- Sue: One of the things that I've become aware of about myself in the last couple of days as I finalize the distribution and empty the house of the last of my husband's tools and favorite bits of equipment is that along the way, I originally had sort of one person who wanted to take all of it and ended up only taking the smaller portions. And then I lined up another person who agreed to take a share of what was left. and they reneged on one little bit. And so it went with various people who agreed to take equipment. It became distributed amongst four or five households. And while it might not have been the most convenient in that all of it was removed at once for my life, I think in the end, as I look on it today, it's a better result to have it distributed amongst a handful of people. It's about amplifying the joy that they can generate when they're working with those tools to create their favorite things. So if you have five people using a bit of my husband's kit, that's five times the joy. It makes it much easier to explain to those who may feel a level of disappointment with not getting the tool that they thought that I had promised to them, that there is the joy in knowing that more people get to celebrate my husband's life. Idea hadn't occurred to me previously because I was more me-focused. I didn't want to overextend the complication at a time when I was emotionally not as healed as I am today. I certainly wouldn't have planned such a complicated list of distributions. It's just the way that it happened. I have faith that it was meant to happen in that manner and either way I'm good with it. There is a lightness in being. that I'm experiencing with those items being out of the house. There's a lightness in being that I'm experiencing by seeing the joy and happiness in the faces of those receiving these tools. And generally there's a lightness in being knowing that I have completed that journey and that we all arrived at our destinations in the manner that we were meant to. And in the practical side of things, it now gives me the space I need to spread my stuff out, do a deep clean of those areas, and look at what is mine and whether I need to purge even more, which I do. But at least I can determine now more easily which stuff gets to go because it has more of a spread out view. Such a subtle thing to feel. I'm grateful to be in this place on all fronts. The physical home, the spiritual place, the intellectual and emotional place. All is well with my soul. Thank you for listening to my mundane-ness. appreciate you.
