- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 0:01SPEAKER_00: Listen to what Heather just texted about.
- 0:03SPEAKER_00: This is apparently a pattern that happens in her house with her birthday.
- 0:08SPEAKER_01: Well, wait, first of all, Heather, what's your birthday?
- 0:10SPEAKER_00: 224.
- 0:11SPEAKER_01: Okay, February 24th.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: Four days after my birthday.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: I will remember that now.
- 0:15SPEAKER_01: There you go.
- 0:16SPEAKER_01: That's easy to remember.
- 0:17SPEAKER_00: She writes us, she says, this was a few years ago, but I will never forget it.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: And let me tell you before I go any further, Heather's really good at dry sarcasm.
- 0:27SPEAKER_00: I mean dry sarcasm.
- 0:29SPEAKER_00: Like some people, I mean, like, I'm kind of crazy over-the-top sarcasm because I'm really trying to drive it home.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 0:35SPEAKER_01: Like, get it?
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: Heather's really good at the dry version of it.
- 0:41SPEAKER_00: And she goes, We were out to dinner.
- 0:43SPEAKER_00: About halfway through dinner, Dan says, That's her husband.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: So uh what are we going?
- 0:48SPEAKER_00: What are you gonna want to do?
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: The way she phrases it.
- 0:51SPEAKER_00: What are you going to want to do for your birthday?
- 0:54SPEAKER_00: Boy.
- 0:56SPEAKER_00: Way to think about something, Dan.
- 0:58SPEAKER_00: There's check mark number one.
- 0:59SPEAKER_01: Feels very sentimental right now.
- 1:01SPEAKER_00: Heather says, Well, I said uh since it's today uh is my birthday, I guess this is what I'm doing.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: All the color in his face left.
- 1:10unknown: That's great.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: Please tell me.
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: Now, was this last year or was this a couple years ago?
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 1:16SPEAKER_00: She just said it was a few years ago.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Please tell a few years ago.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Please tell me that since then he has made it up to you a hundredfold.
- 1:23SPEAKER_01: I think birthdays are very important.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: I uh am obsessed with my birthday and I make a big deal about everything.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: I've been a little sick with it, that's true.
- 1:32SPEAKER_01: But do I have I made a big deal about your birthday before?
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: Okay, yes.
- 1:35SPEAKER_01: Well sure, yeah, you haven't, yeah.
- 1:36SPEAKER_01: So it's not even just me wanting it for mine.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: I want to make other people feel really special too.
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: So now we'll make it up to you, Heather.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Oh, there you go.
- 1:44SPEAKER_00: Uh 3836 said, in regard to you being a day off on your mom's birthday, panicking your father actually, you know what?
- 1:52SPEAKER_00: It's still good you did it.
- 1:53SPEAKER_00: His reaction says right out, oh my God, I'm not prepared.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: Oh, not at all.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Whether it was yesterday or whether it's today.
- 2:01SPEAKER_00: Well, so wait, is today's Gail's birthday?
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Today is Gail's birthday.
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: Um She let me sing that birthday song though.
- 2:07SPEAKER_01: Maybe she thought I was doing birthday week, so she thought, oh, this is cute.
- 2:11SPEAKER_00: Roll with it.
- 2:12SPEAKER_00: Don't tell her anything.
- 2:13SPEAKER_00: No, don't say a word.
- 2:14SPEAKER_00: Uh and uh this one came in and says, Allie, uh, at least you were a day early, not a day late.
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 2:20SPEAKER_01: Because I'm usually a day late.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: I will think of somebody's birthday.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm I all day long, oh, I gotta text, I gotta text Stacy.
- 2:28SPEAKER_01: It's her birthday today.
- 2:30SPEAKER_01: And then all of a sudden I see it on Facebook, because of course that's where you find out about everybody's birthday.
- 2:34SPEAKER_01: I see it on Facebook that 92 people have wished her a happy birthday, and the next day, sorry, girl.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 2:40SPEAKER_00: I love the fact that the story that you're telling that you were calling to bail your dad out, you literally got distracted by one of your friends in a conversation.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: And had your dad not messaged you, had he just left it alone?
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: No, he messaged me six times, but when he finally called me is when I is when I was like, Oh, I Because you got distracted.
- 2:59SPEAKER_00: Had he not reached out to you, you offering to help would have fallen completely apart.
- 3:05SPEAKER_00: That you can't write that.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: But the roses would have showed up at nine o'clock at night.
- 3:08SPEAKER_00: Well, still early than ever.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: Still early.
- 3:11SPEAKER_00: True.
