- 0:02Hello folks. This is Princess.
- 0:04You are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed Podcast.
- 0:07Thanks for listening. Don't forget to share with your
- 0:10friends. That's tough.
- 0:12We're in a very tough spot. I think that what we're doing
- 0:16right now is a great benefit in virtue because it's an end
- 0:20around between this whole corrupt informational system,
- 0:24media system. We claim to believe in a God who
- 0:28spoke the universe into existence and literally raised
- 0:31himself from the dead, and yet we are not going to believe that
- 0:36anything else exists in the spirit realm, even though His
- 0:39word tells us that they do. Their bodies weren't permitted
- 0:42to go to sleep like humans do, and they weren't permitted to go
- 0:47to. Heaven, so they wander the.
- 0:49Earth. You know, I've seen the eyes
- 0:51turn black to unknown tongues being spoken.
- 0:56These giants. Would live way up in the island.
- 0:59The young, Braves the young. Would hide them in the.
- 1:02They wait for one of these 12. Footers to come?
- 1:04Walking down the path. And they would jump.
- 1:06On them. And kill them and.
- 1:07Drag them back to. The village and the village.
- 1:09Would feast on the body. Then people start to get
- 1:17weapons. They start to get armor, they
- 1:19start to build cities. They start to fortify their
- 1:20cities. Now God looks down and there's
- 1:23violence everywhere. The battle, this war that we are
- 1:27at is not against each other. It's against these
- 1:30principalities and these rulers and these archons in the high
- 1:33places. It's really worthwhile to read
- 1:35the Bible yourself. Fear is one of the.
- 1:38Primary drivers of mind control. Because we have to.
- 1:42Take. Every thought.
- 1:43Captive and resist fear. You're going to have a testimony
- 1:50that is a justice case against the Kingdom of Darkness.
- 2:14Welcome back to the show, everybody.

- 4:52Are you guys ready? Let's go.
- 5:10Hello, this is Stacy Chavis with Walkworthy Ladies Ministry and
- 5:14you are listening to the Millennial Mustard Seed podcast.
- 5:20Welcome back to the show, everybody.
- 5:22I have an awesome episode in store for you guys.
- 5:26I am blessed to have Stacy Chavis Chavis.
- 5:29Am I saying that right? Chavis Yes.
- 5:33Chavis OK, I want to make sure I was pronouncing that right.
- 5:35There's my first edit for this episode, but it's a pleasure to
- 5:39have you here with me on this episode.
- 5:42We have ministered together a couple times.
- 5:45Brother Klaus, your husband, he is a mighty man of God and I
- 5:48know that. I've heard you have this
- 5:51powerful testimony and just you have some stuff to share.
- 5:54And the cool thing about the podcast is it reaches other
- 5:57people. It's amazing to see how our
- 6:00testimonies and how we just air air things out.
- 6:03You know, just we talk about how we came to Christ and what God
- 6:07has done in our life. It reaches other people.
- 6:09So I am excited to hear your story.
- 6:12Thank you for being here. Thank you for having me.
- 6:17Absolutely. So why don't you start off just
- 6:18telling us a little bit about yourself, what you're doing and
- 6:22what is going on with the Ministry right now, and then
- 6:24we'll dive into your testimony. Sure.
- 6:27Klaus and I have been married for a little over 2 years now.
- 6:32And together we travel, we evangelize, we have a ministry
- 6:37together, and we also have our own separate ministries.
- 6:41My ministry is called Walkworthy.
- 6:44It's a ladies ministry that is geared towards equipping women
- 6:49to walk in their God-given calling and purpose.
- 6:53I also am extremely passionate about medical missions, so I am
- 7:00endeavoring to do that. I'm in the process of finishing
- 7:03up medical school in hopes of soon launching the Apostolic
- 7:09Organization or the Apostolic Surgeon Organization, and that
- 7:13will be focused on Apostolic medical missions.
- 7:18I serve as a minister at my local church, and I am also the
- 7:22Global missions director at my local church, as well as a small
- 7:27group leader of a group of about eight women so heavily involved
- 7:33in ministry, very active, very passionate about disciplining
- 7:38and pouring into others, really loving, loving people, loving
- 7:42God's people and trying to do that the best way that I know.
- 7:50That is, that's powerful. I didn't know about the medical
- 7:53school. So that's super cool.
- 7:55And you're really walking and you're calling.
- 7:58And so I believe your testimony that there's other women and men
- 8:03out there right now that may be struggling and striving to hear
- 8:07what God is calling them to do, to just get clarity with all the
- 8:10different messages and signals in the world.
- 8:12Sometimes listening to somebody else's story, we can kind of
- 8:15perk up a little bit and go, wow.
- 8:18Okay. So that's similar to maybe what
- 8:20I was experiencing or that that's the way that maybe God
- 8:23was trying to actually get through to me.
- 8:25So let let's let's dive into your testimony.
- 8:28So where where were you born and raised and when did you first
- 8:32come to Christ? What was that defining moment
- 8:35where you're like, I'm all in, I'm serving the king of kings.
- 8:41I was born and raised in Tampa, FL.
- 8:44I'm actually, I'm Indian. My parents are from Trinidad and
- 8:51and so our background is religion wise.
- 8:55Our background was Hindu. So my parents are Hindu.
- 8:59I grew up as Hindu. I always knew that there was a
- 9:04God. I always believed in God.
- 9:08When it would be raining I would say ohh God is sad.
- 9:12Or if it was thundering I'd say God is angry.
- 9:15I I always knew that there was a God and even though I was a
- 9:19practicing Hindu, it wasn't ever anything that I had a a very
- 9:25deep, thorough understanding of. It was very just because it was
- 9:30my culture, and out of tradition and habit I knew a few things I.
- 9:38I really started exploring Christianity when I was in
- 9:42college. I want to say I was we had a a
- 9:47friend group of about four or five girls and most of them were
- 9:50all from different states or different parts of town, and so
- 9:54they didn't have cars. I was the only one that had a
- 9:58car in my friend group and one of our friends liked to go to
- 10:03church. And I would feel bad to just
- 10:06drop them off and not go to church.
- 10:08So I. I.
- 10:09We would all go to church together and and so that that's
- 10:14kind of how it started off. It started off in college going
- 10:19to church with my friends and that's when I really first
- 10:23started reading the word, knowing scriptures and pursuing
- 10:29a relationship with God. I got.
- 10:33I didn't get back. Okay go.
- 10:35Ahead. Well, this is all like brand new
- 10:37for me, so I didn't know this is the background.
- 10:40So real quick, how does that work with the rest of your
- 10:43family? Are you the only Christian like
- 10:46in your family? No, I'm not my great
- 10:51grandmother. She passed now, but she was
- 10:54Christian and my grandmother is Christian.
- 10:58I have also an uncle who's Christian.
- 11:01There are family members scattered throughout who are
- 11:05Christian. I wouldn't say that they're.
- 11:07I would say they're as deep in it as I am.
- 11:11My parents are not yet, but you know, I'm believing.
- 11:15I'm believing God for for their salvation for my mom and my dad
- 11:19and my sisters. And and it was, it was very
- 11:25difficult in the beginning because there were so many
- 11:29extreme changes within myself, the way I dressed or even just
- 11:36like, you know, drinking, having a drink at dinner.
- 11:39I wouldn't do that. I stopped wearing makeup and.
- 11:44And so there were a lot of changes that they didn't
- 11:47understand or agree with. And they're very strong minded,
- 11:54opinionated people. And you know, of course, well,
- 11:58you may or may not know, but in the Indian culture, there's
- 12:01heavy emphasis on wealth and money and you show that through
- 12:06jewelry and makeup and materialistic things, where as
- 12:11in Christianity, it's more about living a meek, humble lifestyle.
- 12:17And so I think that that's where the most tension grew from
- 12:22because I would get, you know, these comments from my sister
- 12:26like, well, why aren't you wearing any jewelry or where are
- 12:28your earrings? And and so there was a lot of
- 12:31persecution in the beginning that was very hard for me to
- 12:35take. Wow.
- 12:37Yeah, well, well, I know. I know from the perspective of
- 12:42like when I came to the Lord. I had to, like, reinvent myself,
- 12:47right? I had to let go of this music
- 12:49and the partying and just this culture.
- 12:52And and that was difficult because it's like you're coming.
- 12:55I was coming out of this like, you know, Pennsylvania,
- 12:58southeastern Pennsylvania, around the Philadelphia area.
- 13:00It was just the culture that I grew up in.
- 13:03It was cheese, steak, chicken fingers.
- 13:05People were smoking weed. There was a lot of house
- 13:07parties, everybody, you know, it was crazy.
- 13:09To put the kibosh on all of that and then find myself kind of
- 13:14alone and you feel like a target.
- 13:15So I can only imagine, like, just hearing, you know, you have
- 13:20this cultural impression where not everybody in your family
- 13:23even understands Christianity because at least people in the
- 13:26world, they have a concept of what Christianity is in America.
- 13:29They're like, oh, you're one of those Christians, you know,
- 13:31like, we get that all the time. But to actually like, you know,
- 13:34see that, you know, you're having this cultural difference
- 13:37where, like they're expressing. Their wealth or what they feel
- 13:40is power through, you know, like you said, jewelry or just this
- 13:45authority or this position, right, Vehicles, houses,
- 13:47whatever it is, But you have this meekness, this reserved
- 13:50power that's growing on the inside, but you don't look or
- 13:54follow them with the attire on the outside.
- 13:56So that wow, that's pretty deep now.
- 14:01What is it? What does it look like to have
- 14:03family gatherings at this point in time?
- 14:05Like, I'm just, I'm just going to ask a simple question, but
- 14:07take it from there and just, you know, dive into your testimony.
- 14:11But are they peaceable with you at this point in time?
- 14:14Like are they starting to understand the changes that are
- 14:17happening on the inside in your belief versus just comparing
- 14:20with the outside? Yes.
- 14:23So the first year was probably the most difficult.
- 14:29And and and that that's where I really faced a lot of that
- 14:33persecution and a lot of the the tensions with spending time
- 14:39together and and things of that nature because I'm very close
- 14:43with my family. I'm my older sister is
- 14:47essentially one of my best friends.
- 14:49My mom and I are very close. I'm a daddy's girl.
- 14:52I'm the baby of my family and so.
- 14:56And so it was really difficult for the first year.
- 14:59And actually I back slid. I back slid because of all the
- 15:03pressure when I first I first got baptized in Jesus name and
- 15:08filled with the Holy Ghost. February 7th, 2017.
- 15:13It was a Wednesday night. It was a midweek service.
- 15:18It was my first time stepping into an Apostolic Church.
- 15:22A previous coworker. Had made a Facebook post who
- 15:27wants to come to church? And some of the back story of
- 15:31that was I had gone through a string of bad relationships.
- 15:36I was in an abusive relationship before that.
- 15:40The guy was dating actually ended up having a stroke and
- 15:43everyone blamed me for it and and so I had already cut myself
- 15:48off from like all my friends and all the partying and going out
- 15:52and all of those things. And throughout that time I was,
- 15:58I was in medical school and then I was forced to stop and I
- 16:02started working a full time job and and so I felt really lost.
- 16:07I felt very confused. I didn't know what my next steps
- 16:11were going to be and I just wanted to go back to school.
- 16:15I just wanted to finish medical school.
- 16:18So I was really at a point in my life where, like I said, I was
- 16:22just feeling completely lost. When my coworker made that
- 16:27status, I at that time I had been searching for a a church
- 16:32because a couple weeks prior I went to a women's.
- 16:37Empowerment conference. It was like a Christian women's
- 16:40empowerment conference with one of my friends and all these
- 16:44women were talking about their church home and their church
- 16:47family and you know the significance and the impact in
- 16:51their lives of having this church family.
- 16:54And I, even though my family was there in Tampa, I still always
- 16:59felt alone and isolated. I felt like something was
- 17:04missing. And so I I after telling that
- 17:09conference, I said, well, I'm gonna find myself a church home.
- 17:13And I went on Facebook and I asked for recommendations and I
- 17:17got a whole list of recommendations.
- 17:19And I went that first Sunday to a church I visited.
- 17:24It was good, But I felt like I needed more.
- 17:28So I thought I would have to wait till the next Sunday, not
- 17:32knowing that Wednesday night was a church service.
- 17:36And I was supposed to hang out with my sister that night, but
- 17:39something was just drawing on me that I needed to go.
- 17:43So I went and the pastor preached and and so my friend,
- 17:51she sat down next to me and I just broke down crying.
- 17:58And she was asking me what, what was wrong.
- 18:01And I just told her how I felt so lost.
- 18:03And I didn't know what I was doing.
- 18:05I wasn't working. I wasn't in school.
- 18:08I just felt really lost, like I didn't know what my next steps
- 18:12would be. And I grew up as someone who
- 18:15always had a plan, always had an outline, always, you know, very
- 18:19accomplished, did well in school, always knew I was going
- 18:23to be a doctor. You know, everything had always
- 18:26been laid out for me. So this was the first time I
- 18:29really battled with something like that.
- 18:33And she talked to me about baptism in Jesus name.
- 18:37And I had been baptized before when I was in college, but it
- 18:40was one of those Friday night youth event kind of things and I
- 18:44really didn't agree to it or know what was happening.
- 18:48They just kind of said who hasn't been baptized and then?
- 18:52Took us all into the back and baptized us.
- 18:55So that was different. So so I wasn't sure what they
- 19:01said. So when she was asking me, well
- 19:04did you have you been baptized in Jesus name?
- 19:06And since I wasn't sure, my thing is like, well, I'm just
- 19:10going to do it again just to make sure.
- 19:13So I got baptized in Jesus name that night and then they said,
- 19:17do you want the Holy Ghost? And I said yes.
- 19:20And they prayed for me and I received the Holy Ghost.
- 19:24And it's an experience and a feeling that I'll never forget.
- 19:29It was like this. Electricity came up through my
- 19:32right hand and my began in my fingers and just went up through
- 19:36my arm and like across my body. And I just.
- 19:40I felt God. I like.
- 19:42I felt him and a way that I had never felt him before.
- 19:48And and it was amazing. And I felt whole.
- 19:53I felt healed. I felt joy.
- 19:56I felt peace. It it was that joy, unspeakable,
- 20:00that that so many of us talk about Nothing could get me down.
- 20:04I mean, I was go. I was still going through it.
- 20:07I still had all the same problems.
- 20:09But. I knew that I would never have
- 20:12to be alone again. I would never have to feel that
- 20:15loneliness. Something I didn't mention
- 20:18before was that I had been suicidal.
- 20:22I was suicidal when I was in college and then I was suicidal
- 20:27during that season prior to deciding to to look for a job or
- 20:32a church. Because I was talking about how
- 20:36I had this string of bad relationships and and that led
- 20:41me to you know, want to take a whole bunch of pills, you know
- 20:45just end all the pain and and just be gone.
- 20:49Because I've. I felt like it would better be
- 20:52better for me to just die than to than to live.
- 20:55How I was living. And all that pain and all that
- 20:58hurt and all the rejection and and just the the trauma that I
- 21:03had gone through in my life through like my family and
- 21:08relationships and just disappointments and hurts that
- 21:12happen. As if you go through life and
- 21:14you get older. And God he you know he instantly
- 21:19removed all of that I had. I turn.
- 21:22I turn to all the things that people turn to in the world.
- 21:26I turn to drinking. I turn to drugs, smoking, and
- 21:30and trying to numb the pain and escape reality.
- 21:34I did all of those things, but at the end of the day, you know,
- 21:38it didn't take away the pain or the hurt.
- 21:40Not like when I was filled with the Holy Ghost and it felt as
- 21:46though God came in to my broken heart and healed every every
- 21:52crack and every crevice every hole and and I felt that peace
- 21:58and that joy and and that's when things really started to change
- 22:03for me. And I mentioned that I I back
- 22:06slid. I back slid for a couple of
- 22:09months. I was in the church for about
- 22:12six months and then the pressures just became too much
- 22:17and certain things happened at church and I felt like I don't
- 22:21need to deal with this. And I left.
- 22:24And I and I kind of battled with it.
- 22:26I struggled with it. But I always prayed.
- 22:29I never stopped praying. I never stopped seeking God.
- 22:33And I would say to God, well, if it's your will for me to go back
- 22:37eventually I'll go back. And I did start to make my way
- 22:41back. I didn't fully recommit myself
- 22:47till about six months after when I started going back.
- 22:54So it's about September of the following year, September 2018.
- 22:59And for me the difference was relationship, because when I
- 23:04first got saved, I was doing all these things in the church.
- 23:07It was a smaller church and they needed help and and I had the
- 23:11time and I had the giftings and the talent.
- 23:14So of course I was going to give myself to helping, but in doing
- 23:19that, I neglected nurturing and building my relationship with
- 23:23God. And in those months that I was
- 23:26away, I I was able to pray and pursue him and grow in my
- 23:31relationship with him. Meanwhile, still being in the
- 23:34world, still going back to doing all those things I was doing
- 23:37before. But but God was with me and he
- 23:41was giving me that grace and he was building me up to go back.
- 23:46So when I went back, I was rooted in who I was.
- 23:51And because I was rooted in who I was, I knew who I was in
- 23:54Christ and who he called me to be.
- 23:57I I had a confidence now where I was, I was social and I was
- 24:03hanging out with these people. I was being used by God and
- 24:06getting all these opportunities to to testify and and to help
- 24:11start organizations and do marketing for all the churches.
- 24:16Because we're where a network of about more now but at that time
- 24:22about 27 churches and you know really helped to to do some
- 24:28vital work for the ministry of God.
- 24:30But it's it was about that balance of Mary and Martha that
- 24:35I had, you know, prayer. Prayer was prayer was vital.
- 24:40It was important to me. I made time for prayer.
- 24:43I made time for my relationships with God.
- 24:46And I saw a difference even in how I was the marketing and
- 24:50events director for my church when I first got there and and
- 24:55when I returned they asked me to come back into those positions
- 24:59and I did. And I saw such a difference
- 25:02because now everything was God. Let everything was God inspired.
- 25:07The Flyers, the colors, the events, everything was God
- 25:11working through me. And because it was God,
- 25:14everything was now fruitful. Wow.
- 25:19So yeah. That's powerful.
- 25:23That's powerful. So it's almost like.
- 25:28God get is like waking us up to Our Calling and and what does a
- 25:33good father do, right? Because like for me, the way
- 25:37that I grew up is like me and my dad didn't have the best
- 25:39relationship. You kind of was working a lot
- 25:42and going a lot and when he was around it was always like, okay,
- 25:45don't do anything wrong, walking on eggshells.
- 25:47So when I came to Christ, I came with like this, oh, I got to be,
- 25:51I got to be perfect. I can't do nothing wrong.
- 25:53And then? I'm feeling like I was going to
- 25:56get squashed like a bug when I started to backslide and and
- 25:59wrestle with things. So I hear other people's stories
- 26:02and what I'm seeing is just like, God is a good father.
- 26:06Like he's just waiting. He's like, I have a calling for
- 26:09you. I have an anointing for you.
- 26:11And like, just him seeing the finished product of Jesus Christ
- 26:15in us. No wonder why it's a double
- 26:17portion of grace when we're figuring it out, because I
- 26:20really feel like God is so patient with us.
- 26:23And and really just he, he knows how much bondage from the
- 26:27secular things that we go through, the things with our
- 26:29family, all the systematic desensitizations, the Airways,
- 26:33the frequencies of the enemy posturing himself to try to
- 26:36defeat us. We're really walking miracles,
- 26:39to be honest with you, Stacy. We're all of us.
- 26:41We're walking miracles. And then God is calling us out
- 26:44of the darkness is like, That's what keeps me in love with God
- 26:48even more, Just at like. Where I'm at right now, because
- 26:51I'm going, God, you just keep leading me closer to you.
- 26:54Like I don't bring nothing to the table.
- 26:56I'm. I'm nobody but you.
- 26:59Oh, the majesty of the king. So I love hearing.
- 27:02I love hearing that story because that's cool.
- 27:05So you're still in these roles. You're still working with
- 27:08churches. You're ministering.
- 27:10You're with the small woman's group.
- 27:12You're training up other women, which is that's so biblical.
- 27:15Women, listen to me for one second.
- 27:19When you start living godly, God is working this out in you and
- 27:22he's showing you things. We have to be willing to bury
- 27:25each other's burdens and so fulfill the law.
- 27:27We have to be willing to be like, listen, I'm going to start
- 27:29the small group never despise small beginnings.
- 27:32I learned that and a core group of of women that you're you're
- 27:37it's like a Bible study. You guys are doing a prayer meet
- 27:40and is any of that open? To, let's say if listeners
- 27:44wanted to come and join you on like a, I don't know, a zoom
- 27:47call or how do you do this? Do you do anything that's online
- 27:51as well? Cuz I know with Klaus, he has
- 27:53digital disciples ministry, he does some YouTube stuff.
- 27:56So let's talk a little bit more about your ministry.
- 28:00Yes, absolutely. It's open.
- 28:03It's open to ladies wherever whosoever will come.
- 28:09It's The group is primarily based off of Facebook.
- 28:14It's a private Facebook group, so if you just search Walkworthy
- 28:18and you send a request to join, you can join.
- 28:21I post lots of content in there. I share words of encouragement,
- 28:27upcoming events, whether they be online or in person.
- 28:32A lot of the teachings are done online, and even if you're not
- 28:37able to join the live teachings, I do the live teachings on Zoom
- 28:42For those that are not able to attend when it's live, I do
- 28:46record it and put it on YouTube as well.
- 28:49Right now we're doing a summer series, reading through the book
- 28:53The Bait of Satan, which is a study on a fence, which is I
- 28:58feel like it came directly from God to me for such a time as
- 29:03this, because we know. At in this life you will face
- 29:08offense. You know Jesus says that.
- 29:11And we know that we're in the last days and many will be
- 29:14deceived and many will be deceived because of offense.
- 29:17So I feel very strongly you know about that, that teaching that
- 29:23I'm doing. Again with everything that I do
- 29:26for ministry, it's God led, God inspired.
- 29:28I don't want to do anything of my own will or my own volition.
- 29:32So I felt led to do a summer series on the bait of Satan.
- 29:36So we're about in Week 3 right now.
- 29:40So that's what's going on with that.
- 29:43On YouTube. I'm Stacy Chavez, but you can
- 29:45find all the walk worthy videos on there as well.
- 29:49And I'm very active on social media, on my Facebook and my
- 29:53Instagram. People reach out to me for with
- 29:56questions, for mentoring or counseling.
- 29:59I also do mentorships as well and not just with ladies that
- 30:03are here, but anywhere because I know that it's hard.
- 30:07It's hard being a woman trying to do what God called you to do.
- 30:14And we're not always surrounded by strong women of faith that
- 30:19will pour into us and help us and guide us and lead us.
- 30:23Thankfully, that was not ever my story.
- 30:26I had so many women to pour into me and to guide me and lead me
- 30:31when I first started my walk. So I feel that it's only right
- 30:35that that I do, that I yeah, I'm just very passionate about
- 30:40equipping and enabling women. While the world aims to have
- 30:45women pit themselves against each other and make everything a
- 30:49competition, we know that as women of God, we should be
- 30:52praying for one another, uplifting one another,
- 30:55supporting one another. There's more than enough room
- 30:58for all of our giftings and talents, for all of our
- 31:01abilities, and we can accomplish so much more together than we
- 31:06could ever apart. Wow.
- 31:11Very well said. And that drive and that passion.
- 31:17I I love the last part that you said there's plenty of room for
- 31:20all of us and God's gifting and our ability because we there's
- 31:23just so much that we have vision and dream to come to pass,
- 31:28right. And it's like there's there's so
- 31:30many things that we know God is moving and wants to do.
- 31:33But I believe from God's perspective it involves like.
- 31:37A lot more people than are currently participating.
- 31:40So when I see somebody who's like full-fledged and feeding
- 31:44flock and and training our people and just taking that
- 31:47time, I believe that's bringing the bigger picture into focus.
- 31:51Because we're supposed to pray for more laborers, right?
- 31:57Because the harvest is is going to become more plentiful, but
- 32:01the laborers are few. And so when we're we're.
- 32:04Planting that seed and watering that seed, it's a good wage and
- 32:08God is going to get glory because he's going to cause it
- 32:10to grow. So interesting, very interesting
- 32:15story. And then I know you've came up
- 32:20here, you and Klaus, a few Times Now, and we've had some powerful
- 32:24prayers together I want you to talk a little bit about.
- 32:30What the drive and the mission is that God is is leading and
- 32:33tugging you guys too. I mean we can even talk about
- 32:37like greater than Azusa Street, right?
- 32:40That is starting to pop up now where we know God is doing
- 32:43certain things with people all around the country and and
- 32:46within the states around us, right.
- 32:50So talk a little bit about how God has been preparing you guys,
- 32:53and I mean any the good, the bad, the ugly, whatever you feel
- 32:56like sharing. But help us understand.
- 33:00So as other people start to minister and they start to go
- 33:03out and walk faith on a line of faith, maybe maybe there's
- 33:07something you can say that they can relate to A lot of people.
- 33:13When I first got saved, I think I had been saved for maybe about
- 33:18a year or two. I think I was saved for two
- 33:21years and the church that I came out of or moved from, I should
- 33:26say, when I got married, had a has a Bible school where you can
- 33:31go through all the classes and you can become a licensed
- 33:34minister. And I felt that I was called to
- 33:38become a licensed minister. So I started these classes, of
- 33:42course, with the approval and support of my lead pastor, and
- 33:46lots of people told me that I was crazy.
- 33:49You're crazy for pursuing your minister's license.
- 33:52Once you start preaching, once you start ministering, that's
- 33:55that's when the enemy really starts to go after you.
- 33:59You know, you're putting a target on your back.
- 34:03And I thought, what is stupid reason to not do what God called
- 34:07you to do? So I went ahead and I I still I
- 34:12did it. I I took all the classes.
- 34:14You know, I'm going to, I'm going to do what God called me
- 34:17to do. And if I'm doing it, I'm doing
- 34:20what God called me to do, then I know that God is going to
- 34:23protect me and he's going to see me through.
- 34:26And just like it says in James count it all joy when when these
- 34:30Childs come knowing that you are being perfected and and that
- 34:37scripture has been a caring theme in my life probably for
- 34:40the last maybe four or five years.
- 34:43And and Klaus and I were just friends when we talked about all
- 34:50the ministries we were going to have and all the things that we
- 34:53were going to do. That's really how our our
- 34:55friendship came about was talking about God and who God is
- 34:59and and all the things that we wanted to accomplish for God.
- 35:03And so we always knew that we were going to do all these great
- 35:07big things for God. And when when this year started
- 35:13and and Klaus got the vision for greater than Azusa was confirmed
- 35:19over and over and over. The word that God gave me for
- 35:24this year is unprecedented. God said he is going to do
- 35:29unprecedented things this year. And we know that Azusa started
- 35:36out of prayer meetings and we really need to get back to the
- 35:41basics of prayer meetings and seeking a move of God.
- 35:46And even with what happened at Asbury the a few months ago, it
- 35:51was birthed out of a prayer meeting.
- 35:53It was birthed out of out of a group of students tearing in the
- 35:57Lord and and we have gotten so far away from that.
- 36:03Now church services are preaching for 45 minutes and
- 36:07praying at the altar for 10 to 15 minutes, when really it needs
- 36:11to be the opposite. It needs to be praying for 45
- 36:15minutes to an hour, probably more with very minimal preaching
- 36:20and teaching. We don't really need to to do
- 36:23that much preaching, especially to the saved you.
- 36:27You preach to the boss, you teach the saved.
- 36:31And so we kind of have to correct a lot of church culture
- 36:36as it is today in America. You wouldn't think it, but there
- 36:42are so many places in the United States where people don't have a
- 36:47church, they don't have a church in their area that they can go
- 36:50to or they don't have a church in their area teaching truth.
- 36:55And so Klaus and I have a burden to go to those areas.
- 36:58You know, we go up to Pennsylvania, we go to Northern
- 37:01Virginia. There's a church that Klaus
- 37:05pastors, the pastor of that church in Louisiana.
- 37:09And I know that there are more that are going to be coming.
- 37:14And so we have such a burden for these people because they don't
- 37:17have a church that they can go to.
- 37:20They don't have a group of people to fellowship with on a
- 37:24weekly basis or someone to meet up with them and counsel them or
- 37:28pour into them. So you do have, you know, that's
- 37:32why you see these Internet famous preachers, because so
- 37:36many people now in this day and age are drawing to the Internet
- 37:39to find truth, to find teachings to be fed.
- 37:43Because they're they cannot get fed at through any other means.
- 37:48And this is vital, vital for us to answer the call.
- 37:53It's vital for us to disciple. It's vital for us to counsel and
- 37:58to pour into into others. And so we do have people that
- 38:03reach out to us on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook.
- 38:08They need counsel, guidance. We schedule zoom calls for
- 38:13prayer, for counseling and and we do all that we can do to help
- 38:19these people. And it's a beautiful thing too,
- 38:22because then we get to connect with so many different people in
- 38:25other States and other other areas and even in in other parts
- 38:29of the world. I think it was the end of last
- 38:33year, I had a girl ask if Klaus and I were going to be coming to
- 38:38Toronto anytime soon because she wanted to get baptized in Jesus
- 38:43name. And normally when they're far
- 38:46away like that, I'll try to find a church that I can connect them
- 38:49to. If not, you know, we'll find a
- 38:52way or make a way to meet them somewhere or get to them.
- 38:55That's how we met Terry Allen. We drove up there to baptize him
- 39:00and I was able to connect her to a church and she was able to get
- 39:05baptized and get get the Holy Ghost from an Instagram message.
- 39:09I mean, you can't make this stuff up, but we all we can't
- 39:13limit God, you know? And a lot of people try to limit
- 39:16God that he can't work in on certain avenues or through
- 39:20certain things. But I got saved through a
- 39:23Facebook post. I met my husband on Facebook.
- 39:27I mean, Facebook is responsible for half of my my, my ministry,
- 39:33my destiny. I mean, like, what a what a
- 39:36millennial testimony. Like, yeah, Facebook did it.
- 39:41Exactly. Oh, that's epic.
- 39:43That is. I'm so happy you're here sharing
- 39:47this story. I think there's a whole
- 39:49generation of people that agree the millennial generation are
- 39:52nodding their heads as they're listening to this.
- 39:55Yes, exactly. Yes.
- 39:59But, and I said this on another recording, I'm like, man, if the
- 40:01Apostle Paul was here, he'd be on a podcast.
- 40:04Like, he would utilize everything, right?
- 40:06He'd be writing letters. He would be out on the street.
- 40:09He'd be on a podcast. He'd be on a YouTube video.
- 40:11You would literally find him everywhere.
- 40:13You'd find him in the car yelling out the window as he's
- 40:15traveling to baptize somebody else.
- 40:17He'd be like, man, this is much better than walking.
- 40:19But and and the day and age we live in, we are using the
- 40:24enemy's Airways, right? Because the Prince of the power,
- 40:27the air, this enemy, he's got the Airways jacked up.
- 40:30He has people messed up in all types of ways.
- 40:33But we are on a battlefield and a mission field by doing what
- 40:39we're doing right now. It is, it is significant
- 40:43sometimes beyond even what I realized.
- 40:45Like I'm like, oh podcast, another episode.
- 40:47I'll pray, I'll say, God, give me wisdom.
- 40:48I'm interested in this story and I don't just release any episode
- 40:52on this platform. Like I'll I'll pray about it.
- 40:56I I try to capture what I see that's beautiful in somebody
- 40:59else. Or if I know somebody's legit,
- 41:01like, they really have the heart to be doing this.
- 41:03They're walking. They're talking.
- 41:05I try to collaborate with that person.
- 41:06Like, your story needs to be heard because, hey, we have too
- 41:10many actors. We have too many actors out
- 41:13there, and acting is never going to actually make a disciple.
- 41:16And there's no power in that. There's only people just be
- 41:19lusting over them, right? They're just, they want what
- 41:22they have. Oh, I want to be like this
- 41:24person. Oh, I want to sound like this
- 41:25person, but really we have the sons and daughters of God that
- 41:30are starting to come into position of the Eclaicia.
- 41:33We are starting to come into correct order and position by
- 41:36networking, praying, what you were saying.
- 41:39Yes, Oh my goodness, that is what we need to be doing at this
- 41:44point in time. And man, I'm enjoying this
- 41:47conversation. So let's talk about have you
- 41:52I've never asked, have you ever had a supernatural experience?
- 41:55Have you ever had a dream of vision or any anything at all
- 41:58that deals with the supernatural, like with your
- 42:01your time in the Lord or even before that?
- 42:06I've had many. I've had many.
- 42:09Supernatural. Yeah, I've had many.
- 42:12Supernatural. Both.
- 42:15Both. Both before I got saved and
- 42:18after. Yeah, okay, Are you willing to
- 42:22share? Share one from before you got
- 42:25saved and then let's talk about one after and then just just
- 42:28walk us into it. Share as much as you wanna share
- 42:32what happened. Well the before I got saved.
- 42:39I won't go into too too too many details but.
- 42:43We know with Hinduism and in the West Indian culture there's
- 42:52voodoo like practices and you know very what we know now or
- 42:59what I know now to be witchcraft.
- 43:02And so that had gone on. And I just recall always being a
- 43:08person of prayer. You know, I always gave myself
- 43:11to prayer and fasting and things of that nature.
- 43:15And in Hinduism we have what is equivalent to a pastor or priest
- 43:21and what it's called a pundit and.
- 43:25We you can get these readings and they're kind of like
- 43:28astrological readings, I suppose.
- 43:31I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it, but a cousin of mine who
- 43:37I consider like a brother. Had got a reading for me from
- 43:41his pundit and they told him that someone had a a doll of me
- 43:49like a a I guess like a voodoo doll of me and that it had so
- 43:55many pins in its in its head that you couldn't even see its
- 44:00face. And I believe that this was
- 44:03around the time that I was just starting college and I was going
- 44:08through a lot of. Difficulties transitioning and
- 44:12things like that. Which is why I believe that I
- 44:14reached out for the reading to try to understand what was going
- 44:17on and I was told to go on a fast which and Hinduism fasting
- 44:22is basically like a Daniels fast where you just don't eat meat.
- 44:27And I remember being in my room one night and it was like these
- 44:34black. Ghost like figures were just
- 44:39like swirling in a circle above my bed and I was so scared I
- 44:46just hid under my covers. And I had never experienced
- 44:51anything like that before till this day.
- 44:54I'm not entirely sure you know what was happening or what was
- 44:58going on, but apparently there was a person who was wishing
- 45:03evil upon me and wanting me to take my life.
- 45:09Which did happen. I I did find out afterwards
- 45:13like, 'cause I mentioned that I had, you know, battled with
- 45:17being suicidal and my freshman going into sophomore year of
- 45:23college. I went through some things and
- 45:27and I had a very big bottle of Motrin and I took a lot of those
- 45:33pills. I ended up telling one of my
- 45:37friends. And they took me to the
- 45:40hospital. I had to get my stomach pumped.
- 45:43I ended up at Jackson Crisis Center, 'cause I went to College
- 45:46in Miami, So I was in that area. They wouldn't let me out.
- 45:51My dad had to come pick me up. It was a horrible experience.
- 45:56It was so horrible. I was like, I will never do that
- 46:01ever again. Just for the mere fact of like
- 46:03all the things that you have to go through after you attempt to
- 46:07suicide on your life. And so after the fact, I had
- 46:10found out, yeah, this person wanted you to kill yourself.
- 46:15And I said, oh wow, cuz I actually did try.
- 46:19And it's just crazy how? Yeah, it's crazy how Like
- 46:24everything is spiritual. You know, whether you see,
- 46:27whether you see how it's related in the spiritual or not,
- 46:31everything is spiritual, saved or not, everything has spiritual
- 46:36implications. So Stacy, you've been through a
- 46:40lot and you've dealt with a lot of supernatural encounters and
- 46:44just you know the attempt on your life.
- 46:46But the Providence of God and God's hand and plan for your
- 46:49life is really, it's this victory story.
- 46:53It's a story about overcoming and it's a story of obviously
- 46:56the proof is there that God is using you and positioning you
- 47:00for the Kingdom. So it's just amazing to see how
- 47:03he works all things together for the good of those who are called
- 47:06according to his will and purpose.
- 47:09And this is a heartfelt story that you're sharing with us here
- 47:12on the Millennium Must Have Seed podcast.
- 47:14And honestly, I'd love for you to come back for a Part 2.
- 47:16Stacy, is this story your journey?
- 47:20Your story is really going to speak to somebody out there.
- 47:24Amen. I've always tried to use my
- 47:27testimony to help others and to allow others to.
- 47:32Help alleviate some of that that stress and burden of going
- 47:36through things that they don't have to go through by sharing my
- 47:40testimony and my my journey here.
- 47:43And hopefully I pray that it encourages whoever may hear this
- 47:48to continue pursuing God and and His call on your life.
- 47:54Because he is faithful and as the word says he will finish the
- 47:59good work that he started in you amazing.
- 48:03And if you guys have been affected by Stacy's story, it's
- 48:07it's moved you deeply. You can connect with something
- 48:10that that she's went through or just the overcoming journey in
- 48:13general. Just seeing the goodness of God
- 48:15tasting and seeing that he is good.
- 48:17How he literally can take everything that was against us
- 48:20and flip it and bring it so that it it's ammunition and power for
- 48:25us to be able to help minister to other people.
- 48:26If you guys found that to be true on this episode, you guys
- 48:30write me an e-mail. Go to the the description, the
- 48:33show notes, e-mail me. And.
- 48:35And even if you want to come on the show and you want to talk
- 48:39about something that you've been through, that's what this
- 48:41podcast is for. You know, it's for glorifying
- 48:44God, going through the difficult topics, sharing our testimonies.
- 48:49And this was a powerful 1. Stacy, thank you so much for
- 48:54being here with me on this recording.
- 48:56Thank you for having me, Rod. Absolutely.
- 48:58And you're going to come back for a Part 2.
