Speaker 2: Women's Month. During this month, we try to take the

Speaker 2: opportunity to recognize those women that are creating and leaving

Speaker 2: a legacy. We talk about what does history look like

Speaker 2: to us, especially in a era where they are trying

Speaker 2: to erase our hea. They're trying to wipe away those

Speaker 2: things that we have done and trying to put us

Speaker 2: in a place that we're not doing those things that

Speaker 2: we need to be doing. So I'm just on here

Speaker 2: today since I don't have an interview I'm just gonna

Speaker 2: encourage some individuals on today for those women authors. If

Speaker 2: you are looking for a platform to connect to, we

Speaker 2: have an amazing platform. We have an amazing movement going

Speaker 2: on right now. It's a one hundred authors movement. Some

Speaker 2: of the authors are very active, some of them are

Speaker 2: trying to come out of their share. They're getting to

Speaker 2: know some of the other authors. But this is an

Speaker 2: opportunity for you to connect with other like minded authors.

Speaker 2: Also connect with other like man minded brands. Because we

Speaker 2: have other organizations that have authors that are connected to

Speaker 2: our particular movement. So we have, for example, we have

Speaker 2: South Carolina Book Gals that's attached. We have Wings a

Speaker 2: Transformation that's attached. Because these are individuals that are authors

Speaker 2: that also have their own brand, that have their own businesses,

Speaker 2: their own services, these things that they are providing, so

Speaker 2: we also want to shot them out, we want to

Speaker 2: promote them. We also want people to know who they

Speaker 2: are as well, so they are attached. We have doctor

Speaker 2: Kerry who is a professor out of the Birmingham area.

Speaker 2: He is at an HBCU. He also does a lot

Speaker 2: in the literature world within his profession. We also have

Speaker 2: doctor Chen who is one of the group leaders. And

Speaker 2: some of these individuals that I am mentioning these are

Speaker 2: group leaders that are a part of the movement. We

Speaker 2: currently have eight group leaders. The ones that I am

Speaker 2: telling you about are some of the group leaders. So

Speaker 2: we have Charlotte Simon, she is out of New York.

Speaker 2: She is one of the group leaders. We have doctor

Speaker 2: Kimberly toy LaToya braswell, she is a group leader. So

Speaker 2: right now we have forty three authors that's attached to

Speaker 2: this movement. They have an opportunity to get interviews, to

Speaker 2: be a part of other platforms. We have had probably

Speaker 2: about five or six different opportunities where authors could be featured,

Speaker 2: featured in other magazines, on other podcasts. We have opportunities

Speaker 2: where you can be on other podcasts. Also, there's a

Speaker 2: lot of resources and information sharing. We've been doing a

Speaker 2: lot of resource and information sharing. So if you are

Speaker 2: an author and you have books and you're wondering, okay,

Speaker 2: what can I do? And if you are a part

Speaker 2: of this group and you're like, okay, well where is

Speaker 2: all this stuff? It is being provided. We are providing

Speaker 2: this information, We're providing the things. It is up to

Speaker 2: things that's needed. Like I can drive you to the water,

Speaker 2: you drink it. And and that's what I'm doing. I

Speaker 2: have allowed I have tried to build a platform where

Speaker 2: individuals can come together. I have pooled individuals that I

Speaker 2: think are amazing individuals that would be great fit. No,

Speaker 2: I'm not out here trying to just recruit in everybody,

Speaker 2: you know. Before I even really will allow individuals to

Speaker 2: really be a part of this, I kind of look

Speaker 2: at their platform and kind of see, you know, where

Speaker 2: they are, because I want to know if we're on

Speaker 2: the right path, if we are you know, light minded.

Speaker 2: You know they say you got to try the spirit,

Speaker 2: by the spirit, So I want to see if we

Speaker 2: are on the right path, if we're headed on the

Speaker 2: right direction. No, everybody's not gonna everybody's not gonna have

Speaker 2: the same enthusiasm that you have. Everybody's not gonna have

Speaker 2: the same drive that you have. Everybody's not gonna have

Speaker 2: the same everything that you have. So you pull on

Speaker 2: those strengths. And then if you are a person that

Speaker 2: is really strong in an area, then you help those

Speaker 2: that are weak in the area that you are strong in.

Speaker 2: But don't go pull taking on extra tasks. If you

Speaker 2: not know that you you can't even handle what you

Speaker 2: got going on. But if you're that strong person that

Speaker 2: can and you know that you have the ability to

Speaker 2: assist others and to provide these resources and to do

Speaker 2: these things with other people, then do that because when

Speaker 2: you are a helpmate to someone else. And I truly

Speaker 2: believe this, and I think doctor Kimberly who is on

Speaker 2: our prayer line, and she say this all the time,

Speaker 2: and I'm grateful for this because this is something that

Speaker 2: I share with everybody. Now, what you do for others,

Speaker 2: God to make happen for you. So if that's something

Speaker 2: if it's one hundred thousand people doing the same thing,

Speaker 2: we're not doing it exactly the same. And it's something

Speaker 2: you if everybody didn't go they our minds don't think alike,

Speaker 2: we can all agree that we want the best for

Speaker 2: each other. So today I had an experience with one

Speaker 2: of the authors that's a part of the one hundred

Speaker 2: authors of Movement. This. This is how reachable and how

Speaker 2: workable and how humble I am because it does not

Speaker 2: matter what I'm doing. If I'm in a place where

Speaker 2: I can stop what I'm doing and assist you, I'm

Speaker 2: gonna do that. And I did that today. So one

Speaker 2: of the authors, she called me, she was uploading the book.

Speaker 2: Want to release something for her birthday that's coming up,

Speaker 2: just like like me, how I want to release something

Speaker 2: for my birthday that's coming up. So she was telling

Speaker 2: me she was having problems and I hope she don't

Speaker 2: kill me for sharing this story. But she was telling

Speaker 2: me she was having problems uploading what it was, and

Speaker 2: we even got on a zoom with her son and

Speaker 2: we was just trying to get this worked out. I'm

Speaker 2: gonna tell you how workable I am, and how down

Speaker 2: the earth I am, and how I don't think I'm

Speaker 2: above anybody, and how I'm not finna charge your arm

Speaker 2: in the lake. But I'm gonna try to make sure

Speaker 2: that you get through this and that you get it handled,

Speaker 2: and that you can know how to do it for

Speaker 2: the next time, so when it come up, you ain't

Speaker 2: got to keep going to people and asking people. And

Speaker 2: then the same thing that I did for her today,

Speaker 2: she said somebody wanted to charge her one thousand dollars

Speaker 2: to do it. And guess what it took me. I

Speaker 2: told her, I said, no, just send it to me,

Speaker 2: just let me do it and let me get it done.

Speaker 2: And we got it done. It didn't even take us

Speaker 2: an hour. And she's my witness. But I say all

Speaker 2: of that to say this, we all have gifts, we

Speaker 2: y'all have talents, and God would put us in the

Speaker 2: midst of people that would pull those gifts and those

Speaker 2: talents out of us, and that will allow us to

Speaker 2: operate in those things that we are supposed to operate in.

Speaker 2: Because a lot of us we want to keep up

Speaker 2: with Sally, we want to keep up with all these

Speaker 2: different other people that's doing things, and we think that

Speaker 2: we have to do things this way, and we have

Speaker 2: to do things this way, when we truly we don't know.

Speaker 2: We only have examples, We only have, you know, our

Speaker 2: representation of those that came before us, how they've done it.

Speaker 2: But we are not the same. None of us are

Speaker 2: the same. He said, he fearfully and wonderfully made each

Speaker 2: go through We all have to experience. My walk is

Speaker 2: I think about when I'm approaching people. I used to know.

Speaker 2: let it all just come out so people can truly

Speaker 2: our own Americas. Do nobody want to talk about it,

Speaker 2: especially those that voted for our now number forty seven administration.

Speaker 2: They don't want to talk about these things. But these

Speaker 2: things are affecting us, and what are we doing individually?

Speaker 2: See a lot of us. We have that mentality that

Speaker 2: it's not affecting me. It's not affecting me directly, it's
