- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice. Well, no, welcome to the naughty but nice I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, drop Shooter, and it's Tuesday, and every Tuesday
- 0:19Speaker 1: will most tuesdays. Our dear friend Misty joins us. You
- 0:22Speaker 1: have not been here for a couple of weeks, so
- 0:24Speaker 1: we are thrilled that you are back. Hey, Mistery, are
- 0:26Speaker 1: you there.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Yes, And first of all, I apologize to the Nazis.
- 0:30Speaker 2: I've been traveling working, but I missed you dearly. So
- 0:34Speaker 2: I told Rob, I don't care what time I have
- 0:37Speaker 2: to get up, I need a little naughty time.
- 0:42Speaker 1: You're so kind. We love having you back, and congratulations
- 0:45Speaker 1: on all your travels. These have been work trips, Misty,
- 0:47Speaker 1: some big trips. We were bragging about you on the show.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Oh well, thank you so much. And it's just been
- 0:54Speaker 2: a lot of exciting new things with my job. So
- 0:58Speaker 2: you know, when they say go, I say how far?
- 1:00Speaker 2: And I get on that plane.
- 1:02Speaker 1: But it's great, welcome back. Let's jump into the show.
- 1:06Speaker 1: What time is it? My friends? It is tea time
- 1:08Speaker 1: big story at the top of the show, Jennifer Lopez
- 1:10Speaker 1: has responded to Ben Affleck in a poetic sort of
- 1:14Speaker 1: way that some people are thinking it's a little odd.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Let's see what you think. So in the early days
- 1:20Speaker 1: of Benefer two point zero, let's remember this started twenty
- 1:24Speaker 1: years ago. Now we've got the second edition. The two
- 1:27Speaker 1: of them were quite quite affectionate. They definitely were displaying
- 1:32Speaker 1: their love for one another in a very public way.
- 1:35Speaker 1: She was often wearing necklaces with Ben on them. She
- 1:39Speaker 1: even had an Affleck missus Affleck T shirt. Will fast
- 1:44Speaker 1: forward to today and the narrative have shifted because, following
- 1:49Speaker 1: their split, Jennifer is now conveying a very different message.
- 1:53Speaker 1: She was spotted wearing a T shirt that said She's
- 1:56Speaker 1: in bloom and unbothered, out of reach and at peace now.
- 2:02Speaker 1: She posted this T shirt. We did a little research.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It is from a poet, our h sin Well. The
- 2:09Speaker 1: poet spotted the T shirt and responded saying, I got
- 2:13Speaker 1: to send you a shirt, so Jennifer the poet. They're
- 2:16Speaker 1: enjoying all this. It comes just a few weeks after
- 2:20Speaker 1: Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben. I don't know about this,
- 2:25Speaker 1: miss Di. I think part of it is jen having
- 2:28Speaker 1: some fun, But is there really any fun to have
- 2:31Speaker 1: when a divorce is happening? Wouldn't be better to say nothing,
- 2:35Speaker 1: could just tell the truth like I would post I'm
- 2:37Speaker 1: really sad, I'm really upset that this has ended. I
- 2:41Speaker 1: think that's I might not wear a T shirt with
- 2:43Speaker 1: that on, but I think I would put some of
- 2:44Speaker 1: the gage on social media to all my fans saying
- 2:47Speaker 1: thank you for your support. It's been an awful few weeks.
- 2:50Speaker 1: But I think trying to be cute or funny or
- 2:53Speaker 1: cooyer about this is maybe not the best idea.
- 2:56Speaker 2: Well. I mean, we've been hearing that Ben Affleck is
- 2:59Speaker 2: in his hat plays, he's moving closer to his children,
- 3:03Speaker 2: he's spending more time with his family, and he's really
- 3:06Speaker 2: moving on with his life. So it's hard for her
- 3:09Speaker 2: to say, oh, I'm miserable and sad, because the best
- 3:12Speaker 2: revenge and a breakup is looking and feeling your best,
- 3:15Speaker 2: and I think that's what she's trying to do. But
- 3:18Speaker 2: because she is Jennifer Lopez, the rest of us have
- 3:21Speaker 2: to do that. It might be okay to say I'm sad,
- 3:24Speaker 2: I'm in pain, and people would shower her in that
- 3:28Speaker 2: case as well, but she's deciding to do it this way.
- 3:31Speaker 2: What always makes me I want to say giggle because
- 3:33Speaker 2: it is a breakup but I do giggle a little
- 3:36Speaker 2: how much celebrities tell us where their mindset is without
- 3:40Speaker 2: saying a word, by wearing a certain T shirt about
- 3:43Speaker 2: posting some cryptic message. I mean, yes, we do need
- 3:47Speaker 2: to know because we're us and we want to know.
- 3:50Speaker 2: But it's kind of a personal thing, so it's kind
- 3:53Speaker 2: of like you don't have to share it with the world.
- 3:56Speaker 2: It is your what you are going through in your life.
- 4:00Speaker 2: If you don't want to tell us how you're feeling,
- 4:02Speaker 2: that is fine. That is your prerogative. It's your personal life.
- 4:05Speaker 2: But then again, it is Jennifer Lopez, and she tells
- 4:08Speaker 2: us everything. Thank goodness, it makes our job easier.
- 4:11Speaker 1: It does make catchup easier to follow Jayla. She doesn't
- 4:14Speaker 1: hide this, she doesn't pull back. This is one of
- 4:16Speaker 1: Ben's criticisms of her, and he said it quite publicly.
- 4:19Speaker 1: There are not enough likes in the world to make
- 4:21Speaker 1: Jennifer happy. And remember when Madonna, when Warren Batey said,
- 4:25Speaker 1: what's the point of doing anything if it's not on camera?
- 4:28Speaker 1: Everything Madonna does is for public consumption. I think ment
- 4:31Speaker 1: Jennifer is so in love with the Jelo she's created,
- 4:35Speaker 1: it leaves little room for anything or anybody else in
- 4:39Speaker 1: her life. So this is confirming what Ben has always
- 4:42Speaker 1: said or thought. He said it publicly, he said it privately.
- 4:46Speaker 1: Jayla's Jalo. This is who she wants to be good
- 4:48Speaker 1: for her. There's nothing wrong with this. Where it gets
- 4:51Speaker 1: tricky is when she pretends she wants a private life
- 4:53Speaker 1: because she just doesn't. We've seen this a lot mystery
- 4:57Speaker 1: with reality stars. Maybe not stars as big as Jennifer Low,
- 5:00Speaker 1: but the reality stars are this type of individual where
- 5:04Speaker 1: they enjoy the breakups. They enjoy the drama because it
- 5:09Speaker 1: gives them another storyline. And I always forget with Jennifer.
- 5:14Speaker 1: She is like the ultimate reality star. And I'm not
- 5:16Speaker 1: saying that to put her down. She's not a Julia Roberts.
- 5:20Speaker 1: She is not a Jennifer Anderson. She's not going to
- 5:23Speaker 1: keep her secrets secret. She's posting pictures of herself with
- 5:28Speaker 1: a bottom hanging out. I saw this picture she posted.
- 5:30Speaker 1: She put up another, a gallery of pictures about what
- 5:33Speaker 1: a strange summer it's been. Yeah, so I get like
- 5:37Speaker 1: the wing, I do get it, but it just all
- 5:40Speaker 1: feels so untruthful. I can't imagine if Ben really was
- 5:43Speaker 1: the love of her life, if we believe Jennifer. If
- 5:46Speaker 1: he was the love of her life and they got
- 5:47Speaker 1: back together and this was going to be forever and
- 5:50Speaker 1: they broke up, I would just take a minute, Jen,
- 5:52Speaker 1: take a minute to figure out what the message points
- 5:55Speaker 1: are here, how you really feel? Forget the message points?
- 5:58Speaker 1: How do you feel? And you don't owe anybody an explanation?
- 6:04Speaker 2: Absolutely, And again going back to what you said about
- 6:07Speaker 2: the love of her life, I think we've all been
- 6:09Speaker 2: guilty of this. We have somebody from our past come
- 6:12Speaker 2: back and we're just like what if, and we get
- 6:14Speaker 2: caught up in the idea versus the person And I
- 6:18Speaker 2: think maybe that's what happened. It's like, once you're in it,
- 6:21Speaker 2: you're like, now what. Because it was the love of
- 6:24Speaker 2: her life, then she would have said, let me make
- 6:26Speaker 2: amends and prioritize my relationship over my persona. And I'm
- 6:33Speaker 2: not sure that's what she wants. She really enjoys the
- 6:35Speaker 2: persona and you know what, that's okay, But then you
- 6:38Speaker 2: can't expect privacy when you ask for it, or you
- 6:42Speaker 2: could if you say, I'm going to keep this personal,
- 6:44Speaker 2: but that's not what she's about. So as long as
- 6:48Speaker 2: she's happy and she's going on and you know what,
- 6:51Speaker 2: You've got your kids. It's okay to be a single
- 6:55Speaker 2: woman and enjoy your life. There is nothing wrong with that.
- 7:01Speaker 2: You can have lovers along the way. Girl, enjoy yourself.
- 7:05Speaker 1: That's right. She's got a career. She's got the biggest career,
- 7:07Speaker 1: one of the biggest careers out there. She loves this career.
- 7:10Speaker 1: She's worked really hard to get it, So congratulations for that.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Have you ever done that, though? Have you ever broken
- 7:15Speaker 1: up with somebody? I haven't had it done or I
- 7:17Speaker 1: haven't done this in a romantic way, but I've done
- 7:20Speaker 1: it in a personal way. When I've lost a job,
- 7:23Speaker 1: if I've been fired from a job or something. I'm
- 7:25Speaker 1: very aggressive on social media. I'm happier than ever. I'm
- 7:28Speaker 1: so happy, happy, happy, happy. I try to post pictures
- 7:32Speaker 1: of myself skipping down the streets, and I'm not happy.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I'm miserable, I'm so angry, I'm so sad. There, I'll
- 7:37Speaker 1: just say the opposite.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, be there, absolutely, Yeah, I've had that happen. When
- 7:43Speaker 2: I went through a breakup, I tried to put up
- 7:45Speaker 2: happy pictures as well. I went to Columbia. Both the
- 7:48Speaker 2: pictures of my bikini because I wanted everyone to see
- 7:52Speaker 2: maybe an ex to see how fabulous I was. But
- 7:56Speaker 2: sometimes you just need to take me time, work yourself
- 8:00Speaker 2: through it. And Natty's I'll tell you a little secret.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Many men from my past have contacted me recently. I'm
- 8:06Speaker 2: talking years about now. They're not quite available, so Miss
- 8:10Speaker 2: d would never pursue, but it does feel nice to
- 8:13Speaker 2: know they're still thinking about me.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Watching J's Nurse Jaylo knows this day are watching, which
- 8:19Speaker 1: brings us to our whole question of the day. Jennifer
- 8:21Speaker 1: has finally responded to the breakup with Ben by posting
- 8:24Speaker 1: a T shirt with a certain message on it, a
- 8:26Speaker 1: cryptic message, is it funny or is it desperate? Well,
- 8:30Speaker 1: that's quite a hard question today. Is it funny or
- 8:33Speaker 1: is it desperate? We've we've all been there. I think
- 8:35Speaker 1: I think we've all been there. What do you think?
- 8:38Speaker 1: Go vote on our Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robb
- 8:40Speaker 1: or our Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and be
- 8:43Speaker 1: sure to check back to morrow to hear your results. Say,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Miss Dee, what are you working on that? Well?
- 8:48Speaker 2: That movie? It ends with us. The star and director
- 8:51Speaker 2: Justin Baldoni continues to voice his support for domestic violence
- 8:55Speaker 2: Surviving Now. He recently shared a heartfelt message of encouragement
- 9:00Speaker 2: on social media now In a very poignant Instagram post,
- 9:03Speaker 2: he basically addressed those who have endured domestic violence, praising
- 9:08Speaker 2: their strength and resilience. He began his message by acknowledging
- 9:12Speaker 2: the incredible courage that survivors display every day. He emphasized
- 9:16Speaker 2: that while survivors may not always recognize the impact they
- 9:19Speaker 2: have on others, their journey serves as a beacon of
- 9:23Speaker 2: hope and motivation for those still struggling to find their
- 9:27Speaker 2: way now. He went on to express his solidarity with survivors,
- 9:30Speaker 2: assuring them that they are not alone in their battle.
- 9:33Speaker 2: And this is really poignant because we have heard that
- 9:37Speaker 2: maybe some of the other cast members of the movie
- 9:40Speaker 2: haven't been so forthwith What do you have to say about.
- 9:43Speaker 1: This, Rob Yeah, I wish they'd done this at the
- 9:45Speaker 1: beginning of the movie. So this has been a bit
- 9:47Speaker 1: of a disaster. Blake Lively has been called out for
- 9:49Speaker 1: some of her flippant comments. I think they didn't really
- 9:52Speaker 1: figure out how to sell this movie. I went into
- 9:54Speaker 1: this movie thinking I didn't read the book. I thought
- 9:57Speaker 1: it was sex and the City. I thought this is
- 9:58Speaker 1: going to be a summer romantic comedy. I thought it
- 10:01Speaker 1: was going to be Meg Ryan and You've Got Mail.
- 10:03Speaker 1: And when I watched it, I was like, oh my goodness,
- 10:05Speaker 1: I loved it. Definitely see it. It absolutely took my
- 10:08Speaker 1: breath away. It's a really amazing movie. Blake is great
- 10:12Speaker 1: in it. But there was a little bit of a
- 10:13Speaker 1: bait and switch. It didn't feel like the advertising was
- 10:16Speaker 1: quite really being honest about what this movie was. And
- 10:19Speaker 1: I think they should have really leant into this. And
- 10:22Speaker 1: now Justin is doing that. We know him and Blake
- 10:24Speaker 1: are in a bad place. There's lots of drama on
- 10:26Speaker 1: the set. I'm not even sure if they're talking on
- 10:29Speaker 1: the red carpet at the premiere. They wouldn't even take
- 10:31Speaker 1: photographs together. They did press separately, so we know there's
- 10:34Speaker 1: drama there. Justin has just hired a new PR team,
- 10:37Speaker 1: and I think this is a really clever move to
- 10:40Speaker 1: pen an open letter is something that is so powerful.
- 10:44Speaker 1: It's probably four weeks too late, but better late than ever.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Because this movie is about domestic violence, It's about being
- 10:51Speaker 1: a survivor, and that's the power of it. There's nothing
- 10:54Speaker 1: wrong with that. Some of the best movies of all
- 10:56Speaker 1: time are on really tough subjects. Shinless List is one
- 10:59Speaker 1: of my I don't want to say favorite movies, but
- 11:01Speaker 1: I think the movie is a masterpiece. People like these
- 11:05Speaker 1: really serious movies that really rip out your heart and
- 11:10Speaker 1: touch on real life events. Everything doesn't have to be
- 11:14Speaker 1: a comedy. We don't have to be giggling all the time.
- 11:17Speaker 1: In fact, the movies that I take the most from
- 11:19Speaker 1: mystery are the ones that are really hard to watch,
- 11:21Speaker 1: are the ones that actually confront the complexities of being
- 11:25Speaker 1: a human being, and this does that. I think it
- 11:28Speaker 1: is possible to think you love somebody who doesn't treat
- 11:31Speaker 1: you well and what happens there, and it's an amazing story.
- 11:35Speaker 1: Congratulations to Colin Hoover who wrote this book. I just
- 11:38Speaker 1: ordered it on Amazon. I want to read the book now.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I love this movie, but I do think there was
- 11:44Speaker 1: something about the marketing initially that didn't really help. But
- 11:48Speaker 1: I think it put Blake in quite a difficult position
- 11:51Speaker 1: when she said on camera, grab your girlfriends and get
- 11:55Speaker 1: some popcorn, and wear a pretty dress and come and
- 11:58Speaker 1: see this movie. Not the best thing.
- 12:00Speaker 2: To say, No, definitely not the best and a little
- 12:03Speaker 2: insider movie talk for you, not tease. So basically, another
- 12:08Speaker 2: movie came out a few weeks later called Blank Twice,
- 12:11Speaker 2: which is directed by Zoe Kravitz, and they actually put
- 12:15Speaker 2: a trigger warning on X because that movie deals with
- 12:20Speaker 2: sexual violence towards women, and after seeing what happened with
- 12:24Speaker 2: this movie it ends with us, they decided to do that.
- 12:28Speaker 2: So it's really interesting that they learned a lesson from
- 12:32Speaker 2: the first movie because you watch the commercial, you see
- 12:34Speaker 2: Channing Tatum, you see women on an Island. You know,
- 12:37Speaker 2: you know it's kind of a psychological thriller, but you
- 12:40Speaker 2: don't realize from the commercials that there's so much sexual
- 12:43Speaker 2: violence towards women.
- 12:46Speaker 1: No tell it, tell me upfront. We're already but nice.
- 12:48Speaker 1: That's what this podcast is called. That's who we are.
- 12:50Speaker 1: We deliver what we're going to say. We are. We
- 12:52Speaker 1: don't try to sneak in any darkness and so just
- 12:54Speaker 1: be who you are. And there's nothing wrong with that.
- 12:56Speaker 1: In fact, it's actually great. I love that they're a
- 12:59Speaker 1: place is in culture, in the arts for serious discussions.
- 13:03Speaker 1: My goodness. After I saw this movie, me and my
- 13:05Speaker 1: friends we went and had a drink and we talked
- 13:07Speaker 1: about it and it was an amazing evening, a really
- 13:11Speaker 1: deep evening. So thank you for the movie, and thank
- 13:13Speaker 1: you now Justin for penning this open letter. Okay, Prince
- 13:16Speaker 1: Harry reportedly wants some of his former royal aids to
- 13:21Speaker 1: help him plot his return. So there is a news
- 13:23Speaker 1: story out of London that Harry has enlisted the help
- 13:27Speaker 1: of several former aids in an effort to rehabilitate his reputation,
- 13:32Speaker 1: and he's really frustrated with the Hollywood publicist that he
- 13:36Speaker 1: has been using. I think we can agree that the
- 13:39Speaker 1: people that Harry and Meghan have been using have not
- 13:42Speaker 1: done a terribly good job. Their reputation at the moment
- 13:45Speaker 1: is not in a good place. The advice they've been
- 13:47Speaker 1: getting from publicists to normally do celebrities rather than royals
- 13:51Speaker 1: or statespeople, I think he's probably not been the best.
- 13:55Speaker 1: So Harry, according to a new reporters, reached out to
- 13:59Speaker 1: a former aid. His name is Edward Lane Fox. I
- 14:02Speaker 1: know this person. It was Harry's private secretary, and he's
- 14:06Speaker 1: known for his discretion and his loyalty, and a sauce said,
- 14:09Speaker 1: if anyone can help Edward can. The last time I
- 14:13Speaker 1: saw him, I wanted to take him on the shoulder
- 14:16Speaker 1: and say, Edward, please help our boy. Edward has declined
- 14:22Speaker 1: to comment on this, but I think going back to
- 14:25Speaker 1: people who have been successful in creating working with you,
- 14:30Speaker 1: creating your image is probably a good idea because this
- 14:33Speaker 1: Hollywood stuff mystery, he doesn't seem to be working.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Yes, And for anybody who's thinking, well, it's too little,
- 14:39Speaker 2: too late, you know you can't go home, I have
- 14:43Speaker 2: to say you can always go home. Family is important,
- 14:46Speaker 2: now getting your job back not so much. So I
- 14:50Speaker 2: think he needs to concentrate on rebuilding the relationship with
- 14:54Speaker 2: his family, with his father, with his brother, with his
- 14:57Speaker 2: mother in law. Do that first, and then after you're
- 15:02Speaker 2: back in the fall, that's when you could say, hey,
- 15:05Speaker 2: we'd love to take on some more responsibility. We're not
- 15:08Speaker 2: asking for titles back. We're not you know, you can't
- 15:10Speaker 2: ask for too much after you left and you wrote
- 15:13Speaker 2: a book. And maybe if they had left and kept
- 15:15Speaker 2: their mouth shut, that would have been different. They could
- 15:17Speaker 2: have been like, we're taking a break, just like on France.
- 15:20Speaker 2: But they've done a lot of things that's going to
- 15:22Speaker 2: take repair. So I think it's like, hey, I just
- 15:25Speaker 2: want to get back to my family, and then you
- 15:27Speaker 2: can start looking about what can we do that represents
- 15:31Speaker 2: the family.
- 15:33Speaker 1: Absolutely, Hey, forget Edward hire, miss d that's good advice. Hey,
- 15:36Speaker 1: we're going to take a good grade and we will
- 15:37Speaker 1: be right back. Welcome back to the naughty Bernicha the hostess.
- 15:42Speaker 1: You're shoot him with a dear friend. Misty, Hey, Misty,
- 15:45Speaker 1: let's get to the polls. The last year, we talked
- 15:48Speaker 1: about Leo remedi and Jlo falling at after Leah warned
- 15:51Speaker 1: Jennifer about Ben so she was not a fan of
- 15:55Speaker 1: Ben and she warns Jennifer. Jennifer got angry and cut
- 15:58Speaker 1: off their friendship. The question is, now that Jaylo is
- 16:01Speaker 1: getting divorced and ironically Leah is getting divorced too. After
- 16:05Speaker 1: twenty one years, should these two make friends, Like, should
- 16:08Speaker 1: they come together now they're both going through divorces. They
- 16:12Speaker 1: were really good friends. Everything Leah said has turned out
- 16:16Speaker 1: to be true. Can Jennifer swallow her pride? What do
- 16:18Speaker 1: you think should these two be friends again? Eighty six
- 16:22Speaker 1: percent said yes, bury the hatchet. You two are girlfriends,
- 16:26Speaker 1: get together. You need your friends in times of need.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Jennifer Lopez does not have many girlfriends and so I think, Leah,
- 16:34Speaker 1: come on back, don't forget to vote on today's pole.
- 16:37Speaker 1: Go to our Twitter page at Naughty Nyserrab or our
- 16:39Speaker 1: Facebook page which is Naughty Gossip, and be sure to
- 16:43Speaker 1: check back tomorrow to hear your results. And now it's
- 16:47Speaker 1: time for nice Nice of the day.
- 16:51Speaker 2: Ah Well, our nicest of the day is Selena Gomez
- 16:54Speaker 2: because she made a memorable surprise appearance at a Colorado
- 16:58Speaker 2: high school volleyball game and she fulfilled a public request
- 17:03Speaker 2: made by the team. So the students at Teleride High
- 17:06Speaker 2: School had posted a bright orange sign asking the astress
- 17:10Speaker 2: and singer to perform the national anthem during their match,
- 17:14Speaker 2: suggesting two possible times. It was August thirtieth and August
- 17:17Speaker 2: thirty first. Now Selena was in town to promote her
- 17:20Speaker 2: movie Amelia Perez, and she couldn't resist the heart felt plea,
- 17:24Speaker 2: so she actually shared the news of her visit on
- 17:27Speaker 2: social media, saying, they asked, I couldn't help it, It's
- 17:30Speaker 2: my first time in telewride. She showed up. I mean,
- 17:33Speaker 2: everybody in the audience was done. The game probably stopped,
- 17:36Speaker 2: the ball probably stopped in mid air, and she just said, look,
- 17:41Speaker 2: I had to be here, So she is our nicest
- 17:44Speaker 2: of the day.
- 17:46Speaker 1: Yeah nicest. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's a great story. And
- 17:48Speaker 1: now I noticed the day naughty, naughty. George Clooney is
- 17:51Speaker 1: denying that George and Brad got paid thirty five million
- 17:54Speaker 1: dollars each for their new film. Now, George is not
- 17:57Speaker 1: the naughtiest and Brady's not the naughtist. Whoever reports this
- 18:00Speaker 1: is just so naughty, and let me explain why. So
- 18:02Speaker 1: he's refuting. George's refuting the claims that they've made all
- 18:06Speaker 1: this money for their new film, Waltz, And he's saying
- 18:09Speaker 1: that that salary. It's bad to report that because then
- 18:12Speaker 1: everybody thinks there's a misconception out there and amongst actors
- 18:17Speaker 1: that could negatively impact the film industry. He said, it's
- 18:20Speaker 1: just unrealistic. Any actors out there that claim they're getting
- 18:24Speaker 1: thirty five million dollars. He thinks it's just not true
- 18:27Speaker 1: because the economics of it doesn't make sense. George said
- 18:30Speaker 1: the following quote. I think it's terrible and it will
- 18:33Speaker 1: make making movies impossible. Now, mister you and I have
- 18:38Speaker 1: been in the celebrity business a long time. The housewives
- 18:40Speaker 1: do this. They pretend that they earn a million dollars
- 18:43Speaker 1: a minute, and it's just not true. And if they did,
- 18:45Speaker 1: we'd have no more reality TV because it just wouldn't
- 18:48Speaker 1: be financially responsible. You just couldn't do it. And so
- 18:51Speaker 1: when people out there are saying in show business that
- 18:54Speaker 1: they earn all this money, don't get me wrong here, George,
- 18:57Speaker 1: Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt. They make a lot of money,
- 18:59Speaker 1: but it's not as much as what some of these
- 19:02Speaker 1: reports are. I've seen. I've worked with stars. They do
- 19:05Speaker 1: really well, but they don't do as well as you think.
- 19:10Speaker 1: And the reality stars, in particular, Mystic make I would argue,
- 19:14Speaker 1: less than a third of what they pretend they make. Now,
- 19:18Speaker 1: when you pretend to make a lot of money, the
- 19:20Speaker 1: problem is it inflates the whole industry and everybody thinks
- 19:24Speaker 1: they are then worthy deserve that amount of money, which
- 19:28Speaker 1: never actually existed in the first place. I know it
- 19:31Speaker 1: is the daylet's end with the moment a rob you're
- 19:32Speaker 1: gonna rob, you get a roub. I love this quote
- 19:34Speaker 1: from Jessica Simpson quote, I don't have anything to prove
- 19:38Speaker 1: to anybody. What other people think of me is not
- 19:41Speaker 1: my business, isn't that great. You don't have anything to
- 19:44Speaker 1: prove and what other people think of you, Nuney your business. Hey,
