- 1:53Speaker 4: One thing Roan and I can agree on is that
- 1:55Speaker 4: a lot of our spending tends to revolve around food
- 1:58Speaker 4: and travel. Whether it's trying a new restaurant, stocking up
- 2:02Speaker 4: on groceries, or booking a trip, those purchases add up.
- 2:06Speaker 4: That's one reason the Chase Sapphire Preferred Cards stands out.
- 2:10Speaker 4: Card members can earn three X points on dining, online groceries,
- 2:15Speaker 4: gas stations and ev charging, plus five X points on
- 2:19Speaker 4: travel through Chase Travel and three X points on vacation
- 2:23Speaker 4: home rentals with top brands like Airbnb and Verbo.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Basically, it rewards a lot of the stuff that I'm
- 2:31Speaker 1: already spending money on anyway.
- 2:33Speaker 4: Exactly, and with all of these new benefits, the annual
- 2:36Speaker 4: fee is still just ninety five dollars. To learn more

- 3:00Speaker 1: Already.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Welcome back to the Son of a Boy Dad podcast.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Today.
- 3:02Speaker 5: It is July twenty first, It is nine twenty am.
- 3:04Speaker 5: Last ones out, first ones in. We are here live
- 3:07Speaker 5: from h Q three.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It does not stop.
- 3:10Speaker 6: The grindset does not stop another day. Another dollar.
- 3:15Speaker 1: What have you guys been up to since the last
- 3:17Speaker 1: time I seen you guys?
- 3:18Speaker 6: You boys were up late textan in the group chat
- 3:21Speaker 6: at one.
- 3:22Speaker 5: Of course, I was already getting like stressed out about
- 3:25Speaker 5: not being able to sleep, but.
- 3:26Speaker 1: One so you were up late too.
- 3:28Speaker 6: I had to eat. I know me too, I had
- 3:30Speaker 6: to eat.
- 3:31Speaker 4: I was hungry.
- 3:31Speaker 5: Yeah, it was.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Unfortunately I ate midnight, would you head?
- 3:36Speaker 4: I'll tell you what I ate. I mean, I had
- 3:37Speaker 4: some leftover sort of noodles, like low Maine kind of noodles,
- 3:42Speaker 4: and then I that I thought that would be enough.
- 3:45Speaker 4: I told myself that should be enough, and then it
- 3:48Speaker 4: wasn't enough. So then I had a banana and I
- 3:51Speaker 4: was like, surely that will yeah, babe, yeah, I take
- 3:53Speaker 4: that thing. But then I still sort of thought, well,
- 3:58Speaker 4: not enough. And then I went into some extremely old
- 4:02Speaker 4: Greek yogurt which I poured some cookie granola on top
- 4:06Speaker 4: of and some honey, and I just sort of ate
- 4:09Speaker 4: that until I felt sick, and then that's enough.
- 4:13Speaker 5: You know, what's a good uh Greek yogurt? What's a
- 4:16Speaker 5: good Greek yogurt snack? Do you ever have the the
- 4:19Speaker 5: peanut butter m and m's, Like they're kind of like
- 4:21Speaker 5: the Reese's pieces almost. If you ever get some of those,
- 4:26Speaker 5: throw them in a little Greek yogurt, great dessert.
- 4:30Speaker 1: We were biking home at eleven thirty last night and
- 4:32Speaker 1: we went past a Greek yogurt spot that had a
- 4:35Speaker 1: line around the block, like a double twisted line that
- 4:39Speaker 1: was three people thick at eleven thirty on a Monday night.
- 4:42Speaker 4: A Ham. I think it's called Mika. It's it's on
- 4:45Speaker 4: seventh alf Brou.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 4:47Speaker 4: Yah.
- 4:48Speaker 5: People were just lining up to get like Chabani.
- 4:52Speaker 1: To get some I've had it and that it's worth it,
- 4:56Speaker 1: he says, worth a line, well, line.
- 5:00Speaker 4: Think it all depends on how long the line is
- 5:01Speaker 4: as to whether or not it is worth it.
- 5:04Speaker 6: Yeah, at a certain point, nothing is worth it.
- 5:06Speaker 4: The frustrating part of it is that as you wait
- 5:08Speaker 4: in line, you watch all these chicks come out in
- 5:12Speaker 4: yoga pants and shit and proceed to like film their cup.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Oh yeah, they're all aspiring influencers, hitting the hot in
- 5:24Speaker 4: Vogue food spot in New York, the hard to get
- 5:28Speaker 4: Greek yogurt you know, frozen yogurt place, and you just
- 5:30Speaker 4: want to tell them, like, you're not going to make it.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Look around, see how much hotter she is than you.
- 5:38Speaker 4: You're not even tall, Like what are you doing?
- 5:42Speaker 1: Was talking about in correct and you're not. The New
- 5:45Speaker 1: York is for everybody. Person. Anyone can succeed here.
- 5:48Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, maybe if you were trying this in Milwaukee,
- 5:52Speaker 4: maybe it would fly, you'd make a splash. But here
- 5:55Speaker 4: it's too saturated. You're too late.
- 5:57Speaker 1: You're too late. I mean, everybody can't go viral correct,
- 6:00Speaker 1: everybody can't comb.
- 6:01Speaker 6: For the same cup of frozen yogurt too.
- 6:04Speaker 1: But he said the toppings of the froyo where he
- 6:06Speaker 1: said that there, that's what they always do, he said different,
- 6:10Speaker 1: saying that he's getting paid by them this place, Like
- 6:13Speaker 1: I've had some. Every time I've got fro yo, it's
- 6:15Speaker 1: always like they really focus on the toppings.
- 6:17Speaker 4: No, trust me, this is new, something different to.
- 6:21Speaker 6: Tell this pistachio. Yes, yeah, that's what I guess exactly.
- 6:25Speaker 1: How did you get it on the first How did
- 6:28Speaker 1: you know that?
- 6:28Speaker 5: Because it's a topping on everything. I said, I got
- 6:31Speaker 5: the pancakes and they had pistachio.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Unbelievable. That's a great pull from you. They got this
- 6:35Speaker 4: pistachio sort of crackle crisp, crispy crackled creamy thing that
- 6:40Speaker 4: they put they pat it on are on the outside.
- 6:44Speaker 4: And then not for nothing, the yogurt itself is the best.
- 6:48Speaker 4: It makes, you know, pinkberry and whatnot tastes like shit
- 6:51Speaker 4: pink berry.
- 6:51Speaker 5: It's a good one. That's a good pull. It was
- 6:54Speaker 5: good pankberry and then this remember, I mean all those
- 6:56Speaker 5: places sort of faded away. Yeah, frozen yogurt lost. It's
- 7:00Speaker 5: ad time. That was maybe ten years ago.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I was like, I think more than that. Yeah, it
- 7:05Speaker 1: was like twenty years ago, because.
- 7:06Speaker 5: I remember when I was a kid, they opened up
- 7:08Speaker 5: a frozen yogurt place, like right in the smack of
- 7:10Speaker 5: our town.
- 7:11Speaker 4: They had one in Cambridge that became It was the
- 7:13Speaker 4: place you'd go late at night. It was called Berry Line.
- 7:17Speaker 5: What was the one that's like like not pink It
- 7:19Speaker 5: was like the unhealthier version of pink berry sixteen handles.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Maybe that one was awesome because you could create your
- 7:26Speaker 4: own yes, yeah, and you just went nutfuck on it
- 7:29Speaker 4: and then you brought it up in the cash register
- 7:31Speaker 4: and they'd be like it's twenty eight dollars. Yeah, can
- 7:35Speaker 4: I put like two scoops of this back? And they're like, no,
- 7:37Speaker 4: you put seventeen topings in. We can't unmix the six flavors.
- 7:42Speaker 4: What are you a child? And pizza hut and pouring
- 7:44Speaker 4: your own soda?
- 7:45Speaker 1: And you definitely were a child. And I was built
- 7:47Speaker 1: four children, And some somehow they just it's like people
- 7:51Speaker 1: who can make in app purchases you're just like dude.
- 7:54Speaker 4: One time I went to one of those places and
- 7:57Speaker 4: I had rated all the loose change that I had
- 8:00Speaker 4: in a mason jar, and I paid for it with change.
- 8:04Speaker 6: Oh, it's pretty devastating.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That's depression.
- 8:06Speaker 5: We all had fun with it, I'm sure. I'm sure
- 8:09Speaker 5: the staff did.
- 8:09Speaker 4: His staff was. It was really bored and I was
- 8:13Speaker 4: the only person in there. I'm pretty sure this place
- 8:15Speaker 4: had like a sea health rating. Man, so people had stopped.
- 8:19Speaker 5: Yeah, like, it's pretty hard to have anything below like
- 8:23Speaker 5: an a health rating.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I mean, they were making the frozen yogurt the way
- 8:27Speaker 4: that they make those food blocks and snow Piercer, just
- 8:33Speaker 4: churning up the roaches, throwing them in the.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Vat squares of slop. God, that's nasty. I feel like
- 8:39Speaker 1: frozen yogurt came about in like the wheat bread era,
- 8:43Speaker 1: where it was like wheatbreads healthier than white bread. Yeah,
- 8:46Speaker 1: and then it came out like no, it's not. No,
- 8:49Speaker 1: it's like the same you're gonna seven grain. Yeah, is
- 8:52Speaker 1: healthier than ice cream? No it's not.
- 8:54Speaker 4: I think it's still it is. Definitely there's no milk
- 8:58Speaker 4: fat in frozen yogurt.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, but you're putting a sleeve of oreos on it.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah, but like what if you were just saying, like,
- 9:08Speaker 5: frozen yogurt is typically lower in calories than ice cream.
- 9:12Speaker 4: It's all about the portion size. I mean, I was
- 9:14Speaker 4: going excel, I was getting like the amount that you'd
- 9:17Speaker 4: bring home for people.
- 9:18Speaker 5: Yeah, did you go last night?
- 9:21Speaker 4: No, we just buy, just buy it. But when I
- 9:23Speaker 4: went to that place, Mika, yeah, uh, I mean it's
- 9:28Speaker 4: the toppings are just crazy. It's I think it's Israeli.
- 9:31Speaker 4: Oh interesting.
- 9:32Speaker 5: So do you guys get to the problem with the
- 9:34Speaker 5: pole the thing yourself?
- 9:35Speaker 4: You got an issue?
- 9:36Speaker 5: No, No, it's just how you don't usually hear of it.
- 9:38Speaker 5: You're not going to go now Israeli froyo place.
- 9:40Speaker 4: You're going to say you moved out of the West
- 9:42Speaker 4: because it was too close to that new Israeli frozen yogurtsh.
- 9:46Speaker 5: All my froyo places are are Mexican.
- 9:52Speaker 1: It is uh yeah, I don't know where it came from,
- 9:55Speaker 1: but I feel like there's other places in the city
- 9:57Speaker 1: that have long lines.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Maybe it's Greek. It looks Greek. It's probably Greek.
- 10:00Speaker 5: It's Greek yogurt expas we don't have a location in Astoria.
- 10:06Speaker 1: You probably have the real Greek yogurt. You probably have
- 10:08Speaker 1: some Greek guy like stirring it with his hairy foot. Yeah,
- 10:12Speaker 1: it's just thick as fuck. Yeah, some thick Greek yogurt.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Must be nice to be back in Astoria. Would you
- 10:19Speaker 1: hit to eat last night? You treat yourself to anything.
- 10:22Speaker 1: I had a burrito bowl.
- 10:23Speaker 6: I had like three bites of it and then went
- 10:24Speaker 6: to bed.
- 10:25Speaker 4: What where'd you get that at that late hour.
- 10:28Speaker 6: Some random place.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Everything was just like McDonald's or Pizza Hut or whatever.
- 10:33Speaker 5: And I was like, I can't do That's all I've
- 10:35Speaker 5: eat and in the last week, like I can't eat
- 10:38Speaker 5: this again.
- 10:38Speaker 4: That's what you eat in Vegas, bro.
- 10:40Speaker 5: The food like when you go on these trips, like
- 10:43Speaker 5: you go to the venue when you eat, all they
- 10:45Speaker 5: have is burgers and fries, and they don't let you
- 10:48Speaker 5: bring food in. So you're just so l Like at
- 10:51Speaker 5: nine am, I guess I'll do a double burger. Just
- 10:56Speaker 5: want to kill myself the rest of the day.
- 10:59Speaker 4: That's tough.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Just every day.
- 11:00Speaker 6: So I got a burrito bowl and then I had
- 11:03Speaker 6: I had a churro as well.
- 11:05Speaker 4: Oh, you had to treat myself to a church.
- 11:07Speaker 1: You ordered it, You ordered it on the way home
- 11:10Speaker 1: to tie it up.
- 11:11Speaker 5: No, because my place I don't have the phone buzzer anymore.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Oh be in the building.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That's fucking brutal. So you weren't eating till one o'clock.
- 11:19Speaker 5: Yeah, twelve thirty Jesus Christ. I mean I I literally
- 11:23Speaker 5: laid in bed and I put it right on my
- 11:28Speaker 5: I threw a couple of scoops back and passed out.
- 11:31Speaker 1: It's probably still there's gross.
- 11:34Speaker 4: Dude, You tell me you slept next to an open
- 11:36Speaker 4: burrito bowl.
- 11:37Speaker 6: No, I sealed it up, threw it away.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Did you you were making this? Yeah?
- 11:47Speaker 1: What if you rolled over?
- 11:49Speaker 5: I put it on him. I wasn't like on the bed.
- 11:52Speaker 5: It was like I was just laying in bed with
- 11:54Speaker 5: a loose burrito bowl.
- 11:55Speaker 6: Oh man, just open fucking food. I don't usually do that.
- 12:01Speaker 6: I don't typically do that.
- 12:03Speaker 1: I used to do. Burrito bowl is the worst open
- 12:05Speaker 1: food you can have in your bad Yeah, definitely, because
- 12:07Speaker 1: you'll find a pinto being too much. Yeah I did it.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Yeah, I did a you.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Had you had a long day.
- 12:16Speaker 5: I didn't eat anything, and then like I get this
- 12:18Speaker 5: weird thing where like if I don't eat enough, then
- 12:20Speaker 5: I start getting like nauseous.
- 12:21Speaker 6: Yeah, and then but it's like a quick It's a
- 12:24Speaker 6: zero to one hundred fast.
- 12:26Speaker 5: It's like you're like, man, I should probably eat something,
- 12:29Speaker 5: and then you're like, am I gonna throw up right now?
- 12:32Speaker 5: It moves quick.
- 12:33Speaker 1: My dog does that almost every morning. Oh yeah, I'll
- 12:37Speaker 1: take her on a walk before I feed her and
- 12:38Speaker 1: she'll start. Then she'll get so hungry that she starts
- 12:41Speaker 1: eating grass, and then she starts throwing up the grass
- 12:44Speaker 1: and yellow yellow throw up every morning. That's nasty spent.
- 12:50Speaker 1: The grass that she's eating too in the Brooklyn Bridge
- 12:52Speaker 1: Park has to be so pesticidal to be the most
- 12:56Speaker 1: chance turf feet of some.
- 13:00Speaker 4: Carpets the beating pudding green.
- 13:03Speaker 1: I got rid of a rolled up carpet last night
- 13:06Speaker 1: and saw it on the way out and the trash
- 13:08Speaker 1: was so fucking sad. And then after I bike back,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I saw some homeless guy dragging it down the road.
- 13:13Speaker 1: It made me so happy. Oh he got a fresh home.
- 13:16Speaker 5: Hell yeah, I love that.
- 13:18Speaker 4: Did I ever tell you guys about the time that
- 13:20Speaker 4: I put a I had a humidor of cigars a
- 13:24Speaker 4: small humanoorah? I told you about this.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Mm, I feel like I vaguely remember it, but now
- 13:29Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 13:30Speaker 4: And I had had cigars in it, where the gel
- 13:33Speaker 4: packs that keep it moist or whatever had long since
- 13:37Speaker 4: flattened and become rock hard, and there was no moisture left,
- 13:41Speaker 4: which meant that the cigars that I had in there
- 13:44Speaker 4: had also dried out to a point of being parchment paper.
- 13:48Speaker 4: And I said, well, I'm not clearly not going to
- 13:50Speaker 4: smoke these, and I just put them out on the street.
- 13:52Speaker 4: But I could see out the window and I watched
- 13:55Speaker 4: as a guy came up and he was sort of
- 13:59Speaker 4: just like, I don't think. I don't know if he
- 14:00Speaker 4: was homeless. He might have been homeless, yeah, but he
- 14:02Speaker 4: was like kind of bouncing along happy homeless.
- 14:05Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:05Speaker 4: And he saw the thing, the box, and he went
- 14:08Speaker 4: down and he opened it and he went like this
- 14:11Speaker 4: he went.
- 14:15Speaker 1: And then took it. Yeah, he couldn't.
- 14:17Speaker 4: It was like he'd opened a treasure box.
- 14:20Speaker 6: How many cigars were in it?
- 14:21Speaker 4: Eight?
- 14:22Speaker 5: I mean, it's pretty it's a pretty good find if
- 14:24Speaker 5: you're a homeless guy, it is. Yeah.
- 14:26Speaker 1: You know he was inhaling them.
- 14:28Speaker 4: Oh, without a doubt. I was probably eating them.
- 14:32Speaker 5: Yeah, probably rolling them up into single cigarettes.
- 14:35Speaker 7: Yeah, packing lips, splitting it. Oh my god, that's so nasty.
- 14:41Speaker 4: They were good cigars, I mean they were definitely. I
- 14:43Speaker 4: think they were cohebas because this was back in probably
- 14:46Speaker 4: twenty ten or something like that.
- 14:48Speaker 1: What if he knew that.
- 14:50Speaker 4: I wonder that's probably why his eyes lit up.
- 14:53Speaker 6: Yeah, cohebus.
- 14:54Speaker 1: I want to be a cigar GUYE so bad, But
- 14:56Speaker 1: you guys won't smoke them with me.
- 14:59Speaker 5: I mean I like a cigar, don't get me wrong.
- 15:01Speaker 5: It's just it's a lot, it's a meal.
- 15:05Speaker 4: I would on Now that we're recording at the dead
- 15:08Speaker 4: of night and in the crack of dawn, I think
- 15:11Speaker 4: I would be more open to it because there's no
- 15:13Speaker 4: one in the office to.
- 15:14Speaker 1: Bother cares about anyone being in the office. What is
- 15:17Speaker 1: h R gonna get on your ass? HR is the
- 15:20Speaker 1: most permissive being in this building. No one can get
- 15:25Speaker 1: fired for anything. Like you think you're going to get
- 15:30Speaker 1: in trouble for smoking a cigar during content.
- 15:33Speaker 4: I don't actually mind it. I don't think this isn't
- 15:35Speaker 4: a fear thing. This is to me, it's always just
- 15:37Speaker 4: sort of like I don't want to make Yeah, it's
- 15:39Speaker 4: a respect thing.
- 15:40Speaker 6: I mean, I'm always down to rip a stoke. Definitely
- 15:43Speaker 6: not at nine a m.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Though, that would I think if we smoke a cigar
- 15:46Speaker 5: right now, that's just days over.
- 15:47Speaker 1: If you got what about being outside? Is that?
- 15:50Speaker 6: Like?
- 15:50Speaker 5: Would you prefer to be outside for a cigar? Definitely?
- 15:55Speaker 5: Like smoking a cigar outside is great. Smoking one inside
- 15:59Speaker 5: with luorescent lights beaming down on you isn't fun.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Yeah, you'll sweat it out immediately. Yeah, yeah, you just
- 16:07Speaker 1: have it speaking through your fucking pits. I have one
- 16:11Speaker 1: in Spain. It was fucking delicious. What's the most you'll
- 16:14Speaker 1: pay for a cigar?
- 16:15Speaker 4: Twenty bucks?
- 16:16Speaker 1: Really? Well, I mean, I don't know if you're at
- 16:18Speaker 1: a nice spot.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Yeah, I guess thirty. What I mean, I don't know cigars.
- 16:22Speaker 1: I don't I deserve. I don't deserve one better than that.
- 16:24Speaker 6: I don't know the difference between like a shit cigar
- 16:27Speaker 6: and a good cigar.
- 16:27Speaker 4: Same, well yeah, same, But.
- 16:29Speaker 5: I guess I've never really smoked like an actually good cigar.
- 16:33Speaker 1: You'll pay five hundred dollars for a bottle of wine,
- 16:35Speaker 1: but only up to thirty dollars for a cigar.
- 16:38Speaker 4: I won't pay five hundred dollars for a bottle wine anymore? Yeah,
- 16:41Speaker 4: I would do that.
- 16:42Speaker 5: You've got a couple of five hundred dollars bottles though.
- 16:44Speaker 4: I do. But but that was a different time in
- 16:46Speaker 4: my life. What different me?
- 16:47Speaker 1: Now?
- 16:47Speaker 4: I just sell everything right now, I'm off floating.
- 16:51Speaker 5: You should start flipping cigars.
- 16:52Speaker 4: Can I tell you that this whole saving money thing
- 16:55Speaker 4: that I'm now completely obsessed with is the least rewarding
- 16:58Speaker 4: thing that I've ever done my life. You made the
- 17:01Speaker 4: point round did we talk about this? You were like
- 17:03Speaker 4: saving money? It's all just gone anyway, even if.
- 17:05Speaker 1: We made that, we talked about that at dinner that
- 17:07Speaker 1: one night. Yeah, it just it all goes away.
- 17:10Speaker 4: It's so fucking true. Like, even if you're saving money,
- 17:13Speaker 4: then you're right back to being like a I'm now
- 17:15Speaker 4: close on the margins again. Yeah, and I can't touch
- 17:18Speaker 4: that money because it's saved.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Yeah's gone.
- 17:21Speaker 4: It's locked away for my future generations.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it is really crazy.
- 17:28Speaker 5: And once again life is kind of cutting it close.
- 17:32Speaker 5: Yeah what are you putting it? Are you like investing
- 17:34Speaker 5: it or are you just putting it in like form?
- 17:35Speaker 4: Yeah, I just put it in. Uh, I just put
- 17:38Speaker 4: it in this Fidelity.
- 17:39Speaker 6: Account faility go. I don't know if you have the
- 17:42Speaker 6: automated one that like it invests for you.
- 17:46Speaker 4: I don't think so. I think it's managed you an
- 17:48Speaker 4: S and P man. Well, I know it's manager.
- 17:50Speaker 5: I used to because I used to have one of those.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Solid it's pretty good. Yeah, I like the Fidelity.
- 17:54Speaker 7: Tough to beat the S and P when it's doing
- 17:57Speaker 7: sixteen percent every year, unbelievable.
- 18:00Speaker 5: I just don't know if I see that happening, to
- 18:02Speaker 5: be honest, saving money. I just don't see the investments
- 18:05Speaker 5: panning out.
- 18:06Speaker 4: You don't need to send money yet?
- 18:08Speaker 5: Oh no, I do. Why future is uncertain?
- 18:14Speaker 4: Well, you've saved some money I know you have.
- 18:16Speaker 5: Yeah, Yeah, of course I'm a saver.
- 18:18Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:18Speaker 4: How much money do you have?
- 18:20Speaker 3: Never?
- 18:20Speaker 6: Would I ever tell you?
- 18:21Speaker 1: Why not?
- 18:22Speaker 5: Not?
- 18:23Speaker 4: Who I am? How come everyone's so weird about that.
- 18:25Speaker 1: I'm saying how much money they have?
- 18:27Speaker 4: No, I don't mean like if much millions of dollars?
- 18:30Speaker 4: Don't say that.
- 18:32Speaker 1: If you have millions, don't say anything.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Don't talk Harry, say you have below millions? Yeah, well
- 18:39Speaker 5: I don't have millions.
- 18:40Speaker 4: If I once I get to one hundred thousand, I'm
- 18:42Speaker 4: not going to talk about it anymore because that becomes really, uh,
- 18:45Speaker 4: tone deaf.
- 18:46Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, it has been endlessly pissing me the
- 18:49Speaker 1: fuck off. There's a trend right now where athletes are
- 18:52Speaker 1: like how did you spend your first million? Or other
- 18:56Speaker 1: athletes like JJ Reddick talking about like how ten what
- 19:01Speaker 1: ten million dollars does for an NBA player, and every
- 19:04Speaker 1: single one of them are like, well, what you don't
- 19:06Speaker 1: realize is Uncle Sam takes fifty percent off the top,
- 19:10Speaker 1: as if they're the only people who paid fucking taxes.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Due everybody pays taxes. If you work at McDonald's, you
- 19:16Speaker 1: have to fucking give a bunch of it to taxes.
- 19:18Speaker 1: If you make one hundred thousand dollars a year, you
- 19:20Speaker 1: have to give a bunch of it to taxes. Talk
- 19:22Speaker 1: about tone deaf dudes were like forty million dollars, Actually,
- 19:25Speaker 1: fucking you have to give your mom one hundred and
- 19:28Speaker 1: fifty thousand dollars car, you have to pay off a
- 19:30Speaker 1: house for your dad. It's like, shut the fuck up.
- 19:33Speaker 1: That's that is tone deaf.
- 19:35Speaker 4: That is infuriating, which reminds me I should add that
- 19:38Speaker 4: of this money that I've saved, I probably owe at
- 19:40Speaker 4: least forty percent of it for my touring revenue and
- 19:43Speaker 4: taxes at the end of the year.
- 19:44Speaker 5: Yeah, it's tough.
- 19:45Speaker 4: So this is this is not going to be well with.
- 19:47Speaker 5: Sam, Uncle Sam. That's some of a bitch.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Jef Ze talked about this man, fucking uncle Sam bro
- 19:53Speaker 1: Forty million dollars isn't shit. It's literally nothing when you
- 19:56Speaker 1: when you start breaking it down, because the agent takes so,
- 20:00Speaker 1: the business manager takes some. Your parents have a predatory
- 20:03Speaker 1: relationship with you, so they have to have some. You
- 20:06Speaker 1: need a car that's gonna depreciate in value the second
- 20:10Speaker 1: the tires hit the one. Yeah, maybe a G Wagon
- 20:14Speaker 1: is fucking infuriating.
- 20:16Speaker 5: You should buy a G Wagon.
- 20:17Speaker 6: I'm gonna sell this watch too, by the way, oh wagon.
- 20:20Speaker 4: Yeah, this was my wedding watch, so obviously I don't
- 20:23Speaker 4: need it anymore. God just you know, total total sadness
- 20:28Speaker 4: on the wrist.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Damn. Like the three hundred for what about a G
- 20:34Speaker 1: Wagon for twenty twenty two?
- 20:36Speaker 6: I thought the wagon was like one hundred.
- 20:38Speaker 4: I actually thought that these were getting these you're going
- 20:40Speaker 4: down in value.
- 20:41Speaker 5: Too, so they've almost tripled. You can get one four
- 20:46Speaker 5: one hundred. Wow, the twenty twenty two is one hundred.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I think this is a really pointless car. They look
- 20:52Speaker 4: too bad, but they are apparently they don't drive well horrible.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Every ad for them is they're they're in a fucking sand.
- 21:00Speaker 5: Yeah, no one's taking that thing too.
- 21:02Speaker 1: It never going to doom. You're not going to make
- 21:05Speaker 1: it to the dunes.
- 21:05Speaker 4: I bought a g wagon and then realize that I'm
- 21:07Speaker 4: never using it because I don't falcon anymore.
- 21:12Speaker 1: I'm not an Arabian nights.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Imagine I gave up falconry.
- 21:15Speaker 5: Imagine being in the dunes and seeing someone in like
- 21:18Speaker 5: a full blacked out Ben's truck just whipping it. You'd
- 21:23Speaker 5: be like, bro, what you shouldn't be like on a
- 21:25Speaker 5: street in like Italy somewhere.
- 21:27Speaker 1: Yeah, drifting in the dunes.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 21:30Speaker 4: Can I tell you guys a story about the weekend?
- 21:33Speaker 1: Of course?
- 21:33Speaker 4: And you know what I'm gonna do, which I've never
- 21:35Speaker 4: done before, is that I'm actually.
- 21:36Speaker 1: Gonna put on some music to set the tone.
- 21:38Speaker 4: I'm gonna set a three minute time limit because this
- 21:42Speaker 4: is going to be so specific about golf that I
- 21:45Speaker 4: want to let anyone who doesn't give a fuck or
- 21:47Speaker 4: doesn't like me to just skip ahead three minutes and
- 21:51Speaker 4: I'll keep it specifically to that. Does that sound good?
- 21:53Speaker 6: I think you set that alarm for thirty minutes.
- 21:55Speaker 4: It's gonna be three and then let zone is ready go?
- 21:59Speaker 1: Now, okay.
- 22:00Speaker 4: I played in this member guest tournament right at Oakmar
- 22:03Speaker 4: which is one of the most like premier elite clubs
- 22:06Speaker 4: in the country. They host us opens every nine years.
- 22:09Speaker 4: It's very historic.
- 22:10Speaker 1: Is this where Tom Brady was? No positive time or
- 22:13Speaker 1: positive wer you were with Tom Brady?
- 22:16Speaker 5: No, not this weekend we have everyone ever even talked
- 22:18Speaker 5: about you didn't even talk about you being with.
- 22:20Speaker 4: Tom Brading into my fucking time doesn't count. This doesn't count.
- 22:24Speaker 4: This isn't my fault. Everybody that's ron. It doesn't count
- 22:29Speaker 4: in my time.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I have a three minute timer in the middle of
- 22:31Speaker 1: your story to get to ask about the Tom Brady story.
- 22:34Speaker 4: Do you want me to stop this?
- 22:35Speaker 1: Yes? Yes? Stop pause that all right?
- 22:37Speaker 4: Well listen, I didn't use any of my time. Yes, wait,
- 22:40Speaker 4: talk about the time now everyone. Now, everyone's gonna miss
- 22:43Speaker 4: the top Brady story because they're skipping.
- 22:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:50Speaker 4: I went to that was a few weeks ago. Now,
- 22:53Speaker 4: I went to Boston right before the fourth of July
- 22:56Speaker 4: on Monday to uh to play to do an event
- 22:59Speaker 4: for Della, which you know, fuck yeah. I don't know
- 23:06Speaker 4: what else to say. I've been trying to work with Delta.
- 23:08Speaker 4: I've been trying to date Delta for ten years now.
- 23:11Speaker 4: I'll tell you you need that three sixty. No I
- 23:14Speaker 4: asked about it. What they say, They're like, even, we
- 23:18Speaker 4: don't know how one achieves.
- 23:20Speaker 1: That much bullshit? Bro, they all have it.
- 23:23Speaker 4: No, they don't. I don't think employees get it. I
- 23:25Speaker 4: think it's truly like you have to be hand selected.
- 23:29Speaker 4: It is the most elite of the elite, and you
- 23:31Speaker 4: get a handwritten note inviting you from the Seagon.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Probably if you spent a million dollars with their airline
- 23:37Speaker 1: a year, it's got to be a year.
- 23:38Speaker 4: I think that in certain markets it's easier than others.
- 23:42Speaker 4: So for example, if you fly frequently out of New York,
- 23:45Speaker 4: if New York is your home airport, you need to
- 23:48Speaker 4: achieve like two hundred thousand mputs in a year, because
- 23:52Speaker 4: there's a lot of business people that are taking four
- 23:54Speaker 4: or five first class flights to fucking Dubai or you know,
- 23:58Speaker 4: Singapore a year, and those are like twenty thousand dollars
- 24:02Speaker 4: flights that are being paid for by business. Yeah, so
- 24:06Speaker 4: those people have insane mqds and like they're achieving quintuple diamond.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Yes. I don't like that. I don't like that they're
- 24:13Speaker 1: like even we because that makes it seem like it's
- 24:16Speaker 1: like frat hazing shit. That's like the eat the eyeballs
- 24:20Speaker 1: and it's like peeled grapes.
- 24:21Speaker 4: They didn't say it in a way that was sort
- 24:24Speaker 4: of like you'll never have it. It was more like, yeah,
- 24:27Speaker 4: we don't know.
- 24:28Speaker 5: What if you were to make a cash offer, you
- 24:31Speaker 5: think they would accept. Dude, I kind of did really well.
- 24:35Speaker 4: We this deal with with Delta was like shout out Ryan,
- 24:41Speaker 4: you know, he got it for me. And basically and
- 24:44Speaker 4: Delta like came to me and or they came to
- 24:46Speaker 4: the Barceol sales team. They were like, we want to
- 24:48Speaker 4: work with Francis and he was like sure, this is
- 24:51Speaker 4: his rate. And then Ryan hit me up and he's like,
- 24:56Speaker 4: I'm sure you probably don't want to go on Monday
- 24:58Speaker 4: of our fourth of July holiday week to go play
- 25:02Speaker 4: in a golf event for Delta, right, Yeah? And I
- 25:04Speaker 4: was like, Eh, you don't know me that well golf delta.
- 25:09Speaker 1: I'm in.
- 25:10Speaker 4: And then I was like, but here's what they're willing
- 25:12Speaker 4: to pay you. And I was like, yeah, well tell
- 25:14Speaker 4: them that I will accept that rate if they bumped
- 25:19Speaker 4: me to three sixty.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Yeah, And he was like a good, that's good. I
- 25:22Speaker 5: like that.
- 25:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and he was like, okay, I'll try that. And
- 25:24Speaker 4: he went to them and said that and they were like,
- 25:27Speaker 4: we won't do that, but we'll double what we're paying him.
- 25:31Speaker 1: Wow, that's how that's how much they preect.
- 25:33Speaker 4: There is a dollar value that I know that is
- 25:37Speaker 4: at least less than what they value three sixty.
- 25:41Speaker 1: And I forget, what'd you say your raiders?
- 25:43Speaker 4: I'm not going to give this nothing.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Do they doubled the pay to not put you to
- 25:49Speaker 5: three sixty?
- 25:49Speaker 4: Correct?
- 25:50Speaker 1: From diamond?
- 25:50Speaker 4: It's fucking so it's only one step up.
- 25:53Speaker 1: But that's all it's gonna be.
- 25:54Speaker 5: I mean, it's got to be like a five hundred
- 25:56Speaker 5: thousand dollars dad. I think they protect it between diamond
- 26:02Speaker 5: and three.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I mean you can't buy it, that's for sure.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Did you see that?
- 26:05Speaker 1: Now?
- 26:05Speaker 4: When you if you achieve that, they've now got these
- 26:08Speaker 4: new thresholds. This is so fucking specific.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I've totally fallen off, by the way, I'm not I'm gold,
- 26:15Speaker 5: I'm back on price Line, back on Expedia, I'm all
- 26:18Speaker 5: over the map.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Do you know that if now they once I've achieved diamond, Right,
- 26:22Speaker 4: So if I get to fifty which which is at
- 26:24Speaker 4: twenty eight thousand mqds, Yeah, if you get to fifty
- 26:27Speaker 4: thousand mqqts, you get two more choice benefits.
- 26:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 4: Yeah, if you get to seventy five thousand, you get
- 26:33Speaker 4: two more or maybe it's one more. And then if
- 26:36Speaker 4: you get one hundred thousand mqds, you can actually gift
- 26:40Speaker 4: diamond medallion to someone else. What it's not coming to you, motherfucker.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm on.
- 26:46Speaker 4: I'm not getting to one hundred thousand. First of all,
- 26:48Speaker 4: Yeah you will, bro, No, I want you that. How
- 26:51Speaker 4: many m quds you at? That's really good man, you're
- 26:54Speaker 4: there with me. It's the same I think.
- 26:57Speaker 5: Gee, you're already diamond.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I got that way.
- 27:01Speaker 6: Where have you got from? Just Portugal? Where hasn't he gone?
- 27:04Speaker 6: He's only traveled like once in the last year.
- 27:08Speaker 4: That's not true. He flies for work all the time.
- 27:12Speaker 1: I also had to bring my family to Portugal. Yeah,
- 27:15Speaker 1: but like I had to pay for tickets for my
- 27:18Speaker 1: whole fan You guys flu Delta. Of course.
- 27:22Speaker 4: You gotta get back.
- 27:23Speaker 6: That must have been that must have been almost the
- 27:24Speaker 6: whole thing.
- 27:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 27:27Speaker 6: That's insane that you guys are both at Diamond.
- 27:29Speaker 1: I'm not sure.
- 27:30Speaker 4: Well you didn't get it because you started talking shit
- 27:32Speaker 4: about it.
- 27:34Speaker 6: I wish I was Diamond again.
- 27:35Speaker 4: So I told him. I was like, crank, crank him.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Back that you tried to bribe your way in, like
- 27:42Speaker 1: James Bond at like a card table and like there's
- 27:45Speaker 1: not enough chips. So he's like, how about this watch? Yeah? Right, Literally,
- 27:50Speaker 1: you should have offered them the ap of risk.
- 27:52Speaker 4: I thought about it.
- 27:53Speaker 5: I can't believe they didn't accept to be I'm actually
- 27:56Speaker 5: very I I really feel like that. I thought that
- 27:57Speaker 5: would have worked.
- 27:58Speaker 1: What does it get you? Can you look that up?
- 28:00Speaker 1: What is three sixty? I knew?
- 28:02Speaker 5: You get the bag tags for starters.
- 28:05Speaker 4: Yeah, you get back tags, which means that like some
- 28:07Speaker 4: World strong Man contest winner hand carries it out and
- 28:11Speaker 4: places it in your arms. You get the Porsche, you
- 28:14Speaker 4: get the port. That's the big thing is that if
- 28:16Speaker 4: you have a connecting flight, when you step off the
- 28:18Speaker 4: plane onto the jetway. They walk you down where they
- 28:22Speaker 4: would take like gate checked bags onto the tarmac, pick
- 28:26Speaker 4: you up in a Porsche, and drive you to your
- 28:27Speaker 4: next flight. So you don't have to like walk through
- 28:29Speaker 4: the terminals or switch terminals.
- 28:31Speaker 1: But like top tier upgrade priority, like they hold the
- 28:35Speaker 1: they hold the plane for you, but you can't get it. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 1: that's the thing unless you're already paying for the top tier, like.
- 28:42Speaker 6: You been upgraded.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Ever, yeah, you don't need an upgrade because you're automatically paying.
- 28:47Speaker 4: For Well that's not necessarily true. So so someone messaged
- 28:52Speaker 4: me and they had gotten it and they lived in like Milwaukee.
- 28:55Speaker 4: Yeah right, they lived in a place that was not
- 28:56Speaker 4: a Delta hut, which means they were But but he
- 29:01Speaker 4: flew every week, and he got it one year and
- 29:04Speaker 4: then did not get it the next.
- 29:05Speaker 5: I thought it would be like a lifetime not lifetime.
- 29:08Speaker 4: No, you got to achieve it every year.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Oh that's brutal.
- 29:12Speaker 4: It's the cool It's still the coolest thing in the world.
- 29:14Speaker 4: I don't know, there's nothing you can say that will
- 29:16Speaker 4: dissuade me from that. That notion. Wait, so Tom Brady, Well,
- 29:20Speaker 4: this guy had to he was everywhere he went was
- 29:22Speaker 4: two flights.
- 29:24Speaker 5: Oh, I see and so, but that was probably back
- 29:27Speaker 5: when it was the mq MS as well.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Maybe.
- 29:30Speaker 4: But but point is that like having three P sixty
- 29:34Speaker 4: was extremely helpful to him one because a lot of
- 29:38Speaker 4: his connections, he'd be late and they would literally hold
- 29:41Speaker 4: the next plane.
- 29:42Speaker 5: That's so crazy.
- 29:43Speaker 4: They're like, I'm sorry, everybody, but there's someone we can't
- 29:45Speaker 4: leave behind.
- 29:46Speaker 5: There's one person that that spends more money than all
- 29:49Speaker 5: of you do yearly combined.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Correct, and that Porsche just fishcalesway.
- 29:55Speaker 5: Yeah, I think you should be allowed to drive the
- 29:57Speaker 5: Porsche to your next game.
- 29:58Speaker 1: You should be able to drive the Yeah, why don't
- 30:03Speaker 1: you come and sit in the pilot's lap?
- 30:05Speaker 4: Real quick?
- 30:05Speaker 3: Son of a boy.

- 32:13Speaker 4: I'm at the TPC event in Boston. I didn't know
- 32:16Speaker 4: that Tom Brady was going to be there. I didn't
- 32:18Speaker 4: know that the Bobda Sports guys were going to be there.
- 32:20Speaker 4: I kind of just flew into Boston, went to my hotel,
- 32:24Speaker 4: assumed I was going to go to the course the
- 32:26Speaker 4: next day and you know, film some content by myself
- 32:29Speaker 4: basically and then come home. But as it turned out,
- 32:34Speaker 4: I got there and they were like, yeah, so you know,
- 32:38Speaker 4: feel free to take some pictures with Tom. Were you like?
- 32:42Speaker 5: Who?
- 32:43Speaker 1: Tom? Who?
- 32:44Speaker 8: I was like, thanks, yeah, Tom worked for Delta Delta
- 32:49Speaker 8: Tom And then like next thing, you know, there and
- 32:52Speaker 8: then and then I saw my cart.
- 32:54Speaker 4: I had my name on it, and I was paired
- 32:56Speaker 4: with joe Joey cold Cuts really your pal? What a treat. Yeah,
- 33:02Speaker 4: Joey's hilarious. And I was so excited because then all
- 33:04Speaker 4: of a sudden, I'm like, oh, wow, this is gonna
- 33:06Speaker 4: be fun day.
- 33:07Speaker 6: Yeah yeah, I mean you see cold Cutts here, now
- 33:09Speaker 6: the day is going.
- 33:10Speaker 4: To be getting exactly and Fat Perez and Bob and
- 33:13Speaker 4: they were all there and we were just standing around
- 33:17Speaker 4: and then like this guy who works for Delta, Like
- 33:21Speaker 4: I remember he's standing there. I don't know, there's like
- 33:23Speaker 4: fifty people there Sky Miles members that had just signed
- 33:26Speaker 4: up for this event it was free and that he
- 33:30Speaker 4: was like, all right, everybody, we hope you have a
- 33:32Speaker 4: great day. And we have a special guest and you
- 33:36Speaker 4: may know him because he's a world champion. Please welcome
- 33:41Speaker 4: Tom Brady. That's like all he said. Jesus, he didn't
- 33:45Speaker 4: really like build up the hype that much. Champion, and
- 33:48Speaker 4: out comes Tom Brady in the most beautiful clothing I've
- 33:51Speaker 4: ever seen someone wear for golf.
- 33:53Speaker 1: What was he wearing?
- 33:55Speaker 4: Like these baggy pants with like a He looked the
- 33:59Speaker 4: way that I try to look but never do.
- 34:02Speaker 5: He's definitely got like a stylist and shit now probably.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Yeah, the Laura Pianos.
- 34:07Speaker 4: Yeah, he was wearing like a light summer wool shirt
- 34:11Speaker 4: that was tucked in with no belt perfectly. And he's
- 34:16Speaker 4: you know, six foot one hundred somehow.
- 34:19Speaker 6: And was he taller than you?
- 34:21Speaker 4: I think yeah, by a couple inches. Probably. He's among us,
- 34:25Speaker 4: and he's got this gravelly's voice. And he comes out
- 34:30Speaker 4: and by the way, all these people again, there's only
- 34:33Speaker 4: fifty people there and Tom Brady's walking out, and I
- 34:36Speaker 4: kind of expected them to be like ah, but they're
- 34:40Speaker 4: golfers at a golf course, so they were just kind
- 34:42Speaker 4: of politely golf clapping and.
- 34:45Speaker 1: I'm like, wait a minute, come on people, what and
- 34:50Speaker 1: Logan Paul came and hit him with a chair over
- 34:52Speaker 1: his head.
- 34:53Speaker 4: Yeah, ran over him with a golf cart. And then
- 34:58Speaker 4: we played a hole with Tom Brady.
- 35:00Speaker 5: That's great.
- 35:01Speaker 1: How did you hit it on that hole? Yeah? In
- 35:03Speaker 1: front of the goat?
- 35:05Speaker 4: No, I mean we just did a scramble and how
- 35:09Speaker 4: was the drive? I hit the fairway with my my
- 35:11Speaker 4: t ball, but we didn't take my ball.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Did he give you an adda boy.
- 35:15Speaker 4: He said that I looked athletic.
- 35:20Speaker 5: Come on, that's pretty crazy.
- 35:22Speaker 4: Someone was like, Tom was like, how are you Tom?
- 35:26Speaker 4: He was like, can you guys play? And they were like,
- 35:29Speaker 4: FP's pretty good. And then they're like and Francis can
- 35:32Speaker 4: hit it? And Tom was like, yeah, he looks athletic.
- 35:35Speaker 4: And I went across but nope, but someone stepped on
- 35:40Speaker 4: it so he didn't hear it. I just went lookcross.
- 35:46Speaker 6: You can hear it.
- 35:47Speaker 4: There's a clip of it. I went across.
- 35:52Speaker 5: No one said anything, well.
- 35:54Speaker 6: They were onto a new subject.
- 35:56Speaker 1: It was cross.
- 35:58Speaker 4: The one good joke, the one joke that I had
- 36:01Speaker 4: was that Tom Brady's like, all right, let's do it. Uh,
- 36:04Speaker 4: why you want me? You guys want me to go first?
- 36:06Speaker 4: And they were like yeah, go ahead, and uh. He
- 36:08Speaker 4: starts walking up to the tee and he goes, does
- 36:12Speaker 4: anyone have a tea?
- 36:13Speaker 1: And I go, you.
- 36:14Speaker 4: Can use my team, mister Brady, and then he goes,
- 36:20Speaker 4: mister Brady's my father.
- 36:22Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, yeah, you know, ye, not
- 36:25Speaker 1: much you can do that.
- 36:25Speaker 4: And then he blasted his ball into the woods really
- 36:29Speaker 4: with the driving iron too, so he wasn't even like
- 36:31Speaker 4: trying to hit it crazy far or anything relatively spread
- 36:36Speaker 4: it into the woods. But he didn't care.
- 36:40Speaker 5: So he's like a full Delta guy now because he's
- 36:42Speaker 5: on the If you watch a movie on the plane, yeah.
- 36:45Speaker 6: He's an ambassador, he's of the face.
- 36:48Speaker 5: They gotta get rid. I'm gonna I'm gonna tell Tom
- 36:50Speaker 5: straight up, they got to fix that commercial.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Why it's annoying as fuck.
- 36:56Speaker 5: If you start a movie on the plane, they do
- 36:58Speaker 5: the flight attendant noise, like the bo Yeah. Yeah, ladies
- 37:03Speaker 5: and gentlemen, this is Tom speaking, And you're like.
- 37:06Speaker 1: What the pilot? Tom? Where Delta?
- 37:09Speaker 4: Tom?
- 37:10Speaker 1: Where the fuck is Tom at Delta? Tom? Well, it's
- 37:13Speaker 1: kind of like Tom.
- 37:14Speaker 6: Oh No, he's flying in that Gulf Stream five hundred.
- 37:17Speaker 4: The left window. If you look at your left window,
- 37:20Speaker 4: you'll see Delta Ambassador Tom Brady.
- 37:23Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner has kiosks or she has vending machines at
- 37:28Speaker 1: all the airports. Now there's pink Kylie Jenner vending machines,
- 37:32Speaker 1: and everybody knows Kylie Jenner has never been in a
- 37:36Speaker 1: gen pop airport, no chance. Same with Tom Brady. You
- 37:40Speaker 1: thinking that he's going on Delta flights waiting for like his.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Zone yeah, there's no change from the airports they go to,
- 37:47Speaker 5: like we don't even know what, We've never.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Heard they're underground. Yeah yeah, they're like, yeah, they don't exist.
- 37:52Speaker 1: He's getting the launch. But there's the Kylie Kylie Jenner
- 37:55Speaker 1: shit everywhere, Like, don't don't pretend that you're one of us.
- 37:58Speaker 1: We like you because you're not well.
- 38:01Speaker 4: I think I think it's just a pairing of excellence,
- 38:03Speaker 4: if we're honest, that's what it is, Tom Brady Ellen,
- 38:07Speaker 4: you're a Red Delta excellence. Let's be let's call it
- 38:11Speaker 4: like it is. Delta is the most excellent airline in America.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Here is and I've tried to find alternatives so many
- 38:18Speaker 5: times and there just isn't you know what.
- 38:21Speaker 4: I'm not letting you back.
- 38:22Speaker 6: No, but like right, you went on your the food
- 38:26Speaker 6: sucks the way shut up, all the way down to
- 38:30Speaker 6: like like I think in the air, when you're in
- 38:33Speaker 6: the air, I think it's a toss up. I think
- 38:35Speaker 6: I think Mint could compete.
- 38:38Speaker 4: Get out of here Jet Blue.
- 38:40Speaker 5: But this is the I'm saying. Once you're in the air,
- 38:44Speaker 5: Mint can compete. United can compete when you're not when
- 38:48Speaker 5: you're on the ground, Delta is far and away the
- 38:51Speaker 5: superior airline, and it's not even close.
- 38:53Speaker 1: When you're on the ground.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Bro, when you're like the customer service going to baggage claim,
- 38:59Speaker 6: there's never delay.
- 39:00Speaker 5: Like Delta's the least delayed airline by a mile, Like Bro.
- 39:03Speaker 6: Jet like that Jet Blue flight.
- 39:05Speaker 1: Like we were frontier workers that got laid off. Bro.
- 39:09Speaker 6: It was so obvious like that.
- 39:10Speaker 5: It was like, were this delayed?
- 39:11Speaker 6: And it's completely normal.
- 39:13Speaker 4: You ever see you know, when you're walking onto a
- 39:15Speaker 4: Delta plane off the jet bridge and you see all
- 39:18Speaker 4: the stickers on the side of the plane. Oh yeah,
- 39:20Speaker 4: like number one place to work. It's like the helmets
- 39:23Speaker 4: at Ohio State. It's like, yeah, we were gonna be late,
- 39:26Speaker 4: but the pilot made up the time in the air.
- 39:28Speaker 4: There's another sticker for the planet.
- 39:31Speaker 5: How is cold cuts great? I mean everyone, it was
- 39:34Speaker 5: really fun.
- 39:35Speaker 1: Try and break your balls.
- 39:36Speaker 4: Yeah, we had a good time. We those guys are
- 39:39Speaker 4: hysterical and I've known them forever. I used to work
- 39:41Speaker 4: with Bob at pro Bible. He and I had a
- 39:43Speaker 4: show together there wo And this was before like anyone
- 39:47Speaker 4: really knew who he was.
- 39:49Speaker 1: Francis.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Yeah, and then you know, next thing, you know, he's
- 39:54Speaker 4: become the number one guy on golf.
- 39:56Speaker 1: Did you see the video when they had they were
- 39:58Speaker 1: with chicklets, and like they were like trying to chirp
- 40:01Speaker 1: the chick lits guys, and the chick lits guys were
- 40:03Speaker 1: just like such an echelon above shit talkers that like
- 40:08Speaker 1: everything they said was like it was devastating. It was
- 40:11Speaker 1: so delightful and funny. Those guys are are truly the best,
- 40:15Speaker 1: but it seemed like cold cuts. It seemed like they're
- 40:17Speaker 1: solid guys.
- 40:18Speaker 4: Yeah, they're fantastic. I mean, I want to spend more
- 40:21Speaker 4: time with them. I think that they's such an interesting mix.
- 40:24Speaker 4: Fat Perez is quietly one of the most intelligent people
- 40:27Speaker 4: I've ever met in my life.
- 40:29Speaker 1: That's a sad sentence.
- 40:30Speaker 4: I have a very dear friend, one of my closest friends,
- 40:33Speaker 4: who I think I've told you about him. His family
- 40:35Speaker 4: owns a vineyard and Sonoma and he's like probably the
- 40:39Speaker 4: most like Debonair guy that I know.
- 40:42Speaker 6: To find Debonair, it's.
- 40:46Speaker 4: Like refined grooms in a masculine way, like you know. Anyway,
- 40:54Speaker 4: he was running a wine event out in the Hamptons
- 40:58Speaker 4: and he was like, Hey, I met your buddy Fat
- 41:02Speaker 4: Perez who showed up. Yeah, and this is like a
- 41:05Speaker 4: pretty insider you'd have to know people.
- 41:10Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm like, oh shit, well done, fat press fat Perez.
- 41:13Speaker 4: But he's not fat anymore either.
- 41:14Speaker 6: He's lost like a GLP ones.
- 41:17Speaker 4: Of course, I'd assume so our.
- 41:20Speaker 5: Glp ones like the future are like if glp ones
- 41:24Speaker 5: are GLP one, whatever do that's not ozembic, right.
- 41:27Speaker 1: That is ozempic is a GLP one. It's like munjaro
- 41:31Speaker 1: or we go vhy got it.
- 41:32Speaker 5: I thought I thought. I thought it was like a
- 41:34Speaker 5: completely different thing.
- 41:34Speaker 4: I didn't know that.
- 41:35Speaker 1: I think they fought. It's like a category of medicine.
- 41:39Speaker 1: It's a big YouTube thumbnail that just has ozempic with
- 41:44Speaker 1: X through fat Paraz.
- 41:47Speaker 5: So it sounds like he went o natural.
- 41:49Speaker 4: It may have done.
- 41:50Speaker 6: It looks he does. It looks like he went natural.
- 41:53Speaker 6: To be honest, I.
- 41:54Speaker 1: Mean some of the people I'm seeing in Hollywood.
- 41:56Speaker 6: You can tell, yeah very easily.
- 41:59Speaker 5: If someone when someone's head is triple the size of
- 42:01Speaker 5: the average head, yeah, it means it so SAMPI.
- 42:05Speaker 1: When their chin looks like a gardening spin because every
- 42:08Speaker 1: bit of fat underneath their jaw has they somehow disappeared.
- 42:14Speaker 1: So uh, all right, start the timer.
- 42:17Speaker 4: Well, I played golf, Yes, I played golf with them.
- 42:19Speaker 4: That was fun, and then uh shot the delta thing
- 42:23Speaker 4: and then flew home. But I want to tell you
- 42:25Speaker 4: really quickly about this weekend, and we're going to start
- 42:29Speaker 4: the timer again.
- 42:30Speaker 1: For the sake of brevity.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I went and played at Oakmont and it's a
- 42:36Speaker 4: I think it's the fifth rank course in the country.
- 42:37Speaker 4: I mean it's really sick. And in one of the matches,
- 42:41Speaker 4: the flights are such that like you get a full
- 42:43Speaker 4: point if you win a hole. There's nine in their
- 42:45Speaker 4: nine hole matches, six teams in a flight. You play
- 42:48Speaker 4: five matches, you play every team in your flight, and
- 42:52Speaker 4: you get a point for winning a hole, and you
- 42:54Speaker 4: get half a point for tying a hole, zero points
- 42:57Speaker 4: for losing a hole. So it's the second to last match,
- 43:03Speaker 4: the penultimate match, and we are playing a team and
- 43:07Speaker 4: we are every half point matters. At this point, we're
- 43:10Speaker 4: in third place and on the last hole, the ninth hole,
- 43:18Speaker 4: right our opponent had a putt for five and he
- 43:24Speaker 4: was like three and a half feet from the hole.
- 43:26Speaker 4: His partner had been back left of the green in
- 43:29Speaker 4: the rough. He flubbed his first chip. His partner didn't
- 43:33Speaker 4: see him do that. Then he chipped onto the green
- 43:36Speaker 4: and then putted down. My partner and I are both
- 43:39Speaker 4: lying three, within like four feet of the hole. Are
- 43:42Speaker 4: you following me so far?
- 43:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 43:44Speaker 4: Okay, okay, So where it's going. If either of us
- 43:47Speaker 4: makes our putt, will win the hole. That other guy
- 43:52Speaker 4: who had been off the green puts down close to
- 43:55Speaker 4: the hole. He's like a foot away, and now he's
- 43:57Speaker 4: putting in for six, which means that both my partner
- 44:00Speaker 4: and I could theoretically two putt to beat him.
- 44:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:04Speaker 4: So I said that putt's good. I gave him the putt.
- 44:08Speaker 4: I seedd that putt, it's a gimme. Hang on. When
- 44:11Speaker 4: I said that, his partner picked up his own ballmark
- 44:18Speaker 4: because he thought his buddy was lying four and I
- 44:24Speaker 4: was giving him his putt for five, which would have
- 44:26Speaker 4: made his putt irrelevant.
- 44:28Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you see what I'm saying. He was a
- 44:30Speaker 5: stroke below. He didn't realize it.
- 44:32Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:33Speaker 4: In golf, the rule is if you pick up your
- 44:35Speaker 4: ball mark at any point, you're you're seated the hole,
- 44:39Speaker 4: You're out of it.
- 44:41Speaker 3: But he was.
- 44:42Speaker 4: We were like, whoa whoa, whoa, And he was like,
- 44:44Speaker 4: oh shit, I thought he was lying five, which made
- 44:47Speaker 4: my putt meaningless. Or I thought he was lying four
- 44:51Speaker 4: and that you're giving it for five. And we were
- 44:52Speaker 4: like no, and he's like, can I put it back
- 44:55Speaker 4: down where it was? And we were like, yeah, I
- 44:57Speaker 4: guess so. And then we both because of all that,
- 45:01Speaker 4: we both missed our short putts and he made his
- 45:04Speaker 4: to tie us, and that one half point that we
- 45:06Speaker 4: would have gotten, we lost our flight by half a point.
- 45:11Speaker 1: Wow, that's brutal.
- 45:13Speaker 4: We get that two minutes forty seconds. Suck my dick.
- 45:16Speaker 1: But what about the follow up though?
- 45:17Speaker 5: Yeah, no follow up.
- 45:18Speaker 4: That's on you guys. I don't need to say anymore
- 45:20Speaker 4: if you have questions. This is the Q and A period.
- 45:24Speaker 5: How much how much money was on the line here?
- 45:26Speaker 4: Well, I mean I think that the flight winners got
- 45:30Speaker 4: I don't know, got like probably eight hundred bucks each
- 45:32Speaker 4: or something. But beyond that, you know, it's a chance
- 45:35Speaker 4: to play in the shootout, which if you win that,
- 45:38Speaker 4: you win the tournament, and you get your name on
- 45:40Speaker 4: the wall, which is immortal, immortalized. You're you're immortalized, yeah,
- 45:44Speaker 4: way forever.
- 45:46Speaker 1: How close were they to winning the shootout, like, did
- 45:48Speaker 1: you have a legitimate chance or anything can happen?
- 45:50Speaker 4: The team that won our flight, did they win the
- 45:52Speaker 4: team that we did that with, they didn't. They didn't
- 45:55Speaker 4: win the flight, but it would have given us the
- 45:57Speaker 4: half point to tie. The team that won the flight
- 46:00Speaker 4: and the team that won the flight shot out did
- 46:02Speaker 4: not win the shootout.
- 46:03Speaker 1: How much were you guys grumbling when you got back
- 46:05Speaker 1: to the to the car.
- 46:06Speaker 4: Well, we were. We were really mad at ourselves for
- 46:08Speaker 4: not like stealing our nerve and making our three and
- 46:11Speaker 4: four foot putts like we should. Fundamentally we should have
- 46:14Speaker 4: made those pluts. One of us should have made it. Yeah,
- 46:17Speaker 4: but because of the bally who it distracted us?
- 46:20Speaker 1: Who went first?
- 46:22Speaker 4: My partner was away. He had a harder putt. I
- 46:24Speaker 4: had a much easier putt and I missed mine. In fact,
- 46:26Speaker 4: I didn't even touch the hole. It was basically a
- 46:28Speaker 4: straight three foot putt and I pulled it way left.
- 46:31Speaker 6: So did you guys ever think about like reversing it
- 46:34Speaker 6: or now.
- 46:36Speaker 4: To have done that after the fact, would have see
- 46:40Speaker 4: that like would would not have been worth no point
- 46:44Speaker 4: in that Plus, at that moment, we didn't know that
- 46:46Speaker 4: the half point was going to matter, and by the
- 46:50Speaker 4: time that it did matter, it was too late.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I mean, there's a chance if you guy, if you
- 46:53Speaker 5: didn't let him put that ball.
- 46:55Speaker 4: Back down, they might have blown up completely, got ral
- 46:59Speaker 4: kil gotten angry, like just like like like.
- 47:02Speaker 1: If that guy has a mistake of like.
- 47:04Speaker 4: The last put of the match, oh, that would have
- 47:08Speaker 4: been the end of the match. And we would have
- 47:11Speaker 4: we would have said, look, dude, I'm sorry, Like we're
- 47:13Speaker 4: in a tournament. Those are the rules.
- 47:14Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what you hit sporadic with.
- 47:17Speaker 4: Well that was for a million dollars.
- 47:19Speaker 5: Yeah, the rules of the rules. People that play golf
- 47:23Speaker 5: have a hard time following the rules.
- 47:25Speaker 1: That just shows you've never played competitive golf.
- 47:27Speaker 4: Look at what happened to Bryson de Shamba this weekend.
- 47:31Speaker 4: What happened in a major. He got penalized two strokes.
- 47:35Speaker 4: It was the whole talk of the Bridge Open.
- 47:39Speaker 1: Wore bright green pants. This is two strokes.
- 47:42Speaker 6: This is one of the this is one of the
- 47:43Speaker 6: most the biggest names in golf.
- 47:46Speaker 4: I know, I know, I know, and in one of
- 47:48Speaker 4: the most important moments of golf where there's the most
- 47:53Speaker 4: eyeballs on him, and he committed a very controversial rules
- 47:57Speaker 4: in fraction that docked him two strokes, which in a
- 48:01Speaker 4: major is a lot.
- 48:02Speaker 6: I mean, that's the game.
- 48:04Speaker 4: It's like holding someone back ten seconds in a You know.
- 48:07Speaker 5: What did what did he do?
- 48:09Speaker 4: He moved his ball was in the long grass. He
- 48:12Speaker 4: did exactly what Page did basically where he went in
- 48:16Speaker 4: and he stepped on the long grass in such a
- 48:19Speaker 4: way that the rules officials deemed that he had improved
- 48:23Speaker 4: his the area around the ball.
- 48:26Speaker 5: Yeah, that's my that was my signature move back in
- 48:28Speaker 5: like that, like that right there, Like what he's doing there,
- 48:30Speaker 5: Like how he's like.
- 48:31Speaker 4: Walking around it. Yeah, yeah, you're not supposed to stamp
- 48:35Speaker 4: anything down. You gotta just naturally walk to your ball
- 48:38Speaker 4: and like.
- 48:39Speaker 1: Great acting job by him to act like he was
- 48:41Speaker 1: about to fall over.
- 48:42Speaker 5: Yeah he should fall over and start rolling around.
- 48:45Speaker 4: Look, there isn't a amateur golfer recreational golfer on earth
- 48:51Speaker 4: who has not taken a wide stance in this moment
- 48:54Speaker 4: and stepped down the grass. But when I was the
- 48:58Speaker 4: major and there's a camera three feet for your face, yeah,
- 49:00Speaker 4: that's it's tough. I'm not a fan of Bryson, So
- 49:04Speaker 4: I mean when I used to golf.
- 49:05Speaker 5: I would be like breaking branches, moving them out of
- 49:09Speaker 5: the way. I would do everything to improve my lie.
- 49:11Speaker 6: Other than move the ball. Yeah, but obviously that was
- 49:15Speaker 6: not the PGA Tour.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Well, just I'm glad that this, this big fuck up
- 49:19Speaker 1: on your part came before the Internet Invitational. Out of
- 49:23Speaker 1: your system, yeah, because.
- 49:24Speaker 5: That's not going to fly.
- 49:26Speaker 4: Oh no, for sure.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Not that money.
- 49:27Speaker 4: Yeah, we do need it. We do need it. And
- 49:29Speaker 4: by the way, when I say we need it, let's
- 49:31Speaker 4: just be honest. If I win that money, I'm leaving
- 49:35Speaker 4: you guys, know that, right, that's the end of it.
- 49:38Speaker 5: I need you not only improving your lie. I need
- 49:41Speaker 5: you sabotaging other people's lie, stepping on the ball in
- 49:45Speaker 5: the ground.
- 49:46Speaker 4: I'm going to do that. But you know what, there
- 49:48Speaker 4: wasn't any of last year at all, with the exception
- 49:52Speaker 4: of the do O D King. There was no like
- 49:58Speaker 4: yelling in someone's back swing, no farting yeah, no fake sneezing, no,
- 50:03Speaker 4: nothing none. There wasn't really that much smack talk. It
- 50:06Speaker 4: was all pretty respectful. I can't help but wonder if
- 50:09Speaker 4: this year there might not be a bit more.
- 50:14Speaker 5: I could see people like stuff. I could definitely see
- 50:16Speaker 5: people like turning it up for the cameras now just
- 50:18Speaker 5: based off how well the last.
- 50:20Speaker 6: One did and like how many views they know it'll get.
- 50:22Speaker 4: I think if someone, if someone opens that floodgate, it
- 50:26Speaker 4: will be it will turn into that.
- 50:28Speaker 6: I just wonder though, Like I think Dave has said
- 50:30Speaker 6: that that's totally allowed. Yeah, definitely, You're paying for four
- 50:33Speaker 6: million dollars and I'm on the final on the eighteenth
- 50:36Speaker 6: tea box.
- 50:37Speaker 4: Yeah, people will fucking frown at it. But I'm gonna
- 50:41Speaker 4: pull the guy's pants down. Yeah, yeah, I think it's fair.
- 50:44Speaker 5: I do feel like though, I feel like it naturally
- 50:47Speaker 5: wouldn't happen towards the end just because of how much
- 50:50Speaker 5: money is on there.
- 50:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm not gonna do it.
- 50:52Speaker 4: I wouldn't do it. Well, I'm not gonna do I'm
- 50:55Speaker 4: just not that guy. I don't know all of that.
- 50:57Speaker 5: I just feel like if you're like if you're if
- 50:59Speaker 5: you're if you're in the last two teams, like you're
- 51:02Speaker 5: not going to be thinking about You're going to be
- 51:04Speaker 5: only thinking about like your shots.
- 51:06Speaker 1: I think it depends who you're playing against. If you're
- 51:08Speaker 1: playing against Salim from Milk Boys, I think that it's
- 51:10Speaker 1: fair game to yell on his backswing.
- 51:13Speaker 4: You know who I really want to play against is
- 51:15Speaker 4: the Tyler Twoomey guy from the Oh Yeah, from Dude Perfect,
- 51:19Speaker 4: because I'm going to give him a ton of ships
- 51:21Speaker 4: stealing your video. I'm not even kidding you.
- 51:23Speaker 5: That'll be very interesting and I'm going to I feel
- 51:25Speaker 5: like he's going to be like, oh yeah, man, they
- 51:26Speaker 5: just told me to do that, Like I don't know,
- 51:28Speaker 5: I'm gonna.
- 51:29Speaker 1: I'm owned by Bisco.
- 51:30Speaker 4: So you know that he's open about having had a
- 51:33Speaker 4: porn addiction, right, No, Oh, I'm going straight to that.
- 51:37Speaker 4: Oh man, I'm like, listen, man, how much porn qualifies
- 51:42Speaker 4: as an addiction? Because I gotta be close for you
- 51:47Speaker 4: to have like come out and admitted that it was
- 51:49Speaker 4: like a problem in your life.
- 51:51Speaker 1: So crazy to admit that shit out loud. Bro, Just
- 51:54Speaker 1: keep crazy. Just keep that to yourself. Yeah, solve it.
- 51:58Speaker 5: Nothing has becomet like that has been something that has
- 52:00Speaker 5: just like risen out of nowhere that like all of
- 52:03Speaker 5: a sudden, everyone talks about publicly. Like I've seen like
- 52:07Speaker 5: videos of like of like families where they're like how
- 52:11Speaker 5: our family operates with my husband being addicted to porn
- 52:15Speaker 5: and it's like just keep this tears like.
- 52:18Speaker 1: Yeah, oh god, it's they have to go to school.
- 52:21Speaker 4: I don't think it's like got that same level of
- 52:24Speaker 4: admiration that you know, beating an alcoholism drug addiction. It's
- 52:30Speaker 4: like I knew, why did you stop porn? Well, you know,
- 52:35Speaker 4: you just get tired of waking up covered and come
- 52:38Speaker 4: you know.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Like uh yeah, just like porn magazines all around you
- 52:42Speaker 1: as you wake up like ten hours late for work
- 52:45Speaker 1: or something like that. What what could have been happening
- 52:48Speaker 1: that you were doing this so like gooning so vicious, Yeah,
- 52:52Speaker 1: and getting caught so regularly by people that are like
- 52:57Speaker 1: this is a problem.
- 52:58Speaker 4: Yeah, Like we don't get shipped for like knocking. This
- 53:00Speaker 4: is this an addiction that has the same level of sensitivity.
- 53:04Speaker 5: I don't think so well people they I don't think
- 53:06Speaker 5: it should ever be a thing where the whole family
- 53:09Speaker 5: is aware that the father has a has a perrediction
- 53:13Speaker 5: out like what's happening? Like he's They're all sitting down
- 53:16Speaker 5: for dinner and he's just like the tables just just
- 53:18Speaker 5: like slowly shaking, Like, yeah, where's dad. He's jerking off again? Upstairs?
- 53:25Speaker 5: He's in recovery though, so we'll let it happen.
- 53:27Speaker 1: He just leaning up against the TV room, fucking beating off, Like,
- 53:35Speaker 1: how is it ever affecting somebody else in your life?
- 53:38Speaker 1: That is the that is the weakest mental person that
- 53:41Speaker 1: God has created. I think it.
- 53:42Speaker 5: I think it's like, uh, I think it, like someone
- 53:45Speaker 5: said it once and then just I think. I really
- 53:49Speaker 5: think people just over are overthinking it, like everyone that
- 53:52Speaker 5: watches porn, just whether you watch it, Like I'm not
- 53:55Speaker 5: a big porn guy these days, you know, like in
- 53:57Speaker 5: my in my younger days of course, but like I would,
- 54:01Speaker 5: you just got don't think about it so much, jerk
- 54:04Speaker 5: off and then be done.
- 54:06Speaker 1: Yeah, or just don't jerk off. Like the fact that
- 54:08Speaker 1: it's like creeping into your mind at these times. Yeah,
- 54:12Speaker 1: that's not that's not like horniness. That's like performative victimhood,
- 54:16Speaker 1: because you want to be part of the class of
- 54:18Speaker 1: people that overcame something. Yeah, yeah, like, oh I beat
- 54:21Speaker 1: I beat my addiction.
- 54:22Speaker 4: I gotta believe that it's like you cross into this
- 54:25Speaker 4: thing where you're watching it and not jerking off.
- 54:28Speaker 6: I think it is that.
- 54:29Speaker 5: I think it's I've talked to someone who said that
- 54:32Speaker 5: they had like a porn problem, and they said that
- 54:34Speaker 5: it's like, uh, like the what the I think the
- 54:37Speaker 5: most common thing is that you're just like looking for
- 54:39Speaker 5: a video for like six hours straight, like finding the
- 54:44Speaker 5: right video.
- 54:45Speaker 1: Oh man, Yeah, I think I don't. I don't. I
- 54:48Speaker 1: don't know. That is weird, like Kanye would like have
- 54:51Speaker 1: it on in the studio and shit like that. But
- 54:54Speaker 1: it's like, I don't know.
- 54:55Speaker 5: I don't really get that. I mean, yeah, maybe I'm
- 54:57Speaker 5: just not horny enough to get it.
- 54:58Speaker 4: Terry Cruz openly battle the severe lifelong pornography addiction that
- 55:02Speaker 4: nearly destroyed his marriage of over three decades.
- 55:05Speaker 1: But that's like, yeah, Terry, just cheat, dude, I go
- 55:12Speaker 1: out and cheat. Bro.
- 55:13Speaker 4: I initially began using explicit material as a young teenager
- 55:16Speaker 4: to cope with an abusive father. That's an interesting way
- 55:21Speaker 4: to treat that. But the habit escalated during his NFL
- 55:24Speaker 4: and early acting careers, sometimes causing him to isolate and
- 55:29Speaker 4: hide away from up to thirteen hours.
- 55:31Speaker 5: What is that? He so? Are you sleeping? He went
- 55:33Speaker 5: to bed, he took a nap. Isolating for thirteen hours
- 55:36Speaker 5: isn't anything special?
- 55:37Speaker 4: Does anyone see all?
- 55:39Speaker 6: Just isolated for ten hours?
- 55:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it seemed to make some Hollywood shit.
- 55:43Speaker 4: Honestly, I mean I think that that one's interesting. And
- 55:47Speaker 4: then when the real one when people say, like, I'm
- 55:51Speaker 4: addicted to sex, I'm a sex addict.
- 55:53Speaker 6: You're just a bad ragging You're like, yeah, you're just
- 55:57Speaker 6: a piece of shit. We're all addicted to sex.
- 56:00Speaker 4: If we could be, do you think I wouldn't have
- 56:04Speaker 4: all the sex that I possibly can all day long?
- 56:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm not buying. I don't buy.
- 56:10Speaker 1: That's just like you cheat on your wife or a
- 56:11Speaker 1: girlfriend and don't feel bad, Like, don't feel bad enough
- 56:14Speaker 1: now now.
- 56:15Speaker 6: The only reason I'm not addicted to sex is because women.
- 56:20Speaker 1: Like won't yeah, provide it.
- 56:23Speaker 5: Yeah, you have limitations.
- 56:25Speaker 1: I need you know, you gotta gotta. I gotta.
- 56:28Speaker 4: I gotta get to know somebody. Yeah, they're not just
- 56:31Speaker 4: like dropping in on me.
- 56:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know.
- 56:34Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 56:35Speaker 5: The sex addict thing is definitely a weird one as well.
- 56:38Speaker 5: I don't know how you could be addicted to something
- 56:43Speaker 5: that involves another person.
- 56:46Speaker 1: They also, I think dudes who say they're addicted to
- 56:48Speaker 1: sex think they're the man. Oh yeah, big time, Like dude,
- 56:52Speaker 1: I just can't stop fuck I can't. I just if
- 56:55Speaker 1: I wanted to, Like I'm gonna fuck something, They're.
- 56:57Speaker 5: Gonna have to check me in some way.
- 57:02Speaker 9: I need help, Like, yeah, I fucking I think I am, dude,
- 57:12Speaker 9: I think I'm addicted.
- 57:14Speaker 4: I think. You know who someone was who was openly
- 57:16Speaker 4: admitted that they were addicted to sex was Daniel Radcliffe.
- 57:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah, I think I saw something about that,
- 57:22Speaker 5: like yesterday, Yeah, tweet about that.
- 57:24Speaker 4: He was like, Harry Potter, is you know, getting it?
- 57:29Speaker 6: Oh?
- 57:31Speaker 4: Oh excuse me, sorry, that's wrong, We're taking that back.
- 57:34Speaker 1: Never mind.
- 57:34Speaker 5: He was an alcoholic, Okay, but those probably go hand
- 57:40Speaker 5: in hand.
- 57:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 57:43Speaker 6: I think a sex addict is probably in a.
- 57:45Speaker 5: Lot of scenarios, an alcoholic who does not want to
- 57:48Speaker 5: admit that they have an alcohol problem, so they turn
- 57:50Speaker 5: it into like, well, alcohol's fine, It's just I end
- 57:52Speaker 5: up fucking every night.
- 57:54Speaker 4: Yeah. Tiger Woods, when he got in trouble for all
- 57:57Speaker 4: those affairs, had to come out and be like, I'm
- 57:59Speaker 4: a sex Yeah I'm sorry. It's like, no, dude, you're
- 58:01Speaker 4: just the man.
- 58:02Speaker 6: Yeah, you're just the greatest, one of the greatest athletes
- 58:04Speaker 6: of all time.
- 58:05Speaker 4: You just everybody wanted to fuck you and you're a
- 58:08Speaker 4: nice guy.
- 58:09Speaker 1: And you have like a low enough standard where it'll
- 58:11Speaker 1: be like a waiter. Yeah, get like floppy with it. Yeah,
- 58:15Speaker 1: you'll just bang like a blonde girl in Jupiter. Yeah. Yeah,
- 58:19Speaker 1: just for the love of the game. But it's like
- 58:21Speaker 1: when you call something addiction, you can be like, it's
- 58:25Speaker 1: not my fault, Like I have this this disease where
- 58:29Speaker 1: I need to put meat on meat.
- 58:34Speaker 3: So fu.
- 58:35Speaker 5: Yeah, Like, like I want to see what it looks
- 58:37Speaker 5: like when a sex addict is in withdrawal, you know,
- 58:40Speaker 5: I want to see what that looks like. Is it
- 58:42Speaker 5: just like you're in a bad mood or are you
- 58:45Speaker 5: like laying down like sweating.
- 58:47Speaker 1: You're having wet dreams during the day, Yeah, wet daydreams.
- 58:51Speaker 4: Wet day dreams. Yeah, dreams.
- 58:54Speaker 5: Ah.
- 58:56Speaker 1: I thought you are.
- 58:58Speaker 5: Depression and anxietiety, food swings, inability to focus, feelings of
- 59:06Speaker 5: frustration and annoyance.
- 59:07Speaker 4: I'm gonna be honest with you. I might be a
- 59:09Speaker 4: sex addict and withdrawal.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Frustration and annoyance is hilarious. The fuck fuck just like
- 59:18Speaker 5: cutting people off in traffic again, you just you're just
- 59:21Speaker 5: a bad guy, yeah, exactly.
- 59:23Speaker 1: Have no control of your feelings.
- 59:24Speaker 5: Or emotions like if you can't, if you cannot, if
- 59:27Speaker 5: you don't fuck for a day, and you're feeling feelings
- 59:30Speaker 5: of avoiding, socializing, frustration and annoyance, urges or cravings, cravings.
- 59:38Speaker 1: That's so fucking nasty, gross, gross flashbacks.
- 59:44Speaker 4: You know you know who's gonna be you know who's
- 59:48Speaker 4: in the Internet Invitational now? Is that guy? Big John?
- 59:51Speaker 1: Big Jay?
- 59:51Speaker 4: Big John Golf's add Big John something?
- 59:54Speaker 1: Yeah, Big John Golf's You're right.
- 59:56Speaker 4: And he, by the way, I messaged him and I
- 59:58Speaker 4: was like, I'm excited to playing the Internet Invitation with you,
- 1:00:02Speaker 4: and he was like, dude, I can't believe you're dming me.
- 1:00:04Speaker 4: I listened to Sound of a White Head every week.
- 1:00:06Speaker 6: Oh hell yeah, he love that boy John.
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: This guy's hilarious. I think he's fucking great.
- 1:00:11Speaker 6: Oh yeah, I've seen this guy.
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: He's great.
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: He's perpetually hungover, he's got a great he's got a
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: great voice.
- 1:00:17Speaker 4: He takes like five shots of liquor and then goes
- 1:00:21Speaker 4: on a five mile run.
- 1:00:22Speaker 6: Yeah, I've seen.
- 1:00:23Speaker 5: I've been seeing a lot of those videos of like
- 1:00:26Speaker 5: dudes taking like five hundred milligrams of edibles and then
- 1:00:30Speaker 5: being like I'm gonna go.
- 1:00:31Speaker 6: Jog ten miles. Yeah, I've seen that, and then by
- 1:00:33Speaker 6: mile three they're like, I'm going him.
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: To the hospital.
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: That shit sounds bad, sounds awful. I can't think of
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: anything less enjoy.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: Creating a wave. Like I saw a woman being like
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: taking a thousand milligrams of edibles and she injected a blackness. Yeah,
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: is that snake venom?
- 1:00:51Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 1:00:51Speaker 5: I saw that in like in like one of those tubes.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Just do heroin.
- 1:00:55Speaker 5: Yeah, No, that's what I brought. At that point, it's
- 1:00:57Speaker 5: like just it's not your we it's not for you,
- 1:00:59Speaker 5: like you're looking for something significantly stronger.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: We'll shout out to our brother Big John. I didn't
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: realize that he's part of the family.
- 1:01:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I think we should get him on the pod,
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: Big Jay, Big John, that's part of he's probably I
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: bet he's like twenty two. How old is he?
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: Francis, you need to use this as liked, we honestly
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: should go to the Invitational and banks some.
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: Episodes got a bad idea.
- 1:01:23Speaker 4: Why is this twenty six right?
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: You don't want us to talk about it could be
- 1:01:27Speaker 5: any it could be any time, It could be any
- 1:01:30Speaker 5: time anywhere.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Driver off the deck, like.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: That's Ai getting it wrong because I think they're talking
- 1:01:35Speaker 4: about the DoD King, but I think those two guys
- 1:01:39Speaker 4: actually do stuff together. Twenty four, Well, we got a
- 1:01:44Speaker 4: lot of conflicting accounts here, whatever.
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: I mean, that checks out. Two thousand and two.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: Did you see that Lamnium Mall's that dad was born
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: in nineteen ninety two?
- 1:01:53Speaker 5: Roh, No, I didn't see that. He was fifteen when
- 1:01:56Speaker 5: he had him. That's crazy.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: Lemaynia Mal's dad is younger than me.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: He's thirty four. That's fucking nuts.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: Bro.
- 1:02:09Speaker 5: He was born when in nineteen ninety two and his
- 1:02:12Speaker 5: son was born in two thousand and seven.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: He's thirty four and his son just won the World Cup.
- 1:02:17Speaker 5: That's so crazy. But that's got to be I mean, bro,
- 1:02:21Speaker 5: that is literally the best case scenario to having a
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: child at like fifteen years old.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: Yeah, sure is.
- 1:02:28Speaker 4: It'll kind of probably encourage a lot of fifteen year
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: olds to be like, yeah, no, I'm not uh, I'm.
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: Just going to create the next Le'maynia Mall.
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: I mean, how does that even happen? Like his dad
- 1:02:37Speaker 5: was probably like how do you.
- 1:02:40Speaker 6: Jesus?
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: He has to work, like he has to work for
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: like forty more years.
- 1:02:45Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, he's probably the dad's probably broke as fuck.
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:02:51Speaker 4: Oh, I bet he's giving his son's giving him.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: First first million dollars for le Maania Mal. He bought
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: his dad a Favella. I'm pretty sure he bought it
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: that A nice a nice watch. Half went to taxes
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: in Spain.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: Of course, we would you rather get the watch or
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: would you rather be like, just give me the I'll
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: take the cash. If you're giving out five hundred thousand
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: dollars watches.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: I don't think that's the end of his gifts.
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: Yeah, probably not.
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: That's great.
- 1:03:20Speaker 5: So is he like the most like accomplished soccer player
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: for that age?
- 1:03:24Speaker 6: Like ever, I.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: Think he has way more goals, minutes and assists than
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Messi at the same age. He also hasn't lost a
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: game when he suited up for his national side.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: I think he's more. I think he might be more.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: What I can't.
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: Say say it, bro I thought I read something that
- 1:03:45Speaker 5: he's now like technically has more achievements than like Ronaldo.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: I mean Ronaldo doesn't have a World Cup. Yeah, I
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: tell you that much.
- 1:03:54Speaker 4: Would you Why would you be worried about saying that?
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: Because I don't know anything about soccer.
- 1:03:59Speaker 4: Oh, let's gonna say, that's not that like controversial, but I.
- 1:04:03Speaker 6: Didn't want to be wrong.
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Fair alrady, guys.
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: Let's talk about shady rays all right, guys, quick question,
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: How are my shady rays basically the same quality as
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: the two hundred dollars sunglasses I used to buy? And
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: I'm not exaggerating. They feel every bit of premium as
- 1:04:19Speaker 5: the expensive brands I've owned. Meanwhile, I'm wearing Shady rays
- 1:04:22Speaker 5: to the lake, on the boat, at the game, and
- 1:04:25Speaker 5: on the job site, because if I drop them in
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: the ocean, they replace them. Knock them off the dock,
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: they replace them. Sit on them one day, day one.
- 1:04:34Speaker 5: If it's sit on them day one, they're gonna replace them.
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: You sit on a lot of pairs of sunglass.
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: I just literally sat on my sunglasses in Vegas.
- 1:04:41Speaker 4: I'm starting to think you're doing it intentionally.
- 1:04:42Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, so, I mean that's the great thing about
- 1:04:45Speaker 5: Shady rays, And they're actually premium polarized lenses that cut

- 1:05:29Speaker 1: What else is going on? We got a lot of
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: golf going on. Can I saved the Venezuelan ladies' life yesterday? Yeah,
- 1:05:36Speaker 1: let's talk about that. There's really nothing to talk about.
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: But I just saved the Venezuela pregnant Venezuelan ladies.
- 1:05:41Speaker 6: That's like the second time you've done that.
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm like hunting for it.
- 1:05:44Speaker 5: Yeah, you're saving lines.
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: I have, I have a high. I'm just like going
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: out at night.
- 1:05:48Speaker 4: Starting to feel a little performative.
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: It is it is.
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: You saved the old dude, the old dude whose skull
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: was cracked out of his head and fucking could couldn't
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: breathe he got hit. Revived him. I revived him with
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: a sternal rub, which is crazy. He tended to him
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: for seven minutes.
- 1:06:06Speaker 4: Now starting to think this Venezuelan mother of a six
- 1:06:09Speaker 4: year old who was passed out was actually just an
- 1:06:11Speaker 4: American woman taking it now.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: She was just a homeless lady. I was like, get upside.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: I was speaking performative Spanish to her. Yeah, I was like,
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: dundeesta biblioteca.
- 1:06:23Speaker 4: How did you know she was pasted out?
- 1:06:24Speaker 7: What?
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: What did you was like, I got off my bike
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: at twenty seventh and seventh, started crossing the street and
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: she was like going down. She was with a man.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: She had like they like suitcases, and like a bunch
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: of different suitcases. One of them was like an uber
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: ez bag with blankets in it basically, and they were
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: just she was like going to the ground. They put
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: one of the bags under her and she was just
- 1:06:44Speaker 1: completely unresponsive, and her six year old daughter just started
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: crying right there, and I just became the father of
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: their entire family. I was like telling her that it
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: was okay, like holding a woman's hand. I was like,
- 1:07:00Speaker 1: and she was pregnant, and she was like met or no,
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: she didn't even say that her fucking uh, I guess
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: Venezuelan husband her annoyed Venezuelan. Yeah, he was annoyed as fuck.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: But I stayed until the ambulance came. It just felt
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: so good. I understand what you're chasing right now, but
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: I've achieved it twice in the time, in the timespan
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: that you've been trying to save a life.
- 1:07:22Speaker 4: Well, we all have different lanes, right Your Your lane
- 1:07:24Speaker 4: is is helping people in peril. Mine is stopping crime. Okay,
- 1:07:29Speaker 4: I'm a first responder. You're a dark knight. Yeah, I'm
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: a uh, I'm a vigilante.
- 1:07:36Speaker 6: Did they ever find out what was wrong with the lady?
- 1:07:38Speaker 4: Like?
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: What what was it?
- 1:07:39Speaker 6: She was pregnant and just.
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: My guess is that she had gestational diabetes. My read
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: on it gestational diabetes and her blood sugar got love.
- 1:07:51Speaker 4: She was addicted to porn.
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: She was six hours without having porn. I just pulled
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: up the hub on my phone. I just hovered it
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: and under her face she started blasting herself.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: And this was was this in the subway station?
- 1:08:08Speaker 1: No, it was getting off the city bike at twenty
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: seventh and seventh under the scaffolding. Damn, And the ambulance came.
- 1:08:13Speaker 1: I was like telling everyone, like you hear the sirens,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: it's okay. The little girl stopped crying. I made it better.
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: And a fire truck pulled up to and then they
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: like assessed the situation from the truck and then they
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: just blew off, just left. And the paramedics were pissed. Yeah,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: they're like, the fire truck just leave us. They were
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: fucking furious. I had a complete ass day yesterday while
- 1:08:35Speaker 1: we were waiting for SaaS. Afterwards, I went I went
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: jewelry shopping for it's my fifth wedding anniversary coming up.
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: Went jewelry shopping. Finally have a jewelry guy, Clark, I
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: gotta put you onto this.
- 1:08:46Speaker 4: Jewel I don't need to buy jewelry for anyone.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Don't you have to just stock pile it up. This
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: place is sick. It's like in jeweler's row. But they
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: just brought me into this guy's office that had like
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: some sports memorabilia on the wall, and that made me
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: feel way better about it.
- 1:08:59Speaker 4: Was this in the Diamond district.
- 1:09:01Speaker 1: Was in the Diamond district, but they brought me into
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: a high rise. I wasn't on the floor where they
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: have the uncut gems floor like that shit is. That
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: shit is stressful. Have you ever been on that floor?
- 1:09:11Speaker 6: Yeah, well it's where that guy screamed at the guy
- 1:09:14Speaker 6: and went by.
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: Hey my fucking yeah.
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: Yeah that was crazy. Yeah what was that about? It
- 1:09:19Speaker 5: was like, uh, that's just all.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: That's all.
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: Those dudes are low key influencers. Yeah, they're all just
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: like diamond influencers who like trade baseball cards and ship
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: like that.
- 1:09:29Speaker 6: I mean that that he caused a scene, for sure.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: I think that they're all about causing scenes. That guy
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: Moses is always like giving away like gold bars on
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: like sixth Avenue and shit like that. Yeah, yeah, I
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: got but I have this guy for you. I have
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: a diamond guy for you.
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: I'm selling everything I own.
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: You're gonna like this dude. He'll get you a deal.
- 1:09:49Speaker 4: I'm stripping my life bare and going back to a
- 1:09:53Speaker 4: spartan lifestyle.
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: I think that he would gift you something, honestly, Well.
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: If that's gonna happen, I'm interested.
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: He might gift you something. He was looking at gift
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Dave something. I need to get him in front of
- 1:10:02Speaker 1: Dave so we can gift him.
- 1:10:03Speaker 5: You told him that you were who worked at barstool.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: I had to for the deal of course, and uh,
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: he broke. He probably gift you. He would gift half
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: of you something.
- 1:10:11Speaker 5: That's fine with me.
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: Yeah, he give you half a gift.
- 1:10:13Speaker 5: I'll stop by, I'll stop buy Moses.
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: Is it Moses, it's not Moses, it's a different brother, Clarte.
- 1:10:17Speaker 5: N I'll stop buy. I'll say what's up to Clarte?
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: Hi d company?
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: I don't know where you're supposed to actually buy jewelry exactly.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: It's so stressful as a dude. I also have given
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: up trying to buy a present that I think someone
- 1:10:31Speaker 1: will like, I'm just going to take you shopping for yourself.
- 1:10:36Speaker 1: It's so fucking frustrated any holiday, stressing out being like
- 1:10:40Speaker 1: maybe you'll like this, maybe not just fucking buy buy
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: what you want to?
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: Yeah, cash cash. Do you think given cash to an
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: adult is kosher?
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: I'm like, I'm always down for cash personally, but I
- 1:10:57Speaker 6: could see you like not wanting to get cash.
- 1:11:00Speaker 1: Whenever I was usually if you're like loaded. Whenever i'd
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: hear parents giving their kid cash, I was like, I
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: think that's super lazy. Oh yeah, but now it's like,
- 1:11:08Speaker 1: if that's what they want.
- 1:11:10Speaker 6: Cash is king?
- 1:11:11Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean Yeah, it's better than getting something that
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: you're not gonna want or not gonna use.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: Ever.
- 1:11:15Speaker 5: But also at the same time, like obviously there's no
- 1:11:18Speaker 5: thought going into cash, yeah, other than just how much
- 1:11:22Speaker 5: money should we give?
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: Yeah, And it always seems like a little bit too little,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: doesn't it. Of course, I don't know, you can't tell.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: Went out to Delaware this past weekend, was sick.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: We went to the Delaware.
- 1:11:35Speaker 1: I went to Delaware.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: Oh, the Delaware, the Delaware River, and.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Right away my mother in law hit me with some
- 1:11:42Speaker 1: some mom Donnie talks. Oh, she was just desperate to
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: hit to talk mom Donnie. How's the city?
- 1:11:49Speaker 4: You okay?
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:11:51Speaker 5: Are you guys holding up?
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: I would have to. I had to explain that, like
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: New York is like if you're living, if you have
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: a problem with New York, you're not outside in New
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: York right now. No. I think it's like the best
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: vibes that New York has ever had.
- 1:12:05Speaker 4: This summer because the Knicks, the Knicks and the World Cup.
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: And like it's hot out it's like warm, I don't
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: very hot. I don't know. Even Viking in Last Night
- 1:12:15Speaker 1: just had me charmed by New York. I think that's
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: just like people are furious about New York from Afar. Yeah,
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: they're just like fucking mom Donnie.
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a lot of people that don't live in
- 1:12:24Speaker 5: New York that think New York is like a full
- 1:12:26Speaker 5: on like war zone.
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: Yeah, because that lady of the video of the lady
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: trying to burn down, like the immigration office yesterday just
- 1:12:34Speaker 1: lit the pavement on fire. They're like, fucking mom Donnie.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:12:37Speaker 4: I wonder what percentage of people who kind of complained
- 1:12:40Speaker 4: about the threat of Mom Donnie's sort of communist stance
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: even know what why communism is a threat?
- 1:12:52Speaker 5: No, I think that's just the way it is.
- 1:12:54Speaker 4: I think they view communism as like this dark fucking
- 1:12:58Speaker 4: specter that is going to come in and beat their
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: children up or something.
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: And why is it a threat to you? Well, I
- 1:13:06Speaker 1: have my answer, you know.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: I mean I had to ask my smarter friends than
- 1:13:10Speaker 4: me the same question. I was like, I understand why
- 1:13:13Speaker 4: communism was a threat, you know, in the twentieth century,
- 1:13:18Speaker 4: with it being sort of the Soviet Union and China
- 1:13:23Speaker 4: all that, but like, why specifically is it so dark
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: right now? And my friends were like, well, it just
- 1:13:32Speaker 4: first of all, it's never worked ever. It is the
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: loss of private property. It's the loss of privacy.
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: It's it's also a false and uninstateable like position, like
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: there's no true communism because like within communism becomes like
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: an oligarchy and it's like the property goes to them,
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: the good food goes to them. There's like silos of
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: grain in Kazakhstan or whatever, and it's like it's better
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: to be out of it for those people. But it's
- 1:14:02Speaker 1: like it's never actually happened.
- 1:14:04Speaker 4: It tends to lead to like the erosion of basic
- 1:14:08Speaker 4: rights and the collect collectivization of media and state nationalization
- 1:14:16Speaker 4: of stuff like that. And I mean that's what I've
- 1:14:20Speaker 4: been told, So I now understand why. Yeah, I don't
- 1:14:24Speaker 4: like my I guess I don't like mom Donnie because
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: I don't want him to take my stuff. I'm trying
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: to sell it. He wants to buy it, I'll sell
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: it if he wants my guitar, but he's not gonna
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: he's not gonna buy my He's gonna take my guitar
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: and give it to that Venezuelan and one yes exactly,
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: so that she can play it in the subway and
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: earn a living.
- 1:14:41Speaker 6: Do you want to see a dollar.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: The people who are pissed off about it are not
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: in New York. And you could tell that because like
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: their criticisms of Mom Donnie are wrong, Like if you
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: wanted to criticize him, criticize them for like all the
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: homeless people that are everywhere. And the promise is that
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: he made about homelessness that didn't come true, that he's
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: like I'm gonna have social workers on every case, Like
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: that would be a more valid criticism. And I think
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: if you talk to people who are outside, that's something
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: that they've noticed, not that like I don't know that
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: someone tried to burn down the immigration.
- 1:15:11Speaker 5: Office that should has nothing to do with him, That
- 1:15:15Speaker 5: there's like a looming threat in the city.
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that, Uh, but I guess I don't
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: know drives clicks.
- 1:15:23Speaker 5: I mean, isn't like I don't know, I'm not I'm
- 1:15:25Speaker 5: not super opinionated on it, but like, isn't he doing
- 1:15:30Speaker 5: like a pretty solid job.
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: I don't know. My life hasn't changed it, nobody's life
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: has changed, damn near anybody's life hasn't fucking changed. So, like,
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: what are you talking about other than reels you see
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: where they put like dark music behind a Muslim call
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: to prayer and like you're like, oh, well, of course
- 1:15:48Speaker 1: he's got to be a bad guy. Are people people
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: are praying in the streets. People are.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: Also like, there's always been immigrants in New York and
- 1:15:58Speaker 6: there always will be.
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: I can't tell like since Trump has come in with
- 1:16:02Speaker 1: like ice, I cannot tell the difference in the immigrant
- 1:16:06Speaker 1: experience like I can't. I don't see fewer or more immigrants.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Me and my uber driver great had a great convo
- 1:16:12Speaker 6: yesterday about the immigration in America.
- 1:16:17Speaker 1: It was on the way home.
- 1:16:18Speaker 6: I was told Roan this all the way home after
- 1:16:20Speaker 6: we recorded last night.
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Me and my I had a Ukrainian Uber driver who
- 1:16:24Speaker 5: spoke to me the entire trip, the thirty minute drive
- 1:16:27Speaker 5: through Google Translate. He would go like ballistic in Ukrainian
- 1:16:32Speaker 5: or Russian, whatever language it was, huh, and then he
- 1:16:35Speaker 5: would play it on like Siri, and then I would
- 1:16:39Speaker 5: like start talking and be like uh, and then he
- 1:16:41Speaker 5: would like go again and then then play it.
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: It was pretty interesting, he said. His the guy's I
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: do was Mexican people should be allowed to work, but
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: they should only be allowed to come for six months
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: and then they have to take themselves home.
- 1:16:52Speaker 5: Yeah, but he also said like if you're boar harvest,
- 1:16:56Speaker 5: yeah exactly. He was like, people need to work, and
- 1:17:00Speaker 5: then he said that yeah, he was just thrown around
- 1:17:02Speaker 5: a bunch of crazy ideas. But he was like, I
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: think it's crazy that, uh, like people that are born
- 1:17:06Speaker 5: in Texas or California, I get like sent back somewhere
- 1:17:09Speaker 5: that they'd never been.
- 1:17:11Speaker 6: And I was just like, yeah, I agree. It's like
- 1:17:13Speaker 6: I didn't really have much to add.
- 1:17:14Speaker 5: I was kind of just saying, yeah, a bunch Yeah, fuck,
- 1:17:18Speaker 5: what was I going to say? And I asked him
- 1:17:20Speaker 5: if he played counter Strike at the end, he's from Ukraine.
- 1:17:24Speaker 4: Why did you.
- 1:17:25Speaker 1: Text round that and not me as well? He didn't
- 1:17:27Speaker 1: text me, he told me here thank god.
- 1:17:29Speaker 4: Yeah. I was going to say, that's a very interesting
- 1:17:34Speaker 4: and funny story that I think would.
- 1:17:36Speaker 1: Have even the group chat. Yeah, appealed to my specific.
- 1:17:41Speaker 5: It was interesting we went because we started it out
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: with no Google Translate. But I think he kept on
- 1:17:46Speaker 5: saying I wasn't understanding what he was saying, so then
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: he eventually switched. But he was saying he was like,
- 1:17:53Speaker 5: he was like, I had a great life in Ukraine
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: before the war.
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: He was a military Yeah, he was like.
- 1:17:58Speaker 5: I was like, he said, he was like very establish,
- 1:18:00Speaker 5: had a very good job, was in the military for
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: two years. And he said, now he's here and he
- 1:18:05Speaker 5: said it's awful. He said, he has no he's nothing here.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: Then why did he come because his country is at war?
- 1:18:13Speaker 4: Yeah, that makes sense, Well.
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: Can get out if you don't like it, then fucking
- 1:18:18Speaker 1: That's not my take.
- 1:18:19Speaker 4: It's like, dude, if your life was great there and
- 1:18:21Speaker 4: you were in the military and now it's under attack, well,
- 1:18:24Speaker 4: I think you do not want to go back and fight.
- 1:18:26Speaker 6: Like he served his time already.
- 1:18:29Speaker 4: I'm sure.
- 1:18:30Speaker 6: I'm sure they'd let him back. Yeah, yeah, but I
- 1:18:32Speaker 6: think no, I don't think he wants to.
- 1:18:34Speaker 4: That's totally fair.
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: I guess. I don't know.
- 1:18:38Speaker 4: I get I get a little uh maybe this is
- 1:18:44Speaker 4: a totally I'm like, dude, if you if you liked
- 1:18:47Speaker 4: your country that much, and you loved your life that much,
- 1:18:51Speaker 4: and you were trained to fight in your military and
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: you don't like it here, yeah, wouldn't you rather go
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: back and try to win the war so you can
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: or your life for your home country.
- 1:19:01Speaker 6: I don't think there's any winning that war.
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: Contribute.
- 1:19:05Speaker 1: I don't know contribute.
- 1:19:06Speaker 5: I agree, I mean, but I'm I think he did
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: a fight in the war. He's only lived here for
- 1:19:10Speaker 5: two years. We're getting dinner tonight, We're getting Greek yogurt.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: He's in line.
- 1:19:17Speaker 7: Now.
- 1:19:19Speaker 4: Uh did you see that BTS was at that halftime
- 1:19:22Speaker 4: show for the World Cup?
- 1:19:24Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:19:24Speaker 4: Yeah, So I didn't realize this, but those guys all
- 1:19:27Speaker 4: went on hiatus because mandatory military terry service in Korea.
- 1:19:31Speaker 6: Yeah, they were like at like the peak of there.
- 1:19:34Speaker 4: You imagine being in a fucking platoon with those beautiful
- 1:19:36Speaker 4: baby faced boys.
- 1:19:38Speaker 1: Who are they fighting? Who is Korea at war with her?
- 1:19:41Speaker 5: They're not, they air They just have mandatory military service.
- 1:19:45Speaker 5: But like, yeah that I mean, bro, they're like the
- 1:19:47Speaker 5: most famous people on earth.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, they had some light ass service for COT.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: They weren't doing shit, ye sitting in the studio ordering
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: people around.
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: It's like Derek Zulander when he goes to work in
- 1:19:58Speaker 4: the mines. They're all just like toting their guns around
- 1:20:04Speaker 4: the camps. They're all like tailored.
- 1:20:07Speaker 1: Imagine them having to be at like the North Korean border,
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: like the military guards that they put there that have
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: to like high step and like puff their chests out
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: to they have a show of strength just by how
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: they stand. It would be a good way to mog
- 1:20:22Speaker 1: the North Koreans.
- 1:20:24Speaker 4: I wonder if the North Koreans know about BTS.
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: God no, I mean, I'm sure Kim does, Kim Jong,
- 1:20:32Speaker 5: but I don't think the citizens definitely have no. Dude,
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: they don't even know about Taylor Swift.
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: They're too busy celebrating their World Cup. When when North
- 1:20:48Speaker 1: Korea finds out that they five O Spain in the final,
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: that's some guy walking through the streets.
- 1:20:55Speaker 4: BTS in the World Cup.
- 1:20:58Speaker 5: Yeah, this is a dumb question, but like the people
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: that live in North Korea, do they do they hate
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: it or do they like or are they like we're
- 1:21:03Speaker 5: the best?
- 1:21:05Speaker 4: It's I think it's a mix. I think they like,
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: I think, but we're also the best. Well I think
- 1:21:10Speaker 4: a lot of them are starving.
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: Yeah, depends on who you listen to. If you listen
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: to that uh Bucks and woman that went on Joe Rogan,
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: yea that they were all eating rats or whatever, But
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: then everybody said that that lady's lying. So it's like
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: if you're saying the girl who's saying North Korea is bad.
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: Is lying, and you're saying North Korea is nice, great,
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: it's sick there. That's communism, right, I don't know what, yes, yeah,
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: North Korea is that's like pretty pure communism.
- 1:21:41Speaker 4: And then but it's communism under a dictator, which is
- 1:21:44Speaker 4: often how it happens, right, Yeah, of course.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: It sucks.
- 1:21:50Speaker 4: What what is the most functional communist country in the
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: world right now? Is it China? Probably China?
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: Right, yeah, but China is like it is like like that.
- 1:22:01Speaker 1: You can become a billionaire in China if you want. Yeah, yeah, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Cuba, Cuba.
- 1:22:15Speaker 4: Is Russia still considered a communist it is, right, I
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: don't know, no longer communist and has operated as a
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: capitalist federation since the collapse of the Soviet Union in
- 1:22:26Speaker 4: nineteenninety one. Well that's really interesting interesting. Look you know what, guys,
- 1:22:33Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna come clean right now. I don't
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: know shit, Yeah, I don't know anything.
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: I don't know shit. I'm dumb.
- 1:22:39Speaker 4: I'm stupid as fuck.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: Of course we're dumb. That's the work, that's what people
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: are signing up for. That's the point of the Sometimes
- 1:22:45Speaker 1: I put on podcasts, and it's like such a dense
- 1:22:47Speaker 1: listen like it's it's annoying for your brain. This podcast
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: is supposed to be like a fact every fifteen minutes
- 1:22:55Speaker 1: and between it might be wrong, absolute fluff.
- 1:22:57Speaker 4: I think that I think that I used to think
- 1:23:00Speaker 4: I was smart, and then this podcast made me realize
- 1:23:02Speaker 4: it's way more fun to just not know. Yeah, you
- 1:23:05Speaker 4: talk about them just coast. Yeah, it's a coasting podcast.
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: You gotta let go of your expectations. Stop holding us
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: to such a high standard. I don't know where that
- 1:23:17Speaker 4: comes from. How many conversations do you need to listen
- 1:23:19Speaker 4: to about fucking diarrhea before you're like, yeah, I'm surprised
- 1:23:24Speaker 4: they didn't know that Russia was a communists.
- 1:23:27Speaker 1: Way better to be dumb. It's so much better to
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: be dumb. It's fun, man, because when people are smart,
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: they're like things that they're entitled to success. Yeah, it's
- 1:23:35Speaker 1: like you're not. You're not entitled to success, and uh,
- 1:23:39Speaker 1: you actually are probably dumb. Idunn and Krueger.
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: I've reached a point where I am stunned when things
- 1:23:45Speaker 4: go my way professional. Oh yeah, stunned. I'm like that
- 1:23:51Speaker 4: what those people want me? No, surely not. But it's
- 1:23:57Speaker 4: happening less and less because I've really started to coast quick.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Harry did a Viva a Stool clip any of the
- 1:24:02Speaker 1: stuff about Austin. I don't know.
- 1:24:03Speaker 6: I didn't see. Oh they did.
- 1:24:06Speaker 4: Nice.
- 1:24:07Speaker 5: What are they saying?
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: They said?
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: Sasas is cooking? SaaS lays out the evidence top tiers
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Zinger from rowing well, holy.
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: Ship, that's got to be the one about me though,
- 1:24:18Speaker 4: good gas, good gas. That's got to be that that
- 1:24:21Speaker 4: the take notes Francis because that was so funny.
- 1:24:24Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know. I can't I can't
- 1:24:26Speaker 1: possibly watch it. I need someone to follow me around
- 1:24:28Speaker 1: and say I'm just a man. After I get a
- 1:24:32Speaker 1: positive retweet from Viva law Stool.
- 1:24:35Speaker 5: Yeah, La, what do you guys?
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: What are you guys doing tomorrow?
- 1:24:39Speaker 4: You guys feel so unburdened having admitted that I'm stupid.
- 1:24:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so nice?
- 1:24:44Speaker 4: What what it like? Yeah, okay, we're all on the
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: same page.
- 1:24:46Speaker 1: Let's relaxed, unburdened by what has been stupid. That's Kamala Harris,
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: what do you Where are you guys going tomorrow? Aren't
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: like out? Do you know what I mean? Yeah?
- 1:24:58Speaker 4: That's how it feels like final. Dad, I'm stupid, and
- 1:25:03Speaker 4: now all I want is for the audience to be like,
- 1:25:05Speaker 4: you know what, we still like you all the same.
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: Or your dad being like son, I always I always knew.
- 1:25:13Speaker 1: I always knew you were done.
- 1:25:15Speaker 4: We always knew.
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: Can look how you walk?
- 1:25:17Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I'd about to do it ship tomorrow.
- 1:25:20Speaker 1: I don't have anything.
- 1:25:22Speaker 4: I have a golf shoot with Trent Well that was
- 1:25:25Speaker 4: supposed to be today, but there's gonna be severe, severe thunderstorms.
- 1:25:28Speaker 1: He's supposed to be bad.
- 1:25:30Speaker 4: Yeah, we're gonna do something pretty funny too, but we'll
- 1:25:32Speaker 4: make it happen.
- 1:25:33Speaker 5: But apparently the subways are gonna flood. I saw that
- 1:25:36Speaker 5: always flooding there. They were saying, the waters there's never
- 1:25:38Speaker 5: been this clean.
- 1:25:39Speaker 4: Oh.
- 1:25:39Speaker 1: But I saw people being like, there was like a
- 1:25:41Speaker 1: bustling that was flooded, and people are like, Mom, Donnie,
- 1:25:44Speaker 1: you have fucking two years to figure this out before
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: the set rises up against you. Damn in city's going
- 1:25:52Speaker 1: to ship.
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: He's going to ship.
- 1:25:55Speaker 1: Just I think now is the real test. Now that
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: the Knicks is over and the World Cup is over,
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: you can't you can't coast Now, Now is the real
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: test it'll be winter. People will be angry.
- 1:26:04Speaker 5: He's gonna need the Jets to have a good season
- 1:26:07Speaker 5: or the Giants. Someone's gonna have to play well. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:26:09Speaker 5: I can see the Giants being okay.
- 1:26:11Speaker 1: Can the Yankees going if the Yankees going to run?
- 1:26:14Speaker 1: But the Socks are fourteen in a row?
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I think won fourteen in a row.
- 1:26:18Speaker 6: The Red Sox, Yeah, oh my god, they wish us wrecked.
- 1:26:21Speaker 1: Oh bad? After Hogdale got hired, Hogdale's turning up that he.
- 1:26:24Speaker 6: Don't being on them. Yeah, Hogdale, it's a winning team.
- 1:26:28Speaker 5: He's great and aggregate, Wow, we want twenty we're going
- 1:26:31Speaker 5: for twenty twenty.
- 1:26:33Speaker 4: What's the record twenty three for the athletics?
- 1:26:35Speaker 6: I thought it was twenty?
- 1:26:37Speaker 4: Is it twenty?
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: I don't know if anyone's ever broke twenty.
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: Six for the Giants? Nineteen sixteen, Cleveland Indians for twenty
- 1:26:47Speaker 1: two Oakland A's had.
- 1:26:48Speaker 6: Oh it was twenty So why was the Oakland A's
- 1:26:51Speaker 6: thing so.
- 1:26:51Speaker 1: Because it's modern era.
- 1:26:52Speaker 4: In nineteen sixteen, twenty seventeen, twenty seventeen, Indian Indians had
- 1:26:58Speaker 4: had twenty two.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: Oh so that oh that was after we need.
- 1:27:02Speaker 5: And they took that.
- 1:27:03Speaker 6: They took Jonah Hill from the Indians in the movie.
- 1:27:07Speaker 1: Right in years different though he went back. It's probably
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: Hill the whole time.
- 1:27:12Speaker 5: I feel like Billy Bean gets a little too much credit,
- 1:27:15Speaker 5: but it was really Hill.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: It was Hell.
- 1:27:17Speaker 6: He just followed the Billy Bean just followed the plant.
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: Right, King of the Hill. He just hired the right guy.
- 1:27:22Speaker 6: Yeah, and he poached him. He poached him from the Indians.
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: Yeah, just because he was nerding out in the office.
- 1:27:28Speaker 1: Basically the plot of Jerry maguire. Mhm, Jerry MacGuire shouldn't
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: get any credit. It should be that fucking chipmunk looking woman.
- 1:27:38Speaker 6: Man, my stomach's going nuts, all right, Yeah, I gotta take.
- 1:27:41Speaker 4: A numb great episode, just so so so classic to
- 1:27:46Speaker 4: who we Are. I liked it a lot. I feel
- 1:27:48Speaker 4: unbelievably light of soul.
- 1:27:50Speaker 6: I'm glad. I'm glad to hear it. I'm so fucking stupid.
- 1:27:52Speaker 6: I'm very happy to hear that, and I really am.
- 1:27:54Speaker 4: I believe it too.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: No, no, no, it's fine title this episode. We are dumb.
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: So anybody that has anything like to say about what
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: we think, it's like, Bro, you're arguing with a dumb person.
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: That makes you dumb. We don't think we're right. No, no, no,
- 1:28:11Speaker 1: never when you argue with fools or whatever, what's that saying.
- 1:28:16Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 1:28:16Speaker 1: You don't argue with fools because from a difference, no
- 1:28:18Speaker 1: one can tell who's who. So you started arguing with us.
- 1:28:22Speaker 1: That makes you dumb, dude.
- 1:28:23Speaker 4: I was watching it really quick, I watch I started
- 1:28:25Speaker 4: watching this movie called dead Man's Wire on Netflix. Yes,
- 1:28:31Speaker 4: it's pretty good so far. I'm only like three quarters
- 1:28:33Speaker 4: of the way. I think it's based on this true
- 1:28:36Speaker 4: story where like a guy Milwaukee, Yeah, it was yea Minneapolis.
- 1:28:42Speaker 4: It was like pretty upset that a mortgage loan company
- 1:28:45Speaker 4: had he had gotten a mortgage, hadn't paid his you know,
- 1:28:50Speaker 4: interest on times, so they like kind of he believes
- 1:28:53Speaker 4: that they made it impossible for him to succeed and
- 1:28:56Speaker 4: like fucked him over. So he walks into the office
- 1:28:59Speaker 4: with a gun and he meets with the son of
- 1:29:03Speaker 4: the founder of the firm and in his office, and
- 1:29:07Speaker 4: he pulls a gun on him and like rigs this
- 1:29:10Speaker 4: contraption that it's like a shotgun rigged to a wire
- 1:29:14Speaker 4: where if he moves or anyone tries to like take
- 1:29:19Speaker 4: the gun away or whatever, it'll blow the guy's head off. Yeah,
- 1:29:22Speaker 4: takes him hostage, brings him home, and tries to start
- 1:29:25Speaker 4: issuing all these demands.
- 1:29:28Speaker 1: Is this the wait?
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: Is this the movie where about like the guy that's
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: like on the stock broking like TV show he gets
- 1:29:36Speaker 5: similar to that.
- 1:29:36Speaker 6: He gets on he calls the radio host. I feel
- 1:29:41Speaker 6: like there's another movie.
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: I mean, unless it's the same movie that I'm thinking of.
- 1:29:44Speaker 4: And then the reason I bring this up is that
- 1:29:46Speaker 4: the radio host he's talking to him and and he's
- 1:29:51Speaker 4: put The radio host has played by Coleman Domingo, who's great,
- 1:29:54Speaker 4: and he says, holding on to anger against someone is
- 1:30:00Speaker 4: like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.
- 1:30:05Speaker 1: Yeah, that was such a bar.
- 1:30:08Speaker 5: Yeah, it's poetic.
- 1:30:09Speaker 4: I'd never heard that. I think it's from Hinduism or
- 1:30:13Speaker 4: something like that. But that really stuck with me. And
- 1:30:16Speaker 4: I think someone said that to me before, but I
- 1:30:18Speaker 4: forgot it. But I thought that was a good that's
- 1:30:21Speaker 4: even holding onto anger. Oh, I'm never without it.
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: I can't. Yeah, you gotta. Yeah, you got a concealed
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: carry for your anger.
- 1:30:30Speaker 4: I have drunk quite a lot of poison. No one
- 1:30:33Speaker 4: else has died and wondered at the continued health of
- 1:30:36Speaker 4: my enemies.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Yeah. The funniest thing about that movie, and actually the
- 1:30:41Speaker 1: ending is amazing. I had to spoil it. No no, no,
- 1:30:43Speaker 1: no no no. I'm going to kind of finish it tonight.
- 1:30:45Speaker 6: I'm going to watch it right when I get home
- 1:30:47Speaker 6: because the dad finished a movie.
- 1:30:48Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: The dad is like, have you gotten the part where
- 1:30:51Speaker 1: they talk to the dad and he's like like, you'll
- 1:30:53Speaker 1: figure it out.
- 1:30:54Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah. It's al Pacino, right, He's.
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Got a gun to his head and he's like, we
- 1:30:58Speaker 1: can't negotiate with this. Chinos in it back man, yeah
- 1:31:01Speaker 1: coackman Jones.
- 1:31:03Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm definitely watching it.
- 1:31:06Speaker 1: Okay, I gotta go to this thing, all right, good luck.
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: We'll see you guys next week.
- 1:31:10Speaker 6: Goodbye.
