- 0:01It's Wednesday morning at eight thirty nine, and taking your calls to keep you
- 0:05smiling with the healthy play bits too. Good morning, Good morning, mister
- 0:13Sean. That's the voice I love to hear. Happy New Year, my
- 0:17friend, the New Year. How the heck are did you make it up
- 0:20till midnight? I know? I was in bed by eight. I was
- 0:24awakened by my son at at midnight a little happy New Year, dad and
- 0:29mom and mom and dad went right back to bed. How about you?
- 0:33Did you make it? You know? I campaigned to have all the kids
- 0:38stay up till midnight, which my wonderful wife agreed to. She's like,
- 0:42I don't understand why you want to put a needle in your eye, but
- 0:44you're welcome to. And so we made it up till twelve fifteen, and
- 0:48I was probably a twelve ten eight year old, and then the little two
- 0:51year old was sleeping obviously, But yeah, we made it, dude.
- 0:53We watched movies, ate good food and celebrate. It was fun. It
- 0:56is. It is a great, great time a year, this time,
- 1:00and as we look forward to the now twenty twenty four year and all the
- 1:04great things that are going to happen, I know at the O'Brien household,
- 1:07you've got a big thing coming up, little baby coming in. Yes,
- 1:12baby number five. I'm done, though I swear I'm you're saying it in
- 1:15front of everyone. I'm held accountable. You say that now, Tim,
- 1:19you say that now, And there's there's so much fun And as we look
- 1:23to the year ahead and we talk with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place,
- 1:26a couple of things. Keep in mind the phone lines they are open for
- 1:30you six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six o'aight three two
- 1:33one thirteen ten. We'd love to have you on the air with Tim.
- 1:34Also, don't forget the website finds your Healthy Place dot com or stop on
- 1:38en say hello, West side of Madison, Fitchburg, Sun Prairie locations of
- 1:42the Healthy Place. And again, phone lines are open at six oh eight
- 1:44three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
- 1:48And Tim with folks call in you spread the joy a little bit more,
- 1:51don't you a little bit little bit? Give a twenty five dollars gift
- 1:53card as a thank you, and that could be used online or in our
- 1:57stores, and it really helps my show out because it demonstrates what our amazing
- 2:00wellness consultants do every single day in our supplement stores. So now's a good
- 2:06time to call if you have a small, medium, or large health concern,
- 2:08whether it's for you or a loved one. So thank you one great
- 2:12opportunity right now to get on the on the phone lines. I know as
- 2:15the segment goes on the phone start to fill up, so right now I
- 2:17can beat that rush. Get on the air. Six oh eight three two
- 2:21one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. Also
- 2:23got some great emails as well, Tim at find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 2:28That's Tim tim at find your Healthy Place dot com. And as we
- 2:31before we get to the emails and start getting to calls real quick, I
- 2:35just want to talk a little bit about how things and you mentioned for folks,
- 2:38whether small, medium or large, any type of issue. Sometimes I
- 2:40think, and this is I feel kind of bad about this is for some
- 2:45people they think, like especially with some smaller things like nagging issues, maybe
- 2:50energy issues or other things, they just go, yeah, that's life.
- 2:52I've just got to deal with it. You don't just have to deal with
- 2:54it, do you. Yeah, it's incredible to me how amazing the human
- 2:59body is, and it's built for greatness, and it's impressive. How if
- 3:06you give the right nutrients to the human body, what can happen from a
- 3:09recovery standpoint, From a strength standpoint, energy, mental clarity, deeper better
- 3:16sleep, lower stress. I mean, we're all very aware of the negative
- 3:23consequences of stress and no sleep, you know, and so then folks will
- 3:27go on for years in these patterns with energy issues, stress issues, sleep
- 3:32issues, and all of those are connected. You know, when you talk
- 3:35about those three specific energy, stress, and sleep, there is the glandular
- 3:40system plays such a huge role in all three of those components. So when
- 3:45you strengthen the glandular system like adrenal glands, thyroid glens, your sleep sees
- 3:50a benefit, Your stress comes down, and your energy is up day one.
- 3:53And that's just like a very common occurrence in our stores. People are
- 3:58surprised, you know, they're trying to get off of energy drinks or maybe
- 4:00off of some of the sleep medications, some of the higher levels of stress
- 4:05that they're engaged in. They just want to feel a little calmed down,
- 4:10and there's natural alternatives that really work and it's not that hard. You know,
- 4:15it's not that hard to take a few capsules a day, and the
- 4:17difference that can be made is can at times be life changing. And something
- 4:21you pointed out a couple of weeks ago and it really stuck with me,
- 4:25is I think sometimes we think with even like a multivitamin, that it's just
- 4:28something that we do. Of course, you should see results, and something
- 4:30you mentioned on the program, which I thought was was very profound, but
- 4:34I think people need to understand that that should be an expectation. If you
- 4:38are taking a supplement, you should see you should see a result from that
- 4:43exactly. Yeah, there's kind of two different kinds of supplements. The supplements
- 4:46that you know, for example, that build and strengthen your cellular structure,
- 4:49like you might not notice or feel a big difference off of like methanine amino
- 4:57acid, Like you just might not feel something there. But there's two science
- 5:00that it's helping your body, right. But then there's this other group,
- 5:03which is really the larger group that we see in the healthy place. We
- 5:06have a lot of people looking to strengthen their foundational health, which is great,
- 5:11and then a lot more people looking for relief from specific conditions, issues,
- 5:15problems, and you should feel a difference. If you're taking a supplements
- 5:20for pain relief, you should feel a difference in the first few weeks.
- 5:24And if you don't, you know, consider getting a different option. When
- 5:28you take a multivitamin, I love that example because you are always supposed to
- 5:32feel an energy boost, some stress relief, some mental clarity, and some
- 5:36hair, skin and ail benefits. Those are like four big ones that are
- 5:40non negotiable. If you're taking a good quality multivitamin, you should see and
- 5:45feel a difference in those four areas. So it's it's sort of a different
- 5:48world because I started my world in a national chain health food store, you
- 5:53know, and I'm thankful for those guys and they've done some good work,
- 5:56and it was more of a you know, we don't really change lives here.
- 6:00We're going to offer what they're looking for. So they might come in
- 6:03and say, hey, do you have any uh methion, you know,
- 6:06you know, acid, and I say, sure, toss it at them,
- 6:09you know. And so then they come into our stores and the difference
- 6:13is really uh the care, you know. So you come in, Hey,
- 6:15I would like you know a larginine. Oh cool, are you used
- 6:18you know, do you mind if I ask what that you're using that for?
- 6:21Well, I'm trying to get a little more nitric oxide boost, a
- 6:24little more power strength endurance for the day for the gym. Okay cool?
- 6:28Well hey have you have you considered this along with that? Because our community
- 6:31has been noticing and feeling and seeing some results there, so then they try
- 6:34the second product, they're like, Wow, that really helped me. And
- 6:38that's the kind of business that we have. It's a very different setup than
- 6:42your standard sort of health food store. And that's where I'll encourage people.
- 6:46You know, it doesn't have to be my company, but find somebody like
- 6:48that that you can trust when it comes to natural alternatives to be one of
- 6:54the bubbles around you. You know, I think we should all have a
- 6:56team around us that sort of guides us and gives us information. And then
- 7:00you're the CEO of your own health. And I just love that mentality and
- 7:03approach and we want to fan that flame here in Madison. It's pretty amazing
- 7:06and it's a great day to take charge of your health. Be that CEO.
- 7:10It all starts with a stop, whether it's the West side Fitchburger,
- 7:12Sun Prairie location of the Healthy Place. Start that conversation with a wellness consultant
- 7:15today, it's twenty twenty four. No better day than today to get started.
- 7:19Or of course go online find your Healthy Place dot com. That's find
- 7:23your Healthy Place dot com. And of course we got phone lines open for
- 7:27you if you've got a question, love to have you join us and Tim
- 7:29O'Brien from the Healthy Place phone number six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
- 7:32That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. We're gonna get to
- 7:35the phone calls and emails in just a moment. But first you mentioned skin,
- 7:39hair and nails, and I know this time of year with the dry
- 7:43air, Oh my goodness, dry scratchy skin, your hair, I know
- 7:47folks with hair I don't have. I'm catching up with you, buddy boy.
- 7:54I hear from my wife just about about how crazy it can be this
- 7:57time of year, and that is it's interesting because we often think of external
- 8:03solutions to those things which there are. There are great you know, lotions
- 8:05and other things, but a lot of that stuff too. And correct me
- 8:07if I'm wrong, Tim, can be can be, can be dealt with
- 8:11internally by having the proper vitamins, having the proper minerals, having the proper
- 8:16things available to your body to you know, to to really deal with those
- 8:20dry skin. Yeah, yeah, you know, dry skin obviously, dehydration
- 8:26is a thing, and dryness in general. You know, there's there's dry
- 8:31mouth, there's dry eyes, there's dry skin, there's intimate dryness. I
- 8:35mean, so hydrating supplements go a long way, and for decades of fish
- 8:41oil was highly recommended, and then in the last maybe ten years, Omega
- 8:46seven from Sea Buckthorn has sort of stolen the show when it comes to hydrating
- 8:52the mucous membranes that help all these areas. You know, that meant to
- 8:54dry mouth, dry eyes, dry skin. So Sea buck Thorn, if
- 8:58you go to our website, you could type in Omega seven and that will
- 9:03pull it up. It's like an orange box, but that hydrates the nucaus
- 9:05membranes. I mean, it's fascinating though in general, just how there's nutrients
- 9:09that are working and a lot of times Sean it's like there's whole countries in
- 9:13Europe that just use Sea Buckthorn Omega seven like all day, every day in
- 9:18their medical system. And it's just it's fascinating to see. You know,
- 9:20Germany uses rlapoic acid, which is a universal antioxidant source from like dark leafy
- 9:26greens like spinach, and it converts glucose into energy, so you know,
- 9:31diabetics balancing insulin levels. Germany uses the same compound for treatment of Alzheimer's because
- 9:37it passes the blood brain barrier clearly and freely recharges mitochondria. A lot of
- 9:41benefits there. And so it's just in the States here we don't hear enough
- 9:46about natural alternatives that work. And it's not even like a mission or campaign
- 9:50to get people to try it or to go the natural way. Sure I
- 9:54personally lean that way, but it's more about having the information. You have
- 10:00terrible dry skin, and say you battle you know eggzamone, dandriff and you
- 10:05know shri assists like you want to at least know what natural alternatives are working
- 10:11around the world for that exact condition, and then you can decide if you
- 10:13want to try that, or maybe you have a lotion or potion or pharmaceutical
- 10:18drug. Who knows, And that's that's fine. The education is what I
- 10:22find so valuable to get out. It's why I love the show. I
- 10:24love connecting with you and why I love screaming it from the mountaintops. Speaking
- 10:28of that education, great opportunity. If you've got a question, you've you've
- 10:31got something you've been wondering about, Tim is here to answer. All you
- 10:33got to do is give us a call. Six oh eight three two one
- 10:35thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten. When you
- 10:39call in, Tim will hook you up with a twenty five dollars thank you
- 10:41gift card to the Healthy Place Again. Phone lines are open six oh eight
- 10:45three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one thirteen ten.
- 10:48The website find your Healthy Place dot com. That's fine your Healthy Place
- 10:52dot com. Three locations, Fitchburg, Sun Prairie in the west side of
- 10:56Madison. And again, phone lines are open for you right now six oh
- 10:58eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six way three two one thirteen ten.
- 11:03Also, we were talking about hair, skin and nails and that type
- 11:05of area. A lot of us, myself included. You don't want to
- 11:09keep that maybe that little that youthful appearance appearance, you know, kind of
- 11:13stay that radiant glow that you have and what's what I find interesting, And
- 11:18it's one of those areas that that I feel like people who take the time
- 11:22to take good care of themselves. It shows is I think of And you
- 11:26know, there are there are things you can do to cover up some of
- 11:31the signs of aging. There are things that you that folks can do to
- 11:33kind of mask that. And it's a different look than people that really genuinely
- 11:37do the right things for their body and they've got that very natural, youthful
- 11:45appearance. And that can be done also by making sure that your body's getting
- 11:48the nutrients that it needs. Yeah, it's it's really interesting. You know,
- 11:52your body has something called stem cells, and you have this like plethora
- 11:56of stem cells when you're first born, so much to the point that little
- 12:01babies or even very young children could could cut a piece of their finger off
- 12:05and it could actually grow back. That's how robust the stem cells are throughout
- 12:09the body. So recovery. You know, you break a bone when you're
- 12:13seven and it's healed by like seven pm next night, It's just like wh
- 12:16how does that happen? And then as you age, like that sort of
- 12:20slows down, like or stem cells go down, but It's not just the
- 12:22stem cells. There's your body's creb cycle and your cells mitochondria and your whole
- 12:28like system and cellular development. And when you strengthen your foundation of health,
- 12:35all of that gets a strengthening and boost and you can come at the aging
- 12:41very directly, Like there's nutrents I take, like coenzyme Q ten and our
- 12:46lapoic acid and glutathione that are strictly like nad is a really nicotinamie a powerhouse,
- 12:54like a lot of building science and reason to believe that you can slowly
- 13:00aging process, that you can you can gain back that that shine you know
- 13:05that that sort of emanates from Sean's office. So yeah, yeah, it's
- 13:11a good it's a good challenge really and good reminder that oh my goodness,
- 13:16Okay, we can we can do so we don't have to go down surgery
- 13:20routes, you know, we don't have to do things unnatural to sort of
- 13:22like preserve ourselves. Like the right nutrition, the right supplements can make a
- 13:26profound difference. Talking this morning with Tim O'Brien from the Healthy Place online finds
- 13:31your healthy place dot com. That's fine, Your Healthy Place dot com three
- 13:35locations sun Prairie, Fischburg, west side of Madison of The Healthy Place,
- 13:39stop on chat with a well It's consultant. They'd love to see you,
- 13:41and of course you can always chat online find your Healthy Place dot com.
- 13:45Speaking of chatting, great opportunity to get you on the air this morning six
- 13:48oh eight three two one thirteen ten. That's six oh eight three two one
- 13:52thirteen ten gets you on the air with Tim O'Brien from The Healthy Place.
- 13:54And Tim. One of the things too, we've talked about in the past.
- 13:56I know you've mentioned these blue zones, which are areas where where folks
- 14:00live longer and and are healthier. And one of the other interesting things is
- 14:05they look better harder. So as you're as you're talking earlier about that,
- 14:09I thought, man, not only do you do you live longer, but
- 14:13and you'll see you'll see uh a proper diet and and and and supplements as
- 14:16well, including those things. As we as we turned towards the emails,
- 14:20we got a great one from Chad. You were mentioning earlier too about about
- 14:24things like energy, drinks and others. And I know as we age,
- 14:26a lot of us start to feel more tired and we turn to some of
- 14:30these things that are just not good for us. And Chad messaged us with
- 14:33a fantastic question right along those lines. He says, I'm on the lookout
- 14:37for natural ways to boost my energy levels, steering clear of artificial stimulants and
- 14:43embracing healthier, more sustainable options. Any recommendations, And that email is from
- 14:48Chad. Yeah, Chad, really good question. It's a timely one too.
- 14:52Here in Wisconsin you got the freezing cold winter and it's dark so often,
- 14:56and in general, like mental awareness and like mental and energy and energy
- 15:01overall is can be a challenge. And so there's a three products that I
- 15:05recommend. I brought up some form of these three products for years, sometimes
- 15:11different brands, but the content has remained pretty similar. So if you go
- 15:16to our website, you can actually type in energy Bundle, energy Bundle and
- 15:20it'll pull up these three And I love to talk about them because they work.
- 15:24And there are products you know I mentioned earlier, Sean, It's like
- 15:26there's some supplements that work like foundationally, but you don't really feel or see
- 15:31a difference. And my favorite supplements are the ones that it is like the
- 15:35light goes on, you take it and you like within the first twenty four
- 15:39to forty eight hours, you feel a difference. And that's what this energy
- 15:43bundle is kind of like it's all there's non stimulant, there's not caffeine in
- 15:46it, and it's made up of three products. The first one is thyroid
- 15:50TLC, and as I mentioned earlier, your glandular systems responsible for over ninety
- 15:54percent of Like when somebody says I'm fatigued, I'm tired most of the time,
- 15:58it's connect to that glandular system. So the thyroid plays a huge role
- 16:03with energy. Iodine, holy basal selenium are powerhouses, and most are deficient
- 16:10in iodine. It's something like seventy percent. It's like the next vitamin D
- 16:15deficiency kind of comparison. It's sort of the forgotten mineral. So that's product
- 16:18number one. You feel it. Product number two adrenal boost, and adrenal
- 16:22boost is your top adaptogenic herbs, and adaptogens are herbs that helped your body
- 16:30adapt to stress. So stress in general is on all of us to some
- 16:33degree, and we want to strengthen our bodies ability to fight stress, de
- 16:38stress, and boost energy. So black maka is the gen seeing or the
- 16:44maca most well known for energy production. Rodeo Life is a patented form of
- 16:48Rodeola great for energy, stress reduction, immune boost, and then gen seing
- 16:55I mentioned helps with like your nitric oxide keeps the blood flowing to body brain
- 17:00hormones signaling associated with feeling better overall, so it uplifts the mood. And
- 17:08then the third product in the energy bundle is a multi vitamin, and you
- 17:12mentioned this a little bit earlier. I get excited when people can try a
- 17:18quality multivitamin because most of the time they haven't tried one that they really feel
- 17:23something from, and lively multi vitamin will have and the reason is because it
- 17:29doesn't Most multis don't absorb. So you have a heat compressed tablet twenty thousand
- 17:34pounds of pressure, that sucker is going to have a hard time breaking down
- 17:37unless you have a very strong stomach. And then the forms of ingredients in
- 17:41a lot of the other multivitamins are synthetic, so you get a cyankabalom in
- 17:45B twelve that your liver has to convert, and in that conversion process you
- 17:49lose a lot of the content. So when you look at a multivitamin that
- 17:52is high quality. An example is the Lively Multi. You'll have methyl kobalom
- 17:59and B twelve. You'll have proxify phosphate B six. You'll have five metho
- 18:03folate instead of synthetic folic acid. You'll have calcium ascorbate vitamin C which absorbs
- 18:08four times greater than a scorbic acid. You'll have tracks minerals which are going
- 18:12to have specific potencies and active compounds that bring the results in. And so
- 18:18those three products together people feel an energy boost on. And I recommend those
- 18:23three together every time someone's trying to like decrease their caffeine intake a little bit,
- 18:27but they still they have busy lives, busy families, busy works.
- 18:32They got to be sharp, they got to be focused, and getting those
- 18:34supplements in daily really make a difference. So I wouldn't recommend it. And
- 18:38as you mentioned, as you know, it's getting these things in daily,
- 18:41and I know with the days the way they are right now, it's especially
- 18:45hard with the shorter days and less sunshine to feel that energy. And some
- 18:49of the great stuff about getting that energy is starting that voyage two day and
- 18:53getting your life back feeling like you always love to feel some of the great
- 18:57stuff they can do for you, the hell healthy place, but it starts
- 19:00with you. You got to stop on in. I'd love to see you
