Truck driver legend Edward Lee Dahms, Jr., who logged over a million miles and earned safety awards as a senior road trainer with Melton Truck Lines, passed away at 61 after a 10-month cancer battle. A lifelong Illinois native and devoted husband and father, Ed leaves behind his wife Alanna, son Robert, and a wide circle of family who remember his tireless spirit and the countless lives he touched on the road.
