- 0:20Speaker 1: I want your best, worst, and most clever excuses for
- 0:24Speaker 1: taking Tomorrow and Friday off from work, past or present,
- 0:30Speaker 1: what you've done in the past, or what you plan
- 0:32Speaker 1: on doing to get out of it this week eight
- 0:34Speaker 1: seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
- 0:36Speaker 3: That is eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox.
- 0:38Speaker 1: We have a lot to get to today, but I
- 0:40Speaker 1: want to start with a softball league that Israel Goodyerez
- 0:45Speaker 1: has been dragged into by Taylor Iz. He wants no
- 0:49Speaker 1: part of this. First off, let me just start by
- 0:51Speaker 1: saying this. It warms my heart to see this developing
- 0:56Speaker 1: relationship between Izzy and Taylor.
- 0:59Speaker 3: It does.
- 1:00Speaker 1: They've gotten closed, they continue to get closed. They spend
- 1:03Speaker 1: time together. Is he spends more time with his girlfriend
- 1:05Speaker 1: than Taylor does.
- 1:06Speaker 3: Well, here they We're going to be honest.
- 1:08Speaker 4: It's our respective others who are really close because they
- 1:13Speaker 4: shared the same last name. They're both Cuban. Yes, they
- 1:16Speaker 4: definitely get along and they hang out more so than
- 1:20Speaker 4: Taylor and I. They sort of I don't want to
- 1:23Speaker 4: say drag, but drag us into.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Hanging out together. But nonetheless.
- 1:30Speaker 5: None taken yasy, so STU. Every time we hang out
- 1:35Speaker 5: with them, they say, Hey, we're going to get drinks later,
- 1:37Speaker 5: are you guys coming? And I look at her every
- 1:39Speaker 5: time I said nope, this one's all you guess.
- 1:42Speaker 3: And I always end up back at home too, So.
- 1:45Speaker 1: I can't stand the guy who wants to go have
- 1:48Speaker 1: drinks after dinner like I had dinner with you.
- 1:50Speaker 3: Enough is enough?
- 1:51Speaker 4: Well, I mean one of those days was her birthday,
- 1:53Speaker 4: but we're not going to get into that. Ye're not
- 1:54Speaker 4: trying to get Taylor in trouble. Yes, regardless. I love
- 1:57Speaker 4: to see your relationship relationship develop and grow. Taylor called
- 2:00Speaker 4: you a mentor of sorts. Yeah, he's got a lot
- 2:03Speaker 4: of mentors to choose from. I'm just enough sorts, which
- 2:06Speaker 4: is fine. Yah, there's a lot of pressure to be so.
- 2:08Speaker 3: Taylor has gotten to know you a little bit, but
- 2:10Speaker 3: I really know you is real good.
- 2:11Speaker 1: He heres okay, And you are being dragged into a
- 2:15Speaker 1: softball league by Taylor that you don't want to participate in.
- 2:19Speaker 1: And I understand why. Let me just say this, I
- 2:22Speaker 1: know is he is. He doesn't like to be embarrassed.
- 2:26Speaker 1: Is he fancies himself to be a very good athlete.
- 2:29Speaker 1: And he is a very good athlete. He came to
- 2:31Speaker 1: play golf with me once. He had n't played in
- 2:35Speaker 1: two and a half years. He thought he was going
- 2:37Speaker 1: to stroll out there and shoot a sixty eight. And
- 2:40Speaker 1: I'm telling you every bad shot he hit, he was
- 2:43Speaker 1: throwing clubs all over the course. I was embarrassed, okay.
- 2:46Speaker 1: And he was embarrassed because his game wasn't up to snuff.
- 2:49Speaker 3: Okay.
- 2:50Speaker 1: And that's because he hadn't played in two and a
- 2:51Speaker 1: half years. And now he's being dragged into this softball
- 2:55Speaker 1: league that he wants no part of it. Let's be honest.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Adult softball leagues are laying to get away from your wife,
- 3:01Speaker 1: away from your kids, and go drink a keg and
- 3:03Speaker 1: play some softball maybe, okay, And that's not is he?
- 3:07Speaker 3: See?
- 3:08Speaker 1: So he is being dragged into this and he keeps
- 3:11Speaker 1: telling me during breaks, I mean for a week and
- 3:13Speaker 1: a half, now, maybe I should play catcher, Maybe I
- 3:16Speaker 1: should be a pinch runner. Maybe you shouldn't go How
- 3:20Speaker 1: does that sound? Maybe you should not have agreed to
- 3:22Speaker 1: be a part of Taylor's softball league, because I am
- 3:25Speaker 1: telling you right now, Taylor, he takes softball very seriously.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I blacked the whole deal. He's chatting up the pitcher.
- 3:32Speaker 1: He wants to win every single game.
- 3:34Speaker 3: Is he? You've been dragged into a league that you
- 3:37Speaker 3: want no part of.
- 3:38Speaker 4: Good afternoons, dude, for starters, You've absolutely nailed that part
- 3:44Speaker 4: of it, but you've brought a lot of more emotions
- 3:48Speaker 4: that I wasn't ready for this afternoon. Okay, I'm sorry
- 3:51Speaker 4: that time that I played golf with you guys and
- 3:54Speaker 4: I brought Anthony out there, Yeah, that was wow, low
- 3:58Speaker 4: key one of my most embarrassing days of my life,
- 4:02Speaker 4: right because while I was out there and I thought
- 4:05Speaker 4: I was, you know, to myself, just kind of murmuring,
- 4:08Speaker 4: just kind of getting annoyed and just kind of flicking
- 4:10Speaker 4: a club, not really throwing it, but flicking a club,
- 4:13Speaker 4: just getting super annoyed. And then like Anthony's telling me,
- 4:15Speaker 4: it's like, yeah, just relax, you're getting a little too heated.
- 4:19Speaker 3: And I'm like, what are you talking about? It's just me.
- 4:21Speaker 3: There's nobody else.
- 4:22Speaker 4: And now that I realize years later that everybody else
- 4:26Speaker 4: was like, Wow, I'm embarrassed because he's getting upset like.
- 4:28Speaker 3: That makes me feel so terrible. I don't think you
- 4:32Speaker 3: understand how bad I feel right now.
- 4:34Speaker 1: It's hard not to notice when you throw a club
- 4:36Speaker 1: longer than you hit the ball.
- 4:37Speaker 4: I mean, well, it didn't take long, didn't take very
- 4:41Speaker 4: far because they didn't hit the ball very far.
- 4:43Speaker 3: And yeah, I might I might have flung that.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Club a little bit, but I thought that's what people
- 4:48Speaker 4: do when they're mad, h you know, playing a bad
- 4:50Speaker 4: round of golf, just fling your clubs around.
- 4:52Speaker 1: So I feel like the problem that day, that particular
- 4:55Speaker 1: to golf, that's the problem. Well, no, the problem was
- 4:57Speaker 1: Anthony because he's Kyler Murray. He the guy who could stroll.
- 5:01Speaker 1: He sits on the couch for two and a half
- 5:02Speaker 1: years playing video games, gets up off the couch, strolls
- 5:05Speaker 1: onto a golf course. The first t yeah, I'm telling you,
- 5:09Speaker 1: three hundred and ten yard drive straight down the pipe.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Yet I mean nailed it. It's the greatest drive I've
- 5:16Speaker 1: ever seen, and I've been to the Masters, So imagine
- 5:19Speaker 1: having to deal with that all the time.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Yeah, especially when you suck at it, so it's annoying.
- 5:24Speaker 5: Yeah, Scott, is he shuffler?
- 5:28Speaker 3: So yeah.
- 5:30Speaker 4: Back a couple of weeks ago, maybe three four weeks ago,
- 5:32Speaker 4: Taylor asked if I wanted to join the softball league,
- 5:35Speaker 4: and frankly, the first emotion that I had was.
- 5:40Speaker 3: Just I felt bad. I was like, well, of course.
- 5:42Speaker 4: I'm going to join, right. He just moved back down
- 5:44Speaker 4: here from New York. Even when he was down here
- 5:46Speaker 4: the first time, it was all the way down in Miami,
- 5:48Speaker 4: so he doesn't really know anybody really in Fort Lauderdale here,
- 5:51Speaker 4: and it's a park by my house, relatively close. So
- 5:53Speaker 4: I'm like, all right, let's do it, Stu. I haven't
- 5:56Speaker 4: played softball but one time in my life. One game,
- 6:00Speaker 4: I think I was twenty years old. I was in
- 6:02Speaker 4: the outfield. They thought I was good outfielder. The first
- 6:04Speaker 4: ball that went out there hit me in the chest,
- 6:06Speaker 4: like I was just a terrible outfield there.
- 6:09Speaker 3: And I'm pretty.
- 6:11Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure I tore a quadriceps muscle, but I
- 6:14Speaker 4: didn't really diagnose until like a few days later. Just
- 6:18Speaker 4: trying to hustle and beat out a ground at a
- 6:20Speaker 4: first base. So it was one of the worst sports
- 6:22Speaker 4: experiences of my life.
- 6:24Speaker 5: So I love Izzy and is he don't take this
- 6:26Speaker 5: the wrong way with Jesus, I did not ask you
- 6:29Speaker 5: to join my softball team to hang out with you.
- 6:35Speaker 3: But I will tell you this is there are drinks
- 6:37Speaker 3: after I mean, in.
- 6:39Speaker 4: Fairness, Taylor, I know I can. I mean I can
- 6:42Speaker 4: hit line drive after line drive. That part's not the problem.
- 6:45Speaker 4: My problem is just, hey, I need to at one point,
- 6:48Speaker 4: just give me five minutes.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Let me shag a couple of balls. Let me see
- 6:52Speaker 3: a couple balls come off the bat. Okay, I'm good,
- 6:55Speaker 3: that's all I need.
- 6:56Speaker 4: But if I haven't done that and I don't know
- 6:59Speaker 4: twenty eight years, yeah, I'm gonna be a little nervous
- 7:03Speaker 4: about going out there, especially Taylor, when this is a
- 7:06Speaker 4: free agent league, which I'm gonna go ahead and guess
- 7:10Speaker 4: a quarter of the people on the team.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Are gonna recognize me.
- 7:13Speaker 4: And this is not me being oh you know, so
- 7:16Speaker 4: I'm just telling you one or two they're gonna be like, hey,
- 7:19Speaker 4: is that is it easy? Good years used to be
- 7:21Speaker 4: And I'm gonna be like, yeah, this is me, and yeah,
- 7:24Speaker 4: I used to tell people that I play football all
- 7:26Speaker 4: the time, and yeah, you're gonna think I'm awesome at this.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Look I'm not, okay, just relaxed. But I don't want
- 7:31Speaker 3: to have to go through of it, right, It's fair, Stu.
- 7:34Speaker 5: I've never been so happy that I don't live down there.
- 7:37Speaker 6: I would hate to have to try and have to
- 7:39Speaker 6: join this league because Taylor would guilt me into.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It, especially when you've got Taylor bombs. Yeah right now.
- 7:45Speaker 1: And it's a year round thing down here because the
- 7:47Speaker 1: weather's always nice. I'm telling you, never stops the saltball
- 7:50Speaker 1: down here. It just it just never stops. But that
- 7:52Speaker 1: is is, that's what is he lives with. Okay, when
- 7:55Speaker 1: he shows up, he's a physical specimen. Is he is
- 7:58Speaker 1: in better shape than any one that I know. That's
- 8:01Speaker 1: not saying much, by the way, but he's.
- 8:03Speaker 3: In great shape.
- 8:04Speaker 1: And when he strolls onto an athletic field, people just assume,
- 8:07Speaker 1: because of how he looks that he is going to
- 8:10Speaker 1: be the best athlete on the field.
- 8:12Speaker 3: And that's not the case. It's Anthony, go ahead, Taylor.
- 8:14Speaker 5: So that's exactly why I asked Izzy to play. When
- 8:17Speaker 5: I played intramural softball in Miami, we did not win
- 8:21Speaker 5: a game the entire season. It was embarrassing.
- 8:23Speaker 3: It's like you're terrible.
- 8:24Speaker 5: It was humbling. No, I was good. I joined a
- 8:27Speaker 5: team as a free agent and is he This is
- 8:29Speaker 5: the thing you got to understand. I'm not worried about
- 8:33Speaker 5: other people looking at you and being like, oh my god,
- 8:35Speaker 5: is that Isy Gutierra's because I'm gonna cover you in
- 8:38Speaker 5: the field, because people are gonna look at me and
- 8:40Speaker 5: be like, oh my god, is that Andrew Jones.
- 8:45Speaker 4: That's you're gonna say Willie Mades because that's how he
- 8:48Speaker 4: talks about himself too. Gods as a center fielder, the
- 8:52Speaker 4: greatest there's ever been. He was saying that there are
- 8:54Speaker 4: people that we know that just had their jaw dropped
- 8:57Speaker 4: when he had made a play in front of him.
- 8:58Speaker 4: And I'm just like Taylor, very high expectations.
- 9:03Speaker 5: So Stu, if I had an arm and I could bat,
- 9:06Speaker 5: I'd be in the MLB right now.
- 9:07Speaker 3: I'm certain you would.
- 9:08Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:09Speaker 5: The problem is I cover so much ground in the
- 9:12Speaker 5: outfield with my legs, but the second I catch the ball,
- 9:16Speaker 5: I'm looking into the nearest outfielder and trying to flip
- 9:18Speaker 5: them the ball so they could throw it in.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yes, I am so proud of you.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Yes, I'm Johnny Damon.
- 9:23Speaker 1: He's a one tool player, but damn it that tool Listen.
- 9:26Speaker 1: I was thirty one at one time as well. I
- 9:28Speaker 1: had a rational confidence. I thought I could still play
- 9:31Speaker 1: in the majors. I thought I was the best softball player.
- 9:33Speaker 3: On my team. I wasn't.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Okay, But Taylor's going to take this thing so seriously.
- 9:38Speaker 1: It'd be so disappointed when he sees his he'd take
- 9:41Speaker 1: his first to bat, strike out and throw his bat.
- 9:44Speaker 3: I mean, no, that's not gonna happen. Yes it will.
- 9:47Speaker 6: Last time I played softball, I ended up needing trauma
- 9:50Speaker 6: surgery on my leg.
- 9:52Speaker 3: Yes, but you are right about yourself, Mikey A.
- 9:54Speaker 1: If you show up to a softball field like and
- 9:57Speaker 1: I don't know anybody, I am batting you forth and playing.
- 9:59Speaker 3: For no doubt.
- 10:01Speaker 6: And that's exactly what they did. I hit a dribbler
- 10:03Speaker 6: up the line, took one step out of the box
- 10:05Speaker 6: and shattered my had.
- 10:07Speaker 3: To be helped to the hospital. Wow, that's worse than
- 10:10Speaker 3: my story.
- 10:10Speaker 5: Mikey's the guy who shows up to the intramural soft
- 10:13Speaker 5: phonees like I want to play shortstop and everybody's looking
- 10:15Speaker 5: at him like, no, you're playing first base sladder.
- 10:18Speaker 3: No, let me say this since we're in the therapy
- 10:20Speaker 3: session here.
- 10:21Speaker 4: For me, Since that golf outing, I have become such
- 10:25Speaker 4: a more calm competitor, unless.
- 10:28Speaker 3: You, you know, do do wrong by me.
- 10:31Speaker 4: On the football field, I am much more of a
- 10:33Speaker 4: calling competitor. I no longer have crazy high standards for
- 10:37Speaker 4: myself that I shouldn't have, which was what the problem
- 10:39Speaker 4: was over there. I was like, oh, yeah, I can
- 10:41Speaker 4: hang with these guys, the Chris Cody's and the Stugatsa's
- 10:44Speaker 4: and the Anthony's.
- 10:45Speaker 3: No I couldn't.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I should I should have just been sitting in the
- 10:48Speaker 4: cart drinking and not playing at all.
- 10:51Speaker 3: I'm way calmer now.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I played just about every day, and I couldn't hang
- 10:54Speaker 1: with Anthony.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Well, I mean your back is wrecked. Let me just
- 11:00Speaker 3: say this too.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Our season technically started two days ago. Our softball season.
- 11:05Speaker 4: This team that we're on there called the brew Crew,
- 11:07Speaker 4: which I believe is just a default free agent name.
- 11:09Speaker 3: Wait, so you guys had a game. No, what happened.
- 11:12Speaker 4: I was a little bit nervous about this, pulled some strings,
- 11:15Speaker 4: gave it, got us a week one bye, the.
- 11:18Speaker 3: Rare week one bye?
- 11:20Speaker 5: Who has ever heard of a week one bye?
- 11:24Speaker 3: The team that needs a little time to break into
- 11:27Speaker 3: the season. Because I'm on it, that's why.
- 11:30Speaker 4: And I really hope somebody on our team is somehow
- 11:32Speaker 4: listening at nine pin forty down here in South Florida, Right, so,
- 11:34Speaker 4: so he can help and tell your friends, Hey, let's ease.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Is he in a little bit? He's not too comfortable
- 11:38Speaker 4: with this ball in a stick game?
- 11:40Speaker 1: Is there an odd number of teams? How do you
- 11:42Speaker 1: pull off a bye week in week one?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Tell me, man, I don't ask any questions. I just
- 11:46Speaker 3: asked for favors, Right.
- 11:47Speaker 5: So, I think there's a limited amount of fields. And
- 11:49Speaker 5: one of the things is he if we're being open
- 11:52Speaker 5: and honest about everything. That I'm worried about is that
- 11:55Speaker 5: this show is big in South Florida. I'm worried about
- 11:58Speaker 5: people hearing about us playing in the softball league and
- 12:02Speaker 5: inspiring other people to be like, hey, we are not
- 12:05Speaker 5: losing to these two that have a national radio s
- 12:08Speaker 5: Right yeah.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Let me just tell you that is not going to
- 12:11Speaker 3: be a problem.
- 12:13Speaker 4: I'm pretty sure we could wear STI Goats and Company
- 12:15Speaker 4: gear and they'd be like.
- 12:17Speaker 3: Who are you guys?
- 12:18Speaker 1: Yes, Taylor, you don't realize, like is he is so
- 12:21Speaker 1: nervous about this. He wants to look good. He wants
- 12:23Speaker 1: to impress. He always looks good, but he wants to
- 12:25Speaker 1: he wants to impress. Like I imagine he got that
- 12:28Speaker 1: bye week, he called in a favor, and he is
- 12:30Speaker 1: spending every single waking second at a batting cage somewhere,
- 12:35Speaker 1: just trying to get himself up to snake batting portion.
- 12:39Speaker 3: Not what I'm concerned about. I understand that everything. I
- 12:42Speaker 3: also got a bucky' shoulder.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Yeah, but let me tell you something. You can make
- 12:45Speaker 1: as many errors as you want as long as.
- 12:47Speaker 8: You can hit.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Okay, well that's it. Like no one cares as long
- 12:50Speaker 3: as you can hit. Go ahead to hell.
- 12:51Speaker 5: We're not making batting cages like we used to write.
- 12:53Speaker 1: Oh we're not, No, put it on the pole? Are
- 12:57Speaker 1: we making batting cages like we used to?
- 13:00Speaker 5: If you used to want to go to a batting cage,
- 13:02Speaker 5: there was probably a batting cage, you know, ten to
- 13:03Speaker 5: fifteen minutes away for me. Now you probably have to
- 13:06Speaker 5: drive forty five plus minutes.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I also don't need a batting cage. To hit
- 13:11Speaker 3: softballs like there doesn't create bat kids. That's a job.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Taylor is telling you to get to the cage.
- 13:17Speaker 4: I mean, I believe I might need some practice to
- 13:20Speaker 4: get some rust off, but I don't think there's a
- 13:22Speaker 4: batting cage anywhere that throws lob softball pitches.
- 13:26Speaker 3: So again, how'd you pull off a week one by? Again?
- 13:30Speaker 4: I don't want to say. I don't want to give
- 13:32Speaker 4: away my sources. I just found a way to not
- 13:34Speaker 4: play this week.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yes, there'll be many occasions when you show up to
- 13:38Speaker 1: the softball game and the other team won't have enough
- 13:40Speaker 1: players to play in the softball game.
- 13:43Speaker 3: You all have wasted your time on that drive.
- 13:45Speaker 1: You get to win, but then you're stuck hanging around
- 13:47Speaker 1: with your team and the opponents just drinking out of
- 13:50Speaker 1: a keg. Again, softball leagues were not made for Israel.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Goody airs, Taylor, leave them alone. He doesn't want to
- 13:56Speaker 1: sit around the keg and out guy talk.
- 13:58Speaker 4: Taylor, I don't actually bring kegs, and I'm gonna bring
- 14:00Speaker 4: like a twelve pack of surf sides and I'm good.
- 14:03Speaker 5: I'm not bringing a keg. I'm just bringing my glove
- 14:06Speaker 5: and ready to play.
- 14:07Speaker 3: He's just bringing the defense. I'm bringing the no fly zone.
- 14:10Speaker 6: I thought he was going to stay, bringing a six
- 14:12Speaker 6: pack and lift up his shirt or something.
- 14:15Speaker 3: That would be easy if I ever make a mistake.
- 14:17Speaker 4: I'm just undressing in front of everybody to distract them.
- 14:22Speaker 3: You should first just play shirtless as a reminder when
- 14:26Speaker 3: the ball goes off your chest, just how ripped you are,
- 14:30Speaker 3: and what.
- 14:30Speaker 4: A great athlete you want to have to go pantless,
- 14:32Speaker 4: giving how many mistakes I might make.
- 14:35Speaker 3: I want to come to a game.
- 14:37Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company

- 15:16Speaker 1: Please subscribe, rate, and review.
- 15:19Speaker 4: But first, do I finally get to talk basketball with
- 15:22Speaker 4: a qualified human being beyond qualified. Tracy McGrady, Hall of Famer,
- 15:27Speaker 4: is the analyst on NBA on NBC, and he's coming
- 15:30Speaker 4: to us courtesy of the Ones Basketball League, which he founded.
- 15:34Speaker 3: T mac, thank you so much for joining us.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Man, how you been. I'm good, guys. How y'all doing easy?
- 15:39Speaker 8: What up? Brother?
- 15:41Speaker 3: I'm good, man, I'm good.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Missing the days of the jump, But hey, really quick,
- 15:44Speaker 4: tell me about the Ones Basketball League because there's a
- 15:47Speaker 4: lot of people doing some really cool stuff with basketball,
- 15:50Speaker 4: whether it be like high school, whether it be prep schools,
- 15:52Speaker 4: whether it be anything else, but One's Basketball League sounds
- 15:55Speaker 4: pretty cool, yes.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Sir, so. I started it back in twenty two, just
- 16:00Speaker 8: trying to proof the concept season. I got some great
- 16:03Speaker 8: feedback from that, went on a capitol run, raise some
- 16:07Speaker 8: money over the years, and I have a great partner
- 16:12Speaker 8: that saw my vision on what I was trying to build.
- 16:15Speaker 8: He comes from, you know, alternative leagues of sports, and
- 16:20Speaker 8: you know, being successful in that starting a VP volleyball
- 16:25Speaker 8: has a team in the Big Three of ice QB League,
- 16:30Speaker 8: and you know saw what I was doing, which is
- 16:34Speaker 8: this company is called Next Gen Sports and they saw
- 16:38Speaker 8: my vision. So here we are created eight teams, and
- 16:43Speaker 8: what I felt like basketball needed was for cities to
- 16:49Speaker 8: actually be able to rally around home grown players from
- 16:53Speaker 8: that city and with one on one being you know,
- 16:57Speaker 8: if you look on social media, I mean there's a
- 16:59Speaker 8: lot of one on one basketball being played around the country,
- 17:03Speaker 8: and I felt like, I want to add that component
- 17:07Speaker 8: to where the player is from that city and he's
- 17:11Speaker 8: getting it back in and the support of a community
- 17:14Speaker 8: that he comes from, and were getting great feedback from that.
- 17:18Speaker 8: The communities are loving it. We got some great talent,
- 17:22Speaker 8: and what I also wanted to do is give ownership
- 17:26Speaker 8: to guys that are from that respective cities. Guys like
- 17:30Speaker 8: you know Jadakiss, who's a hip hop artist, well known.
- 17:35Speaker 8: He's from New York City, obviously youngers. I gave him
- 17:40Speaker 8: the New York team. Vince Carter and my cousin has
- 17:42Speaker 8: the Orlando team. Lorenz Tate, a big time actor out
- 17:47Speaker 8: of Chicago. My brother got him to Chicago team. Tim
- 17:51Speaker 8: Hardaway Senior had the Miami team, So I'm spreading this around.
- 17:56Speaker 8: I got my brother John Wall with his Raleigh from Raleigh,
- 17:59Speaker 8: got his team in there, and these guys are really
- 18:01Speaker 8: excited about, you know, bringing that that energy, that passion
- 18:05Speaker 8: of basketball and one on one to their respective communities.
- 18:09Speaker 8: And here we are, well.
- 18:10Speaker 4: One on one is crazy entertaining anyway, But I just
- 18:13Speaker 4: love the idea of getting to know the young kids
- 18:16Speaker 4: in their hometown before they blow up, whether it be
- 18:19Speaker 4: in college or somewhere else. So that that's pretty dope. Yes, sir,
- 18:24Speaker 4: I don't know how much if I'm sorry, go ahead.
- 18:26Speaker 8: No, that was that was the goal, you know. I
- 18:29Speaker 8: think it's important that you know, some of these guys
- 18:33Speaker 8: don't have the luxury of the opportunity to play professional basketball,
- 18:36Speaker 8: so I once create a platform to where they felt
- 18:39Speaker 8: like they're pro in this space. And I believe, you know,
- 18:43Speaker 8: being one on one and being elite at that we
- 18:47Speaker 8: can make you a pro. It's not about you know
- 18:50Speaker 8: where you are, it's the platform you on and who
- 18:54Speaker 8: you are affiliated, what you're competing against. And that's the
- 18:57Speaker 8: top one on one players in the country.
- 19:00Speaker 1: Uh, Team Mac, how many times did you and Vince
- 19:02Speaker 1: Carter play one on one? Because I would pay money
- 19:05Speaker 1: even today I watch YouTube just go one on one?
- 19:08Speaker 8: You know what, coach coach Carter, Butch Carter had us
- 19:11Speaker 8: on the same team all the time, Like we we
- 19:13Speaker 8: never played one on one at all. He always just
- 19:17Speaker 8: kept on the same team, right.
- 19:20Speaker 3: That seems unfair. I gotta be honest. Looked like in
- 19:23Speaker 3: each of your primes, in our prime.
- 19:27Speaker 8: Yeah, I'm six nine Cousins sixty five, sixty six, I
- 19:32Speaker 8: got I'm just as quick as he is. I'm longer,
- 19:35Speaker 8: I shoot the ball. Well, I mean, yeah, right, right,
- 19:42Speaker 8: that's what I do.
- 19:44Speaker 3: What would Vince's answer be to that question, I mean.
- 19:49Speaker 8: I will hope he would say he will be mere. Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 8: I would hope. So I don't expect anything else, Tam.
- 19:58Speaker 4: The three teams you're most associated with your days all
- 20:00Speaker 4: seem to be pretty interesting this year, the Raptors and
- 20:02Speaker 4: Magic and the Rockets. But I'm I'm locked in on
- 20:05Speaker 4: the Rockets, not just because of Men Thompson is my
- 20:07Speaker 4: favorite player in the league, but because it's interesting to
- 20:09Speaker 4: see the dynamics there. To me, I think done a
- 20:12Speaker 4: little bit of trouble with email Udoka. I don't know
- 20:14Speaker 4: if he's the right coach for this group. I feel
- 20:17Speaker 4: like his offense might be a little outdated, and it
- 20:20Speaker 4: really showed late in that Lakers game the other night.
- 20:22Speaker 4: What do you think of the Rockets and the fit
- 20:24Speaker 4: with that with e may and and you know the
- 20:26Speaker 4: offense around Kevin Durant.
- 20:28Speaker 8: So the Rockets are and what third spot right now?
- 20:32Speaker 3: Yeah, they're covering around third and fourth or or.
- 20:34Speaker 8: Four third fourth. And you just said you don't know
- 20:37Speaker 8: if Emi is the right coach when they were the
- 20:39Speaker 8: second last year without.
- 20:40Speaker 3: K Yeah, I know, sounds crazy, but it's just the offense.
- 20:44Speaker 3: To me, Trace, I just don't let me act.
- 20:48Speaker 8: Let me ask you this. Did you did you have
- 20:53Speaker 8: reservations and questions about the offense last year?
- 20:58Speaker 3: Well, no, I didn't be because I thought they were
- 21:00Speaker 3: doing the best of what they had.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I thought they were limited. They didn't really have a
- 21:04Speaker 4: close yet. But when things were flowing all right, you know,
- 21:06Speaker 4: going through Shanghu, I thought they were pretty solid.
- 21:08Speaker 8: Right. So this year they add Kevin Durant and the
- 21:13Speaker 8: offense is stagnant. They don't have a point guard, which
- 21:19Speaker 8: you know, I think if they had Fred, we wouldn't
- 21:22Speaker 8: be seeing what we're seeing now. And I'm gonna tell
- 21:25Speaker 8: you what you're seeing. This is the problem that I've
- 21:28Speaker 8: been having the last few years with Katie and his teams.
- 21:33Speaker 8: Katie is such a great offensive player, can create space
- 21:39Speaker 8: one on one, no one can touch him. He's get
- 21:41Speaker 8: a shot off and he's going to hit that. But
- 21:43Speaker 8: when it becomes a problem on his teams, when he
- 21:47Speaker 8: stopped trusting his teammates and now he goes and gets
- 21:52Speaker 8: the ball and tries to bring it up and be
- 21:53Speaker 8: the point guard. And that's never going to work because
- 21:56Speaker 8: that's not who Katie is. And that's why they're offense
- 22:00Speaker 8: against the Lakers. The other night. You saw that fourth quarter.
- 22:04Speaker 8: It was so stagnant and Katie is trying to run
- 22:07Speaker 8: picking rolls at the half court line. They're double team
- 22:11Speaker 8: in you. You're passing it to someone that is not
- 22:14Speaker 8: a playmaker. And that's what in a result, ye the Lakers, right,
- 22:19Speaker 8: they just disrupted your whole offense. He can't play like that,
- 22:23Speaker 8: and that's how he's been playing. And that I will
- 22:26Speaker 8: give you and say that is on Emay. I don't
- 22:29Speaker 8: think it's the offense. I think it's there out of
- 22:32Speaker 8: positioning and Katie is not trusting his teammates, so in essense,
- 22:36Speaker 8: he's going to get in the ball and trying to
- 22:37Speaker 8: do it hisself, and that's never gonna work.
- 22:39Speaker 4: Yeah, because I remember early in the year that Kad
- 22:41Speaker 4: would tell the guy, no, you go like to stop
- 22:44Speaker 4: forcing me the ball, you go and get yours, And
- 22:47Speaker 4: eventually they got a little bit of confidence and so
- 22:49Speaker 4: but now it feels like they're regressing back into Hey,
- 22:51Speaker 4: we got to get Katie the ball every time, and
- 22:52Speaker 4: it just feels really easy to defend.
- 22:55Speaker 8: That's exactly what it is. And that's that's why I
- 22:58Speaker 8: have my hesitation on Houston doing it, because if they're
- 23:00Speaker 8: gonna play like they played the other night, that is
- 23:03Speaker 8: so easy to defend and they're gonna lose.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Hey, t Mac, this is Taylor. You were my favorite
- 23:08Speaker 5: player growing up. I think what is he just did
- 23:10Speaker 5: to you was a disservice when he mentioned the teams
- 23:12Speaker 5: you're most associated for, because I'm a Knicks fan.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Yeah, and your.
- 23:16Speaker 8: Debut, No, bro, stop it.
- 23:21Speaker 3: You just want to talk about your debut? It well,
- 23:23Speaker 3: stop it, stop it, stop it.
- 23:27Speaker 1: He wanted to ask you what you remember most about
- 23:29Speaker 1: your stint with the Knicks, that's all.
- 23:31Speaker 8: Oh man, stop it, man, stop it. I just wish
- 23:35Speaker 8: I was I wish I was healthy when I went
- 23:37Speaker 8: to the Knicks. I just wasn't man, because you just
- 23:40Speaker 8: don't understand how I love. Everyone loves playing in the Garden,
- 23:44Speaker 8: but to be playing in there every single night for
- 23:46Speaker 8: a home game, Oh my god. I just couldn't give
- 23:49Speaker 8: them what I wanted to give them because I was injured.
- 23:53Speaker 5: So I was just gonna say, before this recent Jalen
- 23:55Speaker 5: Brunson run, your debut where you scored twenty six points
- 23:59Speaker 5: in that in that overtime game against the Thunder one
- 24:02Speaker 5: of my favorite basketball experiences since I was such a
- 24:05Speaker 5: T MAC fan.
- 24:06Speaker 8: Listen that night. I was so pumped up, man, I was.
- 24:11Speaker 8: I was looking forward to that game. Mind you, I'm
- 24:15Speaker 8: coming off of Michael faxor surgery, so I'm running on
- 24:19Speaker 8: sheer adrenaline right out there playing against Katie Russ and
- 24:25Speaker 8: James Harden. Had a great game. But once that adrenaline
- 24:29Speaker 8: ran off.
- 24:29Speaker 3: Man, Tracy mcge is with us. He's great. T Mac.
- 24:39Speaker 1: What'd you make of bam adebaios eighty three points? Is
- 24:42Speaker 1: he do not tamper the jury?
- 24:46Speaker 9: You know what?
- 24:46Speaker 8: I enjoyed it because I didn't get a chance to
- 24:48Speaker 8: see Cobs eighty one. I had a game that night,
- 24:52Speaker 8: so and when I got on the bus, they told
- 24:54Speaker 8: me what happened. So we were in the studio and
- 24:58Speaker 8: they told me he had thirty one point in the
- 25:00Speaker 8: first quarter, but I wasn't paying any time, and I
- 25:02Speaker 8: was like, oh, okay, and then I looked up myself
- 25:07Speaker 8: at halftime he had forty three. I yelled out. I
- 25:10Speaker 8: was like, yo, damn had forty three. They was like, Yo,
- 25:13Speaker 8: We've been trying to tell you this the whole time.
- 25:19Speaker 8: I was in my own mind, watching other games in
- 25:23Speaker 8: the studio, really not paying attention. And then I locked
- 25:26Speaker 8: in in the second half, man, and I was, you know,
- 25:28Speaker 8: a fanboy, just cheering for him. I saw history. You know,
- 25:31Speaker 8: I think the people that we're living in the present
- 25:34Speaker 8: time and when see how he got the eighty three,
- 25:37Speaker 8: but eighty three is eighty three. I'm going for history
- 25:40Speaker 8: if I have a chance to do it, because yes,
- 25:43Speaker 8: the people in the present time, some people have a
- 25:45Speaker 8: problem with it, But the ones that are coming after us,
- 25:49Speaker 8: I'm not going to give a darn of how it looked.
- 25:52Speaker 8: They're gonna look at it and be like, damn out
- 25:54Speaker 8: of Biascol eighty three points for the Miami. He like,
- 25:56Speaker 8: that's all that's gonna matter, right, Yeah.
- 25:58Speaker 4: History, talk to me if you didn't watch the first
- 26:01Speaker 4: seventy points, don't talk to me about just the last thirty.
- 26:03Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah, I'm not trying to hear that slander on
- 26:07Speaker 8: that at all.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Right, last thing here t MAC before and we're going
- 26:11Speaker 4: to get you to promote your league one more time.
- 26:13Speaker 4: But the NBA is talking about expansion, possibly to Seattle
- 26:17Speaker 4: and Vegas. Do you not think the league is ready
- 26:21Speaker 4: or healthy enough for to add two teams.
- 26:24Speaker 8: I just don't think we have the talent. I'm gonna
- 26:26Speaker 8: be honest with you. I think the league is already
- 26:28Speaker 8: watered down. I just to add two more teams, Hey,
- 26:35Speaker 8: that's what they want to do, man, I'm gonna talk
- 26:38Speaker 8: about it on NBC.
- 26:40Speaker 3: You're gonna go to Vegas when as.
- 26:45Speaker 8: I just I to me, I'm looking at the league
- 26:49Speaker 8: how it is right now, and I'm like, Yo, there's
- 26:52Speaker 8: just not a lot of talent to be trying to
- 26:54Speaker 8: start two new teams. But that's the NBA. Man.
- 26:58Speaker 4: Maybe that's how they get people to stop shooting these threes.
- 27:00Speaker 4: It's like, we're not good enough. Stop shooting grades. They
- 27:02Speaker 4: got too many teams, Racie.
- 27:04Speaker 3: That's business. They see, there's money to be made, and
- 27:07Speaker 3: I had two more teams, but on you know.
- 27:09Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we don't care about it being watered down.
- 27:11Speaker 8: We care about getting the extra billion dollars on top
- 27:14Speaker 8: of these teams.
- 27:17Speaker 4: Team one more time before you let you go, tell
- 27:18Speaker 4: me about the Ones Basketball League and where it's at
- 27:20Speaker 4: right now.
- 27:22Speaker 8: Yeah. So we're starting May fifteenth in Orlando, Florida, and
- 27:27Speaker 8: I have I created eight cities, you know, with respective
- 27:32Speaker 8: influencers that are team owners because I wanted I want
- 27:36Speaker 8: people that look like me to have ownership in sports franchises,
- 27:39Speaker 8: and that's why I created the Battle of the City.
- 27:42Speaker 8: So you have Jada Kiss in New York. You have
- 27:44Speaker 8: Lorenz Tate owns the Chicago team, John Wall owns the
- 27:49Speaker 8: Raleigh team. Tim Hardaway Senior, I gave him the Miami team.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Of course, my cousin Vince Carter has the the Orlando team,
- 27:57Speaker 8: and Quinn Cook with the DC team. So I rounded
- 28:00Speaker 8: these guys up. Man. I appreciate them being a part
- 28:02Speaker 8: of this and believe in him. You know my vision,
- 28:07Speaker 8: and I'm looking forward to see how we build this
- 28:10Speaker 8: league up. Thanks going to be something fun. This is
- 28:12Speaker 8: all family.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Got teams in Atlanta and Baltimore as well. T Mac.
- 28:16Speaker 4: Good luck with everything. It's sounds like a great league,
- 28:18Speaker 4: a great bunch of events that you have going on.
- 28:21Speaker 4: And thanks so much for taking the time.
- 28:22Speaker 8: For us, guy, Thank you, appreciate you.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Be sure to catch live editions of Stu Godson Company

- 29:11Speaker 8: Busy.
- 29:12Speaker 9: Yeah, we got Miami, Ohio and Miami Florida on the
- 29:15Speaker 9: same tournament. You know what that means?
- 29:18Speaker 3: We don't have one? Or is it a couple of
- 29:20Speaker 3: Miami's cutting it up? It could be either.
- 29:22Speaker 10: There you go, a couple of Miami's cutting it up.
- 29:25Speaker 3: Come the second round that we won't have one.
- 29:27Speaker 8: Yeah, that's true.

- 29:31Speaker 1: I mean seriously, it is against s m Uhad.

- 31:00Speaker 9: Higgins, so many teas.
- 31:05Speaker 3: Thank you for the call.
- 31:06Speaker 8: Maddie.

- 31:09Speaker 4: Set yourself up for that one too, Maddie. And the
- 31:12Speaker 4: Natty is a profession.
- 31:13Speaker 3: Yeah, no, thank you you forgot to finish the word.
- 31:17Speaker 4: I was trying to make it rhyme and it just couldn't.
- 31:19Speaker 4: Profession Naddy didn't really work.
- 31:20Speaker 1: Yeah, eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. That is
- 31:23Speaker 1: eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. Tracy McGrady get
- 31:27Speaker 1: to join us in about a half hour. Really, yes,
- 31:29Speaker 1: you didn't know that news to you?
- 31:32Speaker 8: Huhuh.
- 31:33Speaker 1: One of your favorite players I know, love that guy.
- 31:36Speaker 1: Taylor wants to play a game of Is it just Me?
- 31:39Speaker 11: Or?
- 31:41Speaker 3: I want to play a different game. We'll play that.
- 31:43Speaker 1: We'll debut that in hour number two. But Taylor wants
- 31:47Speaker 1: to play a game is it just me? Or Iowa Sam,
- 31:50Speaker 1: Irish Sam. That means you need to have one. You
- 31:52Speaker 1: need to have one. Everyone needs to have one. Let's
- 31:55Speaker 1: start it off though, with tell.
- 31:58Speaker 5: Is it just me? Could you do without the first
- 32:01Speaker 5: four games?
- 32:04Speaker 3: Taylor? Taylor? I love basketball? You know this?
- 32:09Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 32:09Speaker 3: Never ever have I seen a minute of a first
- 32:13Speaker 3: four game.
- 32:14Speaker 4: In fact, I believe all of my brackets in history
- 32:17Speaker 4: have been filled out before the first four games were
- 32:20Speaker 4: ever played.
- 32:21Speaker 3: It's just that whoever wins that game, they're gonna lose anyway.
- 32:23Speaker 5: And both the games were unbelievable. Yesterday you had the
- 32:26Speaker 5: Texas NC State game where Tremont Mark hit a buzzer
- 32:29Speaker 5: beater in the first game.
- 32:30Speaker 3: Yep, March madness, Taylor, Yeah, Mark madness. Is that what
- 32:36Speaker 3: you told me to say?
- 32:37Speaker 12: Ye?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Say it, Louder, I'm going to have.
- 32:42Speaker 4: How did the Texas assistant coach not get a technical
- 32:45Speaker 4: foul on the play?
- 32:46Speaker 5: So Stu Treymon Mark hits a buzzer beater. Yeah, but
- 32:50Speaker 5: there's still one second left on the class, so it's
- 32:52Speaker 5: not technically a buzzer beater, I guess. But the second
- 32:55Speaker 5: he hits it, a Texas coach sprints onto the court
- 32:58Speaker 5: and everybody's looking around like they should probably get teed up.
- 33:01Speaker 5: But NC State took a time out before anything could
- 33:04Speaker 5: actually happen. Right, we gotta star team up coaches who
- 33:06Speaker 5: run onto the court. Yeah, right, Mark Magnus.
- 33:10Speaker 3: It was.
- 33:11Speaker 4: He ran out basically almost high five the player who
- 33:15Speaker 4: hit the shot on the other side of the court,
- 33:17Speaker 4: and the Texas coach nearly choked him if he If
- 33:21Speaker 4: this would have been a no crowd situation, yes, you
- 33:24Speaker 4: would have seen two hands around that assistant coach's neck.
- 33:27Speaker 1: It sounds like an exciting first four for guys who
- 33:30Speaker 1: don't want.
- 33:30Speaker 3: The four games game. Just give me the highlight. I'm good,
- 33:35Speaker 3: all right? Uh? Does bordop Ricardo have a have a nominee?
- 33:40Speaker 11: Here?
- 33:40Speaker 8: He does?
- 33:40Speaker 3: Oh, this is very exciting. Go ahead, everyone has one. Look,
- 33:43Speaker 3: everyone wants to play the game. Go ahead, bardop Ricardo.
- 33:46Speaker 12: Is it just me or did we all feel a
- 33:48Speaker 12: little Venezuelan last night?
- 33:51Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well you would have to be watching the game.
- 33:54Speaker 4: This is this is the text that I got from
- 33:56Speaker 4: Taylor last night.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it was hang on.
- 33:59Speaker 4: I want to get it word for word because it
- 34:01Speaker 4: happened right after Bryce Harper hit what was at the
- 34:05Speaker 4: time a two run game tying home run. Yes, and
- 34:10Speaker 4: Taylor just text what a moment from Harper? Are you watching?
- 34:13Speaker 4: And this was about nine pm and I didn't have
- 34:16Speaker 4: the nerve to respond and say no, you're alone on this,
- 34:19Speaker 4: so I just waited until this morning.
- 34:21Speaker 1: So that game was too two headed into the ninth.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Then Venezuela went up three to two. When I'm happy
- 34:26Speaker 1: for them because they really wanted to win that thing.
- 34:28Speaker 1: They have meant a lot to those players and their
- 34:31Speaker 1: fans and that country. But Taylor, who refuses to root
- 34:34Speaker 1: for Roman Anthony because he's a Yankee fan. That was
- 34:37Speaker 1: the guy at the plate last night, the final guy
- 34:40Speaker 1: at the plate with a chance to tie it up
- 34:41Speaker 1: for Team USA.
- 34:43Speaker 4: Taylor a feeling Venezuelan. At a moment, Taylor put us there,
- 34:47Speaker 4: what were you doing to poor Roman Anthony?
- 34:50Speaker 5: So is you know the Hispanic crowds when there's two strikes,
- 34:53Speaker 5: they chant paunch, which means strikeout.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Yep.
- 34:58Speaker 5: So when Roman Anthony came up there with two, I
- 35:00Speaker 5: was like, you know what, here's my Venezuelan cat pounche paunch.
- 35:06Speaker 3: That's too funny, so good.
- 35:08Speaker 6: Figger Guns Hippolis from the from from Media Radio Row
- 35:12Speaker 6: and Angry Baseball Tailor are two of my favorite favorite tailors.
- 35:16Speaker 4: Fake Hispanic Baseball Tailor is right up there with the
- 35:18Speaker 4: finger Guns, Super Bowl Week tailor.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Yeah, the tailors. I always want him to be I mean,
- 35:22Speaker 3: just no stop to be fair though I did.
- 35:26Speaker 4: After I saw that text, which was about twenty minutes
- 35:28Speaker 4: after he sent it, I looked at the score and
- 35:31Speaker 4: it was like, this says Venezuela three United States two?
- 35:34Speaker 3: What the heck is he talking about?
- 35:35Speaker 4: And then I went back and looked and I was like,
- 35:37Speaker 4: oh yeah, that moment didn't last very long. It was
- 35:39Speaker 4: like it was a five minute window for me to
- 35:41Speaker 4: be able to respond to that text.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Bryce Harpor had a moment, a moment.
- 35:44Speaker 1: If they win that game, it's a moment we remember
- 35:46Speaker 1: for the remainder of time.
- 35:48Speaker 3: But they lost the game, and no one's gonna remember
- 35:50Speaker 3: that time. Huh. I was looking at a graphic. Yes,
- 35:53Speaker 3: showed all the US results in the w in the.
- 35:55Speaker 4: WBC, and I had no idea. I had no idea
- 35:58Speaker 4: what they had done. And you have told me that
- 36:00Speaker 4: they won them all or they hadn't won any I
- 36:02Speaker 4: would have believed you.
- 36:03Speaker 3: All right, let's go to Mikeya here for is it
- 36:05Speaker 3: just me? Or is it just me?
- 36:09Speaker 6: Or are the Miami Dolphins putting on a master class
- 36:12Speaker 6: and tank it? Because not only are they set up
- 36:15Speaker 6: to be in the top of the draft with some
- 36:17Speaker 6: of the best quarterbacks ever, but even if they should
- 36:20Speaker 6: possibly win a few games, they have Malik Willis, who's
- 36:23Speaker 6: probably going to be the reason they win a few games,
- 36:26Speaker 6: and then they could build around him. This is a
- 36:28Speaker 6: master class on how to be bad.
- 36:30Speaker 3: I will see Mikey. I like the take.
- 36:33Speaker 4: I just don't think they've taken it far enough for
- 36:36Speaker 4: it to be a master class. And this is why, Okay,
- 36:39Speaker 4: Duvon no business being on this team. And they're talking
- 36:44Speaker 4: about I saw reports that said they're not interested in
- 36:46Speaker 4: trading him.
- 36:47Speaker 3: He's off limits.
- 36:48Speaker 4: If I'm Devon han mikey, I am demanding a trade
- 36:51Speaker 4: immediately because you're about to waste one of my prime
- 36:56Speaker 4: years on a dump season, on a we're not trying
- 36:59Speaker 4: to win. See, and I know you're gonna give me
- 37:01Speaker 4: that ball forty times. I don't want to get me
- 37:04Speaker 4: out of here.
- 37:04Speaker 3: You have to give for that go ahead, Mike, you said.
- 37:09Speaker 6: Wait for that week four hamstring injury that keeps it
- 37:11Speaker 6: out the rest.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, we'll see what happens, but you have
- 37:14Speaker 1: to leave someone there from Alik Willis, don't you hear you?
- 37:17Speaker 3: Yes, I'm about an offensive line.
- 37:20Speaker 5: So John Eric Sullivan's whole thing is he's supposed to
- 37:23Speaker 5: be good at identifying talent. And with the amount of
- 37:26Speaker 5: picks that the Dolphins have coming up in this draft, yeah,
- 37:28Speaker 5: and Malik Willis and Devon eh Chan, is it just
- 37:31Speaker 5: me or can you kind of talk yourself?
- 37:32Speaker 3: You can't get it. You can't get a second isn't
- 37:34Speaker 3: just me out of the blue. Now I have them.
- 37:38Speaker 4: You can't not gonna be a bunch of twenty two
- 37:41Speaker 4: year olds just running it in the NFC and AFC's
- 37:43Speaker 4: not happening.
- 37:44Speaker 1: Let's go to uh, let's go to Irish Sam here.
- 37:47Speaker 1: I hope he delivers this in an Irish accent.
- 37:49Speaker 3: Go hungover, Irish.
- 37:52Speaker 13: No no blues for me last night? I swear, I
- 37:54Speaker 13: swears upon it.
- 37:56Speaker 9: Uh.
- 37:56Speaker 5: But uh.
- 37:57Speaker 13: Watching the NCAA tournament games, is it just me? Or
- 38:01Speaker 13: was the pairing of legendary Charles Barkley and Dick Vital
- 38:04Speaker 13: a little underwhelming.
- 38:06Speaker 3: As a pair? As a duel? I have an example.
- 38:08Speaker 13: I was just left. I was just left wanting more.
- 38:10Speaker 13: A lot of babbling amongst each other about the game,
- 38:13Speaker 13: and then the poor man doing the play by play,
- 38:15Speaker 13: he was just yelling over them and he was losing
- 38:17Speaker 13: his voice. So I was a little bit underwhelmed. If
- 38:19Speaker 13: anybody watched the Texas North Carolina state game, I did.
- 38:22Speaker 5: I did.
- 38:23Speaker 4: Can you can you play me some sound of that?
- 38:25Speaker 4: Is there an example of this horrible connection between.
- 38:29Speaker 3: Do I have that sound? This is this is the same,
- 38:33Speaker 3: this is the same.
- 38:33Speaker 4: We need we have to put him in very tight
- 38:36Speaker 4: spaces and put the pressure on him.
- 38:38Speaker 3: I see how he responds.
- 38:40Speaker 13: Multitask of our guys, mister Anderson, Chuck and Vitally Batali,
- 38:46Speaker 13: and like I.
- 38:47Speaker 7: Say, it's just not fair and they don't have to
- 38:49Speaker 7: do something because you got all these middle men who
- 38:52Speaker 7: are scumbags. You got agent who a scumbags who don't
- 38:55Speaker 7: care about Lorty to a school.
- 38:57Speaker 3: That's what bothers me. Defense of the n c a A.
- 39:01Speaker 3: They wouldn't.
- 39:02Speaker 7: Let's tell the fannil let's hope the fan went the
- 39:05Speaker 7: whole problem started.
- 39:06Speaker 3: They would love to do everything. You guys are suggesting
- 39:09Speaker 3: they're gonna need congressional health. There is no we don't
- 39:11Speaker 3: need help.
- 39:11Speaker 7: There find no way that the NCAA could do this
- 39:14Speaker 7: on their own because every lawsuit that comes down, they lose.
- 39:18Speaker 7: If you you make the rules up at your house,
- 39:22Speaker 7: you make the rules. I've heard that argument, but you married.
- 39:28Speaker 12: Rooms up this.
- 39:30Speaker 13: I don't know where Dick.
- 39:32Speaker 3: We don't want to deal with the business.
- 39:33Speaker 8: Move on to you go somewhere else.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Guys, we got a game going on that I don't know.
- 39:42Speaker 3: Sud screamed diaper Dandy for no reason. He's I don't
- 39:45Speaker 3: want to talk about congred.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Let's he's up on Dicky V's voice. Okay, he's been
- 39:49Speaker 1: through health issues.
- 39:51Speaker 8: Okay.
- 39:51Speaker 13: The three of them are just a little discombobulated. Though,
- 39:54Speaker 13: just a little discombobulated. I just didn't feel the chemistry
- 39:56Speaker 13: between the three of them, Thank you very much.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Now, I'm gonna need you to work on the Scottish
- 40:00Speaker 3: accidental very distinct. I can't confuse them.
- 40:03Speaker 1: Okay, how could you feel the chemistry? They were all
- 40:05Speaker 1: talking at the exact same time, and poor mister Anderson's
- 40:08Speaker 1: voice just giving out. He was just shouting over everybody.
- 40:10Speaker 1: I told bad for him, all right, you.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Every time. That's how you have to sign off. Let's
- 40:22Speaker 3: go to executive producer Jason. Go ahead, Jason, guys, is
- 40:26Speaker 3: it just me.
- 40:27Speaker 12: Or is Aaron Judge's most memorable thing on a big
- 40:31Speaker 12: stage him dropping the ball in center field in the
- 40:34Speaker 12: fifth end of the World Series. I was like, Game five, Taylor,
- 40:37Speaker 12: is that his most memorable postseason accomplishment?
- 40:41Speaker 3: Not just you?
- 40:42Speaker 5: So for you, it might be for me. It was
- 40:45Speaker 5: that home run that he hit against uh Key. Was
- 40:48Speaker 5: it against the Blue Jays or the one I deemed
- 40:50Speaker 5: a legacy at bat.
- 40:51Speaker 3: Right, and they lost the next three games.
- 40:54Speaker 5: It's tough to have a legacy at BA.
- 40:55Speaker 3: Remember when it was right? Some legacy at bat Yes, perfect, terrible.
- 41:03Speaker 3: I think Jason's point was just proven. Yes, exactly?
- 41:07Speaker 1: Does update anchor? I have one back there? Or is
- 41:10Speaker 1: he not playing the game today?
- 41:11Speaker 5: I have two?
- 41:12Speaker 3: Oh wow, you better choose your best one. Well the
- 41:16Speaker 3: first one.
- 41:17Speaker 14: The first one is very quick and it just came
- 41:19Speaker 14: to me.
- 41:19Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 41:20Speaker 14: Or is Irish Sam a more appealing personality than Iowa Sam?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Oh?
- 41:27Speaker 13: Yes, yes, Capron, not Isaac. I'll break up whiskey bottle
- 41:31Speaker 13: over your head like I did Dan Byer.
- 41:33Speaker 3: Okay, I take it back, all right? Is it just me?
- 41:36Speaker 7: Oh?
- 41:36Speaker 13: Wait, no, you're a complimenting Irish Sam. I'm sorry, Yes,
- 41:39Speaker 13: I was. Iowsh Sam doesn't care, He's fine.
- 41:41Speaker 3: Yes, I look forward.
- 41:42Speaker 14: To Irish Sam breaking down the Irish Hurling Championships coming
- 41:46Speaker 14: up a little later on this.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Butch all right?
- 41:48Speaker 5: Is it just me?
- 41:49Speaker 4: Or?
- 41:49Speaker 14: Was it surprisingly cheap of the Baltimore Ravens that when
- 41:52Speaker 14: they initially flew Max Crosby in before backing out of
- 41:56Speaker 14: the trade, they had them fly commercially into Washington d
- 41:59Speaker 14: c and then driven two more hours to Baltimore instead
- 42:02Speaker 14: of either flying him directly to Baltimore, either privately or commercially.
- 42:07Speaker 14: The Ravens, I didn't think had a reputation for being
- 42:10Speaker 14: kind of, you know, cheap and not major league.
- 42:12Speaker 3: I'm gonna take this another step further.
- 42:14Speaker 4: I'm going to go ahead and claim that's why his
- 42:16Speaker 4: knee was injured and he failed the physical.
- 42:17Speaker 3: It was the long bus ride, you keep on the
- 42:20Speaker 3: long car ride trying to hurt him. Yes, absolutely got
- 42:23Speaker 3: to keep those knee stretched.
- 42:25Speaker 14: Out, middle seat on frontier, gotcha, Yeah.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Yes, uh huh yeah.
- 42:29Speaker 1: Mine is Max Crosby related as well. In fact, Irish
- 42:32Speaker 1: Sam and I think it's the second week in a row.
- 42:34Speaker 3: I'm going with, uh, is it just me here? It
- 42:36Speaker 3: was this dude's take last year.
- 42:38Speaker 1: Have the sound ready of Max Crosby who started a
- 42:42Speaker 1: podcast because why it's a good time for Max Crosby
- 42:45Speaker 1: to start a podcast to tell his story?
- 42:46Speaker 5: Yes daylen No, I was just saying, Ricardo, you're going
- 42:49Speaker 5: to be playing the soundnocke.
- 42:50Speaker 1: Okay, Ricardo, get the sound ready here because is it
- 42:54Speaker 1: just me? Or Eric Tacosta who said he was gutted
- 42:58Speaker 1: because Max Crosby did not pass his physical.
- 43:01Speaker 3: Is it just me? Was he gutted or is he gutless.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Let's play the sound a different game of Max Crosby
- 43:08Speaker 1: taking us through that experience visiting the Baltimore Ravens for
- 43:11Speaker 1: his physical.
- 43:13Speaker 11: Like before I left, I wanted to see the head coach,
- 43:15Speaker 11: just chop it up, talk football, talk ball like he's
- 43:17Speaker 11: a defensive guy. Never met him before like that, so
- 43:20Speaker 11: I wanted to chop it up. So I didn't get
- 43:22Speaker 11: to meet with him. To the end of the day,
- 43:23Speaker 11: I didn't get to see the GM at all. I
- 43:25Speaker 11: thought I was going to see him when I first
- 43:27Speaker 11: got there. I didn't see him for five hours. And
- 43:29Speaker 11: I don't know why. I'm not gonna speculate. At the end,
- 43:32Speaker 11: they're like, yeah, i'll take you up. Joe's like, I'll
- 43:34Speaker 11: take you up and you go see the head coach
- 43:35Speaker 11: whatever just before you leave.
- 43:36Speaker 3: I went back up.
- 43:37Speaker 11: I dap him up and they can just tell, like
- 43:39Speaker 11: the energy was a little bit off and the GM
- 43:41Speaker 11: was standing in like the hall, like in the room
- 43:43Speaker 11: next to me to the right, and that was the
- 43:44Speaker 11: first time I seen him. And you know, I'm just
- 43:47Speaker 11: in my head, like I'm just this a whirlwind, like
- 43:48Speaker 11: I'm so excited, like fired up, you know what I mean,
- 43:50Speaker 11: Like this is new opportunity whatever. And you can just
- 43:53Speaker 11: tell the energy was off, Like I dapped him up.
- 43:54Speaker 11: He had like a plank face, and I'm like, okay,
- 43:58Speaker 11: I'm not thinking anything of it. Maybe it's just different.
- 44:00Speaker 11: I don't know, I don't know him whatever. I go
- 44:03Speaker 11: into the room. They sent me down on the couch
- 44:05Speaker 11: and he's like, man, I don't know how to say this,
- 44:06Speaker 11: but you know, one of our doctors has concerns with
- 44:09Speaker 11: the results and whatever, and like with your knee, like
- 44:12Speaker 11: some of them have, you know, are concerned about the
- 44:14Speaker 11: future and da da da da da, And you know,
- 44:17Speaker 11: we really want you and this is what it is.
- 44:19Speaker 11: But you know, we're just gonna have to get more
- 44:21Speaker 11: and more opinions.
- 44:23Speaker 4: It's terrible, man, I mean, that's clearly a couple of
- 44:26Speaker 4: people who already knew that they weren't going to keep
- 44:28Speaker 4: him in this trade.
- 44:29Speaker 3: They were on the phone with Trey Hendrickson.
- 44:32Speaker 5: Is it just mirrored? Do you guys feel a bit betrayed?
- 44:34Speaker 5: Stu reheated and is.
- 44:35Speaker 3: It just me?
- 44:36Speaker 1: I mean we have sound now, I mean you have
- 44:38Speaker 1: a man walking you through one of the most difficult times.
- 44:41Speaker 5: I'm just checking with the group.
- 44:42Speaker 1: I mean, he went to get a physical, he took
- 44:44Speaker 1: a boss, he took a bicycle, he took every mode
- 44:46Speaker 1: of transportation to get himself to Baltimore, only to be
- 44:50Speaker 1: only to never meet with the GM, never meet with
- 44:54Speaker 1: the head coach.
- 44:54Speaker 3: He's there for five hours and they send them back
- 44:56Speaker 3: to Las Vegas. Terrible.
- 44:59Speaker 6: Hey, guys, I think we have a chance at getting
- 45:02Speaker 6: another player, and we don't have to sign Max Crosby,
- 45:05Speaker 6: but we need to buy time.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Do me a favor.
- 45:07Speaker 5: Fly him into Washington and then let him take a
- 45:10Speaker 5: car up here to bias the time so that we
- 45:12Speaker 5: can sign someone else.
- 45:14Speaker 10: All right?
- 45:15Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 45:15Speaker 6: Or?
- 45:16Speaker 4: Who has everybody who's ever touched a microphone got to
- 45:18Speaker 4: get off there?
- 45:19Speaker 3: Is it just me? Before me? I have been left
- 45:21Speaker 3: no time to do this. Therefore I will change my
- 45:24Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 45:25Speaker 8: To this?
- 45:26Speaker 3: Is it just me?
- 45:27Speaker 12: Or?
- 45:27Speaker 3: Does Max Crosby sound like somebody who says this, that
- 45:29Speaker 3: and the third a lot?
- 45:30Speaker 4: Because I wouldn't trust him. I think he does say
- 45:33Speaker 4: that that wasn't even my?
- 45:34Speaker 8: Is it just me?
- 45:35Speaker 1: But you know that's what I'm left with. I apologize.
- 45:37Speaker 1: I forgot to go to you.
- 45:41Speaker 4: Do We have Scottish mic in somewhere on a microphone
- 45:44Speaker 4: that wants to talk to us.
- 45:45Speaker 3: You have every right to be about.
- 45:46Speaker 4: English, Eric, anybody, no, just Irish Sam Okay, time for that.
- 45:53Speaker 3: Not to the door. I am gutted. They're my guts.
