Transcript
- 0:13Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to Pink Shade. It's TLC Tuesday. I'm
- 0:17Speaker 1: here with Kimberly to chat about before the ninety days.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Now you guys, if I sound echoe number one, I'm sorry.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I am in an Airbnb. It's all wood floors. I've
- 0:29Speaker 1: got pillows surrounding me, but it is probably still a
- 0:32Speaker 1: little echoe. Not as great audio there used to and
- 0:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry. Next week I'll be back at my regular spot.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Kimberly is in her regular spot there in California, so
- 0:42Speaker 1: she'll sound great.
- 0:44Speaker 2: You are in an empty museum.
- 0:47Speaker 1: It's so much space between here and the kitchen. I
- 0:53Speaker 1: mean it could be an entire other living room. And
- 0:58Speaker 1: of course when we came in, we're like, well what
- 1:00Speaker 1: we would have done.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Is yeah, it's like you're on house hunters.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Yeah, like we would have moved this over here and
- 1:07Speaker 1: all that. But we have been here for my father
- 1:10Speaker 1: in law's ninetieth birthday. There's been there's been, you know,
- 1:14Speaker 1: a big party where there's like eighty ninety people there,
- 1:17Speaker 1: and then there was like a family party where people
- 1:19Speaker 1: came from Hither and Yon and it's just really been great.
- 1:22Speaker 1: It's been great. Wow, Hither and Yon Yeah, to and
- 1:27Speaker 1: fro hither and Yon Yeah. What had a big conversation
- 1:32Speaker 1: this morning about where did the phrase swing a dead
- 1:36Speaker 1: cat come from? No, I don't like that.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I don't like that.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Dave said, oh, you couldn't swing a dead cat and something.
- 1:43Speaker 1: I go, you know, let's not like it like a
- 1:46Speaker 1: big cat lover. But yes, I don't understand that phrasing.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And it's sort of like, yeah, beat a dead horse.
- 1:52Speaker 1: It is also like.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Aa also do not like that. Yeah, let's stick with
- 1:57Speaker 2: lead a horse to water.
- 1:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Right, if we're going to talk about horses, yeah, it's
- 2:03Speaker 2: not great, but just leave the horses name out your
- 2:06Speaker 2: jam mouse. And that's what I have to say. And
- 2:09Speaker 2: that's what are we doing.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Well. I do have to go to the airport in
- 2:16Speaker 1: a little bit of time, so we're going to get
- 2:18Speaker 1: started on this episode. I do want to say for
- 2:21Speaker 1: people that listened to does Ace know who? This is
- 2:25Speaker 1: the game sweeping the nation?
- 2:27Speaker 2: Uh huh?
- 2:28Speaker 1: For people that listened and corrected me, oh about I
- 2:33Speaker 1: was wrong. I said that after I said Ronald Reagan
- 2:37Speaker 1: was president for three terms and then after that they
- 2:40Speaker 1: enforced term limits. That was wrong.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that doesn't sound right to me at all.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And when I said it, I said I think I
- 2:47Speaker 1: think it was Roosevelt. It was FDR it was nineteen
- 2:50Speaker 1: fifty one. I've been corrected.
- 2:53Speaker 2: I knew something.
- 2:54Speaker 1: You knew something. I've been corrected. I stand corrected. I
- 2:59Speaker 1: was wrong. Nobody else needs to send me a DM
- 3:02Speaker 1: or a entry on message about it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Cairl, You're going to be hearing about that for the
- 3:07Speaker 2: rest of your life, because I still hear about things
- 3:10Speaker 2: from twenty seventeen.
- 3:13Speaker 1: Yeah, that I so wrong. I was wrong. Also, nobody
- 3:18Speaker 1: needs to alert me again that Zuria was arrested. We
- 3:23Speaker 1: know we've been following it. Nobody needs to inform you.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, you've been talking about it with Keisha on the show,
- 3:32Speaker 2: So why do people think you are unawares?
- 3:35Speaker 1: People also don't need to let me know that on
- 3:38Speaker 1: this season of Love during lock Up, there is a
- 3:40Speaker 1: person that died. It's Justin and Justin and Emily. He
- 3:44Speaker 1: died before the season or maybe at the end of
- 3:46Speaker 1: the season, and Emily is like a terrible person who
- 3:49Speaker 1: then tried to go on Love Island right after that.
- 3:53Speaker 1: We are aware of.
- 3:54Speaker 2: These things, my God, but thank you for caring and
- 3:59Speaker 2: being engaged with the podcast exactly.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I do. Every so often, somebody you'll send me something
- 4:05Speaker 1: that I didn't know, but generally if it's some kind
- 4:08Speaker 1: of breaking news, if they have received it on their feed,
- 4:12Speaker 1: I have also received it on my feed. Yeah. And
- 4:16Speaker 1: then sometimes even if I don't receive it on my feed,
- 4:18Speaker 1: Kisha will alert me because she is on it. She
- 4:22Speaker 1: is on it. Yeah, that story I love during lockup
- 4:26Speaker 1: is going to be it's gonna be interesting.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Well, now I have to watch the first episode because
- 4:31Speaker 2: I like to at least watch the first episode and
- 4:35Speaker 2: then listen to you and Keisha, and then the rest
- 4:38Speaker 2: of the season. I can sometimes watch and just listen
- 4:41Speaker 2: because I'll know who the people are, right right, we
- 4:44Speaker 2: have a picture the teeth situation, like I need to
- 4:48Speaker 2: see what you're talking about. Are there teeth situations?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Not yet? Not yet? Okay, there's a really cute girl
- 4:55Speaker 1: on there. Her name is Goddess, that's her actual name,
- 4:59Speaker 1: and she's the cutest thing I've ever seen. But unfortunately
- 5:03Speaker 1: her man, who she calls Mumu, is interested in a
- 5:08Speaker 1: polly relationship. But he hasn't told her yet. Okay, and
- 5:12Speaker 1: he's already bouncing.
- 5:15Speaker 2: He's trying to get on front of the many tlc smanops.
- 5:18Speaker 1: It's interesting too. On this first episode, every person had
- 5:21Speaker 1: some sort of gun charge. Oh, which might be better
- 5:26Speaker 1: than a meth charge.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's usually drugs or a robbery.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Some of them have a combo.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Well, they go hand in hand really much like these
- 5:35Speaker 2: couples on ninety Day. They're meant for each other. They're
- 5:38Speaker 2: two sides of the same coin.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah. And also lots of people have alerted us
- 5:44Speaker 1: with Aviva and Stig that she looks pregnant. And yes,
- 5:46Speaker 1: I said that the first time we saw that.
- 5:48Speaker 2: You have said it I at least twice, and so listen, people,
- 5:53Speaker 2: she knows and I finally noticed it in this episode.
- 5:56Speaker 1: You notice it this week?
- 5:57Speaker 2: Yeah? Especially I noticed it. Yeah, thing she does because
- 6:01Speaker 2: I'm typing, so I'm just like kind of looking down
- 6:05Speaker 2: and like I'm mostly listening.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I was thinking that this week when I was taking
- 6:10Speaker 1: notes on Daniel and Lisa, I was thinking that I
- 6:14Speaker 1: was looking down. I was like, well, that's what Kimberly's for,
- 6:17Speaker 1: because she's got eyeballs on the couples that I'm only
- 6:19Speaker 1: half looking at and taking notes. Because sometimes you didn't
- 6:22Speaker 1: you notice she had this I'm like, no, I was
- 6:24Speaker 1: looking down. Yeah, But speaking of a Viva and Stig,
- 6:28Speaker 1: that's who we're starting with. And my only note for
- 6:31Speaker 1: those two is why is her hair so freaking greasy
- 6:35Speaker 1: when she goes to the show.
- 6:37Speaker 2: She is a combo of Jenny and Matt on sixty
- 6:42Speaker 2: days and it's getting worse. I know it's human there,
- 6:46Speaker 2: I understand that that doesn't mean you can't wash it
- 6:49Speaker 2: or wear a hat or something. It is it looks
- 6:52Speaker 2: wet all the time. It looks like she just got
- 6:55Speaker 2: out of the shower.
- 6:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just wash her hair and then let it
- 6:58Speaker 1: be like whatever it's going to be. It's gonna be frizzy,
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's gonna be curly. Just go with it, go and
- 7:03Speaker 1: try to don't try to like straighten it, and they'll
- 7:05Speaker 1: let you blow out last because then your hair looks greasy.
- 7:08Speaker 2: No, I'm very curious to see what ant Springs hair
- 7:11Speaker 2: looks like when she gets to the humidity, because she
- 7:15Speaker 2: keeps it in that extremely tight ponytail the Ariana Grande,
- 7:20Speaker 2: and it's high and tight and it's pulling her face
- 7:23Speaker 2: back and those glasses and it's all very wit sick.
- 7:29Speaker 2: So I'm excited to see what happens to her hair.
- 7:32Speaker 1: She's gonna have like some little pieces that are just
- 7:33Speaker 1: popping exactly, and.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I get the little frizzies all over like a halo.
- 7:42Speaker 1: Okay, a viva stick. Yeah, that's what I meant to say.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Season eight, episode seven, Brace for Impact, which is not ready.
- 7:54Speaker 1: But also I don't like Brace for Impact.
- 7:56Speaker 2: No, that means something has gone wrong. The wheels are
- 7:59Speaker 2: broken and we're coming down in a field instead of
- 8:05Speaker 2: on a runway and put their heads between your knees.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Somebody who's flying on a plane today. I didn't enjoy
- 8:12Speaker 1: that brace frt Yeah, okay, now go ahead.
- 8:14Speaker 2: Even Also, how are we only on episode seven? It
- 8:17Speaker 2: feels like we've known these people forever.

- 10:23Speaker 2: So of even Stick, the ViBe's good and the sex
- 10:27Speaker 2: good and the would.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I breed you? Yes? I would?
- 10:31Speaker 2: That has been stuck in my head all weekend, and Stick,
- 10:35Speaker 2: I owe you an apology, baby boy, Stick, because I
- 10:39Speaker 2: may have implied that Soldier Boy was a better rapper
- 10:43Speaker 2: and wrote catchier songs, but I can't even remember a
- 10:46Speaker 2: soldier boy song.
- 10:48Speaker 1: And I remember I would die for you.
- 10:52Speaker 2: I would die die, I would die for.
- 10:56Speaker 1: Girl.
- 10:57Speaker 2: I would pray for you.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Yeah, you would pray for her. Yeah.
- 11:01Speaker 2: I also remember I Love You Chicken. That we have
- 11:07Speaker 2: really been blessed with so many prolific artists on this show. Yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 2: where are the Grammys at? And can they acknowledge some
- 11:16Speaker 2: of these people? But anyway, I have had that stupid
- 11:19Speaker 2: song about the ViBe's good and the sex good stuck
- 11:22Speaker 2: in my head. My neighbors probably think I'm crazy. I'm
- 11:25Speaker 2: singing it to the foster dog. He thinks I'm crazy. Yeah,
- 11:30Speaker 2: he's still here and I cannot get it out of
- 11:33Speaker 2: my head. Okay, so she was jealous yesterday, but last
- 11:37Speaker 2: night at the hotel, he just sexted that jealousy ran
- 11:41Speaker 2: out of her. Okay, good, and they had sex three
- 11:46Speaker 2: times with no protection.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Raw Dog all the way loves it.
- 11:51Speaker 2: And she asks what songs he's singing at his big
- 11:55Speaker 2: show tonight big big quotes also show oh in quotes.
- 12:03Speaker 1: Or singing yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 2: So he's like, oh, my biggest hits, I got this one.
- 12:11Speaker 2: I will marry your daughter. I got Vicky. And she's like, oh,
- 12:16Speaker 2: Vicky is the song about the X that Aunt Spring
- 12:20Speaker 2: had her henchman spy that said he went home with
- 12:24Speaker 2: Vicky after he performed that song at this concert. And
- 12:29Speaker 2: so she's like, who is Vicky And he goes the
- 12:32Speaker 2: concept of Vicky is a girl who he tells this
- 12:36Speaker 2: story about the And I'm like, is that the story
- 12:38Speaker 2: of the song or is that the real Vicky? Because
- 12:41Speaker 2: you just said the concept of Vicky, she asked who
- 12:44Speaker 2: Vicky was not the story of the song, like Billy
- 12:48Speaker 2: jean or.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Is Vicky a fictional character that he's created, like Billy
- 12:53Speaker 1: my lover?
- 12:55Speaker 2: So he like she was being mistreated by her husband
- 12:59Speaker 2: and he was a bard showing her love. But then
- 13:03Speaker 2: he's like, so we did hang out, like it was
- 13:05Speaker 2: a girl he dated. So she says, well, I heard
- 13:09Speaker 2: that you went home with her after this concert. My
- 13:11Speaker 2: Aunt Spring heard about it. And he jokes to us
- 13:14Speaker 2: he's never met Aunt Spring, but she apparently knows him
- 13:17Speaker 2: better than he knows himself. And he says, is she
- 13:20Speaker 2: secret service or what she could be? Except she's probably
- 13:24Speaker 2: in wit sec So maybe she was in secret Service
- 13:27Speaker 2: and then saw something she wasn't supposed to do and
- 13:29Speaker 2: now she's in WIT six. So ant Spring, he tells Aviva, like,
- 13:34Speaker 2: I didn't go home with anybody. I was focused on
- 13:36Speaker 2: the music. I'm all about the music. I'm Spring the artist,
- 13:42Speaker 2: not Sprig. Nope, not spring Stick and she goes, well,
- 13:48Speaker 2: my aunt saw an article.
- 13:51Speaker 1: That you went home with VICKI. It's the page sicks
- 13:54Speaker 1: the belize near reporting on this shit.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, we have seen nothing to indicate that he is
- 14:01Speaker 2: big enough that the paparazzi are writing stories about him.
- 14:04Speaker 1: But this episode doesn't help, no, and he.
- 14:09Speaker 2: Says, well, belize isn't the fake news, so it's real news.
- 14:14Speaker 2: So you did go home with her? What are you saying?
- 14:18Speaker 2: And he said again tries to gaslight her and is like,
- 14:22Speaker 2: don't get in your head about this, which is yeah,
- 14:27Speaker 2: don't look at the things that are facts and think
- 14:29Speaker 2: that they're true. Don't just believe what I'm telling you instead,
- 14:34Speaker 2: and so she's like, I just really don't want you
- 14:38Speaker 2: to sing Vicki tonight and he says, it's one of
- 14:40Speaker 2: my biggest songs. That's what the people want.
- 14:43Speaker 1: It's like Taylor Swift doesn't seem to shake it off.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 14:46Speaker 2: Of course exactly.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 2: So he says to us, I thought Aviva was going
- 14:51Speaker 2: to be different than the other girls, which is probably
- 14:54Speaker 2: because she acted different when they were talking online. She
- 14:58Speaker 2: acted like a pick me girl and was like, I'm cool,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I won't get jealous. I'm one of the guys.
- 15:03Speaker 1: I understand. I understand your career, babe, I get it.
- 15:06Speaker 2: Yeah, But now that they're in person, she's less easygoing
- 15:11Speaker 2: and is not gonna just roll over if you're being shady.
- 15:16Speaker 2: She's gonna say something. So they go to the show,
- 15:20Speaker 2: and he's like, look at me holding your hand in
- 15:23Speaker 2: public walking down the street. You can't question my love, babe.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Not when we go inside, I won't be holding your hand.
- 15:31Speaker 1: But as we go into the club and they're filming us,
- 15:33Speaker 1: I will. Uh huh.
- 15:35Speaker 2: Also, no man has ever cheated on his wife and
- 15:38Speaker 2: still helds her hand in public.
- 15:40Speaker 1: That's never.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Never. They can't. They can't do it. Also, let's raise
- 15:45Speaker 2: our standards higher too than he holds my hand in
- 15:48Speaker 2: public and doesn't make me wear a bag on my head.
- 15:52Speaker 2: Like yeah, So at the club, they are like Stig
- 15:57Speaker 2: the artist in the house and they're there's moderate cheering.
- 16:02Speaker 2: I would say, like a level six four. It's a
- 16:07Speaker 2: level four.
- 16:07Speaker 1: He was just there at the club as a patron
- 16:10Speaker 1: of the club. And then they were like, and also,
- 16:12Speaker 1: it's karaoke night, will you please get up and sing
- 16:14Speaker 1: your own song? Yeah?
- 16:15Speaker 2: Exactly so, and he came to the island for this
- 16:20Speaker 2: performance like it's Coachella. So he starts singing I'm going
- 16:28Speaker 2: to marry your daughter, which is about how he's a
- 16:30Speaker 2: bad boy but he's going to marry your daughter. And
- 16:34Speaker 2: there's like four girls dancing and filming with their cells,
- 16:38Speaker 2: but they're one girl is ignoring the music and just
- 16:40Speaker 2: taking selfies of herself the whole time, like the crowd.
- 16:45Speaker 2: I can't tell if the camera people are doing it
- 16:48Speaker 2: to shade him by showing like uninterested people in the crowd,
- 16:53Speaker 2: or if they just couldn't get around it because there
- 16:55Speaker 2: were no swarms of beatle Mania. No one's fainting.
- 17:01Speaker 1: There's some guys. Is this if your favs in Belize?
- 17:06Speaker 1: Is this what it is? It's twelve people they are,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know, right?
- 17:10Speaker 2: Maybe we just got something different.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 2: So he sees a girl bend over in front of
- 17:17Speaker 2: him and he's like, what is that? And then Aviva
- 17:20Speaker 2: is like, yeah, I don't like that. And so then
- 17:23Speaker 2: Aviva is like pretending to enjoy the music. I don't
- 17:26Speaker 2: think she knows any of his songs. She is not
- 17:29Speaker 2: singing along. She is half ass dancing, which is basically
- 17:32Speaker 2: just like a And then that's it, just yeah. And
- 17:39Speaker 2: then one sway, two sway, three sways done. I can't
- 17:43Speaker 2: get my hair messed up. It looks so good tonight.
- 17:46Speaker 2: So Aviva is like listening and he half assed listening,
- 17:53Speaker 2: and then he starts singing Vicky and he's performing it
- 17:56Speaker 2: to this other girl who is kind of on stage
- 18:00Speaker 2: and filming herself. But it's like I thought, I was
- 18:03Speaker 2: so confused. Are strange girls just allowed to be on stage?
- 18:06Speaker 2: And then I realized it's not really a stage. It's
- 18:09Speaker 2: like an indoor patio or like a very lame vip
- 18:14Speaker 2: section because his manager is also sitting there, yea and
- 18:20Speaker 2: his so his people are sitting right behind him. So
- 18:24Speaker 2: it's but it's a balcony. It seems like, yes, it's
- 18:29Speaker 2: like a one step up type stage, like there's literally
- 18:32Speaker 2: one step and then you're on the stage part. And
- 18:36Speaker 2: so that girl just like wandered there.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Like that's just where she was standing because she could
- 18:40Speaker 1: there was a place you could set your drink exactly,
- 18:43Speaker 1: and she's like, oh, maybe I should be on the
- 18:45Speaker 1: other side of it, because Aviva was on the other
- 18:47Speaker 1: side of it. Yeah, the place where you set your
- 18:50Speaker 1: drink it You guys, listen again, maybe in Beliez, this
- 18:54Speaker 1: is the level of fame that it is and we
- 18:56Speaker 1: just don't understand. But I think, you know, you and
- 19:00Speaker 1: I could go to a bar and get the same reaction.
- 19:05Speaker 2: A terrible singing voice, but all I have to do
- 19:09Speaker 2: is pick a banger and like people will be down
- 19:12Speaker 2: for it. So Aviva starts texting someone on her phone
- 19:17Speaker 2: about how awkward she feels, and she's miserable, and he's
- 19:22Speaker 2: watching her and he's like, I see a sea of
- 19:26Speaker 2: people enjoying my music. And Aviva is on her phone.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Where is the sea of people? Footage not found?
- 19:36Speaker 1: I would say dry creek bed of people, I mean exactly, no,
- 19:40Speaker 1: I would say a smattering of people, spattering. What's the
- 19:45Speaker 1: word I'm trying to say smattering is the words smattering.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Of people, a sprinkle of And I wouldn't even say fans.
- 19:56Speaker 2: I wouldn't say fans because none of these people have
- 19:58Speaker 2: given us the indication that they are there specifically to
- 20:02Speaker 2: see him. They all are giving the indication that they
- 20:05Speaker 2: happened to be at this bar already. And he started
- 20:09Speaker 2: performing like no one's wearing a shirt that says stick
- 20:12Speaker 2: Like he's who I came to see.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He won the front door, I mean he.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Walks, yeah, no, back door. He There's one girl who's
- 20:21Speaker 2: like singing along, so she's heard the songs, but even
- 20:24Speaker 2: she is not fainting or trying to get closer to
- 20:27Speaker 2: the stage or.
- 20:30Speaker 1: On stage. Even the girl that was on the stage
- 20:34Speaker 1: was very disinterested.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, yeah, She's like she's more interested in filming herself. Like, look,
- 20:42Speaker 2: I'm on stage kind of it's kind of a stage,
- 20:45Speaker 2: and I'm on stage and this guy's singing. I don't
- 20:47Speaker 2: know who he is.
- 20:48Speaker 1: We need somebody to explain this.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Google it later. Okay. So he starts singing a unreleased song,
- 21:00Speaker 2: which usually means that's when people go to the bathroom
- 21:02Speaker 2: at a concert new music. Okay, yeah, I'm gonna go
- 21:08Speaker 2: get a snack. So but then he gets flustered because
- 21:12Speaker 2: he's watching Aviva and she's not paying attention, and he
- 21:15Speaker 2: starts like going, oh, one, two, three, I forgot the words.
- 21:21Speaker 2: I forgot the words.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And he's like, the words are I breed you hard?
- 21:27Speaker 2: So he's like mumbling to the manager that he's totally
- 21:31Speaker 2: forgot the words. So now the manager is going to
- 21:33Speaker 2: think of Viva as bad for his music, like the
- 21:36Speaker 2: Texas Chick is. So after the show, he's bumped he
- 21:40Speaker 2: forgot the lyrics, and she's pretending everything was fine, and
- 21:43Speaker 2: she says, did I handle the night? Okay? And he says,
- 21:45Speaker 2: I guess, and he's kind of giving her the silent treatment,
- 21:49Speaker 2: which he had said he doesn't like.
- 21:51Speaker 1: He didn't like when she did it.
- 21:52Speaker 2: He's like, I don't go for that. So finally he's like,
- 21:56Speaker 2: you were on your phone and it hurt my feelings.
- 21:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I was mature of him.
- 22:01Speaker 2: And she's like, you weren't paying attention to me, and
- 22:04Speaker 2: he says, I was singing right to you. She's like,
- 22:07Speaker 2: you were singing VICKI and you said you weren't gonna
- 22:09Speaker 2: say Vicky. So he's like, I'm sorry, there were girls
- 22:13Speaker 2: on stage with you. I felt awkward, and he says
- 22:16Speaker 2: and she says, I don't know anyone here. So I
- 22:18Speaker 2: reached out to one of my friends and he's like,
- 22:21Speaker 2: you're supposed to be my team HIPing me up, and
- 22:24Speaker 2: it's very awkward, and he goes to take a shower
- 22:27Speaker 2: and she's clearly pregnant in they're talking heads, so I
- 22:31Speaker 2: finally noticed it. So they're arguing and but they got
- 22:37Speaker 2: over it, obviously because she's knocked up.
- 22:40Speaker 1: So she posted a bunch of pictures that I saw
- 22:43Speaker 1: in the last day or so, and she's very much
- 22:46Speaker 1: like crop top, flat stomach, you know whatever. So I
- 22:48Speaker 1: don't know if those you know, because they filmed this
- 22:51Speaker 1: stuff a year and a half ago. I mean, you know,
- 22:55Speaker 1: we'll find out. I hope we're not all wrong, because
- 22:57Speaker 1: I mean we're not the only ones to think that.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Lots of people think it.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Yeah, like commenting on people's bodies. But there she's wearing
- 23:04Speaker 2: like one of those baby Dell dresses that poops out
- 23:07Speaker 2: in every talking headshot. There's two different ones.
- 23:10Speaker 1: And like, she has the same outfit in red, yellow,
- 23:17Speaker 1: and green. It's like a halter on the top and
- 23:20Speaker 1: then it's got the baby doll ish and it's like
- 23:23Speaker 1: a flower pattern. Yeah, she's got the same outfit on.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I'm like, she said, I like this dress in every color.
- 23:28Speaker 1: Give it to me.
- 23:29Speaker 2: I love that.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Okay, I have moved the pillows my pillow fortress closer
- 23:35Speaker 1: around me. Okay, yeah, I've moved. Look I have pillows
- 23:39Speaker 1: surrounding me like I'm in a little pillow hole. Sounds good. Okay,
- 23:44Speaker 1: So let's talk about Lisa and Daniel. Do we have to?
- 23:48Speaker 1: We have to? We have to? Okay, I've posted about
- 23:52Speaker 1: this on Instagram because I'm so upset. So we open up.
- 23:57Speaker 1: We see Lingerie on the chair and I'd paused it
- 24:01Speaker 1: to take a note, and then I saw another picture
- 24:04Speaker 1: which was various loubes and condoms. So, okay, y'all know

- 26:18Speaker 1: and she's kissing him. She's got that wig on. She's
- 26:20Speaker 1: left on it, y'all. She wo wasn't kidding and she's
- 26:23Speaker 1: kissing him and he says, oh, you're so beautiful, and
- 26:26Speaker 1: she goes, I have to tell you, you have the
- 26:29Speaker 1: nicest ass I have ever seen. And I used to
- 26:34Speaker 1: think your dimples were my favorite thing, but now it's
- 26:39Speaker 1: your belly button.
- 26:42Speaker 2: It's an hour practicing of me.
- 26:45Speaker 1: No, yes, I've not been practicing. You do think I
- 26:49Speaker 1: practiced on the ninety year old people at the party.
- 26:51Speaker 1: Do y'all like this? Accis?
- 26:57Speaker 2: Is that gypsy Rose?
- 26:59Speaker 1: She says, it's your belly button. It's an audi. It's
- 27:03Speaker 1: so key. We get to see his belly button. She
- 27:06Speaker 1: kisses it, so we're talking to her. She goes, I
- 27:10Speaker 1: feel like I'm on her roller coaster. I'm engaged. Daniel
- 27:16Speaker 1: is everything I could have dreamed of, except he doesn't
- 27:19Speaker 1: have boobs, and then she says, last night was uncomfortable
- 27:27Speaker 1: and strange. He didn't finish. I don't think he was
- 27:32Speaker 1: full on, and I had so much anticipation and I
- 27:36Speaker 1: was deep.
- 27:38Speaker 2: Wow, and they need to borrow the turp from Rick.
- 27:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, splash pad. She says, I was so deflated,
- 27:49Speaker 1: and I thought maybe I am too old and I'm
- 27:52Speaker 1: not the shape he wants me to be in. I
- 27:54Speaker 1: was really questioning myself. So she says to him, we
- 28:00Speaker 1: have to talk about last night, and he just goes, huh,
- 28:04Speaker 1: And she goes, it was awful. Wow, And she says,
- 28:10Speaker 1: I was upset with you. I expected more than what happened.
- 28:15Speaker 1: He goes what He goes, I was so stressed and tired.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I'd been preparing all day. It seems like probably he
- 28:20Speaker 1: got up super early to come there, to come to
- 28:23Speaker 1: that city to get ready and then meet her at
- 28:26Speaker 1: the airport, which was probably at night, you know. So
- 28:28Speaker 1: and so he goes, I was stressed and I was tired.
- 28:31Speaker 1: And then they're going to talking it together, and he goes, well,
- 28:34Speaker 1: you know when a man is stressed, you know, he
- 28:36Speaker 1: can't perform well. And from morning tonight I was preparing
- 28:39Speaker 1: to come and meet you. It was this was just
- 28:42Speaker 1: a test run. So then he says, yeah, last night
- 28:46Speaker 1: was terrible, but I gave it to you this morning.
- 28:49Speaker 2: Oh.
- 28:50Speaker 1: And she says, yeah, he did, but you were so
- 28:55Speaker 1: big it was painful. At first, but then I stretched
- 29:02Speaker 1: to fetch you perfectly.
- 29:04Speaker 2: I missed all of this. I must have blocked all
- 29:08Speaker 2: of this out.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Well, good for you and good for your brain cells.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And I'm sorry. You just had to hear me say it.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I did not even hear that. They did it in
- 29:16Speaker 2: the morning.
- 29:18Speaker 1: Like he said, I gave it to you this morning.
- 29:21Speaker 1: She says, yeah, you did, and it was so big
- 29:26Speaker 1: and painful. But then I stretched to fetch you perfectly.
- 29:30Speaker 1: I feel like you are made for me. My brain
- 29:35Speaker 1: tried to protect me, and then you ruined it. I'm
- 29:39Speaker 1: sorry again, if I had to hear it, you have
- 29:42Speaker 1: to hear it. So in the talking head, she says,
- 29:47Speaker 1: now that we're engaged and have been physical, how will
- 29:51Speaker 1: he handle the information I have to tell him? So
- 29:56Speaker 1: they're going to drag this out for three more episodes.
- 29:58Speaker 2: So yeah, even though she told Faith, I'm going to
- 30:01Speaker 2: tell him right when I get there, but he proposes,
- 30:04Speaker 2: I'm going to tell him before anything happens.
- 30:07Speaker 1: Also on the bedside table with a picture of Lisa
- 30:10Speaker 1: and Faith on his side of the bed, you mean princess,
- 30:18Speaker 1: princess princess. Yeah. So they're heading out to a market
- 30:22Speaker 1: and she's excited to go see one of these markets.
- 30:24Speaker 1: There's little goats running around, just cute except for probably
- 30:27Speaker 1: the day. Yeah, there are fish, there is dried fish,
- 30:32Speaker 1: there are chicken, there are little tiny sauce. There's women
- 30:34Speaker 1: doing here. It's like everything you could ever imagine. And
- 30:37Speaker 1: she's like, I just want to look at the little chickens.
- 30:41Speaker 1: So a lady pulls the chicken out, which is similar
- 30:45Speaker 1: to Renee.
- 30:47Speaker 2: I was getting flashbacks to Renee spelled rain.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Let the Chicken live. Yeah, So she pulls one of
- 30:59Speaker 1: the chicken out and in the talking head she goes,
- 31:03Speaker 1: I love chickens. We used to have some as pets.
- 31:07Speaker 1: They were so spoiled. Faith would show them shows on
- 31:10Speaker 1: the VCR. He goes, your chickens watch TV. That is crazy.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That is crazy. I thought. I was like, that's cute.
- 31:19Speaker 1: She set up a little TV for them. So anyway,
- 31:22Speaker 1: she puts the chicken back. She's like, I don't want
- 31:24Speaker 1: to eat it. So they go to see the textiles
- 31:29Speaker 1: and he says, I want you to pick something out
- 31:32Speaker 1: and they'll make an outfit for you because you have
- 31:34Speaker 1: to wear a traditional outfit to see my uncle. You know,
- 31:38Speaker 1: my uncle has to give the approval and the blessing
- 31:41Speaker 1: to Mary, because the uncle will get the approval and
- 31:43Speaker 1: the blessing and call my father who's not doing well,
- 31:46Speaker 1: and give the report back. And the uncle has to
- 31:50Speaker 1: see you in the traditional attire. So she's looking at
- 31:53Speaker 1: fabrics that she likes and the lady shows her how
- 31:56Speaker 1: to tie the head wrap, which is like super loud.
- 31:59Speaker 1: It's like crunch, crunch, runch, crunch, crunch, and the lady
- 32:01Speaker 1: is telling her how to do it, and she's like,
- 32:03Speaker 1: I can't even hear you through all that time crunching.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I don't know how to tie this thing on my head.
- 32:11Speaker 1: So she picks out some fabric that she likes, and
- 32:13Speaker 1: the lady in these countries, as they are, they're just
- 32:16Speaker 1: blunt and they don't have hang ups of saying anything
- 32:19Speaker 1: to you right to your face about your body, because
- 32:21Speaker 1: I think it's just not to be seen as an insult.
- 32:24Speaker 1: It's just to be seen as a fact. Yes, and
- 32:26Speaker 1: if you're bigger, you know you're bigger, and they just
- 32:28Speaker 1: say yeah. And so the lady picks up the fabric,
- 32:32Speaker 1: is wrapping it and she goes, I don't know if
- 32:34Speaker 1: this is going to go around you, because you're a
- 32:35Speaker 1: bit fat. So if I cut it to fit you,
- 32:38Speaker 1: it's not gonna work. I'm gonna have to call the tailor.
- 32:41Speaker 1: So she goes off to get the tailor their team
- 32:44Speaker 1: to deal with your body. I can't just wrap this.
- 32:46Speaker 1: We're gonna need two piece as a fabric. So she
- 32:50Speaker 1: goes against the tailor and he measures her and she's like,
- 32:53Speaker 1: oh god, this is so embarrassing.
- 32:55Speaker 2: I feel fat.
- 32:56Speaker 1: But they make the outfit as they do, kind of
- 32:58Speaker 1: on the spot, and she's like, now, in addition to
- 33:02Speaker 1: being callede fat, I'm worried about everything. I'm going to
- 33:05Speaker 1: have to reveal to the uncle. Why does she have
- 33:07Speaker 1: to say anything? I have to tell that truth to
- 33:09Speaker 1: the uncle. So in the car on the way home,
- 33:13Speaker 1: they're sitting there and she goes, Daniel, I am fuming
- 33:16Speaker 1: right now, by the way, and he says, oh, why
- 33:20Speaker 1: is that. She goes that lady called me fat. He goes, oh, well, okay,
- 33:25Speaker 1: she goes, I am stressed and I need to smoke
- 33:27Speaker 1: my vape. That's how stressed I am. I know what
- 33:30Speaker 1: I said. I wouldn't smoke. I tried to quit and
- 33:33Speaker 1: I couldn't. Huh. I'm so frustrated with you because that
- 33:36Speaker 1: lady called me fat. It's like, he laughs, He's like,
- 33:40Speaker 1: what do you want me to do? You York kind
- 33:41Speaker 1: of fat? I mean. So in the talking head, she says, I.
- 33:48Speaker 2: Just fat still might be like it used to be
- 33:50Speaker 2: in all cultures, which was like positive because it meant
- 33:55Speaker 2: you are rich and you can eat the.
- 33:57Speaker 1: Little to eat. Yeah. Yeah, So in the talking head,
- 34:01Speaker 1: she says, you know, there are certain things Daniel expects,
- 34:03Speaker 1: like he wants me to have my hair a certain way.
- 34:06Speaker 1: I think he just wants you to wear that wig.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:09Speaker 1: I have to ask for permission for things like to
- 34:12Speaker 1: have a sip of alcohol. He doesn't want me to vape.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I told him I would slow down, but you know,
- 34:18Speaker 1: I just found out I have to try to impress
- 34:20Speaker 1: the uncle, and I'm stressed about that. I want my vape.
- 34:25Speaker 1: Wow girl, Okay.
- 34:27Speaker 2: So also, I just have to interject this conversation they
- 34:31Speaker 2: have in the car, which just shows this she's not bright.
- 34:34Speaker 2: He She goes, oh, a taxi and he goes, yes,
- 34:39Speaker 2: a and he says the word for taxi in his language.
- 34:43Speaker 2: She goes, what's that mean? And he goes taxings.
- 34:49Speaker 1: He dumb, dumb, we just said it bless her. So
- 34:54Speaker 1: and we've seen all the postings from like her cousin
- 34:56Speaker 1: and everything that have been online. You guys, it's.
- 34:59Speaker 2: She's a scammer, like faking cancer. They like, yeah, she's
- 35:05Speaker 2: she's blanchert Yeah, they say, god mm hmm.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Yeah. I can't look her.
- 35:12Speaker 2: So I like her manicure. That's the nicest thing I
- 35:15Speaker 2: can say about her.
- 35:16Speaker 1: Okay. I think her wigs look great. Okay, Okay. So
- 35:21Speaker 1: she's pouting and she says to him, she's you surprised
- 35:26Speaker 1: me with that uncle thing, and how am I going
- 35:28Speaker 1: to learn to tie that thing on my head? I'm
- 35:30Speaker 1: gonna look ridiculous. And he says, well, I'm from Ebu, lend,
- 35:35Speaker 1: so you're going to have to learn. I have a
- 35:37Speaker 1: note to myself Igbo. But you don't say the G
- 35:40Speaker 1: so it's Ebu just so. I'm just I made a note,
- 35:44Speaker 1: so I said, try to say it correctly. So, and
- 35:47Speaker 1: then talking, Hetty says, you know, it's important to me
- 35:49Speaker 1: that she needs to learn the language and she needs
- 35:51Speaker 1: to learn the culture. I was like, she's not gonna
- 35:53Speaker 1: be able to learn this language on this two week trip. No. Yeah,
- 35:58Speaker 1: So they go to a restaurant.
- 35:59Speaker 2: She does I can't even understand in English that taxi
- 36:03Speaker 2: means the thing.
- 36:04Speaker 1: She was winning it. So they go to a restaurant
- 36:08Speaker 1: and they're showing the food. They have this palm wine,
- 36:11Speaker 1: they have fufu, they have this soup, and she goes,
- 36:14Speaker 1: you know, I researched the fufu and how to do
- 36:16Speaker 1: it online, and he says, okay, great. So it's fermented kasava,
- 36:21Speaker 1: which I don't know what that is. But you get
- 36:23Speaker 1: it and you roll it around, you make it into
- 36:25Speaker 1: a ball, and then you dip it. So she's sort
- 36:28Speaker 1: of making it flat so it's easier to dip, and
- 36:30Speaker 1: he's going, ballet, do it, ballet again. You're not doing
- 36:33Speaker 1: it right. Make it round. You're not doing it right.
- 36:35Speaker 1: And he's telling her to dip her hand in the
- 36:38Speaker 1: soup and eat it. And she's like now, she says,
- 36:42Speaker 1: you know, he's trying to prove something to me, and
- 36:44Speaker 1: he's being too forceful about it. I work in the
- 36:47Speaker 1: nursing field, and I know what kind of germs get
- 36:50Speaker 1: under your fingernails. I think she's like an elderly caregiver
- 36:53Speaker 1: like Angela.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Was okay because I was so like what does in
- 36:57Speaker 2: the nursing field mean. She's definitely not a nurse. She
- 37:01Speaker 2: could not be a nurse.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Also, baby girl Lisa was also like an elderly caregiver.
- 37:05Speaker 2: And Danielle, Danielle and Mohammed.
- 37:10Speaker 1: But she did get her nursing degree eventually seven years later.
- 37:13Speaker 2: Yeah, yes, you're right.
- 37:16Speaker 1: So he has her taste the wine and so she
- 37:19Speaker 1: takes a sip and he says, you have to respect it.
- 37:21Speaker 1: You have to respect the wine. And she goes, okay,
- 37:24Speaker 1: I respect it. And he says, in our dialect we
- 37:27Speaker 1: call it moon bossa. I don't know what it was,
- 37:31Speaker 1: and he goes say it. So she says moon bossa
- 37:34Speaker 1: and he goes, no, call it very well, say it again.
- 37:37Speaker 1: Say it and she goes, I'm trying to say it,
- 37:40Speaker 1: and he goes, you're not saying it right, and she
- 37:43Speaker 1: goes stop it. She says, you drink it and you
- 37:46Speaker 1: respect it. She says, good for her.
- 37:49Speaker 2: He was being so aggressive.
- 37:51Speaker 1: Yeah do it this way, do it this way, and
- 37:53Speaker 1: she says, stop raising your voice at me, don't talk
- 37:55Speaker 1: to me that way, and he goes, you relax, and
- 37:59Speaker 1: then he says, I hope you're not drunk. One sip
- 38:01Speaker 1: can change your system. I think you're drunk. And he's
- 38:04Speaker 1: like waving his hand in front of her face and
- 38:07Speaker 1: she goes, stop, I took one zip and she says,
- 38:10Speaker 1: you're the one that's changed you. Look at you. She says,
- 38:12Speaker 1: put the wine down and talk nicely, and he says,
- 38:17Speaker 1: stand up and walk right now. I want to see
- 38:18Speaker 1: if you can walk. She said, one sip of this thing,
- 38:21Speaker 1: and so he wants to see if like she's so
- 38:22Speaker 1: drunk she can't walk, and she goes, oh yeah, watch
- 38:24Speaker 1: me walk. She goes outside, she said on a crazy
- 38:29Speaker 1: outfit by the way.
- 38:30Speaker 2: So I know, but I was like, go walk to
- 38:34Speaker 2: the airport, go home.
- 38:36Speaker 1: Go right to a production van. So she gets her
- 38:39Speaker 1: vape and she's out there like shaking it to get
- 38:41Speaker 1: the juice out, and then she's inhaling and going ah,
- 38:48Speaker 1: and he walks out and he's like, where is my
- 38:50Speaker 1: Woman's hilarious. So she's like, I am mad. He's not
- 38:56Speaker 1: going to talk to me like that and shake his
- 38:58Speaker 1: hand in front of my face. So he goes out
- 39:02Speaker 1: and he's like, baby, why are you out here? And
- 39:05Speaker 1: she goes, why are you talking to me? Like put
- 39:07Speaker 1: your hand in my face, talk to me like that,
- 39:09Speaker 1: and he goes, I wanted to be sure you're okay
- 39:11Speaker 1: because of the wine. And she goes, I maybe had
- 39:14Speaker 1: two SIPs and he says, one drop can change you.
- 39:18Speaker 1: I mean, what is it? Is it? Heroin? Like? What
- 39:20Speaker 1: is this wine?
- 39:21Speaker 2: Geez?
- 39:22Speaker 1: And she goes, well, then why would you order it
- 39:24Speaker 1: and drink it and have me drink it? And he goes,
- 39:27Speaker 1: I wanted you to know about our traditional drinks that
- 39:30Speaker 1: make you so drunk after one step that you wave
- 39:32Speaker 1: your hand on somebody's face and can't walk. And she goes,
- 39:36Speaker 1: and you can't get mad at me that I can't
- 39:38Speaker 1: pronounce everything properly. I'm an American and you don't pronounce
- 39:43Speaker 1: everything properly either, And he says, but you came to Africa,
- 39:47Speaker 1: you came to Nigeria. And she says, so what, don't
- 39:50Speaker 1: raise your voice? You'd be nice. And she's like, and
- 39:55Speaker 1: she's shaking that thing to get the last of the juice. Yeah,
- 39:58Speaker 1: and he goes, how could I raise my voice? Just you,
- 40:01Speaker 1: my beautiful queen. You look at you. You're so beautiful,
- 40:04Speaker 1: my beautiful queen talking and she goes the way he's
- 40:08Speaker 1: behaving is given off warning signs yes, yes, So he says, listen,
- 40:15Speaker 1: I told my uncle you are Christian, but you are smoking.
- 40:18Speaker 1: Should I tell him that you don't vape? I don't
- 40:21Speaker 1: want to be a liar. In my family, we only
- 40:23Speaker 1: tell the truth and we don't tell lies, no matter
- 40:26Speaker 1: how hard. And she goes what. She goes, you have
- 40:30Speaker 1: to be a Christian? What does that have to do
- 40:32Speaker 1: with vaping? And she goes, so, if he doesn't get
- 40:35Speaker 1: the blessing, then we can't get married. He says, I'm
- 40:38Speaker 1: a grown man and I can make my own decision.
- 40:40Speaker 1: But I did come from somewhere. If they've gone back
- 40:42Speaker 1: inside now, he says, in my family, we have our
- 40:45Speaker 1: way of doing things, and we have to be sure
- 40:47Speaker 1: that we have the blessing. And he says, my biggest
- 40:50Speaker 1: concern is your vaping. And she goes, oh, and he
- 40:55Speaker 1: goes what And shees just thinking about something and they're
- 41:01Speaker 1: talking head she has He's concerned about the vaping, but
- 41:04Speaker 1: that seems really small compared to all the other things
- 41:08Speaker 1: he doesn't know. And what's that telling everything? Does he
- 41:12Speaker 1: have to tell his family about it? I don't want
- 41:18Speaker 1: to lose Daniel, Okay.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Why he was just screaming at you to eat soup
- 41:24Speaker 2: with your hands.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Soup with your hands is a choice.
- 41:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like it, but I know it's cultural,
- 41:31Speaker 2: so whatever. But she's just not bright because at least
- 41:36Speaker 2: she's seeing the red flags. But it has taken her
- 41:41Speaker 2: five bad marriages to see. Well, I know, she said
- 41:45Speaker 2: like three of them were bad at least and some
- 41:48Speaker 2: of them, I'm pretty bad divorce, so yes, but one
- 41:54Speaker 2: was because she decided she was lesbian, right right right, right,
- 41:57Speaker 2: right right. But there have been maybe fifteen people that
- 42:02Speaker 2: have been not great because they've moved like fifteen times.
- 42:06Speaker 2: So Faith is gone to fifteen schools that's in the
- 42:10Speaker 2: same So each one she learns like a little bit more,
- 42:15Speaker 2: but so she just learns a little bit slower than
- 42:18Speaker 2: the rest of us.
- 42:19Speaker 1: Bless y'all. My entire family wears glasses, So I think
- 42:25Speaker 1: glasses are as important as a haircut or your makeup
- 42:27Speaker 1: or your clothes. They're one of the first things people
- 42:29Speaker 1: noticed when they look at you. So it's wild how
- 42:32Speaker 1: buying glasses has always felt hard and impossible to find
- 42:35Speaker 1: styles you actually like, Like you think you find something
- 42:37Speaker 1: online and you get them and you're like, oh my gosh,
- 42:40Speaker 1: these are outdated. They're like the wrong size for your face.
- 42:43Speaker 1: And this is why I'm obsessed with Warby Parker. Seriously,
- 42:46Speaker 1: nothing comes close on quality, price, selection, customer service. My
- 42:50Speaker 1: entire family currently wears Warby Parker glasses and sunglasses. I
- 42:54Speaker 1: have three pair right now in my purse. So you
- 42:58Speaker 1: need to check out the Warby Parker virtual try on.
- 43:01Speaker 1: It's a game changer. You can literally try on glasses
- 43:04Speaker 1: from your phone before you buy, and it's crazy how
- 43:06Speaker 1: well it actually works. I've tried other virtual trials that
- 43:10Speaker 1: feel real janky. It looks like they're doing like a
- 43:12Speaker 1: cut and paste, but with Warby Parker, you can genuinely
- 43:15Speaker 1: tell how the frames are going to look and fit,
- 43:18Speaker 1: so you don't get something like huge on your face
- 43:20Speaker 1: or too tiny on your face. You just point your
- 43:23Speaker 1: camera and boom, you can see tons of frames on
- 43:25Speaker 1: your face in real time. I love it. And when
- 43:27Speaker 1: it comes to quality for the price, Warby Parker is
- 43:30Speaker 1: the best. Their prescription glasses start at ninety five dollars,
- 43:34Speaker 1: so you can actually get quality and stylish frames at
- 43:37Speaker 1: an affordable price. And they don't just offer the incredible
- 43:40Speaker 1: prescription glasses, they have everything you need for happier eyes.
- 43:43Speaker 1: That includes contact lenses, online eye exams, and sunglasses. It's
- 43:49Speaker 1: all in one place, which makes everything so much easier.
- 43:52Speaker 1: My daughter has her prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses from
- 43:56Speaker 1: Warby Parker. Really cute. They also have over three hundreds
- 44:00Speaker 1: tell stores across the US. We have one right by
- 44:02Speaker 1: my house. We love going in there. The staff is
- 44:04Speaker 1: so fun and nice and they really know their stuff.
- 44:07Speaker 1: I mean they will look right at you and say, girl,
- 44:09Speaker 1: those are too big for your face. And you know,
- 44:11Speaker 1: I'm always like what about this? What about that? And
- 44:13Speaker 1: they're very honest and I love the people in there,
- 44:16Speaker 1: So it's nice to know you have that in person
- 44:18Speaker 1: option if you ever want it. And as you know,
- 44:21Speaker 1: for every pair of glasses they sell, they give a
- 44:25Speaker 1: pair to someone in need. Warby Parker has distributed over
- 44:28Speaker 1: twenty million pairs of glasses to people in need through
- 44:30Speaker 1: its buy a Pair, Give a Pair program, And they're
- 44:34Speaker 1: covered by major eye insurance plans. So when you're online,
- 44:37Speaker 1: you just enter your information to see if you're eligible
- 44:39Speaker 1: for benefits, and if you are, they will automatically apply
- 44:42Speaker 1: them for you. Warby Parker gives you quality and better
- 44:45Speaker 1: looking prescription eyewear at a fraction of the going price.
- 44:48Speaker 1: Our listeners get fifteen percent plus free shipping when they
- 44:52Speaker 1: buy two or more pairs of prescription glasses at Warbyparker
- 44:56Speaker 1: dot com slash pink Shade. That's fifteen percent and off.
- 45:00Speaker 1: When you buy two pairs of glasses at warby Parker
- 45:05Speaker 1: dot com slash pink Shade. After you purchased, they will
- 45:09Speaker 1: ask you where did you hear about us? And please
- 45:11Speaker 1: support our show and tell them we sent you. Okay,
- 45:15Speaker 1: let's move to Forest and Sheena. And my only note
- 45:23Speaker 1: for these two is remember when the parents said they
- 45:25Speaker 1: would have to pay to stay at their place? Yeah?
- 45:29Speaker 1: Now I'm like, is it because their place is an airbnb?
- 45:32Speaker 2: It's an airbnb?
- 45:33Speaker 1: And they're like, we had other bookings, so we'd have
- 45:35Speaker 1: to bump people and you'd have to pay unclear? Okay,
- 45:37Speaker 1: go ahead.
- 45:38Speaker 2: I would still let them stay for free, especially because
- 45:41Speaker 2: she's paid for most of it.
- 45:43Speaker 1: And probably they didn't say that. Now we're finding out.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah, so they get on this tricycle thing once again.
- 45:50Speaker 2: He is too large for this society. Also, Sheina is
- 45:54Speaker 2: size beautiful, so you have two sized beautiful people. He
- 45:58Speaker 2: is scared because he has to put his foot down
- 46:02Speaker 2: cut them off financially, but he also needs to win
- 46:05Speaker 2: them over and get their blessing to Mary Sheena, and
- 46:09Speaker 2: he's just learned. They're going to question him about why
- 46:11Speaker 2: he doesn't have a job, and he says, I just
- 46:14Speaker 2: a loser on disability. You don't have to be though.
- 46:18Speaker 1: I think he could work.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Niles works. I think lots of people with autism spectrum
- 46:24Speaker 2: disorder and ADHD can work. I think Mollie has infantilized
- 46:28Speaker 2: him and made him think that he cannot do anything and.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Is helpless without her.
- 46:34Speaker 2: So far, he's done fine on this trip, and Molly
- 46:37Speaker 2: has needed him more than she's he's needed her. So
- 46:42Speaker 2: the dad and the sister are outside waiting for them,
- 46:45Speaker 2: and they're all shy, so it's just four people standing
- 46:48Speaker 2: around staring at each other.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 46:50Speaker 2: Yeah, apparently the mom is sick, so we won't he
- 46:55Speaker 2: won't be meeting her. I was suspicious. So the place
- 47:00Speaker 2: is beautiful. It is huge backyard, lots of like cute
- 47:06Speaker 2: lawn furniture. There's a pool, there's a huge gate.
- 47:10Speaker 1: It is like.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Greenery and good manicured lawns and like super fancy and
- 47:18Speaker 2: it's a bed and breakfast that they run. And Forrest says,
- 47:22Speaker 2: I'm confused because she's always told me she needs money
- 47:26Speaker 2: because they need to fix up the roof or whatever.
- 47:29Speaker 2: He's he thought they were living in poverty, like like
- 47:34Speaker 2: big ed when he went to see Rose.
- 47:36Speaker 1: Yes, and that's what that's what we thought. Yes, but
- 47:42Speaker 1: it's really not. I would kill the live there. They
- 47:44Speaker 1: even have inside the place, which is a beautiful, huge house.
- 47:49Speaker 1: They have one of those black signs with the white
- 47:51Speaker 1: letters that you move around. This is welcome to whoever
- 47:55Speaker 1: it is. Yeah, it says welcome, Sir Forrest. So he's
- 48:01Speaker 1: thinking things are not adding up.
- 48:04Speaker 2: So he kind of says to Sheina, your dad seems awesome,
- 48:09Speaker 2: and she says they are great people. She's like, hmm,
- 48:14Speaker 2: you've said they've threatened to throw you out on the street.
- 48:17Speaker 1: That was the sister, right, that's the sister.
- 48:20Speaker 2: Yes, well, no, he said, she she I went back
- 48:24Speaker 2: and looked at some of the stuff she had said.
- 48:26Speaker 2: She had said her mom had said like horrible things
- 48:31Speaker 2: to her and threatened to throw her out and say
- 48:36Speaker 2: like horrible things about her to everyone in the town.
- 48:39Speaker 2: So maybe the mom is the bad one. And that's
- 48:44Speaker 2: why she has been poisoned and locked up. And they're
- 48:47Speaker 2: saying she's sick.
- 48:49Speaker 1: But that's the sister that we met. That's who that was.
- 48:52Speaker 1: Is the dad and the dad and the sister. We
- 48:54Speaker 1: have not met the mom.
- 48:56Speaker 2: So the producer asks Sheena, do you think Forest was
- 49:01Speaker 2: expecting something different from the house, and she says yes,
- 49:05Speaker 2: and that's probably my fault. There are things I haven't
- 49:09Speaker 2: been honest about and I'm scared that something could be
- 49:13Speaker 2: said and everything will fall apart. Wow. So they serve
- 49:20Speaker 2: dinner and he says Forrest is like, so far, they
- 49:23Speaker 2: aren't the evil dragons I've been expecting. They're very nice.
- 49:28Speaker 2: So they ask about his trip to the Philippines and
- 49:30Speaker 2: he says, it was long, but I got to see
- 49:32Speaker 2: Sheena for the first time.
- 49:35Speaker 1: Why twenty nineteen.
- 49:37Speaker 2: We've seen the pictures drinking Starbucks. So they ask, what
- 49:43Speaker 2: were you expecting from us, and he says, well, my
- 49:46Speaker 2: mom kind of thought I was walking into a scam
- 49:51Speaker 2: and I can't believe you said that, and they say, well,
- 49:54Speaker 2: there are scammers everywhere, and we're going to meet your
- 49:56Speaker 2: mom tomorrow and prove her wrong. Goodness, and this is
- 50:00Speaker 2: says it's been so many years. You know, we didn't
- 50:02Speaker 2: know if we'd ever meet you. And he says, yeah,
- 50:05Speaker 2: I would have come sooner, but I don't make much.
- 50:10Speaker 2: It was a financial problem, and she says, just eat, babe,
- 50:16Speaker 2: just to eat. She's like, don't talk.
- 50:17Speaker 1: Don't talk.
- 50:18Speaker 2: And the sister says, what is your job and he says.
- 50:25Speaker 1: Choking.
- 50:25Speaker 2: He still literally starts choking on his food. He goes,
- 50:29Speaker 2: I'm unemployed and on disability and I have autism. I
- 50:35Speaker 2: have trouble talking to people, like right now, I am
- 50:37Speaker 2: having trouble talking to you. Even he's doing fine.
- 50:42Speaker 1: He's doing fine.
- 50:43Speaker 2: He is stressed. And the sister says, well, do you
- 50:48Speaker 2: make enough to support yourself and he says, yeah, but
- 50:51Speaker 2: it's not enough for like a family or a wife.
- 50:54Speaker 2: So I know I'm going to be getting a full
- 50:56Speaker 2: time job soon and I would like to ask for
- 51:01Speaker 2: your blessing to marry Sheena, which is maybe not the right.
- 51:04Speaker 1: Time, but I'm unemployed and I plan in the future
- 51:09Speaker 1: I have a job.
- 51:11Speaker 2: I couldn't need to do that at anytime.
- 51:13Speaker 1: But probably needs to do that Before they apply for
- 51:17Speaker 1: the K one visa, he has to prove that he
- 51:21Speaker 1: can support her, yes.
- 51:22Speaker 2: Or Molly is going to have to sponsor her.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Yeah, totally. Yeah.
- 51:26Speaker 2: So she the dad says, well, you know, you need
- 51:30Speaker 2: to have funds, you need a job, and he's like, yeah,
- 51:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna work full time again. Why haven't you that's far. Yeah,
- 51:40Speaker 2: he says it's because he wanted to talk to Sheena
- 51:43Speaker 2: all day so they could be on the same time zone.
- 51:47Speaker 2: The story keeps changing, and then it was because of
- 51:50Speaker 2: his disability because he couldn't focus at work. On Reddit,
- 51:55Speaker 2: they say he works at a pharmacy. Now so good. Yeah.
- 52:00Speaker 2: So dad tells us he has concerns because he believes
- 52:04Speaker 2: the man should support the wife and Forrest doesn't have
- 52:06Speaker 2: any money. But also Sheena is very helpful and he
- 52:13Speaker 2: can't afford.
- 52:14Speaker 1: To lose that. There we go, yeah we uh huh.
- 52:19Speaker 2: So he says, okay, you have my blessing, but you
- 52:23Speaker 2: need to help her, and you know she helps us
- 52:28Speaker 2: too with funds and things, basically saying, I will give
- 52:32Speaker 2: you my blessing, but you need to support us to
- 52:35Speaker 2: take over because she is supporting us.
- 52:37Speaker 1: Yes, if Sheena gives three hundred dollars a month to
- 52:41Speaker 1: the house, you guys have to continue to do that
- 52:43Speaker 1: even if you get married.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. So the sister says, I'm really excited to
- 52:48Speaker 2: meet your parents. Let's change the subject.
- 52:50Speaker 1: And I was like, it to a worse subject.
- 52:54Speaker 2: So, wait, you'll be lucky if Molly doesn't flip a
- 52:58Speaker 2: table and Dev's teeth fly out. Now, like, there are
- 53:02Speaker 2: so many bad scenarios that can happen tomorrow, so Forrest says,
- 53:07Speaker 2: And they're gonna be wearing those stupid hats, so it's
- 53:10Speaker 2: gonna be even worse. So Forrest says, he's a He's like,
- 53:14Speaker 2: I know my mom is gonna flip out when she
- 53:17Speaker 2: sees how sheina is, how nice this place is, and
- 53:20Speaker 2: she's gonna think everything has.
- 53:22Speaker 1: Been a lie. Yeah, totally is. Yeah, and we do too,
- 53:26Speaker 1: kind of uh huh because the dad and the sister
- 53:29Speaker 1: also speak perfect English. Yeah, and you wonder what other
- 53:33Speaker 1: languages they speak, because you know, they get a lot
- 53:37Speaker 1: of tourists and stuff.
- 53:38Speaker 2: So yeah, yeah, that's true. I don't know what's going on.
- 53:43Speaker 2: I feel like there's still there's so much we don't know.
- 53:46Speaker 2: There's so many mysteries here. She she looks stressed, so stressed,
- 53:52Speaker 2: and she said, I haven't been honest about things. So,
- 53:55Speaker 2: but is it because of her parents? I just I
- 53:58Speaker 2: want she need to be a good lady.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I want them to work. And it could just be
- 54:03Speaker 1: mom is like a total asshole and rules the family
- 54:07Speaker 1: and she's sick, but she's not very sick. You know,
- 54:11Speaker 1: she's sick like Sumit's mom pretends to be sick. I'm dizzy. Yeah,
- 54:16Speaker 1: I'm so dizzy. Somebody come in here, give me a
- 54:19Speaker 1: live left love poster. Okay, Laura and beer Can. So
- 54:26Speaker 1: here's what I found out about beer Can's debt, because
- 54:30Speaker 1: I did have lots of people reach out to say
- 54:32Speaker 1: they don't think it matters if you have debt when
- 54:35Speaker 1: you get the K one visa. So here's what I
- 54:38Speaker 1: found when I asked our friend doctor Google. It says
- 54:42Speaker 1: having substantial debt doesn't automatically disqualify you for a K
- 54:46Speaker 1: one visa, but the US citizen petitioner must prove they
- 54:50Speaker 1: can financially support the immigrant with sufficient income, potentially requiring
- 54:55Speaker 1: a joint sponsor if debt reduces their ability to meet
- 54:59Speaker 1: that income threshold. The key is demonstrating financial stability and
- 55:03Speaker 1: income through tax returns and assets, not just having debt
- 55:07Speaker 1: and being transparent about liabilities to avoid complications immigration officers
- 55:12Speaker 1: look at the overall financial picture. So unclear.
- 55:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that was a lot of words.
- 55:21Speaker 1: That was a lot of words that AI gave me
- 55:23Speaker 1: to confuse me. Okay. Yeah. So we open up with
- 55:28Speaker 1: Laura saying, Okay, so you're telling me about this big
- 55:32Speaker 1: debt and everybody thinks you're using me for a green
- 55:35Speaker 1: cart in money. And now I'm wondering if that's true.
- 55:38Speaker 1: And he says, but do you think that? And she goes, now,
- 55:43Speaker 1: I don't know, and he says, you know that I
- 55:46Speaker 1: am a person. Am not like that. And if I
- 55:49Speaker 1: was like that, I just wouldn't have told you about
- 55:51Speaker 1: the debt, you know. And I know I just have
- 55:53Speaker 1: to hustle to make some money to pay it off.
- 55:57Speaker 1: Shalking ahead, Laura says.
- 55:58Speaker 2: Well why haven't you? This is all every It's like Forrest,
- 56:03Speaker 2: I'm going to do well. I'm going to go yeah,
- 56:05Speaker 2: yeah I could have.
- 56:06Speaker 1: Here's my plan for doing it next year.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:09Speaker 1: Yeah. So I'm talking to Ed. She says, he's just
- 56:12Speaker 1: told me he's fifty thousand dollars in debt and would
- 56:15Speaker 1: just flee the country to get rid of his debt
- 56:18Speaker 1: and that makes me feel like he's straight up using me.
- 56:22Speaker 1: So they leave the restaurant and head home, and it
- 56:26Speaker 1: says thirty minutes later and we see him in the kitchen,
- 56:28Speaker 1: you know, doing the dishes, and the producer's talking to her,
- 56:32Speaker 1: and she says, I don't know what to think. I'm frustrated.
- 56:35Speaker 1: You know, he told me about this dead at dinner
- 56:38Speaker 1: and he's only talked about honesty and pride and respect.
- 56:42Speaker 1: But it's hard to respect somebody who hasn't been telling
- 56:45Speaker 1: me the truth. And I thought he was the man
- 56:47Speaker 1: who would honor the provide and respect as a man
- 56:51Speaker 1: that he talks about, But now I don't know. So
- 56:56Speaker 1: she goes into the kitchen and he says, why are
- 56:59Speaker 1: you mad at I'm just a little baby. Oh my god,
- 57:02Speaker 1: I link now, and she goes, stop trying to be cute.
- 57:07Speaker 1: He goes, I'm not trying to be cute. Why are
- 57:09Speaker 1: you mad at me? She's like, stop it. He pushes
- 57:13Speaker 1: her up against the wall and they like make out, yeah,
- 57:17Speaker 1: and then he takes her hand. He goes, you can't
- 57:18Speaker 1: be mad at me and takes her into the bedroom.
- 57:21Speaker 1: I think in addition to Nietzsche, he's been reading up
- 57:24Speaker 1: on his harlequin. Momisces, yep, yeah, so and he're talking
- 57:28Speaker 1: to him.
- 57:29Speaker 2: It's like, which ware Wolf's book character should I act?
- 57:33Speaker 1: Like?
- 57:33Speaker 2: So first I'm going to try coquettish and see if
- 57:36Speaker 2: she will.
- 57:37Speaker 1: Fall for that. But she didn't fall for that. So
- 57:39Speaker 1: next I'm gonna go smoldering bad boy vampire and maybe
- 57:45Speaker 1: that'll work. And it does. So I'm talking to her.
- 57:48Speaker 1: She says, yes, I'm still nervous about his intentions. But yeah,
- 57:53Speaker 1: these are all my fantasies rolled into one moment. I mean,
- 57:56Speaker 1: having a hot Turkish god push you against the wall
- 57:59Speaker 1: and make out with you. Wow, it's really irresistible.
- 58:02Speaker 2: Okay, okay.
- 58:05Speaker 1: So now they're going to a place where they make
- 58:07Speaker 1: evil eye beads, and it was funny because they see
- 58:09Speaker 1: some like, you know, street dogs and she goes, oh,
- 58:12Speaker 1: I forgot. You don't like dogs. He goes, I don't
- 58:15Speaker 1: like them because they they bite you and they bark you.
- 58:20Speaker 1: She goes, no, they bark at you. He goes, whatever,
- 58:22Speaker 1: my English isn't perfect.
- 58:24Speaker 2: So I didn't like that. I was like, how many
- 58:26Speaker 2: languages do you speak?
- 58:27Speaker 1: Laura like, yeah, she knew what he meant.
- 58:31Speaker 2: Yeah, don't you don't need to correct his English. He
- 58:34Speaker 2: speaks perfectly fine English.
- 58:37Speaker 1: So they're going to this place where they make these
- 58:39Speaker 1: evil eye beads and they're all hanging in the trees
- 58:41Speaker 1: and stuff, and we find out a learning channel. Evil
- 58:44Speaker 1: eye beads are for good luck. This dates back three
- 58:47Speaker 1: thousand years to ancient times. And he explains that, like,
- 58:50Speaker 1: if people are jealous of you or they're talking bad
- 58:53Speaker 1: about you, and you have on the evil eye, it'll catch,
- 58:56Speaker 1: it'll catch it, it'll consume that.
- 58:58Speaker 2: Obsessed with the evil a lie Lauren of Lauren and Alexi,
- 59:03Speaker 2: and she designs clothes and stuff with the evil eye
- 59:06Speaker 2: on it.
- 59:07Speaker 1: Yeah, she's like lippy.
- 59:09Speaker 2: It repels Libby and Andre.
- 59:12Speaker 1: I have it on my neck, on my bag, on
- 59:13Speaker 1: my clothes. And I think I didn't know that that
- 59:16Speaker 1: the evil eye was supposed to like catch the negativity.
- 59:19Speaker 1: I didn't know. I thought it was just a see
- 59:22Speaker 1: bad whatever. It doesn't. Who cares, beer Kan says, I
- 59:26Speaker 1: don't know. People need things to believe in, but me, no,
- 59:29Speaker 1: I'm grounded in reality. Did you know that I read? Okay?
- 59:34Speaker 2: So he says, But she likes crafts, so I thought
- 59:38Speaker 2: she'd enjoy this I thought it was so funny because
- 59:41Speaker 2: she's already like such older than him. Yeah, a school teacher,
- 59:45Speaker 2: so even though she does the erotic fiction, she's like
- 59:49Speaker 2: still a crafty gal.
- 59:50Speaker 1: He's like, tomorrow we're going to a scrapbooking lessons.
- 59:56Speaker 2: Sexy scraph looking, Yeah, there's she didn't know about that.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I've been painting. Yeah. Does she know about sneaky Sasquatch?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You could play it on Apple Arcade. So next she
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: asked him about his family. She was like, so, you know,
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: I don't know much about your family, and he goes, no,
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: I don't talk to them very much. You know, my
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: parents are not happy that I'm with you. Wow, and
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: you're talking to She goes, it's weird because my family
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: doesn't approve of this relationship. And now I'm hearing his
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: family doesn't approve of this relationship. It's very upsetting. It's
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: hard to have a relationship when everything is against you.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: Why do you think is it because she's American or older?
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: What else? Could not? Their religion?
- 1:00:45Speaker 1: Maybe all three?
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: Yeah, I guess.
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: And whatever he knows for his real job that we
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: don't know yet. They're probably they don't approve of that.
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: Whatever it is if we.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: Don't find out next week, I'm going to flip this table.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Did you know that? This week when we got the screener,
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: I went straight to their section and watched it, and
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: I went straight to their next section to see if
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: we're gonna find out.
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: I'm dying to know.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I'm so frustrated they to say, we'll get the screener,
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: we'll fast forward to it.
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: Okay, No, because next week gets to the friends and
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: they're going to be like, should we say it? We
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: should we say it? There's a big secret she does
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: know about beer Can and then it's going to be
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: like next week on ninety Days, they're going to drag
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: it out too.
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: March. I'm also hoping she's going to realize one of
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: his best friends as a woman. Yeah, and so it's
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: not fair that she can't have a friend, right, So
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: she says to him, She goes, you know, meeting a
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: person's family is a really good way to get to
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: know a person. And he goes, well, my my family
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: now is just my friends, and she goes, well, I
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: understand that because that's how I feel about my friend Michael.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: He's my family and he says, fuck Michael.
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: What Michael needs an evil eye to keep beer Can.
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Away to absorb that. Yeah, And he says, I don't
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: want you too close to him. I don't like him,
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: and she goes, well, he's very important to me and
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: we're together all the time. And he says, well, here's
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: the solution. You'll cut him out of out of your life.
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: And she goes, Okay, it's an ultimatum. And he goes, no,
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: it's not an ultimatum. You choose me, that's it. And
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: she goes, what And he says, we are talking marriage,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: and when we get married, he cannot be in our lives. Yeah,
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: you heard me right. Well. Also, he's he's fully deflecting
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: from his family, his shady job, and his debts. One.
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: But I think he's also looked at her kindle and
- 1:02:51Speaker 2: he's seen that she has a lot of heroes, men
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: that are very uhrhet butler And that was the first
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: example I can think current references only and very curus.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: So he's trying to be like really assertive.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: Really a strong man that you know, I will just
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: tell my woman what to do, yeah, because she'll get
- 1:03:12Speaker 1: turned on by that. Yeah, yeah, and then later on
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: we'll make out by the wall, and she says, Michael
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: is just my friend and he's not asking me to
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: cut you out. And he goes, okay, but this is
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: our relationship. It's you don't need an activities buddy, which
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: is kind of what Michael is I do.
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: Are you gonna play pickleball with her?
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Are you going to make bread with her?
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: They are pickleball champions, they have literally trophies.
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah, so she says, you know, a regarding beer can,
- 1:03:48Speaker 1: she says, this changes my opinion on beer can a bit.
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: You know, he's trying to force me to make a
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: decision that I don't want to make. And he says, well,
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: he says to her, he says, well think a little
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: on it now, and I'm going to get some air
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: or some peace. And he walks out of the Evil
- 1:04:05Speaker 1: Eye place and she's like, oh, and in the talking her,
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: she goes, I don't like this weird, controlling side of him.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: It's shocking that he would walk out. It's super disrespectful.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: It doesn't feel like the man I knew online. I
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: think he literally like walked to the other side of
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: that door to smoke. I don't think yeah, calm down,
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: I don't think he got in the car and left.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: But also, crafting is supposed to make people zen and
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: it was not doing it.
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: No, no, okay, we're going to finish up with Rick
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: and Trish slash Trisha and uh I did a reel
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: about them too, guys, because wow, wow do I hate
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: this guy? Wow?
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: Was it about the tarp? Mm hmm okay, I saw
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: that one where we were talking about the turf.
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: No, no, no, this is a new one. And this
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: is about where she calls him cheap and he goes,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: I'm not I ain't nobody, sugar daddy. No joke, no joke. Bye.
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: So they had makeup sex after their argument and it
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: was good. She says it wasn't tarp good, but it
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: was okay.
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: So they are going by plane to a romantic trip
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: to Newsy Bay, but it's kind of looks like nowsy,
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: like Nosy Bay, which is my nickname. I'm a nosy Bee.
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: So they drive by a mall and she goes, you
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: should buy me some things like a bathing suit, and
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: he says, here we go. I know you have expensive
- 1:05:39Speaker 2: tastes and then he calls her bougie and she gets
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: really mad and he says I'm nobody's sugar daddy, never have,
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: never will be. She says, you are cheap because I
- 1:05:49Speaker 2: have no money. I can't be a sugar daddy because
- 1:05:53Speaker 2: I'm broke. So Tricia says, says, I'm not a sugar baby.
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: I have my own money.
- 1:05:59Speaker 2: You just so you assume the worst, and girl, you
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: don't know the worst. The worst is what he did,
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: and he has not told you yet, so gear up
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: for that. They get to the hotel and he is like,
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: look what I did, which is what the hotel did,
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: which was put out flowers and things like. He wants credit,
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: like he physically did it, and she says, I don't care,
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: and he says, because the roses aren't made of gold, bougie,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: and sure, he's such a jerk. They start arguing about
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: the sugar baby thing, and he says, I already do
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: things for you. Didn't I pay your rent? And she says, so,
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: I guess he did pay her rent at some point
- 1:06:42Speaker 2: or every month.
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: We don't know, We don't know.
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: And he says, I'm gonna get you what you need,
- 1:06:48Speaker 2: but not always what you want, which is a rolling
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Stone song, and she says, you forget it, keep your money,
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: and he says, I could have gotten this type of
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: attitude in this States.
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well, I don't have to come all the
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: way over here. I could be treated bad by a
- 1:07:04Speaker 1: woman in the States.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: Like all American women are gold diggers, and he was
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: hoping for There's plenty of women who have jobs and
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: can support themselves in the States. That is just not
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: who you are attracting. Because you are online looking for
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: an international sex tourist.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: Sugar Baby nailed it. Haf your age.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: Maybe the had a woman your own age and she'll
- 1:07:28Speaker 2: be able to support herself. So he says, I thought
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: you were different, and she says I thought you were
- 1:07:35Speaker 2: different too, and like, I didn't think you'd bring a
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: tarp when we were having this. So he says, you
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: thought I was like your ex you're rich ex, I'm not.
- 1:07:46Speaker 2: And I was like, well, you are like the ex,
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: but it's because of the cheating, not the finances.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: So trishays I'm with him for love, and I hate
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: that he always assumes otherwise. And he says, you know
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: what I do for a living, What were you expecting?
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: I sell hair extensions seasonally for God's sake, and it's
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: not tap dancing lesson season.
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: So what am I supposed to do? So we'll never
- 1:08:17Speaker 1: get over the all selling of hair extensions. It makes
- 1:08:20Speaker 1: no sense.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: Yeah, you can only there's a very short six week
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: window when people buy hair extensions and take tap lessons,
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: and the rest of the time we don't. Also, he
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: lives in Los Angeles where it's the same season all
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: year long, so I don't know.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: What he's talking about.
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: So the next day they go on a boat ride
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: and it's they're all tense because of the fight.
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: The beach is stunning, it is this is the most
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: gorgeous place I've ever seen in my life.
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: And I kept thinking of Katie because one of her
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: life bucket bucket lists is to go in that clear water.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: Where you can see your feet.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I don't know why she really wants that clear water.
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: Okay, tell her to go to Destin, Florida. They have
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: the clear water thereous great and much cheaper Madagascar.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: So he apologizes for the day before. He says it
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: triggered something from a past relationship where he stopped paying
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: for things and then they didn't want to be with
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: him anymore. And he's specifically talking about his baby mama
- 1:09:24Speaker 2: of the two youngest kids.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: That you saw on that Yeah, and she's super sassy.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: She is from Nigeria. He brought her to America on
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: the K one visa and she says he stopped being
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: like loving and nice when she got there. And he says,
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: she stopped like having sex with me because I wasn't
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: paying for everything. It was very felt, very transactional, and
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: they both dropped the ball on what their side of
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: the transaction was. So, yeah, they had two kids though, Yeah,
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: that's true. She was obviously doing something. So he says,
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: you know, I she.
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: Expected more than I could give, and so that's why
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: I've tried to be really transparent about my finances with Trish,
- 1:10:15Speaker 1: less transparent about other things, right, right, But the Finn's
- 1:10:22Speaker 1: he gonna tell her.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: I know, so maybe when we hear about beer Can's shop.
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: So she says, look, I'm never gonna leave you, but
- 1:10:30Speaker 2: I want to make sure you buy me everything I need,
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: which sounds bad, but then she explains she's like, I
- 1:10:38Speaker 2: will be giving up my job and everything when I
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: moved to America, so you'll have to support me at
- 1:10:44Speaker 2: least for a while. She won't be able to work
- 1:10:46Speaker 2: for a while. So he says, yes, I will, you know,
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: and she says, my ex bought me a lot of things,
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: but I wasn't happy. And Rick is so much better
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: because he gives me love. And he says, you think
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: I'm enough? And she says yes, and he says that
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: means so much to me. I was like, you are
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: a cheater and you are asking her for to pump
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: you up and give you assurances that you're enough, and
- 1:11:15Speaker 2: that's fucked up.
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: So I can't wait until she finds out dumps his ass.
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: I just can't wait.
- 1:11:21Speaker 2: I can't wait. And also he's been having sex with
- 1:11:26Speaker 2: her this whole time, well, holding a secret that is
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: so big that she might break up with you, which.
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: He's literally going to tell her four minutes before he
- 1:11:37Speaker 1: goes to the airport because he wants to have all
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: the sex he can yeah before.
- 1:11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it feels like that sex fraud, Like it feels gross.
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: It's like that manipulation to get someone of sex with
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: you by holding this big secret.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: Ye.
- 1:11:52Speaker 2: I hate it. I hate everything about him. He's so gross.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: I agree. But now they're all happy because she still
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: has no idea.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: And they're gonna have makeup sex or everything's great. Okay.
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: So next time on Rick and Tricia, they see lemurs.
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: She calls them something else. She says the word humor
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: a different than we say it, but to us they're
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: lemurs and they're like little cute, little monkey looking things
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: are adorable, and they're looking at the lemurs and he says,
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: you know, all of this is going to be worth
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: it if I can bring a step mommy home for
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: my children. And she says, well, we have to talk
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: about you.
- 1:12:33Speaker 2: You have a mommy.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: I mean yeah, why, yeah, they have a mom And
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: she says, I really want my own kids. And she
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: tells us like, if he says no, we're not going
- 1:12:45Speaker 1: to have kids, then it's a deal breaker, which, by
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: the way, he's probably gonna lie and says I'll have
- 1:12:49Speaker 1: a kid, and then he doesn't want to we'll get up.
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: But sept Anna Lynne says, now that she's with Jovan,
- 1:12:57Speaker 1: her husband, he's giving her trust issues. And she says,
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: remember what we talked about before you came. And he goes, yeah,
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: I told you I'm going to stop talking to that person.
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: And she goes, so let me see your phone. Let
- 1:13:09Speaker 1: me see it now, dum, we'll find out what happens.
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: Beer Can and Laura meet with his friends. It seems
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: like they're at a hookah bar and she said, tell
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: me something I don't know about beer Can and they go,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: did you find out about the debt? Okay? Check, Well
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: there is this one other thing. And the friends are like,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: you better tell her now or it's gonna get worse. Okay, again,
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: we don't know what it is. So Molly and dev
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: arrive at Sheena's parents' house and they were like, whoa,
- 1:13:48Speaker 1: this place is really nice. And Mollie tells the dad,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: sheda told us if she doesn't give you money, you
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: will mistreat her. And the sister and dad are like,
- 1:14:01Speaker 1: what did you say that? And she was like, oh,
- 1:14:05Speaker 1: she's gonna start crying again. Yeah, but I'm.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Glad Molly is actually gonna lay it all out on
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: the table. We're gonna get to the bottom of this.
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Even though she's being a total dick about it. She's
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: we're still gonna hopefully get to the bottom of this mystery.
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: Well, I think she's like, you don't know. You don't guys,
- 1:14:24Speaker 1: You guys don't know what she's been saying about you,
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: right right, She's told you that we're terrible. But listen
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: to what she said about you guys. You know, uh huh. Yeah.
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: Daniel takes Lisa to meet the uncle. She figured out
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: how to wrap that thing around her head and the
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: uncle is like, up on this chair in her room.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: It's like he's a king. And he says, you are
- 1:14:46Speaker 1: not an Ebu woman, and she's like no, and the
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: talking head Lisa says, I'm sitting next to the man
- 1:14:55Speaker 1: that I love and I don't wanna lie. She tells.
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: The uncle says, you are Christian, and she says, I am.
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: I haven't always been a good Christian, but Daniel makes
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: me want to be a better person. And she cries.
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: And then the uncle says, and you are practicing lesbianism.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: She's like what I mean? She's like, I'm not practicing.
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: I got real good at it. Okay, practice makes pro
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: professional lesbian. So obviously the I don't know if he
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: has a list of questions like are you a Christian?
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: Are you a lesbian? Do you vape? Do you steal
- 1:15:40Speaker 1: money from people? Like if he's going through the ten Commandments? Yeah,
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: what are you's doing? Do you murder your neighbor? I
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: don't know, right and just lesbian happened to be one
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: of the questions, But I mean she could She's not
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: a practicing lesbian right now, She's a practicing heterosexual at
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: the moment, she could say right now, now she get
- 1:16:01Speaker 1: answer that with right now?
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: No, let's know, I need her to tell the truth
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: so that he'll break up with her, so that this
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: won't happen, because this is a bad idea, this whole thing.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: He wants an American and he thinks this is the
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: best one he can get, right and.
- 1:16:21Speaker 1: She can't pay she can't pay her rent. How is
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: she going to pay the ten thousand to get him
- 1:16:25Speaker 1: over there?
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: She's gonna ask that friend who is so enabling of
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: this behavior that she needs to have put her foot down.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Faith needs to go no contact. And I mean then
- 1:16:39Speaker 2: she won't be able to get him here because she
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: will have no one to sponsor.
- 1:16:46Speaker 1: What a mess, you guys. This is a great season.
- 1:16:49Speaker 1: We are only on episode seven, but it feels like,
- 1:16:51Speaker 1: you know, and we still haven't seen Alesa and Joshua whatever.
- 1:16:54Speaker 1: Oh h they're going to throw into us at that. Yeah,
- 1:16:57Speaker 1: I mean I think they're going to bring it because
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: I think I'm predicting that Laura and beer Can are
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: going to drop off, And the only reason I'm predicting
- 1:17:07Speaker 1: that is just from things that we saw the previous
- 1:17:09Speaker 1: for the season where the two of them have a
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: fight because Michael shows up. Yeah, and then maybe when
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: we find out what his real job is, she's going
- 1:17:17Speaker 1: to be like, yeah, I can't deal with you being
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: a jiggalow or whatever, or maybe he's like a male
- 1:17:24Speaker 1: prostitute that gives below jobs for money, Like I don't know.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: I mean, then he clearly lied by saying I haven't
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: had sex in this many years, right, which I'm sure
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: he has no problem lying, So I don't know why
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: I'm holding that to some sort of truth standard.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: He got her though, with that making out in the kitchen,
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: he really got her. Kimberly, A Date with Dayline is
