:54Speaker 1: So the next question, somebody is asking, so, how do
- 27:56Speaker 1: you feel about your friend's going on on online dating?
- 28:01Speaker 1: Am I worried? No? I mean my friends are very aware.
- 28:05Speaker 1: They're all like, very like strong assertive women, and they
- 28:09Speaker 1: have good judgment, so I'm not afraid from them, you know,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I think that they like to have fun with it.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I mean, is it dangerous? Is it supposed to be
- 28:16Speaker 1: dangerous online dating?
- 28:18Speaker 2: I don't know what to be right, I don't know.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I mean, no more dangerous than a regular date would be.
- 28:23Speaker 2: I guess either way, you're going to a dat in
- 28:24Speaker 2: a public surely.
- 28:25Speaker 1: It's a risk you're taking, regardless whether you know the
- 28:27Speaker 1: guy from an apper or you know him from meeting
- 28:29Speaker 1: him at a bar. So I'm not worried for my friends.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Most of my friends are married, so if they're on
- 28:36Speaker 2: that app then not telling me.
- 28:37Speaker 1: Yeah, well what about that? There's married men my friends. Yes,
- 28:42Speaker 1: So that was another thing that I found super interesting.
- 28:44Speaker 1: But some of the men said married they're just there
- 28:48Speaker 1: to find friends. I put forward. That's like an eye
- 28:51Speaker 1: forward moment. Okay, I was like, who believes this? Who's
- 28:55Speaker 1: believing that your husband is not an app to find friends? Whatever?
- 29:00Speaker 1: They don't want them say it at all. You can
- 29:03Speaker 1: you can see anything nowadays, right, So what do you
- 29:06Speaker 1: think was different like this time around? Like us dating,
- 29:09Speaker 1: you know, after a divorce and with a family, Like,
- 29:11Speaker 1: how was your dating different from before we got married
- 29:15Speaker 1: and having children?
- 29:17Speaker 2: Dating before I was married versus after I was divorced,
- 29:21Speaker 2: that's the question. Well, first off, after I was divorced,
- 29:24Speaker 2: I had my children every other weekend, so I wouldn't
- 29:25Speaker 2: go out on those weekends. So that was you know,
- 29:27Speaker 2: I went three with my kids. I didn't have them
- 29:28Speaker 2: a lot. So there's that variable to put into the equation.
- 29:32Speaker 2: But yeah, you start thinking about your kids in a
- 29:34Speaker 2: different kind of life and this person you have to meet, Like,
- 29:36Speaker 2: if you're single, it could be anybody as long as
- 29:38Speaker 2: you're having fun, any liked the person. But once you
- 29:41Speaker 2: have children involved, you have to see if this person
- 29:42Speaker 2: would blend in with your kids, because that's very very important.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Absolutely. Well, I was never like a dater. I really
- 29:50Speaker 1: didn't like today. I think you were one of the
- 29:52Speaker 1: few dates I went on when I was separated because
- 29:56Speaker 1: I didn't like today. I like to go out with
- 29:58Speaker 1: my girlfriends and my guy friends and just like have
- 30:01Speaker 1: fun and not go on dates. I date. I just
- 30:03Speaker 1: don't like dating. I think it's a lot of for
- 30:06Speaker 1: me to accept the date. Put it that way. I
- 30:08Speaker 1: really have to.
- 30:08Speaker 2: Like you, But she was so good at that day.
- 30:10Speaker 1: You did it because I really liked you. Yeah, you
- 30:13Speaker 1: had a good practice.
- 30:13Speaker 2: You must have practiced when no, no, no, no date when
- 30:16Speaker 2: you were younger.
- 30:17Speaker 1: Actually I did. I dated a lot. I did because
- 30:21Speaker 1: you know what, back then, I dated a lot because
- 30:23Speaker 1: I didn't want a serious relationship. I really want a
- 30:26Speaker 1: boyfriend or anything like that. So it was a little different.
- 30:29Speaker 1: But I feel like it's okay to date a lot,
- 30:33Speaker 1: but don't get your family involved. Like I wasn't trying.
- 30:36Speaker 1: Even if I would be dating, I wasn't going to
- 30:38Speaker 1: be introducing every guy I go on a date with
- 30:40Speaker 1: to my kids. And I feel like a lot of
- 30:42Speaker 1: women do that, even before knowing to get to know
- 30:45Speaker 1: the guy or knowing that it's going anywhere, they already
- 30:48Speaker 1: have the guy in the house already going out with
- 30:49Speaker 1: their kids. I was like, dude, like, you guys don't
- 30:51Speaker 1: even know each other, and you're like involving your family.
- 30:54Speaker 1: So I always kept like my family life and my
- 30:57Speaker 1: private life away from all that. And it wasn't until
- 31:01Speaker 1: I'm really secure about the person and the relationship that
- 31:05Speaker 1: I was open to involve my family or introduce them
- 31:09Speaker 1: to my family. So I mean, that's the best advice
- 31:12Speaker 1: that I can give, you know, to anyone. It's like,
- 31:15Speaker 1: you know, date all you want, but you know, leave
- 31:18Speaker 1: your your kids and your family.
- 31:21Speaker 2: And I'd say, the younger your kids are, the longer
- 31:23Speaker 2: you should wait. Your kids ready older they were already
- 31:25Speaker 2: adults when I met them, so it's easier. But the
- 31:27Speaker 2: your kids are, the longer you should wait to introduce
- 31:30Speaker 2: I agree. Well that was fun.
- 31:32Speaker 1: Wait we're not done yet. Listen. We got a lot
- 31:35Speaker 1: of teammate here. Okay, So we talked about Drew Barrymore.
- 31:40Speaker 1: I guess like La is like Miami, there's like no
- 31:42Speaker 1: guys there.
- 31:43Speaker 2: I was just gonna say, how in the world, Yeah,
- 31:45Speaker 2: Drew Barrymore, have any problem meeting someone?
- 31:48Speaker 1: The more qualifications you have as a woman, the harder
- 31:53Speaker 1: it is. That's for me, it's always been like it's
- 31:56Speaker 1: a handicap. So like being her, I mean, I don't
- 31:59Speaker 1: know what happened with in her last relationship and with
- 32:02Speaker 1: her divorce. I know she has two kids. But it's hard.
- 32:06Speaker 1: I mean, it's hard to date. And it's like what
- 32:08Speaker 1: we say, should she date a fellow celebrity shoes she
- 32:10Speaker 1: date another celebrity, or should she just date someone normal,
- 32:14Speaker 1: I mean, somebody just like a regular civilian that's not
- 32:16Speaker 1: involved in entertainment. Should she date a doctor or an attorney,
- 32:19Speaker 1: or she should date somebody that knows her profession and
- 32:22Speaker 1: would understand it, right like Travis with with Taylor that
- 32:27Speaker 1: they're both in the limelight, so they both kind of
- 32:29Speaker 1: understand each other Jennifer and Ben Affleck. Or do you
- 32:33Speaker 1: just want to date somebody that's not in the limelight
- 32:35Speaker 1: and that you know, lets you be who you be
- 32:38Speaker 1: or doesn't one part of that world? Like we don't
- 32:40Speaker 1: know the answer, you know, nobody knows the answer.
- 32:43Speaker 2: We don't know her, but you know about her from
- 32:45Speaker 2: knowing her since she was a child actresses. She's really great.
- 32:48Speaker 2: She's got a great personality, but she's an icon. So
- 32:52Speaker 2: only my opinion if here's this, don't kill me. I
- 32:54Speaker 2: think she should date someone totally non related to that industry,
- 32:58Speaker 2: because she's just too high up. Anybody that goes with
- 33:01Speaker 2: she is can't be as great as her. So I
- 33:05Speaker 2: think she should find, like you said, the doctor, the lawyer,
- 33:07Speaker 2: the architect, engineer, you know, more of a regular person.
- 33:09Speaker 2: But if she finds another celebrity, it's going to be
- 33:12Speaker 2: almost impossible to find Supue on her level, and that's
- 33:14Speaker 2: always going to be a problem for her. I agree
- 33:17Speaker 2: my opinion only.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, I feel like that's what has happened
- 33:21Speaker 1: like in Hollywood, you know, with a lot of the marriages.
- 33:23Speaker 1: I mean, it's already hard being her, and you know,
- 33:26Speaker 1: having a relationship with someone that's just as famous as
- 33:29Speaker 1: her is might be even more difficult. Sometimes it works,
- 33:32Speaker 1: I mean, I just think it's hard finding someone period,
- 33:34Speaker 1: whether he's famous or not.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Well, apparently, so she's on it.
- 33:37Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly, That's what I'm saying. It's I forget about
- 33:39Speaker 1: him being famous or normal or regular. I don't even
- 33:41Speaker 1: like to say normal, regular, regular, civilian, what is the
- 33:44Speaker 1: correct word before people call me out on that becomes
- 33:47Speaker 1: civilians It's okay, okay, So I just wanted to be happy,
- 33:51Speaker 1: and I just wanted to go out, you know, get
- 33:52Speaker 1: out there and date because she's young and beautiful and
- 33:55Speaker 1: I love her show and she's so funny. Well she
- 33:58Speaker 1: should be a funny guy. Yeah, maybe with a comedian
- 34:00Speaker 1: or something. I don't know. But anyways, don't come to Miami,
- 34:04Speaker 1: Drew because AK own break. Okay, so don't stay stay
- 34:07Speaker 1: in La. I don't know. Go to Europe. I feel
- 34:09Speaker 1: like every woman, I feel like other women that are
- 34:12Speaker 1: looking for somebody should go to Europe. I feel that
- 34:15Speaker 1: there's better quality men there, or at least more men there.
- 34:18Speaker 2: Well, now my only question is is she's still on
- 34:20Speaker 2: the dating app? What did she give up?
- 34:22Speaker 1: What? You want to see? You want to? You want to?
- 34:23Speaker 1: I don't know. She didn't she didn't say the dating app. No,
- 34:27Speaker 1: I don't think so. I mean, there are some dating
- 34:30Speaker 1: apps that are just supposedly for celebrities, but people have
- 34:33Speaker 1: figured it out that you don't have to be a
- 34:35Speaker 1: celebrity to be on it, and you just have to pay,
- 34:37Speaker 1: and then there's all kinds of dating apps. And but again,
- 34:42Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm hoping that she's just going to
- 34:44Speaker 1: walk into anywhere in La or anywhere shs in the world,
- 34:47Speaker 1: and she's going to meet her guy if that's what
- 34:48Speaker 1: she wants. I feel like a lot of women say, oh,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I want to date and I want to get married again,
- 34:54Speaker 1: and I want to do this and that, and it's
- 34:56Speaker 1: really not true because I feel like, if you really
- 34:59Speaker 1: want that, you go get it.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Like I said, surprise, she doesn't have it.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Well, you know who doesn't have that problem, Sophia ever
- 35:09Speaker 1: gotta Yama, Sophia v gotta Okay, she doesn't have that problem.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Go Sophia. Anyways, we got to see Grisella this weekend
- 35:20Speaker 1: and we absolutely loved it. I think she's this is
- 35:25Speaker 1: the performance of her career. Oh yeah, I love to
- 35:29Speaker 1: see her in a different light, you know, even though
- 35:33Speaker 1: it was a very hard movie to watch or hard
- 35:36Speaker 1: series to watch, but she did a phenomenal job. I agree,
- 35:41Speaker 1: super super proud of her.
- 35:42Speaker 2: It was a bold statement. She went after a very
- 35:45Speaker 2: controversial role and she did it, and she owned it.
- 35:48Speaker 2: In the end it worked out great, I think.
- 35:51Speaker 4: So.
- 35:51Speaker 1: I think it's something that she always wanted to do
- 35:53Speaker 1: because I can't imagine like her being you know, in
- 35:56Speaker 1: modern family for eleven years and having such a strong
- 35:59Speaker 1: character as Gloria was, and you know, and how she
- 36:04Speaker 1: portrayed it, which she was phenomenal at it as well.
- 36:07Speaker 1: It kind of like stays with you. It's like you
- 36:09Speaker 1: can never leave it. Yeah, so I think everybody's really
- 36:13Speaker 1: interested in watching her be someone else, you know, be
- 36:17Speaker 1: Griselda and not Gloria. Yeah.
- 36:19Speaker 2: She certainly went from one extreme to the other.
- 36:20Speaker 1: Yeah. Right, she went to be like the loving mother
- 36:23Speaker 1: and to be, you know, a mother but not so loving.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Even though that's controversial too because they say that Griselda
- 36:29Speaker 1: was a great mother and she did this for her kids.
- 36:32Speaker 1: I don't agree with that because part of being a
- 36:35Speaker 1: great mother is protecting your kids and it didn't seem
- 36:39Speaker 1: like that way. Don't ruin it. But if you see
- 36:41Speaker 1: the series, you know one because that's a great mother.
- 36:43Speaker 1: I'm sorry, you know, I know that it's been super overplayed,
- 36:47Speaker 1: you know, the Narco traffic I mean, this time around,
- 36:50Speaker 1: it's a woman, even though their husband other Griselda's. But
- 36:53Speaker 1: I love that a Colombian woman like Sophia Ragotta got
- 36:56Speaker 1: to portray her and she did a phenomenal job. I agree.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Do you think like watching the series, do you think
- 37:08Speaker 1: that it portrayed Miami in the seventies or eighties, or
- 37:11Speaker 1: you weren't here in the seventies.
- 37:12Speaker 2: I wasn't here.
- 37:14Speaker 1: You were in Staten Island.
- 37:16Speaker 2: I wasn't here. But someone told me that it was
- 37:19Speaker 2: mostly filmed in La So well, you're.
- 37:21Speaker 1: Not supposed to say that why it was filmed, No,
- 37:24Speaker 1: I know, baby, but we know it was filmed in LA.
- 37:27Speaker 1: But what I'm trying to say is they were trying
- 37:29Speaker 1: to portray Miami in the eighties. So I lived here
- 37:33Speaker 1: in Miami in the eighties and I actually, in nineteen
- 37:36Speaker 1: eighty four was sixteen years old, seventeen, so I was
- 37:41Speaker 1: just getting like a glimpse of that when we moved
- 37:46Speaker 1: to Madrid, Spain. And like I said, you know, my
- 37:49Speaker 1: mom was a party animal. She loved to go out
- 37:52Speaker 1: and go to the clubs and all that. So my
- 37:53Speaker 1: mom used to go to the mutiny, and you know,
- 37:56Speaker 1: I would try to hear her stories because you know,
- 37:58Speaker 1: back in the day, the kids didn't really listen to
- 38:01Speaker 1: these stories that or we didn't know what our parents
- 38:03Speaker 1: were doing, at least I didn't. It was always like
- 38:05Speaker 1: in the room and when there was a dult conversation,
- 38:07Speaker 1: you know, I wouldn't know the things that they were
- 38:09Speaker 1: talking about, but I think that it wasn't all of Miami.
- 38:14Speaker 1: But I do believe and think that that did exist,
- 38:17Speaker 1: you know, in the early in the early eighties.
- 38:21Speaker 2: And so what they did portray fantastic. The fleet of
- 38:24Speaker 2: cars they used, those Mercedes and Cadillacs and Corvettes and Porsches.
- 38:28Speaker 2: They had an amazing stream of cars all from the
- 38:30Speaker 2: eighties and it was perfect.
- 38:32Speaker 1: Oh I love those cars.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It's really cool to reminisce in the old cars and
- 38:34Speaker 2: see you know, people like those.
- 38:36Speaker 1: And even the wardrobe I thought was great. I thought
- 38:38Speaker 1: like all her outfits were like on points, it reminded
- 38:41Speaker 1: me of like my mom, Like that's how my mom
- 38:43Speaker 1: used to like what she used to wear, like to
- 38:45Speaker 1: go to the.
- 38:46Speaker 2: Mutiny and at the end of your mom used to
- 38:48Speaker 2: go to the same clubs that Griselda went.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Yeah, but my mom never liked any of that. Remember
- 38:52Speaker 1: Alm wasn't talked to the night club. Oh yeah, my
- 38:55Speaker 1: mom's like cocid to her. Yeah, Like my mom was
- 38:57Speaker 1: like Dora, you know, the doctor, the psych Hiatriss badass
- 39:01Speaker 1: with her catalog battle. But she liked the bad boys too.
- 39:05Speaker 1: You know, I guess I got that from her, and
- 39:06Speaker 1: she used to go like to those places. She was
- 39:09Speaker 1: a member of the mutiny and of regimes and.
- 39:11Speaker 2: It was a real club. Yeah, it's a real place.
- 39:13Speaker 2: So I guess that really was how Miami was in
- 39:15Speaker 2: the eighties.
- 39:16Speaker 1: But you know, I think that there was also a
- 39:19Speaker 1: lot of other stuff going on in Miami. Like I
- 39:22Speaker 1: hate to say that that's what Miami was all about
- 39:25Speaker 1: in the early eighties, because I want to believe there
- 39:27Speaker 1: was much more than that. I think what really what
- 39:31Speaker 1: changed Miami in the early eighties and nineteen eighty four
- 39:35Speaker 1: was in Mariel do Cuban Mariel, and unfortunately, a lot
- 39:39Speaker 1: of bad people were let out of prison in Cuba
- 39:42Speaker 1: and they came to Miami as well as a lot
- 39:45Speaker 1: of good people. So what Fidel Castro did was open
- 39:47Speaker 1: the jails and he lent out a lot of the
- 39:49Speaker 1: bad people, and he would let in like ten good
- 39:51Speaker 1: people and one hundred bad people. So I don't want
- 39:54Speaker 1: to generalize and say everybody that came in Marielle was
- 39:58Speaker 1: that type of person, but there were a lot of
- 40:00Speaker 1: people that came that were killers, and you know, and
- 40:03Speaker 1: then obviously those were the people that Griselda hired because
- 40:06Speaker 1: they used to kill for free in Cuba, so I
- 40:08Speaker 1: imagine they came to Miami. They were getting paid to kill.
- 40:11Speaker 1: They were getting paid to do what they love to do,
- 40:13Speaker 1: so that worked out for them. But during that time,
- 40:17Speaker 1: I moved to Spain. I moved to Madrid in nineteen
- 40:21Speaker 1: eighty four. And I didn't get to live that because
- 40:26Speaker 1: God knows. Some said, God knows, God knows what he does.
- 40:31Speaker 1: I got to live it a few years later. I'm like, okay,
- 40:34Speaker 1: you know what, I'm back. So I got to live
- 40:36Speaker 1: that a few years later. But I guess I wasn't
- 40:38Speaker 1: that bad, you know what I mean, because I never
- 40:41Speaker 1: got to live that. And it's scary, right, I mean
- 40:44Speaker 1: I was looking as I was watching. I couldn't even imagine,
- 40:48Speaker 1: you know, her as a woman like drug dealer and
- 40:52Speaker 1: having to deal with all these killings and making her
- 40:56Speaker 1: deals with like the men. But what really shocked me
- 41:01Speaker 1: was her children. That her children witnessed all that and
- 41:04Speaker 1: she got them into the business. Like, to me, that's alarming.
- 41:09Speaker 1: I just couldn't believe. I thought, for anything, I would
- 41:11Speaker 1: have gotten my children out of here and sent them
- 41:14Speaker 1: to like boarding school in Switzerland or like somewhere else.
- 41:16Speaker 1: But obviously she didn't have like the education. She had
- 41:18Speaker 1: the money, but not the education of the know how.
- 41:21Speaker 1: And I guess she thought that she was doing the
- 41:22Speaker 1: right thing right, keeping it in the family. No, say,
- 41:25Speaker 1: I don't know, but to me it was it was
- 41:27Speaker 1: really hard to see her kids in the middle of
- 41:31Speaker 1: all these killings and knowing that your mom is like
- 41:33Speaker 1: a drug lord and killing people and doing drugs like
- 41:37Speaker 1: the kids were doing cocaine. Also, I was in shocked.
- 41:41Speaker 1: That was I didn't know Griselda until watching this series.
- 41:46Speaker 2: She was a.
- 41:46Speaker 1: Badassah in a bad way. And you heard the quote
- 41:50Speaker 1: by Pablo Escobar, Uh huh, the only the only many
- 41:52Speaker 1: was ever first it was Griselda. Yeah, because she had balls.
- 41:56Speaker 1: She was like, oh man, she had a lot more
- 41:58Speaker 1: balls that I want to meno. Her transformation, like her
- 42:01Speaker 1: physical transformation, I didn't think was so much. You know,
- 42:05Speaker 1: I could still obviously see that it was her if
- 42:08Speaker 1: you didn't know her. But but I think that her
- 42:13Speaker 1: acting was so good that it surpassed all that. Like
- 42:16Speaker 1: that you actually saw her like a horrible person, like Riselda,
- 42:19Speaker 1: you know what I mean. You weren't so much into
- 42:21Speaker 1: seeing Sophia that's so beautiful in there. It's like you
- 42:24Speaker 1: saw an ugly person, not only physically because I wasn't
- 42:28Speaker 1: even seeing the physical part, but as a character. What
- 42:31Speaker 1: about you? Were you still trying to check out Sophia
- 42:36Speaker 1: her prosthetics and with her whatever, with her teeth.
- 42:39Speaker 2: I mean, she's still Sophia, so you have to figure
- 42:42Speaker 2: it's underneath that. It's not easy for her to dress down.
- 42:46Speaker 1: I mean, but don't you think she could have looked
- 42:48Speaker 1: you a little? To you in person?
- 42:50Speaker 2: Yeah, she's a beautiful woman, so chance it's not easy
- 42:53Speaker 2: to get that far down I guess right.
- 42:55Speaker 1: No, I mean some actors and actresses do it. Some
- 42:58Speaker 1: actors and actresses, you know, gained the way and they
- 43:00Speaker 1: put like the prosthetics, and they do the gray hair,
- 43:03Speaker 1: like you said, always select that white hair. You know,
- 43:05Speaker 1: they make they try to make themselves look more like
- 43:08Speaker 1: the character. But I applaud her that she didn't. She goes,
- 43:11Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not gonna do it. It's gonna
- 43:13Speaker 1: be like a better version of her. But what she
- 43:16Speaker 1: did do was portray her, which is more significant and
- 43:19Speaker 1: important as her character, because you really saw that Griselda,
- 43:23Speaker 1: that monster.
- 43:32Speaker 2: All right, so people want to know you had the
- 43:34Speaker 2: privilege you getting to Meeta like a meta, Yes she has.
- 43:38Speaker 2: I'll watch what Happens live, So I have two questions.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Part one is how did that happen that you got
- 43:44Speaker 2: picked or chosen one of up and watch what happened
- 43:46Speaker 2: live with her? And what was she like behind the scenes?
- 43:49Speaker 1: Good question, babe, that's two questions. Yes, I love the
- 43:52Speaker 1: two part questions. So I'll start with how I was selected.
- 43:57Speaker 1: So Sophia's team actually requested me to be on watch
- 44:02Speaker 1: what Happens like with her. So when I got that
- 44:04Speaker 1: notification that email, I was like, Sophia is asking to
- 44:08Speaker 1: be paired up with you. I mean, screamy life is
- 44:11Speaker 1: great enough because you love being Randy. But yeah, Sophia, yeah,
- 44:14Speaker 1: like heifa like hafa yell hefe. I was honest, sunded
- 44:18Speaker 1: by you know what I was like. First of all,
- 44:21Speaker 1: I didn't even care at that point where I was
- 44:23Speaker 1: sitting whether you know, I was like, okay, I'll be
- 44:25Speaker 1: like on the floor like just if it's so fair,
- 44:27Speaker 1: Like I don't care because I know people are like, oh,
- 44:30Speaker 1: maybe you know she's not going to say next to Andy.
- 44:31Speaker 1: I don't care. I was with la Hefa il hefe
- 44:34Speaker 1: Ila Heifa. I was humbled by her choosing me to
- 44:38Speaker 1: be on watch what Happens Like with her. I don't
- 44:40Speaker 1: think she's such a fan of reality TV, or at
- 44:43Speaker 1: least she doesn't follow it, you know what I mean.
- 44:46Speaker 1: And that's perfectly fine with me. I respect that, you know,
- 44:50Speaker 1: not like Jennifer Lawrence just a huge fan and other
- 44:52Speaker 1: you know, actresses that love reality TV. I don't think
- 44:57Speaker 1: that she was such a fan, but I do belie
- 45:00Speaker 1: that she liked me and she made me feel good.
- 45:03Speaker 1: You know. We were before we went on the stage
- 45:07Speaker 1: and to watch What Happens Like, before we went to
- 45:09Speaker 1: the clubhouse. We were outside talking and the dress that
- 45:14Speaker 1: I was wearing, the black dress, she had just worn
- 45:16Speaker 1: that dress in Madrid. So she's like, oh my god,
- 45:19Speaker 1: I was wearing that dress in Madrid when I was
- 45:21Speaker 1: doing press, blah blah blah, and I almost wore white.
- 45:24Speaker 1: So she wore a white dress and I was like,
- 45:26Speaker 1: oh my god, Sophia, I had a white dress, but
- 45:28Speaker 1: everybody here in New York got that I should wear
- 45:30Speaker 1: black and not white, So how funny would have been?
- 45:32Speaker 1: We would have both been wearing the white dress and
- 45:34Speaker 1: she's like, go change that, go change, and I was like, no,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I left it in the hotel. So, you know, we
- 45:38Speaker 1: got to talk a little bit, and she told me
- 45:41Speaker 1: she was very tired because this woman's been doing press.
- 45:44Speaker 1: She had been doing press in Madrid, London. The New
- 45:47Speaker 1: York was the third stop she had just come from.
- 45:49Speaker 1: All the morning shows. You know, people don't take into
- 45:51Speaker 1: account all these things I do because it's really hard
- 45:55Speaker 1: to be, you know, on point every single time. You know,
- 45:59Speaker 1: you don't know questions are going to be asking you,
- 46:02Speaker 1: you know, And in that case, I even sometimes think
- 46:05Speaker 1: her first language is Spanish. That by the way, we
- 46:07Speaker 1: didn't talk about that in the series. I loved that
- 46:11Speaker 1: she spoke so much Spanish and there were subtitles, you
- 46:15Speaker 1: know why, because Grisee spoke Spanish, so you know, she
- 46:17Speaker 1: really put got into her character. And the fact that
- 46:20Speaker 1: she can go from English to Spanish, I thought was remarkable.
- 46:24Speaker 1: And I love to hear the Spanish language on American TV.
- 46:28Speaker 1: You're welcome, and so the fact that she did that
- 46:32Speaker 1: and she did it so well, because I feel like
- 46:34Speaker 1: it's on Miami thing that we do that a lot
- 46:36Speaker 1: or you obviously by languages Columban Americans, so she was
- 46:38Speaker 1: able to do it. So I love to see that
- 46:41Speaker 1: in Griselda again. Back to Watch what Happens Live in
- 46:46Speaker 1: her doing press, you know, you don't know what questions
- 46:49Speaker 1: are going to ask you, you know, and every show
- 46:51Speaker 1: and every different show she was on, has a different format,
- 46:55Speaker 1: So I believe that she probably wasn't familiar with Watch
- 46:58Speaker 1: what Happens Live. It's a lot, you know, so there's
- 47:00Speaker 1: a lot going on. And the fact that you know,
- 47:02Speaker 1: she was there to talk about her show. I was
- 47:04Speaker 1: there to talk about my show. The house was at Miami,
- 47:07Speaker 1: so she was like what, But anyways, I had a
- 47:10Speaker 1: blast with her, and I apparently went her over because
- 47:15Speaker 1: she invited me to her premiere here in Miami, and
- 47:18Speaker 1: you know, we got to talk and you know, laugh
- 47:22Speaker 1: about everything. And I think once it was over here
- 47:25Speaker 1: in Miami, she was more relaxed. She can have a drink,
- 47:27Speaker 1: she can have fun, because it's a lot of hard work.
- 47:29Speaker 1: That's what a lot of people don't know how much
- 47:32Speaker 1: work and effort goes into this. By the way, she
- 47:34Speaker 1: also produced Griseldo. She's an executive producer. Her and valad
- 47:39Speaker 1: which is her manager. So and she told me by
- 47:42Speaker 1: the way that she had been preparing for this role
- 47:44Speaker 1: for fifteen years. She was always fascinated by the story,
- 47:49Speaker 1: and for fifteen years she's been preparing for this role.
- 47:53Speaker 1: So you know what, Sophia, Congratulations delomereesis. You did phenomenal
- 48:00Speaker 1: and and I wish you the best. I hope that
- 48:03Speaker 1: you continue to to prove. You know to everyone that
- 48:08Speaker 1: you can not only be glory and modern family, but
- 48:10Speaker 1: you can be Griseldo. Well, babe, are you getting more
- 48:14Speaker 1: used to and comfortable with being on the podcast?
- 48:19Speaker 2: The podcast is fantastic.
- 48:21Speaker 1: How did you feel good? Thank you for joining me.
- 48:23Speaker 1: I couldn't have done this by myself. What was I
- 48:24Speaker 1: going to talk to yourself? Okay, well, next time.
- 48:30Speaker 2: I appreciate having me hon as your guest co host.
- 48:33Speaker 2: It's been a thrill to try and fill in for Marisol.

- 48:38Speaker 2: for having me. It's been a lot of fun these
- 48:41Speaker 2: great topics. And when you get invited to Taylor's wedding,
- 48:44Speaker 2: I want to come.
- 48:45Speaker 1: Oh you'll be my plus one for sure, that's right. Okay,
- 48:49Speaker 1: love you guys, thank you for listening. I hope you
- 48:52Speaker 1: liked it. Remember Todd's knew at this with me. He's
- 48:55Speaker 1: really good in his socials and his videos podcasts. But
- 49:00Speaker 1: you prefer you prefer I put forward or you prefer
- 49:02Speaker 1: the housewives? What do you prefer the film?
- 49:04Speaker 2: I prefer going to the dentist to getting my teeth
- 49:06Speaker 2: drilled over the Housewise.
- 49:08Speaker 1: You're not supposed to say that, Okay, you said me,
- 49:11Speaker 1: are you right? No? You know the truth is, this
- 49:14Speaker 1: is a lot of fun and it's so powerful and
- 49:17Speaker 1: I'd love, you know, to do this with you. You know,
- 49:19Speaker 1: we're not going to take over our other husband and
- 49:21Speaker 1: wives that do this right other couples.
- 49:23Speaker 2: No, We're going to save that for you and Marisol,
- 49:25Speaker 2: for the besties twenty years of friendship. No, but I
- 49:28Speaker 2: think you can do it.
- 49:30Speaker 1: But I think this is cute too. Like once in
- 49:31Speaker 1: a while when Marithol can't do it, I have you.
- 49:34Speaker 1: I've had Peter before, and you know he stays in
- 49:37Speaker 1: the family.
