- 0:00Speaker 1: What's going on, everybody? It's Romeo.
- 0:01Speaker 2: We made it to Tuesday, Monday Night Football. We talked
- 0:04Speaker 2: a little bit about the Cowboys. They are not going
- 0:05Speaker 2: to the Super Bowl. We also talked about buying a
- 0:08Speaker 2: beer for somebody. What happens when you turn them down?
- 0:10Speaker 2: And then costumes. We talked about costumes. Halloween is coming.
- 0:14Speaker 1: Mom called me and yelled at me yesterday. And let
- 0:17Speaker 1: me tell you why.
- 0:18Speaker 2: And I don't think she should have yelled at me,
- 0:21Speaker 2: but maybe I'm the one that's in the wrong here.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So one of my nephews....
- 0:30Speaker 2: Texted me and I didn't know who it was. You know,
- 0:33Speaker 2: do you guys answer phone numbers that you don't know
- 0:35Speaker 2: the number of? Probably not a lot unless you own
- 0:37Speaker 2: a business or something. But if your number doesn't pop
- 0:40Speaker 2: up in a name form, I don't answer. And I
- 0:42Speaker 2: think most people are like that.
- 0:44Speaker 1: But I get a text message and the text message says, hey,
- 0:48Speaker 1: this is so and so.
- 0:49Speaker 2: Do you have time to talk? And I went and
- 0:54Speaker 2: I didn't answer it. Because I didn't know if it
- 0:57Speaker 2: was a, first off, I didn't know if it was
- 0:59Speaker 2: a scam or not. And so I just deleted it.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Didn't think nothing of it. So I get it. And
- 1:05Speaker 2: this happened a couple of days ago. So later on
- 1:07Speaker 2: that day, got the same message. I was like, damn, whatever.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Just threw it out. The next day, get the same thing. Hey,
- 1:17Speaker 2: text message. You able to talk? Can I call you?
- 1:19Speaker 1: I was like, whatever. Whatever.
- 1:22Speaker 2: So I'm not one of those people that gets mad
- 1:24Speaker 2: about that stuff. If you call me, solicit me or whatever,
- 1:29Speaker 2: I just, I don't answer.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 1:30Speaker 2: It doesn't bother me to just not answer my phone.
- 1:34Speaker 2: So finally yesterday, I get a call from my mom. Hey,
- 1:37Speaker 2: so-and-so is trying to get a hold of you. They
- 1:40Speaker 2: say that you're not getting back to him. I said,
- 1:44Speaker 2: who's so-and-so? Oh, that's who's been texting me, my nephew.
- 1:48Speaker 2: And he goes, she goes, well, why are you not
- 1:51Speaker 2: calling him back?
- 1:51Speaker 1: I was like, why in the hell is he texting
- 1:54Speaker 1: me to call me? How did he get my phone number? Well,
- 1:57Speaker 1: I gave it to him. Well, then why the hell
- 2:00Speaker 1: didn't he call me? Why is he texting me, asking
- 2:04Speaker 1: me if I have time to talk? Why didn't he
- 2:08Speaker 1: just call me? Well, I don't know. You should be.
- 2:12Speaker 2: And she just was made it my fault. And I
- 2:15Speaker 2: don't think it's my fault. If you want to talk
- 2:18Speaker 2: to me, call me. If I answer the phone, I
- 2:21Speaker 2: have time to talk to you. If I don't answer
- 2:24Speaker 2: the phone, leave a voicemail. So I know what's going on.
- 2:31Speaker 2: And I don't know.
- 2:34Speaker 1: What the hell is wrong with this kid. So I
- 2:38Speaker 1: guess we'll see.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Hopefully, he didn't call me yesterday after my mom called
- 2:42Speaker 2: to tell me I was being a jackass. But if
- 2:47Speaker 2: you want to talk to someone, who the hell goes,
- 2:50Speaker 2: do you have text? Who takes the time to text
- 2:54Speaker 2: to ask if you have time for me to call you?
- 2:58Speaker 3: That's stupid.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Just pick up the phone and dial the damn number
- 3:01Speaker 1: and call. These kids today are so stupid. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 3:09Speaker 2: And if I don't answer, which I won't because I
- 3:11Speaker 2: don't know your phone number. Your name is not in
- 3:13Speaker 2: my phone. Leave a damn voicemail. So my mom called
- 3:18Speaker 2: to get on my case yesterday because one of my
- 3:22Speaker 2: nephews that she she gave my nephew, one of my nephews,
- 3:26Speaker 2: my phone number. And so this clown, what he did
- 3:28Speaker 2: was he texted me over a couple of days. He
- 3:31Speaker 2: texted me and kept asking me, am I available to talk?
- 3:35Speaker 2: Am I available to talk? And I I just I
- 3:37Speaker 2: didn't know the number and I didn't know it really
- 3:39Speaker 2: didn't register who was texting me. So I just kept,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you know, deleting it, deleting it, deleting it, deleting it. Finally,
- 3:46Speaker 2: my mom called to yell at me. Why aren't you
- 3:49Speaker 2: talking to your nephews trying to get.
- 3:50Speaker 1: A hold of you? He needs your help with this.
- 3:52Speaker 1: He wants this. And my mom is just like, and
- 3:55Speaker 1: I told my mom, I said, well, he didn't call me.
- 3:57Speaker 1: He kept texting me.
- 3:59Speaker 2: I don't know who the hell that is. You gave
- 4:01Speaker 2: him my phone number. Why the hell didn't he call me?
- 4:04Speaker 2: Make a phone call so that. To ask me if
- 4:10Speaker 2: I'm available to talk is stupid. Because if you call
- 4:13Speaker 2: me and I'm not available to talk, I won't answer
- 4:17Speaker 2: my phone. And you can just leave a voicemail and
- 4:21Speaker 2: let me know what the hell you want. That's the
- 4:23Speaker 2: dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Texting somebody to see
- 4:26Speaker 2: if they're available for you to make a phone call
- 4:28Speaker 2: to them.
- 4:29Speaker 1: That's stupid.
- 4:31Speaker 2: R-D-4-T-5-4-7-7-8, Big Rome, you're not wrong. He should have just
- 4:36Speaker 2: called you. They're the ones that don't know how to
- 4:39Speaker 2: communicate with people.
- 4:40Speaker 1: All they do is look at a screen. And that's what... Yeah,
- 4:44Speaker 1: it's ridiculous. Just call me. If I don't answer, I
- 4:50Speaker 1: don't have time to talk to you. So leave a message.
- 4:53Speaker 1: It's that simple.
- 4:54Speaker 2: But to text me over a few days, do you
- 4:57Speaker 2: have time to talk?
- 4:58Speaker 1: I don't know if it was a scam. I don't
- 5:00Speaker 1: know what the hell it was. Well, thanks. I appreciate it.
- 5:03Speaker 2: Now that I know I'm not wrong... I'm going to
- 5:06Speaker 2: call my mom back today and yell at her.
- 5:08Speaker 4: R-A-4-2-5-4-7-S-7.
- 5:09Speaker 1: So I got this, you know, I got this nephew.
- 5:15Speaker 2: And he texted me over a couple of days. I
- 5:19Speaker 2: guess he wanted to talk to me, but he texted
- 5:21Speaker 2: me about, hey, are you available to talk? You know,
- 5:25Speaker 2: this is so-and-so, are you available to talk? It went
- 5:27Speaker 2: on for a couple of days, and I just didn't
- 5:29Speaker 2: even pay attention to it because I don't know who
- 5:30Speaker 2: the hell it is. You know, and then my mom
- 5:33Speaker 2: calls me, hey, why aren't you calling your nephew back?
- 5:34Speaker 2: Why aren't you talking to him? Why are you doing it?
- 5:37Speaker 2: I said, well, why didn't he call me? Well, he
- 5:38Speaker 2: texted you. Yeah, he texted you. He texted me.
- 5:42Speaker 1: He is, um, he texted me to ask if I
- 5:47Speaker 1: was available to have a conversation. Pick up the damn
- 5:49Speaker 1: phone and call me. If I'm not available, I won't answer.
- 5:53Speaker 1: You can leave a message and we'll get whatever taken
- 5:56Speaker 1: care of that you want taken care of. What kind
- 5:59Speaker 1: of stupid do you have to be to ask somebody
- 6:01Speaker 1: if they're available? RD425477A, Rome about when the text. How
- 6:10Speaker 1: about when they text you it's urgent to call them
- 6:12Speaker 1: and you call them shortly after they text message and
- 6:15Speaker 1: they don't answer. That's the type of stuff that really
- 6:17Speaker 1: pisses me off. If anybody texted me something and said
- 6:22Speaker 1: it's urgent, call me.
- 6:24Speaker 2: I would not call you. Because why didn't you take
- 6:28Speaker 2: the time to call me if it's so urgent?
- 6:31Speaker 1: That's stupid. Another stupid idea. What the hell is wrong
- 6:36Speaker 1: with anybody? What the hell is wrong with you to
- 6:38Speaker 1: do something that idiotic? All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. Yo, Rome, he's
- 6:44Speaker 1: obviously not your favorite. He's all right. Yo, Rome, I
- 6:48Speaker 1: agree with you.
- 6:49Speaker 2: He should have called you, but why didn't he ever
- 6:52Speaker 2: say who he was in the text? I guess he
- 6:54Speaker 2: thought you had him locked in. No, he said who
- 6:59Speaker 2: he was. He just told me his name. You know,
- 7:02Speaker 2: it'd be like you saying, hey, this is Joe. Do
- 7:04Speaker 2: you have time to talk? So to me, it didn't register.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It didn't really register that it was him, first off.
- 7:10Speaker 2: And then it didn't register to me that he would
- 7:13Speaker 2: be so stupid as to text me.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Just call me.
- 7:17Speaker 2: If you got to talk to me, call me. If
- 7:19Speaker 2: you want to talk to me, call me. If I'm
- 7:21Speaker 2: not available, well, I won't answer. It's that simple. RD425477. Rome,
- 7:29Speaker 2: truth is, I don't know half of my nephews, cousins, nieces,
- 7:32Speaker 2: uncles' names. Why would you know everyone else's? Of them specifically,
- 7:36Speaker 2: unless you talk to them all the time. I mean,
- 7:38Speaker 2: that's exactly. So it wasn't like I don't I don't
- 7:41Speaker 2: know him. It was just like it didn't register to
- 7:43Speaker 2: me because all he sent me was, hey, this is
- 7:46Speaker 2: so and so. You got time to talk to me.
- 7:49Speaker 2: It could have been a scam. It could have been,
- 7:51Speaker 2: you know, it wasn't a number I'd saved in my phone.
- 7:54Speaker 2: So it was just a number. But you guys are
- 7:57Speaker 2: kind of missing the point. The idea is, what kind
- 8:02Speaker 2: of stupid do you have to be to ask somebody
- 8:04Speaker 2: if you can call them? Well, I don't want to
- 8:08Speaker 2: bother you. Well, you're bothering me with the text. How
- 8:12Speaker 2: about you just call me if you want something? If
- 8:14Speaker 2: I don't answer, I'm busy. Because that's what they're asking.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Are you too busy for me.
- 8:19Speaker 1: To call you? Hey, can I call?
- 8:20Speaker 5: No.
- 8:21Speaker 1: It's just stupid. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. So my nephew was trying to
- 8:24Speaker 1: get a hold of me. And the dumbass texted me
- 8:32Speaker 1: to ask me if I'm available. First of all, I
- 8:34Speaker 1: didn't have his phone number, so just the number came up.
- 8:36Speaker 1: And he said, hey, this is so-and-so. You got time
- 8:38Speaker 1: to talk? Can I call you? Happened over a couple
- 8:41Speaker 1: of days.
- 8:41Speaker 2: At first, I thought it was just like a scam,
- 8:43Speaker 2: you know, those spam people trying to get me to,
- 8:45Speaker 2: you know, Debbie wanted to send me photos or something
- 8:47Speaker 2: like that. And then my mom calls me to get
- 8:50Speaker 2: mad at me. Why am I not calling my nephew back?
- 8:52Speaker 6: Why?
- 8:53Speaker 2: He's trying to get a hold of me. Well, no,
- 8:55Speaker 2: he's not trying to get a hold of me. He's
- 8:56Speaker 2: texting me, asking me if he can get a hold
- 8:58Speaker 2: of me. That's just stupid.
- 9:00Speaker 1: If you're trying to get a hold of me, you
- 9:02Speaker 1: pick up the phone and you call me.
- 9:05Speaker 2: And if I'm not available, guess what? I got a voicemail.
- 9:08Speaker 2: You leave a message. It works really good too. I
- 9:13Speaker 2: can even read the message when I go to it.
- 9:15Speaker 2: It has voice to text when I open up my voicemail.
- 9:19Speaker 2: So I'm trying to figure out if I'm wrong or not.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And I don't think I'm wrong. I think my mom
- 9:24Speaker 2: needs to calm down. And I think my nephew needs
- 9:27Speaker 2: to get smarter.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Hey, Rome.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Your nephew could have even texted or called the radio
- 9:32Speaker 2: station and your mom. How dare she yell at the
- 9:36Speaker 2: smartest man in Kern County, Rome? Let your nephew know
- 9:39Speaker 2: if he needs to talk. Make a call and remind
- 9:42Speaker 2: your mom who you are and let her know you're
- 9:45Speaker 2: never wrong. He should have called. He should have called.
- 9:48Speaker 2: That's what he should have done. Hey, Rome, I'm an
- 9:51Speaker 2: older millennial. I would have called you if I need
- 9:54Speaker 2: your help now. But if it was a whenever you
- 9:59Speaker 2: have time. request, then I would have texted. If your
- 10:02Speaker 2: mom got involved, it must have been important. So he
- 10:05Speaker 2: should have called. It's his fault.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Well, thank you. It is his fault.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Even if it's not important. Don't call me and ask
- 10:14Speaker 2: me if you can talk to me. Ask me if
- 10:17Speaker 2: I'm available. I'll never respond to that. Because if I'm available,
- 10:24Speaker 2: I'll pick up the phone when you call me to
- 10:26Speaker 2: talk to me.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Hey, Romeo. Hey, can I call in and win? You're
- 10:34Speaker 1: an idiot. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 10:35Speaker 2: So my nephew, he's trying to get a hold of me, right?
- 10:39Speaker 2: So this dummy, he texts me. Now, I don't have
- 10:42Speaker 2: his phone number saved under his name on my phone.
- 10:44Speaker 2: I just got his phone number. He texts me, hey,
- 10:47Speaker 2: are you available to talk? Can I call you?
- 10:52Speaker 1: And I was like, okay, who's this? I don't know.
- 10:54Speaker 1: If you're going to call me, call me. But the
- 10:57Speaker 1: stupidity of it is you're asking me if I'm available
- 11:00Speaker 1: to take your phone call. That's basically what he was doing.
- 11:03Speaker 1: And I never answered back. No, that's just stupid. So
- 11:08Speaker 1: my mom calls and yells at me.
- 11:10Speaker 2: And now I'm going to call and yell at my
- 11:12Speaker 2: mom back because the idiotic idea of texting somebody to
- 11:17Speaker 2: ask them if you can call them because like this
- 11:20Speaker 2: guy said, Rome, I just think he did out of
- 11:21Speaker 2: respect or he might be an introvert. Well, he's an
- 11:24Speaker 2: idiot is what he is. I don't know if that
- 11:27Speaker 2: what introvert means, but he's an idiot. You're going to
- 11:30Speaker 2: ask me out of respect. How about you just call me?
- 11:32Speaker 2: And if I'm not available, I won't pick up the phone.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Then you can leave a message. Is that not how
- 11:39Speaker 2: things supposed to work?
- 11:42Speaker 1: RD425477.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, that was a good one. Can I call
- 11:47Speaker 2: in and win? I know that was pretty funny. Somebody's
- 11:49Speaker 2: trying to be funny. He should win something for making
- 11:53Speaker 2: us laugh this morning. No, he should have called in
- 11:56Speaker 2: is what he should have did. He should have called in.
- 11:59Speaker 2: If you want to talk to me, pick up the phone,
- 12:02Speaker 2: dial the number. And if I don't answer, I'm not available.
- 12:05Speaker 1: To talk to you. But you can leave a message.
- 12:10Speaker 2: What did you send me here? So a guy was
- 12:12Speaker 2: brought up cheating. He talked about cheating, right? He talked
- 12:19Speaker 2: about he.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Believes that like 75% of couples cheat in Bakersfield. I
- 12:25Speaker 1: don't know if that's true or not. I hope not.
- 12:28Speaker 2: I hope it's not that high. But you're not going
- 12:31Speaker 2: to stop cheaters. I mean, I just hope it's not
- 12:34Speaker 2: that high.
- 12:35Speaker 1: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 12:36Speaker 2: But this guy sent me, he said, hey, Romeo, I
- 12:38Speaker 2: just hear you talking about cheating. I wanted to ask
- 12:40Speaker 2: you about this. My wife and I, we haven't had
- 12:43Speaker 2: sex in a couple of months. So finally I asked
- 12:46Speaker 2: her about it. What was going on? She told me
- 12:49Speaker 2: that she just doesn't want to have sex.
- 12:51Speaker 1: With me anymore.
- 12:52Speaker 2: She still loves me and cares about me. She's just not,
- 12:57Speaker 2: she just doesn't want to have sex. She says it's
- 13:01Speaker 2: not because she wants to have sex with someone else.
- 13:04Speaker 2: She's just not interested in sex. I don't know what
- 13:07Speaker 2: to do because I'm still interested in sex. I want
- 13:11Speaker 2: to have sex with her. But what am I supposed
- 13:15Speaker 2: to do if she doesn't want to have sex? Yeah,
- 13:20Speaker 2: that's interesting.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Yeah what do you do that is a very good
- 13:24Speaker 1: point so she said she's just not into sex anymore
- 13:26Speaker 1: she got medical issues or something like that it didn't
- 13:28Speaker 1: sound like it because you probably would have brought it
- 13:30Speaker 1: up she just is not interested and you were sure
- 13:33Speaker 1: she's not having sex with somebody else um then yeah
- 13:39Speaker 1: that is a very good question you probably gotta leave
- 13:41Speaker 1: her right i mean i don't even know what to
- 13:45Speaker 1: think i can't believe she told you that still loves
- 13:47Speaker 1: you wants to be with you but doesn't want to
- 13:48Speaker 1: have sex with you it doesn't want to have sex
- 13:50Speaker 1: with anybody i guess So what do you do? I mean,
- 13:53Speaker 1: you're going to have to ask her. Here's what you're
- 14:00Speaker 1: going to have to do.
- 14:01Speaker 2: You're going to have to ask her if you can
- 14:03Speaker 2: have sex with other people. And if she says yes,
- 14:06Speaker 2: then stay in your marriage, have sex with other people.
- 14:09Speaker 2: If she says no, then you're going to have to
- 14:12Speaker 2: make a hard decision.
- 14:13Speaker 1: No sex for the rest of your life or divorce her.
- 14:17Speaker 1: I mean, that's really your only options, right? Man, every morning,
- 14:21Speaker 1: I just never know what I'm going to get anymore
- 14:23Speaker 1: when it comes to you guys.
- 14:28Speaker 7: R-8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 14:29Speaker 1: A guy just texted me, and he said that his wife,
- 14:32Speaker 1: he goes, Rome, my wife and I haven't had sex
- 14:35Speaker 1: for a couple of months now. And I finally asked
- 14:37Speaker 1: her about it, and she said she's not interested in
- 14:40Speaker 1: having sex. And it's not just with him, apparently. It's
- 14:44Speaker 1: with anybody. She's not interested in sex anymore.
- 14:47Speaker 5: He is.
- 14:47Speaker 1: He still wants to have sex with her. And if
- 14:51Speaker 1: she doesn't want to, what do you do? He's asking me,
- 14:53Speaker 1: what do you do? I don't know. I mean, I
- 14:56Speaker 1: don't know. If you still want to be sexually active
- 14:59Speaker 1: and your wife doesn't, yeah, I don't know what you do.
- 15:03Speaker 2: You really only have a couple of different options. And that's,
- 15:07Speaker 2: you know, not have sex. Stay in your marriage and
- 15:10Speaker 2: not have sex. Ask your wife if you can have
- 15:13Speaker 2: sex with somebody else. She says no, and that's not good.
- 15:17Speaker 7: Leave.
- 15:18Speaker 1: I mean, you really only got, those are the three options.
- 15:21Speaker 1: That's all you have.
- 15:24Speaker 7: RD-4254-727.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, he's going to be part of that. I
- 15:28Speaker 1: guess you could just take care of yourself, but I mean,
- 15:33Speaker 1: that's not the same. Yeah, I don't know, man.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's a tough spot to be in. Your wife doesn't
- 15:42Speaker 2: want to have sex with you anymore. And you're sure
- 15:44Speaker 2: she's not sleeping with somebody else. I mean, if you're
- 15:47Speaker 2: sure she's not, she just told you she just is
- 15:50Speaker 2: not interested in sex anymore.
- 15:53Speaker 1: I don't know what you do. I would, wow. Sex
- 15:57Speaker 1: is a major part of life.
- 16:00Speaker 2: I'm not, I guess I'm not one of those people
- 16:02Speaker 2: that thinks that sex isn't a major part of life.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Just like sex is just as important as Communication and
- 16:10Speaker 1: love and caring and respect and sex is just as
- 16:14Speaker 1: important as all of those things, whatever, you know. So
- 16:17Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, ask her. I would go
- 16:21Speaker 1: with asking her first.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Well, if you don't want to have sex with me,
- 16:24Speaker 2: can I have sex with other people and we'll stay married?
- 16:27Speaker 1: Maybe she'll say yes. Try that first. She says no.
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 16:31Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 16:32Speaker 2: All right, 8-4-2-5-4-7-7. You're going to have to reevaluate. You know,
- 16:36Speaker 2: a guy texted a few minutes ago. He was talking
- 16:37Speaker 2: about his wife. Apparently, they haven't had sex in a
- 16:39Speaker 2: couple of months. So he finally asked her what was
- 16:42Speaker 2: going on. She said she's just not interested in sex
- 16:44Speaker 2: with him or anybody else. This is his story, okay?
- 16:47Speaker 2: She still loves him. She still wants to be with him.
- 16:49Speaker 2: But sex is not on the table anymore for her.
- 16:53Speaker 2: He still wants to have sex.
- 16:54Speaker 1: What do you do? Good morning, Al. What's going on?
- 16:56Speaker 4: Okay, I called you earlier, Romeo.
- 16:58Speaker 5: Yeah, what's up?
- 17:00Speaker 8: If a woman doesn't want to have sex with a man,
- 17:03Speaker 8: it's funny how he tells you half of the story.
- 17:06Speaker 8: There's a reason why she probably does not want to
- 17:09Speaker 8: have sex with him. It can't always be cheating. It
- 17:13Speaker 8: could also be his hygiene. It could also be his
- 17:17Speaker 8: weight gain. Or it could also be that he's just
- 17:21Speaker 8: an a-hole.
- 17:22Speaker 1: I'd agree with you on that.
- 17:24Speaker 8: At this point, Why would you text Romeo if.
- 17:30Speaker 4: He basically told you to your face you either have.
- 17:34Speaker 8: One thing you can change or you can just get
- 17:36Speaker 8: a divorce? Either way, I don't think choice is going
- 17:39Speaker 8: to cost you money.
- 17:40Speaker 7: Okay.
- 17:40Speaker 5: All right.
- 17:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't disagree with some of those things you've said.
- 17:43Speaker 1: I think you might be right. But what if it's
- 17:46Speaker 1: just she doesn't want to have sex anymore? She's lost
- 17:48Speaker 1: her sex drive.
- 17:50Speaker 9: Well, it could be because you have to think about it.
- 17:53Speaker 8: When women go through menopause, they go through a.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Lot of bad changes.
- 17:57Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 17:58Speaker 8: You know, he didn't describe to you the age of
- 18:00Speaker 8: the woman.
- 18:01Speaker 4: She could also have past trauma.
- 18:03Speaker 1: You know, some women.
- 18:05Speaker 3: Don't like gross sex.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Some women do.
- 18:07Speaker 8: And maybe he's just having sex the way he wants it,
- 18:10Speaker 8: not the way she wants it.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this question. Just fundamentally, let's
- 18:16Speaker 1: take everything you've said and put it aside and say
- 18:19Speaker 1: she's just decided she doesn't want to have sex anymore.
- 18:23Speaker 1: In general, what's he supposed to do?
- 18:25Speaker 7: Get a divorce.
- 18:27Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:28Speaker 1: Damn, all right. I mean, like, at least I'm being realistic.
- 18:32Speaker 10: Sure.
- 18:32Speaker 9: Why would you hold on to somebody that doesn't want
- 18:35Speaker 9: to be held on?
- 18:36Speaker 7: Okay.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Obviously, maybe.
- 18:38Speaker 9: Or maybe she's too lesbian.
- 18:40Speaker 10: Who knows?
- 18:41Speaker 1: All right. Well, thanks for calling. I appreciate it.
- 18:44Speaker 7: All right, bye.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I mean, she's not wrong. All of those things could
- 18:48Speaker 2: be a fact. But if you take it at face value,
- 18:52Speaker 2: what do you do? You know, if your wife just
- 18:54Speaker 2: doesn't want to have sex with you anymore, but she
- 18:56Speaker 2: says she still loves you, still wants to be with you,
- 18:58Speaker 2: then what do you do?
- 18:59Speaker 1: That's what he said. Maybe he is. Maybe she's right.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Maybe he's only giving me half the story. Okay? I
- 19:05Speaker 1: don't know. 3425477. I can only look at the story
- 19:09Speaker 1: at face value and give an answer.
- 19:11Speaker 2: I got a text message from a guy who is
- 19:13Speaker 2: a strange message. But take it for what it's worth.
- 19:16Speaker 2: I'm just looking at it at face value. He says,
- 19:18Speaker 2: good morning, Romeo. He says, me and my wife, we
- 19:21Speaker 2: haven't had sex in a couple of months. So I
- 19:23Speaker 2: finally asked her about it.
- 19:24Speaker 1: She said she's not interested in having sex with me,
- 19:29Speaker 1: but she says she still loves me and wants to
- 19:32Speaker 1: be with me. She's just not interested in sex.
- 19:34Speaker 2: So I asked her. She says she's not interested in
- 19:36Speaker 2: sex with anybody else. I don't know what to do
- 19:38Speaker 2: because I still want to have sex. That's a good question.
- 19:43Speaker 1: Hey, Rome, good morning. My girl doesn't want to have
- 19:45Speaker 1: sex until we're married, yet we have a two-year-old. Well,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I mean.
- 19:51Speaker 2: But at least she has a legitimate reason for not
- 19:54Speaker 2: wanting to have sex. She wants to be married, which
- 19:57Speaker 2: you can't really argue with that. This woman says she
- 20:01Speaker 2: just doesn't want to have sex.
- 20:02Speaker 1: With her husband. But I don't know what, what do
- 20:05Speaker 1: you do? Yo, Rome, tell him to go to Union
- 20:08Speaker 1: and 4th Street. Well, that's what I mean. You really
- 20:11Speaker 1: don't want to cheat. Cheating would be.
- 20:12Speaker 2: The worst thing to possibly do, okay? I mean, I
- 20:16Speaker 2: know you'll justify it, but it's the worst thing possible.
- 20:18Speaker 2: You're going to have to ask her. I guess ask her,
- 20:21Speaker 2: in her mind, what does she think your options are?
- 20:25Speaker 2: How about asking her that question? See where that gets
- 20:27Speaker 2: you first. All righty, 4, 2, 5, 4, 7. 7, Rome,
- 20:31Speaker 2: you think she's having sex with someone else, Rome? Is
- 20:34Speaker 2: that a possibility? Well, everything's a possibility. to be honest
- 20:37Speaker 2: with you. That's the first thing I thought. Well, but
- 20:40Speaker 2: according to.
- 20:40Speaker 1: The text message, he says she just doesn't, she's just
- 20:43Speaker 1: not interested in sex anymore, which, yeah, I don't know.
- 20:51Speaker 1: But what do you do? I mean, what do you
- 20:53Speaker 1: do if you still want to have sex and your
- 20:56Speaker 1: partner doesn't or your spouse doesn't? And I don't know.
- 21:01Speaker 2: I mean, anything's possible at this point, to be honest
- 21:05Speaker 2: with you. All right, so a guy texted and says,
- 21:06Speaker 2: wife doesn't want to have sex anymore with him. But
- 21:09Speaker 2: the way he made it sound is that she didn't
- 21:11Speaker 2: just not want to have sex with him.
- 21:12Speaker 1: She just doesn't want to have sex with him. So
- 21:16Speaker 1: what do you do? He's asking me what to do.
- 21:18Speaker 1: I don't know. I mean, I don't know.
- 21:23Speaker 2: Rd4254727, Romeo, sometimes women don't feel confident about themselves. Maybe
- 21:29Speaker 2: she's gained weight. Maybe menopause depends on her age. But damn,
- 21:34Speaker 2: poor guy. I feel for him. I have to ask
- 21:36Speaker 2: for it. I have to ask for it. My husband
- 21:38Speaker 2: can go a whole month without it.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Shaking my head. Yeah. I get it. I just don't.
- 21:45Speaker 1: I mean, there's a lot of reasons why. There's a
- 21:52Speaker 1: lot of reasons why. And I don't know what.
- 21:57Speaker 1: We just have to take what he said at face value.
- 22:00Speaker 1: The fact that she said she's not interested. She didn't
- 22:03Speaker 1: give a reason why. Or at least he didn't tell
- 22:06Speaker 1: us if there is a reason. Because you're right. There's
- 22:08Speaker 1: all kinds of reasons why she might not want to
- 22:10Speaker 1: have sex with her husband. And let's say they're all legitimate.
- 22:15Speaker 1: Let's be honest. Let's say they're all legitimate reasons.
- 22:17Speaker 7: Why?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Okay?
- 22:19Speaker 2: Pick your legitimate reason why. What is he supposed to do?
- 22:23Speaker 2: Just live in a sexless marriage? Because she has... I mean,
- 22:28Speaker 2: what do you do?
- 22:29Speaker 1: That's the question. The real question is if what he's
- 22:31Speaker 1: telling us is the truth, regardless of the reason why,
- 22:36Speaker 1: you know, she doesn't want to have sex with him anymore.
- 22:39Speaker 1: Let's say it's legitimate. What is he supposed to do? 34254727.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, it's a good question. It's a fair question.
- 22:52Speaker 1: My girlfriend was denying me sex also. So what I
- 22:57Speaker 1: did is, uh, women love money. So I started giving
- 23:00Speaker 1: her a hundred dollars for sex and she gave it up.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Tell him to try money, marry a prostitute. Um, or
- 23:08Speaker 1: your girl's a prostitute. Um, yeah. Alrighty. Four, two, five, four,
- 23:15Speaker 1: seven to seven. Hey Rome.
- 23:19Speaker 2: Uh, my wife withholds sex sometimes, uh, to get what
- 23:23Speaker 2: she wants. What do you think about that? Um, I'm
- 23:27Speaker 2: going to tell you like this. If a woman is
- 23:32Speaker 2: just withholding sex from you out of spite, okay, she's
- 23:37Speaker 2: mad at you.
- 23:37Speaker 1: I get it, right? She's mad at you. If she's
- 23:42Speaker 1: withholding sex because of just because she wants to control
- 23:47Speaker 1: you or there's no real reason for her to do.
- 23:50Speaker 2: It, she doesn't have a medical issue, nothing, right? She
- 23:52Speaker 2: just decides, you know what? I'm going to control this
- 23:55Speaker 2: guy with sex. and I'm going to withhold sex from her.
- 23:58Speaker 2: Then you should leave her. Wife, girlfriend, whatever. You should
- 24:01Speaker 2: leave her.
- 24:02Speaker 1: There is....
- 24:06Speaker 2: And I don't know if you guys can have this
- 24:07Speaker 2: conversation or not, but sex is a part of a relationship.
- 24:14Speaker 2: For the most part, in a normal relationship.
- 24:18Speaker 1: You know, with any outside conditions that are going on, communication, respect,
- 24:28Speaker 1: I don't know, pick whatever you feel are the five
- 24:32Speaker 1: major parts of your relationship. Sex is always one of them.
- 24:36Speaker 1: And a lot of people used to discount sex. Well, no,
- 24:39Speaker 1: sex isn't that important. It shouldn't be. Sex is more
- 24:42Speaker 1: of a superficial thing than a love thing. And the
- 24:45Speaker 1: reality is it's not.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Sex is just as much of a factor in a
- 24:49Speaker 2: relationship as respect, as communication, as love, as, I don't know, honesty,
- 24:59Speaker 2: all of these factors that you want to label as
- 25:03Speaker 2: what make a good relationship, sex is one of them.
- 25:08Speaker 2: And the minute you discount sex as being, you know,
- 25:12Speaker 2: even attractiveness is one of them, staying attractive to your
- 25:15Speaker 2: spouse or your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whoever it is, your partner, right?
- 25:21Speaker 2: If that's what you want, in your relationship, then you
- 25:24Speaker 2: should be able to have it because there will be
- 25:26Speaker 2: somebody out there.
- 25:27Speaker 1: And this is the problem. You guys say, well, once
- 25:29Speaker 1: we fall in love, once you fall in love, or
- 25:31Speaker 1: once you get married, you're supposed to love me how
- 25:33Speaker 1: I am. No, I'm not. That is ridiculous.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Miserable people say you're supposed to love me how I
- 25:39Speaker 2: am because, well, that's just the easy way out. So
- 25:45Speaker 2: you can be lazy in your relationship and not do anything.
- 25:50Speaker 2: If you're a guy out there who wants a woman
- 25:53Speaker 2: who you always want her to be, and this is
- 25:56Speaker 2: going to be very superficial for a reason, you just
- 25:59Speaker 2: want her to be 120 pounds and.
- 26:03Speaker 1: In shape her entire life. Guess what?
- 26:07Speaker 2: There's a woman out there who will do that to
- 26:10Speaker 2: be in a relationship with you. Obviously, there's a lot
- 26:14Speaker 2: of other factors, respect, love, communication, all the other things,
- 26:19Speaker 2: But there's a woman who'll do that. If you want
- 26:23Speaker 2: a man who's going to dress appropriately and look clean
- 26:28Speaker 2: every time, you know, you're out with him, and that's
- 26:34Speaker 2: something you want in your relationship with your husband, a
- 26:36Speaker 2: guy will do that.
- 26:39Speaker 1: You know? So a lot of you guys, though.
- 26:42Speaker 2: Just get complacent and lazy and accept a lot of
- 26:45Speaker 2: things you don't have to accept.
- 26:47Speaker 1: Because what, you think you're going to be alone? You're
- 26:49Speaker 1: never going to be alone. There's people everywhere.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Anybody that thinks they're going to be alone their entire
- 26:53Speaker 2: life is trying to be alone their entire life. But
- 26:56Speaker 2: then you guys settle for all these things that make
- 26:58Speaker 2: you unhappy in a relationship because you think you're going
- 27:00Speaker 2: to be alone.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You don't have to do all that. Sex is one
- 27:03Speaker 1: of them.
- 27:03Speaker 2: There is somebody out there that will want to have
- 27:05Speaker 2: sex with you as much as you want to have sex.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Okay? And not withhold it from you to kind of
- 27:10Speaker 1: control you. Same with money. There's guys out there who
- 27:15Speaker 1: will give you their money. And not try to control
- 27:19Speaker 1: you with it. All right. Hey, Rome. Cowboy is going
- 27:22Speaker 1: to go to the Super Bowl. Yeah. The Cowboys are
- 27:25Speaker 1: an embarrassment to football.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Hey, Rome.
- 27:29Speaker 1: They should have never let 21 points. They shouldn't even
- 27:31Speaker 1: let the third string quarterback for the Eagles came out
- 27:34Speaker 1: and put 21 on them. Come on now. Hey, Rome.
- 27:37Speaker 2: It's Silos. Just like expected, the Cowboys winning. The Cowboys
- 27:41Speaker 2: are going to the Super Bowl because they beat a
- 27:43Speaker 2: team that's hurt.
- 27:45Speaker 1: Go birds.
- 27:46Speaker 4: Well.
- 27:48Speaker 2: The Eagles have a better shot of going to the
- 27:50Speaker 2: Super Bowl without Jalen Hurts than the Cowboys do. Dak
- 27:53Speaker 2: Prescott is a liability to the Cowboys.
- 27:58Speaker 1: He is not good. He is a mediocre quarterback at best.
- 28:03Speaker 1: But hey, they won. They beat the Eagles or hurt.
- 28:07Speaker 1: Even Barkley. Didn't Barkley get hurt last night? So, I mean,
- 28:13Speaker 1: the Cowboys should have won that game. It's embarrassing. It's embarrassing.
- 28:17Speaker 1: that they didn't do a better job at stopping them, but,
- 28:21Speaker 1: you know, it's, they're just, the Cowboys are an embarrassment
- 28:24Speaker 1: to football. All right, what do you got here? Dak
- 28:26Speaker 1: Prescott out here throwing meatball subs every week. Oh, somebody
- 28:30Speaker 1: sent me a picture of Dak Prescott making Subway sandwiches. Oh,
- 28:38Speaker 1: that's hilarious. Yeah, he is not good. I mean, I
- 28:42Speaker 1: might have given that guy way too much credit in
- 28:45Speaker 1: the past, but, Boy, he is not good. Boy, he just,
- 28:49Speaker 1: you guys, you Cowboy fans just got to be on
- 28:53Speaker 1: the edge of your seat every time that guy steps
- 28:56Speaker 1: back to throw. You just never know what's going to happen.
- 28:59Speaker 1: It is embarrassing to be on a team.
- 29:01Speaker 2: The Cowboys, who are supposed to be America's team, who
- 29:04Speaker 2: are supposed to be a Super Bowl contender every year,
- 29:07Speaker 2: are just an embarrassment to the game of football.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:12Speaker 6: All righty.
- 29:13Speaker 1: Four, two, five, four, seven, seven.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I do want to say this because have you seen
- 29:18Speaker 2: what's going on with the WNBA finals? Apparently there's some
- 29:22Speaker 2: conflicts of interest with the NBA and NBA regular season
- 29:28Speaker 2: games in Atlanta and the WNBA finals. So I guess
- 29:30Speaker 2: they're moving them to early in the morning or in
- 29:33Speaker 2: the afternoon. They're trying to they're trying to allow them
- 29:36Speaker 2: to come into, um, they're trying to allow them to
- 29:39Speaker 2: fit into the bigger arena where the Atlanta Hawks play.
- 29:44Speaker 2: So they're trying to accommodate the Atlanta Hawks moved a
- 29:46Speaker 2: game later. Um, so that the WNBA finals could be
- 29:51Speaker 2: played earlier in the same arena. So they have two
- 29:55Speaker 2: basketball games that day in that arena. Um, People are
- 29:59Speaker 2: mad about it. Can I just tell you, this is
- 30:02Speaker 2: why I think uneducated people should not talk.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Because in the early days of the NBA, before the
- 30:14Speaker 1: NBA became so popular, and the WNBA is still by
- 30:19Speaker 1: far not even close to having the same popularity as
- 30:22Speaker 1: the NBA. But before the NBA... And maybe Gilly will
- 30:27Speaker 1: fix whatever I say wrong or one of you old
- 30:29Speaker 1: school cats, old NBA fans will fix if I say
- 30:32Speaker 1: something wrong.
- 30:35Speaker 2: The NBA in the 70s, when it was not as
- 30:40Speaker 2: popular as it is today, the.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Playoff games were actually played in the middle of the night.
- 30:48Speaker 2: They recorded them and rebroadcast them after the local news.
- 30:56Speaker 2: So why don't people, they run their mouths because social
- 31:01Speaker 2: media lets you run your mouth and say whatever stupidity
- 31:04Speaker 2: you want without accountability.
- 31:06Speaker 5: It happens.
- 31:07Speaker 1: It even happened to the NBA. Now the NBA is
- 31:10Speaker 1: hugely popular.
- 31:10Speaker 2: You got to put it on primetime, but it's ridiculous
- 31:16Speaker 2: to sit there and think that everybody's getting screwed.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Oh, they're just getting screwed over. No, they're not.
- 31:21Speaker 2: They're not as popular that you got to fit in.
- 31:24Speaker 2: And they're already making accommodations for it. But yeah, the
- 31:29Speaker 2: NBA used to have the same problem.
- 31:31Speaker 1: You know? Already 4-2-5-4, 7-7. People just need to....
- 31:39Speaker 2: They just need to get more educated on some of
- 31:40Speaker 2: the things that they talk about before they talk about them.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Live from the Just Wing It studios. That's where we
- 31:45Speaker 1: were last night. We were at Just Wing It for
- 31:47Speaker 1: Monday Night Football. The Cowboys obviously beat the Eagles.
- 31:52Speaker 7: But.
- 31:55Speaker 1: A guy got me last night. My guy got me.
- 31:58Speaker 1: So we go out there. They have great wings.
- 32:01Speaker 2: They have really good food. The pastrami is really good, actually.
- 32:04Speaker 2: But they got great food. They got cold, cold beer, man.
- 32:08Speaker 2: So a guy says, Rome, let me buy you a beer.
- 32:11Speaker 2: And I said, no, I'm not drinking tonight.
- 32:13Speaker 1: I just had some other stuff to do after Monday
- 32:15Speaker 1: Night Football, so I couldn't really be out drinking. And
- 32:18Speaker 1: he goes, oh, come on, Rome, just have a beer
- 32:20Speaker 1: with me. Have a beer with me. And I said, no, man,
- 32:22Speaker 1: I can't. I can't. He goes, well, aren't you always
- 32:25Speaker 1: saying when somebody stops by the house that it's rude
- 32:28Speaker 1: if you offer them a beer? And I know what
- 32:32Speaker 1: he's talking about.
- 32:33Speaker 2: So what he's talking about, as I said, if your
- 32:35Speaker 2: neighbor comes by or a buddy comes by and you're
- 32:38Speaker 2: sitting in the garage doing stuff or whatever, and you
- 32:42Speaker 2: offer the guy a beer, it's rude for him not
- 32:44Speaker 2: to drink a beer with you in the garage.
- 32:48Speaker 1: And he was equating that to buying me a beer
- 32:53Speaker 1: at Monday Night Football. And I was trying to figure
- 33:01Speaker 1: it out. I was trying to think about it if
- 33:04Speaker 1: it was the same thing. Is it rude if somebody
- 33:10Speaker 1: offers to buy you a beer or buy me a
- 33:13Speaker 1: beer and I say no? I don't know because I
- 33:20Speaker 1: think it's rude because I do think it's rude. And
- 33:22Speaker 1: I've said this before. If you stop by the crib,
- 33:25Speaker 1: you're one of my buddies and you stop by the
- 33:26Speaker 1: house for a minute and, you know.
- 33:30Speaker 2: I offer you a beer, a garage beer. Yeah, it's
- 33:34Speaker 2: rude to not drink it. But he might have a point.
- 33:42Speaker 2: If somebody offers you a drink. I mean, it might
- 33:46Speaker 2: be a little different for me because I go out
- 33:48Speaker 2: there every Monday and I ask you guys to come
- 33:50Speaker 2: out there as well and hang out for Monday Night
- 33:51Speaker 2: Football and you do. Then when you offer to buy
- 33:55Speaker 2: me a beer, am I being rude by not accepting it?
- 33:59Speaker 1: But that was his logic. How is it any different?
- 34:02Speaker 1: I don't know. Is it any different? already four, two, five, four,
- 34:07Speaker 1: seven to seven. I don't know what you guys think. Um,
- 34:10Speaker 1: a guy got me last night. I was trying to
- 34:12Speaker 1: figure out if he was right or wrong. Cause I've
- 34:14Speaker 1: always said this. I said, if you come by my house,
- 34:16Speaker 1: like you're one of my buddies and you stop by
- 34:18Speaker 1: for a minute and I offer you a beer, you
- 34:20Speaker 1: should have a beer with me.
- 34:22Speaker 10: Right?
- 34:22Speaker 2: I think it's rude to say no. Well, last night
- 34:25Speaker 2: I was at Monday night football and a guy offered
- 34:28Speaker 2: to buy me a beer and he threw it in
- 34:29Speaker 2: my face.
- 34:29Speaker 1: And I said, nah, I said, not tonight. I got
- 34:31Speaker 1: things that I can't drink.
- 34:33Speaker 2: Um, But he goes, well, Rome, you're always saying it's
- 34:35Speaker 2: rude to turn it down when they come to the house.
- 34:37Speaker 1: What's the difference? And I was thinking, is there a difference?
- 34:40Speaker 1: Because theoretically, I ask you guys.
- 34:43Speaker 2: To come down there and hang out with me every Monday.
- 34:45Speaker 2: I want all you guys to come down, fill up
- 34:47Speaker 2: the place. We'll have fun. We'll give out tickets. We'll
- 34:50Speaker 2: hang out, watch football, right?
- 34:52Speaker 1: So he might have a point, but I just don't know.
- 34:57Speaker 4: R-D-4-2-5-4-7-0-7.
- 35:00Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Rome.
- 35:01Speaker 2: Entitlement is an illness. Nowadays, no one wants to pay dues.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Most people don't even know there is a WNBA final. Oh,
- 35:11Speaker 2: you got regular NBA opening. Oh, you're talking about the
- 35:13Speaker 2: NBA finals.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 2: Regular NBA opening weekend, college and NFL football, and a
- 35:18Speaker 2: World Series going on the same time.
- 35:20Speaker 1: Yeah, last night. You're right.
- 35:22Speaker 2: There was a World Series, Monday Night Football, and the
- 35:25Speaker 2: WNBA finals were on. So, yeah, I agree with you.
- 35:28Speaker 2: You're right about that.
- 35:30Speaker 1: You know? The WNBA paid their dues. They used to
- 35:32Speaker 1: be a joke, actually. Not WNBA. The NBA used to
- 35:36Speaker 1: actually be a joke until it, you know, until it
- 35:41Speaker 1: was built up. All right. 8-4-2-5-4-7-7.
- 35:44Speaker 2: Rome, the guy has a point. If you ask somebody
- 35:48Speaker 2: to come over and you don't offer them a beer,
- 35:51Speaker 2: then you're wrong. You're asking people to go to Just
- 35:54Speaker 2: Wing It, and if they want to buy you a beer,
- 35:56Speaker 2: you should accept.
- 35:59Speaker 4: Okay.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Okay. Hey, Rome, it's not bad to deny the beer.
- 36:03Speaker 2: You said you had something important to do afterwards. Well,
- 36:06Speaker 2: I just had other stuff to do. It wasn't necessarily important.
- 36:09Speaker 2: And that's basically peer pressure and causing you to not
- 36:13Speaker 2: be able to do what's important to you or else
- 36:17Speaker 2: you would have took it.
- 36:19Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, that's true. You're right. I mean,
- 36:24Speaker 1: I had other stuff to do, but yeah, I just, Yeah,
- 36:33Speaker 1: I get it. All right. All right. Eight, four, two, five, four, seven,
- 36:36Speaker 1: a seven. Um, what a big art. I off, I've
- 36:44Speaker 1: offered you beer several times that just wing it. And
- 36:47Speaker 1: you turned me down every time. Oh, Roland. Yeah, I don't,
- 36:51Speaker 1: I try not to, uh, well, I try not to
- 36:56Speaker 1: drink on Monday nights.
- 36:58Speaker 6: Really?
- 36:59Speaker 1: Even if I didn't have other stuff to do, just
- 37:00Speaker 1: because I get up so early in the morning. I
- 37:03Speaker 1: can't be out all night drinking. I just can't be
- 37:07Speaker 1: out all night drinking. I got to be at work
- 37:09Speaker 1: in the morning. But yeah, so I just thought his
- 37:15Speaker 1: logic might be pretty sound. If I'm going to tell
- 37:18Speaker 1: you that if you stop by my house and we
- 37:21Speaker 1: can have a beer and you turn down a beer,
- 37:25Speaker 1: you're being rude. His logic might be sound. Me turning
- 37:29Speaker 1: down a beer when somebody offers me one in a
- 37:34Speaker 1: setting like Monday Night Football, which, you know, I'm telling
- 37:37Speaker 1: you guys or asking you guys all the time to
- 37:40Speaker 1: come to, you know? I mean, his logic sounds pretty
- 37:44Speaker 1: sound to me.
- 37:44Speaker 2: Hey, good morning, Romeo. The best beer is a free beer.
- 37:48Speaker 2: But was one beer really going to hurt you, though?
- 37:53Speaker 2: One beer's not going to hurt me, no. But you
- 37:56Speaker 2: could have accepted it, taken a sip and walked away
- 37:59Speaker 2: and left it somewhere. Now, that to me would be
- 38:01Speaker 2: being rude.
- 38:02Speaker 5: Right.
- 38:02Speaker 1: That would be more rude.
- 38:03Speaker 7: Right.
- 38:03Speaker 1: To accept it and not drink at all. I don't know.
- 38:08Speaker 7: Hey, Rome.
- 38:09Speaker 2: First off, I do think that you should take a beer.
- 38:16Speaker 2: You do ask people to go out to just wing
- 38:18Speaker 2: it and. They're being nice enough to buy you a beer.
- 38:21Speaker 2: You should have a beer with them. But what if
- 38:24Speaker 2: one beer turns into 10?
- 38:26Speaker 1: And that's not, you know, you have to say no
- 38:28Speaker 1: to somebody at a certain point, right? So, okay, I
- 38:32Speaker 1: get it.
- 38:33Speaker 2: But my thing, Rome, is about when I go out,
- 38:37Speaker 2: I might buy somebody a drink just because they're cool
- 38:41Speaker 2: or I'm cool with them and they don't buy me
- 38:44Speaker 2: a drink back.
- 38:45Speaker 1: I think that is rude. What do you think about that?
- 38:49Speaker 2: So if you're sitting somewhere, are you talking about friends
- 38:54Speaker 2: you go out with or are you talking to, well,
- 38:56Speaker 2: I guess it doesn't really matter. Friends you go out
- 38:58Speaker 2: with or just somebody there. Like I was sitting at
- 39:01Speaker 2: a table the other, the other night.
- 39:04Speaker 1: Where was I? Um, I was at, I think it
- 39:08Speaker 1: was a social house and, um, somebody wanted to buy
- 39:13Speaker 1: me a beer.
- 39:13Speaker 2: It was a group of people's four of them. I
- 39:16Speaker 2: think two couples and they, uh, you know, listen to
- 39:20Speaker 2: the show. They wanted to buy me a beer and
- 39:22Speaker 2: I took it, but I ended up buying them all
- 39:26Speaker 2: shots in return, you know?
- 39:28Speaker 1: So is that what you mean?
- 39:29Speaker 5: Is it rude?
- 39:29Speaker 2: What if I wouldn't have bought the shots what if
- 39:31Speaker 2: you would have you know is that rude if somebody
- 39:35Speaker 2: buys you a drink and you don't buy them.
- 39:36Speaker 1: One I mean you think that's rude I don't know
- 39:42Speaker 1: man I mean I didn't ask you to buy me
- 39:45Speaker 1: a drink right that's a very good question Hmm. If
- 39:52Speaker 1: somebody buys you a drink, are you obligated to buy
- 39:56Speaker 1: them one? Huh.
- 39:59Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 39:59Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 40:01Speaker 1: That's a good question. I guess it depends on who
- 40:03Speaker 1: you are.
- 40:03Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 40:05Speaker 1: That's a very good question. What did you send me here? Hey, yo, Rome,
- 40:09Speaker 1: did you know.
- 40:10Speaker 2: Rigid Force, also known as FR, had completely sold out
- 40:17Speaker 2: shows recently? And Seahawk Lou was in attendance. I did
- 40:22Speaker 2: not know that. Seahawk Lou went to the show, huh?
- 40:26Speaker 2: He went and saw....
- 40:28Speaker 1: Huh, interesting. I don't know how to say his name. Okay,
- 40:33Speaker 1: when was the show? How was the show? Did you
- 40:34Speaker 1: guys enjoy it? Somebody told me the show sucked. Or
- 40:37Speaker 1: somebody told me they had seen them before and the
- 40:39Speaker 1: show wasn't very good. How was the show? Already 4-2-5-4-7-7-Roma.
- 40:43Speaker 1: I'm not mad at you. For saying no, Rome, a
- 40:48Speaker 1: beer turns to 10.
- 40:50Speaker 2: After that one, another table is going to say, well,
- 40:52Speaker 2: you drink a beer with them, then you're even more
- 40:55Speaker 2: obligated to drink another beer with someone else.
- 40:58Speaker 1: And the cycle continues. You've got to say no at
- 41:00Speaker 1: the beginning. That's a good point. A beer turns into 10,
- 41:04Speaker 1: then it turns into shots, and the next thing you know,
- 41:07Speaker 1: I'm doing the show hungover today. Yeah, I get it.
- 41:10Speaker 1: I get it. What did you send me here?
- 41:12Speaker 5: 842-547-7.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yo, Rome. I was hoping you could help me out. Uh,
- 41:19Speaker 1: one of my coworkers, I've been trying to get a
- 41:20Speaker 1: date with her, uh, for the.
- 41:23Speaker 2: Last couple of months. She's been divorced now for about
- 41:26Speaker 2: eight months. So she's kind of been standoffish, but I
- 41:31Speaker 2: want to go out with her Rome. She finally said yes,
- 41:35Speaker 2: but I'm not really sure what to do at this point. Um,
- 41:39Speaker 2: what do you mean by not really sure what to
- 41:41Speaker 2: do at this point?
- 41:43Speaker 1: What is that? I don't, I'm not sure what that means.
- 41:45Speaker 1: You got to Okay. I'm not really sure what to
- 41:50Speaker 1: do at this point.
- 41:51Speaker 2: I want to take her out, but I know she's
- 41:54Speaker 2: just coming off a divorce, so I want to keep
- 41:56Speaker 2: it kind of casual. I want to make sure that
- 41:59Speaker 2: I don't force the issue because I kind of like her, Rome.
- 42:05Speaker 1: I'm not really sure what that means. Keep it kind
- 42:10Speaker 1: of casual? I mean... Take her to McDonald's for lunch?
- 42:14Speaker 1: I don't know. What do you mean keep it kind
- 42:15Speaker 1: of cute? What does that even mean, man? You don't
- 42:19Speaker 1: want to spook her. You don't want to freak her out?
- 42:23Speaker 1: I mean, I don't. How can you freak her out? Yeah,
- 42:27Speaker 1: how can you freak her out? What are you worried about?
- 42:30Speaker 1: She's still, if she said yes to you, She's eight
- 42:35Speaker 1: months out of the divorce. She's probably ready to get
- 42:37Speaker 1: out of there. She's probably ready to get out and
- 42:40Speaker 1: mingle again. And she said yes to you. So what
- 42:42Speaker 1: are you concerned about? I mean, obviously, you've got to
- 42:47Speaker 1: take her someplace.
- 42:50Speaker 7: Nice.
- 42:52Speaker 2: You've got to take her somewhere. See, here's what I
- 42:54Speaker 2: always say on first dates, okay? This is the thing.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Everybody wants to go to the movies. Everybody wants to
- 43:00Speaker 2: go to somewhere cheap. And you can't do that on
- 43:03Speaker 2: a first date. You have to find the middle ground.
- 43:06Speaker 2: You have to find a place that has a nice
- 43:09Speaker 2: casual vibe. You have to find a place that has
- 43:13Speaker 2: a menu that has a lot on the menu. Not
- 43:18Speaker 2: a lot, a lot, but has a variety on the
- 43:20Speaker 2: menu so that, you know, you're not stereotyped or pigeonholed.
- 43:25Speaker 2: I'm sorry, pigeonholed to just, I mean, just Italian or
- 43:30Speaker 2: steak or, you know. fish or whatever it may be.
- 43:34Speaker 2: You want to have a variety on the menu, a
- 43:36Speaker 2: little something for everybody. You want to have something that
- 43:38Speaker 2: has a nice appetizer menu and you want to go
- 43:41Speaker 2: somewhere that has a nice bar, a nice, that makes
- 43:45Speaker 2: good drinks, you know, that's what you need.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Cause you have to look at it like this. If
- 43:53Speaker 1: the date goes great. Okay. Let's say first off, the
- 43:57Speaker 1: date just goes amazing.
- 43:59Speaker 2: You want to be somewhere that, where you can just
- 44:02Speaker 2: casually have drinks and hang out after dinner, okay? Place
- 44:06Speaker 2: that has a good vibe, plays good music, that type
- 44:08Speaker 2: of stuff, okay? If the date goes bad, then you
- 44:12Speaker 2: just walk away. It didn't work out.
- 44:15Speaker 1: But ideally, you're thinking, what happens next? What if we
- 44:19Speaker 1: go out to dinner? We have a great dinner. We
- 44:23Speaker 1: have a great time. Now what?
- 44:25Speaker 2: You don't want to just leave. You want to have
- 44:27Speaker 2: a place that you can sit around, Have a few
- 44:29Speaker 2: more drinks. Have a few more, you know, and relax. So,
- 44:35Speaker 2: I mean, I go, I know two places. The two
- 44:37Speaker 2: places I go are Sonder and Social House. Two places,
- 44:43Speaker 2: two best places I know to go on a first date.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Because they both got great food, they both got great drinks,
- 44:50Speaker 2: and they both have a good atmosphere. And Social House
- 44:55Speaker 2: just reopened again. Their kitchen's back open yesterday. So now
- 44:59Speaker 2: they serve food and they're back in business. I know
- 45:03Speaker 2: a lot of people were not getting to go there
- 45:07Speaker 2: to eat because the kitchen was closed. But now it's
- 45:10Speaker 2: opening and they redid it all. So it looks great.
- 45:12Speaker 2: Food's back out on the table.
- 45:13Speaker 1: It's great food. But that's what I always tell everybody.
- 45:17Speaker 1: You guys got to go somewhere that plays good music,
- 45:21Speaker 1: great drinks. Drinks are very important. And great food. And always,
- 45:29Speaker 1: if the date goes great, you always want to be
- 45:32Speaker 1: somewhere where you can hang out for a little bit longer.
- 45:35Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying? R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. So I don't know
- 45:40Speaker 1: if that answered your question or not, but good luck.
- 45:42Speaker 1: What's up, Rome? Hey, what do you think about.
- 45:44Speaker 2: Jay-Z performing for the halftime show in L.A.? I don't know.
- 45:48Speaker 1: It's all right. Jay-Z's a good performer. I don't have
- 45:51Speaker 1: a problem with it. It's going to be better than
- 45:53Speaker 1: Kendrick Lamar. But, yeah, I mean... I don't have an
- 45:58Speaker 1: opinion on it at all. I like Jay-Z. I've seen
- 46:01Speaker 1: Jay-Z in concert four or five times. So, yeah. No,
- 46:05Speaker 1: I don't have a problem with Jay-Z. I think he'll
- 46:07Speaker 1: be fine. Let's see, Rome. What do you got here?
- 46:12Speaker 1: Does she have kids? Maybe that's why she's standoffish. Oh,
- 46:16Speaker 1: the girl.
- 46:16Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 46:17Speaker 1: He didn't say that. He just said she's coming off
- 46:19Speaker 1: a divorce. Eight months off a divorce. And I guess he's...
- 46:25Speaker 1: She finally said yes to go out on a date
- 46:28Speaker 1: with him. So, maybe.
- 46:30Speaker 2: It's probably more the divorce, though, than it is the...
- 46:35Speaker 2: But I just don't know what he means by doing
- 46:37Speaker 2: too much. That's kind of what I don't understand about it. Hey,
- 46:41Speaker 2: you have a cheese fan. On the first date, take
- 46:44Speaker 2: him to McDonald's.
- 46:45Speaker 1: No, that's stupid. That's a Raider fan for you. Cheap ass.
- 46:51Speaker 1: Raider fans can't even afford McDonald's anymore. um no first.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Date like i said first date should always be three
- 46:57Speaker 2: things good food a nice casual atmosphere where you can
- 47:03Speaker 2: just you know feel comfortable and uh a great uh
- 47:09Speaker 2: should have a good bar because that's where if it
- 47:13Speaker 2: works out great which is what you want after dinner
- 47:16Speaker 2: you want to sit around and talk for a little
- 47:17Speaker 2: while you know hang out for a little while so
- 47:20Speaker 2: yeah that's um those are the three things a first
- 47:22Speaker 2: date could have, should have, right, um, what do we
- 47:27Speaker 2: got here, so anyway, um, yeah, so like I said,
- 47:34Speaker 2: I tell you to go to all the time, because
- 47:36Speaker 2: they're great places, Social House, um, has great food, great music,
- 47:40Speaker 2: good bar, Saunders, all of the same vibe, great vibe,
- 47:43Speaker 2: great food, great music, all of it, um, You just
- 47:46Speaker 2: can't go to, like, if you go to, like, a
- 47:47Speaker 2: Mexican restaurant on our first date, that just, the variety, oh,
- 47:50Speaker 2: the variety of the menu is what matters also, you know,
- 47:52Speaker 2: because you're kind of stuck having one kind of food,
- 47:57Speaker 2: which there's nothing wrong with it. But just on the
- 48:00Speaker 2: first date, you should have a lot of options. You
- 48:03Speaker 2: should have a variety for.
- 48:04Speaker 1: Everybody, okay? Hey, Rome, I took my girl on our
- 48:09Speaker 1: first date. What did you say? I took on our
- 48:13Speaker 1: first date to Applebee's. And now seven years later, we're
- 48:17Speaker 1: still in a healthy, happy relationship together with a kid.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Applebee's might be the way to go. Maybe. That's hilarious. Yeah,
- 48:31Speaker 1: I mean, yeah. Okay. He said seven years later. Oh,
- 48:39Speaker 1: my gosh.
- 48:40Speaker 5: All right.
- 48:41Speaker 1: What was I going to say? Oh, let's get you
- 48:45Speaker 1: guys some tickets. Let me get you guys some tickets
- 48:48Speaker 1: right now. Snoop Dogg, Too Short, Warren G, DJ Quick,
- 48:51Speaker 1: Sugar Free, The Loonies, The East.
- 48:52Speaker 2: Side is all going to be in town November 7th.

- 48:57Speaker 2: for you right now. Caller number 29, 842-5477. Good morning,
- 49:01Speaker 2: how's it going on?
- 49:02Speaker 1: What's going on, man? Hey, you're caller number 29. Congratulations.
- 49:11Speaker 1: What's your name, man? Josh. Josh, why do you guys
- 49:15Speaker 1: sound so unenthused when you win something? What's that? You
- 49:19Speaker 1: sound so unenthused. that you just won.
- 49:22Speaker 10: Because it's early.
- 49:24Speaker 7: All right, man.
- 49:26Speaker 1: We got you tickets. Pass to her. Hold on, okay?
- 49:29Speaker 7: Appreciate it, man.
- 49:31Speaker 1: All right, so we do have more tickets to the show.
- 49:34Speaker 1: Just keep listening. We'll get them to you. It's funny.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Last night at Monday Night Football, Somebody asked me if
- 49:39Speaker 1: I was going to the show, and I told them no.
- 49:41Speaker 1: I said, and they couldn't believe it. Like, I'm missing
- 49:45Speaker 1: out on the second coming. Why am I not going
- 49:49Speaker 1: to the show? Well, you know how many shows I've
- 49:52Speaker 1: been to? You know how many concerts I've been to?
- 49:54Speaker 1: I always tell her, but I've been doing, just in Bakersfield,
- 49:57Speaker 1: I've been doing this show for 20 plus years. 27
- 50:00Speaker 1: to be exact. Not to mention the radio show I
- 50:03Speaker 1: did before I got to Bakersfield, which I've seen everybody
- 50:09Speaker 1: And I've been... I always joke, people ask me about,
- 50:13Speaker 1: you know, because everybody wants good tickets. And I said, look, man,
- 50:15Speaker 1: at Dignity Health, what was it called before? Before RoboBank,
- 50:21Speaker 1: it was called... What was it called in the 90s?
- 50:29Speaker 1: In the late 90s, what was the arena called? I
- 50:31Speaker 1: can't remember. Anyway, I've been.
- 50:37Speaker 1: I've seen shows in.
- 50:38Speaker 2: That arena, in the front row, in the last row, courtside,
- 50:43Speaker 2: in the middle, on the side of the stage, on
- 50:45Speaker 2: the stage, backstage.
- 50:48Speaker 1: I've seen it all.
- 50:50Speaker 7: So, yeah.
- 50:51Speaker 1: And Snoop, I mean, too short, used to live down
- 50:55Speaker 1: the street from my dad's place. I don't know Warren G.
- 51:01Speaker 1: Don't know DJ Quick. Seen Sugar Free, the Loonies, the Eastsiders. Yeah,
- 51:07Speaker 1: I've seen them all. But, yeah, I know. You guys
- 51:12Speaker 1: all want to get nostalgic and go get high. Yeah,
- 51:16Speaker 1: so it's not that big of a deal that I'm
- 51:18Speaker 1: not going. And I don't have tickets. I give them
- 51:20Speaker 1: all to you guys.
- 51:21Speaker 8: So it was called Centennial Gardens.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Centennial.
- 51:27Speaker 4: Whatever it was now.
- 51:29Speaker 1: It's Dignity Health. You're right. Centennial Gardens.
- 51:32Speaker 4: Yeah, I used to work there in the cash vault department.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Oh, that's awesome. That's awesome.
- 51:37Speaker 7: All right.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Well, thanks for calling. Appreciate it.
- 51:39Speaker 7: You're welcome.
- 51:40Speaker 1: Good morning, y'all. What's going on?
- 51:41Speaker 9: It's called the Convention Center.
- 51:45Speaker 5: No, no, no.
- 51:46Speaker 1: It was called Centennial Garden. People are blowing me up
- 51:48Speaker 1: right now. Before, in the 90s, that's what it was called.
- 51:51Speaker 7: All right.
- 51:52Speaker 1: Thanks. Yeah, what's going on? What's going on? Yeah, you
- 51:56Speaker 1: guys are up.
- 51:56Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 51:57Speaker 5: You want to pass me some tickets and I'll scream
- 51:59Speaker 5: all happy and excited.
- 52:00Speaker 1: No.
- 52:00Speaker 5: No.
- 52:02Speaker 1: Don't worry. The guy's got more tickets. Just keep listening.
- 52:07Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Centennial Gardens. Yeah, you guys are all sending me, texting
- 52:10Speaker 1: me it right now. Centennial Gardens in the 90s.
- 52:12Speaker 4: Yes.
- 52:13Speaker 1: The late 90s.
- 52:16Speaker 2: No, it wasn't Valley Independent Bank, was it? No, it
- 52:18Speaker 2: was the Centennial Gardens, right? Go Bakersfield Blitz.
- 52:22Speaker 1: Robobank. Mechanics Arena and Centennial Garden. Yeah. That's a few
- 52:27Speaker 1: different names over the last couple of decades. But, yeah,
- 52:30Speaker 1: I think when I got here. Centennial Garden, what it
- 52:33Speaker 1: was called.
- 52:35Speaker 4: Oh, well.
- 52:35Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Yo, Rome, bring them back. Oh,
- 52:41Speaker 1: the Blitz. They can beat the Raiders. What was the Blitz?
- 52:43Speaker 1: The Blitz was the indoor football team, right?
- 52:46Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 52:47Speaker 1: Bakersfield's had a nice little history of things going on, man.
- 52:50Speaker 1: A lot of fun things happened in Bakersfield. The Blitz.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Remember the Kings used to come play where the Condors played?
- 53:02Speaker 1: The Lakers used to come play a game in Bakersfield.
- 53:08Speaker 1: Used to have the Dodgers. What was the Dodgers double-A
- 53:11Speaker 1: team here in Bakersfield? Bakersfield's had a lot of cool
- 53:15Speaker 1: stuff happen throughout the last couple of decades. It really has.
- 53:18Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo, you're talking about Halloween costumes. Do you remember
- 53:22Speaker 2: when you dressed as a leprechaun in a thong for
- 53:25Speaker 2: Halloween that one year for the radio station?
- 53:28Speaker 1: I do. I do. And it was not for Halloween.
- 53:34Speaker 1: It was for St. Patrick's Day. Something we did for St.
- 53:37Speaker 1: Patrick's Day. I can't believe you remember that. That was
- 53:39Speaker 1: so many years ago.
- 53:41Speaker 2: The one thing I will tell you about Halloween is
- 53:45Speaker 2: I don't dress up.
- 53:47Speaker 1: I love seeing the costumes. I think it's great. All
- 53:51Speaker 1: the kids that dress up, they go out trick-or-treating. And
- 53:55Speaker 1: I just, I don't dress up for some reason. I
- 53:57Speaker 1: never have. Outside of when I was a kid and
- 53:59Speaker 1: I would go trick-or-treating with my cousins. Or my friends,
- 54:03Speaker 1: but I would never. I don't dress up. For some reason,
- 54:05Speaker 1: I don't know why. I mean, you're going to go
- 54:09Speaker 1: out trick-or-treating this year, and there are going to be
- 54:13Speaker 1: parents who are going to dress up and try to
- 54:15Speaker 1: scare your kids and this and that. But, yeah, I never.
- 54:17Speaker 1: I don't dress up for Halloween anymore. Ever since I
- 54:20Speaker 1: became an adult, I stopped dressing up for Halloween, but
- 54:24Speaker 1: I did as a kid. R-D-4-2-5-4-7-7. So what was it?
- 54:28Speaker 1: What was your best costume? What do you got? I've
- 54:32Speaker 1: seen a lot of great costumes over the years. A
- 54:35Speaker 1: lot of great costumes in Bakersfield. There's a lot of
- 54:38Speaker 1: creative moms and dads out there who do a great
- 54:40Speaker 1: job with their kids for Halloween.
- 54:42Speaker 2: All right, so what was your best costume? What was
- 54:45Speaker 2: your most embarrassing costume? Do you ever have to go
- 54:49Speaker 2: as a ghost? I'll tell you a funny story. I
- 54:54Speaker 2: was the only one of my cousins that lived on
- 54:58Speaker 2: the Indian Reservation. Everybody else lived in the same town,
- 55:03Speaker 2: saw each other all the time. I lived on the res,
- 55:06Speaker 2: which was about four or five hours away. And so
- 55:10Speaker 2: when I would go to Halloween, I would only get
- 55:13Speaker 2: to go, you know, when it was on a weekend.
- 55:17Speaker 2: That's when my mom would go, her and her brothers
- 55:20Speaker 2: and sisters, and they'd all get together, get them a 12-pack,
- 55:23Speaker 2: and take us all trick-or-treating.
- 55:25Speaker 1: Well, one time, it was a last-minute thing.
- 55:30Speaker 2: We were heading back to the res and they convinced
- 55:33Speaker 2: my mom to just stay. Halloween was on a Sunday.
- 55:36Speaker 2: We had to go back to the res and my
- 55:38Speaker 2: mom was just, uh, they convinced her to stay. I
- 55:41Speaker 2: got to miss Monday school, right? Didn't have a costume.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Literally took a sheet. My grandmother took a sheet off
- 55:49Speaker 2: one of her beds in her house, cut holes in it.
- 55:52Speaker 1: And I was a ghost. All my cousins had, costumes,
- 55:58Speaker 1: the plastic costumes with the masks and the suits and
- 56:01Speaker 1: not me. I was a ghost. It was funny. It
- 56:06Speaker 1: was kind of sad too. All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7. Halloween
- 56:10Speaker 1: is coming, right?
- 56:11Speaker 2: We got to talk about your costumes here in just
- 56:14Speaker 2: a minute. Some of the most embarrassing costumes you were
- 56:17Speaker 2: as a kid. But first, guy just sent me this
- 56:19Speaker 2: text message.
- 56:19Speaker 1: All right, 8-4-2-5-4, 7-7.
- 56:23Speaker 2: Hey, Romeo, I wanted to ask you about Halloween costumes.
- 56:26Speaker 2: My wife and I are going to my company Halloween party.
- 56:30Speaker 1: They're having one this year. Now, mind you, my wife
- 56:33Speaker 1: is a good-looking woman, but she's also a mother of
- 56:36Speaker 1: my three children, and she wants to dress as a
- 56:39Speaker 1: sexy cat. Sexy cat? Okay.
- 56:47Speaker 2: I think the costume is a little too sexual-y. For
- 56:52Speaker 2: my company party. What do you think?
- 56:57Speaker 1: I don't know, man.
- 57:00Speaker 2: One of the great things about Halloween is that you
- 57:04Speaker 2: get to express yourself in a way, whether it be
- 57:08Speaker 2: a sexy nurse cat, whatever, or whether it be a
- 57:13Speaker 2: ghoul or a goblin or Franken, whatever the case. You
- 57:17Speaker 2: get to do something kind of out of your character,
- 57:20Speaker 2: or maybe it's in your character.
- 57:21Speaker 1: A lot of these women.
- 57:25Speaker 2: Like you said, let me talk about your wife for
- 57:27Speaker 2: a second. I'm just assuming, unless you want to give
- 57:29Speaker 2: me more information. She's had three children. She's a married woman.
- 57:33Speaker 2: She's probably in great shape. She probably worked hard to
- 57:37Speaker 2: be in shape after having three children.
- 57:40Speaker 1: And she can pull off the sexy cat or the
- 57:43Speaker 1: sexy whatever outfit she wants to wear. So the real
- 57:47Speaker 1: question is.
- 57:49Speaker 1: Why are you not allowing her.
- 57:51Speaker 2: To do that? Because, well, let me go both ways
- 57:55Speaker 2: with it. Why aren't you allowing her to do that?
- 57:57Speaker 2: Because Halloween gives her the opportunity to do something out
- 58:02Speaker 2: of her normal behavior.
- 58:04Speaker 10: Right?
- 58:05Speaker 2: Gives her a chance to be a little freaky, a
- 58:06Speaker 2: little whatever. Push the limits of her for one night.
- 58:12Speaker 1: Now, why would it be too sexual for your company party?
- 58:17Speaker 1: Is it a professional?
- 58:18Speaker 4: I mean.
- 58:19Speaker 1: You're having a Halloween party.
- 58:21Speaker 2: So my question is, you're having a Halloween party.
- 58:25Speaker 1: Aren't people supposed to dress up for a Halloween party?
- 58:29Speaker 1: So I don't know what you're real. I don't know
- 58:31Speaker 1: what you want me to say. Okay.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Um, are you secure with your wife? Are you secure
- 58:38Speaker 2: in your marriage? Is everything, I mean, you're worried people
- 58:39Speaker 2: are going to talk about you the next day at work.
- 58:42Speaker 2: I mean, what are you worried about? You're going to
- 58:43Speaker 2: go to work on Monday and people are going to say, man,
- 58:46Speaker 2: did you see Bill's wife? She was smoking hot in
- 58:48Speaker 2: that sexy cat outfit. Or, or are you worried they're
- 58:51Speaker 2: going to, you know, slut shame her because, uh, she
- 58:55Speaker 2: dressed like, you know, a sexy cat for Halloween.
- 59:00Speaker 1: I don't know what you're asking. So I'm going to.
- 59:04Speaker 2: Go with I think it's okay because if it's not
- 59:07Speaker 2: something she normally does, then, you know.
- 59:10Speaker 1: Let her express herself for one night and enjoy it.
- 59:13Speaker 1: Guy texted me earlier, and I guess his wife wants
- 59:15Speaker 1: to dress as a sexy cat, sexy costume for his
- 59:19Speaker 1: work's Halloween party, right? He wants to know what I think.
- 59:24Speaker 1: Is it right? Is it appropriate? I can go both
- 59:27Speaker 1: ways with it. It's... But, I mean, I don't know.
- 59:32Speaker 1: What do you think? Good morning. How's it going on?
- 59:33Speaker 3: Hey, what's up, Romeo? Your question is, why wouldn't you
- 59:35Speaker 3: let your wife wear a sexy Halloween outfit to work?
- 59:39Speaker 1: Well, to his company party is what he's saying, you know.
- 59:42Speaker 6: Yeah, well, in the morning you were talking about that chance,
- 59:47Speaker 6: you know, given that chance of cheating. And then now
- 59:50Speaker 6: when you mention it, like, that only time when the
- 59:53Speaker 6: company gets to see or show off that she's sexy
- 59:57Speaker 6: is not wear the regular outfit.
- 59:59Speaker 3: You know, it's kind of contradicting, bro.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: But here's the problem with this, though. This is the
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: problem I have. Halloween is a unique circumstance for people
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: to express themselves in ways that they don't normally get
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: to do the other 364 days of the year, whether
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: it be in some psychotic, creepy way or whether it
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: be in a sexual way. So if you look at
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: it from that perspective, you have to go, wait a sec. Okay,
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: my wife is not a real provocative person. All the
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: rest of the days of the year. So if she
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: wants to step outside herself for a minute, then I
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: don't see anything wrong with it. But let me tell
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: you this as well. If a woman's hot or a
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: man's hot, it doesn't matter what they wear. You can tell.
- 1:00:43Speaker 1: I mean, come on.
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: You see a smoking hot nurse in scrubs. You know
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: she works out. The scrubs don't hide it. I mean,
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: you can't hide a physically fit person.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: No matter what you wear.
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: You're right about that. But the husband is not used,
- 1:00:58Speaker 3: like you said, since she's not used to dress provocative
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: all year, that one day it's going to throw him off.
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: And I know exactly what he's feeling.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: You know this girl's already hot and is just going
- 1:01:09Speaker 6: to take it over the top.
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: But it's Halloween. It's not like she's wearing it to
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: go to the grocery store. Halloween. Everybody's stepping outside themselves
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: and expressing themselves in a way that maybe they wish
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: they could do it all year long.
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: But.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: It's just one night.
- 1:01:29Speaker 6: One night, huh, Romeo?
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: One night.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: One night.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: Get out of here. Hey, Rome, it's okay because it's
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: his company party. If it was her company party, it
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: would be a no-no.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: So she can dress sexy to her husband's company party,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: but not her own?
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: Uh, okay. All right, 842-547-7. Somebody sent me a meme.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: It says, from Mean Girls, says, the hardcore girls just
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: wear lingerie and some form of animal ears. Good morning, Don.
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 1:02:26Speaker 9: You already know it's just a spandex leotard showing all
- 1:02:30Speaker 9: everything with some cat eyes and something dumb. It's basically
- 1:02:33Speaker 9: just wearing spanks or something, you know. And it's inappropriate
- 1:02:38Speaker 9: because it's a company. Okay, baby.
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: If you're listening, whoever.
- 1:02:42Speaker 9: Sent that in, no, she should not be wearing that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 9: If it's with you and your friends and your private life, yes.
- 1:02:46Speaker 9: But it's inappropriate for her to go to.
- 1:02:48Speaker 4: Your job, a professional Halloween party, and be kind of
- 1:02:52Speaker 4: dressed like that.
- 1:02:53Speaker 9: Who's she trying to have at your job looking at her?
- 1:02:55Speaker 10: You know what she looks like.
- 1:02:55Speaker 9: She ain't got to wear that for you at the
- 1:02:57Speaker 9: company party.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: First of all, who said it's a professional Halloween? What's
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: a professional Halloween party?
- 1:03:05Speaker 9: It's professional. It's the people that you work there with,
- 1:03:07Speaker 9: and it's controlled by the job. That's what I consider professional.
- 1:03:10Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:03:11Speaker 9: Because what happens there is going to be talked about
- 1:03:13Speaker 9: at the office. You want people talking about your wife,
- 1:03:15Speaker 9: how she had that semi-see-through sphere, you know, leotard on
- 1:03:19Speaker 9: for Halloween. It can reflect negatively on him.
- 1:03:22Speaker 6: And his job.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough.
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: Like, what is wrong with her?
- 1:03:26Speaker 9: What kind of wife is she?
- 1:03:27Speaker 4: Like, save that for your backyard Halloween.
- 1:03:30Speaker 9: Like, what are you trying to do?
- 1:03:32Speaker 4: That's the problem with today.
- 1:03:33Speaker 9: Everybody wants to be respected and treated as men and
- 1:03:35Speaker 9: women and kings and queens, but.
- 1:03:37Speaker 10: You don't behave as such.
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: Okay, fair enough.
- 1:03:40Speaker 5: It's inappropriate.
- 1:03:41Speaker 4: You know, that's just, that's stupid.
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: She's just being stupid.
- 1:03:45Speaker 9: And if I was him, that costume would come up.
- 1:03:49Speaker 2: Guy texted me earlier about his Halloween costume. His wife
- 1:03:52Speaker 2: wants to go to the company Halloween party in a
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: sexy cat outfit. Last woman that calls right is going
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: to be some see-through leotard with some cat ears, you know,
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: and she's probably smoking hot. But the guy says, you know,
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: his wife is they have three kids together. Apparently, she's
- 1:04:09Speaker 2: probably in great shape. So she wants to show it off.
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: And Halloween gives her the opportunity to show.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: It off, doesn't it? Why does that not give her
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: the one opportunity to show it off without being, you know, criticized?
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: But it is the company party, so who knows? Hey, Rome,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: tell that dumbass, let his wife do her thing. If
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: they all look at her, so what? Your wife's hot,
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: and as long as you're the only one with the catnip.
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: It's pretty funny.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: But I will tell you, though, I mean, you know
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: the other women at your office are going to judge her.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: They're going to talk behind her back the next day.
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: Unless she's really, really nice.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know what kind of relationship
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: you and the wife have with the company. So that
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: all plays a little bit into it as well. Good morning.
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: How's it going on?
- 1:05:01Speaker 7: Romeo.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: Yeah, what's up?
- 1:05:03Speaker 7: Yeah, I wanted to comment on what you were just
- 1:05:07Speaker 7: saying about the woman wearing that cat costume.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Yeah, the sexy whatever. Okay.
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: My wife has three kids, too, and if my wife
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: looks as well as she does, I'd be proud to
- 1:05:22Speaker 7: take her. You know why? Because at the end of
- 1:05:27Speaker 7: the night, who's taking her home? I am.
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: Well, I don't know. Well, this is a stuffed situation.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: I don't know if he's being jealous because his wife
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: is sexy or if it's the company thing. Do you
- 1:05:41Speaker 1: want your wife looking sexy at a company event?
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: Yes, but I mean, if he's jealous, that's a different thing.
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:05:52Speaker 7: I mean, if everything's good and he's married, why worry
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: about it?
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: You know, and you're right.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: What's the difference between wearing a sexy costume versus some
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: woman dressing just sexy in a dress for a regular party?
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: You know what?
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: I think you might have brought something up that I
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: hung up on, but I think that might be the point.
- 1:06:17Speaker 2: These women today dress sexy when they go to a party.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: What's the difference between a sexy costume and a sexy outfit?
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: Except the costume fits a little more to the occasion
- 1:06:30Speaker 1: and the outfit might be a little inappropriate. Yeah, what
- 1:06:35Speaker 1: about that? So, yeah, so this guy's asked me a question.
- 1:06:38Speaker 1: He said his wife wants to dress as a sexy
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: cat for Halloween for the company Christmas or Halloween party
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: that they're going to. He doesn't know if it's appropriate
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: or not. He was asking me.
- 1:06:49Speaker 2: Now, here's an interesting side note that somebody texted me. Rome,
- 1:06:54Speaker 2: maybe he's embarrassed of.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: Her in that costume. Now, we're assuming he did say
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: they have three kids and she looks good.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: So we're assuming she just looks good enough to make
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: that cat outfit work, right?
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: Maybe she doesn't. I don't know. Is that what you
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: mean by that? Maybe he's embarrassed of her in it.
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: I don't know. Good morning, Tom. What's going on?
- 1:07:15Speaker 7: Hey, what am I doing?
- 1:07:16Speaker 4: Hey, what's up?
- 1:07:16Speaker 3: I was talking about the situation with that guy's girl dressing.
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: Real nice like that.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:22Speaker 5: Maybe he might get lucky and she'll go out and
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: get another fine girl like.
- 1:07:26Speaker 7: Her and he can take them both home.
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: Okay. All right, good morning. What's going on?
- 1:07:32Speaker 4: Hi, I'm calling to voice my opinion about Catwoman.
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you got? What do you think?
- 1:07:43Speaker 4: No, but I mean, I feel like the guy said
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: she's had three kids. If her body is still intact,
- 1:07:50Speaker 4: you know, and she wants to put on like a
- 1:07:52Speaker 4: little sexy outfit or something and go to the party.
- 1:07:55Speaker 4: I mean, what's the problem? They said, I'm sure the
- 1:07:58Speaker 4: same people seen Halle Berry as Catwoman. You know, it's
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: not like she's going.
- 1:08:02Speaker 10: To be around there purring and crawling.
- 1:08:04Speaker 4: Across the table and, you know, in character. I mean,
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: which that might be her thing, you know, and she
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: might want to do it.
- 1:08:11Speaker 10: But I also want to know what... What company it is. Because,
- 1:08:15Speaker 10: you know, if it's that deja vu, then what's the point?
- 1:08:19Speaker 1: You know what I mean?
- 1:08:21Speaker 5: Well, yeah.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: Is she going to a party at a Catholic church
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: or is she going to a party at some one
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: of these oil field companies where they all get wild,
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: you know?
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 1:08:31Speaker 10: So that's what I'm saying. All I'm saying is I've
- 1:08:33Speaker 10: had two kids. And when I lose this stomach, you're
- 1:08:36Speaker 10: going to get a lot more calls about Catwoman than
- 1:08:38Speaker 10: on Halloween. Because I'm going to be Catwoman next year.
- 1:08:43Speaker 10: Just know that. Miami's going to take care of me,
- 1:08:46Speaker 10: and I'm going to be Catwoman.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: A guy said, hey, here's my costume, F and Cheese fan,
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: a Raider fan, and he's straight in a jailhouse uniform. Listen.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: see a rome it's not his girls it's not his
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: girl just his turn i'm not really sure what you
- 1:09:06Speaker 1: mean by that but okay good morning now what's.
- 1:09:08Speaker 7: Going on Romeo, Romeo.
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: Yes, ma'am. What's up?
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: You already know it's Halloween.
- 1:09:14Speaker 9: This is not whole activity night.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: What are you talking about?
- 1:09:22Speaker 5: You know what I'm talking about, Romeo.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: You know exactly.
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: Like, all these females, you know what they're doing. Don't
- 1:09:30Speaker 5: start that.
- 1:09:30Speaker 9: This is Halloween where, you know, it's supposed to be
- 1:09:33Speaker 9: scary dressing up.
- 1:09:35Speaker 4: But that's a whole other level right there.
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question, and be honest with me, okay?
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: If you are a middle-aged woman who works her ass
- 1:09:47Speaker 1: off at the gym, She gets and doesn't dress like
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: a hoe all year long. Maybe she a mom. Maybe
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: she a wife. Maybe she just kind of, you know.
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: You got to at least give her one night to
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: express herself in a hoe-ish way. Because, you know, she
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: didn't get. Everybody, men, women, children, everybody got a little
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: hoe in them.
- 1:10:07Speaker 5: Okay, Romeo, but take it to Vegas.
- 1:10:11Speaker 4: In Vegas, you can be whoever you want.
- 1:10:14Speaker 9: You can do whatever you want.
- 1:10:16Speaker 5: You know what I'm saying?
- 1:10:17Speaker 8: There's nights where you can go out.
- 1:10:18Speaker 4: There's stripper nights where you can go up there and
- 1:10:20Speaker 4: be a stripper for a night. Like, don't take that
- 1:10:23Speaker 4: to your work. Nah, don't take it to your work.
- 1:10:25Speaker 1: That's no activity. We go see her on Kirk Kenny
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: activities on Saturday. I just, I get what you're saying,
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: but I mean, I.
- 1:10:44Speaker 7: Don't know.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Just about the movie yesterday.
- 1:10:46Speaker 5: Oh yeah.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: We're talking about movies. Me and my kids watched 13
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: ghosts last night. My son has been wanting to watch
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: scary movies and doing really well. But tell me why
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: the kid at the end, tell me why he cried
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: at the end.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: He's 10. Not because it was scary, but because I.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: Forgot the mom slash wife died in a fire, and
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: then her spirit had to say goodbye to her kid
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: and husband before being free.
- 1:11:15Speaker 1: My son broke down. I guess he can handle the blood,
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: the gore, and fake monster scenarios, but the real life ones,
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: no good.
- 1:11:25Speaker 5: Oh, well.
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: Don't show them no Hallmark Christmas movies, then, if you're
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: going to be all like that.
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: Hey, Rome, if her workplace allows a sexy costume, why
- 1:11:36Speaker 2: not his workplace, not hers? You have to be very
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: insecure to be bothered by your wife wanting to dress
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: up sexy for Halloween. It's not like most of us
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: moms dress like that all year.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. I think that's absolutely true. You know, a
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: lot of these moms... A lot of people just kind
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: of use Halloween, especially you moms who are... You know,
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: you're not trying to be the whole mom at the school.
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: You're just trying to be a mom. But Halloween gives
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: you the opportunity, you know, to kind of let loose
- 1:12:09Speaker 1: and do something different for at least one night. Good morning,
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: how's it going on?
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: Hey, good morning, Romeo.
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: Hey, what's up?
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: Man, I think they're just hating on the girl. I'll
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: tell you what, if I had the body... You know,
- 1:12:23Speaker 5: the body-ody-ody to go ahead and wear the cat suit.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: I would. I would wear it.
- 1:12:29Speaker 5: To my husband's work to impress, you know, to have
- 1:12:32Speaker 5: him be like, you know, show off what he has.
- 1:12:36Speaker 5: But if, you know, I'm like, if I'm fluffy right now,
- 1:12:39Speaker 5: you got to keep it professional.
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: Well, that's what I'm saying. If you can rock it,
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: then why not let... Take care.
- 1:12:49Speaker 5: Show me off, husband. Show me off. If I got
- 1:12:51Speaker 5: the body... You know, heck yeah, I'm going to make
- 1:12:54Speaker 5: you look good at your party. But the problem then
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: afterwards is my husband's probably going to be jealous. You know,
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: because there's some men that are jealous. They're like, oh,
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: why are you showing it off? You know, because then
- 1:13:06Speaker 5: they get afraid that the co-workers are going to go
- 1:13:09Speaker 5: after the women. And I've seen that before.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, we do live in Bakersfield. There's
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: a lot of haters here, a lot of jealous haters.
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: You're right, you're right.
- 1:13:17Speaker 5: So that's probably why he doesn't want to do it.
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: But if he's confident in himself and in this woman,
- 1:13:23Speaker 5: you know, and she has the body, let her wear it.
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: It's just one day out of the year where she
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: can be sexy and impress all your friends and coworkers
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: and they see what you're what you have because you're
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: providing for that. But if she's fluffy, girl, you got
- 1:13:40Speaker 5: to keep it professional. Like the other girls said, you can't. Because,
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: I mean, he's got to work there the whole year.
- 1:13:45Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:13:46Speaker 1: All right. Thanks for calling.
- 1:13:48Speaker 10: Have a good one.
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: All right. Well, there you go. Now, you guys have
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: to understand. About this wife wanting to dress up sexy
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: at her husband's work party, right? He doesn't want her to.
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: Or we, you know, question it. But you got to remember,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: there are three elements to Halloween. Okay?
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: Okay.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: The kid's trick-or-treating, the kid's costume, the scary, the people
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: who are into the scary, the blood, guts, and the horror,
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: and then the hoe. Those are your three components or
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: your three elements or your three costumes as it pertains
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: to costumes in itself.
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: Obviously, there's nothing wrong with the kid's. You guys have
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: no problem with the gore, but you guys have problems
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: with the woman who wants to dress sexy.
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: And you don't even know her. She may dress like
- 1:14:45Speaker 2: a prude every other day of the year. She may
- 1:14:48Speaker 2: be the best mom, the best wife, the best whatever.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: But the Halloween gives her one chance to show off
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: her body.
- 1:14:59Speaker 1: And you still judge her. You got to let it go, man.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: You got to let that slide. That's what Halloween is for.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: One night for people to express themselves in a way
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: through costume.
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: You know, that might be different than who they are
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: the rest of the year.
- 1:15:21Speaker 7: Hey, Rome.
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: Well, it's never a good idea to show your thirsty
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: coworkers your attractive spouse. You might get some new friends
- 1:15:27Speaker 2: who might have bad intentions and can ruin your marriage
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: or career.
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: All right, Rita Robb, maybe. If you don't have a
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: solid marriage, maybe. Hey, Rome, this is why it's best
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: to have an average wife or girlfriend so you don't
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: have to worry about her being a sexy cat.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Whoa.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: That might be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Hey,
- 1:15:51Speaker 1: good morning, Rome.
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: Maybe he's one of those chubby guys with a hot
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: wife and doesn't feel confident.
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: You might be right, but you got the hot wife
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: for a reason. I don't know why.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Everybody thinks that A hot wife is just waiting to
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: cheat on you. I don't know why you guys all
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: think that.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: Hey, good morning, Rome. It's Gilrod. I think he should
- 1:16:14Speaker 1: let her wear the cat suit and be proud of her.
- 1:16:18Speaker 1: Show off.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: Make her feel good about it. Make her feel good
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: about herself. And more likely, he will get some that night.
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: Probably. Hey, what if.
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: He doesn't have the hot wife and he doesn't want
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: her looking stupid?
- 1:16:34Speaker 5: Well.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Does it really matter?
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: He said, who's paying her home?
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: I am. Sounds like she says jump and he says
- 1:16:45Speaker 1: how high.
- 1:16:46Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:16:48Speaker 1: Rome, it just depends on how sexy she's trying to be.
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: Is it like a thong and bra sexy or just
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: a tight costume? Maybe shows a little cleavage sexy. Well,
- 1:16:58Speaker 1: haven't seen the costume. Hey, Rome, women will dress sexy
- 1:17:01Speaker 1: to go to the Dollar Tree. Well, okay. Hey, Rome,
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: if he lets her go that way.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: It's going to be baby 2027 on the way. But
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: if he doesn't, then he's the insecure one. I know
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: my husband says he has only said something to me
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: when I knew something didn't look good. So this guy
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: is either going to be secured or be insecure, man.
- 1:17:28Speaker 1: Well, hopefully we'll hear what happens. Yeah, hopefully we'll find
- 1:17:31Speaker 1: out what happens, right?
- 1:17:34Speaker 10: Hey, Rome.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: Just put it this way.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: Some women are seeking for attention and other women are not.
- 1:17:39Speaker 2: I just got a girl. I just got a girl
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: by themselves and putting on that, putting in that work
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: at the gym.
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: I don't know what that meant, but okay. I don't
- 1:17:50Speaker 1: know what you're talking about.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: And what's the point of her wearing to show her
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: body off though? He's not giving her enough attention. Ask
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: your female listeners. What's the point if dressing like that
- 1:18:01Speaker 2: is when they have a man at home?
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Well, That's where you guys, this is where you idiots are.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: You think women want attention from other men. That's the
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: problem with a lot of guys. You think all these
- 1:18:14Speaker 1: women dress up because they're not getting attention from their
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: husbands or their boyfriends, and they're trying to get attention
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: from other men. That's not the case. Women dress and
- 1:18:23Speaker 1: do things because they're being judged by other women. That's
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: why they do it. Okay? They're not doing it for you.
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: Guys are stupid. You know, they can Dangle them some
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: keys in front of you and you guys will pay attention.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Where are we? Let's look at these text messages. Hey,
- 1:18:40Speaker 1: if they go and dress up, if they going to
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: dress up ho-ish and or sexy, they can't be when
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: we stare. They can't be mad when you stare up
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: and down.
- 1:18:50Speaker 2: All around inside out are you asking for eyes to
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: be to look well i mean maybe okay maybe she
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: i don't know why do you uh why do they
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: have to express themselves The day that all the kids
- 1:19:04Speaker 2: are out. Well, she didn't say she was going to
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: a kid's party. She said she was going to a
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: trick-or-treating party. She was going to her husband's work party.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: All adults, I'm assuming. But, you know.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Like I said, man, there's three parts to it, okay?
- 1:19:21Speaker 2: When it comes to costumes on Halloween. You got the kids.
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: You got the blood and guts. And then you got
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: the sexy ones.
- 1:19:29Speaker 1: So... There's nothing wrong with any of it. And you
- 1:19:33Speaker 1: guys need to understand that. A-Rome, the only problem I
- 1:19:39Speaker 1: have is when they try to make the male characters, villains,
- 1:19:46Speaker 1: monsters into sexy costumes for females, a.k.a. Jason, Freddy Krueger,
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: Buzz Lightyear, Woody. How do you feel about that? Or
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: what's your opinion? When it comes to Halloween, I don't care.
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: Whatever you're trying to do in a way to express yourself,
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: and I get where you're going with, maybe, you know,
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: because some of these women are turning these kids' costumes
- 1:20:09Speaker 2: into sexy costumes, but, I mean, be honest. When you're out,
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: for the most part, when you're out Halloweening and.
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: Trick-or-treating and all that good stuff, there are not a
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: lot of ho-ish costumes rocking around the neighborhood, okay? Okay?
- 1:20:27Speaker 1: It's mainly for parties.
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: It's mainly for women to go out with their spouses
- 1:20:32Speaker 2: or single women going out to parties.
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: And they're not necessarily kid parties. Now, you might get
- 1:20:38Speaker 1: every once in a while, you might get a single
- 1:20:40Speaker 1: mom rolling around the neighborhood because she's still looking for
- 1:20:43Speaker 1: a man or she's out there trying to do too much.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: But you're going to see her at school drop off also.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: So those are outliers. But for the most part, these
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: women like this woman who who the guy says his
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: wife wants to dress up sexy for a costume party
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: at his work. She probably only does that. She's probably
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: not doing it in an area where the kids are around.
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: She's doing it at an adult, sounds like an adult party.
- 1:21:11Speaker 2: And that's what really happens. Most of these women who
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: dress sexy are single women who are out living it
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: up on Halloween, but they're going to adult places. They're
- 1:21:20Speaker 2: not going to kid places.
- 1:21:22Speaker 5: So.
- 1:21:24Speaker 1: Anyway, I just, it doesn't bother me. None of it
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: bothers me, you know? Hey, Ron, maybe because she don't
- 1:21:31Speaker 1: look sexy and looks more like Garfield in a black
- 1:21:35Speaker 1: cat suit.
- 1:21:36Speaker 5: Maybe.
- 1:21:37Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: I don't know what she looks like, but okay. Romeo
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: in the morning. Every morning.
- 1:21:42Speaker 6: On Hot 94.1.
