Transcript
- 0:05Speaker 1: This is sorry, not sorry, where we say the thing
- 0:09Speaker 1: that you're thinking, but you're just too polite to say,
- 0:13Speaker 1: all right, we're gonna die on the hill of controversial
- 0:15Speaker 1: opinion for you, so you don't have to, Angie what's
- 0:19Speaker 1: eating at you today?
- 0:20Speaker 2: If you were a couple who overshared all the time
- 0:25Speaker 2: on social media, I need you to overshare why you
- 0:30Speaker 2: broke up. If I'm enduring paragraphs of purple prose on
- 0:36Speaker 2: the romance and whimsy of your partnership with your once
- 0:40Speaker 2: in a lifetime love under a picture of you carefully
- 0:44Speaker 2: posed in matching outfits when no actual occasion is being celebrated,
- 0:50Speaker 2: then I want a detailed essay in APA format as
- 0:55Speaker 2: to why you two have called it quits. No, I
- 0:58Speaker 2: will not respect your privacy at this time, because you
- 1:02Speaker 2: posted a carousel of twenty almost identical couple photos with
- 1:07Speaker 2: the RM Drake quote.
- 1:08Speaker 3: And yes, there are over a million.
- 1:10Speaker 2: Words in our language, but for some reason, none of
- 1:13Speaker 2: them can describe the wag you make me feel.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Well.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Now I need you to use those million words and
- 1:20Speaker 2: spill the tea on why y'all broke up. If it's
- 1:23Speaker 2: too embarrassing for public consumption, I'm not a monster, DM me.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I'll keep it quiet, but I need to know. Gosh,
- 1:31Speaker 2: damn it, I hit your three month anniversary pick with
- 1:34Speaker 2: a like and a star eyes emoji.
- 1:36Speaker 3: You owe me? You feel better? Yes, well that's good.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I'm right. Don't look at me like that. I'm right.
- 1:47Speaker 3: It's very passionate.
- 1:48Speaker 1: See, I'm a man of few details, so I never
- 1:52Speaker 1: like when people break up and Corey's like, oh why, oh,
- 1:55Speaker 1: I don't.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Know, this isn't for you, Gabe. Okay, okay, sorry.
- 2:05Speaker 2: My little victory game is that Mikey and I took
- 2:09Speaker 2: the kids to.
- 2:10Speaker 3: The beach over the weekend.
- 2:13Speaker 2: We went out to Detroit Lakes and it was really fun.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Liam was very excited to build a sand castle and
- 2:21Speaker 2: to bury his Spider Man Action figure and we never
- 2:26Speaker 2: recovered him.
- 2:27Speaker 1: The things you get excited about when you're eight years old.
- 2:30Speaker 1: I'm so jacked. I'm going to bury my toy.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and then like he was like, they'll never find
- 2:36Speaker 2: him again.
- 2:36Speaker 3: You know what.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Kids and dogs are very similar, except for dogs will
- 2:41Speaker 2: never disappoint you the way your children know.
- 2:45Speaker 3: Is that true? Yeah? I don't know. I don't know. Well,
- 2:48Speaker 3: NOA got it. One of my.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Crocs once and I was pretty bummed about it. Oh yeah,
- 2:54Speaker 1: that's pretty bad.
- 2:55Speaker 3: But kids also destroy shoes, that's true. What's your little victory?
- 2:59Speaker 2: Game?
- 2:59Speaker 1: By little victory, there's just so many. From the weekend,
- 3:03Speaker 1: I will go through four rapid fire little victories.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Oh okay.
- 3:07Speaker 1: Number one, I got to play some golf with Mikey
- 3:10Speaker 1: your your man panion.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Ye.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Him and I enjoyed four hours at Edgewood Golf Course
- 3:16Speaker 1: together on Sunday, which.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Was a ton of fun. He had a blast. Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 3: it was a great time.
- 3:21Speaker 1: So and you can actually see a picture of us
- 3:23Speaker 1: on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 3:25Speaker 3: You two are so cute.
- 3:27Speaker 1: Number two, I have forever this summer been and I
- 3:32Speaker 1: get to Walmart and I forget or I get to
- 3:34Speaker 1: the store and I forget to grab it. Yeah, but
- 3:36Speaker 1: I've wanted to just hand wash Corey and Miz cars
- 3:38Speaker 1: like all summer, hey, and just like kind of relaxing
- 3:41Speaker 1: and fun to do. But it saves a couple bucks
- 3:43Speaker 1: from going through the automated no touch ones show. And
- 3:47Speaker 1: you know, there's positives and minuses to both. Obviously the convenience,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but I just wanted to do it by hand once
- 3:52Speaker 1: because when I was a kid, my job was I
- 3:54Speaker 1: got to spray the hose out there the cluck and
- 3:56Speaker 1: my dad did all the hard work. So I've washed
- 4:00Speaker 1: Corey's car on Saturday or Sunday, and then I washed
- 4:04Speaker 1: my car the next day, which was very, very relaxing.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Number two or no, what am I on three? Yes?
- 4:10Speaker 1: This is You're coming up on three? All right, fine,
- 4:11Speaker 1: this would just be my last one. Number three. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: had just the funniest interaction at the new gas station
- 4:17Speaker 1: on twenty fifth over by Davies.
- 4:20Speaker 3: I'm obsessed at this gas station. Ready.
- 4:22Speaker 1: I was going in to grab a little breakfast sandwich
- 4:25Speaker 1: yesterday and there was this older man talking to the
- 4:27Speaker 1: guy at the counter about how he would give him
- 4:30Speaker 1: fifteen million dollars if he sold him the right Power
- 4:33Speaker 1: Paul ticket.
- 4:34Speaker 3: It was just kind of a cute moment. And then
- 4:37Speaker 3: I was like, Oh, I hope you win it.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I've been trying to or whatever, because I'd bought a
- 4:40Speaker 1: couple tickets and he was just like a really sweet
- 4:43Speaker 1: old man and his wife or whatever. So that was
- 4:45Speaker 1: pretty funny yesterday. So there was a bunch of little
- 4:48Speaker 1: victories for me. With three days, there's a lot of
- 4:50Speaker 1: victories here.
- 4:50Speaker 3: Well, aren't you special?
- 4:55Speaker 1: There was this viral story of this woman who shared
- 4:58Speaker 1: her experience of her go going on a date, and
- 5:01Speaker 1: she brought it to the internet to just ask for tips,
- 5:05Speaker 1: ask for help, ask for just advice. Kind of a
- 5:08Speaker 1: lot like when we do, like, am I the problem?
- 5:10Speaker 2: Right? Oh?
- 5:10Speaker 1: Okay, I was like that, but on a big viral scale.
- 5:15Speaker 3: We'll get there one day. Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Maybe this lady was on this date and she cut
- 5:20Speaker 1: it short because the person she was on the date
- 5:22Speaker 1: with he made comments about the food she had ordered.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Oh all right.
- 5:28Speaker 1: She explained that this guy described her favorite dish, which
- 5:32Speaker 1: is beef and panadas with kimchi, as disgusting. Wow, which
- 5:38Speaker 1: is a mild thing to say when you're on a
- 5:40Speaker 1: date with someone, like, oh, what you ordered is gross.
- 5:44Speaker 2: I've I'm shocked. I feel like at an early age,
- 5:48Speaker 2: don't we learn. I know, I've taught my kids this,
- 5:51Speaker 2: don't yuck someone else's yum.
- 5:53Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, I just that's yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 2: I would have cut it short too, well. I would
- 5:58Speaker 2: have made sure I finished my but not a man.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I would have kind of show it.
- 6:03Speaker 1: When you're on a date and it's been a long
- 6:05Speaker 1: time since I've done this. But when you've got a
- 6:07Speaker 1: date with someone you don't know, don't you sort of
- 6:10Speaker 1: just let ninety seven percent of things pass right?
- 6:14Speaker 3: You just ignore it. Ill I think this guy just
- 6:18Speaker 3: had no filter something. Yeah, I don't know that.
- 6:22Speaker 2: In the grand scheme of things, it's like the biggest
- 6:24Speaker 2: red flag, but it would have rubbed me the wrong one.
- 6:26Speaker 3: Yeah, me too, for sure.
- 6:29Speaker 1: He doubled down on this, which was also a problem,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and then she ditched him. So have you ever been
- 6:35Speaker 1: on a date where there was like a comment or
- 6:37Speaker 1: even maybe even an action that just sort of rubbed
- 6:40Speaker 1: you the wrong way? It probably wasn't the worst thing
- 6:43Speaker 1: in the world, but you were like, you know what, Nah,
- 6:45Speaker 1: I don't like that. Seven oh one two eight zero
- 6:47Speaker 1: one eight seven. Have I told you this story? I
- 6:50Speaker 1: was at the Mall of America once on this date
- 6:53Speaker 1: with this girl, and.
- 6:55Speaker 3: It seemed like it was going great.
- 6:56Speaker 1: We were having fun and enjoying it, you know, and
- 6:58Speaker 1: the Mall of America is a big, giant place for
- 7:00Speaker 1: tons of basically stuff to do. Yeah, exactly, And we
- 7:06Speaker 1: walked past this victorious secret and this girl looks at me,
- 7:09Speaker 1: dead in the face and dead serious, says the wildest
- 7:12Speaker 1: thing I've ever heard someone say that doesn't know.
- 7:16Speaker 3: You very well.
- 7:17Speaker 1: We're walking by and I'm trying to kind of scoop
- 7:20Speaker 1: past it because it's like, I don't want this, is
- 7:21Speaker 1: this weird? Maybe girls don't think about it like that way,
- 7:23Speaker 1: YadA YadA YadA, So I pretend it doesn't exist. And
- 7:26Speaker 1: she's like, oh, that's Victoria's secret. My dad goes in
- 7:29Speaker 1: there and helps me pick out like outfits. I'm sorry
- 7:34Speaker 1: what I immediately just like got kind of a yucky
- 7:40Speaker 1: feeling and like she had added her mom goes in there,
- 7:45Speaker 1: like they go in there's like family.
- 7:47Speaker 3: I was very weird. Was a problem?
- 7:50Speaker 1: Yeah, And I abruptly, not within the next thirty seven seconds,
- 7:55Speaker 1: decided it's about.
- 7:56Speaker 3: Time to go home to have your further Yeah, very
- 8:00Speaker 3: very weird. One of the weirdest things I've ever heard.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Disgusting, and I'm glad that you did not end up
- 8:06Speaker 2: with this woman. Ill thanks, And also she should go
- 8:10Speaker 2: to therapy. There's something I hate that that really upset me.
- 8:13Speaker 2: I I've cut a date short, not because of something
- 8:16Speaker 2: he said. It was funny because you said, like, did
- 8:18Speaker 2: something rub you the wrong way? Well, it wasn't rubbing
- 8:22Speaker 2: so much as it was honking.
- 8:25Speaker 3: This man. I was on a date and he.
- 8:26Speaker 2: Literally reached across the table and honked my boob like
- 8:30Speaker 2: a horn.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Like I don't know if he thought it was gonna
- 8:33Speaker 3: go like I.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Don't know, but I was so shook and I excused
- 8:39Speaker 2: myself to go to the bathroom and then I called
- 8:41Speaker 2: my friend and he picked me up and I never
- 8:43Speaker 2: saw that man again, but like.
- 8:45Speaker 3: Bro, what are you? What are you doing? And that's
- 8:49Speaker 3: when he let the intrusive thought win. It was bad, Ashley.
- 8:54Speaker 3: What about you? Have you ever left a first date
- 8:56Speaker 3: for something? He said, you look just like my mom
- 9:00Speaker 3: did at your age, and I instantly asked for the check. No,
- 9:04Speaker 3: he did. That's edible for sure. Ill, gosh, that's girls,
- 9:09Speaker 3: all right? What about you?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Ben? I was on a date with this girl and
- 9:12Speaker 1: she says that she hates everything that.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Has to do with Star Wars and that was it
- 9:17Speaker 3: for me. I ask my friend to call me with
- 9:19Speaker 3: an emergency and I got out of there.
- 9:21Speaker 2: I'm not going to waste my time with someone who
- 9:23Speaker 2: hates something that I love.
- 9:25Speaker 3: You know what, That's fair. Ben has a point.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fair if someone said like, oh, well, I
- 9:31Speaker 2: hate Game of Thrones. It's like, okay, well and I
- 9:34Speaker 2: hate you and it's not going to work out.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Well, I you know, I'm really glad that Ben not
- 9:39Speaker 1: only stuck to his guns, but he's stuck to his
- 9:42Speaker 1: light safe. It is September second. That means it's the
- 9:51Speaker 1: start of a brand new month. And I always liked
- 9:53Speaker 1: the beginning of a brand new month, Angie, because if
- 9:58Speaker 1: you're August stunk, yeah, and or you stunk in it
- 10:02Speaker 1: all right, and it's time to shower up and make
- 10:04Speaker 1: September a great month for you, all right. Some of
- 10:07Speaker 1: the things you can look forward to in this brand
- 10:09Speaker 1: new month. The biggest, well one of the biggest ones,
- 10:12Speaker 1: in my opinion, football season is oh yes, yes, the
- 10:19Speaker 1: NDSU Buyson with a massive win over Citadel on Saturday,
- 10:23Speaker 1: thirty eight to zero.
- 10:24Speaker 3: The NFL is back this Thursday.
- 10:28Speaker 1: Football season in full swing in September, which is just fabulous.
- 10:33Speaker 2: I feel like everything is better when football is on,
- 10:36Speaker 2: even if you aren't necessarily a football fan. Something about
- 10:40Speaker 2: football season. I feel like there's something in the air.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Everything is better with football. Bet you know, deals are
- 10:46Speaker 2: better at restaurants. Yeah, yeah, I swear that's how it works.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Also in September, Spinal Tap two is out this month,
- 10:55Speaker 1: which I'm kind of looking forward to checking out. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: was a big Spinal Tap one fan in my younger day.
- 11:00Speaker 2: I am so stoked about this. So Mikey and I
- 11:03Speaker 2: we have an age gap. He's twenty two years older
- 11:06Speaker 2: than me, and so he like when this is Spinal
- 11:09Speaker 2: Tap came out what forty years ago?
- 11:12Speaker 3: He like that was live for him, right, And they.
- 11:16Speaker 2: They did a re release in theaters to like celebrate
- 11:20Speaker 2: that the new one was coming out, And so I
- 11:22Speaker 2: watched it with him like a month ago, and so
- 11:26Speaker 2: we're excited to go to the He's excited. He's like,
- 11:28Speaker 2: oh my gosh, I'm glad that you liked it and
- 11:30Speaker 2: that now we can share this new one together.
- 11:32Speaker 3: So I'm super excited.
- 11:34Speaker 1: Also, a big, Bold, Beautiful Journey, you've probably seen the
- 11:38Speaker 1: trailers for that with Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell that
- 11:40Speaker 1: is out this month. Also, the new Leonardo DiCaprio movie,
- 11:45Speaker 1: which stars in Paul Thomas Anderson's new movie Sorry, One
- 11:48Speaker 1: Battle after Another that is out this month as well.
- 11:52Speaker 1: And then there's just a ton of shows out this month.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Just to name a couple. The Office spin off The
- 11:59Speaker 1: Paper is gonna come out here in October. Only Murders
- 12:03Speaker 1: in the Building is back next Tuesday, which is a
- 12:06Speaker 1: huge show. The Emmys are this month, America's Got Talent
- 12:10Speaker 1: is out, Law and Order shows on the twenty fifth,
- 12:14Speaker 1: and the thirty seventh season of The Simpsons comes out
- 12:17Speaker 1: here in stime.
- 12:18Speaker 2: Wow. Okay, you know what came out though? Was that documentary?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Have you watched this documentary, Unknown Caller the High School Catfish.
- 12:28Speaker 3: I just watched that this past weekend with Corey.
- 12:31Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I have thirty three minutes left. I
- 12:33Speaker 2: don't want to spoil it.
- 12:34Speaker 3: For anyone that at the end of the week here.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, it's run as soon as you can watch
- 12:43Speaker 2: this documentary on Netflix.
- 12:44Speaker 3: It's so good. That's right.
- 12:45Speaker 1: And then finally, last, but certainly not least, Autumn right
- 12:49Speaker 1: around the corner. Labor Day is always kind of the
- 12:51Speaker 1: unofficial end to summer. But the first real day of
- 12:55Speaker 1: fall is Monday, September twenty second, which, if you want
- 12:59Speaker 1: to get really specific, we'll start at one nineteen here
- 13:04Speaker 1: in Fargo, So fall right around the corner. I love fall.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I think it's the best season of the year. I love,
- 13:10Speaker 1: love being able to like pants and a flannel and
- 13:13Speaker 1: get out of the shorts and stuff like that.
- 13:15Speaker 3: You're obsessed with a flannel.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I will say this is my first this will be
- 13:19Speaker 2: my first fall here. And as a desert baby. I
- 13:22Speaker 2: grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. We didn't have four seasons.
- 13:26Speaker 3: It was just hot and hotter dry.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm really excited because like the leaves change
- 13:34Speaker 2: color here.
- 13:35Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you aus trees here. Yeah, it's amazing. You
- 13:40Speaker 3: get to see a whole new eco system. Basically, I'm
- 13:43Speaker 3: really excited.
- 13:44Speaker 1: Right, So if your August stunk and you stunk in it,
- 13:48Speaker 1: there will be tons of things to look forward to
- 13:50Speaker 1: this September with Big ninety eight point seven and today
- 13:56Speaker 1: is the first day of school for a lot of
- 13:58Speaker 1: kids in Minnesota. It is also National Pierce your Ears Day.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And I was wondering seven oh one two eight zero
- 14:09Speaker 1: one nine eight seven, how old were you when you
- 14:13Speaker 1: got your ears pierced? Or how old you know was
- 14:16Speaker 1: your kid when they got their ears pierced.
- 14:19Speaker 3: We celebrate this holidays.
- 14:21Speaker 1: It's just an awareness about ear piercing, which can include
- 14:25Speaker 1: you know, the ritual and the historical aspects on this
- 14:28Speaker 1: body modification. It's one of the things practiced by people worldwide.
- 14:33Speaker 1: All right, America isn't special for ear piercing, So we
- 14:36Speaker 1: do this everywhere for various reasons. Some people do it
- 14:39Speaker 1: as a fashion statement, others do it to on or
- 14:41Speaker 1: maybe some ancestors. And then there are some people who
- 14:45Speaker 1: do it on a whim because they think it was
- 14:46Speaker 1: a clever decision. Now I would fall into that category.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Did you know this? I had? My My ears are
- 14:52Speaker 3: technically pierced. Why did you know that?
- 14:55Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 14:56Speaker 3: No, I did not. Yeah.
- 14:57Speaker 1: I was twenty one years old in college. It was
- 15:00Speaker 1: Saturday evening m.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Hmm, after you know, some bruskies.
- 15:06Speaker 1: After you know, Bush Latte or two oh all kind
- 15:09Speaker 1: and my buddy was like, oh, hey, I'm about to
- 15:11Speaker 1: I'm gonna pierce my ears. He had the little thing
- 15:13Speaker 1: from I don't know if it's Macy's or what Claares glares.
- 15:17Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:17Speaker 1: He was like, would you like if, like, if I
- 15:20Speaker 1: have extra needles or what like, do you want to
- 15:22Speaker 1: do it? And I was like no, And then he
- 15:25Speaker 1: did it, and I was like, well, yeah, light me up,
- 15:26Speaker 1: let's do it.
- 15:28Speaker 3: And so So did you ever actually wear earrings?
- 15:31Speaker 1: Oh?
- 15:31Speaker 3: Yeah, for like a year or two. Yeah, I had
- 15:33Speaker 3: both pierced.
- 15:35Speaker 2: And kind did you have studs? Did you have hoops?
- 15:38Speaker 2: Did you venture into gauging your ears?
- 15:40Speaker 1: Like?
- 15:40Speaker 3: What was the vibe for you? I just had some studs. Yeah,
- 15:43Speaker 3: some studs. Studs for a stud.
- 15:46Speaker 1: That's well fits all right, put it on your ear.
- 15:49Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying. Uh, but I stopped wearing them.
- 15:52Speaker 1: You know why because of this job I bones and
- 15:58Speaker 1: my ears with the ear I hated it. Yeah, so
- 16:02Speaker 1: I took him out and that was the end of that.
- 16:04Speaker 3: Oh that's so funny.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I this when you said it was National Pierce your
- 16:08Speaker 2: Ears Day. That is hilarious to me in that I
- 16:12Speaker 2: remember being a kid and seeing I feel like, in
- 16:14Speaker 2: every nineties sitcom if there was like a teenage girl
- 16:18Speaker 2: in it, there was the storyline that she didn't have
- 16:22Speaker 2: her ears pierced, but her friends had their ears pierced,
- 16:25Speaker 2: and then mom.
- 16:26Speaker 3: Was like, you can't get your ears pierced, toney, and
- 16:29Speaker 3: then she.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Did it secretly yep, but then the ears got infected.
- 16:34Speaker 2: And I remember watching these specifically, it was Stephanie Tanner
- 16:38Speaker 2: on Full House got her ears pierced when she was
- 16:40Speaker 2: allowed to, and she got any infections in the piercings whatever.
- 16:45Speaker 3: And I remember being so fascinated because.
- 16:47Speaker 2: As a Latina, I've had my ears pierced since I
- 16:52Speaker 2: was three months old, which is like in I don't
- 16:56Speaker 2: know if it's all Latin cultures, but definitely the Cubans
- 16:59Speaker 2: and I think Meg people too, like you have a
- 17:02Speaker 2: baby girl when she's three months, you go to the
- 17:04Speaker 2: swap meet and you.
- 17:05Speaker 3: Get her earspeers.
- 17:07Speaker 2: That was like me and my sister, Like I had
- 17:09Speaker 2: these little gold hoops when I was not even walking yet.
- 17:14Speaker 2: So I just thought that that was so fascinating. Culturally,
- 17:17Speaker 2: it's different for everyone.
- 17:18Speaker 1: It is when did you get your ears pierced? What
- 17:20Speaker 1: about your kids? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 17:23Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Another question, Hey, does your hubby or
- 17:26Speaker 1: boyfriend have his ears pierced? Do you like dudes with
- 17:29Speaker 1: ear piercings or is that maybe not your thing? And
- 17:32Speaker 1: both answers are obviously acceptable.
- 17:34Speaker 2: When I was in high school, I only I always
- 17:37Speaker 2: dated guys who had earrings. I don't know, I think
- 17:39Speaker 2: that was just the fashion then where everybody had their earspearce.
- 17:42Speaker 2: But my mom hates ear piercings on it, dude. So
- 17:47Speaker 2: I had one boyfriend who would wear the Riley Berry.
- 17:49Speaker 2: He would wear them proudly, and my mom hated it.
- 17:53Speaker 2: And then I had another boyfriend, Daniel Clark, who had
- 17:56Speaker 2: the earrings, but when he went to go see my mom,
- 17:58Speaker 2: he would take them out.
- 18:00Speaker 3: My mom was always like, see he.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Saw respect Fulanjine.
- 18:05Speaker 3: That is how you know he is a good man.
- 18:07Speaker 2: He respects your mother.
- 18:09Speaker 3: That's right.
- 18:16Speaker 1: There are some incredible movies coming out this month, or
- 18:19Speaker 1: at least.
- 18:19Speaker 3: We hope they're incredible. The trailers look great.
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, Spinal Tap two is out this month, A big, bold,
- 18:25Speaker 1: beautiful journey with Margot Robbie and Colin Farrell looks great.
- 18:29Speaker 1: And then anytime Leonardo DiCaprio has a new movie out,
- 18:32Speaker 1: I'm probably gonna check it out at some point, as
- 18:34Speaker 1: he's gonna be in one battle after another that is
- 18:38Speaker 1: also out this month. So as you're diving on in
- 18:41Speaker 1: to these movies, there is only one right answer, the
- 18:44Speaker 1: go to movie snack. You had some controversy with your
- 18:47Speaker 1: family on movie night, it sounds like this weekend.
- 18:50Speaker 2: Yeah, we were watching Freaky Friday, the one with Lindsay
- 18:54Speaker 2: Lohan and Jamie chorlis No No No, the original because
- 18:58Speaker 2: not everybody had seen it, and so I was like,
- 19:01Speaker 2: we're all gonna watch this one so that then we
- 19:03Speaker 2: can go see Freakyer Friday. And because it's that time
- 19:07Speaker 2: of the month, I finally had a sweet tooth. I'm
- 19:08Speaker 2: a salty kind of girl unless Aunt Flow is in town.
- 19:13Speaker 2: And so music to my kids' ears and Mikey's ears
- 19:17Speaker 2: was I said, we need some candy, we need some snacks,
- 19:21Speaker 2: and Mikey was like, what say less? I've been waiting
- 19:24Speaker 2: for this because he has a super sweet tooth, and
- 19:27Speaker 2: so he asked me to send him a list of
- 19:29Speaker 2: what snacks.
- 19:31Speaker 3: He should get.
- 19:32Speaker 1: I can. Why do I feel like I know where
- 19:35Speaker 1: this is going? Why do I feel like your snacks stink?
- 19:39Speaker 1: You got a bag of chips the other day that I.
- 19:41Speaker 3: Had never even heard of, Oh the hippies. Yes, do
- 19:44Speaker 3: your snacks stink?
- 19:45Speaker 1: No?
- 19:46Speaker 3: I think they're good. I think you're with me on
- 19:48Speaker 3: this one. I wanted Skittles. Oh great, that's like the yes.
- 19:52Speaker 2: That Twizzlers, not the pull in peel, the regular Twizzlers.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I think Twizzler's over red vines for sure, and then
- 20:01Speaker 2: Reese's peanut butter cups.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Okay, that's pretty good.
- 20:04Speaker 2: My kids said that that wasn't enough chocolate, that I
- 20:08Speaker 2: don't like enough chocolate. They were like, where are the Snickers?
- 20:13Speaker 2: Where are the kit Kats? Where the twigs? And Mike
- 20:17Speaker 2: did get those for the kids because he knew what
- 20:19Speaker 2: was up, but I was like, that's too much chocolate,
- 20:21Speaker 2: not into it. And so that was the big controversy
- 20:25Speaker 2: in my house that fruity candy isn't as good as
- 20:28Speaker 2: chocolate candy.
- 20:29Speaker 3: Oh see, I'm with you.
- 20:31Speaker 1: There is only one right answer other than popcorn, which
- 20:35Speaker 1: is the ultimate movie watching snack. Sorry, I got that's fine.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Skittles are by far the must have go to when
- 20:45Speaker 1: watching a movie if you're at the movie theater and
- 20:48Speaker 1: you need a little snack, a little treat.
- 20:50Speaker 3: Skittles is the only answer. That's It's so glad that
- 20:54Speaker 3: we're on the same page.
- 20:55Speaker 1: Okay, I thought you were gonna say something crazy like
- 20:58Speaker 1: Mike and ikes or something.
- 20:59Speaker 3: You know exactly.
- 21:04Speaker 1: A very very viral moment where this guy just looks horrible,
- 21:08Speaker 1: but it does have a good ending. In this story,
- 21:13Speaker 1: Game's good news of the day After winning a match
- 21:16Speaker 1: during the US Open last Thursday, this Polish Polish tennis
- 21:20Speaker 1: player named Camille. My shock, he greeted fans and attempted
- 21:23Speaker 1: to give away this hat that he was wearing to
- 21:27Speaker 1: this little boy. Now, this viral video shows this millionaire
- 21:33Speaker 1: businessman from Poland named Peter who takes the hat from
- 21:38Speaker 1: the kid and puts it in his bag, you know,
- 21:42Speaker 1: and the kids obviously pretty bummed and upset. The athlete
- 21:45Speaker 1: was unaware of the incident at the time. The tennis
- 21:47Speaker 1: player Camille, but he did later turn to social media
- 21:50Speaker 1: to try to track down the young fans.
- 21:52Speaker 3: So I saw this clip. I did not know that
- 21:54Speaker 3: the guy who took.
- 21:55Speaker 1: It was a billionaire millionaire.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah.
- 21:59Speaker 2: And he even spoke out and said basically like yeah,
- 22:03Speaker 2: to get what you want, you have to like take it.
- 22:05Speaker 3: I did. I took the hat.
- 22:06Speaker 2: That's insane, insane behavior, insane behavior.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Well, over the weekend, Camille he reunited with the boy
- 22:13Speaker 1: who identified and his name was Brock is all he
- 22:16Speaker 1: got from him, and the tennis star shook hands with
- 22:18Speaker 1: the young fan, gave him a new hat, a ton
- 22:21Speaker 1: of swag, and he shared the touching moment on social media,
- 22:24Speaker 1: writing hello world, together with Brock we wish you a
- 22:28Speaker 1: great day. And then the guy who supported the children's
- 22:32Speaker 1: sports in the past, this Camille tennis player. He did
- 22:37Speaker 1: go on to just give the kid the basically the
- 22:40Speaker 1: best day of his life. It wasn't just like a
- 22:41Speaker 1: quick two minute social media thing, Hey let's get this
- 22:44Speaker 1: on yeah, the internet, you know whatever, And so it
- 22:49Speaker 1: just very cool of him to actually recognize that that
- 22:51Speaker 1: is one of the weird rare maybe not rare, but
- 22:54Speaker 1: one of the weird things that is a positive. I
- 22:57Speaker 1: think of social media, you always hear so many bad things,
- 23:00Speaker 1: are horrible stories or thing oh yeah, you know, even
- 23:02Speaker 1: just phones in general. There's this big documentary on Netflix
- 23:05Speaker 1: right now that has basically the whole world.
- 23:07Speaker 3: Hating this one.
- 23:07Speaker 2: Mom.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just an interesting moment. So I think very cool, uh,
- 23:14Speaker 1: for social media to kind of get a w in
- 23:17Speaker 1: this situation.
- 23:18Speaker 3: Yes, thankfully.
- 23:19Speaker 2: I was shook when I saw the original story because
- 23:22Speaker 2: how dare you? So I'm glad that it came full
- 23:24Speaker 2: circle and the kid was happy.
- 23:26Speaker 3: That's right.
- 23:27Speaker 1: The world's full of nice people. If you can't find one,
- 23:29Speaker 1: you gotta be one.
