Andy Burnham's biggest announcement – in a conference speech littered with the things – was his ambition to create a National Care Service, which he said would be as significant as the NHS.
We can't fault his ambitions especially as, at Quiet Riot, we have all had dealings with care services and know only too well how threadbare and inadequate present provisions are.
