- 0:30Speaker 2: Let me ask you this, So let's get into some
- 0:32Speaker 2: mea and potatoes technical analysis. Right, you talk about technical analysis.
- 0:37Speaker 2: What are some of your favorite indicators and what is
- 0:40Speaker 2: your overall thoughts on technical analysiscause a lot of time
- 0:43Speaker 2: people say that technical analysis is overrated or some people
- 0:46Speaker 2: only use technical analysis. So what's your thoughts on technical
- 0:48Speaker 2: analysis and how do you use technical analysis?
- 0:50Speaker 3: Okay, so at this point I need to call on
- 0:52Speaker 3: my partner, David Green. So I'm the motivator and the
- 0:56Speaker 3: motive moderator and motivator in chief. David Green, I met
- 1:00Speaker 3: here in nineteen eighty five. Who's my mentor my friend?
- 1:03Speaker 3: My teacher is a master technical analyst, he's my partner
- 1:06Speaker 3: in Wall Street Goldber Trading Academy. He's taught tens of
- 1:09Speaker 3: thousands of people over the years. He runs a live
- 1:11Speaker 3: chat room called the Green Room Live. He he's the analyst.
- 1:15Speaker 3: He's taught me everything. So I'm not a technical analyst.
- 1:18Speaker 3: He is, and he's my teacher. He's my go to
- 1:21Speaker 3: and so a lot of look, we didn't invent it,
- 1:24Speaker 3: a lot of people use it, some people like it,
- 1:26Speaker 3: some people don't. Some people fill their screens, you know,
- 1:29Speaker 3: with so many different signals that it looks like Eric
- 1:32Speaker 3: Traffick control on nine to eleven, right, and that's not
- 1:35Speaker 3: going to help anybody out. So and people ask us,
- 1:38Speaker 3: why does David use what he uses?
- 1:39Speaker 4: Because it works? Okay, that's what you want to know.
- 1:41Speaker 3: You want to go to someone who's doing it successfully
- 1:44Speaker 3: and say, I want to do what you're doing.
- 1:46Speaker 4: How do you teach me how to do it? What
- 1:48Speaker 4: do I do?
- 1:48Speaker 3: So what we do is we use the emas the
- 1:52Speaker 3: exponential moving averages.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Everyone uses different ones.
- 1:56Speaker 3: We use the nine, the fifteen, the thirty, the sixty five,
- 1:59Speaker 3: and the two. The two hundred is the wall of
- 2:01Speaker 3: China right. The farther away you use a moving average.
- 2:04Speaker 3: The stronger the indicator is that the stock is going
- 2:07Speaker 3: to stop going down and start going up, or stop
- 2:10Speaker 3: going up and go down.
- 2:12Speaker 4: We use what's called pivot points.
- 2:14Speaker 3: I don't need to go into the explanation if you
- 2:16Speaker 3: use think or swim or any of the other platforms.
- 2:18Speaker 3: A pivot point is a is a formula. It's a
- 2:21Speaker 3: formula that's figured out. It's way beyond me. I know,
- 2:24Speaker 3: I look like Einstein. I'm not that freaking smart, okay.
- 2:27Speaker 3: And then we use the RSI, which is a relative
- 2:29Speaker 3: strength index that signifies overbought or over sold conditions. Then
- 2:35Speaker 3: we teach about five particular trades in the end that
- 2:38Speaker 3: we use for technical analysis. So there's a trend trade. Sorry,
- 2:42Speaker 3: there's a trend trade. What's a trend trade? The trend
- 2:45Speaker 3: is your friend. It's an old Wall Street adage. It's
- 2:47Speaker 3: when a stock is going up like this. But that's
- 2:49Speaker 3: not enough of a reason to get into a trend,
- 2:52Speaker 3: A trend a trend trade.
- 2:54Speaker 4: There are rules for each of these trades.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Trend trade, moving average trade, far from moving average trade,
- 3:00Speaker 3: double top, double bottom, and a swing trade.
- 3:03Speaker 4: Those are the we want to keep it simple. That's
- 3:04Speaker 4: all you need This isn't hard. It's it's hard, but
- 3:07Speaker 4: it's simple, simple, yeah, and difficult. It's to do it correctly. Everything,
- 3:12Speaker 4: it's everything. Okay.
- 3:13Speaker 3: So those are the five trades, and each trade has
- 3:16Speaker 3: a criteria that is necessary to be fulfilled to get
- 3:19Speaker 3: into the trade. As I said, hope and for more
- 3:22Speaker 3: or not reasons to get into a trade. Uncle Herbie
- 3:26Speaker 3: telling you to buy it is not an excuse. Watching
- 3:29Speaker 3: Wall Street bets and Reddit that trains left the station.
- 3:31Speaker 3: There are a million of pump and dumpers out there.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Jordan Baalford used to work right out of this place.
- 3:35Speaker 3: Still a criminal, always a criminal. Tell him to call
- 3:38Speaker 3: me if he's got a problem with that.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Okay. All the smoke, all the smoke.
- 3:43Speaker 3: He hasn't even paid back. He paid back thirty million
- 3:46Speaker 3: to three hundred million. He stole anyway, end of that story.
- 3:50Speaker 3: Everyone's in everyone's entitled to a second chance. Pay your
- 3:52Speaker 3: money back. You can talk to me anyway.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Okay. So those are the trades.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Now, it's super important that each trade so you can
- 4:01Speaker 3: have one criteria fulfilled.
- 4:02Speaker 4: The market.
- 4:03Speaker 3: The dynamics of the market are fascinating. This market goes
- 4:06Speaker 3: up and down a thousand points. We can be in
- 4:08Speaker 3: a bear market used to be generational. It took twenty
- 4:10Speaker 3: five years, yeah for a bull or a bear market.
- 4:12Speaker 3: Last two weeks ago, at eleven in the morning, we
- 4:15Speaker 3: were in bear market and at three in the afternoon
- 4:17Speaker 3: we were in a bull market. Right, Okay, well that's insane.
- 4:21Speaker 3: The terminology must be reevaluated.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Right.
- 4:23Speaker 3: You can't have a market that's down eighteen hundred points
- 4:26Speaker 3: at noon up a thousand points at four and think
- 4:28Speaker 3: you can use terminology that was used in the thirties
- 4:31Speaker 3: and five.
- 4:32Speaker 5: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.

- 6:52Speaker 4: Thirty quarrantin limitation supply forty's.
- 6:55Speaker 3: That's why I keep saying I got the no recession
- 6:57Speaker 3: special going on because the components of a recession and
- 7:00Speaker 3: involve the labor force massive layoffs.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Right.
- 7:03Speaker 3: I know that media loves the pump stories to get
- 7:05Speaker 3: people all wrapped up and stuffed. I'm a cup half
- 7:08Speaker 3: full person. I want to empower people to be confident,
- 7:11Speaker 3: not scare the shit out of people. Okay, so those
- 7:13Speaker 3: are the technical analysis trades. There are criteria for each
- 7:16Speaker 3: one of those trades, right, So a trend trade, just
- 7:19Speaker 3: for an example, if you need to understand more. We
- 7:21Speaker 3: can go we can go into depth. The course is
- 7:23Speaker 3: really fun, it's accessible, it's twenty one videos, nine hours.
- 7:27Speaker 3: It teaches you everything you don't need. You can know
- 7:30Speaker 3: nothing from a stock to a stock to a stock.
- 7:32Speaker 3: You can learn how to trade the market, but you
- 7:34Speaker 3: need to follow the rules. You have to realize the
- 7:36Speaker 3: psychology of trading is devastating. Right, You're always thinking, you
- 7:39Speaker 3: got diamond hands. It's got to go up. It can't
- 7:41Speaker 3: go down anymore. I mean the things that the mistakes
- 7:43Speaker 3: people make are all the same.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Okay.
- 7:45Speaker 3: A trend trade fascinating trade. So you think, oh, it's
- 7:48Speaker 3: going up. It's oh, I got to just buy it
- 7:50Speaker 3: because it's going up, not necessarily, because the stock can
- 7:52Speaker 3: turn and go down just as quick as it goes up.
- 7:55Speaker 4: A trend trade.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Definition of a trend trade is when a stock is
- 7:58Speaker 3: going up and it pulls back to the nine of
- 8:01Speaker 3: the fifteen.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Am A.
- 8:02Speaker 3: You're a technician, so it's got to pull back to
- 8:05Speaker 3: a level of support, goes to the nine of the fifteen.
- 8:09Speaker 3: You buy it, and it's going to continue to go up,
- 8:11Speaker 3: and you stay in that trade until the trend breaks.
- 8:14Speaker 3: You use stop orders every time you get into a trade. Okay,
- 8:17Speaker 3: A moving average trade is another kind of a trade.
- 8:20Speaker 3: A swing far from moving average trade is when a
- 8:22Speaker 3: stock's gone is a two dollars from the last moving average,
- 8:26Speaker 3: it's gone up three days in a row, and it
- 8:28Speaker 3: has an RSI of twenty or eighty.
- 8:30Speaker 4: All three criteria must be reached.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Okay, if not, it just if it's up three days
- 8:34Speaker 3: in a row, that doesn't mean there's a trade because
- 8:36Speaker 3: the RSI has to.
- 8:37Speaker 4: Be above eighty or below twenty.
- 8:39Speaker 3: It can go up another three days without the rs
- 8:41Speaker 3: science you started selling it there on a reversal swing trade,
- 8:45Speaker 3: and you're going to be nine dollars out of the
- 8:47Speaker 3: money before.
- 8:47Speaker 4: You get into the trade.
- 8:48Speaker 3: So that's just an example of technical analysis. Is the
- 8:51Speaker 3: history of charting to try and identify the way stocks
- 8:54Speaker 3: have mood historically, all the more important in a market
- 8:57Speaker 3: where a stock can go up.
- 8:58Speaker 4: Look at what we see here these days.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Earnings come out, Earnings were great. Stuff goes down fifty dollars,
- 9:05Speaker 3: Earnings were good, God was good. It goes down fifty dollars, right,
- 9:08Speaker 3: it goes up twenty and down fifty. I mean that
- 9:11Speaker 3: risk portfolio, that volatility you know, I don't know. Most
- 9:15Speaker 3: people's risk profile is not a fifty dollars move in
- 9:19Speaker 3: a stock. So you need to understand that in a
- 9:21Speaker 3: market that goes up and down thousands of points, risk management,
- 9:24Speaker 3: money management, order management, everyone can get into a stock.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Everybody hit a buy order. It's a matter of what
- 9:32Speaker 3: you do once you're in the buy order. You get
- 9:34Speaker 3: into a buy order or a short order. You put
- 9:36Speaker 3: in a stop order, down or up one percent the
- 9:40Speaker 3: minute you make fifty cents on that trade. And I
- 9:42Speaker 3: know people think, oh, I want to buy, I want
- 9:44Speaker 3: to make a dollar, I want to make five dollars.
- 9:46Speaker 4: It's greed will kill you. I know. Gordon Geko said
- 9:49Speaker 4: greed is good in this market. Greed will kill you.
- 9:53Speaker 3: So you have to understand the psychology super important. There's
- 9:57Speaker 3: nobody in that trading room telling you what to do.
- 9:59Speaker 3: So what we teach the psychology of trading is the
- 10:02Speaker 3: most important part of day trading to be successful because
- 10:07Speaker 3: we are all the same.
- 10:08Speaker 4: I make the same mistake.
- 10:09Speaker 3: All look at that. I'm a freaking genius. I got
- 10:11Speaker 3: diamond hands. It can't go down. Ah right, You buy
- 10:13Speaker 3: a stock or your shortest stock. Because technical analysis told
- 10:18Speaker 3: you to do it. There's only one reason to buy
- 10:20Speaker 3: a stock price action and technical analysis told you to
- 10:22Speaker 3: do it right. It isn't because any of the reasons.
- 10:25Speaker 3: There are nine reasons you know, there are a thousand
- 10:27Speaker 3: reasons not right. There are thousands mistake. There's nine reasons
- 10:30Speaker 3: why you shouldn't or buy it or shorted. One reason
- 10:32Speaker 3: too because it sets up technically.
- 10:36Speaker 2: My graduates from my school being forced bad drop bags
- 10:41Speaker 2: drop Mike, drop bag, drop drops.
- 10:55Speaker 7: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 10:59Speaker 7: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 11:03Speaker 7: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 11:07Speaker 7: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 11:11Speaker 7: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 11:15Speaker 7: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy nom the United States
- 11:18Speaker 7: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 11:23Speaker 7: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 11:27Speaker 7: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 11:30Speaker 7: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 11:34Speaker 7: one thousand dollars a day. Imprisoned and deported you will
- 11:38Speaker 7: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 11:42Speaker 7: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 11:45Speaker 7: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump America's laws,
- 11:50Speaker 7: border and families will be protected.
- 11:53Speaker 5: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
