Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: Drama, darling Drama, darling Drama, darling.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Welcome in. We are hot off the press today. We've
- 0:23Speaker 2: got a lot coming at you. Salt Lake City recap.
- 0:26Speaker 2: And before we get into that, we have the incredible
- 0:29Speaker 2: producer of the most amazing true crime podcast that has
- 0:33Speaker 2: just dropped called The Gilded Rage with Lauren Malloy and
- 0:36Speaker 2: Aliza Rosen. We have a lot to discuss about that
- 0:40Speaker 2: in and of itself. So let's first welcome our regular co-host,
- 0:46Speaker 2: Emily DeRezis. Hi, Emily. Welcome in.
- 0:50Speaker 3: Guys, hello.
- 0:51Speaker 4: I can barely speak because I've listened to The Guild
- 0:54Speaker 4: of Rage. I'm in my second listen.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Through and I've got a lot of ideas. All right.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Well, that's good, Emily, because guess who's here with us?
- 1:03Speaker 2: Aliza Rosen is back on the pod.
- 1:04Speaker 3: Hi, welcome in.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Drama darling, how are you?
- 1:07Speaker 3: I am shaking. I am physically shaking.
- 1:10Speaker 5: I'm physically shaking and I'm only on episode two. I,
- 1:14Speaker 5: you guys, I feel like I have been out of my,
- 1:17Speaker 5: you have to understand it's been almost three years of
- 1:19Speaker 5: doing this like on our own.
- 1:21Speaker 3: And now that it's in the world.
- 1:23Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:24Speaker 3: So now that it's in.
- 1:25Speaker 5: The world and everyone's listening and, you know, catching up
- 1:28Speaker 5: to what we've been doing.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Dealing with and investigating for three like it is.
- 1:32Speaker 5: The most surreal it's like i said to someone it's
- 1:34Speaker 5: like the longest pregnancy of my.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Yes right it has to be i mean then um
- 1:39Speaker 2: the daily mail huge article on the daily mail just
- 1:43Speaker 2: yesterday uh yeah the day it dropped monday wow yeah
- 1:47Speaker 2: so needless to say um ayr media strikes again i
- 1:52Speaker 2: mean And Aliza, this, I mean, you've done such great
- 1:55Speaker 2: works in the past. And every time you have a
- 1:57Speaker 2: podcast out or a show, what have you, you know,
- 2:00Speaker 2: you come on here, you come on here for fun.
- 2:03Speaker 2: And we talk about it. And I make you do
- 2:05Speaker 2: something in it, too. And I love it. And guess
- 2:07Speaker 2: who else is in it this time?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Holla!
- 2:10Speaker 5: Emily actually has a starring role.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I mean, I'm not, Amy, you know.
- 2:15Speaker 5: She does her thing, uncredited, because that's the kind of
- 2:17Speaker 5: A-lister she is. But Emily took over episode two. She
- 2:21Speaker 5: got into character. She took direction with coaching. I mean,
- 2:26Speaker 5: you kind of nailed it.
- 2:27Speaker 3: I'm not going to lie. Thank you.
- 2:28Speaker 2: I've memorized. I've already memorized some of her lines.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Stop.
- 2:32Speaker 2: No, I'm not going to say them. I'm not going
- 2:33Speaker 2: to do it.
- 2:34Speaker 1: And then I say them back to Amy.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yeah, we've been saying, right.
- 2:37Speaker 2: We've been talking and saying each other's like, re-portraying each
- 2:41Speaker 2: other's roles and we're just you guys it's wild i could.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Cry right now you don't understand how happy this makes
- 2:47Speaker 3: me i.
- 2:47Speaker 2: Don't you know what what we don't understand is how
- 2:51Speaker 2: you know you do this as a true crime producer
- 2:54Speaker 2: of a podcast um how you dig your heels into
- 2:58Speaker 2: something like this where it has lasted three years of
- 3:02Speaker 2: the investigation and And I don't know if the investigation
- 3:06Speaker 2: is over yet. Maybe you'll tell us. Maybe you won't.
- 3:08Speaker 2: But here we have now the podcast that has dropped.
- 3:12Speaker 2: How do you go this long? Like, I don't know
- 3:15Speaker 2: if you could just give us, you know, an outline
- 3:17Speaker 2: of the process here and then where it stands right now,
- 3:20Speaker 2: because after people listen to this, they're going to have questions.
- 3:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Oh, hell yeah.
- 3:25Speaker 5: And I hope that they get in touch with us directly, too,
- 3:28Speaker 5: because we want to hear all the questions. Well, how
- 3:30Speaker 5: can they get in touch with you? so with many ways,
- 3:34Speaker 5: we've got an email set up the gilded rage pod
- 3:36Speaker 5: at gmail.com.
- 3:37Speaker 3: We've got a Patreon.
- 3:38Speaker 1: We've got, we've got Instagram.
- 3:40Speaker 3: We've got Tik TOK. The Patreon is the gilded rage.
- 3:44Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 3:44Speaker 2: I just joined actually.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Yeah. It's amazing because you can listen to all nine
- 3:48Speaker 5: episodes of the 10 that we're going to drop ad
- 3:50Speaker 5: free right now, like today and people have, and they're
- 3:54Speaker 5: reaching out to us, which is incredible. And then, Lauren
- 3:56Speaker 5: and I, we had so much extra content that we
- 3:59Speaker 5: put out a bonus episode for each episode. So like
- 4:02Speaker 5: literally our first episode bonus episode is longer than our
- 4:05Speaker 5: original episode.
- 4:06Speaker 3: Oh, that's so cool. There's just so much to talk about. Yeah. Yeah.
- 4:09Speaker 2: And we get to hear more from you.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Because Lauren is like the narrator of this whole thing, correct?
- 4:15Speaker 2: She's the narrator.
- 4:16Speaker 5: But I would say by episode four, Emily can say
- 4:18Speaker 5: I kind of take it over.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Oh, you do?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:21Speaker 5: You're co-hosting. We're kind of co-hosting. That was never my intention.
- 4:25Speaker 5: I prefer to be the puppet master behind the scenes.
- 4:28Speaker 5: But once you become a part of the investigation, so
- 4:32Speaker 5: at a certain point, this became a real-time investigation. Like
- 4:36Speaker 5: we did our catch-up and kind of started telling the story.
- 4:39Speaker 5: And then all of a sudden it was like a
- 4:40Speaker 5: live investigation. And I'm like, Lauren, we have to record everything.
- 4:43Speaker 5: We have to record all of our Zooms, all of
- 4:46Speaker 5: our phone calls, like everything that's happening in real time.
- 4:49Speaker 3: Because it's unraveling. Wow. Yeah.
- 4:52Speaker 5: I mean, just now I was on a call with
- 4:54Speaker 5: someone who reached out to us who dated him in college,
- 4:58Speaker 5: the guy that's at the center of the podcast who
- 4:59Speaker 5: we call Jay. And- she had information for us and
- 5:03Speaker 5: she said, you can, you know, you can record the call,
- 5:05Speaker 5: but you can't use my name.
- 5:06Speaker 3: And I said, well, you've listened to the nine episodes.
- 5:07Speaker 5: You know that this is not exploitive and we're just
- 5:10Speaker 5: trying to get information and help law enforcement, et cetera. So,
- 5:13Speaker 5: you know, we are, I think that once you, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 5: do listen to everything, um, you'll see how layered the
- 5:20Speaker 5: story is and there's a lot going on, but everything
- 5:23Speaker 5: does interconnect. And, um, Um, the, and the short answer
- 5:27Speaker 5: to your question, is it unfolding now? Yeah, it still is,
- 5:30Speaker 5: which is why we're holding the 10th episode because, and
- 5:32Speaker 5: this is not to toot.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Our own horn. Like, I'm not like, look at us.
- 5:35Speaker 3: We're so awesome.
- 5:36Speaker 5: But because of the work we did, cause no one
- 5:38Speaker 5: else did it back then.
- 5:39Speaker 3: And frankly, no one else was really doing it today.
- 5:42Speaker 5: When Jason Clark, Sherry's brother, who was the girl that
- 5:45Speaker 5: was found under the bridge in Boulder, um, he reached
- 5:48Speaker 5: out to law enforcement before we ever met him, you know, and,
- 5:50Speaker 5: and asked them to reopen it and they looked at
- 5:53Speaker 5: it and they're basically like, yeah, like all the records
- 5:55Speaker 5: were destroyed. So like, there's just not that, it's a
- 5:56Speaker 5: really weird story and nothing does add up, but not
- 5:59Speaker 5: a lot we could do.
- 6:00Speaker 3: So what Lauren and I did.
- 6:02Speaker 4: Amy, you know, they think that her death is right
- 6:04Speaker 4: now ruled. There's a couple different pieces to this puzzle,
- 6:08Speaker 4: but one of the pieces is a girl that fell
- 6:10Speaker 4: off a bridge. But once you like Sherry quote unquote,
- 6:15Speaker 4: and then, but once you drill down on what seems
- 6:18Speaker 4: to be like, details at the.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Surface, you're like, how did this go down?
- 6:25Speaker 3: Wow.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Well, when you say records destroyed, that is not a
- 6:28Speaker 2: good sign.
- 6:29Speaker 5: Especially when it's done not pursuant to department policy.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Like we.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Yeah, we had one of the things like, you know,
- 6:37Speaker 5: I've come on before to talk about other shows that.
- 6:39Speaker 3: I've done, TV and pod. And as a documentarian, if
- 6:43Speaker 3: I may for a moment. Please do, please.
- 6:45Speaker 2: You may.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Indeed.
- 6:46Speaker 3: You may. Your honor.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Your honor, if I may.
- 6:51Speaker 5: If you pray for the things we have, like the
- 6:54Speaker 5: two boxes of just treasure trove of evidence.
- 6:58Speaker 3: We've got police reports. We've got depositions. We've got... Interrogatories.
- 7:01Speaker 3: We've got pictures.
- 7:02Speaker 5: We've got, you know, memos, screenshots. Literally, Heather Gay would
- 7:06Speaker 5: be having a blast right now with the amount of
- 7:09Speaker 5: receipts I have. If you wouldn't mind just giving a
- 7:14Speaker 5: very quick, brief outline or description about what the Gilded
- 7:18Speaker 5: Rage is all about.
- 7:20Speaker 2: If you want.
- 7:21Speaker 5: This is going to be like the montage of Angie
- 7:24Speaker 5: telling Mary about the girl's trip. You guys are going
- 7:28Speaker 5: to be like, hypocrisy and bullshit.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Bullshit.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Bullshit. By the way, honestly, an apt title. Betrayal. An
- 7:37Speaker 3: apt title.
- 7:38Speaker 5: The Gilded Rage, also AKA hypocrisy and bullshit.
- 7:41Speaker 3: Bullshit. Bullshit. Manipulation.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Manipulation.
- 7:45Speaker 5: Manipulation. I feel manipulated by this whole thing. So deflection
- 7:52Speaker 5: is just too much.
- 7:53Speaker 3: So, all right, I'm going to do this.
- 7:55Speaker 5: This is like, you know, I have been pitching shows
- 7:58Speaker 5: for 20 years and like, it's all about the elevator pitch. Like,
- 8:01Speaker 5: you know, you got to just hook them with the line,
- 8:03Speaker 5: get them. Like, I remember when I was at South, I.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Remember when I was at South by Southwest, honey, when
- 8:08Speaker 2: you were a budding documentarian.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yes.
- 8:11Speaker 5: I saw blank and I saw, and I saw Ben Affleck.
- 8:15Speaker 5: I literally was in the elevator, just me and Kara Swisher.
- 8:17Speaker 5: And my series Spy High with Amazon was premiering there.
- 8:22Speaker 5: And I was like, actually, this would be perfect for
- 8:24Speaker 5: Kara Swisher because she's like a technology.
- 8:26Speaker 3: That's what she does.
- 8:27Speaker 5: So this is all about like they were spying on
- 8:28Speaker 5: the kids through the laptops. So I had to, this
- 8:31Speaker 5: is the funniest thing, because I had to literally pitch
- 8:33Speaker 5: her in the elevator.
- 8:34Speaker 3: So it was an actual elevator pitch for like 30 seconds.
- 8:37Speaker 3: And I did it. I was like, okay, so here's
- 8:38Speaker 3: the story. Okay, sounds great. Here's my email.
- 8:41Speaker 4: Okay, bye.
- 8:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 8:42Speaker 5: All this is to say, I have not perfected the
- 8:45Speaker 5: elevator pitch. Well, let's have you do it. Can I
- 8:48Speaker 5: hand it over to Emily? Because I feel like Emily,
- 8:50Speaker 5: as an outsider, although now I feel like she's an insider,
- 8:54Speaker 5: could sum this up. I, by my own admission, because
- 8:57Speaker 5: usually when we do these podcasts, just to be clear.
- 9:01Speaker 5: I own a company. I'm an executive producer. I have
- 9:02Speaker 5: producers and writers and editors under me. I know the
- 9:05Speaker 5: story really well.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I get involved. I edit scripts. I edit cuts.
- 9:09Speaker 5: But I am not the primary person who's project, you know,
- 9:13Speaker 5: who is on boots.
- 9:14Speaker 3: On the ground, doing the interviews, writing the scripts.
- 9:16Speaker 2: This I was.
- 9:17Speaker 5: So as far as being able to step back and
- 9:21Speaker 5: do a great job, you know, I haven't figured that
- 9:24Speaker 5: out yet.
- 9:24Speaker 3: So I'm going to hand it to my agent, Emily.
- 9:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 9:28Speaker 3: I'm going to try and I don't want to bore people.
- 9:32Speaker 3: In the early 80s, with old money, a what? No,
- 9:36Speaker 3: this is so perfect. She loves the 80s.
- 9:37Speaker 4: In the early 80s, with old money, we see what
- 9:44Speaker 4: is now the Brat Pack of Rhode Island, the St.
- 9:48Speaker 4: Elmo's Fire guys, and they're assholes. And one of them
- 9:56Speaker 4: is potentially getting away with sexual assaults from Rhode Island
- 10:03Speaker 4: to Colorado. Now he gets to Colorado and there's a murder.
- 10:09Speaker 4: It's now 2026 and he's living his life and all
- 10:15Speaker 4: these women in his wake are facing just devastation on
- 10:19Speaker 4: different levels. And now we're going to find them.
- 10:23Speaker 1: That's too long.
- 10:25Speaker 3: Sorry.
- 10:26Speaker 2: That was amazing.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Good job.
- 10:27Speaker 5: That was actually a very interesting way. It was totally
- 10:32Speaker 5: different than how I would have... But now you're making
- 10:34Speaker 5: me like, wait, maybe that is the better pitch. I
- 10:36Speaker 5: got to get my arms around this one, guys.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I just don't want the brat pack to go down
- 10:40Speaker 4: for it.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Totally.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Listen, one at a time, babe. One at a time.
- 10:45Speaker 5: And I also want to make the distinction because I'm
- 10:46Speaker 5: glad you brought that up because there are a lot of...
- 10:49Speaker 5: I'm close to the age of all the people involved
- 10:51Speaker 5: in this story. So I'm, as Heather McDonald said, yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 5: we did Heather's juicy crimes yesterday.
- 10:56Speaker 3: She said, I'm 50 something. I said, I'm 50 something too. So,
- 11:01Speaker 3: you know, we all grew up, like we all went
- 11:02Speaker 3: to college in the eighties and stuff. And there were
- 11:04Speaker 3: tons of douchebags. I dated many of them, but this
- 11:07Speaker 3: is a different level. This is not just an asshole.
- 11:10Speaker 3: You know what I mean? Like this is a different
- 11:12Speaker 3: level of predator.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Dangerous.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I just want to be clear. Yes.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Dangerous.
- 11:17Speaker 3: So, Allegedly. Allegedly. Right. But I want to say that...
- 11:24Speaker 3: I don't know what I want to say.
- 11:24Speaker 5: I want to say that it's a complex story because the,
- 11:28Speaker 5: you know, we end episode one and I won't give
- 11:31Speaker 5: away the spoiler by saying there are no perfect victims.
- 11:33Speaker 5: And so it turns out that the woman that brings
- 11:35Speaker 5: us in the match that lights the fire, if you will,
- 11:37Speaker 5: her name is Penny McGee. She's a very complicated person
- 11:40Speaker 5: with troubles of her own. And that's just an incredible
- 11:44Speaker 5: bombshell that we find out.
- 11:45Speaker 4: Why does she have those troubles? I mean, this is
- 11:48Speaker 4: where I get back to you. There's no perfect victim
- 11:51Speaker 4: because Penny, something fucking happened to them.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Right. Well, and that's why, like, the larger picture here,
- 11:56Speaker 5: and it's obviously so relevant today with everything going on
- 11:59Speaker 5: in the culture, especially on college campuses, is, like, nobody's
- 12:02Speaker 5: really looking at the bigger picture. Not like, oh, what
- 12:04Speaker 5: did she text?
- 12:05Speaker 3: What did she say? Why didn't she report it?
- 12:08Speaker 5: It's that trauma equals trauma.
- 12:10Speaker 3: People hurt people, hurt people. Like, you know, like, it's all... Yeah.
- 12:13Speaker 5: People, you know, it's, it's even the Sandra Birchmore case.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I don't know if you guys are looking at that
- 12:18Speaker 5: at all. And it's going on in, of course, where else?
- 12:20Speaker 3: Massachusetts. It's a long thing.
- 12:22Speaker 5: But anyway, it's like, this is a girl with a
- 12:23Speaker 5: very hard life who was groomed by all these guys
- 12:26Speaker 5: from a young age.
- 12:27Speaker 3: And it's like, well, why was she vulnerable to these guys? Well,
- 12:29Speaker 3: look at her childhood.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Like everything is connected and. it's very hard to find
- 12:35Speaker 5: a perfect victim. And that's why. And so anyway, I
- 12:39Speaker 5: just think it tells a macro, a micro story. And
- 12:43Speaker 5: our goal is justice. It's always been our goal. And
- 12:47Speaker 5: we try to be as journalistic about it. We don't
- 12:50Speaker 5: approach it as like 60 minutes. I mean, I happen
- 12:52Speaker 5: to have a master's in journalism, but I'm a producer.
- 12:55Speaker 3: I'm not a journalist.
- 12:56Speaker 5: So We try to give the facts and obviously it's
- 12:59Speaker 5: been legally vetted up and down. So there's a lot
- 13:01Speaker 5: of things we can't say and we have to be
- 13:02Speaker 5: really careful. Like I said, we're not using his real name,
- 13:04Speaker 5: but we believe there are more victims. We want those
- 13:08Speaker 5: victims to come forward. But obviously we're also producing entertainment, right?
- 13:12Speaker 5: Like not exploitive entertainment, but we're telling a story that
- 13:15Speaker 5: has to keep you hooked. But it has a purpose.
- 13:18Speaker 5: That's what I appreciate about this.
- 13:20Speaker 2: And the purpose is, like you said, it couldn't be
- 13:23Speaker 2: a better time because now is the time and it
- 13:25Speaker 2: should have always been. but to give women empowerment and
- 13:29Speaker 2: bravery to speak out for something that may have happened
- 13:32Speaker 2: a long time ago, and or for something they may
- 13:35Speaker 2: have seen or heard about. It's never too late. And
- 13:39Speaker 2: I think that that's an important message for for women
- 13:42Speaker 2: to hear and for any victim for that matter. So
- 13:45Speaker 2: that's why I feel like I know that Aliza, you've
- 13:47Speaker 2: always championed victims, You've always championed that above the entertainment
- 13:53Speaker 2: aspect of it because you really are fighting for the
- 13:55Speaker 2: justice of the people.
- 13:58Speaker 3: So this is where.
- 14:00Speaker 2: I think that this is such a, it's just a
- 14:02Speaker 2: bizarre and fascinating story. And I haven't even scratched the surface,
- 14:07Speaker 2: but it is called The Gilded Rage. And the first
- 14:11Speaker 2: two episodes are on anywhere you can listen to podcasts.
- 14:15Speaker 2: You can get that there. Like Aliza said, if you
- 14:17Speaker 2: want to listen to all the episodes that have dropped, nine,
- 14:20Speaker 2: excluding the 10th right now, you can listen ad-free over
- 14:24Speaker 2: on their Patreon. Join the Patreon.
- 14:27Speaker 3: Yeah. I swear we're giving you guys so much good stuff.
- 14:30Speaker 3: I know.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I'm in there.
- 14:33Speaker 3: I'm listening there.
- 14:35Speaker 1: In my second listen through, I've listened to the bonus episodes.
- 14:38Speaker 2: Yeah, Emily, if you could just turn off the Patreon
- 14:40Speaker 2: in the background, that'd be great.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I need to listen to the bonus ep again.
- 14:46Speaker 2: But it is the Gilded Rage, patreon.com slash the Gilded Rage.
- 14:51Speaker 2: So head on over there.
- 14:52Speaker 5: I have a new respect for what you kiddos do.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Like all this recording, I'm exhausted.
- 14:56Speaker 3: Us?
- 14:57Speaker 5: Us.
- 14:58Speaker 1: You're over there fucking.
- 15:00Speaker 3: Emily, let's see. Can I? Thank you, Aliza. I thank you.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I appreciate it. She's had three years.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Okay.
- 15:08Speaker 2: She's fine, Emily.
- 15:10Speaker 3: But all the like.
- 15:11Speaker 5: Recording stuff and you know i luckily have an amazing
- 15:14Speaker 5: social media woman helping i mean i could never do
- 15:16Speaker 5: it she's handling helping us with the patreon but it
- 15:19Speaker 5: is a lot of work you guys i get it
- 15:21Speaker 5: and i am.
- 15:24Speaker 2: Really here to speak to justice as well when it
- 15:27Speaker 2: comes to uploading and editing and recording and just like
- 15:32Speaker 2: neon lights in the back.
- 15:34Speaker 5: You know well wait a minute hold on because amy
- 15:37Speaker 5: does a lot of work That's what I'm saying. And
- 15:39Speaker 5: I came to the expert herself, Miss Amy Phillips, about
- 15:42Speaker 5: the Patreon, what, six months ago or something.
- 15:44Speaker 3: I'm like, I don't know. How do you do it?
- 15:47Speaker 3: Explain everything. Explain Patreon to me.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Oh, God.
- 15:49Speaker 3: Because I was just like clueless. Obviously, I'm a subscriber,
- 15:51Speaker 3: but I don't know how. And actually, they make it
- 15:53Speaker 3: really easy. Actually, it's very easy.
- 15:56Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:57Speaker 2: It's not as intimidating as a platform as you think
- 16:00Speaker 2: to be a member and also to be a creator.
- 16:03Speaker 2: And that's what I love about it. And it's getting
- 16:05Speaker 2: better and better every day. Yeah. Have you done quips yet?
- 16:08Speaker 5: I was just going to say, I can't wait for
- 16:10Speaker 5: our first quips.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, that's great. Because that'll be really nice for
- 16:14Speaker 2: the insiders of Patreon who like true crime, and they'll
- 16:17Speaker 2: be able to see that if they're not subscribing, and
- 16:20Speaker 2: then they can hear about it that way. Okay, so, God, Aliza, congratulations.
- 16:25Speaker 2: We're really happy for you and your huge project that
- 16:29Speaker 2: you've just undertook and that will continue to go, I
- 16:31Speaker 2: wonder for how long. But three years in, congratulations.
- 16:34Speaker 1: Wonder for how long.
- 16:36Speaker 4: It will never end. This is just pulling the first string.
- 16:41Speaker 4: We are going to take them all down. This is action,
- 16:46Speaker 4: not entertainment.
- 16:49Speaker 5: I love that Emily's become part of the team because
- 16:52Speaker 5: now I can.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Honestly. No, we need to bring it all down. We
- 17:02Speaker 3: need to burn it all down, babes.
- 17:04Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:04Speaker 3: I appreciate both your support.
- 17:05Speaker 5: I appreciate you both being in it with your incredible
- 17:08Speaker 5: voices and just being my cheerleader and being the most
- 17:11Speaker 5: hilarious people that I love to listen to every week.
- 17:14Speaker 3: So love you, love you, love you.
- 17:15Speaker 2: We love you too.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:24Speaker 2: I have to tell you guys about something that's happening
- 17:26Speaker 2: in my house right now that's giving me so much joy.
- 17:28Speaker 2: tin can. Have you heard of it? It's a phone,
- 17:33Speaker 2: a landline phone.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So my daughter has wanted a tin can for, I
- 17:39Speaker 2: am not exaggerating, about a year because some of her
- 17:42Speaker 2: friends have them. She's been asking about it. I've been
- 17:46Speaker 2: putting it off.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Well, guess what?
- 17:48Speaker 2: We finally got one and you guys, she absolutely loves it.
- 17:52Speaker 2: And I think I might love it even more because
- 17:54Speaker 2: it's If you haven't seen Tin Can yet, it's basically
- 17:57Speaker 2: this adorable retro landline phone for kids. No screen, no texting,
- 18:03Speaker 2: no algorithms. It's literally just a phone being a phone,
- 18:07Speaker 2: which apparently is now revolutionary. I had to teach my
- 18:10Speaker 2: daughter how to pick up the phone and say hello.
- 18:12Speaker 2: And also how to leave a voicemail. Like you guys,
- 18:16Speaker 2: it's amazing. And here's the part that I was not expecting.
- 18:20Speaker 2: I'm watching my daughter experience all these little things that
- 18:23Speaker 2: were such a huge part of my childhood. The phone
- 18:27Speaker 2: rings like a phone on the hook. She hears it.
- 18:31Speaker 2: She goes running to answer it because she has no
- 18:33Speaker 2: idea who it is. It could be one of her friends.
- 18:37Speaker 2: It could be one of her family members. She's not sure.
- 18:39Speaker 2: But do you remember that? You just answer the phone.
- 18:42Speaker 2: And the other day I looked over and she was
- 18:44Speaker 2: talking on her tin can, twirling herself up in the
- 18:47Speaker 2: phone cord. You guys, I almost died. I was like, wow,
- 18:51Speaker 2: that's me. It is the cutest, strangest little time warp.
- 18:55Speaker 2: And this is my iPad loving child, okay? Who knew
- 18:58Speaker 2: that a retro phone with a cord would be this exciting?
- 19:02Speaker 2: And what I love is she's actually talking to people.
- 19:04Speaker 2: She's been calling her grandparents more and having these real
- 19:07Speaker 2: conversations with them. And she gets that little bit of independence. Well,
- 19:11Speaker 2: I still get the parental controls. With Tin Can, kids
- 19:14Speaker 2: can only call or receive calls from people on the
- 19:17Speaker 2: approved contact list. Calling other Tin Cans and 911 is
- 19:22Speaker 2: always free with no subscription required. And with the party
- 19:26Speaker 2: line plan, kids can also call pre-approved non-Tin Can members.
- 19:31Speaker 2: So grandma, grandpa, mom, cell, whoever you approve. They have
- 19:35Speaker 2: speed dial buttons, an answering machine, which I predict will
- 19:39Speaker 2: eventually become a source of absolute chaos with their friends.
- 19:41Speaker 2: And they come in these amazing, cool colors that actually
- 19:44Speaker 2: feel like something kids would pick for themselves. What's old
- 19:47Speaker 2: is new again, and our kids... are enjoying it. So
- 19:52Speaker 2: even if you don't have kids, tell your friends. Tell
- 19:54Speaker 2: your friends who have kids. If you want to give
- 19:56Speaker 2: a gift to a kid, give this gift. I absolutely
- 20:00Speaker 2: love this thing. Go to tincan.com slash drama to get
- 20:03Speaker 2: $ 10 off your first order. exclusive for my listeners. That's
- 20:07Speaker 2: tin can.com slash drama for $ 10 off. And when you
- 20:11Speaker 2: use my link, you're supporting my show. So thank you
- 20:14Speaker 2: for that tin can.com slash drama. All right, so why
- 20:22Speaker 2: don't we get into Salt Lake City? I just have
- 20:27Speaker 2: one question. Um, Mary, when she decided in life that
- 20:33Speaker 2: the people that she would trust in the most and
- 20:37Speaker 2: that would support her the most, among others, excluding the
- 20:40Speaker 2: church friends, excluding anyone else, would be the real housewives,
- 20:44Speaker 2: and she's disappointed, should we have pulled her aside before
- 20:48Speaker 2: to tell her that was inevitable? Should we have pulled
- 20:50Speaker 2: her aside? I just feel bad because nothing these gals
- 20:54Speaker 2: are going to do around Mary is going to be
- 20:55Speaker 2: good enough, and they're just going to bring her down.
- 20:57Speaker 3: And I did.
- 20:59Speaker 2: They can't keep it together, even for the sake of Mary.
- 21:03Speaker 2: And she's come out of the house at least two
- 21:04Speaker 2: or three times on this episode, God love her. And
- 21:07Speaker 2: here they are fighting and just manipulation, hypocrisy, and bullshit.
- 21:14Speaker 2: Poor Mary.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Poor Mary. She was spreading shit by the end of
- 21:19Speaker 1: the episode at the dinner.
- 21:21Speaker 3: That was so hard. Guys, that's the hard thing.
- 21:26Speaker 5: Like, I think we need a disclaimer, which is like, It's,
- 21:29Speaker 5: she's put us in a tough position here and they,
- 21:32Speaker 5: she's put the ladies in a tough position. And listen,
- 21:34Speaker 5: like my heart breaks in half for Mary. Obviously this
- 21:37Speaker 5: is so horrible, but you're.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Still coming on the show and doing the job of
- 21:43Speaker 3: a housewife. So- Yeah. It's kind of like, what are
- 21:47Speaker 3: we supposed to do here?
- 21:49Speaker 2: Just all get along and- I know.
- 21:52Speaker 3: You know, kumbaya. We're still on a horrible, crazy show.
- 21:57Speaker 6: It is.
- 21:57Speaker 2: But I do like the angle of just Mary coming
- 22:00Speaker 2: in and being like, you disappoint.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Me, all of you.
- 22:04Speaker 3: She's like, Whitney, you need to pull your shit together.
- 22:07Speaker 3: I'm like, yes.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I love it.
- 22:08Speaker 3: Somebody has to say it.
- 22:09Speaker 2: They're all like- I do love it.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Around the table. That's the thing.
- 22:12Speaker 5: None of them can talk back to her. She kind
- 22:13Speaker 5: of has them where she wants them now. I know.
- 22:16Speaker 3: When you say to a woman who's lost her child,
- 22:18Speaker 3: like you cannot say anything.
- 22:19Speaker 2: You better not. And in fact, so the fact, the
- 22:22Speaker 2: funny thing is, is that at that dinner, uh, well,
- 22:27Speaker 2: a lunch, actually the lunch with the flowers where she
- 22:31Speaker 2: was like, lower the flowers and like, okay. And I'm like,
- 22:33Speaker 2: how are you going to lower the flowers right now?
- 22:36Speaker 3: Do you know what I'm saying? I didn't get that either.
- 22:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah.
- 22:39Speaker 1: It was on a level, but they did it.
- 22:42Speaker 2: Did they really? Because I looked. Did it look lower?
- 22:44Speaker 1: Oh, she was pleased with the levels.
- 22:47Speaker 2: I don't think they did it, but I hope they...
- 22:50Speaker 2: I was blown away. I thought, this is how professionals
- 22:53Speaker 2: handle people who have high demands. They just agree.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Maybe they didn't do anything.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 2: And then they just hope that they'll forget because inevitably
- 23:01Speaker 2: they'll probably forget. Because I'm looking at the flowers and
- 23:04Speaker 2: I'm going, how would you have lowered those? Because would
- 23:07Speaker 2: you have time to cut each individual... you know, bouquet
- 23:12Speaker 2: or rather arrangement.
- 23:16Speaker 3: No.
- 23:16Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:16Speaker 4: I just assumed they were on like levels and then
- 23:19Speaker 4: they took a level out. That's what I thought happened.
- 23:22Speaker 4: And then I just moved on. See how I'm moving
- 23:25Speaker 4: my desk?
- 23:25Speaker 1: Like a standing desk?
- 23:27Speaker 3: That's amazing. And now I'm moving down. Do you notice
- 23:29Speaker 3: I'm changing my levels? No problemo.
- 23:33Speaker 1: That's why she's the centerpiece. You're the centerpiece, Elisa.
- 23:37Speaker 2: Oh, God, that was a great visual. It's like somebody
- 23:39Speaker 2: doing the elevator when they're just like, I'll be right back.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Or the escalator. Maddie does that a lot.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Often can be seen in the back of the Patreon
- 23:48Speaker 2: videos doing that. She's so cute. But, yeah, I did
- 23:53Speaker 2: love Mary coming in and just having a boss bitch
- 23:56Speaker 2: brunch and, you know, Referencing herself as the matriarchal elephant
- 24:01Speaker 2: that needs to get these little elephants in line. So
- 24:04Speaker 2: I was very happy about it. And I was also
- 24:09Speaker 2: kind of like, in the confessional, when it comes to clothes,
- 24:14Speaker 2: can we talk about Ashley Kwai's very wild- YMCA?
- 24:19Speaker 5: Yeah, this- Her look is so great. It honestly might
- 24:23Speaker 5: be crazy. Guys, is it the craziest look we've ever seen?
- 24:26Speaker 2: Okay, remember when- It's up there. Yeah, it is definitely
- 24:29Speaker 2: up there.
- 24:30Speaker 5: I couldn't think of like, I mean, we've had some
- 24:31Speaker 5: wild ones, but that one might, every time she came on,
- 24:34Speaker 5: I was just too lazy to pick up my phone
- 24:35Speaker 5: and take a picture and send it to you guys.
- 24:37Speaker 3: But I wanted to be like, I have never laughed.
- 24:39Speaker 5: She could be telling the most horrible, like saddest story now,
- 24:41Speaker 5: and I'm just cracking up. And then when she's so serious,
- 24:46Speaker 5: because the producer's like, Well, did you say that about Meredith?
- 24:50Speaker 2: And she's like, oh, I just, oh. And so somebody's
- 24:53Speaker 2: caught wearing like black latex and a chauffeur's hat. It's
- 24:59Speaker 2: like takes on a whole new meaning of entertainment.
- 25:01Speaker 3: That was so good.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Because it's so costumey.
- 25:03Speaker 3: It's like.
- 25:04Speaker 4: You know, Erika Jayne comes in with some wild looks,
- 25:07Speaker 4: but this just feels on a different, it just feels
- 25:11Speaker 4: like a costume.
- 25:12Speaker 5: I don't understand the choice.
- 25:14Speaker 3: It is Halloween.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Do you remember when Dorit and PK were in a
- 25:17Speaker 2: like a dual confessional and they look kind of.
- 25:20Speaker 3: Like Bugs, Clyde, Bonnie and Clyde.
- 25:23Speaker 2: Bonnie and Clyde.
- 25:24Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 25:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Like it was Bugsy and Claudette. Claudette.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Claudette Colbert.
- 25:30Speaker 5: Do you guys, when I look at Clyde, do you
- 25:32Speaker 5: guys see Katherine Heigl a little bit?
- 25:35Speaker 3: Oh. I mean, just the face. Sure. Yeah, a little bit.
- 25:39Speaker 3: I can see it in the lips.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I feel it.
- 25:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 25:43Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't understand.
- 25:44Speaker 4: I think why, I don't know if she'll get a
- 25:48Speaker 4: second season, but I think we need her to have
- 25:51Speaker 4: a second season.
- 25:53Speaker 2: Because right now she's not, she hasn't agreed to take
- 25:55Speaker 2: down Meredith.
- 25:55Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:59Speaker 4: I only say she won't be back for a second
- 26:00Speaker 4: season because I don't think she needs the money one
- 26:02Speaker 4: and two. I don't think she likes this. She doesn't
- 26:05Speaker 4: seem to be enjoying it at all.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Judging on that confessional, she's having a blast.
- 26:12Speaker 3: Well, that's the part she likes, I think. Yeah, that's
- 26:14Speaker 3: the part she likes.
- 26:15Speaker 4: I think she likes the outfits and like the idea.
- 26:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:20Speaker 6: Okay.
- 26:20Speaker 3: Not the being in it. I mean, this is great.
- 26:22Speaker 3: It's gladiators. Like these girls, I mean, they are, I
- 26:25Speaker 3: think they're the wildest cast we've ever had. I really do.
- 26:28Speaker 2: Even without Jen Shah.
- 26:31Speaker 5: Yes, that's the craziest part.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the surprise.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Yeah, like they've only ratcheted it up more.
- 26:39Speaker 4: When they were at that bar and they are in
- 26:42Speaker 4: when they were still in San Francisco and they're fighting,
- 26:45Speaker 4: but then they make up, but they're all like agreeing
- 26:48Speaker 4: to like, I guess that happens, but I've never seen
- 26:52Speaker 4: it in real time where it's like, oh, wow. We're
- 26:55Speaker 4: not fighting anymore. Everything's cool. We're just putting that on pause.
- 26:58Speaker 4: We're freezing that and we're like hanging.
- 27:01Speaker 3: And that's vintage New York. Don't you think? Doesn't that
- 27:03Speaker 3: remind you of old Roni?
- 27:04Speaker 2: Yeah, it just happened last night on Roni where Aaron's
- 27:07Speaker 2: like flashing everybody out.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Yeah, that too.
- 27:09Speaker 2: Yes.
- 27:11Speaker 1: It's happening.
- 27:12Speaker 3: I love it. What has happened?
- 27:14Speaker 4: I like to settle things in some way. I don't
- 27:18Speaker 4: like to be like, Wait.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You guys can freeze this shit?
- 27:21Speaker 3: Like, I don't understand.
- 27:22Speaker 2: Is it sort of like, they feel like they're at work,
- 27:25Speaker 2: and then they put that aside, and they're just able
- 27:27Speaker 2: to kind of compartmentalize? I mean, it is kind of amazing, but,
- 27:30Speaker 2: I mean, so be it. Wait, I want to go
- 27:34Speaker 2: back to the brunch, because a lot happened here, alright?
- 27:38Speaker 2: I just want to kind of go down the line. So,
- 27:41Speaker 2: Bronwyn is very hurt because of the hypocrisy and bullshit. And, um,
- 27:47Speaker 2: And so we finally discuss this, all right?
- 27:51Speaker 5: Barely.
- 27:53Speaker 2: And Meredith was like, this wasn't aimed at Bronwyn. And basically,
- 28:01Speaker 2: she finally gives Bronwyn an apology. But Lisa is like,
- 28:08Speaker 2: After Bronwyn's like, well, I think you're embarrassed. You embarrassed
- 28:11Speaker 2: yourselves publicly and embarrassed your children and then your whole
- 28:15Speaker 2: line of Mormons, and you're embarrassing. And Lisa's like, I
- 28:18Speaker 2: don't feel embarrassed at all. She shouldn't, because it's a hit.
- 28:22Speaker 2: Hypocrisy and Bullshit is a hit song. And so now
- 28:27Speaker 2: at this point, Meredith, the only reason why she gave
- 28:31Speaker 2: that apology is because she wanted to move on to.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Nail Whitney that's the only did everybody see that she's
- 28:39Speaker 2: like I am very sorry very much so about how
- 28:46Speaker 2: that took place moving on to larger and bigger things
- 28:52Speaker 2: and then she just slams Whitney with like constructing a
- 28:57Speaker 2: 50 year old group of women why that had why
- 29:01Speaker 2: are we naming numbers that's what I want to know
- 29:04Speaker 2: 50 something Yeah.
- 29:07Speaker 4: I think it was part of the story to Kwai
- 29:10Speaker 4: is what I get is like, Kwai was whatever she
- 29:13Speaker 4: relayed to Meredith.
- 29:15Speaker 1: But I, I, you know, I don't know. I love
- 29:18Speaker 1: the chart and the graphic that we got though.
- 29:20Speaker 3: That was helpful. Remember that?
- 29:22Speaker 5: Yeah. Did you play guess who with Maddie? Like when
- 29:25Speaker 5: you turn over the, it looked like guess who? Yeah. Yeah.
- 29:28Speaker 3: That's hilarious.
- 29:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:32Speaker 2: But like, here's what's so funny is that whatever Whitney
- 29:34Speaker 2: said that Ashley said about Meredith was so not the smoking.
- 29:40Speaker 2: gun that she thought it was going to be. It
- 29:42Speaker 2: was the lightest shade. It was kind of like, oh,
- 29:45Speaker 2: I'll come on the show.
- 29:47Speaker 5: I can handle her.
- 29:48Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 5: It was like so nothing.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Sick burn.
- 29:54Speaker 5: By the way, I just want to say an aside.
- 29:57Speaker 5: I thought Whitney looked amazing at the brunch.
- 29:59Speaker 3: Am I crazy?
- 29:59Speaker 2: No, she looked fantastic. Her makeup was flawless. Her makeup
- 30:03Speaker 2: was flawless.
- 30:04Speaker 5: Her fashion can sometimes be crazy.
- 30:07Speaker 3: It was so polished. I love the gray shirt under
- 30:10Speaker 3: the gray plate. I thought she looked like a boss lady.
- 30:13Speaker 3: She did look like a boss lady.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I loved her at the end, too.
- 30:15Speaker 3: No glam. I mean, she had a little glam. I
- 30:17Speaker 3: love that.
- 30:18Speaker 2: With her little red nose. She looks so cute.
- 30:21Speaker 3: I love that. I love that.
- 30:24Speaker 2: I did. I mean, that's what we want. Like, that's
- 30:27Speaker 2: the thing. I don't, we, they all are so glammed up.
- 30:30Speaker 2: So when you do get these moments, it does, it
- 30:32Speaker 2: does make it feel more real.
- 30:33Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:34Speaker 3: That's my jump scare. You're like, what?
- 30:36Speaker 1: She's going through something legit.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 4: She didn't have time to put on makeup or she did.
- 30:41Speaker 4: And then she cried it off right before I got there. Like,
- 30:45Speaker 4: I was like, this is, real Whitney, and I'm appreciating it.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a very productive meeting. I was happy
- 30:52Speaker 2: to see that they were able to get to the
- 30:53Speaker 2: other side of it. And they felt like their friendship
- 30:56Speaker 2: is worth fighting for. And then they agreed to keep
- 30:59Speaker 2: their friendship separate. Because Kwai's not stupid. She's not just
- 31:03Speaker 2: going to be blindly loyal to Whitney. And she's like,
- 31:06Speaker 2: I'm going to make this clear. I will be friends
- 31:08Speaker 2: with Meredith. And I will be friends with hypocrisy. You know,
- 31:12Speaker 2: I'm going to be friends with that and bullshit.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Because I am also realizing on this episode too, that
- 31:18Speaker 4: none of that, besides Meredith and Lisa, like no one
- 31:21Speaker 4: is loyal to each other on this cast.
- 31:23Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 31:24Speaker 5: It's it, it makes me so uncomfortable actually, because even
- 31:28Speaker 5: Angie and Mary, like I, do you guys feel like
- 31:31Speaker 5: Mary actually hates Angie? Well, I mean, I didn't until
- 31:35Speaker 5: we saw the previews for later on this season. Like
- 31:38Speaker 5: Mary's done with Angie later.
- 31:39Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:40Speaker 5: No, but the hostility. Like, she just hates... She's so irritated. Like,
- 31:44Speaker 5: I notice she's so much nicer to the older... To
- 31:48Speaker 5: the other women now.
- 31:49Speaker 3: The 50-somethings. But she is. Like, she's like, Meredith, Lisa.
- 31:52Speaker 3: She's like, Angie, shut up.
- 31:54Speaker 5: Angie, why are you doing that? Angie, why did you
- 31:56Speaker 5: wear a tie? Angie, why are you pouring champagne into
- 31:59Speaker 5: a tea? Those were some valid questions. I didn't... No,
- 32:03Speaker 5: even when she's like, I'm going through a hard time
- 32:04Speaker 5: with Sean, whatever she says, she's like, what is it?
- 32:07Speaker 3: Just say it. Like, she has no.
- 32:08Speaker 5: patience for Angie whatsoever I feel like she also.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Like kind of outed that whole affair or whatever Angie's
- 32:16Speaker 4: going through I was like when at that dinner like
- 32:19Speaker 4: no one else at the table knew about Sean and
- 32:22Speaker 4: Angie I guess and Mary's.
- 32:23Speaker 1: Like say it say it say what's going on and
- 32:27Speaker 1: Angie was.
- 32:27Speaker 5: Like oh I didn't pick up on that under the
- 32:30Speaker 5: table I bet like.
- 32:31Speaker 2: Are you talking about this episode right.
- 32:35Speaker 4: I'm talking about at the end of this episode when
- 32:38Speaker 4: they're at the dinner at the gossip place or whatever.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Oh, at drinks or whatever, the four of them.
- 32:44Speaker 1: Yeah, and Mary's like, what's going on? How's Sean?
- 32:46Speaker 4: How is Sean? Please tell me how, like with everybody.
- 32:51Speaker 4: And Angie's like, he's good. He is fine.
- 32:54Speaker 1: And Mary's just going for it.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Well, she doesn't know the truth, though.
- 32:59Speaker 3: That's what I'm wondering. She knows a little bit.
- 33:01Speaker 2: She's picking up that it's a weird vibe.
- 33:04Speaker 3: Something's up.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Because Angie said, I don't want to bother Mary with
- 33:09Speaker 2: any of this stuff, babe.
- 33:11Speaker 1: But at the top of the episode when Mary's there...
- 33:15Speaker 1: And when it's just those two, I thought Angie said, yeah.
- 33:18Speaker 3: You know, whatever.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Like she gave a vibe that it wasn't great, I thought.
- 33:21Speaker 4: And then we get to the end and Mary's like
- 33:24Speaker 4: ripping off the bandaid. Like what's going on? That's what
- 33:27Speaker 4: I thought was happening.
- 33:28Speaker 2: God, I don't know. I didn't read it that way,
- 33:30Speaker 2: but I could have missed it. I was so distracted
- 33:32Speaker 2: by the dishes and the champagne and the teapot that
- 33:34Speaker 2: if she did say something to her there, I did
- 33:36Speaker 2: not hear it. Because I heard that. She was like,
- 33:39Speaker 2: I don't want.
- 33:40Speaker 3: Mary to carry this. I want to just pretend. She
- 33:43Speaker 3: was like, oh, you know, we're just doing a lecture stuff.
- 33:45Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 33:45Speaker 3: She was trying to gloss over it.
- 33:47Speaker 5: Right.
- 33:47Speaker 3: But Mary knew. Who knows? Mary, that's a thing.
- 33:50Speaker 5: And you never know what they're saying off camera and
- 33:52Speaker 5: what Mary's heard on the streets. Because wait, did I
- 33:55Speaker 5: hear you guys, this never made it to my algorithm,
- 33:57Speaker 5: but did I hear you guys talk last week about
- 33:59Speaker 5: the streets were saying he was having an affair?
- 34:01Speaker 3: Am I crazy? Yeah. No, I mean, that was, that was,
- 34:05Speaker 3: that was in the news.
- 34:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:07Speaker 2: Why did I miss that?
- 34:08Speaker 3: So we know who it is?
- 34:10Speaker 1: A gal at the salon.
- 34:12Speaker 5: Ooh.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Are they still together?
- 34:13Speaker 1: Allegedly. I don't know.
- 34:15Speaker 3: I hope not.
- 34:18Speaker 6: Babe, it's terrible, babe.
- 34:19Speaker 3: I hate it.
- 34:20Speaker 6: And I got this champagne and this teapot over at HomeGoods.
- 34:23Speaker 6: And I'm just putting shit in other shit just to
- 34:26Speaker 6: figure this out. I'm telling you that I washed these dishes, babe,
- 34:30Speaker 6: but I didn't.
- 34:33Speaker 3: I'm sorry. When you put those at the dishwasher, that
- 34:36Speaker 3: label comes off a little.
- 34:38Speaker 2: They're not brand new like that.
- 34:39Speaker 3: It comes off a little.
- 34:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:40Speaker 3: It comes off a little bit.
- 34:42Speaker 5: It's going to be a little bit waterlogged. And if
- 34:45Speaker 5: anyone's going to clock it, it's Mary. She is all
- 34:48Speaker 5: over that. She's like, this is 2003.
- 34:51Speaker 4: When she turned the dishes over to get the pottery
- 34:54Speaker 4: mark on the back, I was like, thank you for
- 34:55Speaker 4: doing that.
- 34:56Speaker 3: I always want to see what the dishes are.
- 34:58Speaker 1: Because I think those are the Williams-Sonoma dishes. The Peter Rabbit,
- 35:01Speaker 1: the Beatrix Potter.
- 35:03Speaker 3: Oh, the other Peter Rabbit. Yes, yes, yes.
- 35:05Speaker 5: Those are only $ 4. 99 a plate? That seems cheap to Williams-Sonoma. Well,
- 35:09Speaker 5: then I'm like, she got those all the same.
- 35:11Speaker 1: $ 14.
- 35:11Speaker 6: 99.
- 35:11Speaker 1: I didn't think that she got them.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Well, I'm willing to die on this hill.
- 35:16Speaker 5: No, I'm kidding.
- 35:16Speaker 3: You know what, guys? I think I just found my
- 35:18Speaker 3: new investigation. Yeah, let's go. I'm going to find out
- 35:20Speaker 3: what plates they were and how much they cost.
- 35:22Speaker 2: Well, I got a twist for you, okay?
- 35:25Speaker 1: That Wedgwood and Spode used to do a Peter Rabbit line?
- 35:29Speaker 1: I know, I know, I know.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 35:32Speaker 2: Spoiler alert, Emily.
- 35:34Speaker 3: I'm out of my league.
- 35:36Speaker 2: So I went on Facebook and Marketplace because I wanted
- 35:41Speaker 2: to match my little Wedgwood Peter Rabbit dish with a
- 35:47Speaker 2: couple other dishes for around Easter time. And I ordered
- 35:53Speaker 2: one off of Facebook Marketplace. And wait, that's not the story.
- 36:01Speaker 3: Can we speed this? I'm like Mary listening to Angie
- 36:04Speaker 3: right now.
- 36:06Speaker 2: It's going to slow down.
- 36:07Speaker 3: Where are the editors? Please do a dissolve into the
- 36:11Speaker 3: next thing.
- 36:11Speaker 5: Carol.
- 36:12Speaker 2: So I ordered this off of somewhere. It was sent
- 36:17Speaker 2: to me. I opened up the cup, the dish and
- 36:21Speaker 2: the bowl and the cup was broken.
- 36:24Speaker 3: Nope.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Broken.
- 36:25Speaker 3: You got to pack that right.
- 36:27Speaker 2: And it was not packed well at all. It was
- 36:30Speaker 2: an accident waiting to happen. Oh, it was off of Etsy.
- 36:34Speaker 2: And so I was like, babe, it's broken. And it
- 36:38Speaker 2: doesn't look like it was really well packed. I'm not
- 36:41Speaker 2: going to lie. She's like, oh, no. It was supposed
- 36:45Speaker 2: to be packed in all this stuff. And I was like, well,
- 36:48Speaker 2: in there. And guess what? I didn't have the time,
- 36:51Speaker 2: the place, or the energy to get any kind of
- 36:54Speaker 2: refund because just like anything else, I don't have it
- 36:58Speaker 2: in me to go to the second location, okay? So
- 37:01Speaker 2: I took the loss, even though she was like, here's
- 37:03Speaker 2: what you got to do to get a refund from Etsy.
- 37:05Speaker 2: I'm like, that's not happening, babe. I'll take the loss.
- 37:10Speaker 3: They literally, that's what they count on. That's what they
- 37:12Speaker 3: count on. Really? Well, as someone that sells.
- 37:16Speaker 1: teacups on Etsy, I will.
- 37:17Speaker 4: Also tell you that what people do is if they're
- 37:23Speaker 4: a popular pattern, they will order them to do tile
- 37:27Speaker 4: and mosaics, like break them.
- 37:29Speaker 1: So I always, if it breaks.
- 37:32Speaker 4: Which knock on wood has not happened, but if it
- 37:35Speaker 4: does break, I absolutely have it sent back because we've
- 37:38Speaker 4: all got the word with vintage China that people love
- 37:43Speaker 4: The broken glass has a value to it. The broken
- 37:46Speaker 4: china has a value to it.
- 37:47Speaker 3: Wow.
- 37:48Speaker 1: So when you're like, oh, please, yeah, keep it. Here's
- 37:51Speaker 1: your refund.
- 37:52Speaker 3: It's like, well, wait a second. Yeah. Guys, you are
- 37:57Speaker 3: so out of my league right now.
- 37:59Speaker 2: And then one time my mom sent my daughter a
- 38:01Speaker 2: doll and it came from eBay and the head was
- 38:04Speaker 2: already off. And I was like, are you kidding me
- 38:07Speaker 2: right now? Well, darlings, I don't even know exactly what happened,
- 38:14Speaker 2: but at some point I looked in the mirror and thought,
- 38:16Speaker 2: excuse me, let's work on this skin, you know, because
- 38:20Speaker 2: I'm getting a little older and I've definitely noticed more
- 38:22Speaker 2: fine lines. So I've got the uneven texture, a little
- 38:25Speaker 2: bit of dark spots, and I did not invite them
- 38:29Speaker 2: to my party. That's why I started using GU Skin Care.
- 38:33Speaker 2: It's spelled J-I-Y-U and pronounced G-U. And honestly, these rejuvenation
- 38:40Speaker 2: toner pads have been a game changer for me. I've
- 38:42Speaker 2: only been using them for about two weeks and I've
- 38:44Speaker 2: already noticed a considerable difference in my skin. It feels exfoliated,
- 38:48Speaker 2: incredibly smooth, and just refreshed. I love using them at night.
- 38:52Speaker 2: I'm just noticing a difference so quickly. And at this
- 38:56Speaker 2: point in my life, I don't have six months to
- 38:58Speaker 2: wait around wondering, you know, is this doing anything? These
- 39:01Speaker 2: are not your ordinary toner pads. Think of them as
- 39:04Speaker 2: an entire Korean skincare routine. packed into one easy swipe.
- 39:08Speaker 2: Each pad is saturated with eight clinically-backed Korean skincare actives
- 39:13Speaker 2: designed to brighten, hydrate, soothe, and target signs of aging.
- 39:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, by the way, I do feel very hydrated.
- 39:19Speaker 2: My skin feels very hydrated. They have snail mucin. You guys,
- 39:24Speaker 2: get with the snail mucin. And that's for hydration and glow.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Peptides to support firmer-looking skin, and niacinamide to help visibly
- 39:33Speaker 2: brighten and even skin tone. And unlike some toner products
- 39:36Speaker 2: that can leave your skin feeling stripped, my skin feels hydrated, nourished,
- 39:40Speaker 2: and so smooth afterward. I love how easy they are.
- 39:44Speaker 2: I don't want a 14-step skincare routine. I don't have time.
- 39:49Speaker 2: I have too much reality TV to talk about. I
- 39:52Speaker 2: want something that I will actually use. So I grab
- 39:55Speaker 2: a pad, I swipe, and I'm done. If you're trying
- 39:58Speaker 2: GU for the first time, I'd recommend the Glow Up Bundle.
- 40:03Speaker 2: It includes their best-selling toning polish pads and their moisturizer
- 40:06Speaker 2: with NAD +. So it's an easy way to experience

- 44:46Speaker 5: No, but I feel like this is a world I
- 44:48Speaker 5: would like to get into and start collecting things, but
- 44:51Speaker 5: I wouldn't even know where to start.
- 44:52Speaker 3: But I'm into that. I love home decor.
- 44:55Speaker 1: You're saving the world, Aliza.
- 44:57Speaker 3: You're fine.
- 44:58Speaker 5: I know, but I feel like I should have a hobby.
- 45:01Speaker 3: This feels right. All right.
- 45:04Speaker 2: Speaking of hobbies, Brittany takes the flowers.
- 45:07Speaker 3: Are we not calling her Brittany? Oh, yeah. I forgot.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Let's call her Brittany. So, Britannia Encyclopedia... Takes all the
- 45:14Speaker 2: flowers from the event and then goes, I guess without permission,
- 45:19Speaker 2: and then goes and like re-gifts them to nursing homes,
- 45:21Speaker 2: which I thought was a very nice gesture. However, you
- 45:24Speaker 2: do want to get, you know, permission from the host
- 45:27Speaker 2: if you can take them. Posting on social media, you know,
- 45:32Speaker 2: with these people. And not one person had a problem
- 45:37Speaker 2: accusing Britannia.
- 45:39Speaker 1: That was wild.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Going and trying to take advantage of these old people
- 45:44Speaker 2: to be put in their will. Not one person could
- 45:47Speaker 2: hold their tongue.
- 45:48Speaker 3: Not one.
- 45:49Speaker 5: No one is afraid of Brittani and they won't be.
- 45:53Speaker 5: And that was shocking.
- 45:55Speaker 3: I think it's.
- 45:56Speaker 5: Really wrong of them to accuse her of that because
- 45:58Speaker 5: I think what she's actually doing is trying to get
- 46:00Speaker 5: their home so she can sell them.
- 46:04Speaker 3: How dare they accuse her of that when all she
- 46:07Speaker 3: wants is the house?
- 46:09Speaker 2: Now we're talking. Deeds.
- 46:11Speaker 3: Who wouldn't try to get it on the MLS?
- 46:14Speaker 2: Hypocrisy and bullshit. Deeds. Deeds.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Wow.
- 46:21Speaker 1: I hadn't thought of that, of course.
- 46:23Speaker 4: Here I'm thinking like that, oh my gosh, she's got
- 46:26Speaker 4: these people she goes to visit and now she's not
- 46:28Speaker 4: going to visit them anymore because this show's going to
- 46:31Speaker 4: come out, this episode, and then she's going to be like, oh,
- 46:34Speaker 4: I can't visit them.
- 46:35Speaker 3: This is going to look like I'm trying to take
- 46:37Speaker 3: their money.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Well, she, I mean, Bronwyn has been giving Brittany credit
- 46:44Speaker 2: for being nice to her and sticking up for her. Meanwhile,
- 46:46Speaker 2: there's this underlying thing of Brittany constantly asking the questions like, oh,
- 46:52Speaker 2: you sold your house? Did you sign the deed? I
- 46:55Speaker 2: am so over. Why do people think Bronwyn is hiding
- 46:59Speaker 2: so much? I mean, am I among the few that don't.
- 47:03Speaker 3: Fully get that vibe?
- 47:04Speaker 2: I mean, the necklace scam, when she tried to fool
- 47:08Speaker 2: everybody that Todd was giving her that really expensive necklace
- 47:11Speaker 2: for their anniversary in Palm Springs, that was definitely a
- 47:14Speaker 2: red flag. But am I to take that example and
- 47:17Speaker 2: now just be like, she's completely full of shit with
- 47:20Speaker 2: everything she does? I mean, do you guys trust Bronwyn?
- 47:24Speaker 1: I do, but I think I'm a, you don't, Aliza.
- 47:26Speaker 3: Aliza doesn't.
- 47:28Speaker 5: Nope.
- 47:28Speaker 3: I sure don't. hypocrisy and bullshit. No, I think she's
- 47:32Speaker 3: a grifter. Allegedly.
- 47:35Speaker 5: She gives me major grifter vibes. I think she's a
- 47:37Speaker 5: great housewife, but oh yeah. No, I think they know
- 47:40Speaker 5: way more from the blogs. No, but I really think
- 47:43Speaker 5: there's a lot going on there, you guys. I think
- 47:44Speaker 5: we haven't even scratched the surface.
- 47:46Speaker 3: I can't wait.
- 47:47Speaker 5: Wow.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I do. The whole daughter and the guy
- 47:51Speaker 3: that died. And there was a lot more there that
- 47:53Speaker 3: I think that Lisa didn't say.
- 47:55Speaker 5: I just, I don't know, guys. I'm just saying like,
- 47:58Speaker 5: keep her on my screen. Don't put her in prison.
- 48:00Speaker 1: But yeah.
- 48:02Speaker 3: There's a lot. I think she's a huge liar. Huge.
- 48:05Speaker 2: Wow.
- 48:06Speaker 3: But to be fair, they're all liars. They're all liars. Well, yeah.
- 48:10Speaker 2: I mean, that's true. But Lisa calling her out at
- 48:12Speaker 2: the end being like, Bronwyn, everything is a ruse. And
- 48:16Speaker 2: Bronwyn is a PR move. The PR move is interesting.
- 48:21Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 48:22Speaker 3: I don't think it is, personally.
- 48:24Speaker 2: I think that it's a stupid move because she's flaunting
- 48:27Speaker 2: him about the country and actually worldwide. And she hasn't
- 48:32Speaker 2: even like settled her divorce yet to Heather's point. Yeah. I,
- 48:36Speaker 2: you know, if anything is a ruse, it's Brandon taking
- 48:39Speaker 2: advantage of her. I think she's just having a good time.
- 48:42Speaker 2: What do you guys think?
- 48:44Speaker 4: I think Bronwyn's fatal flaw is that she's too wrapped
- 48:48Speaker 4: up in appearances and doesn't maybe get that there's consequences
- 48:52Speaker 4: to some of those choices. And so she will bend
- 48:56Speaker 4: the truth or, uh, Do something like this, like have
- 49:01Speaker 4: Todd pay for this guy's trip to Florida or whatever,
- 49:04Speaker 4: just because it looks good and it's a great, like,
- 49:08Speaker 4: it's just all a good look on the surface, not realizing, like,
- 49:12Speaker 4: it's not good underneath. And I think that's where she keeps,
- 49:17Speaker 4: getting into trouble.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Same with the necklace. Yeah, she's really performative.
- 49:22Speaker 5: Even before she went on Housewives, she was posting on
- 49:25Speaker 5: those stories every five seconds.
- 49:27Speaker 3: And she was nobody.
- 49:28Speaker 5: I guess some people knew her, but Christian Siriano was
- 49:31Speaker 5: already dressing her before she was even a housewife. I
- 49:35Speaker 5: think she's a deeply, deeply insecure child who.
- 49:40Speaker 3: Let's be honest. Muzzy's not exactly, you know, the warm
- 49:43Speaker 3: touch of a mommy that we would want.
- 49:44Speaker 2: She destroyed her.
- 49:45Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 49:46Speaker 3: Right.
- 49:46Speaker 5: And then she went to an abusive husband, not physically,
- 49:49Speaker 5: but I think he was extremely controlling and, you know,
- 49:52Speaker 5: not nice.
- 49:53Speaker 3: But I think he provided a certain life for her
- 49:55Speaker 3: and Gwen. So I think she doesn't know who she is.
- 49:58Speaker 5: Yeah. And I think she's feeling free and excited that,
- 50:01Speaker 5: first of all, she's now on the successful show and
- 50:05Speaker 5: she's got the middle snowflake. So as far as Brandon goes,
- 50:09Speaker 5: I feel like it's a little of both.
- 50:10Speaker 3: I'm sure she's into him. He's adorable.
- 50:12Speaker 5: Oh, and by the way, I did channel behind the
- 50:15Speaker 5: scenes to find out. I was like, Brandon's gay, right?
- 50:17Speaker 5: And this person was like, actually, no.
- 50:19Speaker 3: And I was like, oh. Oh, you thought he was gay?
- 50:21Speaker 2: I didn't get that vibe.
- 50:22Speaker 6: You did?
- 50:22Speaker 3: No.
- 50:24Speaker 2: I don't know. I, I mean, I could see either way, honestly,
- 50:29Speaker 2: but I, it.
- 50:30Speaker 3: Seems like it was like a, like a gay bestie,
- 50:32Speaker 3: but apparently not. And apparently they were really having fun,
- 50:35Speaker 3: but listen, I'm, I love Bronwyn as a housewife.
- 50:38Speaker 5: Like I think she's fantastic, but I don't believe anything
- 50:41Speaker 5: that comes out of her mouth.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Just like, I don't believe most of what comes out
- 50:43Speaker 3: of Lisa's mouth or Heather's mouth or Brittany's mouth. Like
- 50:47Speaker 3: that's what keeps us going in Salt Lake. Yeah.
- 50:51Speaker 4: I mean, yeah, we, we aren't, Two episodes from Lisa
- 50:54Speaker 4: telling us she was at the Academy Awards.
- 50:56Speaker 1: So it's like, whatever.
- 50:57Speaker 3: Brock was saying. I was. It was in my living room.
- 51:05Speaker 2: What did you make of that? I'm curious. Like, Aliza,
- 51:08Speaker 2: what is she talking about?
- 51:10Speaker 3: She went to a party. I went to this. That's
- 51:12Speaker 3: what I think it is.
- 51:13Speaker 5: No, you guys, literally, like a few years ago, I
- 51:15Speaker 5: don't know why I went to this. Someone dragged me.
- 51:17Speaker 5: I went to a viewing party of the Oscars at
- 51:20Speaker 5: the Academy Museum, or one of those, or the TV Guild,
- 51:24Speaker 5: something like that, like on the roof is this fancy party.
- 51:26Speaker 5: I'm like, so we're just sitting on couches, eating appetizers,
- 51:29Speaker 5: watching the Oscars, and I can't.
- 51:31Speaker 3: Really hear anything. Why am I here? I want to
- 51:33Speaker 3: be in my PJs on my couch. Yeah. So I
- 51:36Speaker 3: think that's what it was. I do too. Okay.
- 51:38Speaker 2: We're all in agreement there.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:41Speaker 5: Okay.
- 51:41Speaker 2: So getting back to how pissed off Bronwyn was about
- 51:44Speaker 2: hypocrisy and bullshit, which was so.
- 51:48Speaker 3: I don't think she was pissed off, you guys.
- 51:50Speaker 2: No.
- 51:50Speaker 1: I don't.
- 51:51Speaker 3: She was faking. She didn't care. What? Oh, I think she.
- 51:55Speaker 1: Was totally- We have three totally different takes on this.
- 51:57Speaker 3: Crocodile tears. I didn't buy it at all. I think
- 52:00Speaker 3: she wanted a moment. I'm sorry. I don't think she
- 52:01Speaker 3: really cared.
- 52:02Speaker 1: See, I saw it as Stephen King's Carrie. in Bronwyn's mind.
- 52:09Speaker 4: She's lighting it on fire.
- 52:13Speaker 3: She's so upset. This is my night.
- 52:16Speaker 1: I had my speech.
- 52:17Speaker 4: And now, right after that, you guys are coming in
- 52:20Speaker 4: and basically.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Dumping blood on our eyes.
- 52:23Speaker 3: That is so good. I believe that.
- 52:26Speaker 2: I believe that she felt so wronged in the weirdest way.
- 52:32Speaker 2: She felt so entitled to to be wrong. It's absolutely ridiculous.
- 52:37Speaker 2: I can't believe she would be that delusional to take
- 52:41Speaker 2: it that far.
- 52:42Speaker 4: Heather was like, this is about you. They were all
- 52:46Speaker 4: circling around her like, you're going to let them do
- 52:48Speaker 4: this to you?
- 52:50Speaker 1: They were like, this can't possibly be about us.
- 52:53Speaker 3: But I love that they're doing that.
- 52:55Speaker 5: This is why they're all such grifters because like, They're
- 52:58Speaker 5: all like going hard for her. And they're like, we,
- 53:00Speaker 5: I can't believe this. And then the last scene, Heather's
- 53:02Speaker 5: like turning on her as quick as that.
- 53:04Speaker 3: Yeah. Like, yeah, she is shady.
- 53:06Speaker 5: Like there is no loyalty in this group except for
- 53:09Speaker 5: Meredith and Lisa, but it's transactional right now. It is
- 53:12Speaker 5: a hot mic. They were supposedly loyal before the hot
- 53:15Speaker 5: mic moment. So they are, I would be terrified to
- 53:18Speaker 5: go on that show. But that's why it's good. The
- 53:21Speaker 5: problem with Beverly Hills is they all are too protective
- 53:24Speaker 5: of each other, so we never get really, really dirty drama.
- 53:27Speaker 6: Right.
- 53:28Speaker 2: Yeah, but they're all willing to go pretty low over there.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Same with Orange County, but it's not as good.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 53:36Speaker 2: But when they were trying to figure out and go
- 53:39Speaker 2: through the beats of what happened, and Meredith was trying
- 53:42Speaker 2: to explain, Meredith was like, it wasn't aimed at Bronwyn.
- 53:49Speaker 2: And then Bronwyn's like, I'm pretty sure it will be.
- 53:53Speaker 2: This is all hypocrisy and bullshit. And Meredith is like,
- 53:56Speaker 2: I was going to do a DJ set that night.
- 54:00Speaker 2: Which I, first of all, I was like, oh, is
- 54:02Speaker 2: she invited somewhere else to do a DJ set? And
- 54:05Speaker 2: then I was like, oh, she was going to do
- 54:07Speaker 2: it there no matter what. She was going to get
- 54:09Speaker 2: up and perform, right?
- 54:11Speaker 3: She invited herself, I guess.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Sounds like it.
- 54:14Speaker 4: I would like to see any of them do something
- 54:16Speaker 4: like this at Lisa or Meredith's events.
- 54:19Speaker 6: Oh.
- 54:21Speaker 1: You couldn't.
- 54:22Speaker 3: It just wouldn't happen. It would not.
- 54:24Speaker 2: But Meredith was like.
- 54:27Speaker 2: I guess my question is, Bronwyn clearly didn't know that
- 54:31Speaker 2: that was going to happen, the DJ set in and
- 54:33Speaker 2: of itself.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Right, right.
- 54:36Speaker 2: Which shows us they don't have all the control over
- 54:39Speaker 2: the event. So it's also like, Bronwyn, sit down. This
- 54:43Speaker 2: is your, quote, party.
- 54:45Speaker 6: Sure.
- 54:46Speaker 2: When it's really a housewives show filming where they need
- 54:50Speaker 2: to entertain us, okay? So let us These two hypocrisy
- 54:53Speaker 2: and bullshit go-getters let the glam kittens get up there
- 54:58Speaker 2: and do their thing. It was a hit.
- 55:00Speaker 3: I love you guys. I'm sorry. There's very little you
- 55:03Speaker 3: could do to make me Lisa Meredith.
- 55:06Speaker 1: Oh, I love that.
- 55:07Speaker 6: I know.
- 55:07Speaker 2: I'm so team them right now.
- 55:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 55:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Like I don't, I'm not saying they're great people or
- 55:13Speaker 3: they're right.
- 55:14Speaker 5: I just, I find them both truly sorry to use,
- 55:17Speaker 5: you know, an overused word, but I find them both iconic.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I do. And nothing's going to make me hate them.
- 55:22Speaker 5: Just like I love Brooks Marks and I don't care
- 55:25Speaker 5: how many people tell me he's boring.
- 55:26Speaker 3: I love him. I love that whole family. That whole
- 55:29Speaker 3: family of posers.
- 55:30Speaker 5: When they're together, it's like a symphony. It's melodic to
- 55:35Speaker 5: my ears.
- 55:35Speaker 1: I was like, could you guys be more boring right now?
- 55:38Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 55:40Speaker 2: I'll just chat, chat, beat, chat, GPT.
- 55:44Speaker 1: One plus one equals two.
- 55:47Speaker 3: Two plus two.
- 55:48Speaker 2: Hey, mom, chat, GPT. Oh, you're right.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. So good.
- 55:58Speaker 5: Remember when we met her sister like three years ago? Yeah.
- 56:03Speaker 5: She comes in, her name was like, what was her name?
- 56:05Speaker 5: It was like, like Faraday or something.
- 56:07Speaker 3: Yeah, totally. It was like the same name.
- 56:08Speaker 5: Faraday.
- 56:09Speaker 3: Meryl or something. And she's like, hi, how are you?
- 56:13Speaker 2: We're like, oh my God.
- 56:14Speaker 5: This is like actually not put on like this whole
- 56:16Speaker 5: family was born like born this way.
- 56:19Speaker 3: It's crazy. God bless them.
- 56:21Speaker 2: God bless them. Oh, and then what about, I was like,
- 56:23Speaker 2: Meredith being so ready to, you know, in the jump
- 56:27Speaker 2: position to say, can you seal your mouth like your lawsuits?
- 56:31Speaker 2: You know what's funny? It wasn't like her.
- 56:34Speaker 5: I hate the can lines when they come in, you know,
- 56:36Speaker 5: like Cy was doing and everything.
- 56:37Speaker 3: But that, I loved it. I'm telling you, I'm an
- 56:39Speaker 3: apologist for Meredith. I love it. Everything she says cracks
- 56:42Speaker 3: me up.
- 56:43Speaker 2: It was a real throwback because... We haven't heard about
- 56:47Speaker 2: the sealed lawsuit in a long time.
- 56:49Speaker 5: And I was like, what is she even talking about?
- 56:51Speaker 5: I know the flashback.
- 56:52Speaker 2: Editors were like, okay, go to cold storage. We got
- 56:54Speaker 2: to go to the archives.
- 56:57Speaker 3: Meredith collects stories. Like we collect purses. I don't know. She,
- 57:01Speaker 3: she never forget.
- 57:02Speaker 5: Like if you hear her doing media and stuff, she, this,
- 57:05Speaker 5: she loves, like, she's really loves.
- 57:08Speaker 3: Being a housewife. Like she makes it seem like I
- 57:10Speaker 3: don't have time for this drama. She loves it. She
- 57:13Speaker 3: loves it.
- 57:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 57:16Speaker 4: It doesn't participate unless Lisa's there. I'm realizing more and
- 57:20Speaker 4: more like I, you don't see Meredith often filming without
- 57:24Speaker 4: Lisa in the last two seasons.
- 57:26Speaker 3: You might get a little bit of one-on-one.
- 57:31Speaker 5: She can't, she can't hang by herself.
- 57:34Speaker 6: No.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 57:36Speaker 1: I also, yeah, she gets too frustrated. And also the
- 57:39Speaker 1: scenes that will we, yeah.
- 57:41Speaker 3: Like, I don't know.
- 57:42Speaker 4: I think, everybody else would film with her, but she
- 57:45Speaker 4: just doesn't seem to want to film with anybody.
- 57:48Speaker 3: You guys, I mean, do we, sorry, I keep on
- 57:51Speaker 3: zooming out. Forgive me, but I'm just so happy to
- 57:53Speaker 3: be with you darlings. Am I like, I love this show.
- 57:57Speaker 5: I just, I mean, I just have the best time
- 57:59Speaker 5: with it because I just can't believe how batshit crazy
- 58:01Speaker 5: it is.
- 58:02Speaker 3: Oh, I love it too.
- 58:03Speaker 2: And I thought Emily, this episode is great.
- 58:05Speaker 3: Emily, Emily loves it.
- 58:08Speaker 5: I do.
- 58:08Speaker 3: No, she can't have begun her own. I'm having some issues.
- 58:12Speaker 3: You are?
- 58:12Speaker 1: I have some issues with the season.
- 58:13Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah. Are you fucking kidding me right now? Oh.
- 58:20Speaker 2: United Arab Emirates airline attendant outfit?
- 58:24Speaker 3: Oh my God, that was so good. I don't know
- 58:27Speaker 3: why everything cracks me up. The yellow tie just set
- 58:29Speaker 3: me over the edge.
- 58:30Speaker 2: The yellow tie. I said no ties.
- 58:33Speaker 3: And then the montage of how many times. But that's
- 58:36Speaker 3: the thing. Angie is so annoying. Why would you do that?
- 58:40Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 58:41Speaker 2: No, that's not right.
- 58:42Speaker 3: That's what I'm talking about. That's one of my problems.
- 58:44Speaker 2: She's not following the rules.
- 58:46Speaker 3: You got to follow the rules. Mary said rules. You
- 58:48Speaker 3: got to follow the rules.
- 58:49Speaker 4: No, there seems to be, I can see some of
- 58:53Speaker 4: the strings in the drama that's being set up. And
- 58:57Speaker 4: a lot of that is coming from Heather and Angie,
- 59:00Speaker 4: where I'm just like, Why?
- 59:02Speaker 1: And a little bit.
- 59:04Speaker 4: Whitney and always Brittany, but actually Brittany a little bit
- 59:09Speaker 4: less this season, but I don't know why these guys
- 59:13Speaker 4: feel like they need to produce the drama.
- 59:16Speaker 3: I completely agree.
- 59:17Speaker 5: I mean, look, my caveat is, and I've said this
- 59:19Speaker 5: on other podcasts and I'm going to say it again,
- 59:21Speaker 5: and I'm sorry to say it, but I want Heather
- 59:23Speaker 5: off my screen.
- 59:25Speaker 3: Really?
- 59:25Speaker 1: I know.
- 59:26Speaker 3: I know, you guys. I knew it wouldn't go up.
- 59:28Speaker 2: I think that you have no right to be here
- 59:32Speaker 2: for the love of God like a treasure buried in
- 59:34Speaker 2: the desert from John 1842. You need to persevere. I, I, I, I, I, I, I.
- 59:46Speaker 3: I really dislike her.
- 59:47Speaker 5: I feel like she's changed more than any other housewife
- 59:50Speaker 5: I've ever met, not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
- 59:55Speaker 2: She is coming off as a little cringy, but I'm
- 59:58Speaker 2: still going to stick. But I get the cringiness because
- 1:00:04Speaker 2: she's just like continuing to try to like, what's the word?
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Not like glam up, upgrade. What is the word?
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: Glow up.
- 1:00:12Speaker 2: She thinks she's glowing up in her personality when it's not.
- 1:00:18Speaker 2: It's like, I wish she could be the way she
- 1:00:20Speaker 2: was before.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: I love that she was us season one. She was
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: like a little chubby and she was like, you know,
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: didn't give a shit.
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: And it was like, how am I on the show?
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: It's crazy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: And now she's like, I just feel her producing everything.
- 1:00:31Speaker 5: Like Emily said, but here's the other thing. And I
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: think we privately texted about this and I'm going to
- 1:00:35Speaker 5: take it to the public.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: Now I am getting, I am getting some dirty trip vibes. Like,
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: I don't like what I'm getting a little Louis Ruelas.
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: I'm getting a little Brooks. And I don't mean Brooks Marks.
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: I mean Brooks. Who the hell is the last name Brooks?
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: We don't.
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: It's Brooke Cancer Scam.
- 1:00:53Speaker 3: Yeah. I love your drop so much. Yeah. I'm just
- 1:01:05Speaker 3: going to say it. I get and I. I don't know, guys.
- 1:01:08Speaker 5: Heather, ever since the black eye and her throwing production
- 1:01:12Speaker 5: under the bus, I guess I've really never forgiven her
- 1:01:14Speaker 5: for that as a producer.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: The black guy and throwing the producers under the... The
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: black eye.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: God, don't make this racial. I was like, what are
- 1:01:23Speaker 3: you talking about? God, you always bring race into this.
- 1:01:25Speaker 3: I was like, she loves black men. She does love
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: black men. I thought that's what we knew about her.
- 1:01:29Speaker 5: No, I love that she loves black men, but her
- 1:01:31Speaker 5: black eye was not acceptable to say, oh, maybe, what
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: did she say?
- 1:01:35Speaker 3: Maybe production did it. Like, I just don't like her.
- 1:01:38Speaker 3: I dislike her. I dislike her. Wow. I'm sorry.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: By the way, Jen Shaw... I put something up the
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: other day and I happened to fling by it. Something like, well,
- 1:01:47Speaker 2: maybe we need to revisit The Black Eye. Did you
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: see that?
- 1:01:51Speaker 3: I did. And you know what?
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: Let's revisit it. I was like, I'm listening. I scrolled
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: by really fast, but it was enough to where I
- 1:01:59Speaker 2: was like, I'll fucking tune into that shit.
- 1:02:01Speaker 5: I'll fucking do it. By the way, quick plug for
- 1:02:03Speaker 5: Queen of the Con, my podcast season four. The entire
- 1:02:07Speaker 5: season is Jen Shaw. Oh, yes.
- 1:02:09Speaker 3: Or season five.
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: No, it's season four. Yeah, we go deep.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that was good. Emily, what else about the season
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: do you not like? What are your issues?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: Yeah, complain some more.
- 1:02:23Speaker 1: Okay, thank you. I think you guys can turn your
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: mics off. Hi, everyone. I'm Emily.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: Hi, Emily.
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: I think if you compare it to New York right now,
- 1:02:36Speaker 4: which is so raw and real, And I'm like, that
- 1:02:42Speaker 4: to me, sure, there's a couple things that feel a
- 1:02:44Speaker 4: little bit produced here and there.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: But I'm putting Salt Lake and OC.
- 1:02:49Speaker 4: In a place where it's like the OC Heather is
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: Emily Simpson. And she's producing a lot there. And I'm
- 1:02:57Speaker 4: seeing Heather in that position. And I guess I just,
- 1:03:01Speaker 4: you know, we don't need it. And I see more
- 1:03:05Speaker 4: cast producing this season in Salt Lake than I've seen
- 1:03:07Speaker 4: in the past. And I know that, like, I'm including
- 1:03:12Speaker 4: when Heather sits down at the end with her game
- 1:03:15Speaker 4: of fucking phone tag or whatever she had last season. Like,
- 1:03:19Speaker 4: I know that they lean on Heather to do some
- 1:03:21Speaker 4: of that. I just think they're really leaning on these
- 1:03:24Speaker 4: guys to, like, make something out of nothing a lot
- 1:03:28Speaker 4: of times. So that's how I'm feeling right now.
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: That's fair.
- 1:03:33Speaker 5: No, I think I have to say, being the Libra
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: that I am, now I agree with you.
- 1:03:37Speaker 3: I take back everything I said.
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: You're a flipper. You've never stood in your truth. You
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: flip left and right. You're always riding the fence, Aliza.
- 1:03:48Speaker 3: I think I am. I think I am. Was that Sonia?
- 1:03:51Speaker 3: I don't know who it was.
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: Well, Karen Huger rides the fence.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: I think that we run the risk with that. exactly
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: what you're saying on these shows. And it's so tough
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: to like withstand. I think that my level of suspension
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: of disbelief is greater with Salt Lake City, because there's
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: so much charisma, because there's so many different storylines, and
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: there's so much happening that it's easy for me to
- 1:04:18Speaker 2: kind of skate through and not really be looking at that.
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: Whereas I see so many more broader strokes in some
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: of the other cities. But I know what you're saying, Emily.
- 1:04:28Speaker 2: And I mean, I almost feel like Heather is kind
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: of pigeonholed right now because she really doesn't have anything
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: going on. And she doesn't really come after any of
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: the other wives. She doesn't really play dirty with them.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: I mean, she may be snarky here and there and
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: say shit. But well, obviously she did like Real Housewives,
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: you know, Girls Trip, and she was after Lisa. But
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: that's kind of a newer Heather. So I feel like
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: maybe she's sort of pivoting into kind of a different role.
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: She's kind of trying to figure out where does she
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: go from here? Because she was the person that, you know,
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Lisa was explaining to us earlier that we all loved
- 1:05:03Speaker 2: in the beginning. And now after all this, she's different.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: She's evolving, she's changing. So Where does that leave her
- 1:05:10Speaker 2: in terms of where her spot is on the show?
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: So I feel like she kind of is having to
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: stir things up in a way intentionally, which is not good.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: And Angie too. And Angie's always been that.
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: Angie's always going to bring the props and fake chair
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: and all that. But I was willing to kind of give,
- 1:05:33Speaker 4: I didn't like that then, but I was like, maybe
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: that's her thing. But then to have multiple people on
- 1:05:37Speaker 4: the show doing their own like side producing is, I
- 1:05:43Speaker 4: could be wrong.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: Maybe they're not.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: I will say the irony is, the hypocrisy is for
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: me that when I'm watching then Lisa and Meredith come
- 1:05:52Speaker 4: out with A literal song and dance they rehearsed.
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: That felt very real to me.
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: Yeah, right, right.
- 1:06:01Speaker 5: The rehearsal was the best rehearsal of all time. The
- 1:06:04Speaker 5: makeup artists are just like, yeah, that seems like a banger.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: Go for it.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: It's for real.
- 1:06:10Speaker 3: But honestly, you guys, I can't get it out of
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: my head. It's genius.
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: Oh, I know.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: Oh my God, you guys, when they did that footage
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: of them walking through the airport in the van, in
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: the airplane, in the cockpit. Did you see him in
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: the cockpit? I did.
- 1:06:25Speaker 3: I literally, I need to rewind. I want to put
- 1:06:27Speaker 3: that on my phone, that whole montage. The cockpit had me.
- 1:06:30Speaker 3: The pilot's like, fuck a Sambo. He's like running into clouds.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: It's great. Listen, I have always.
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: Watched Salt Lake like a scripted show.
- 1:06:41Speaker 3: Oh, really? Like a telenovela. Yeah.
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: I could never follow the drama. I gave up following
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: the fights two years ago, two seasons ago.
- 1:06:50Speaker 3: Yeah. No, I never know who's mad at who. I
- 1:06:53Speaker 3: never know what they're fighting about.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: But I just am like leaning back. It's just so
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: funny to me. And I just think they're all insane.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: And I love it.
- 1:06:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: Well, because like... You know, they have real shit going
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: on now.
- 1:07:03Speaker 4: And I kind of wish they would, like, focus on
- 1:07:05Speaker 4: that as friends and or people that don't trust each other. Instead, like,
- 1:07:10Speaker 4: we got Angie wearing a tie when she's told, please
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: don't wear a tie.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: Like, she's creating shit. I'm going through some.
- 1:07:16Speaker 6: Stuff, babe.
- 1:07:17Speaker 3: And I had to get my tits out. I had to, babe.
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: And Britannia's walking around with deeds. Like, that doesn't make sense.
- 1:07:25Speaker 4: And then we've got a scam at their nursing home. Yeah.
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: I'm flashing back. Was this last season or the season before?
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: When they're in Greece and Angie hires somebody to, like,
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: do an entire play. Oh, yes.
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: About their drama.
- 1:07:43Speaker 3: And they're all sitting there watching. I mean, it's batshit insane, right?
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: It is. Like, was that last season?
- 1:07:49Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: Yeah, the Greece trip was last season. See, that felt real,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: more real to me than what's happening right now.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: Especially in the face of like their real life divorces
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: and separations.
- 1:07:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:00Speaker 4: And I don't know how much they want to like
- 1:08:02Speaker 4: lean in with Mary because it's like, oh, that would
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: not be great.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: But they've got.
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: Real life stuff happening and I just don't understand the distractions.
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: Well, it is kind of funny that they have this
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: underlying foundation of really intense stuff going on. And the
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: choices that they make on top of that kind of
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: makes for a nice sandwich.
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: It's bizarre.
- 1:08:27Speaker 5: Yeah, but I feel like their theme ever since Jen
- 1:08:30Speaker 5: has been the grifting.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: So they always lean into the grifting, right? Oh, that's
- 1:08:34Speaker 3: a good point.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Like they remember Ali Mama. That was two seasons ago,
- 1:08:38Speaker 5: I think.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Right, they lean into the grifting.
- 1:08:41Speaker 5: Yeah, and then with Lisa and her, you know, right,
- 1:08:45Speaker 5: all of it is the grifting.
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: And then now with Bronwyn, they're like, something's not adding up.
- 1:08:49Speaker 3: Everything's married is saying it. That's so good. That's a
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: really good point.
- 1:08:53Speaker 5: So I feel like they're like, divorce, eh, kind of boring.
- 1:08:56Speaker 5: Let's lean into the grifting, the lawsuits, and the prison.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I mean, hello, mom.
- 1:09:01Speaker 3: Monica? Yeah.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: By the way, Whitney was on, Whitney and Brittani were
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: on Watch What Happens Live last night.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: I saw that. It was the weirdest clip. But I
- 1:09:09Speaker 3: was like, am I on drugs?
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: I was like, I felt like Andy. I was like, eh,
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: let's go to commercial. Because they could not spit it out.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: I don't blame him. He hates Brittani. That was so weird.
- 1:09:20Speaker 5: And didn't Whitney's outfit look like Project Runway? Like when
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: they hang it on the models before they sew it?
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: Thank God you said it. I was like, oh no.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Did something spill on her dress and they had to
- 1:09:33Speaker 2: put a towel over her dress?
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: Literally. That's what I thought.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I was like, oh, they had to put a rag,
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: like a flannel shirt, someone's flannel shirt from the audience
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: over her.
- 1:09:42Speaker 3: She's like, can you guys sew this? You don't have
- 1:09:45Speaker 3: time to sew it? That's fine. Just put it on me.
- 1:09:46Speaker 3: I'll go out.
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: This is the corporate challenge using only materials from someone's office.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: That's what it was. From that curtain. Just grab the curtain.
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: But it's just gray. It doesn't matter. We'll put some
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: glitter on the side and just send her out. Send
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: her out.
- 1:10:04Speaker 2: But then Whitney's like, Brittany had some tea that she
- 1:10:08Speaker 2: was spilling. And she's going to deliver this place. But
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: just in the Mormon. And then Andy's like, oh, is
- 1:10:16Speaker 2: he like hanging out with one of the Mormon wives?
- 1:10:19Speaker 5: Tell me.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: And she's like, no, he's not.
- 1:10:20Speaker 5: No.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Playing out with the, well, I said, no, he's not
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: the D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D.
- 1:10:45Speaker 3: No, it was so... And Andy was like, you know what, girls?
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: I'm not doing this commercial.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: No, it was thank God he shut her down.
- 1:10:51Speaker 5: Yeah, it was just like, you're not spilling any tea
- 1:10:54Speaker 5: because you're just talking in circles and making no sense.
- 1:10:56Speaker 4: Meanwhile, we've seen, I mean, the word and pictures of
- 1:11:00Speaker 4: Justin and Chase and the videos of those two hanging out.
- 1:11:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: Chase from Mormon Wives has been out for weeks.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: That's what they're... That's what she must have been trying
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: to say. See how easy it was for Emily to
- 1:11:10Speaker 2: say that? Easy.
- 1:11:12Speaker 3: And I don't want to be rude, but like.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: I gossip about Justin is like so far down on
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: my list of things I care about. Like you really
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: could not tell me a single thing that Justin would
- 1:11:23Speaker 5: do that would make me care. Like if he was
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: like down with all the Mormon husbands in a hot tub, like,
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: you know, go.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: I don't know what it would be like. Cool.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: But it would, it would have to take a lot.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: I mean like a tremendous amount, like earth shattering stuff
- 1:11:38Speaker 2: for us to care.
- 1:11:39Speaker 3: Earth shattering. So I care more about Jared.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Me too, quite honestly. All right, let's wrap it there
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: on Jared. Alisa Rosen, our special guest today. Thank you
- 1:11:51Speaker 2: so much for being here. And if you could please

- 1:12:01Speaker 5: be hearing some recaps about.
- 1:12:02Speaker 3: The HBO show. It's the Gilded Rage.
- 1:12:05Speaker 5: Anywhere you get your podcast and the Patreon, just go
- 1:12:07Speaker 5: on the Patreon app, search the Gilded Rage.

- 1:12:26Speaker 1: I've got to go and keep listening to Episode 7 again.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Look at the scroll. She's already listening
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: to it.
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: These are all the patrons. Bye, guys.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: Am I on? I know. Yes, you are.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: You are on there.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: Drama.
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: I know.
- 1:12:38Speaker 2: I think you're a gorgeous darling.
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: Oh, my God. Thank you. How was that? Why did
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: you do that, though?
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: I don't remember for sure, but I think.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: I'm like, wait, I know that.
