- 0:05Speaker 1: NFL Now is a production of the NFL in partnership
- 0:08Speaker 1: with I Heart Radio. One of the little Tones touchdown,
- 0:15Speaker 1: what a throne the corner of the ato like to
- 0:19Speaker 1: He's got a fair Christian Watson for the third time today.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Oh kitness just set there, half picked up the line
- 0:29Speaker 1: up to the coming the other way to the house.
- 0:32Speaker 1: H J. Green with a great crowds, get all flat
- 0:35Speaker 1: and hip before yard and a third and done there
- 0:38Speaker 1: he goes justin Green, rush and kron about leaving lines
- 0:41Speaker 1: in his way. Touchdown. Candy's pickers us a SHT sixties
- 0:46Speaker 1: six times, run to later her child and Taylor canting
- 0:50Speaker 1: quick touchdown. I can't fore you the go line touchdown
- 0:54Speaker 1: dinner such and in this heavy right pound the Vikings
- 0:59Speaker 1: with the yacht cow hool the Vikings when the game
- 1:03Speaker 1: of the year. I think the Bills are a really
- 1:06Speaker 1: good football team that will be playing a meaningful football
- 1:08Speaker 1: in January. It's a great atmosphere here. Um. You know,
- 1:12Speaker 1: certainly when it's a game that close, you can point
- 1:15Speaker 1: to any number of plays where the game could have
- 1:17Speaker 1: gone either direction, and we're, you know, thrilled to come
- 1:20Speaker 1: out of here with a win. Have you seen the
- 1:21Speaker 1: highlight of it. Yeah, they was showing me in the
- 1:24Speaker 1: locker room just for sure, for sure, just so just
- 1:29Speaker 1: the way my body had wind up him catching the
- 1:32Speaker 1: ball in his hands and me taking it from UM.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I mean, the whole the whole play was was crazy.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I was right in front of him, literally right in
- 1:41Speaker 1: front of when he called it. I saw Reese back
- 1:44Speaker 1: and did it. Had a little bit of O'Dell, you
- 1:46Speaker 1: know back in two thousand and fourteen and whenever you
- 1:49Speaker 1: made that crazy catch. And luckily the defender was right
- 1:53Speaker 1: behind him because it kind of helped him stop his
- 1:55Speaker 1: hand for continue going back even further and justin did
- 1:59Speaker 1: a great job of, you know, maintaining the possession of
- 2:04Speaker 1: the ball. And what a great fourth down platement. I mean,
- 2:07Speaker 1: big time players, make it, big time please in this game.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Drop the entire game. Losing sucks, sucks this way even worse. UM,
- 2:16Speaker 1: horrendous second half. I have be better. You've gotta be better.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Comes down to my shoulders, and my shoulders only making
- 2:23Speaker 1: the right decisions, making the right throws, UMM, putting our
- 2:29Speaker 1: best foot forward in practice. And this since this one's
- 2:32Speaker 1: gonna suck watching UM only ways forward. We gotta gotta
- 2:36Speaker 1: find a way to put despondence and a let affect
- 2:38Speaker 1: our next one. Yeah, and it sucks in the standings
- 2:40Speaker 1: as well for the bills. More of that in a second.
- 2:42Speaker 1: You know, we've seen kirk Cousins take everyone's chains and
- 2:45Speaker 1: go shirtless on the ride home, dancing on the plane
- 2:48Speaker 1: back to Minneapolis, Patrick Peterson doing the kirk Cousins. Can
- 2:51Speaker 1: we call this the kirk Cousins now on the way
- 2:54Speaker 1: home as the Vikings get their statement when many of
- 2:56Speaker 1: you had doubted the Vikings. I'm not saying you two,
- 2:58Speaker 1: but many of you at home had doubted the Vikings.
- 3:00Speaker 1: Many at this desk had doubt of the Vikings. Signed
- 3:03Speaker 1: me up now, Mark Ross, Tom Ella Sero. I believe
- 3:06Speaker 1: in the Vikings and Tom. I don't know if it's
- 3:08Speaker 1: the defense at Patrick Peterson forcing turnovers and key moments,
- 3:12Speaker 1: or the fact that Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson weekend
- 3:16Speaker 1: week out when they need it most, Tom have found away,
- 3:20Speaker 1: whether it's on fourth and eighteen or in the red zone,
- 3:23Speaker 1: or whenever they make the play. Lander. Let's start by
- 3:26Speaker 1: talking about Justin Jefferson ten catches for a career high
- 3:29Speaker 1: hundred ninety three yards yesterday and a touchdown. He's the
- 3:33Speaker 1: fastest player to four thousand yards, matching the likes of
- 3:36Speaker 1: Lance Allworth and Odell Beckham Jr. We are watching greatness
- 3:41Speaker 1: and it seems like a game like that probably brings
- 3:43Speaker 1: the rest of the country around something that I was
- 3:45Speaker 1: saying back in the summer, which is this guy might
- 3:47Speaker 1: be the best wide receiver in the NFL, and it's
- 3:50Speaker 1: changing the way that the Vikings play offense. Kevin O'Connell
- 3:54Speaker 1: talked about it after that game that on the fourth
- 3:56Speaker 1: and eight team play, this wasn't something about scheming things up.
- 3:59Speaker 1: He told Kirk cousin, just give our guy a chance
- 4:02Speaker 1: to make a play. Well, he makes one of the
- 4:03Speaker 1: most spectacular plays that we've ever seen. Dalvin Cook ripped
- 4:07Speaker 1: off a huge touchdown run in this game. You're seeing
- 4:09Speaker 1: the Vikings offense start to find their identity here and
- 4:12Speaker 1: on the defensive side of the ball, They're not perfect.
- 4:15Speaker 1: They gave up close to five yards. I'll be into
- 4:17Speaker 1: a high powered offense with Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs and
- 4:20Speaker 1: company here, but they had four takeaways, including Patrick Peterson's
- 4:23Speaker 1: interception that sealed it. Within that game, they can continue
- 4:27Speaker 1: to improve here, They're players still play in these one
- 4:29Speaker 1: score games week in week out. If they can continue
- 4:32Speaker 1: to improve, there's no telling how tough they could potentially become.
- 4:35Speaker 1: January the seventh straight wins by one score, So we're
- 4:39Speaker 1: saying eight points. Calling that one score a touchdown at
- 4:42Speaker 1: a two point conversion is the longest in NFL history.
- 4:46Speaker 1: It ties the streak the Chiefs Patrick Mahomes did it
- 4:48Speaker 1: back in so they have done it in the fourth quarter.
- 4:54Speaker 1: The Bills have not partly marked because Josh Allen keeps
- 4:58Speaker 1: throwing red zone picks. And we've seen this movie where
- 5:01Speaker 1: they're great in the first half and they get sloppy
- 5:04Speaker 1: in the second half and it comes back to kill him,
- 5:07Speaker 1: no question, Andrew, and we've seen this movie with Josh Allen.
- 5:10Speaker 1: And remember a few weeks ago against the Packers in
- 5:13Speaker 1: the second half when he threw those two bad interceptions,
- 5:15Speaker 1: But we just kind of laughed at off saying, oh,
- 5:17Speaker 1: they were just just sleep walking through the second half.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Josh just made mistakes. Then last week against the Jets,
- 5:24Speaker 1: he throws two more horrendous interceptions where he has no
- 5:27Speaker 1: one to blame but himself, And you're saying what is
- 5:29Speaker 1: he doing? And then yesterday he throws two more interceptions
- 5:32Speaker 1: where clear clear throws and he just throws it to
- 5:35Speaker 1: a defender to go along with the fumble, trying to
- 5:38Speaker 1: get out the end zone. So that's the concern with
- 5:41Speaker 1: Josh Allen is that, Okay, you have these mind blowing
- 5:45Speaker 1: mistakes and turnovers and you'd say, well, if this wasn't
- 5:48Speaker 1: in his d NA, we could laugh it off. But
- 5:50Speaker 1: he's been this Josh Allen at the start of his
- 5:53Speaker 1: career and people wondered if he would ever ascend to
- 5:55Speaker 1: be an elite quarterback because he had all these turnovers
- 5:59Speaker 1: that looked really bad. So that's what the word he is.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Is he going to revert back to that Josh Allen?
- 6:04Speaker 1: Is this who he really is? Or is he the
- 6:06Speaker 1: Josh Allen who straightened it out for last season season
- 6:09Speaker 1: and a half and played well. That's what the Bills
- 6:12Speaker 1: have to be really looking at. And as you mentioned
- 6:14Speaker 1: about the Vikings winning close games, another part of this
- 6:18Speaker 1: DNA with the Bills and Josh Allen is that they
- 6:20Speaker 1: don't win these close games either blow teams out things
- 6:23Speaker 1: are going well front runners, or once they get tight,
- 6:26Speaker 1: they lose so that has to be a lot of
- 6:28Speaker 1: ankst with the Bills. Now. I think they will straighten
- 6:30Speaker 1: it out. But if we put another game together like
- 6:33Speaker 1: this with Josh Allen, teams know this is always there
- 6:35Speaker 1: with him, get him in pressure situations, will he finally
- 6:38Speaker 1: step up? Andrew? Look, it's not as if they can't
- 6:41Speaker 1: win close games. They've done it on the road this
- 6:43Speaker 1: year at Baltimore at Kansas City, two good teams that
- 6:46Speaker 1: are in the playoffs today if the season were to end.
- 6:49Speaker 1: But it is an overall trend here, obviously, and with
- 6:52Speaker 1: that loss, the Bills go from the one seed, the
- 6:56Speaker 1: prohibitive favorite in the a f C a couple of
- 6:58Speaker 1: weeks ago, and they're now all the way down at
- 7:00Speaker 1: the sixth seed and they would have to go to tennis.
- 7:05Speaker 1: See again, hypothetical here through ten weeks of the NFL season.
- 7:10Speaker 1: All right, thank you Mark, thank you Tom. Both back
- 7:13Speaker 1: shortly here, let's get to two. A tongue of below
- 7:15Speaker 1: on the Dolphins, because they are at seven and three
- 7:17Speaker 1: and the two seed now, and they barely broke a sweat,
- 7:20Speaker 1: considering it was eighty five degrees yesterday in Miami in
- 7:24Speaker 1: their win over the Browns. They are now seven and
- 7:26Speaker 1: oh in games that to a starts and finishes. Uh,
- 7:30Speaker 1: this was just a whole hum performance for two of
- 7:34Speaker 1: thirty two to eighty five and three and the team
- 7:37Speaker 1: ran for a buck ninety five. Jeff Wilson and Rheem
- 7:39Speaker 1: Moster both get in the end zone and this is
- 7:42Speaker 1: a laugher at the end thirty nine to seven team.
- 7:46Speaker 1: Every single team from the a f C East is
- 7:49Speaker 1: in the playoffs right now, all four of them. We
- 7:53Speaker 1: have never had all four teams from a division make
- 7:58Speaker 1: the postseason. Now. We have had four teams make it
- 8:01Speaker 1: when there were five team divisions, but never in this
- 8:05Speaker 1: format have we gone four for four. The a f
- 8:08Speaker 1: C East is trying to do that. Remember how we
- 8:10Speaker 1: thought the a f C West or the NFC West
- 8:12Speaker 1: might be the best division in the football. It is
- 8:14Speaker 1: clearly clearly the a f C East. Tom Ian Rappaport
- 8:19Speaker 1: with me now part of the n f C West
- 8:21Speaker 1: issues obviously as injuries, the Niners, the Rams here, Uh
- 8:24Speaker 1: they're adding up Ian. What do we know about Cooper
- 8:26Speaker 1: cups ankle injury late in the game That looked pretty bad. Yeah,
- 8:31Speaker 1: I look pretty painful. Genre actually saying yeah, look pretty bad.
- 8:34Speaker 1: He is having more tests today to determine just how
- 8:37Speaker 1: serious and significant it is. It seemed Andrew like the
- 8:40Speaker 1: Los Angeles Rams did not have the worst case scenario
- 8:44Speaker 1: for Cooper Cup. No break, it seems like, which is
- 8:47Speaker 1: probably good news you look at the way it lands.
- 8:49Speaker 1: It seems to be one where in the wrong situation
- 8:52Speaker 1: couldn't end up being a fracture. Not the case here.
- 8:55Speaker 1: That is good news, but still expected to miss some
- 8:58Speaker 1: time and the worry is that it is some sort
- 9:00Speaker 1: of a high ankle sprain. We'll see how severe that
- 9:02Speaker 1: is and the m r I obviously is going to
- 9:05Speaker 1: tell more, but that is at least what they're looking
- 9:07Speaker 1: at right now, So more information as it comes in
- 9:10Speaker 1: Cooper Cup. Likely he is going to miss uh the
- 9:12Speaker 1: coming games. Meanwhile, speaking of players who are going to
- 9:16Speaker 1: miss games, Chase Young not going to play tonight, not
- 9:19Speaker 1: gonna be activated off the pu plis for the Washington Commanders.
- 9:22Speaker 1: You know, there was some hope that possibly he maybe
- 9:24Speaker 1: as his three week practice window wraps up, just not
- 9:28Speaker 1: quite ready for tonight's game. Sounds like next week is
- 9:31Speaker 1: probably when you're going to see Chase Young. Part of
- 9:33Speaker 1: the reason why they practice indoors last week. They weren't
- 9:36Speaker 1: able to get him out on the field doing as
- 9:38Speaker 1: much as they wanted. So fast forward to next week
- 9:41Speaker 1: and then you'll probably see chasing all right, and Taylor
- 9:43Speaker 1: Heineke is still the Commander's quarterback tonight with Carson Wentz
- 9:47Speaker 1: on injured reserve. Talking quarterbacks here, Tom, let's talk about
- 9:51Speaker 1: Carolina because p J. Walker came out of that game
- 9:53Speaker 1: Thursday night in the rain with an ankle sprain, which
- 9:56Speaker 1: means they're making a change again. That's right, Andrew, And
- 10:01Speaker 1: this is a bit of a surprise because p J.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Walker finished out that game. Team gutted it out, as
- 10:06Speaker 1: Steve Wilkes put it today. But the expectation he's not
- 10:09Speaker 1: going to be ready to go, which means Baker Mayfield
- 10:12Speaker 1: gets another opportunity to beat the Panthers starting quarterback and
- 10:15Speaker 1: it will be Sam Dartled serving as Mayfield's back up
- 10:19Speaker 1: this week against the Ravens. Now Walker did say he
- 10:23Speaker 1: hopes he can practice this week, Mills Wilkes making very
- 10:26Speaker 1: clear that they're not going to go that direction. It's
- 10:29Speaker 1: a team that is still hanging in the NFC South
- 10:32Speaker 1: playoff picture at this stage and now Baker Mayfield, who
- 10:35Speaker 1: entered the season as the starter, gets another opportunity. Meanwhile,
- 10:39Speaker 1: in Houston, Texans coach love Me Smith said he did
- 10:42Speaker 1: not give any thought and will not at this stage
- 10:44Speaker 1: give any thought to Benjing Davis Mills amidst another loss.
- 10:48Speaker 1: The Texans are a team that is the worst record
- 10:51Speaker 1: in the NFL. They've got one of the worst offenses
- 10:54Speaker 1: in the NFL. But Lovely Smith has been a strong
- 10:57Speaker 1: supporter of Davis Mills going back all the way through
- 11:00Speaker 1: the off season. Lovey Smith did not even want to
- 11:02Speaker 1: bring in a veteran to compete with Davis Mills for
- 11:05Speaker 1: of that job. As love You put it yesterday, quarterback
- 11:07Speaker 1: is a different position, and frankly, when the other options
- 11:10Speaker 1: on the roster are going to Kyle Allen or Jeff
- 11:13Speaker 1: drisk will not some young recent draft pick you're trying
- 11:15Speaker 1: to evaluate for the future. Probably not a surprise that
- 11:18Speaker 1: they're gonna see whether Davis Mills can play through this
- 11:20Speaker 1: and be better on the other show up with eyes
- 11:22Speaker 1: on next year. Right now, the Texans do have the
- 11:24Speaker 1: first pick in the three draft at one, seven and one,
- 11:29Speaker 1: and they hold the Browns first round pick as well.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Coming up next How about this highlight from Matt Ryan.
- 11:37Speaker 1: This run was longer than any career rushing game he
- 11:41Speaker 1: had ever had. Indie with an amazing story. Next. All right,
- 11:49Speaker 1: you're watching NFL now NFL Network. Chiefs coming off the
- 11:52Speaker 1: big win over the Titans on Sunday, I Patrick Mahomes
- 11:54Speaker 1: entered the game against the Jaguars, leading the NFL with
- 11:57Speaker 1: twenty one touchdown receptions. He would throw four where twenty
- 12:01Speaker 1: one touchdown passes to get to twenty five. We show
- 12:04Speaker 1: you this can areas Tony touchdown because you see twenty
- 12:07Speaker 1: point four in the next Gen Stats era powered by AWS.
- 12:12Speaker 1: That is the most open any receiver has been in
- 12:16Speaker 1: six years. Ever, like six years ever. Twenty point four
- 12:22Speaker 1: Mahomes throws four touchdowns. He leads the NFL with twenty
- 12:26Speaker 1: five on the season, and the Chiefs are the number
- 12:29Speaker 1: one seed in the a f C Today after ten weeks,
- 12:33Speaker 1: Ryan Tannehill back after missing a couple of games. They
- 12:35Speaker 1: went into their bag of tricks and they beat the Broncos.
- 12:38Speaker 1: Flee flicker Nick Westbrook a Kina had two touchdowns on
- 12:42Speaker 1: the day. This is a sixty three yard score here
- 12:47Speaker 1: that gave the Titans the lead fourteen to tan. Russell
- 12:49Speaker 1: Wilson and the Broncos had been out to the early lead.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Then the old line injuries piled up, and then Russell
- 12:54Speaker 1: and the offense stalled. The veteran Terrence Mitchell with the interception.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Titans win again seventeen to ten, bouncing back after the
- 13:05Speaker 1: Sunday night loss to the Chiefs. All right, say what
- 13:07Speaker 1: you want about Jeff Saturday. Everyone likes Jeff Saturday, the person,
- 13:11Speaker 1: the process, whatever. It was interesting, however, to suddenly see
- 13:16Speaker 1: Matt Ryan back on the football field. I thought. I
- 13:19Speaker 1: thought Ellen Ger was going to start the rest of
- 13:21Speaker 1: the year. And they do have some playmakers. Harris Campbell touchdown,
- 13:26Speaker 1: Hair Colts leading the Raiders five to twenty. Derek Carr
- 13:31Speaker 1: in position to win the final minute, fourth down, no
- 13:35Speaker 1: flag intended for Davante Adams knocked away Stevon Gilmour. Jeff
- 13:39Speaker 1: Saturday on a Sunday. It was a Sunday fun day
- 13:43Speaker 1: for Saturday. I can't tell you how proud I am.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I'll beat you. Every one of you, coaches, players, staff,
- 13:51Speaker 1: everybody stepped up. All three phases man things we talked about.
- 13:55Speaker 1: All offense ran it for over two hundred through it
- 13:57Speaker 1: for over two hundred defense shut twenty eight down seventy
- 14:00Speaker 1: seven yards. Russian had to make the playoffs seven and
- 14:02Speaker 1: the end, what we do they can play makeup who
- 14:10Speaker 1: goes hardest, the longest man. That's how this game is
- 14:13Speaker 1: a side the most physical football team one Today. It's
- 14:16Speaker 1: been a tough week, but we believe, we know and
- 14:20Speaker 1: who you are, Jeff, and congratulations. I know you will
- 14:23Speaker 1: treasure this My brother appreciation a Jeff Saturday Sunday fun Day,
- 14:32Speaker 1: Mark Ross. We've spent a lot of time talking about
- 14:35Speaker 1: everything that went on in Indianapolis over the past week.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Here I found it most interesting that Sam Ellinger was
- 14:41Speaker 1: announced as the starting quarterback yet again Monday night. It's
- 14:44Speaker 1: part of the reason I think we get all a
- 14:46Speaker 1: great Frank Wright got fired, had to start the kid.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It kind of all fell apart. Matt Ryan, granted was injured.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Now all of a sudden, Matt Ryan comes back, and
- 14:55Speaker 1: what do you know? And I think because those decisions
- 15:00Speaker 1: that were made without much thought or much process in it,
- 15:03Speaker 1: and in the middle of those the decisions is who
- 15:06Speaker 1: was in the middle of that locker? Roobe is the
- 15:08Speaker 1: the owner, Jim Mercy, and he has made these decisions
- 15:11Speaker 1: first to fire the offensive coordinator Marcus Brady, and then
- 15:14Speaker 1: to insert Ellinger, and then to fire Frank Reich. And
- 15:17Speaker 1: it would be interesting to see if if Frank Wright
- 15:20Speaker 1: would have been able to keep Matt Ryan in the
- 15:22Speaker 1: lineup for the game after he got part with the
- 15:24Speaker 1: Washington game where they had to start Ellinger, if he
- 15:27Speaker 1: would have won that game, would he still be the
- 15:29Speaker 1: head coach. And that's the the issue that you have
- 15:32Speaker 1: with an owner. There's different levels of ownership involved. The
- 15:36Speaker 1: owners that are completely out of it to something in between,
- 15:38Speaker 1: and some that are heavily involved. And and now you
- 15:41Speaker 1: see this with too involved with the New York GIHN.
- 15:43Speaker 1: John Marra, when the best owners of the NFL won
- 15:45Speaker 1: two Super Bowls, never saw him talk in the locker
- 15:48Speaker 1: room like this or give out game balls. He hired
- 15:51Speaker 1: his executives, he hired his coaches and let them do
- 15:53Speaker 1: their job. So going forward now with the co colts
- 15:56Speaker 1: with Jeff Saturday, Look, this is nothing personal about Jeff Saturday.
- 15:59Speaker 1: Everybody talking about Jeff Saturday. It's about the process and
- 16:03Speaker 1: what's right and who deserves jobs or head coaching jobs
- 16:06Speaker 1: in the NFL. And it seems like Jim Urse gave
- 16:09Speaker 1: him this job because he was his buddy. So moving forward,
- 16:12Speaker 1: how much more involvement is Jim Erst gonna have it?
- 16:16Speaker 1: If Jeff Saturday goes out there next week and Matt
- 16:18Speaker 1: Ryan's bad, is he getting pulled? So that's what you
- 16:20Speaker 1: have to worry about the rest of the year with
- 16:21Speaker 1: this Colts team. Where at what point does it end?
- 16:25Speaker 1: So there are four or five and one Now, I'm
- 16:28Speaker 1: not putting him in the postseason. They get the Eagles
- 16:31Speaker 1: next week Philadelphia right now and defeated before tonight's came
- 16:34Speaker 1: but Mark the seventh seed in the a f C
- 16:36Speaker 1: is held by a five and four New England Patriots team.
- 16:41Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor came back yesterday. I'm sure Frank Rank would
- 16:44Speaker 1: have loved you know him, He did have him for
- 16:46Speaker 1: a while, don't get me wrong, But I mean, could
- 16:50Speaker 1: they could they could they actually get it together? Yeah?
- 16:53Speaker 1: I don't think so, Andrew. This is just there's too
- 16:56Speaker 1: many other good teams in the n f C FC.
- 16:59Speaker 1: So they just mentioned those four teams right there, and
- 17:02Speaker 1: everything has to go perfect for the Colts When they
- 17:04Speaker 1: had the perfect get right game yesterday against the Raiders,
- 17:08Speaker 1: who we can talk about later. They might be in
- 17:10Speaker 1: worse shape than the Colts. And we looked at it
- 17:12Speaker 1: all weeks. At the Raiders lose this game, something's got
- 17:14Speaker 1: a change there. There's a lot of dysfunction going on
- 17:16Speaker 1: there with the Raiders. So the Colts definitely had the
- 17:19Speaker 1: perfect match up yesterday to get right. The truth serum
- 17:23Speaker 1: will be the rest of the season when they have
- 17:25Speaker 1: to play next week right away. All right, now, you're
- 17:27Speaker 1: playing a legit team, maybe the best team in the
- 17:29Speaker 1: NFL with the Eagles, and then the schedule down the
- 17:32Speaker 1: line for one game for one day. Yes, everything came
- 17:35Speaker 1: together for the Colts, but there's a lot of season left.
- 17:38Speaker 1: That's when you'll really tell what this team is about
- 17:41Speaker 1: or if this was just a one off yesterday. Andrew
- 17:43Speaker 1: jim Trot a good piece right now in NFL dot
- 17:46Speaker 1: Com just Saturday points out. I mean, look, I was
- 17:48Speaker 1: at ESPN. Aaron Boone went from sitting next to me
- 17:51Speaker 1: on the desk and baseball tonight to coaching or managing
- 17:53Speaker 1: rather the Yankees the next day. Why can't football have
- 17:57Speaker 1: it happened yesterday? It worked against, as you said, the
- 17:59Speaker 1: perfect opponent about which we will talk a little bit later.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Thank you. Mark Ross. Coming up next, however, Marcus handing
- 18:07Speaker 1: out some grapes um top marks, and they are c
- 18:13Speaker 1: s after what we saw Sunday Week ten porth and
- 18:20Speaker 1: eighteen for the vikings for back to pass, He's gonna
- 18:23Speaker 1: heat one to j J to the right. Jefferson leaks
- 18:25Speaker 1: to catch it and tis on it. Hell little forty,
- 18:30Speaker 1: we want a lamb? Are you kidding me? With that catch?
- 18:33Speaker 1: J J? And that's one of the most cold blooded
- 18:36Speaker 1: receptions you're ever gonna see in your life. In the
- 18:44Speaker 1: shotgun looks looks runs to his right, still pointing downfield,
- 18:48Speaker 1: fired to downfield and his cat. A great catch by
- 18:50Speaker 1: step five Diggs at the party, and he spurred forward,
- 18:53Speaker 1: brought down at the barty five. How about that one
- 18:56Speaker 1: twenty four yards? Quo it catch my Stepfon Diggs. I'm
- 18:59Speaker 1: made public smoked. Stepont dis goes up in one hand,
- 19:03Speaker 1: catches it full extension. Oger said, alright, that Stefon Diggs
- 19:08Speaker 1: catch was great? Did it get top marks? Let's debut
- 19:11Speaker 1: a brand new segment. It's gonna be a Monday tradition.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Mark I feel it. Mark Ross's top Marks from Sunday
- 19:19Speaker 1: go for it. Stefon Diggs would have made it Andrew
- 19:22Speaker 1: catch of the Year until Justin Jefferson got involved in
- 19:25Speaker 1: that game and said, you know what, I may have
- 19:27Speaker 1: the catch of the year. The past ten years, Andrew,
- 19:31Speaker 1: I've been involved with the helmet catch with the Giants,
- 19:33Speaker 1: David Tyree Manning, the Manning hand catch, and the O
- 19:36Speaker 1: b J Internet breaking catch, and this Justin Jefferson catch
- 19:40Speaker 1: had elephants of just about all of those. I mean,
- 19:43Speaker 1: it's just completely insane. Strint and the poor nation there.
- 19:48Speaker 1: Then number two, we gotta go with Christian Watsons. Everyone's
- 19:51Speaker 1: been waiting for Jackson Heights own Christian Watson's to get
- 19:55Speaker 1: in there. Three touchdowns, the first Packers rookie receiver to
- 19:59Speaker 1: have three plus touchdowns since nineteen seventy eight by Hall
- 20:03Speaker 1: of Famer James Law. The big big for Christian Watsons
- 20:07Speaker 1: at Watson. And then we gotta get to the Detroit Lions.
- 20:10Speaker 1: We might not get a lot of low for the
- 20:12Speaker 1: Locks route this season, but for one day, Dan Campbell's
- 20:15Speaker 1: first road win, first two game winning streaks under the
- 20:19Speaker 1: Dan Campbell error, and the first time that the Lions
- 20:23Speaker 1: came back from fourteen plus down in the fourth quarter
- 20:26Speaker 1: to win a game since ninety three, so a lot
- 20:29Speaker 1: of jubilation in Detroit. And finally, number four is Rashad White,
- 20:34Speaker 1: the rookie running back for Tampa Bay who had twenty
- 20:36Speaker 1: two carries, a hundred and five yards and maybe the
- 20:39Speaker 1: stiff arm of the year over quadre digs. Uh. The
- 20:43Speaker 1: Buccaneers office was only averaging sixty point seven yards per carry,
- 20:47Speaker 1: had a one over a hundred yards that yesterday Tampa
- 20:51Speaker 1: Bay six and oh when they run for one fifty plus,
- 20:54Speaker 1: So big day for Rashide White, Andrews and the Bears.
- 20:56Speaker 1: Getting back to the Lions game, Bears again, huge game
- 20:59Speaker 1: of the ground from Justin Fields and and they cannot win.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Lions last road win had been in December, also at Chicago.
