- 0:03This is Living Waters of Grace, the teaching ministry of Clark
- 0:08Wofford, senior pastor of Calvary Chapel of Westmoreland,
- 0:12County of Greensburg, PA. Now here's Pastor Clark as he
- 0:16continues teaching through God's Word.
- 0:37The nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time of
- 0:40the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should
- 0:44reward your servants, the prophets and the Saints, and
- 0:46those who fear your name small and great, and should destroy
- 0:50those who destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was open
- 0:54in heaven, and the ark of His covenant was seen in His temple,
- 0:58and there was lightning noises, thunderings and earthquakes and
- 1:03great hail. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
- 1:06Amen. In our culture today, sin is
- 1:09celebrated as if it's no big deal.
- 1:12Those who follow God openly are mocked for doing so.
- 1:15It's much like Noah, who is mocked for building the ark when
- 1:18there had been no rain and no ocean before.
- 1:22Yet his faith in God did not disappoint.
- 1:24In today's message, Pastor Clark encourages you not to lose heart
- 1:29as you trust in God, even when the world looks at you as if
- 1:32you're out of your mind. God will do as He has said in
- 1:35His Word, and judgment will one day come upon the world for sin.
- 1:39Now here's Pastor Clark in Revelation Chapter 15 with
- 1:43today's edition of Living Waters of Grace.
- 1:46We're to be lovingly and humbly aggressive about righteousness
- 1:53in this land. Verse 2, it talks about those
- 1:57who had the victory over the beast.
- 1:58And this is again the the tribulation martyrs and they
- 2:01were also described in Revelation Chapter 7, nine
- 2:06through 17. You can check that out later.
- 2:09These we're reading about now though, the completion of those
- 2:14who survive the tribulation because that that tribulation
- 2:17isn't over yet until after the bulls of wrath are poured out
- 2:20and the battle of Armageddon is over and then the second coming
- 2:24of Christ occurs. But this period is we're reading
- 2:27about right now is within the time parameters of the
- 2:30tribulation. And as I said that the bowl
- 2:33judgments are still waiting to be poured out.
- 2:37Now, even though the Antichrist has killed these people in the
- 2:40in the natural and the body physically, they have victory
- 2:44over him. And it's a glorious thing that I
- 2:47love what Jesus says in Matthew 1028.
- 2:49Do not fear those who kill the body that cannot kill the soul,
- 2:54but fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body.
- 2:58And hell. Now I don't know what my and
- 3:01demise will be, nor do you know what yours will be.
- 3:04If things get more difficult and our rights are being taken away,
- 3:08will there come a time where they'll begin to make examples
- 3:11of Christians? They've done it in past
- 3:13centuries. Nero did it, you know, and Titus
- 3:16did it back in 8070. We know it's happened throughout
- 3:20the history of the church in the the first several thousand
- 3:23years. And there's more martyrs believe
- 3:25it the occurring, more martyrdom occurring today than ever before
- 3:30in countries such as Sudan and Iraq and Afghanistan, you know,
- 3:36and Iran. It's just horrible what's going
- 3:40on in Indonesia and other countries that are led and ruled
- 3:45by Islam. And you don't have the ability
- 3:49in these countries to stand up as a Christian and proclaim the
- 3:54gospel of Jesus Christ because if you do, you're threatened
- 3:58with losing your life. And so many people do lose their
- 4:03life in these countries. And the wonderful thing is that
- 4:06they the more the persecution gets heavier and more intense,
- 4:10the more the church comes alive. I mean, we need some heat.
- 4:14All of us need heat to wake us up out of our lethargy and our
- 4:17complacency and our indifference of Oh well, this another Sunday.
- 4:22One day, if we don't watch it, life will not continually be
- 4:26like we got used to it being in the good old USA because our
- 4:30rights and our freedoms are being taken daily.
- 4:35They are. And if you don't see that
- 4:38occurring, I don't care. Republican or Democrat, it's not
- 4:41a, it's not a, a party issue, it's a heart issue.
- 4:46And so we have people leading our countries, leading our
- 4:49school systems, leading our local governments that have No
- 4:53Fear of God before their eyes. And persecution is what brings
- 5:00life. It brings the gospel out.
- 5:03It brings many, many people coming to the Kingdom.
- 5:06And that's what happens in the in the revelation, in spite of
- 5:11the horror that goes on and all the difficulty, many, many, many
- 5:15people become Christian. So if it's your your day and
- 5:19they're taking you to the firing squad or they're taking you to
- 5:22the gas chamber, they're taking you to the fire pit, you know,
- 5:26when you're in your mind, you think of, boy, that would be
- 5:28horrible. I don't want that.
- 5:29And none of us wanted it and no one in their right mind would
- 5:31want that. But if they do, we can be
- 5:34encouraged. What Jesus says do not fear
- 5:36those who can kill the body. A few moments of discomfort,
- 5:40right? And we're with the Lord.
- 5:45You read about those who were martyred in, in, in the fire.
- 5:47They put him in the fire and, and they're still in there
- 5:49praising God and, and they, they would cut off their hands and
- 5:53their arms and they cut out their tongue and, and, and, and,
- 5:57and they had people in the fire. The last thing they would do
- 5:59would put their hands up to heaven.
- 6:00Just showing they only have allegiance.
- 6:03The martyrs to the King of kings and Lord of Lords.
- 6:08Verse three and four they sing the song of praise, 2 songs, one
- 6:11song of Moses and one the song of the Lamb.
- 6:16And I love what Jesus says in Matthew 517.
- 6:18Do not think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets.
- 6:22I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.
- 6:26Jesus and Moses are like this, the old covenant and the new
- 6:31covenant. They come together and the
- 6:33person of Christ Jesus doesn't say that the law is
- 6:38inconsequential. It's critical.
- 6:40It's absolutely a necessity, but we don't get our justification
- 6:46by keeping the law. We could never keep it.
- 6:48We all broke it. We still break it.
- 6:50Christ kept the law. He's a fulfillment of the law.
- 6:53Law was brought by Moses, and grace and truth was bought by
- 6:57Jesus Christ. Jesus is very close to Moses.
- 7:02He anointed Moses in the Old Testament.
- 7:07He walked with Moses in the midst of his ministry.
- 7:11Jesus spoke with Moses. If you remember, in Mark Chapter
- 7:149 on Mont Tabor and the Mount of Transfiguration, Moses and
- 7:19Elijah were there in the midst with Jesus and Jesus in his
- 7:22transfigured state, along with Moses and Elijah.
- 7:25Moses is alive, Elijah is alive, and the Kingdom.
- 7:30One day we'll see them. It talks about Moses in the book
- 7:34of Hebrews Chapter 11 verse 23 through 29.
- 7:37Verse 27 says by faith he forsook Egypt, and like Moses,
- 7:44you and I, by faith we forsake this world, not fearing the
- 7:50wrath of the king, for he endured as seeing him who is
- 7:57invisible. And I trust every day you and me
- 8:00are enduring this world and its heartache and its insanity by
- 8:07trusting him who we can't yet see, who the Bible says not
- 8:12seeing we believe. So there's this perfect union
- 8:16between the law of God and between the grace of God Christ
- 8:21fulfilled what we have been unable to fulfill and the song
- 8:25is beautiful. The song gives praise to God.
- 8:29It gives praise to God for his works.
- 8:32It says great and marvelous are your works.
- 8:35This would be a good worship song to learn worship team and
- 8:39put the music, wouldn't it the lyrics here we got great
- 8:42musicians, you know and and pray that you can put this song to to
- 8:47to some worship. We can we can sing this song
- 8:50here at Calvary. God's works great and marvelous
- 8:53are his works his ways just and true are your ways his
- 9:00worthiness. You shall not fear you, O Lord,
- 9:06who shall not fear you, O Lord, and glorify a name, your name,
- 9:09for you alone, our holy, for all nations come and worship before
- 9:14you. The song magnifies God's works,
- 9:19His ways, His worthiness, and His worship.
- 9:23All nations shall come and worship before you, for your
- 9:27judgments have been revealed. So the verse 5 and 6, the angels
- 9:33are coming now after these things.
- 9:34I looked and behold, the temple, the Tabernacle, the testimony in
- 9:38heaven was open. This, this blows my mind.
- 9:41I mean, I don't know how you guys think about having what it
- 9:43looks like. And some people have.
- 9:45You're going to be on clouds with harps and that's all you're
- 9:47going to do forever. Believe me, that is the farthest
- 9:50from the truth. I mean, heaven is a physical
- 9:54realm. It's a dimension that transcends
- 9:57this space and time, but it's actually more real and tangible
- 10:02than this world that we're passing through that's going to
- 10:06one day be destroyed and the new heaven and the new earth is
- 10:09going to be revealed. Not any.
- 10:11Will there be a new Jerusalem that will descend out of heaven?
- 10:15But there'll be a new heaven and a new earth.
- 10:17So the real estate, the territory that we're going to
- 10:20have access to in our new bodies, our glorified states,
- 10:24it's going to be incredible. I mean, the, the beauty and the
- 10:28things to do and the things to wonder and the things to
- 10:30experience, You know, we're going to go to heaven and it
- 10:33isn't going to be like, oh, it's boring.
- 10:35This is all there is. And I, you know, I'm perfect now
- 10:37and I, you know, and no, we're going to the Bible says in the
- 10:40ages to come, he's going to show us his exceeding riches and his
- 10:44grace toward us in Christ Jesus. I mean, eons upon eons upon
- 10:49eons. And we're never going to once
- 10:50say, isn't there anything new here?
- 10:52Because his mercies will be new just as they are now.
- 10:56Morning by morning, day by day, every every day, there's going
- 11:00to be some new cool thing that one of us, Wow, you should see
- 11:02what I saw the other day. I was 1,000,000 miles from
- 11:05Pluto. And, and God, he showed me this
- 11:07thing that I never, you know, and we're all going to be like
- 11:10that all the time. We're going to be so excited and
- 11:13so stoked and so in love with God and so in love with Christ
- 11:17and the Holy Spirit and the Kingdom of heaven that none of
- 11:20us are ever going to ever long for anything that's on the face
- 11:23of this earth. Matter of fact, it says later on
- 11:25he's going to wipe away all tears.
- 11:27There will be no more remembrance of the former things
- 11:30for the former things that passed away.
- 11:33The temple of the Tabernacle of his testimony in heaven, this
- 11:37literal temple and the Kingdom of heaven.
- 11:41We study about this in Exodus and Hebrews.
- 11:43It reminds us of the Tabernacle of meeting with God.
- 11:47When God told Moses to build this temple, this Tabernacle, it
- 11:52was based on a pattern of heaven.
- 11:54If you ever read the specific details of everything that was
- 11:59design about how that temple was built, the, the, the, the
- 12:03structure, the parameters, the height, the width, the depth,
- 12:06the, the different instruments in there that were used to, to
- 12:09magnify and and glorify God in the midst of the sacrificial
- 12:13worship system. The, the, the, the color of the
- 12:16material and the length and the, and I mean, it's a spectacular,
- 12:21the attention to detail. And when we get to heaven
- 12:23someday, the Tabernacle that we're going to see is going to
- 12:27be mind blowing because the beauty of it will exceed
- 12:31anything that man could have ever made on earth.
- 12:34The, the, the temple, the Tabernacle that was built on
- 12:37earth by man with man's hands was only a pattern, a a slight
- 12:43facsimile of the reality of what was existing in the Kingdom of
- 12:48heaven. And out of this temple the seven
- 12:51angels come with the seven plagues.
- 12:53They bring God's judgment, and these judgments are sent out by
- 12:57God and by Him alone before His throne.
- 13:01It talks about their clothing, bright linen, having their chest
- 13:04girded with golden bands. The bright, pure linen
- 13:08represents the purity and the holiness of our Savior Jesus
- 13:12Christ. The gold band represents God's
- 13:14judgments that are pure and righteous.
- 13:18And verse 7 and 8, it talks about the four living creatures.
- 13:21This is fascinating to me and I, I never thought about this when
- 13:24I read this. You know, the four living
- 13:26creatures that I read about in Isaiah prior to the Lord's
- 13:29Supper. What are they doing continually?
- 13:32They're saying, holy, holy, holy are you, O God, who was and is
- 13:37and is to come. They do that 24/7, day in and
- 13:40day out, day in and day out, day in and out, for all eternity.
- 13:45But they stop here for a moment. One of the four living creatures
- 13:49give to the seven angels the 7 golden bowls of the wrath of God
- 13:53who lives forever and ever. It's almost like everything
- 13:56stops in heaven, this constant sound of holy, holy, holy are
- 14:02you. O God.
- 14:03They take and give to the angels what now will bring the ultimate
- 14:09glory to God, this outpouring of His final just wrath and anger
- 14:16upon the face of an ungodly world.
- 14:19I don't know about you guys, but I used to watch like New Year's
- 14:23Eve thing on TV and I'd have my few drinks at one time and all
- 14:28that goofy stuff. And you know, I mean party,
- 14:31whatever it is that we would do. And, and, and, and that's like
- 14:35Sodom and Gomorrah. When you look at what goes on on
- 14:38New Year's Eve in Times Square, people are drunk beyond
- 14:42recognition, having sex in the street, urinating in the street.
- 14:47This drugs everywhere. I mean everybody all there.
- 14:51It's like the what it is, guys and gals.
- 14:56It's the picture of the real cesspool of what this earth
- 15:00represents to a holy God. It's the masses of humanity.
- 15:04You give them an opportunity to gather, to basically flaunt
- 15:08before a holy God, immoral lifestyles.
- 15:12And they want to know what, when's the next event I can show
- 15:16up at? When's the next party I can go
- 15:19to? And God has to look at this and
- 15:22and then this is what his wrath is going to come out upon.
- 15:25I mean, it isn't like those people down there.
- 15:28Many of them have heard the truth of the gospel.
- 15:30Many of them have family members that are praying for them and
- 15:33tell them you need a savior. You need to turn from your sin.
- 15:35You need to repent, you need to get saved.
- 15:38Oh, I don't want to hear that. I'm tired of hearing that.
- 15:40Leave me alone. And they just keep running from
- 15:42it. They're, you know, the the
- 15:44prodigal. We just want to go out and do
- 15:46our own thing. And some of us, by the grace of
- 15:48God, come to our senses and say, there's got to be more to life
- 15:51than this. Living in this cesspool of sin,
- 15:54I start to feel so dirty and so filthy and so messed up.
- 15:59And, and I'm looking up into the heavens at night and the stars
- 16:02and the skies. And I say there has to be more
- 16:04to life than what I'm living, that there has to be a reason
- 16:07why I was created. And then the Holy Spirit begins
- 16:11to work and begins to draw us to truth.
- 16:14And we begin to like the next drink or the next sexual
- 16:20encounter, or the next thing I steal, or the next thing I am
- 16:24jealous over, the next thing I'm lustful over, the next thing my
- 16:28greed or my selfishness, it doesn't fulfill me anymore.
- 16:32It's empty the the next drug. It just doesn't do it for me
- 16:35anymore. I am so burnt out and so over
- 16:38this world. And that's why some people sit
- 16:41in the end of the bed with a gun, thinking there's nothing
- 16:44else. I'm going to kill myself.
- 16:45I'm going to take my life, but thank God for the gospel of
- 16:48Jesus Christ. Thank God for the Gideon Bibles
- 16:51that are in the hotel rooms when the when the man or the woman's
- 16:54in there not knowing what to do. And then they're looking and
- 16:56they open the drawer and they see a Bible and they open it for
- 16:59the first time. And in the front, it gives them
- 17:01the plan of salvation. And they read the gospel and
- 17:05they get saved and they put their gun down or someone who's
- 17:08sitting in the hotel room and they're scanning the TV, this
- 17:11looking. And all the sudden they catch an
- 17:13old Billy Graham evangelistic gospel message or someone else
- 17:18who's faithful to preach the word in the middle of the night
- 17:21to some lost soul, and they get saved.
- 17:25This temple represents the holiness of God.
- 17:28And the bulls are now given in the midst of the cloud of God's
- 17:32glory that's filling the temple. There's an old worship song.
- 17:36I see the Lord and his glory fills the temple.
- 17:41Holy, holy is the Lord. And so these 7 golden bowls,
- 17:45they're not a big like a round concave bowl, they're flat like
- 17:50saucers. And they're used in the Old
- 17:53Testament for the ritual drinking or the pouring out of
- 17:57sacrifices upon the altar. Their their contents are quickly
- 18:02and easily poured out, such as were used in a temple to hold
- 18:05the fire when the incense was burned.
- 18:09So it isn't like these huge bowls that they're going to need
- 18:115000 angels to get in the bottom and finally pour it out.
- 18:16They're they're just waiting just to be tipped.
- 18:18And as they're tipped, God's judgment flows everywhere.
- 18:23The temple's filled with the glory of God.
- 18:26It says in verse 8, as we begin to conclude, the temple was
- 18:29filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power.
- 18:33The glory fills the temple. It says no one can enter.
- 18:37Why can't anyone enter into the temple?
- 18:41It's no more time of intercession.
- 18:44There's no one that can go in behind, behind in front of the
- 18:47the throne of God and say, wait, there's more.
- 18:51It's over. There's no more time for
- 18:54intercession. The judgement of God is going to
- 18:57be poured out. The cloud covers the Tabernacle
- 19:01of meeting. In the Old Testament, the glory
- 19:03of the Lord fills the temple. It says Moses in Exodus chapter
- 19:0740 was not able to enter the Tabernacle of meeting because
- 19:11the cloud rested above it and the glory of the Lord filled the
- 19:15Tabernacle. It's referred to the Chicana
- 19:18glory. It was a coin phrase used by the
- 19:22Hebrew rabbis that meant that He came to dwell in our midst, the
- 19:27divine visitation of the presence or dwelling of Jehovah
- 19:30God on the earth, the visible manifestation of God's glory.
- 19:35And I sense that sometime I hope you do too, when I come here and
- 19:38I worship before the Lord. And these worship people,
- 19:43they're, they're excellent musicians, but that's not what
- 19:46they're about. These people love Jesus Christ.
- 19:50Their heart is to truly honor him and to worship him and to
- 19:53have their eyes on him and to glorify him.
- 19:56And as they do that, they bring us in with them.
- 19:59And we're caught up in this sense of the Kabat of God, the
- 20:05manifest presence of God. And I see many of you, you, you
- 20:08raise your hand or your, your heads are down or you're about
- 20:11or some of you are about about on the face of on your face or
- 20:15wanting to be on your knees because you're so aware of God's
- 20:19presence in the worship. And that's what God wants us to
- 20:24experience more and more because as we as we experience his
- 20:28presence, I don't want to be in sin.
- 20:32I don't want to be unforgiving. I don't want to be bitter.
- 20:36I don't want to be jealous. I don't want to be greedy.
- 20:39I don't want to be vengeful. I want my heart to be made right
- 20:44with God and experience God's love and heaven.
- 20:48After these judgments are poured out, we will have access to this
- 20:53temple always and forever. I love what it says.
- 20:56IN2013 of Revelation I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
- 21:00behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with
- 21:04them, and they shall be His people.
- 21:06God himself will be with them and be their God.
- 21:10So the bowls are poured out. They come from His glory and
- 21:15from His power, and there's no intercession that can avail at
- 21:19this point in time because the world is now doomed.
- 21:23All sinful people on the earth, the Pagan empires will be
- 21:27brought to their knees and destroyed.
- 21:29These bowls of wrath are the third woe.
- 21:32And we've studied that throughout the Book of
- 21:34Revelation, which is associated with the 7th trumpet and the
- 21:39end, second coming of Jesus Christ.
- 21:41And I like to just conclude in Revelation Chapter 11, verse 14,
- 21:47it says the second woe is passed.
- 21:49And again, this is the chronological aspect.
- 21:52You can't just go from verse to verse, chapter to chapter and
- 21:56Revelation. You have to flip back to keep
- 21:57the things in continuity and flow and context.
- 22:00The second woe is passed. Behold, the third woe is coming
- 22:03quickly. And that's what we study today,
- 22:05this third woe that is about to be poured out.
- 22:08The 7th Angel sounded the the 7th trumpet at the at the end of
- 22:12this period, beginning into the period of the bowls being poured
- 22:17out, it says there were loud voices in heaven saying the
- 22:19kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord
- 22:22and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.
- 22:26And the 24 elders who sat before God on the Thrones fell on their
- 22:30faces and worshiped God, saying, we give you thanks, O Lord God
- 22:34Almighty, the one who is and who was and who is to come, because
- 22:39you've taken your great power and reign.
- 22:42The nations were angry and your wrath has come.
- 22:45And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that
- 22:49you should reward your servants, the prophets and the Saints, and
- 22:52those who fear your name small and great, and should destroy
- 22:56those who destroy the earth. Then the temple of God was open
- 23:00in heaven, and the ark of his covenant was seen in his temple,
- 23:03and there was lightning noises, thunderings and earthquakes and
- 23:08great hail. Come quickly, Lord Jesus.
- 23:11Amen. If you're here today and you
- 23:15don't have a Savior, I can't make you get saved.
- 23:19I can't save you, but His Spirit can, and I know His Spirit is
- 23:23present here today. The Holy Spirit convicts you.
- 23:26It gives you that gnaw. He gives you that gnaw.
- 23:29Hey, this stuff's true. You got to deal with it.
- 23:32This is real. You can leave here and try to
- 23:33forget about it, but you can't. You can run, but you can't hide.
- 23:37God is coming after you today because He loves you and He
- 23:40wants to spare you from all these things that are going to
- 23:43come upon the earth one day, and they could be sooner than later.
- 23:49As we look at what's happening in the world, we have a sense
- 23:52that these days are closer than ever.
- 23:57Thanks for being with us today here on Living Waters of Grace.
- 24:01We're in the Book of Revelation, and we find it fascinating how
- 24:04influential and involved the angels are in this book.
- 24:09They bring about whatever it is that God has instructed them to
- 24:13do, but it's through their actions that much of the
- 24:17judgements come on the earth. The angels are in submission to
- 24:20God as their authority, but He utilizes them in unique ways
- 24:25throughout this book. Like angels have a specific
- 24:28purpose from God, you have a unique purpose and plan too.
- 24:32God wants to use you in your life as a testimony to others
- 24:36and to bring others who are currently lost into the fold of
- 24:39God. God would love more than
- 24:42anything for all who are willing to come to Him for salvation,
- 24:46but he wants it to be their choice, not a forced situation.
- 24:51This is the way God works, not forcing himself on anyone, but
- 24:55giving each person free will. If you're interested in learning
- 24:59about this choice that's free and that it's a gift, go to

- 25:08then find the link for what we believe.
- 25:11We'd love to be a help and a resource for you as you walk
- 25:14through what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

- 25:22touch with us or submit a prayer request.
- 25:25We'd love to hear from you. That's all for today's edition
- 25:28in Revelation, but there's much more that Pastor Clark plans to
