Twenty-seven-year-old Pablo DeJesus Peralta Anguis just got nine and a half years in federal prison—no parole—for trafficking over fifty pounds of meth and reentering the U.S. illegally. The bust happened in September 2024 when a trooper pulled over a car on I-29, finding a duffle bag packed with 55 pounds of meth and a loaded gun. Anguis, one of two who fled, had already been caught in Arizona weeks earlier and was back in Missouri less than three weeks later—trying to stay under the radar, but the feds were watching.
