- 2:16Speaker 1: did a show last night, and then you asked me
- 2:17Speaker 1: if I wanted to do this one. Yeah, trust me,
- 2:19Speaker 1: I get it anyway. No, I'm just I'm just seezing anyway.
- 2:23Speaker 1: So yeah, we've got VC with us tonight. We have

- 2:41Speaker 1: On the background anyway, So I think he's maybe.
- 2:44Speaker 6: Having some latency issues.
- 2:47Speaker 3: You're faking in and out on me, is it me?
- 2:52Speaker 7: No, I don't know, No, it's it's it's always the
- 2:58Speaker 7: problem if they're issue.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Probably. Yeah, it was fine until somebody showed up. And
- 3:04Speaker 1: I don't know who where who the coal issue is.
- 3:07Speaker 1: So because yeah, I wasn't having I wasn't having I
- 3:12Speaker 1: wasn't having this issue until I started trying to bring
- 3:14Speaker 1: other people in. So I don't know what's going on. Anyway.
- 3:16Speaker 1: You guys talk amongst yourselves for a minute. I'm gonna
- 3:18Speaker 1: try to narrow this down. So maybe if I shut up.
- 3:27Speaker 6: So, what's up, guys?
- 3:28Speaker 3: While he's while, oh, you know, just uh wondering if
- 3:34Speaker 3: I could have some kippers for breakfast.
- 3:37Speaker 4: You can always have kippers for breakfast.
- 3:39Speaker 6: You can have whatever the hell you want.
- 3:41Speaker 7: Yeah, that is what that's saying. You can also have
- 3:44Speaker 7: them for lunch, you know, but.
- 3:47Speaker 3: You got to have a little breakfast because everyone's millionaire.
- 3:51Speaker 6: And you can even have them with whiskey if you want.
- 3:54Speaker 3: Sure, But you know who we haven't introduced yet, the uh,
- 4:01Speaker 3: the spine of this whatever the fuck this is, Aggie?
- 4:06Speaker 3: How you doing?
- 4:07Speaker 4: I'm the spine. If I'm the spine, there's an issue
- 4:12Speaker 4: you have?
- 4:14Speaker 3: I mean.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Podcast, yes exactly, I'm doing okay, a little cold, but
- 4:29Speaker 4: I I I managed to to get here as fast
- 4:33Speaker 4: as I could to warm up.
- 4:35Speaker 3: You have a cold or it is cold cold? I
- 4:39Speaker 3: know it's sixty degrees. I mean I'm just bundled out.
- 4:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I would like sixty.
- 4:47Speaker 7: I'm good. He's gotta He's gonna whip out the world
- 4:49Speaker 7: blink because it's sixty. I've got a degree, I've got.
- 5:08Speaker 6: Hey. You know the little little known, little known story here, Uh,
- 5:12Speaker 6: Roy Clark before the big fame and fortune. Now, Roy
- 5:17Speaker 6: Clark was always a hell of a guitar and banjo player,
- 5:22Speaker 6: always always. But when Roy had first started, he haaw
- 5:27Speaker 6: and they didn't know if it was going to be
- 5:29Speaker 6: a real show or not. He was still a butcher
- 5:33Speaker 6: in Dade County, Florida. Had a meat shop. Yep, had
- 5:39Speaker 6: a meat shop.
- 5:42Speaker 3: You know, And that tracks because every butcher I've ever
- 5:45Speaker 3: known has had those gigantic sausage fingers.
- 5:48Speaker 6: And he had him buddy and he had.
- 5:53Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, he could play. Everybody talks about all the
- 5:59Speaker 8: techniques Eddie Van Halen invented. Guess what, Go back and
- 6:02Speaker 8: watch some Roy Clark videos, a lot of stuff.
- 6:08Speaker 4: I want to say, he's still considered the premier banjo
- 6:11Speaker 4: player ever. I mean, he's probably the great.
- 6:14Speaker 3: He's a premiere string player overall string.
- 6:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, seriously.
- 6:20Speaker 7: You know, like he said, everybody's everybody talks about Eddie
- 6:23Speaker 7: van Halen being an innovator and he was in his
- 6:26Speaker 7: own way, but Roy Clark, other people like Django Reinhardt,
- 6:33Speaker 7: these these guys paved the way. And you can't talk
- 6:37Speaker 7: about Eddie Van Hallen without talking about.
- 6:40Speaker 4: And let's not forget Glenn Campbell and I don't know
- 6:45Speaker 4: anybody remembers what he did the eighteen.
- 6:48Speaker 7: Jerry Reid too. Jerry Reid was amazing.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Terry Reid, Jerry Reid, Roy Clark on he is like
- 6:55Speaker 3: some of the best pick and you'll ever see.
- 6:58Speaker 4: I still get the reruns on one of those you
- 7:02Speaker 4: know family.
- 7:03Speaker 6: Channel retro channels.
- 7:04Speaker 4: Yeah, yes, I still get the reruns. They're still great.
- 7:08Speaker 3: I'll go straight to YouTube and watch Roy Clark and
- 7:10Speaker 3: Jerry Reid just so that way I can know that
- 7:11Speaker 3: I want I lived on the same planet as used
- 7:14Speaker 3: to at the same time once.
- 7:15Speaker 4: Exactly absolutely nothing to do with this, but I would
- 7:19Speaker 4: love to see Hot Stuff again. I love that movie
- 7:21Speaker 4: with Jerry Reid and Sustam Plichet.
- 7:23Speaker 5: Remember, yeah, yeah, what what did they call the the
- 7:31Speaker 5: he haw analog on the Simpsons ship?
- 7:35Speaker 7: Uh? I forgot the name of it, but I know
- 7:39Speaker 7: one had big shirtless Joe.
- 7:44Speaker 6: Is that anything like big gay al Or.
- 7:50Speaker 7: Had a bunch of it had a bunch of country Daves,
- 7:53Speaker 7: and then the guys had a big shirtless Joe. That
- 7:56Speaker 7: was the last guy they introduced.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Man uh ship, Yeah, I mean I remember it, but
- 8:06Speaker 3: I remember more Nelson just insisting on going to see
- 8:11Speaker 3: Andy Williams when they were in Branson.
- 8:14Speaker 7: Oh god, yeah, and then he came out with Moon
- 8:17Speaker 7: Rivers music.
- 8:21Speaker 3: Oh god, I I despise Happy Holidays. I swear I
- 8:27Speaker 3: want to punch kittens whenever I hear that.
- 8:30Speaker 6: Really the little Happy Holidays?
- 8:34Speaker 3: Yeah, that one. Yeah, because doing Dickery Doc and I
- 8:39Speaker 3: just I just become infuriated.
- 8:47Speaker 7: You know, I'm going frankly, But there's only one song,
- 8:51Speaker 7: and that's the most wonderful time of the year. And
- 8:54Speaker 7: that's the only Christmas song I want to hear from him.
- 8:57Speaker 6: And I will give anybody a pass on hating a
- 8:59Speaker 6: Christmas because it's the same for me with Christmas shoes.
- 9:06Speaker 6: Everybody become violent when I hear that.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Yeah, my granddaughter was brushing your teeth the other night
- 9:14Speaker 1: after dinner and getting ready for bed and was singing
- 9:18Speaker 1: the Paul McCartney Christmas song that I'm not even because
- 9:21Speaker 1: it's an ear where I'm not going to do it.
- 9:23Speaker 1: And I was really doing my best not to kill
- 9:27Speaker 1: one of my grandchildren because I'm like, and you wanted
- 9:31Speaker 1: to punch you.
- 9:33Speaker 4: I don't know if anybody else follows. Father Mike Schmidt,
- 9:37Speaker 4: he's a Catholic priest, and he had a list of
- 9:41Speaker 4: the worst Christmas songs and number one was last Christmas.
- 9:44Speaker 4: He said, he's literally looking at the at the camera saying,
- 9:49Speaker 4: don't listen to this song. It is a tragic song.
- 9:52Speaker 4: It's an awful song. It's telling you that this woman
- 9:55Speaker 4: broke your heart and threw it away. This is not
- 9:57Speaker 4: a Christmas song. The only time I mentioned Christmas is
- 9:59Speaker 4: in the title. He just went a grant about this song.
- 10:04Speaker 4: And I was like, you know, he's right, this is
- 10:06Speaker 4: not and you.
- 10:07Speaker 6: Know what, it actually displaced Mariah Carey from number one
- 10:11Speaker 6: this past Christmas.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Oh wow.
- 10:16Speaker 3: Oh Then to answer your question, it was Yahoo. Okay, yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 3: I got that from Jeff on Discord. Thanks Jeff.
- 10:27Speaker 7: Nice.
- 10:28Speaker 6: M see the networking works.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Nice.
- 10:35Speaker 6: The reach of toxic masculinity is.
- 10:38Speaker 1: A thing, is a thing.
- 10:40Speaker 3: Yes, Actually, we're going to talk about the most depressing
- 10:44Speaker 3: Christmas songs of all time. It's The Pretender's two thousand Miles.
- 10:49Speaker 6: Quite possibly, I can see that, quite possibly. I still
- 10:54Speaker 6: think one of my favorite Christmas songs is the Pogues.
- 11:00Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, I'm looking at my calendar and it's the
- 11:08Speaker 4: middle of January.
- 11:10Speaker 6: We're talking, and we're talking Christmas. Yeah, I should be
- 11:14Speaker 6: talking Marty Grosone here.
- 11:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 6: It is Marty gross season here.
- 11:22Speaker 3: We haven't done a show just before Thanksgiving?
- 11:24Speaker 6: Have we?
- 11:25Speaker 1: No?
- 11:25Speaker 7: A lot?
- 11:26Speaker 1: But that's beside the point.
- 11:29Speaker 6: Yeah, we got catching up to do.
- 11:31Speaker 3: I mean, you know, it's calling the doctors in it,
- 11:34Speaker 3: but that's beside the point.
- 11:36Speaker 9: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.
- 11:49Speaker 6: Some uh so at.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Least so at least for the moment, I think I
- 11:52Speaker 1: have all the gremlins back in their cages. We'll see
- 11:54Speaker 1: a long the last.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Hey, you know, that's a good thing. We'll see. So
- 12:04Speaker 6: what's what's knowing? Good guys? I mean, it's it's been
- 12:08Speaker 6: a minute since we all got together.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Well, I have more gray in my hair.
- 12:14Speaker 6: You have more gray in your hair. You do not
- 12:16Speaker 6: get more gray in two months.
- 12:17Speaker 4: I'm sorry if you do, if your mom's living with you, hell,
- 12:26Speaker 4: holy hell. Oh no, no, no, she's the one that
- 12:29Speaker 4: noticed it. Okay, she threw fanastic at me. It was classic.
- 12:34Speaker 6: Look, Aggie, you do not have to say you know,
- 12:37Speaker 6: I know, I know.
- 12:38Speaker 1: You know.
- 12:41Speaker 6: That's why I'm just sitting here going holy hell.
- 12:46Speaker 4: Oh yeah, you know, you know.
- 12:48Speaker 6: Yeah, there's no way I would. I would off myself.
- 12:51Speaker 6: There's no frigging way.
- 12:53Speaker 4: Actually, I had a great time. She was with us
- 12:56Speaker 4: about six weeks, and this was the first holiday without
- 13:02Speaker 4: my dad, so I didn't want her to be alone,
- 13:05Speaker 4: and I figured, you know, I got time, So I
- 13:07Speaker 4: went down there, we picked her up, brought her back
- 13:09Speaker 4: up here, and she stayed with us from Monday before
- 13:14Speaker 4: Thanksgiving until the second of January. And I was over
- 13:21Speaker 4: the moon. My hips were crying because you know, she
- 13:24Speaker 4: kept cooking and I kept eating, and that made a
- 13:28Speaker 4: big vent. But you know, she had a great time.
- 13:31Speaker 4: You know, I think she's now comfortable being here. At
- 13:35Speaker 4: first she wasn't. So she's seriously considering moving up here
- 13:39Speaker 4: to be nearer to us.
- 13:40Speaker 6: So wow, yeah.
- 13:42Speaker 7: Why not now?
- 13:43Speaker 6: I mean, you know, I could understand before when they
- 13:47Speaker 6: were both there, but you know, now she needs to
- 13:50Speaker 6: be close to family.
- 13:53Speaker 4: I think so too. My sister, the one that lives
- 13:55Speaker 4: closest to her, is still four hours away, and she's
- 14:00Speaker 4: not retired yet, so it's not that she can drop
- 14:02Speaker 4: everything and go down to.
- 14:05Speaker 6: So's either, And it's it's eating me alive. But at
- 14:12Speaker 6: the same time, it's like, yeah, okay, I know I
- 14:15Speaker 6: got to do this.
- 14:16Speaker 5: So.
- 14:20Speaker 4: Indeed, but no, we'll see. I will keep everybody updated
- 14:24Speaker 4: because they might come a time when I'm like, my
- 14:26Speaker 4: mom wants to be on the podcast. So just Sergio Lawns.
- 14:38Speaker 4: She's like the the no English here, that lady in
- 14:42Speaker 4: the cartoon. I forget her name, you know I'm talking
- 14:46Speaker 4: about right.
- 14:48Speaker 6: No, no, mister Jesus no here, no.
- 14:53Speaker 1: No, no, no, no, mister Jeff no here, mister Jeff here.
- 14:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's pretty much it.
- 15:03Speaker 3: That's all right, but she has heard me, right, I
- 15:06Speaker 3: think that would be a pretty good deterrent.
- 15:09Speaker 4: Oh yeah, she's When we did the she knows, but
- 15:16Speaker 4: when we did The Wizard of Oz, this was unknown
- 15:20Speaker 4: to me. But she was actually listening. My husband actually
- 15:23Speaker 4: pulled it up on the computer so that she could listen.
- 15:28Speaker 4: And after the show she was like, I thought you
- 15:31Speaker 4: were going to be on the show. I kept waiting
- 15:32Speaker 4: to hear you, and I would look at her going
- 15:34Speaker 4: I was literally the wicked Witch. Mom. She's like, oh,
- 15:39Speaker 4: that makes sense, and I'm like, I'm not sure how
- 15:41Speaker 4: to take that. Okay, my mom throws shade so well
- 15:51Speaker 4: that you know, it's like, takes you five minutes to
- 15:54Speaker 4: figure out, Oh wait, that was shade.
- 15:56Speaker 6: No, when she comes on, this show is going serious.
- 16:00Speaker 6: It's gonna be hard Spanish. I'm going I'm ditching the
- 16:03Speaker 6: English for mom.
- 16:08Speaker 1: I would say, between you and Aggie, she'll be all right.
- 16:10Speaker 1: I can, I can. I can muddle through enough to
- 16:13Speaker 1: be dangerous, so it should be all right.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Yeah, she had, you know, like I said, she she
- 16:18Speaker 4: thought it was kind of fun. I know, my dad
- 16:23Speaker 4: enjoyed War of the World. He thought that it was
- 16:26Speaker 4: very funny.
- 16:27Speaker 6: That is so cool.
- 16:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it was pretty cool. But we'll see if she
- 16:35Speaker 4: moves up here, I might have her as you know,
- 16:37Speaker 4: we might do a mom and daughter podcast and that
- 16:41Speaker 4: might be entertaining enough.
- 16:45Speaker 6: Yes, can you imagine? Yeah, actually I can with special guests.
- 16:55Speaker 9: Gee, oh I would pay back for that.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Yeah. Yeah, so I'll just I'll mind my p's and
- 17:12Speaker 6: q's and.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Oh my god, yeah, she'd fall in love with you.
- 17:16Speaker 4: I'd be like tossed away faster than I could see it.
- 17:24Speaker 4: So how is everybody else's Christmas? Yeah?
- 17:29Speaker 10: Family come over nice and quiet. Actually we avoided the families,
- 17:35Speaker 10: oh did you Yeah, just stayed right at home and
- 17:43Speaker 10: that was all good.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah. This was the first Christmas in thirty years where
- 17:48Speaker 1: I didn't have anything to do on Christmas Day, so
- 17:51Speaker 1: we just hung around the house like Gracie opened her
- 17:54Speaker 1: entire underside tree of presents, and then we cooked a
- 17:57Speaker 1: small Christmas lunch here and then I went and took
- 17:59Speaker 1: a nap.
- 18:00Speaker 6: There you go, that's that's pretty close to mine.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I cooked for all the Olds, and
- 18:07Speaker 3: they wanted soft, chewable foods, so I just made up
- 18:10Speaker 3: bow rose. It was easy. Just drank all day. It
- 18:13Speaker 3: was great.
- 18:14Speaker 6: There you go.
- 18:16Speaker 4: How many people.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Five?
- 18:19Speaker 4: Oh, that's not bad. That's a nice group. Yeah me mom?
- 18:23Speaker 6: And New Years? Give me what New Year's beria? Ah? Yeah,
- 18:34Speaker 6: I mean, okay's that idiot? See mm hmmm.
- 18:38Speaker 3: What I do years is I take all the leftover
- 18:41Speaker 3: ingredients or like you know, all the extra mushrooms and
- 18:43Speaker 3: green onions and everything else have been left over for
- 18:45Speaker 3: all the dishes, and I just make one big ass
- 18:48Speaker 3: for tata.
- 18:50Speaker 6: Hey, not all that there you.
- 18:56Speaker 1: Laura wants to know if you was beefer beer beria.
- 19:00Speaker 6: If it was what beef or goat? Oh it was
- 19:04Speaker 6: it was? It was definitely beef.
- 19:06Speaker 1: Okay, I would say it was the question in the chat.
- 19:09Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:10Speaker 6: Yeah, no, I don't. I don't get into that Tuscaloosa ship.
- 19:14Speaker 6: I don't deal with goat.
- 19:16Speaker 7: See.
- 19:17Speaker 3: I have a simple philosophy about sheep and goat and
- 19:19Speaker 3: lamb and stuff. Is that I'm in a first world country.
- 19:26Speaker 6: I will see.
- 19:28Speaker 1: I like lamb and mcgheiro. That's about it.
- 19:33Speaker 6: When when I was in the UK, I forget which
- 19:37Speaker 6: trip it was over there. It was all work related,
- 19:40Speaker 6: so not fun stuff. But these these guys, we were
- 19:46Speaker 6: at Digital Equipment Corporation's private training facility, which was a hotel, restaurant, bar,
- 19:54Speaker 6: convention center kind of thing. It's just plucked in the
- 19:56Speaker 6: middle of this little village or just outside of this
- 20:00Speaker 6: little village in northern England, and uh, I believe it
- 20:07Speaker 6: was Shrewsbury, but anyway, Uh, they we walked a mile
- 20:14Speaker 6: into town one night because we didn't feel like eating
- 20:16Speaker 6: in the restaurant in the in the little facility there,
- 20:19Speaker 6: I say, little, you know, pretty good sized place. But
- 20:23Speaker 6: these guys were like, come on, we'll go get Indian.
- 20:25Speaker 6: And I'm like, I've never had Indian food, like real
- 20:28Speaker 6: Indian food. And they were like, oh, you're gonna love it.
- 20:32Speaker 7: Come on.
- 20:33Speaker 6: So they dragged me in and the guy comes out
- 20:36Speaker 6: and he's he's straight up Indian Indian and uh, they
- 20:45Speaker 6: all know what they like, and they're they're laughing and
- 20:47Speaker 6: having a good time. And I tell him, I said,
- 20:49Speaker 6: I've never had Indian. So the man goes in the
- 20:51Speaker 6: back and he comes back out a few minutes later.
- 20:54Speaker 6: He's got this stainless steel rolling cart. He comes up
- 20:56Speaker 6: and it's got like twenty bowls on top of the
- 20:59Speaker 6: car and each one has a little sample of the
- 21:01Speaker 6: food in it, and he's like, you just taste until
- 21:04Speaker 6: you find what you like, and then we'll fix it
- 21:06Speaker 6: for you.
- 21:09Speaker 4: Cool.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I took a bite of a bowl and I said,
- 21:15Speaker 6: this is it right here? I love this. He goes, Ah,
- 21:18Speaker 6: the lamb I never knew, huh was delicious? It was
- 21:26Speaker 6: absolutely delicious.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Gee, we were talking about this last night on Manorama.
- 21:33Speaker 3: When I was a kid, my dad would get rack
- 21:35Speaker 3: lamb like once a month, freaking home and cook it.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I can't remember the last time I saw lamb anywhere.
- 21:42Speaker 6: My local public stores carry lamb regularly. I can pick
- 21:45Speaker 6: it up every Saturday if I want it.
- 21:48Speaker 7: Yeah, it's weird.
- 21:48Speaker 4: We can go to Walmart. Walmart has waygu ground beef.
- 21:54Speaker 4: That threw me for a loop.
- 21:56Speaker 7: No, I'm trying to figure out why you have a
- 21:59Speaker 7: hard time find it because it's you know, I'm I'm
- 22:02Speaker 7: in the Northeast and it's thick on the ground here.
- 22:04Speaker 7: You can go to any supermarket and find it.
- 22:07Speaker 6: Yeah, because there's enough Greek population up there, they gotta
- 22:10Speaker 6: have it.
- 22:12Speaker 3: I mean, I'm in Basque territory. You think I should
- 22:14Speaker 3: be able to find it pretty easily.
- 22:17Speaker 6: You would think, yeah, But yeah, and I'm finding it so.
- 22:25Speaker 7: I love that not quite not quite Spanish.
- 22:29Speaker 3: Yes, we love sheep and terrorism.
- 22:39Speaker 6: Wow, for different reasons.
- 22:42Speaker 3: For different reasons. Yes, Yes, Basque separatist are a whole
- 22:49Speaker 3: big thing. Google it anyway.
- 22:51Speaker 4: Yes, but their cheesecake is to die for.
- 22:55Speaker 3: Yes, their cheesecake is.
- 22:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 4: M hm hmmm.
- 23:03Speaker 6: I just got to keep the sheep from running away,
- 23:05Speaker 6: that's all. That's why in grade school they learned to
- 23:12Speaker 6: lower the sheep tine legs into the fronts of their boots.
- 23:19Speaker 7: Either that or leading to we have to keep backing
- 23:22Speaker 7: up just a little bit.
- 23:31Speaker 4: So well, I do have a drink for you gents,
- 23:34Speaker 4: if you were interested. I want to preface this. I
- 23:39Speaker 4: actually have to One is warm and one is cool.
- 23:43Speaker 4: So which one would you rather feature?
- 23:46Speaker 1: There's no choosing here.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Okay, we will start with the Okay, the big cold
- 23:54Speaker 4: libation for the evening. I was very happy to have
- 24:01Speaker 4: received for my stash of RUMs something from already, a
- 24:07Speaker 4: rum that's made locally where he's at. And he sent
- 24:10Speaker 4: me a bottle. And it's absolutely delicious, if you can
- 24:14Speaker 4: say that about a rum. It's very smooth, it's very light,
- 24:18Speaker 4: and that's you know which means I'm hoarding it because
- 24:24Speaker 4: you know, I know my family. So anyway, so I
- 24:27Speaker 4: went with a rum cocktail. And I don't know if
- 24:31Speaker 4: you guys are familiar with Trader Vick's affinity for roma, Yes, okay,
- 24:37Speaker 4: and one of his favorites what's called the adiosa egos,
- 24:41Speaker 4: you know, which basically translates goodbye my friends, right, and
- 24:46Speaker 4: it's it's a very popular cocktail where I'm from. It's not.
- 24:52Speaker 7: It's the kind of.
- 24:53Speaker 4: Cocktail that's not listed, but every bartender has it, and
- 24:58Speaker 4: if you just ask for it at any bar in
- 25:00Speaker 4: Puerto Rico, they'll give it to you. But you never
- 25:03Speaker 4: find it. You know, you'll find the dakeres, and you'll
- 25:05Speaker 4: find the pina coladas, and you'll find those, but this
- 25:09Speaker 4: one is is never listed, but everybody knows it. You
- 25:13Speaker 4: take an ounce of a rum light rum so crystal,
- 25:18Speaker 4: if you have it, half an ounce of French burmouth,
- 25:22Speaker 4: half an ounce of brandy, and half an ounce of
- 25:24Speaker 4: gin and the juice of half a lime. You pour
- 25:30Speaker 4: all of that into a shaker filled with eyes, shake
- 25:33Speaker 4: very very well, and strain into a large chilled cocktail glass.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I cannot stress how good this is. It facts a
- 25:43Speaker 4: punch because you know, it's it's mostly alcohol, but it's
- 25:48Speaker 4: it's very good. It's very refreshing, and it's it's one
- 25:51Speaker 4: of my favorites. I still remember my grandmother ordering this.
- 25:55Speaker 7: She was.
- 25:57Speaker 4: I want to say, she was like seventy nine at
- 25:59Speaker 4: the time, and we took her out to eat into
- 26:04Speaker 4: It's very difficult. There were no major restaurants in my
- 26:08Speaker 4: hometown in Puerto Rico, so we actually have to drive
- 26:11Speaker 4: like an hour to get to a restaurant where you
- 26:14Speaker 4: could sit down and you know, have napkins and so so,
- 26:20Speaker 4: and she ordered that and that was the first time
- 26:24Speaker 4: that I had heard that. And my Dad's like, oh,
- 26:26Speaker 4: it's in the book at home. My dad had Trader
- 26:28Speaker 4: Vis book. I now have it perfect. Yeah, and and
- 26:33Speaker 4: so you know, she let me taste it and I
- 26:36Speaker 4: was like, Yay, this is really good. She's like, it's
- 26:39Speaker 4: not yours. Okay. So that was that was But it's
- 26:44Speaker 4: very it's very bo but like I said, it's very popular,
- 26:47Speaker 4: but you'll almost never find it on the cocktail menu
- 26:52Speaker 4: at any bar. But everybody knows how to make it
- 26:55Speaker 4: because it's a standard.
- 26:56Speaker 3: So so that was such a class version than yeadios motherfucker.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Yes, yes, yes, it's yeah, this is a nice one.
- 27:09Speaker 4: But in honor of Orty, because he was so sweet
- 27:14Speaker 4: to send me that rum, I decided to look up
- 27:17Speaker 4: Trader Vick's version of the Tom and Jerry Yes, and I,
- 27:23Speaker 4: you know, at first, I was like, oh my gosh,
- 27:24Speaker 4: this is like so complicated, but he actually has two.
- 27:28Speaker 4: He has the large volume so that you can serve
- 27:32Speaker 4: it to people, or you can just put in the refrigerator,
- 27:35Speaker 4: you know, and serve yourself as you go along, you know,
- 27:37Speaker 4: week by week or day by day, or you have
- 27:40Speaker 4: your single the single size and the single size. Very
- 27:46Speaker 4: it's it's very simple. I thought it was going to
- 27:49Speaker 4: be like my brain was like no, but it's actually
- 27:53Speaker 4: very simple to do a single Tom and Jerry. And
- 27:55Speaker 4: you just use one egg, an ouse of Jamaican rum,
- 28:00Speaker 4: a teaspoon of the powdered sugar, half a teaspoon of
- 28:05Speaker 4: all spice, yes, all spice, and about a quarter ounce
- 28:10Speaker 4: of brandy. To your taste, you're gonna separate the egg
- 28:16Speaker 4: yolk from the white. So you're gonna mix the egg yolk,
- 28:20Speaker 4: the sugar, the rum, and the spice until it's very
- 28:23Speaker 4: nice and thick and frothy, and then you're going to
- 28:27Speaker 4: add the beaten egg white that you have to beat
- 28:33Speaker 4: the egg white until it's very stiff and frothy too.
- 28:36Speaker 4: You fold that into it, and then you add the
- 28:39Speaker 4: brandy to that mix it well, and then you fill
- 28:43Speaker 4: the mug either with hot water or hot milk, or
- 28:46Speaker 4: even hot coffee if you want. I prefer hot milk
- 28:50Speaker 4: because the consistency is better, but you know your mileage Mayberry.
- 28:55Speaker 4: If you just want hot water, it's fine. Coffee is
- 28:58Speaker 4: really good too. But that's how you make a single
- 29:03Speaker 4: serving of the Tom and Jerry and so you can
- 29:05Speaker 4: do that, you know, on a daily basis if you
- 29:07Speaker 4: don't want to do a big batch because the big
- 29:09Speaker 4: batch requires you know, like a dozen eggs and lots
- 29:14Speaker 4: more stuff. But so those are your drinks for the evening.
- 29:20Speaker 4: I'm seriously thinking after the show making myself and audios.
- 29:27Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, the audio sounds a little better to me,
- 29:30Speaker 6: I think.
- 29:31Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's good. It's a good one.
- 29:35Speaker 3: For those of you playing the home game. You can
- 29:37Speaker 3: get the Trader Vicks Hot buttered Rum and Tom and
- 29:40Speaker 3: Jerry mix on Amazon.
- 29:42Speaker 4: Yes, yes you can. But you know there are some
- 29:46Speaker 4: of us that prefer to labor.
- 29:51Speaker 6: And also yeah, also, by the way, if you are
- 29:55Speaker 6: playing the home version, get some fucking help.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, fair, if you're playing the home version, I
- 30:05Speaker 1: would probably I would probably rename that drink viacnal.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Well, yeah, I can see why. I mean, my grandma
- 30:18Speaker 4: was Brandy Alexander a fan. I mean, that's the only
- 30:23Speaker 4: thing I had ever seen her drink up until that time.
- 30:25Speaker 4: So so when she, you know, asked for that, I
- 30:28Speaker 4: was like, well, I gotta taste that, you know.
- 30:31Speaker 7: Yeah, that's like drinking dessert.
- 30:34Speaker 4: It is, and I to this day I love it.
- 30:36Speaker 4: I have fond memories of the Brandy Alexander. Somebody one
- 30:43Speaker 4: of our mutual's right Girl problems. She actually tagged me.
- 30:46Speaker 4: She said, I found this drink in a book that
- 30:49Speaker 4: I'm reading from nineteen oh nine or something like that.
- 30:51Speaker 4: It was the Brandy Alexander. It's like, oh, it's one
- 30:53Speaker 4: of my favorites. I give her the recipe, so her
- 30:57Speaker 4: husband made she enjoyed it.
- 31:02Speaker 3: But yeah, next year, we've all got to do the
- 31:07Speaker 3: clarified milk punch at the same time, so we can
- 31:09Speaker 3: all enjoy it together next year.
- 31:11Speaker 7: Yes, yes, we do. Yeah, but right now, right now,
- 31:16Speaker 7: I'm going to have a horse's neck.
- 31:17Speaker 6: So yeah, I mean whatever turns you're on.
- 31:21Speaker 4: Yeah, we don't do.
- 31:25Speaker 6: I was, yeah, No, we don't. We definitely don't kink shame.
- 31:28Speaker 6: So if you want to get your godfather on, get
- 31:30Speaker 6: your godfather on.
- 31:31Speaker 7: It's just you shots of Brandy tomp it with ginger
- 31:36Speaker 7: ale and a lemon peel, aad ice and stir.
- 31:40Speaker 6: It doesn't sound bad at all.
- 31:41Speaker 7: No it's not. It's very good.
- 31:44Speaker 4: See.
- 31:44Speaker 3: I thought I was with my reew with my renewed
- 31:47Speaker 3: love of Brandy, and then Vincent I found out has
- 31:50Speaker 3: also embraced that line of cocktails.
- 31:52Speaker 1: So I mean we can pay together. Doesn't are you
- 31:58Speaker 1: keeping your fox on? At least because it's I gave
- 32:00Speaker 1: your socks right, I'm.
- 32:02Speaker 6: Still partial to my cocktail, which is three fingers of
- 32:07Speaker 6: McCowan in a clean glass, hold everything else and just gotch.
- 32:18Speaker 4: It's an I s O cocktail.
- 32:19Speaker 6: I gotta say.
- 32:26Speaker 1: I thought, yeah, no, he only makes those jokes during
- 32:33Speaker 1: actual shows. I'm the one that figures out how to
- 32:35Speaker 1: slide the dick inside her jokes. And see what they
- 32:37Speaker 1: did there?
- 32:42Speaker 4: You have poles?
- 32:43Speaker 6: Did Andrew pass the poles along.
- 32:46Speaker 1: He did well. Actually, ex has been being weird with poles,
- 32:50Speaker 1: so he hasn't really been able to do them lately.
- 32:52Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, okay, I'm just asking, you know.
- 32:57Speaker 1: I think I think he got tired of me making
- 32:59Speaker 1: him put a g string on while I played pour
- 33:01Speaker 1: some sugar on me while he was doing his job.
- 33:03Speaker 1: So I think he's boycotting, That's what I think.
- 33:06Speaker 6: Well, I can understand that that hair gets bound up
- 33:09Speaker 6: in that string, so that hurts.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Don't offer to be the pole, babe. If you're not
- 33:15Speaker 1: going to be the pole babe, dammit, you know.
- 33:21Speaker 6: I'm good with it. Put a bowl on it.
- 33:27Speaker 4: He took a while.
- 33:30Speaker 3: Brown chicken, brown cow.
- 33:33Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:37Speaker 7: No, you gotta go. You got a good nineties German techno.
- 33:45Speaker 6: Your shoulder, what is you know exactly what I was
- 33:54Speaker 6: waiting for it.
- 33:56Speaker 1: I was there with you.
- 33:59Speaker 4: My brother can't outstand nineties techno, and he had a
- 34:03Speaker 4: project that was due. He's a landscape architect, and he
- 34:06Speaker 4: had a project that was due in a couple of days,
- 34:10Speaker 4: and so he puts in nineties techno because he figures
- 34:14Speaker 4: if he hates it so much, he will hurry up
- 34:16Speaker 4: and finish his project. He finished that project in under
- 34:19Speaker 4: five hours, just so that he could shut off the music.
- 34:23Speaker 6: Oh my god, five hours of nineties techno.
- 34:27Speaker 4: Yes, they forced him to finish the project, which you
- 34:32Speaker 4: know he was under the gut so well.
- 34:34Speaker 6: I wouldn't have I wouldn't have heard it after the
- 34:36Speaker 6: first thirty to forty five minutes anyway, because the blood
- 34:39Speaker 6: clotting in my ears would have shut the sound out.
- 34:43Speaker 3: Oh yeah, he had ninety two. And if I never
- 34:47Speaker 3: hear Techno again, it'll be too soon.
- 34:55Speaker 7: Just for that, I'm gonna burn a bunch of craftwork
- 34:57Speaker 7: songs and put them.
- 34:58Speaker 1: On desk.
- 35:02Speaker 3: And I will have set for the season.
- 35:05Speaker 6: There you go.
- 35:07Speaker 4: I'm not gonna lie. But you remember you remember those
- 35:10Speaker 4: the Miller like commercials taste great great less feeling? You
- 35:14Speaker 4: know have or no? Why not both? Why not commercials?
- 35:18Speaker 4: Remember the heavy metal to Hanno.
- 35:23Speaker 3: Fantastic?
- 35:24Speaker 4: It was epic. You know somebody they were at a
- 35:27Speaker 4: bar and they were watching heavy metal videos or something,
- 35:31Speaker 4: and then the you know, the Hispanic guys come in
- 35:33Speaker 4: and they change it to Tehano and then the rock
- 35:36Speaker 4: rockers no heavy metal, no, and somebody comes with the
- 35:40Speaker 4: Miller lighter, you know, wham, why not both? Then it's
- 35:43Speaker 4: heavy metal to Hanno and you see the rock just
- 35:46Speaker 4: with the accordion. Why is that not a thing? Of course,
- 35:57Speaker 4: everybody I tell this to they're like, I've never seen
- 35:59Speaker 4: that commercial. Seriously, look it up. It's on YouTube. Have
- 36:03Speaker 4: you metal to Hano? Just look it up on that
- 36:06Speaker 4: and it comes up and it is the most hilarious thing.
- 36:08Speaker 4: And that needs to be a thing. That needs to
- 36:11Speaker 4: be a thing, that crossover needs to happen.
- 36:16Speaker 3: Reminds me why I used to work construction. You can
- 36:18Speaker 3: tell what phase of house was in whether it was
- 36:20Speaker 3: to Hana or a metal groundwork was to Hano, framing
- 36:27Speaker 3: was metal, finish was to Hano.
- 36:31Speaker 7: Yep.
- 36:34Speaker 3: It was just walk down a track and just hear
- 36:37Speaker 3: polka to screeching guitars, back to Polka.
- 36:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I was just thinking about something sorted. It's kind
- 36:45Speaker 1: of random, but I just saw a bunch of people
- 36:47Speaker 1: posting about all the low gas prices. I really wish
- 36:50Speaker 1: that we had a budget, or that I'd won the lottery,
- 36:52Speaker 1: because remember when Biden, when all the gas prices were
- 36:55Speaker 1: going nuts, and there was Biden at the pump with
- 36:56Speaker 1: the pointy thing that said I did this. I think
- 36:59Speaker 1: I would so make Trump's version of those now and
- 37:01Speaker 1: start dropping them everywhere, because I'm seeing guys are like
- 37:03Speaker 1: a dollar eighty eight in the city. Now I'm not
- 37:05Speaker 1: even playing.
- 37:08Speaker 6: Yeah, well, you guys are always so low on the
- 37:10Speaker 6: gas up there. I mean we get it pretty cheap here,
- 37:13Speaker 6: but you guys are always lower.
- 37:15Speaker 1: Yeah, but I mean there for a little bit, it
- 37:17Speaker 1: was creeping up. There were times that I remember playing
- 37:19Speaker 1: like three and a half and I was starting and
- 37:20Speaker 1: that was back when I was I mean that was
- 37:22Speaker 1: that was under Obama, but under Biden it was getting
- 37:24Speaker 1: close again.
- 37:25Speaker 6: I mean there, I can get gas for about two
- 37:28Speaker 6: twenty one here right now, Lo, I just went under four.
- 37:37Speaker 4: Last I was over there was dollar sixty nine. It
- 37:39Speaker 4: had gone up a little bit.
- 37:41Speaker 2: Kegy nice sixty nine news, but no, seriously, I mean
- 37:49Speaker 2: it's it's so bad in California right now that I
- 37:51Speaker 2: saw a picture at a gas station where there's like
- 37:54Speaker 2: a QR code.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Now that's saying the reason your gas presents are so
- 37:57Speaker 1: high is because you live in one of the most
- 37:58Speaker 1: highly techs states in the Union. That scanned the park
- 38:02Speaker 1: to do something about it.
- 38:05Speaker 6: There, you go.
- 38:06Speaker 1: I was like, damn, I don't.
- 38:11Speaker 4: California is just it's it's such a contradiction everywhere you
- 38:18Speaker 4: have your little pockets of you know.
- 38:22Speaker 6: To be ruined.
- 38:23Speaker 1: It is right.
- 38:28Speaker 7: But worse.
- 38:31Speaker 4: Hey is is that is that petition for some of
- 38:34Speaker 4: the Oregon counties to be annexed by Idaho gaining any
- 38:38Speaker 4: any traction?
- 38:39Speaker 6: I doubt it.
- 38:41Speaker 4: It's too bad.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Well, I know that every I know they're trying to
- 38:46Speaker 3: state in the state of Jefferson again, which, for those
- 38:50Speaker 3: of you who don't know history, Northern California, Oregon and
- 38:53Speaker 3: Idaho were going to bake their own state called the
- 38:55Speaker 3: State of Jefferson. And I think that it had passed
- 38:59Speaker 3: a very vital vote on December fifth, nineteen forty one.
- 39:04Speaker 3: But something happened that week and just everybody forgot about it.
- 39:08Speaker 6: No, not that week.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Somebody messed with our boats.
- 39:19Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah they did.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Don't fuck with their boats.
- 39:25Speaker 4: Don't he touched the butt? Nobody knows that one today.
- 39:33Speaker 6: Oh they should.
- 39:35Speaker 4: They should finding NEMO to call that a butt dose.
- 39:38Speaker 6: Yeah, that's all I heard for weeks and weeks and
- 39:44Speaker 6: weeks my daughter running around to screaming about touching the butt.
- 39:48Speaker 4: I touched a butt.
- 39:49Speaker 6: I touched a butt.
- 39:54Speaker 1: Nice, not really, but yeah, that's anyway.
- 39:57Speaker 6: Sorry, hey for those that actually give half a shit,
- 40:06Speaker 6: which doesn't include me, but you know, just by the
- 40:09Speaker 6: bye if you're a fan. Guns n' Roses has announced
- 40:14Speaker 6: that they will tour in twenty twenty six and they
- 40:18Speaker 6: are taking the Black Crows on the road with them.
- 40:22Speaker 1: Are they all going to be chasing each other around
- 40:24Speaker 1: on their rascals? You know, possibly, I mean, you know,
- 40:31Speaker 1: as a guy, as.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Some I mean, you know, the Stones still tour The.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Stones. The Stones also intravenously take baby blood every night,
- 40:43Speaker 1: so that.
- 40:43Speaker 6: I mean, oh wow, that got dark quick.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I mean, I can't make the Aussie jokes anymore, so
- 40:56Speaker 1: now the Stones are my next tart.
- 40:57Speaker 6: No, that's that's fair, that's fair.
- 41:00Speaker 7: Well no, you said that, and I instantly thought of
- 41:02Speaker 7: the South Park episode with Christopher Reeve. Yeah that got
- 41:08Speaker 7: really dark.
- 41:10Speaker 4: Yeah oh no, oh no, no, no, no, no no.
- 41:15Speaker 6: So also hitting the road in Foreigner, who has been
- 41:20Speaker 6: rejoined by original lead singer Lou Graham. What yes, yes,
- 41:28Speaker 6: Lou is back with the band.
- 41:30Speaker 4: Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.
- 41:32Speaker 6: Yeah. Lou is now the only original member in the
- 41:35Speaker 6: band for twenty twenty six. These guys were actually going
- 41:40Speaker 6: to tour with no original members and still call themselves foreigner.
- 41:44Speaker 6: But yes, they were, but lou Is back in the
- 41:49Speaker 6: band now.
- 41:50Speaker 1: Well, to be truthful, they could have toured with all
- 41:54Speaker 1: original members and still called themselves foreigner because all of
- 41:56Speaker 1: them would have been foreign to the original band.
- 41:59Speaker 6: So h.
- 42:06Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I I that's kind of cool news that
- 42:11Speaker 4: he's back.
- 42:13Speaker 6: And one of the other weird things that I came
- 42:15Speaker 6: across today music related, I saw where the drummer from
- 42:23Speaker 6: Journey was talking about going on tour in twenty twenty
- 42:28Speaker 6: six and the lead singer, the guy that took Steve
- 42:32Speaker 6: Perry's place eventually over time, Arnelle Pineda went on social
- 42:38Speaker 6: media and wished them a great tour. And I'm thinking, way,
- 42:45Speaker 6: you're the lead singer, dude.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Aren't you going?
- 42:50Speaker 6: You know what I was thinking. But that also just
- 42:53Speaker 6: kind of like, who the hell's gonna sing? Then?
- 42:57Speaker 1: I mean, maybe it's you know, the adulvery in the
- 43:00Speaker 1: home alone the lead singer guy left behind, and I don't.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Know, I got to see.
- 43:07Speaker 6: I have not heard anything regarding the possibility of even
- 43:13Speaker 6: Steve Perry joining them again, but the last I heard,
- 43:17Speaker 6: he and Neil Sean still hated each other's.
- 43:20Speaker 4: Ye, that's not going to happen. Yeah, it's not happening.
- 43:24Speaker 4: I honestly doubt it because and.
- 43:27Speaker 6: Again, you know, the Jonathan Kine is not going to
- 43:30Speaker 6: be there because he and Neil Sean hate each other's
- 43:33Speaker 6: guts and went to court, which was.
- 43:36Speaker 4: Weird because the first fracture was between Steve Perry and
- 43:41Speaker 4: Jonathan Kane and Neil Sharan. So those two were on
- 43:46Speaker 4: one side, and then you know, Steve fractured off and whatever,
- 43:52Speaker 4: and you know there were sour grapes involved and whatnot.
- 43:56Speaker 4: And then they found you know, Filipino Journey and so
- 44:00Speaker 4: they went on tour and everything was fine, and then
- 44:02Speaker 4: they had a fracture between Jonathan Kayne and Neil's shown
- 44:06Speaker 4: and I'm like, yep, why it made no sense to me?
- 44:12Speaker 6: Well if you and and look, I would not know
- 44:16Speaker 6: this if it were not for my daughter. But apparently
- 44:19Speaker 6: Neil and his wife do some reality TV. Oh he's
- 44:25Speaker 6: a fucking psycho.
- 44:27Speaker 7: Okay, he has a reputation as how can I put
- 44:33Speaker 7: this model? He's a bit of a prick.
- 44:36Speaker 6: Yeah, he's a very talented prick though. Yeah, and he
- 44:40Speaker 6: doesn't have to be a prick, but but he is.
- 44:44Speaker 4: Well, there comes a time when you can actually just
- 44:47Speaker 4: retire and just keep retired.
- 44:49Speaker 6: I mean, I mean, but and you have you got
- 44:51Speaker 6: to understand. He is the founding member of Journey. He's
- 44:56Speaker 6: the one that put that band together.
- 44:58Speaker 4: Want to put it together? Yeah?
- 45:00Speaker 6: Yeah, and their original drummer quit and joined the Tubes
- 45:06Speaker 6: because he thought Journey was going nowhere.
- 45:11Speaker 4: Bitter regret.
- 45:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Well, you know, Million Girls pretty fucking awesome.
- 45:18Speaker 6: What's that? Yeah?
- 45:21Speaker 3: That is I was pretty awesome.
- 45:23Speaker 7: I mean, given the choice between having to deal with
- 45:25Speaker 7: Neil Sean or fee Way Bill, I'll take Freeway Bill. Yeah.
- 45:29Speaker 6: I mean really he's just a.
- 45:33Speaker 4: And he let's face it, he was in Bill and
- 45:36Speaker 4: Tad's excellent inventor.
- 45:38Speaker 6: There you go.
- 45:39Speaker 3: Yeah, that's.
- 45:43Speaker 4: So.
- 45:43Speaker 6: That's that's what I know about music right now. I mean,
- 45:46Speaker 6: you know, on the retro side anyway.
- 45:49Speaker 3: You know what one of my favorite genres on YouTube
- 45:51Speaker 3: is right now is going to watch them like Gillennials
- 45:54Speaker 3: and ship discover progressive rock. You'll see I was watching
- 46:02Speaker 3: one before. I was watching one before the shows like
- 46:04Speaker 3: dude did He's a gen z sound engineer, and he
- 46:08Speaker 3: discovered E l O and Supertram for the first time,
- 46:11Speaker 3: and he'll do a whole album and just sit there
- 46:14Speaker 3: with his face set to stun.
- 46:16Speaker 7: Dude, I said the same thing. I saw a video
- 46:18Speaker 7: of these two people.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Before auto tune.
- 46:22Speaker 7: Yeah. Some people were listening to the uh the power
- 46:26Speaker 7: station version of Bang a Gong Yeah, And as soon
- 46:30Speaker 7: as the drums kick, and I mean, their eyes got
- 46:32Speaker 7: as big as like dinner plates, and all of a sudden,
- 46:34Speaker 7: they just started moving their shoulders and started, Oh my god,
- 46:37Speaker 7: Oh my god. This is I'm like, damn, I.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Know, I feel I feel so, but I mean, but
- 46:46Speaker 4: it's all generational because I remember when I was working
- 46:50Speaker 4: at sun Coast and Sunkos was owned by the music
- 46:54Speaker 4: Land Group, and so music Land was like right across
- 46:56Speaker 4: from my store, and a couple of kids came in.
- 47:01Speaker 4: Wayne's World had just come out, and they came in
- 47:04Speaker 4: looking for that new band called Queen Freddy. Freddy had
- 47:09Speaker 4: been dead like a year or.
- 47:11Speaker 7: Two, yeah, he had. He died in ninety one, ninety two,
- 47:15Speaker 7: I think, yeah, And.
- 47:16Speaker 4: So I'm looking at him, going, you know what, we
- 47:20Speaker 4: sell mostly videos here, but go across the way and
- 47:23Speaker 4: I knew Paul was the manager of that day, and
- 47:26Speaker 4: he's like he's like the biggest rock person on the
- 47:31Speaker 4: planet that I ever knew, And so I knew this
- 47:33Speaker 4: was just going to get his goat. And I told him,
- 47:35Speaker 4: go to that guy, his name is Paul, and ask
- 47:38Speaker 4: exactly what you just asked me, and he will help you.
- 47:41Speaker 4: And so I sent him over there, and I'm watching.
- 47:43Speaker 4: I mean, I was like, I was like, you know,
- 47:46Speaker 4: Kim Kardashian in the bushes, you know, just watching, and
- 47:49Speaker 4: and sure enough I see, I see Paul was like
- 47:53Speaker 4: six and a half feet tall. So he's bending down
- 47:55Speaker 4: to listen to these two kids, and I see him
- 48:00Speaker 4: like go back. And then he asked them something and
- 48:04Speaker 4: they point at my store and he looks at me,
- 48:07Speaker 4: and I feel the daggers coming at me. But you
- 48:12Speaker 4: know it, like I said, it's all generational. I mean,
- 48:14Speaker 4: these kids had never heard of Queen, you know, so
- 48:17Speaker 4: you know, but they saw the movie. They thought it
- 48:20Speaker 4: was great. And now you have a new fan base,
- 48:23Speaker 4: you know. So it's kind of cool that things are
- 48:26Speaker 4: being rediscovered, you know. Just just today I was telling
- 48:30Speaker 4: my husband about my man Godfrey. That's an old.
- 48:33Speaker 7: Oh my god, I love it.
- 48:37Speaker 4: And my husband had never seen it, and I'm like, oh,
- 48:40Speaker 4: this is date night material. And he's like, are you sure,
- 48:43Speaker 4: and I'm like, dude, you will love it. And sure enough,
- 48:45Speaker 4: my dad would my dad. My my husband was like,
- 48:49Speaker 4: this is great, this is awesome. Where has this been?
- 48:52Speaker 7: He wants to watch every William Powell movie ever made?
- 48:54Speaker 7: Pretty much?
- 48:56Speaker 4: I am, I am. He He had resisted the thin
- 49:00Speaker 4: Man series for a very long time. What I know,
- 49:04Speaker 4: I know, I know, I know, I know, I know,
- 49:07Speaker 4: But now I have opened the door. So yeah, it's
- 49:11Speaker 4: happening this weekend and.
- 49:13Speaker 7: Now it's.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Insert Ron Paul Gift here. All right, we need to
- 49:21Speaker 1: start letting everybody say goodbye, because we got like five

- 51:46Speaker 3: so on and so on. I voted for you know
- 51:49Speaker 3: who's going to have the shortest, and it was me,
- 51:52Speaker 3: And then I was locked out of my account for
- 51:53Speaker 3: a bit.

- 53:01Speaker 7: me about it the first time.
- 53:04Speaker 1: I really need to get a shirt put together for that.
- 53:08Speaker 7: It's that one with the church sign on it, or
- 53:10Speaker 7: it was a sign for a park or something. It
