Tony Nathan broke racial barriers at Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, Alabama before helping legendary coach Bear Bryant and the Crimson Tide capture a National Championship in 1978. The following year, he was a third-round draft choice of the Miami Dolphins and made an immediate impact, garnering First Team All-Pro honors as a rookie kick returner.
