Aired: Feb 20th, 1949. Jack preps for his 'Ford Theater' guest spot with a dressing room full of chaos, as Rochester bungles yet another sandwich order and Mary needles Jack about his wardrobe choices and dramatic ambitions. Phil Harris stalls rehearsal with a string of half-told bar jokes while Jack tries in vain to get the band to focus on the script. Classic ensemble bickering and running gags abound as the cast razzes Jack about his radio-drama debut on 'The Horn Blows at Midnight.'
