- Ben: Good morning and welcome to your short term rental bulletin on the 12th of June. So this is interesting, right? One midterm booking is worth about seven short stays. Same platform, seven times the value per booking. ⁓ before we break down the numbers in this, so across Rentals United's network last year, a standard short stay averaged around eight hundred and forty-five euros. A midterm stay, 30 nights or more, averaged closer to 6,000. Now, midterm is not a booming segment. Volume only grew modestly, but that is rather the point, right? A few long bookings can underpin a property's whole year. Fewer turnovers, fewer cleans, fewer empty nights to chase. And the regulatory angle matters now. A lot of markets, the rules that bite hardest are aimed at the short lets, right? Nightcaps, licensing, registration, push part of your calendar past 30 days, and in many places you sit outside the tightest part of the regime. Midterm will not replace your short-let income, however. But as a buffer, it is one of the quietest, smartest hedges you have. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you soon.
