- 0:07Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 0:18slow, long, relaxing breath. And as you exhale, feel that
- 0:29wonderful feeling of release, as if tension, stress, any worry or
- 0:38pain is starting to naturally dissolve to leave your body as
- 0:48you exhale. That's it.
- 0:52Breathing in, relaxation and exhaling tension.
- 1:00Each breath takes you deeper and deeper.
- 1:08Relaxed now. That's it.
- 1:14In fact, the deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel.
- 1:21And the more relaxed you feel, the deeper you breathe.
- 1:29So just take a moment now and allow yourself to become even
- 1:39more comfortable. Comfortable in your body,
- 1:46comfortable in your breathing, and comfortable knowing there is
- 1:55nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do.
- 2:07Connect without feeling. As you breathe in and breathe
- 2:12out, each breath becomes a quiet signal to your nervous system
- 2:23that it is safe to relax, safe to slow, and safe to allow
- 2:34change to happen naturally. That's it.
- 2:41And as the conscious mind gently settles into the background, the
- 2:50unconscious mind can come forward curious, receptive, and
- 3:02ready. And I want you to think back to
- 3:07times in your past where you had some evaluation, maybe a
- 3:13progress report. Maybe the thoughts are a School
- 3:20Report card or perhaps an appraisal about your performance
- 3:27at work. But I want you to think to one
- 3:31of your best ever progress reports, the kind of progress
- 3:40report that exceeded your expectations.
- 3:46And maybe that took place in a room, or perhaps your memory can
- 3:52retrieve and recall a place like that.
- 3:58And I want you to imagine A room inside a room inside your mind
- 4:06where your unconscious is giving you a progress report.
- 4:16And once you can think of a place like that, let me know by
- 4:21nodding your head. That's it.
- 4:30Connect with that place, that feeling, and it's not from
- 4:35outside of you, it's not another person, but from within.
- 4:45Some people call it the unconscious, the Super
- 4:49conscious, the higher self. But I want you to imagine in
- 4:55that room a calm, wise, steady voice, objective, fair,
- 5:08compassionate, and deeply honest.
- 5:16And this report begins Simply hear that calm, wise, steady
- 5:24voice telling you that you are doing fantastically well.
- 5:35And just notice if you're willing to accept that, or if
- 5:40any resistance comes up as you hear the words again, just allow
- 5:47any resistance to be dialed down.
- 5:52You are doing fantastically well, and when you're willing to
- 6:00accept that overall summary, let me know by nodding your head.
- 6:07That's it. And it's not because everything
- 6:11has been easy that you're doing so well, and it's not because
- 6:17every day has felt good, but because you kept going anyway.
- 6:27I want you to feel that connection with what some people
- 6:32would call resilience or persistence or determination or
- 6:38tenacity. Some people would call it
- 6:42relentlessness. Whatever you would call it,
- 6:46connect with that feeling because it's that feeling, that
- 6:51quality which explains why you are doing fantastically well.
- 7:01You showed up, you stayed engaged, you continue to build
- 7:10even on days where the progress felt invisible.
- 7:15And that matters. Feel a sense of pride.
- 7:23When you were a child, you were told off if you congratulated
- 7:28yourself. But this is a safe place.
- 7:32Congratulate yourself not so much for the results, but the
- 7:39ethos, staying the course, doing what needs to be done.
- 7:48And I want you to feel a quiet pride now as you recognize just
- 7:55one thing of many that you've created.
- 7:58I want you to think of your book, words that came from you,
- 8:06ideas that once lived only in your mind, now shaped, written,
- 8:17published, and more importantly, released into the world.
- 8:27This is not just work, this is the very foundation of a legacy,
- 8:37something that could or will outlive moods, outlast difficult
- 8:44days, and continue to speak for you long, long after the moment
- 8:54has passed. And somewhere inside, there is a
- 9:01deep, grounded sense of pride. Not loud, not forced, but solid,
- 9:11earned. And that pride is worth more
- 9:17than any Christmas gift you ever received, because you earned it.
- 9:25And now the report becomes even more honest.
- 9:32Hear that calm, wise voice telling you progress is not a
- 9:38straight line. It never was.
- 9:43It's a roller coaster, with climbs and drops, pauses and
- 9:48then sudden accelerations, and you don't know when the next
- 9:54sudden acceleration will take place.
- 9:58And some days you move forward and some days you hold your
- 10:03ground, and even on some days it feels like a step backwards.
- 10:11And yet those backward steps are not mistakes, and they're
- 10:20certainly not failures. They're simply repositioning,
- 10:27recalibrating. I want you to feel that
- 10:32sometimes when you pull back that elastic, it looks like it's
- 10:40going backwards, but all of that stored potential can enable you
- 10:47to spring forwards because you've got too much evidence
- 10:56that sometimes one step back is exactly what allows 2 steps
- 11:03forward. And you know this now, not
- 11:09intellectually, but instinctively.
- 11:15So feel that. Feel that it's OK to take a
- 11:21pause to have that bad day. Because there may be days that
- 11:29feel bleak, heavy, uncertain. And on those days, this phrase
- 11:40will come to mind. If in doubt, zoom out.
- 11:49I want you to think of a time that you've had maybe a
- 11:51camcorder or a camera. If you zoom in on just one
- 11:58thing, you can't see the full picture.
- 12:03But when you zoom out, you get to see the big picture.
- 12:10And what if the big picture? Is that even the difficult days
- 12:16belong to a larger upward arc, not detours.
- 12:25These are part of the route. Life's delays are not failures,
- 12:34they're just timing adjustments. And I want you to think of those
- 12:40times as a child where you lined up the dominoes that required
- 12:48patience, preparation, vision, and then you tipped that first
- 12:56domino and witnessed that chain reaction.
- 13:02And I want you to think of what it would be to really feel that
- 13:09on some of those days. You're laying the foundation,
- 13:13you're lining up the dominoes quietly, methodically,
- 13:18patiently, just waiting for the moment when a single touch
- 13:26creates that wonderful chain reaction of progress.
- 13:34I want you to allow another image to form in your mind where
- 13:39you're laying tracks, railway tracks, and some days you lay a
- 13:44lot and some days just a single piece.
- 13:51Because one day a powerful, steady train will run smoothly
- 13:57along those tracks and when it does, it will feel effortless.
- 14:06Not because the journey was easy, but because the groundwork
- 14:12was done properly. I want you to feel that you are
- 14:18building the future in advance. I want you to come to a
- 14:27conclusion in this internal progress report, not just about
- 14:35success results, but physically you are getting stronger,
- 14:43emotionally you're evolving, mentally clearer.
- 14:51I want to feel the balance applies in every area of your
- 14:56life. You're physically more balanced,
- 15:01emotionally more balanced, and mentally more balanced.
- 15:08I want you to get a sense that over a period of time you are
- 15:15getting better and better. And I want you to feel that that
- 15:21progress compounds over time, brick by brick.
- 15:29I want you to get a sense that sometimes just laying a brick at
- 15:35a time doesn't feel like progress until you look at all
- 15:41of the previous bricks that needed to be laid to lay the
- 15:45most recent brick. I want you to feel that your
- 15:51subconscious mind is ready to make an even more profound
- 15:57change. I want you to ask that wise,
- 16:04calm voice, the one giving you the progress report.
- 16:11I want you to ask it based on all the information and
- 16:15experience that it knows about you.
- 16:20Give it permission to make a change, perhaps more than one if
- 16:25needed. A change that would create even
- 16:30more progress in exactly the right ways at exactly the right
- 16:38pace. And if it's willing to make that
- 16:43change, perhaps a change to a relationship with your
- 16:50unconscious thoughts, creativity, resources, or
- 16:56reducing pain. If your unconscious is willing
- 17:01to make a change, let me know by nodding your head.
- 17:22I want you to give full permission to that part, to
- 17:28think of the ideal change, and then when it's ready to make
- 17:33that change, even if it's just a change to a value, a refinement
- 17:40to a belief, unlocking a hidden resource state.
- 17:48And when it's ready to make that change and then makes that
- 17:52change, let me know by nodding your head.
- 18:12I want you to give permission to your unconscious mind to
- 18:17consider this a side quest. You are now giving it a duty to
- 18:28figure out the most profound, impactful change, to think of
- 18:33all the ramifications, and if it has an upside that far outweighs
- 18:41any risk or downside, you're giving it full authority to make
- 18:46that change in its own way, in its own time.
- 18:52Give it permission to make that recalibration happen with no
- 18:58effort, no force, just empowering your unconscious to
- 19:06make a positive change. That's it.
- 19:10And before we leave this progress report, I want you to
- 19:17allow a deep knowing to settle in that sleep is when healing
- 19:24happens, and sleep is when refinement occurs.
- 19:33The body repairs, the mind rewires, neural pathways adjust,
- 19:42strengthen, and optimize. And you don't have to control
- 19:48this, because you never did. You can trust your body to heal.
- 19:56And sometimes the most courageous and intelligent thing
- 20:01that you can do is to just get out of the way and let the body
- 20:09do what it already knows how to do.
- 20:16And as this understanding deepens.
- 20:20I want you to feel a wave of gratitude flow through you,
- 20:25admiration for your body that you can consider your best
- 20:32friend, your ally. Think of your body as a living
- 20:36work of art. And I want you to feel a sense
- 20:41of gratitude that it is always working on your behalf.
- 20:50And then in that room with the progress report, I want you to
- 20:55imagine your subconscious mind showing you your future based on
- 21:01the trajectory that you're on. I want you to imagine observing
- 21:06yourself perhaps five years, maybe 10 years from now.
- 21:14Imagine observing yourself as if you're watching someone else.
- 21:18You, but in your future, continuing to grow, to build, to
- 21:25create. And let's start one year from
- 21:29now. See that version of you less
- 21:33about what you've accomplished and more about who you are, who
- 21:37you've become, what you stand for, and how you live your life.
- 21:43What are your standards? And then five years from now,
- 21:49see that version of you, maybe with even more creativity,
- 21:55tenacity, courage, or focus. And then ten years, and perhaps
- 22:03beyond, see how you've built the foundation, what dominoes you've
- 22:12lined up, and what tracks you've laid that contributed to what
- 22:20some people would consider an overnight success.
- 22:27I want you to see momentum, clarity, and confidence.
- 22:33That's it. And you can see decisions made
- 22:37with wisdom, energy used efficiently, progress
- 22:44compounding quietly. You see someone who trusts the
- 22:49process because they understand it.
- 22:55Someone that gets the balance just right between what gives
- 23:00them a quality of life, but without becoming dependent.
- 23:06And as you watch this future unfold, you realize something
- 23:12powerful. This trajectory doesn't start
- 23:18today and goes forward. This trajectory has already
- 23:22begun decades before, and it continues naturally, inevitably.
- 23:33It just continues from here. Need to imagine shaking the hand
- 23:39of that unconscious, super conscious higher self.
- 23:47Thank them for their progress report, remind them that they
- 23:53are empowered to make a change, and then feel that it is now
- 23:59time to leave that room and float all the way back to your
- 24:06physical present self. Take a deep breath in through
- 24:12your nose and out through your nose.
- 24:18Just wiggle your fingers, wiggle your toes, connect and calibrate
- 24:23into the here and the now. That's it.
- 24:28As I now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 24:33You will awaken feeling proud of your progress, excited to
- 24:38continue the trajectory, and knowing that even on a bleak
- 24:42day, a bad day, a frustrating day.
- 24:46If in doubt, zoom out, starting to count for you to return. 123
- 24:55Waking up. 456 More alert. 7-8 Open your eyes.
- 25:01Open your eyes. 910 Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
