• 0:10
Arabia to learn about a famous football club called Al Nasser.
• 0:14
Whether you're a soccer super fan or just learning what a goal
• 0:17
is, get ready to kick off some awesome facts and stories.
• 0:21
Let's start at the very beginning.
• 0:23
You might know that soccer is called football in most
• 0:25
countries, and it's the world's most popular sport.
• 0:29
Imagine a giant playground where almost every country has its own
• 0:33
team and millions of fans are cheering from the sidelines.
• 0:37
In Saudi Arabia, one of the most popular and successful football
• 0:41
clubs is Al Nasser. Now, what does Al Nasser mean?
• 0:45
In Arabic, Al Nasser means the victory.
• 0:48
Pretty cool, right? It's like naming your school
• 0:51
soccer team the winners or the Champions.
• 0:54
When you hear the name Al Nasser, you know they're aiming
• 0:57
for the top. Al Nasser Football Club was
• 1:00
founded way back in 1955. That's almost 70 years ago.
• 1:05
Picture this. Back then, your grandparents or
• 1:08
even great grandparents might have been kids just like you.
• 1:11
Al Nasser started as a small team in Riyadh, the capital city
• 1:14
of Saudi Arabia. Think of Riyadh as the heart of
• 1:17
the country. Just like the heart pumps blood
• 1:19
to all parts of your body, Riyadh is where many big things
• 1:23
happen in Saudi Arabia. At first, Al Nasser was just a
• 1:26
group of friends who loved playing soccer together.
• 1:29
They didn't have fancy uniforms or a big stadium.
• 1:32
It was just about having fun and playing the game.
• 1:35
But as more people heard about the team, it started growing.
• 1:38
More players joined, and soon Al Nasser became a club that
• 1:43
everyone wanted to play for. Today, Al Nasser is one of the
• 1:47
most successful and popular football clubs in Saudi Arabia
• 1:50
and the entire Middle East. Imagine if your school soccer
• 1:54
team became so famous that people from all over the world
• 1:57
came to watch you play. That's what happened to Al
• 1:59
Nasser. Let's talk about their colors
• 2:02
and mascot because every great team needs a cool look, right?
• 2:05
Al Nasser's colors are yellow and blue.
• 2:08
Imagine a bright yellow sun shining in a clear blue sky.
• 2:12
That's what their uniforms remind people of.
• 2:15
Their mascot is a Falcon, a bird known for its speed and sharp
• 2:19
vision. Falcons are special in Saudi
• 2:22
Arabia, and they symbolize power, courage, and pride, just
• 2:26
like the players on the team. Now you might wonder, where do
• 2:29
they play their home games? Al Nasser's home is Mersoul
• 2:33
Park, a big stadium in Riyadh. This stadium can hold over
• 2:37
25,000 fans. That's like filling up a whole
• 2:40
neighborhood with cheering people when there's a big game.
• 2:44
The stands are full of yellow and blue, and fans wave flags,
• 2:48
sing songs and make lots of noise to support their team.
• 2:51
Let's talk trophies. Al Nasser has won lots of them.
• 2:55
In soccer, teams compete in different competitions to win
• 2:59
cups and titles, kind of like winning medals at a school
• 3:02
sports day. Al Nasser has won the Saudi
• 3:04
Professional League, which is the biggest league in Saudi
• 3:07
Arabia many times. They've also won the Kings Cup,
• 3:11
the Crown Princess Cup and even international trophies.
• 3:15
Each trophy tells a story of hard work, teamwork and never
• 3:19
giving up. Did you know that Al Nasser made
• 3:22
history by being the first Asian club to play in the FIFA Club
• 3:25
World Cup? That's a tournament where the
• 3:27
best teams from each continent compete to find out who's the
• 3:31
best in the world. It's like the Olympics for
• 3:33
clubs. Al Nasser played teams from
• 3:36
other countries, showing that Saudi football can shine on the
• 3:39
world stage. Now, let's meet some of the
• 3:41
famous players who have worn the AL Nasser jersey over the years.
• 3:45
Many talented soccer stars from Saudi Arabia and other countries
• 3:49
have played for Al Nasser. But one of the biggest surprises
• 3:52
happened in December 2022 when Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al
• 3:57
Nasser. You might have heard of Ronaldo.
• 3:59
He's one of the most famous soccer players in the world,
• 4:02
known for scoring amazing goals, running super fast, and doing
• 4:06
his trademark SII celebration. When Ronaldo joined Al Nasser,
• 4:11
fans all over the world started paying attention to the team.
• 4:14
It was like when your favorite superhero joins your team for a
• 4:17
  big match, suddenly everyone's watching.
• 4:20
Ronaldo brought his skills, experience, and superstar
• 4:24
energy, helping Al Nasser become even more famous.
• 4:28
But Al Nasser isn't just about one player.
• 4:30
It takes a whole team working together.
• 4:33
  Goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders and strikers.
• 4:36
Each player has a special job, just like different parts of a
• 4:39
machine or a group project at school.
• 4:42
The goalkeeper tries to stop goals, defenders protect their
• 4:45
side, midfielders pass and control the game, and strikers
• 4:49
try to score. When everyone works together,
• 4:52
that's when the magic happens. Let's take a fun Dieter and talk
• 4:56
about the fans, because every great team has awesome
• 4:59
supporters. Al Nasser's fans are called Al
• 5:02
  Nasrawi's. They are super passionate.
• 5:05
Imagine your family and friends cheering for you at a school
• 5:08
game, but multiply that by thousands.
• 5:11
They sing songs, wave banners, and even paint their faces
• 5:14
yellow and blue. When Al Nasser scores a goal,
• 5:18
the whole stadium erupts with cheers like a giant wave of
• 5:21
happiness. Did you know that Al Nasser has
• 5:24
fans from all over the world? Because of famous players and
• 5:27
exciting games, people from different countries have started
• 5:31
supporting Al Nasser. Some even traveled to Saudi
• 5:34
Arabia to watch the games live. Soccer isn't just about winning,
• 5:38
though. Al Nasser also works to help the
• 5:41
  community. They organize special events,
• 5:44
teach kids how to play soccer and support good causes.
• 5:47
It's like when your school holds a charity fundraiser or helps
• 5:50
clean up the park. Al Nasser believes in giving
• 5:53
back and making a difference. Now you might be wondering
• 5:57
what's it like to train and play for a team like Al Nasser?
• 6:00
Well, the players practice almost every day.
• 6:03
They run, kick and learn new skills.
• 6:06
Sometimes they train in the hot Saudi sun, which can be really
• 6:10
tough. But just like you practice your
• 6:12
favorite sport or hobby to get better, Al Nasser's players work
• 6:16
hard so they can perform their best on game day.
• 6:19
Let's have a quick did you know moment.
• 6:21
Did you know that Al Nasser's nickname is the International
• 6:24
Club because they have players from many different countries?
• 6:27
It's like having a classroom with friends from all around the
• 6:29
  world. Everyone brings something
• 6:31
special to the team. Here's another fun fact.
• 6:35
Al Nasser's badge or logo shows a map of Arabia.
• 6:38
It's a reminder that the team represents not just a city, but
• 6:42
an entire country and its dreams.
• 6:45
The badge is like a superhero emblem, showing pride and unity.
• 6:49
Al Nasser's biggest rivals are another Riyadh team called Al
• 6:53
Hilal. When these two teams play, it's
• 6:56
called the Riyadh Derby. It's one of the most exciting
• 6:59
games in Saudi football. Kind of like when two top teams
• 7:02
from your school compete in the finals.
• 7:04
Everyone gets super excited and the stadium is buzzing with
• 7:08
energy. Al Nasser's journey over the
• 7:10
years teaches us about teamwork, perseverance and dreaming big.
• 7:15
They started small, grew bigger, faced challenges and kept going.
• 7:19
Even when they lost a game, they learned from their mistakes and
• 7:23
tried again. That's something we can all
• 7:25
remember in our own lives. Never give up and always I
• 7:28
support your teammates. So let's recap what we learned
• 7:32
today. Al Nasser is a famous football
