- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Welcome to Live Your Legacy.
- 0:05SPEAKER_03: Where every story holds a turning point.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: And every turning point holds the power of legacy.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: Well, grace and greetings, and welcome to Live Your Legacy, a Miss You Graham production, the conversational podcast where we explore how life's defining moments shape the legacy we leave behind.
- 0:29SPEAKER_01: I'm your host, Patricia D.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: Fordenberg, also known as Patty from New York, and this show is rooted in one simple truth.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Grief is not always about death.
- 0:38SPEAKER_01: Sometimes it comes through life's changes, losses, detours, and new beginnings.
- 0:43SPEAKER_01: And here we speak with entrepreneurs, authors, leaders, and creators who have turned life-defining moments into meaningful work and lasting contributions.
- 0:52SPEAKER_01: Because legacy is not only what we leave behind, it's what we are shaping and doing right now through vision, impact, and purpose.
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: And today I am honored to welcome our special guest.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Yes, Morgan Lynn, who is a somotic soul mentor, trauma-informed coach, and the creator of her sovereign way with over two decades of experience, guiding empath, intuitives, and soul-deeping feelers.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: She supports women in returning to their bodies, reclaiming their voices, and rooting into their personal power.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: Welcome, welcome to Live Your Legacy and where are you coming in from?
- 1:33SPEAKER_01: And thank you for being here.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: Over to you, my friend.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Thank you, honey.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Thanks for having me.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm calling in from Macon, Georgia.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Nice.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: This is gonna be a blast.
- 1:45SPEAKER_01: I'd love to get into it.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: So we're gonna get right into our first question, which I love to hear these answers.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: And would you agree or disagree that hindsight is always 2020 and why?
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh, I a hundred percent agree.
- 2:04SPEAKER_00: I feel like the reason I think that is such a truth is it's very difficult to see your storm when you're in it.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Because there is a bit of a you're hunkered down, you're in it, you're in the experience, you're doing your very best in the moment.
- 2:22SPEAKER_00: And so it's really when you come out of it and you get a little bit of distance, you can look back and go, Oh, that's what that was for.
- 2:31SPEAKER_00: Okay, okay, because you don't always see when you're in it.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: And I had a really great mentor say that sometimes you're in the jar, you can't see your own label.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: So when you're in, you can't read your own label, and that's why it's really important to seek support that can look at your label and go, I know what you're going through, I can see what this is for you, because then you have a bit of an insight, and then you can move out of that jar eventually.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: Wow, that was so good.
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: I love when I hear something I've never heard before, and I love the perspective that you gave, like when you're in the storm, but that jar, that was really thank you.
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: That was a golden nugget right there.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Can you take us back for a moment and share with us a pivotal moment that changed the direction of your life or work since we're talking about hindsight?
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: Oh, I've got a plethora of stories, but I will highlight probably the biggest one, the one that made the most impact in my life was 2022.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: I'm in the most successful year of my business.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: I've had my business for 20 years, this month, my anniversary.
- 3:41SPEAKER_00: I'm so happy.
- 3:42SPEAKER_00: But at that point, yes, thank you.
- 3:44SPEAKER_00: At that point, the most successful, the busiest I'd ever been, the most aligned I felt like I was, and then I hit burnout.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Burnout came in because I could not see that my inner people pleaser was running me in the ground because I was so enlivened, I was feeling so inspired, like I'm doing my purpose, I'm moving through this world and I'm making a difference.
- 4:11SPEAKER_00: But my people pleaser was running the show and I couldn't see it because I was in the jar.
- 4:16SPEAKER_00: I couldn't see how she had a grip, how that inner people pleaser was really running me down.
- 4:21SPEAKER_00: And so burnout happened, and it caused me to.
- 5:12SPEAKER_00: Because when you're when I'll speak for myself, of course, when I was in burnout, my world crashed.
- 5:19SPEAKER_00: I thought I had failed, I'm done.
- 5:22SPEAKER_00: Why do I even get to exist?
- 5:24SPEAKER_00: A lot of really dark days.
- 5:27SPEAKER_00: And now, because I can still feel the emotion around that, it's it was so pivotal.
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: And now being able to look back and see the hindsight of it, burnout was the gift that saved my life.
- 5:40SPEAKER_00: It took me out of the game, and I didn't realize again that I was I wasn't doing, I wasn't working in a sustainable way.
- 5:49SPEAKER_00: I was on my way to harm myself permanently because my energetic self couldn't keep up with that demand.
- 5:56SPEAKER_00: That burnout actually was the gift, and so now being able to look back, I'm here because everything got destroyed.
- 6:04SPEAKER_00: And so it's so ironic to speak about it like that.
- 6:06SPEAKER_00: But that that level of grief, that level of loss is actually what saved my life.
- 6:14SPEAKER_01: Wow, the poison was the antidote.
- 6:17SPEAKER_01: That's beautiful that you could see that because now you could I could understand why you're a coach with this because you could see it from the other side, you understand, you come from an understanding place.
- 6:28SPEAKER_01: So, who has been the most memorable mentor in your life and why?
- 6:32SPEAKER_01: And it may be more than one, and then go ahead and talk about it.
- 6:37SPEAKER_00: I'm laughing because my guides are laughing because they are my most memorable mentors.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: They've trained me, they've worked me in the beginning and the early years, right?
- 6:50SPEAKER_00: In the early years, they would wake me up in the morning and they would say things like, So today we're gonna play the game of judgment.
- 6:58SPEAKER_00: And then they would give me the rules of the game, and then I'd go out into the world and I'd play whatever they said, do whatever they said to do.
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: And then at the end of the day, they would say, Okay, what did you learn?
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: And how are you watching?
- 7:10SPEAKER_00: They were mentoring me through this whole vast experience of being a human.
- 7:15SPEAKER_00: Everything that I've learned is from them, and yes, life experience, of course, but they actively worked me.
- 7:22SPEAKER_00: So that I want to give them credit for that.
- 7:24SPEAKER_00: They did that, they took this messy girl of a chaotic people pleaser and just yeah, tore me out of that.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: A little bit more about the guides, though.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: I'm resonating with this.
- 7:37SPEAKER_01: Is this your spiritual guides?
- 7:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 7:40SPEAKER_01: So now I'm going a little off script here because I have a format with my questions if you follow the show.
- 7:46SPEAKER_01: But this I love when this happens.
- 7:48SPEAKER_01: This is this is times I live for right here.
- 7:51SPEAKER_01: So I have read a few books by Doreen Virtue.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: Are you familiar with Doreen Virtue?
- 7:58SPEAKER_00: I actually was.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: She was my very first teacher in 20.
- 8:03SPEAKER_00: When did I go to her class?
- 8:05SPEAKER_00: 20 2005.
- 8:07SPEAKER_00: I became an angel therapy practitioner through her.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, she was my Dorothy.
- 8:14SPEAKER_01: Oh, baby, thank you, guys.
- 8:17SPEAKER_01: Thank you, guys.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: Uh, I was feeling it, I was feeling it.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Thank you, guys.
- 8:22SPEAKER_01: That's beautiful.
- 8:23SPEAKER_01: And some people out there might be listening right now saying, these ladies are nuts.
- 8:28SPEAKER_01: These ladies are nuts.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: And that's okay if you think we're nuts, but I hope you get blessed with your guide because they're there waiting.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: There's so many unemployed angels.
- 8:36SPEAKER_01: There really are.
- 8:37SPEAKER_01: You call them angels, call them guides, spirit leaders, whatever you want to call them.
- 8:41SPEAKER_01: They're there, but they don't mess with your free will.
- 8:44SPEAKER_01: That's what's so beautiful.
- 8:45SPEAKER_01: You have to call upon them, and they're there to serve.
- 8:48SPEAKER_01: And this is what we're talking about, people.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: But thank you.
- 8:50SPEAKER_01: You so you were so you know what I'm talking about with Dorwing Virtue.
- 8:54SPEAKER_01: I was feeling you, I was feeling you, and I'm so happy.
- 8:57SPEAKER_01: And again, you might think, what is she talking about, courageous?
- 9:00SPEAKER_01: But again, because of the naysayers, that is courageous to come on live and say, My guides, so congratulations, God bless you.
- 9:10SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 9:11SPEAKER_01: I really that's a hooray from me over here.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I have absolutely no hesitation around that.
- 9:18SPEAKER_00: I am aware that I am not for everyone.
- 9:20SPEAKER_00: I am aware.
- 9:21SPEAKER_00: I embrace my weirdness, I have no problem with it.
- 9:25SPEAKER_00: So they there's no hesitation.
- 9:28SPEAKER_00: That relationship is solid.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: I love them, they love me.
- 9:31SPEAKER_00: We're a team, we're sarcastic together, they pick on me, we laugh a lot.
- 9:35SPEAKER_00: And so I there was no way I would not honor them in that way, of course.
- 9:41SPEAKER_00: That would be silly of me.
- 9:42SPEAKER_01: It's just so awesome.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: That's just awesome.
- 9:44SPEAKER_01: We got some love here from our live viewing.
- 9:47SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: We got Natalia Martinez Jordan really resonating with this message.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, right?
- 9:53SPEAKER_01: Isn't it great?
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: Don't you when like attracts like, because sometimes, and I think this is a human dilemma.
- 9:59SPEAKER_01: Again, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe you'll agree.
- 10:02SPEAKER_01: Thank you, Morgan, for sharing that information with the world.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: Because sometimes we think, wait, is it just us?
- 10:09SPEAKER_01: Maybe we are crazy, we get in our own way.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Like you thinking back in hindsight, we get in our own way.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: So when we could come together and say, wait a minute, no, there's confirmation, there's alignment, there's truth.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: We get excited and we get empowered again.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: So thank you for that.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you want to comment on that, but that that just got me really excited.
- 10:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I have always been outspoken about what I believe, what I follow, what I do, I walk my talk.
- 10:35SPEAKER_00: I'm always really vocal about that.
- 10:37SPEAKER_00: And I do that primarily so that people that feel like maybe they need to be silent or they need to squelch their powers or ability or intuition, they get permission to also speak about it.
- 10:49SPEAKER_00: So I am an open book.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: I will always speak about the experience that I have, my own experience in that way, because it gives permission for people to also have that.
- 11:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, nobody could take that out that away from you.
- 11:03SPEAKER_01: But we have to remember that.
- 11:04SPEAKER_01: That's the thing.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: We have to remember.
- 11:06SPEAKER_01: And I always say, even Tom Brady needs a coach, right?
- 11:09SPEAKER_01: Because we're human, we're gonna fall under default under our human dilemmas, and we gotta just practice does make better.
- 11:16SPEAKER_01: So, was there a revelation, personal motto, or lesson that helped guide your journey?
- 11:24SPEAKER_01: I'm sure this is funny, but what comes to mind?
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: I know, I know.
- 11:27SPEAKER_00: Literally, so this is where I'm checking in with my guides.
- 11:31SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what do you want me to talk about?
- 11:33SPEAKER_00: Before my relationship with them, and here's how it all started is I did not want to work with them.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: I was actively talking.
- 11:42SPEAKER_00: I'm surprised, not surprised, alone.
- 11:45SPEAKER_00: I don't want to be crazy, I don't want people to look at me funny.
- 11:49SPEAKER_00: I'm hearing voices.
- 11:50SPEAKER_00: I know, leave me alone, leave me alone.
- 11:53SPEAKER_00: And there was a moment when my son, he's 27 now, he was just born, so he was probably about three months old.
- 12:01SPEAKER_00: I'm having this little bit of a crisis within myself.
- 12:05SPEAKER_00: And in the meantime, I'm like pushing them away.
- 12:08SPEAKER_00: Stop talking to me, stop talking to me.
- 12:10SPEAKER_00: And I heard a woman's voice because I was worried about my son, and she goes, Don't worry, your son's gonna be fine.
- 12:19SPEAKER_00: And I heard it audibly, and I think that they're clever.
- 12:22SPEAKER_00: Here's what I love about guides is they show up in a way that they need to really be seen and heard from you.
- 12:28SPEAKER_00: They want to get your attention, but not in a way that's gonna shock you or harm you.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Her audible voice made it so that I could not ignore it anymore.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: Um, because I couldn't call myself crazy anymore.
- 12:43SPEAKER_00: So I'm just like, so that was the pivotal moment that I realized I was being stubborn and I relaxed and I went, okay, what do you have for me?
- 12:53SPEAKER_00: And then that's what set me on my path.
- 12:56SPEAKER_00: For I then found Doreen Virtue, I then started doing angel readings, I then started this and on and on.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: So 20 years later, I'm still guiding people through the dark forest, still being the light in the dark night of the soul.
- 13:11SPEAKER_00: And it's all because of that moment when I'm being a stubborn Aries and they're like, I'm not giving up on you, we're gonna do this.
- 13:19SPEAKER_01: And it was that isn't it funny though?
- 13:21SPEAKER_01: Isn't it funny how it happens?
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: And okay, that was like something very pivotal, but even let's just take it to business, let's just take it to the business world, right?
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: And I don't teach business, but let's just, for example, you're sitting at the coffee table at lunchtime, and one little thing just opens up a whole new world.
- 13:44SPEAKER_01: One little conversation that you almost took for granted all of a sudden can make so so that one little voice, right?
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: It changed your world, changed your light, changed your life, uh, your journey, all of the above.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: And I love that so much.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: And it you reminded me of the inner knower, right?
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Because there's a knowing, and then there's a knowing.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: And when you listen to that that inner knowing, a pastor, and I'm paraphrasing now, but I asked him, and again, we're non-denominal, I'm just using as a reference in the book of Proverbs and the book of in the Bible in the book of Proverbs, it refers to wisdom as a she, and this is totally going left over here a little bit from the normal format of the show, but this is an important message.
- 14:30SPEAKER_01: Wisdom, and I said, Why is it referred as to a she?
- 14:33SPEAKER_01: And again, I'm paraphrasing, but the message is this that wisdom gives birth to knowledge which is masculine.
- 14:41SPEAKER_01: Okay, so when you shared that story, you that was your wisdom knowing that you are not crazy, that was your wisdom knowing, wait a minute, this is my spiritual guide, and then it gave birth to the knowledge to action, the action to take on your new journey.
- 15:00SPEAKER_01: And this is how I'm interpreting it, but nonetheless, I thought that was an important message to reiterate because when something's important, it's worth saying again.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: That's so beautiful.
- 15:10SPEAKER_00: I really feel that.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: Thank you for that comment on that.
- 15:12SPEAKER_01: But I I said a lot.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, no, I love that because there's a wisdom is the reception, so that feminine, right?
- 15:20SPEAKER_00: We have it within, and you're right, we put it into action, so now it's change and movement and shift and do and create.
- 15:29SPEAKER_00: And so there's that.
- 15:30SPEAKER_00: I love the way you said that.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 15:32SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna sit with that.
- 15:33SPEAKER_00: That's beautiful.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Oh my gosh, I just realized, and this is what is so fun about lives, okay?
- 15:39SPEAKER_01: And for the listeners out there or the viewers, yes, we do edit nonsense words, okay.
- 15:44SPEAKER_01: We put a little cleaner version out on Thursdays, but this is what I love about the lives.
- 15:49SPEAKER_01: This is what makes them so exciting.
- 15:51SPEAKER_01: That it just dawned on me after you just were receiving that share, right?
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: That this is your area of focus is the feminine.
- 16:00SPEAKER_01: So I just think it's just so divine.
- 16:03SPEAKER_01: Divine guidance, our guides are working together right now.
- 16:09SPEAKER_01: Our guides are working together, as you say.
- 16:11SPEAKER_01: That's relaxing.
- 16:12SPEAKER_00: They're like, I watch this.
- 16:19SPEAKER_01: So getting back to the show, what would you say?
- 16:24SPEAKER_01: What would you say to your younger self today?
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Oh, oh, that little girl.
- 16:32SPEAKER_00: It always makes me emotional because I feel like I'm embodying the woman that I always hoped I would be without realizing I didn't have a blueprint for this.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: I didn't, I didn't know this was possible.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: And when I look back at my younger self, she just had to keep her head down and get through what she was going through.
- 16:51SPEAKER_00: And the messages vary.
- 16:54SPEAKER_00: What feels really true right now, and I'm gonna say this without crying, is that it really is gonna be okay.
- 17:02SPEAKER_00: It doesn't feel like it's gonna be okay, but it really is gonna be okay.
- 17:06SPEAKER_00: You are gonna make it through this, just keep going.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: Do not sway from what you know to be true for yourself, because that was always the guiding North Star for me.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: Is I knew something was wrong.
- 17:20SPEAKER_00: My family was very chaotic, and I was the truth teller.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: I was calling out all the things and I would get in trouble for it, but I knew it was wrong.
- 17:30SPEAKER_00: I knew this is not right, and so I uh just feel that chaos in my body, and I just love her and give her so much grace and honor for pushing through that.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: So just don't give up, don't stop.
- 17:45SPEAKER_01: Beautiful, beautiful.
- 17:47SPEAKER_01: Somebody needs to hear that.
- 17:49SPEAKER_01: So, what wisdom would you want your future self to keep holding on to?
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: That's such a beautiful question because I can feel my future self, and she's actually looking at me because I'm her past self.
- 18:06SPEAKER_00: So, where we just played, I'm talking to my past because I'm present, my future's looking at me and I'm her past.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: And I'm gonna really lose it if I don't move on.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: She said the exact same thing to me.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: Just don't stop, just don't give up.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Beautiful, beautiful.
- 18:31SPEAKER_00: Thank you.
- 18:32SPEAKER_01: And confirming, use your own advice.
- 18:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that it is okay.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: We it is okay when we how I feel is that when we align to what is true within, that doesn't always look like what the the masses want you to align to.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: There's comfort in conformity, but when you align to what is true for you, you cannot make a mistake.
- 18:58SPEAKER_00: It may not go with the grain, it may not go with the sea of people that want you to just fall in line and make things comfortable for people.
- 19:06SPEAKER_00: But when you stick to that, you are never making a mistake.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: It's always your divine right to choose that alignment over the comfort of conformity.
- 19:18SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's really speaks so much into purpose, right?
- 19:22SPEAKER_01: And we're the only ones that could speak onto it because we're the only ones that have that inner knower.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: So that's beautiful.
- 19:28SPEAKER_01: So, what does legacy mean to you personally?
- 19:31SPEAKER_01: Big question, but we're here to listen.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: Legacy feels like what is the what's the imagery that's dropping in right now is being an ocean wave that ripples through the world?
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: Wow, I like what is the ripple?
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: What is how are you affecting?
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: How are you blessing?
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: How are you offering this shift?
- 19:53SPEAKER_00: Everyone gets to take a piece of that if they like, but how are you offering it?
- 19:58SPEAKER_00: How are you standing in your truth?
- 19:59SPEAKER_00: How are you waving through and making those ripples?
- 20:04SPEAKER_00: That's the change I can see.
- 20:06SPEAKER_00: That little pebble can can ripple into many miles away.
- 20:13SPEAKER_01: That's so beautiful.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: I really I'm gonna take that as a gift because being that my area of focus is legacy as a grief consultant, that to me is a very special question.
- 20:23SPEAKER_01: It's very dear to my heart, hence the title of the show, Live Your Legacy.
- 20:27SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna take that as a gift.
- 20:29SPEAKER_01: So thank you, Morgan.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: Thank you, guides, thank you, show.
- 20:34SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna keep moving.
- 20:35SPEAKER_01: What do you want people remember most about the way you lived, worked, and served that I meant what I said.
- 20:47SPEAKER_00: There's a there's a real yeah, there's a really big truth in that for me.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: That there's a lot of my life where I'm a mess.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: I'm I have I don't have all the answers.
- 21:00SPEAKER_00: I sometimes have no clue what I'm doing.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: But again, there's this North Star that's guiding.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: I may not know where I'm headed, but I can align with I know it is the right direction.
- 21:13SPEAKER_00: And when I say what I say and I do what I do, I mean it.
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: It's not fluff, I'm not putting on a mask about it, I'm not trying to get your votes, I'm not trying to be the pick me girl.
- 21:24SPEAKER_00: I mean what I say and I say what I mean.
- 21:27SPEAKER_00: And there's a really strong integrity about that for me.
- 21:30SPEAKER_00: That to me, that's it.
- 21:33SPEAKER_00: If my integrity is intact when I die, I'm good.
- 21:37SPEAKER_01: I'm that sounds like a book title, by the way.
- 21:40SPEAKER_01: Isn't maybe it might be your next book.
- 21:47SPEAKER_01: I don't know, because that I really like the way that sounded too.
- 21:50SPEAKER_01: I I say what I mean, and I mean what I say.
- 21:53SPEAKER_01: That's a book title.
- 21:54SPEAKER_01: That that that's really good because it really speaks into integrity, and that's a beautiful way.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: Be remembered that really is so.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: If you could do it all over again, would you change anything, or did everything in the journey have a purpose?
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: See, this is a great question because I it's yes and it could be whatever you want, there's no right or wrong answers.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: So come on, tell us.
- 22:19SPEAKER_00: Yes, so every every second of my life mattered because I'm here.
- 22:24SPEAKER_00: I am who I am because of all that happened.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: Amen.
- 22:28SPEAKER_00: And would I want to go back and just know a little bit more?
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'd want to know a little bit more.
- 22:34SPEAKER_00: I got not to get dramatic, but I got kicked out of my house and disowned by my family because of the truth teller, right?
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: It's a big deal.
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: It's a big deal, it is.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: But there's a in my 20s and probably a little bit in the early 30s, I really was flailing.
- 22:51SPEAKER_00: I would have adored having a mentor, a sacred mentor.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: I think that's the only, even though I know everything is in divine order, my little human goes, Oh, I wish I had a teacher.
- 23:04SPEAKER_00: Because that would have shaved a lot of years off my journey.
- 23:08SPEAKER_00: And I I could have done more with my life, but I also at the same time go, and yet I don't know that I would have the this understanding of life and this understanding of divine order.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: It yes, and it's just like that would be amazing, and I don't know if it would change things, so I don't know that I want to touch it.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: Let me tell you, I I love your answer because you're allowed to answer that way.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: You're allowed, and I what I love about your answer is that you were not lying to yourself because like I've challenged myself with this question and I go back and forth, I go back and forth, and I finally come to pretty much where you're at.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: I'm like, I believe I'm here, everything has a purpose.
- 23:51SPEAKER_01: I'm I don't I wouldn't change anything now.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Right now, I wouldn't change anything, but I would be lying to myself if I if I said, Oh no, I wish, and I believe it wasn't meant to be, but I'd be lying if I say I didn't wish that didn't happen or this didn't happen.
- 24:07SPEAKER_01: I'd be lying to myself.
- 24:08SPEAKER_01: Now, would it have changed my destiny?
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: Maybe.
- 24:11SPEAKER_01: So I'm in agreement with you, and I love that you were brave enough to be like, no, you know what?
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: I do wish some things were different, but it's okay because I'm here now and I love that.
- 24:20SPEAKER_01: And if you're somebody who answers, no, I believe it was meant for me, and I'm glad I learned those lessons.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: Congratulations.
- 24:27SPEAKER_01: Nothing that's not wrong either.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: I'm just being honest with myself.
- 24:30SPEAKER_01: I'd be a liar if I say there are some things that I wished for.
- 24:35SPEAKER_01: But it's not the show's not about me today, it's about you, so I'm not even gonna get into those things.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: But thank you for being vulnerable and sharing because again, some people need to come out of their shell and be freed from those lies.
- 24:46SPEAKER_01: So thank you because, like sometimes you sharing your truth now empowers somebody else that you may never meet in your life, but are following divine purpose.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: So I appreciate that.
- 24:57SPEAKER_01: I don't know if you want to comment more on that, but otherwise we'll keep going.
- 25:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just one quick thing is that I think the way I look at it is I walk the line between the spirit and the human, meaning the microcosm and the macrocosm.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: I can see the totality of divine order, I can see how everything was put in place for my benefit on my path, and every person has access to that.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: I see the macrocosm, and I don't think that there are ever mistakes in that space.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: Then there's the pain body that I hold within my humanness, and that really hurt.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: That was really hard.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: And so the human can say, Oh, I wish it would have been different.
- 25:38SPEAKER_00: And that's true to the human, that microcosm individual moment of yes, I have regret.
- 25:45SPEAKER_00: I wish some things were different, I wish I knew more, etc.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: But I can hold both at the same time because I don't know that I would actually change anything, and then I can recognize, and that was really hard.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: So it's a yes and scenario with both worlds, both of those at the same time.
- 26:05SPEAKER_01: That was a great explanation of that.
- 26:07SPEAKER_01: That was really awesome.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: That was like a little teaching moment right there.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: And you just brought to mind Eckhart Tolli.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: I'm just saying, with the pain body.
- 26:15SPEAKER_01: I haven't heard pain body in a bit, but that that's real stuff.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: That's real stuff, and he's a doctor in this.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: So, you know, I'm not a doctor, but I share resources and information that I learn and share.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: But yeah, this is good stuff.
- 26:27SPEAKER_01: So we're getting to the top of the hour and our signature question here on Live Your Legacy.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: What is something about your journey that most people would be surprised to learn?
- 26:40SPEAKER_00: So I am weird.
- 26:41SPEAKER_00: I've already accepted that.
- 26:43SPEAKER_00: I've already added them, out of myself.
- 26:46SPEAKER_00: That's why I like you.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: Okay, go ahead.
- 26:48SPEAKER_00: I have the best hobby, and I think people are a little shocked when they hear it.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: So I am part of a paranormal team that we do investigations here in Macon.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: And we have two projects going.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: One is with VisitMacon, which is a local tourist group.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: So we do investigations around the town in some of the most beautiful historical places.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: And then I'm a part of a team on a podcast where we it's it's a marriage between podcasting and investigation.
- 27:23SPEAKER_00: And so it's called Echoes of the South.
- 27:25SPEAKER_00: Why I think it's people think it's weird, it's not weird to me at all.
- 27:29SPEAKER_00: It makes sense.
- 27:30SPEAKER_01: No, some people will totally think it's weird, but I'm fascinated by this stuff.
- 27:35SPEAKER_01: That's what it is for me because energy doesn't get destroyed, people.
- 27:38SPEAKER_01: This is a fact, it's not us up, it's not our opinion.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Okay, let's go, keep going.
- 27:45SPEAKER_00: So, in my living world, I'm an a trauma-informed coach.
- 27:50SPEAKER_00: I help people through their trauma, I help people move on where they're stuck and see the blind spots and get moving, get momentum in their life, right?
- 27:58SPEAKER_00: When I'm talking to the dead, it's the exact same thing.
- 28:02SPEAKER_00: They are stuck, they are consumed with grief or fear or guilt or shame.
- 28:07SPEAKER_00: It's still coaching to me.
- 28:09SPEAKER_00: It's just that doesn't matter if they're alive or dead.
- 28:11SPEAKER_01: So to me, it's a different entity.
- 28:14SPEAKER_01: One's a physical entity, one's a spiritual entity.
- 28:16SPEAKER_01: But nonetheless, wow, that's great.
- 28:20SPEAKER_00: I love it so much because I love helping them understand why they're stuck so that they can move on and go to their next right expression.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Yes, because they shouldn't be here, they shouldn't be in this this plane of existence.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: So it's because humans feel haunted, humans do feel haunted.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: So there are haunted houses, but the references unsettled souls.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: I'm not sure if I'm out of my lane right now saying these things, but this is my perspective on what you just shared.
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: So yeah, but fascinating, fascinating.
- 28:51SPEAKER_01: But now it's all about you.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: What are you doing now these days?
- 28:54SPEAKER_01: Where can we find you?
- 28:55SPEAKER_01: And I think I have something here we want to share with the world, your website, which is beautiful, by the way.
- 29:01SPEAKER_01: But tell us a little bit more.
- 29:02SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna scroll down and up this website.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: If there's a page, I should be going the link, open up the link, let me know.
- 29:08SPEAKER_01: But tell us a little bit more of where you are, what you're doing, tell us all about you, please.
- 29:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, thank you.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so lately I've really been focusing on helping women return to themselves.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: I feel like this world really sets women up for feeling disconnected from their internal wisdom.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: Again, going into that internal wisdom versus knowledge.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And women are celebrated when we self-abandon, when we give everything we have and we push and we cater and we rescue and we people please.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: We're actually celebrated in this society.
- 29:47SPEAKER_00: And I have just one really simple curiosity.
- 29:50SPEAKER_00: I wonder what a woman is capable of if she actually came back to herself, lived in her body, connected to that wisdom, connected to that intuition.
- 30:01SPEAKER_00: I wonder what a woman would be capable of.
- 30:03SPEAKER_00: And so that has set forth this really great purpose, this charge of creating her sovereign way, which is a women's group, that we in her sovereign way, we're addressing the self-abandonment, the parts of us that we feel like we have to put away, that we don't celebrate, that we have to be of service so that we are of value.
- 30:27SPEAKER_00: And in her sovereign way, it's a safe space for women to drop those masks and simply be and remember, and then find practical ways to disrupt that self-abandonment pattern so that she can come back to her body.
- 30:42SPEAKER_00: That's my big focus right now, and I am so in love with it.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: And you have retreats.
- 30:46SPEAKER_01: I see.
- 30:47SPEAKER_00: I do.
- 30:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's beautiful.
- 30:49SPEAKER_01: I love your website.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: We got some.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: I know I'm scrolling up and down.
- 30:52SPEAKER_01: Sorry if I'm making anybody dizzy here, but I'm excited to check it out.
- 30:56SPEAKER_01: We got some comments here.
- 30:57SPEAKER_01: Morrigan creates an environment where you feel safe and supported to explore, grow, and go deep.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: Forever grateful to Morgan and the work she does.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: You're not alone.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: She guides you while the journey guides you while on the journey with you, showering you with love, light, and support.
- 31:14SPEAKER_01: And we got some more love here from Nicole.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: Simply magical.
- 31:17SPEAKER_01: I did the work, reaping the bounty.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: My soul is singing.
- 31:21SPEAKER_01: Oh, I like the sound of that.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: And I love that you have some retreats up here on the top of your website.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: That's really cool too.
- 31:27SPEAKER_01: Tell us a little bit about the retreats.
- 31:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, each retreat has a different intention.
- 31:32SPEAKER_00: We're in October, we're doing something that is geared only towards intuition.
- 31:36SPEAKER_00: So we're really hyper-focusing on helping women find their dominant style of intuition.
- 31:43SPEAKER_00: I have a belief that everyone is intuitive, and we either have connection to that or it's just covered up.
- 31:50SPEAKER_00: So my goal is to help women uncover it so that they can see how their intuition works because everyone's works differently.
- 31:58SPEAKER_00: And so it's very tailored to help you find yours.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: If you have a grief retreat, you know who to call.
- 32:06SPEAKER_01: Yay! Yes, you know who to call.
- 32:09SPEAKER_01: I'm feeling that.
- 32:10SPEAKER_01: I'm feeling that alignment.
- 32:12SPEAKER_01: But thank you for sharing your goodness here, your website again.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Here is the website for all the audio listeners.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: It's www.morganlin.com.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: That's m-o-r-r I-g H A N Lynn L-Y-N-N-E dot com.
- 32:32SPEAKER_01: Otherwise, go to YouTube and watch the video version and you can visually see that.
- 32:37SPEAKER_01: But you know what?
- 32:38SPEAKER_01: With that being said, I want to hear some closing remarks for this beautiful day.
- 32:43SPEAKER_01: And thank you again for being here.
- 32:44SPEAKER_01: So take it away.
- 32:47SPEAKER_00: Yes, thank you for having me.
- 32:48SPEAKER_00: I feel like I want to be a space for women to remember who they are, to come back to themselves.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: Because this world is so geared to have women disconnect from themselves, it's time we came back.
- 33:06SPEAKER_00: Again, going into that conversation of what are we capable of if we actually just sat in our own body, held our own trauma, moved through our sticky points and our troubles, the things that want to hold us back, the blocks, the barriers.
- 33:22SPEAKER_00: What would happen if you actually knew how to move through those blocks in a sustainable way?
- 33:29SPEAKER_00: I believe in making things simple because we are we're already going to butt up against things that are uncomfortable.
- 33:37SPEAKER_00: Our nervous system believes that when there's discomfort, then we are in danger.
- 33:42SPEAKER_00: And I want to dispel that.
- 33:44SPEAKER_00: I want to teach women how to sacredly hold their discomfort so that they know how to move through it, so that it's never a block again.
- 33:55SPEAKER_00: And that's really for me what embodiment work is.
- 33:58SPEAKER_00: It's about knowing your own system, knowing how to move through your own triggers, how to sit with your own traumas and your wounds, so that they never hold you back again.
- 34:09SPEAKER_00: And so the work that I do in my one-on-one coaching, her sovereign way, and then the retreats and other things that I offer is always with that foundation.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: So if anyone is resonating with that, I love that you know there's a resource, there's a way through that.
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: Love it, love it so much.
- 34:27SPEAKER_01: This was great.
- 34:29SPEAKER_01: Thank you for being here.
- 34:30SPEAKER_01: I hope to see you again.
- 34:31SPEAKER_01: And with that being said, until next time, I want to say thank you for listening.

- 34:40SPEAKER_01: You can find us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcast.
- 34:48SPEAKER_01: And with that being said, until next time, God bless and live your legacy.
- 34:54SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 34:55SPEAKER_01: And you can check our show out too.
- 34:56SPEAKER_01: Here's our website.
- 34:58SPEAKER_01: And good night and good evening, good afternoon, wherever you are in the world.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: Until next time.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: Bye-bye.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: And every time we're close to the power of legacy, we're going to be able to do that.
