- 0:00Speaker 1: Mark Somemo the issues you really care about on seven
- 0:04Speaker 1: ten wo r.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday. A lot to get to today. We'll
- 0:11Speaker 2: get to Artemis, we'll get to mayor Mom, Danni and more.
- 0:17Speaker 2: You know, we're being explaining to you. The Democrats come
- 0:20Speaker 2: up with these fake narratives, these fake talking points, and
- 0:23Speaker 2: many of them are organized. There's a couple of K
- 0:26Speaker 2: Street groups. That's where all the lobbyists are. K Street
- 0:29Speaker 2: that's where these real deep state lobbying firms are in
- 0:33Speaker 2: these political action you know, these packs, and so sometimes
- 0:38Speaker 2: they have these conference calls in the morning. Well, they'll
- 0:40Speaker 2: tell every major Democrat, here's the talking point, here's the
- 0:43Speaker 2: life of the today. A week or two ago, it
- 0:47Speaker 2: was war crimes. Remember the President tweeted out, it's going
- 0:51Speaker 2: to be bridge and power plant day. We're going to
- 0:53Speaker 2: blow up bridges and power plants. So they were all told,
- 0:56Speaker 2: go on the air, go in print, call it war crimes,
- 1:00Speaker 2: war crimes, blowing up power plants, deliberately blowing up the bridges,
- 1:04Speaker 2: war crimes. So it was all over the fake news.
- 1:08Speaker 2: And again you're left wing friends, they're in a cult.
- 1:12Speaker 2: You can't don't even argue with them. You can't. They're
- 1:14Speaker 2: watching MSNBC and all they're hearing all this is a
- 1:17Speaker 2: war crime, and they believe it. They think they're watching
- 1:20Speaker 2: some sort of experts in a newscast and you're not
- 1:23Speaker 2: going to convince them of anything. You could go to
- 1:27Speaker 2: them and say, hey, every war we ever fought, the
- 1:30Speaker 2: first thing we do is take out the bridges and
- 1:32Speaker 2: power plants. Both Iraq Wars. Day one we took out
- 1:35Speaker 2: bridges and power plants. World War two, that's what we did.
- 1:39Speaker 2: Every day, we blew up bridges. You could show them,
- 1:42Speaker 2: here's the documents, here's the proof. They're still not going
- 1:45Speaker 2: to listen to you. On MSNBC. They said it's a
- 1:49Speaker 2: war crime, so they that's why you'll hear them all
- 1:51Speaker 2: use the same phrases. Now, some of these guys are
- 1:55Speaker 2: not that bright. Hakeem Jeffreys not a very bright guy.
- 1:59Speaker 2: So the problem with him when they give him a
- 2:02Speaker 2: fake talking point to say, he'll keep saying it for weeks,
- 2:06Speaker 2: weeks and weeks and weeks. He'll never stop, even when
- 2:10Speaker 2: it wore out and it's not work, He'll just keep
- 2:11Speaker 2: saying it. Here's Rakiem Jefferies.
- 2:13Speaker 3: We're in active conversations with Republicans to secure an additional
- 2:18Speaker 3: handful of our Republican colleagues, which is all we will
- 2:23Speaker 3: need to join House Democrats in stopping this reckless war
- 2:28Speaker 3: of choice.
- 2:29Speaker 2: War of choice, war of choice that was. They tried
- 2:31Speaker 2: that about two and a half weeks, this war of choice, Schumer,
- 2:34Speaker 2: everybody was on every Sunday show, this war of choice.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Well they found out a couple of days later it
- 2:39Speaker 2: wasn't working. That didn't mean anything wasn't working with the public.
- 2:43Speaker 2: It's a war of choice. Well, the public's not that stupid.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Every single war we ever fought was a war of choice.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Both Iraq wars we didn't have to go and it
- 2:52Speaker 2: was a war of choice. World War two, it was
- 2:54Speaker 2: a war of choice. We didn't have to go. In fact,
- 2:56Speaker 2: we didn't go in there for a long time. You
- 2:59Speaker 2: could argue Japan, you know, Pearl Harvey, you had it. No,
- 3:03Speaker 2: you didn't have It's a war of choice. I'm trying
- 3:06Speaker 2: to think the only war, well, nine to eleven. It
- 3:10Speaker 2: was a terrible attack, but it was just one day.
- 3:13Speaker 2: Civil War. I guess you had no choice in the
- 3:16Speaker 2: Civil War. Civil War, you had no choice. That was
- 3:18Speaker 2: the only war that wasn't a war of choice, but
- 3:21Speaker 2: he keeps using the same stupid talking point war of choice.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And here's more of Jeff on our return. He always
- 3:31Speaker 2: talks to you know, he looks like a robot when
- 3:34Speaker 2: he talks. And he always goes on these shows, tells
- 3:35Speaker 2: you when they come back, they are gonna combat, and
- 3:38Speaker 2: they're gonna team up with the Republicans and they are
- 3:40Speaker 2: going to do this and that and this, and the
- 3:42Speaker 2: meantime it never gets done.
- 3:43Speaker 3: Upon our return, we will force another vote on the
- 3:48Speaker 3: House floor around the War Powers Resolution that will compel
- 3:54Speaker 3: the Trump administration to cease military hostilities immediately so we
- 4:02Speaker 3: can all focus on the issues that we know matter
- 4:06Speaker 3: to everyday Americans.
- 4:08Speaker 2: He is the greatest gift to Republicans. He is perfect
- 4:12Speaker 2: for a Democratic leader. It's all just talk and he's
- 4:15Speaker 2: so definite about everything. When we come, we will compel definitely,
- 4:22Speaker 2: that's gonna do this and that. And everybody just looks
- 4:25Speaker 2: at him. Okay, good luck with that. Nobody ever listens
- 4:29Speaker 2: to this guy. Nothing he ever says ever actually happens.
- 4:34Speaker 2: But they'll keep putting them on. I'll be on CNN,
- 4:37Speaker 2: he'll be on MSNBC. They'll put this robot on every
- 4:40Speaker 2: watch this Sunday. He'll be on every Sunday show this
- 4:43Speaker 2: robot about They're gonna compel to definitely and and the
- 4:50Speaker 2: Sunday Show anchors will nod like bobbleheads and nothing will happen. Hey,
- 4:54Speaker 2: you want to hear something embarrassing. You know who the
- 4:56Speaker 2: most embarrassing guy in the world is right now, Hunt Biden.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Hunter Biden. You know, his father's the vice president. So
- 5:05Speaker 2: Hunter Biden is pay to play influence pedling. Father is
- 5:12Speaker 2: the vice president. So he goes over there to Ukraine.
- 5:15Speaker 2: He gets on the board of an energy company. He
- 5:17Speaker 2: knows nothing about energies and now guess never had a job.
- 5:20Speaker 2: Suddenly he's on the board of directors of an international
- 5:23Speaker 2: energy company. They give him three million to join the board.
- 5:26Speaker 2: They're giving him whatever was a million a year. He's
- 5:29Speaker 2: making a fortune from that. Other companies are paying him
- 5:32Speaker 2: all sorts of shady people in the Ukraine. They're paying
- 5:34Speaker 2: him tons of money for influence, and he delivered. You
- 5:38Speaker 2: need to deliver. Remember his father was vice president. There
- 5:40Speaker 2: was a prosecutor looking into that energy company. Vice president
- 5:45Speaker 2: Biden admits to this. He admitted to it on video,
- 5:47Speaker 2: he said, yeah, I called the president Ukraine, you fire
- 5:50Speaker 2: that prosecutor and get rid of and he did. Then
- 5:52Speaker 2: his father becomes president and he's making a fortune from
- 5:55Speaker 2: all over the place, getting paid influence pedling. You remember
- 6:00Speaker 2: all those guys that foreign shady companies, and they're all
- 6:04Speaker 2: flying over and he's taking them into the White House
- 6:06Speaker 2: and they're meeting with the president. This guy was making
- 6:08Speaker 2: a fortune, this hunter Biden. And then when that got
- 6:11Speaker 2: exposed and kind of dried up. Remember he started that.
- 6:14Speaker 2: It was clever but a ridiculous scheme where he would
- 6:17Speaker 2: pretend he was a painter. He wasn't, and he was
- 6:20Speaker 2: just big like finger painting like a kindergartener. But he'd
- 6:24Speaker 2: put this crap in a frame and people would pay
- 6:26Speaker 2: five hundred thousand dollars for each one. Here's another picture,
- 6:30Speaker 2: I'll give you two hundred and fifty thousand. Here's seven
- 6:32Speaker 2: hundred thousand for that picture. There were just junk pictures.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But it was a way to buy influence and it worked,
- 6:41Speaker 2: so he made millions. Some people has to make twenty
- 6:44Speaker 2: million selling those junk paintings. Well, after all of this,
- 6:49Speaker 2: and now the father's out of power and Joe Biden
- 6:53Speaker 2: was the worst president ever and the most useless guy ever.
- 6:56Speaker 2: He's a vegetable now he's incoherent. All the big money,
- 7:00Speaker 2: all the donors, all the big Democrats, all the big
- 7:03Speaker 2: money donors have all abandoned Biden thehing. They want nothing
- 7:07Speaker 2: from Joe Biden, want nothing to do with Joe Biden.
- 7:10Speaker 2: He's useless as a result. Hunter can't make any money,
- 7:14Speaker 2: and he's now totally broke. In fact, he's more than broke.
- 7:17Speaker 2: He's like twenty million in debt. But now you're saying,
- 7:20Speaker 2: wait a minute, you just said he made twenty five million.
- 7:22Speaker 2: How come he's just broke because he's a crazy drug addict,
- 7:27Speaker 2: blew all the money on mansions and cars and women
- 7:30Speaker 2: and hookers and all that stuff. He owes fifteen million
- 7:33Speaker 2: to the last group of lawyers for that legal trouble.
- 7:36Speaker 2: There's another lawyer who he owes six point five million too. Yeah,
- 7:43Speaker 2: the Republican Inquiry found that nearly thirty million had been
- 7:48Speaker 2: funneled in through him. But it's all gone. He's blown
- 7:51Speaker 2: all the money. What do you do when you're a
- 7:53Speaker 2: Hunter Biden sleeves ball, dirty guy and you're broke. Well,
- 7:57Speaker 2: he's teamed up with Andrew Culligan, who hosts a YouTube
- 8:03Speaker 2: series Channel five, which is some Slee's ball stupid circus stuff.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Hunter is on there. He's going to be on a
- 8:10Speaker 2: multi city tour with this with Andrew Callagan and they
- 8:14Speaker 2: do they want to do a cage match. He'll be
- 8:16Speaker 2: in a cage match. So he's done the video asking
- 8:20Speaker 2: he wants a cage match between him and Eric Trump
- 8:24Speaker 2: and then him and Donald Trump Junior. Eric Trump is
- 8:29Speaker 2: down there. He's a block away and Trump Tower, running
- 8:32Speaker 2: an international real estate empire, a multi multi, multi billion
- 8:37Speaker 2: dollar empire, building massive skyscrapers all over the world, employing
- 8:43Speaker 2: like thirty thousand people. I think he needs is to
- 8:45Speaker 2: get involved with Hunter Biden in a cage match. If
- 8:49Speaker 2: he does these cage matches, he thinks he'll make a fortune.
- 8:53Speaker 2: Nobody's going to show up for the cage match. He's
- 8:55Speaker 2: been trying for the Trump sons. They're not going to
- 8:58Speaker 2: do it. Watch He'll end up with It'll end up
- 9:01Speaker 2: with Joe Manchin's cousin or something in a cage MATCHCD
- 9:05Speaker 2: to go anywhere. Joe Biden himself has signed up with CAA,
- 9:09Speaker 2: the big talent agency. You know when you're an ex
- 9:12Speaker 2: president like Obama. Obama's made almost a billion dollars. You
- 9:16Speaker 2: get massive deals, fortunes from companies, and business guys will
- 9:22Speaker 2: pay a fortune. Bill Clinton did that for years. You know,
- 9:24Speaker 2: business guy will give you a ten million if you
- 9:26Speaker 2: help him out. He's trying to get a deal over
- 9:28Speaker 2: there in India, but he can't get it done well.
- 9:32Speaker 2: And this has happened a lot. You'll hire a Bill
- 9:34Speaker 2: Clinton to get on the plane with you, fly over
- 9:36Speaker 2: there to India where Clinton is still very friendly with
- 9:39Speaker 2: the Indian president the parliament. He can walk you right
- 9:42Speaker 2: in there and get you your deal. Now, Joe Biden
- 9:45Speaker 2: has no relationship with anybody. He's a vegetable. He's incoherent,
- 9:49Speaker 2: he can't talk, he's useless. So no business guys are
- 9:53Speaker 2: lining up to hand him millions. But he did sign
- 9:56Speaker 2: with the big talent Agency's CIA. The other thing you
- 9:58Speaker 2: can do as an next president fortune speaking. Ex presidents
- 10:01Speaker 2: get two hundred and fifty thousand, three hundred thousand for
- 10:04Speaker 2: a speech. You know you book ten or twenty of
- 10:07Speaker 2: those a year. That's six million a year so far CIA,
- 10:12Speaker 2: and for Biden it's three hundred thousand of speech. The
- 10:15Speaker 2: number of speeches that he's gotten booked. They booked for him. Well,
- 10:19Speaker 2: here it is. The number is, oh zero zero. Nobody
- 10:22Speaker 2: wants him to speak. Who's going to pay a guy
- 10:25Speaker 2: three hundred thousand dollars to get up and bring You're
- 10:27Speaker 2: gonna have to bring five hundred people into a venue
- 10:31Speaker 2: and he's gonna get up there for an hour and go.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Nobody's gonna listen to that. Who wants to hear that? Hey,
- 10:38Speaker 2: good for Donald Trump. He finally told off the nut jobs,
- 10:42Speaker 2: all these wackos out on the fringe, Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly,
- 10:46Speaker 2: Candas Owens, they've all become Alex Jones fringe characters. They
- 10:51Speaker 2: all used to be on TV. They got fired, they
- 10:55Speaker 2: got thrown out. Not only nobody will give him a show,
- 10:57Speaker 2: but nobody will even allow him on as a guest anymore.
- 11:00Speaker 2: So Trump went after him. They So what happens is
- 11:03Speaker 2: if you can't get a job, if you're Tucker Carlson,
- 11:05Speaker 2: you're fired. You can't get a TV show, you can't
- 11:08Speaker 2: even get on as a guest. That's crucial because if
- 11:11Speaker 2: you want, all you can do is do your own
- 11:13Speaker 2: podcast out of your bedroom. Amateur podcasts from home. But
- 11:18Speaker 2: if you could get on Hannity, or if you can
- 11:20Speaker 2: get on Cudlow, or if you could get on Jesse
- 11:22Speaker 2: Waters or something like that, you can promote your podcast.
- 11:24Speaker 2: You'll get plenty of people sign up. But if you
- 11:27Speaker 2: can't get on any show as a guest, how do
- 11:30Speaker 2: you let anybody know you got a podcast? Well you
- 11:33Speaker 2: got to say crazy, outrageous things, so all the fake
- 11:36Speaker 2: news and left wing will pick it up and print it,
- 11:39Speaker 2: and that'll get people to come to your podcast. So
- 11:42Speaker 2: that's why they're all saying crazy nutty things. Tucker Carlson,
- 11:46Speaker 2: Megan Kelly, Canvas owns, they've all become the same thing
- 11:50Speaker 2: as Alex Jones. They're just looking for clicks, just saying
- 11:53Speaker 2: the bashing Trump as click bait to get clicks. Nobody
- 11:58Speaker 2: takes them seriously. Now, the Reason and the Left will
- 12:00Speaker 2: put them on and this is a total lie. They'll
- 12:04Speaker 2: say the magabase is torn and magabase is turned on Trump,
- 12:08Speaker 2: and then they'll quote these Tucker Carlson, Megan Kelly, who
- 12:11Speaker 2: have no connection at all to the magabase. But it's
- 12:15Speaker 2: good for it's good for these people getting clicks, it's
- 12:18Speaker 2: good for the networks making it look like there's trouble
- 12:20Speaker 2: in Trump will. But President Trump yesterday putting out a
- 12:23Speaker 2: long truth social long tweet explaining has nothing to do
- 12:26Speaker 2: with these people. They're all nuts. Here's the there's exact words.
- 12:31Speaker 2: They've all been thrown off television, lost, their shows aren't
- 12:33Speaker 2: even invited on TV anymore because nobody cares about them.
- 12:37Speaker 2: They're nutjobs. Troublemakers will say anything necessary for some free
- 12:42Speaker 2: and cheap publicity, all looking for clicks for their third
- 12:45Speaker 2: rate podcasts. Well said, and it's absolutely true. Taylor Swift,
- 12:51Speaker 2: where's the wedding going to be to Travis Kelsey? Oh,
- 12:54Speaker 2: everybody thought it'd be in Rhode Island, where she has
- 12:56Speaker 2: a big, huge mansion next to what's that called the
- 13:00Speaker 2: Ocean House, one of the most beautiful hotels New England Hotels,
- 13:04Speaker 2: the Ocean House in Rhodein. Nope, it's going to be
- 13:06Speaker 2: in New York. You know, she owns a big house
- 13:09Speaker 2: in New York. She really lives in New York more
- 13:10Speaker 2: than in Burial. So the wedding will be here. It'll
- 13:13Speaker 2: be July fourth, only prom there. You know, it's the
- 13:19Speaker 2: two hundred and fiftieth birthday of America. And there's going
- 13:23Speaker 2: to be massive celebrations in Washington. The biggest events fireworks parties,
- 13:28Speaker 2: So every big name will probably be in Washington that
- 13:30Speaker 2: weekend for all of that stuff. Hey, Artemis, the spacecraft
- 13:35Speaker 2: capsule comes down today in the Pacific. It's five oh
- 13:39Speaker 2: seven pm Pacific time. Now it's actually eight oh seven
- 13:42Speaker 2: our times. It's eight o'clock eight oh seven our time.
- 13:46Speaker 2: This is I'm making a big deal out of this
- 13:49Speaker 2: splashdown because it's so dangerous. It's so risky to re
- 13:54Speaker 2: enter the Earth's orbit. You do it at twenty five
- 13:57Speaker 2: thousand miles an hour, twenty five thousand. You ever go
- 13:59Speaker 2: one hundred in your car? I hope not, but if
- 14:01Speaker 2: you ever did, go, oh my god, a hundred feels
- 14:04Speaker 2: like you're shaking. It feels imagine going twenty five thousand
- 14:08Speaker 2: miles per hour. Imagine the cop I clocked you at
- 14:12Speaker 2: twenty five thousand miles from now. Their survival will depend
- 14:16Speaker 2: on the sixteen foot wide heat shield on the bottom
- 14:20Speaker 2: of the capsule, because the heat shield has to endure
- 14:22Speaker 2: temperatures of five thousand degrees. Now this sounds very dangerous,
- 14:27Speaker 2: but as you go back to the sixties and the seventies,
- 14:30Speaker 2: these capsules were doing that every two weeks. It wasn't
- 14:33Speaker 2: a problem back then. Somehow, now it's a huge problem.
- 14:36Speaker 2: And then they you know, it's the other thing. They
- 14:37Speaker 2: were doing it every week, so they were pretty good
- 14:39Speaker 2: at landing. Remember they would land and with these parachutes
- 14:43Speaker 2: on the capsule and then these flotation devices would shoot
- 14:46Speaker 2: out and then an aircraft carrier had picked them up.
- 14:49Speaker 2: So they haven't done this in years. I don't even
- 14:51Speaker 2: know if they know how to do this anymore.
- 14:53Speaker 4: But.
- 14:55Speaker 2: They got to have those flotation devices and they're gonna
- 14:57Speaker 2: try to scoop them out of the water. Also, they
- 14:59Speaker 2: say this can be serious side effects. After being in space.
- 15:03Speaker 2: You can say, well it was only a week and
- 15:05Speaker 2: a half and people have been in that space station
- 15:07Speaker 2: for months, but there's still side effects. It can be
- 15:10Speaker 2: whiplash when you're landing, extreme nausea from being up there.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Some crew members say they can't even look down without
- 15:18Speaker 2: getting the spins. Other side effects can be for the
- 15:21Speaker 2: immune systems, sleep disturbances, vision issues because the going through
- 15:26Speaker 2: the gravity and out of the gravity and into the
- 15:28Speaker 2: gravity could cause blood to pull in your head. Pretty
- 15:31Speaker 2: serious stuff. Hey, we'll take some calls in a minute.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:38Speaker 2: Eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. If you're
- 15:42Speaker 2: listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save time and
- 15:45Speaker 2: tap the preset button. Now. Now back to the Mark
- 15:49Speaker 2: Simone show on woor Hey, let's take some calls. Eight
- 15:55Speaker 2: hundred three to two one zero seven ten is the number.
- 15:59Speaker 2: Let's go to russ in White Plains Russell, how you doing, Hey?
- 16:03Speaker 4: Mark? Fine? Thanks? You know Mark, I'd like to know
- 16:06Speaker 4: what is Mulany's purpose in resurrecting these questions about how well, As.
- 16:10Speaker 2: We explained before, you can't say, but she was preempting
- 16:14Speaker 2: something that was coming, right.
- 16:16Speaker 4: Do you think it's because Hilary was forced to testify
- 16:18Speaker 4: that Mlania thinks she might have to also.
- 16:20Speaker 2: Well, one of the things she was preempting is they
- 16:22Speaker 2: are going to try to call her to testify. Also,
- 16:24Speaker 2: there's some sleazy stuff coming out that's absolutely false and untrue.
- 16:29Speaker 4: So was But is it stuff like Mlania might have
- 16:32Speaker 4: introduced some of these women to Epstein. Do you think
- 16:34Speaker 4: that's what it is?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Yeah, that kind of stuff it's been There's like this
- 16:37Speaker 2: slimy Michael Wolf guy who made up all kinds of
- 16:40Speaker 2: fake stories about how it was Epstein that introduced them.
- 16:44Speaker 2: None of this is true. So it was Mark. All right,
- 16:47Speaker 2: thanks for calling. Let's go to Randall in Maryland. Randall,
- 16:50Speaker 2: how you doing good?
- 16:52Speaker 1: Mark?
- 16:53Speaker 5: Mark?
- 16:54Speaker 6: Am I the only one that's a little tired of
- 16:56Speaker 6: the Chelsea brothers?
- 16:58Speaker 2: No? I I was never had much use for the
- 17:01Speaker 2: Kelsey brothers. I mean, Travis Kelsey quite the football star.
- 17:04Speaker 2: The brother looks like a totally useless sort of a guy.
- 17:08Speaker 2: The two of them do the worst podcast. I shouldn't
- 17:10Speaker 2: say the worst podcast. There's a lot of people in
- 17:12Speaker 2: New York doing worst podcasts. But it's pretty bad, isn't it.
- 17:15Speaker 6: Did you say about the Masters yesterday?
- 17:17Speaker 4: No?
- 17:18Speaker 2: What happened at the Masters?
- 17:20Speaker 3: No?
- 17:20Speaker 6: He was one of those celebrities chartties with the with
- 17:24Speaker 6: the white overalls on a three course Yeah, I'm yucking
- 17:29Speaker 6: it up, Like all right enough enough, you know.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Well, but what it's he supposed to do? Where would
- 17:34Speaker 2: you expect to see the Kelsey brothers in a library
- 17:37Speaker 2: at the museum. Of course they're going to be doing that.
- 17:39Speaker 2: What else do they got to do? It's like Hunter Biden,
- 17:41Speaker 2: you got nothing else to do all day? Let's go
- 17:43Speaker 2: to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing, Good morning, Mark,
- 17:47Speaker 2: that's Mike.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Until since Singing the Blues was a hit.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Mitchell. Yeah, this terrible judge, the terrible judge in the Bronx. Yep,
- 18:00Speaker 2: your phone is cracking up. This awful judge in the
- 18:03Speaker 2: Bronx who sentenced this cop who did not deserve this
- 18:08Speaker 2: sentence them of three to nine years in prison. This
- 18:09Speaker 2: awful judge in the Bronx, left wing kook of a judge.
- 18:14Speaker 2: His name is Guy Mitchell. So now, if you're over
- 18:18Speaker 2: a certain age, there was a famous singer in the fifties,
- 18:22Speaker 2: Guy Mitchell. He was I didn't really was a little
- 18:24Speaker 2: before my time, but he was sort of a country
- 18:27Speaker 2: and western kind of singer. But he had a couple
- 18:29Speaker 2: of major, major number one hits. One was called Singing
- 18:31Speaker 2: the Blues. But this is a different Guy Mitchell obviously,
- 18:35Speaker 2: and just a horrible, horrible, horrible judge who the same
- 18:40Speaker 2: exact case, same exact charges, was a terrible gang member.
- 18:44Speaker 2: He let him off with a slap on the wrist.
- 18:46Speaker 2: But this cop he comes down on and he said,
- 18:49Speaker 2: maybe it'll send a message to other cops. Yeah, it's
- 18:51Speaker 2: the worst message you could send to other cops, like
- 18:54Speaker 2: stay in the car, don't get out, don't do anything,
- 18:57Speaker 2: don't try to stop the dangerous. It's the worst message
- 19:00Speaker 2: you could send. Let's go to Jerry in Grantwich, Connecticut. Jerry,
- 19:03Speaker 2: how you doing.
- 19:05Speaker 1: I'm doing well, Thank you.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Mark.
- 19:07Speaker 1: It seems assume me that the Democrats are only happy
- 19:10Speaker 1: when they have someone before president that goes and sleep
- 19:14Speaker 1: on the beach, you know, does nothing for the American people,
- 19:17Speaker 1: and they hate the American people. I mean, it's disgusting
- 19:21Speaker 1: what they're doing.
- 19:21Speaker 2: They say, yeah, they have done that before with you mean,
- 19:26Speaker 2: like a Joe Biden type, which is perfect perfect. You
- 19:30Speaker 2: know that happens a lot where you get to you know,
- 19:33Speaker 2: you just need a guy to pretend to be the CEO,
- 19:35Speaker 2: pretend to be the president, you pretend to be the figurehead.
- 19:38Speaker 2: You just go around making speeches, bump into the walls,
- 19:41Speaker 2: and will run the country behind the scenes. Yeah, Democrats
- 19:44Speaker 2: do like that. It's something that's useful for them. Let's
- 19:48Speaker 2: go to Bill in New Jersey. Bill, how you doing good?
- 19:52Speaker 1: Thank you? Mark. Quick question, if by some horrible chance,
- 19:56Speaker 1: our next president is a Democrat, will he be able
- 19:59Speaker 1: to reopened the borders.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Of course, Oh what happened? You got incinerated? Sound like
- 20:07Speaker 2: that laser thing from Star Trek. What happened? But yes,
- 20:10Speaker 2: hey all the phones went dead. Look at that, every
- 20:12Speaker 2: line got cut off. Wast Oh yeah, of course, yeah,
- 20:16Speaker 2: of course they could open the border. Yeah, absolutely, just
- 20:19Speaker 2: remove They did it under Biden. Just tell everybody and
- 20:23Speaker 2: Ice look the other way, don't do anything. Let everybody
- 20:27Speaker 2: in open the Yeah. Absolutely, you know, And that's why
- 20:32Speaker 2: people said, well, that's Trump's fault. He should have built
- 20:34Speaker 2: the wall. Well, he built a lot of wall. He
- 20:36Speaker 2: built like four hundred miles the wall. But even if
- 20:39Speaker 2: you build the wall doesn't matter because first term he
- 20:43Speaker 2: built a lot of wall. And when Biden took off,
- 20:45Speaker 2: his first thing they did was punch holes in the wall,
- 20:49Speaker 2: and people trying to get in blew up the wall
- 20:52Speaker 2: that all and Biden stood by. You can see were
- 20:55Speaker 2: massive sections of the wall where they let it get destroyed.
- 20:58Speaker 2: So yeah, it's a big, big problem. Perfect example of
- 21:04Speaker 2: that is we had crime and it was terrible in
- 21:07Speaker 2: New York, dirty crime everywhere for a million years. Then
- 21:11Speaker 2: Rudy Giuliani comes in and he cleans up the whole city.
- 21:14Speaker 2: It was unbelievable. I remember when he ran, he said
- 21:18Speaker 2: I could bring crime down twenty percent, and he said, what,
- 21:21Speaker 2: you're crazy, can't bring it down twenty percent. Well, he
- 21:23Speaker 2: brought it down eighty percent. Eighty percent, made the safest
- 21:27Speaker 2: big city in America, stayed that way for eight years.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Bloomberg comes in, very smart. He says, I'll keep Ray Kelly.
- 21:36Speaker 2: I'll do exactly what Giuliani did. We'll keep everything in play,
- 21:39Speaker 2: and for another twelve years, perfect safe. Crime is gone.
- 21:44Speaker 2: That's twenty years of crime free. It was perfect. But
- 21:50Speaker 2: you're right, this is what can happen. A Democrat gets elected.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Bill Deblasio comes in. Next, thing you know, crime is back. Squeegee.
- 21:57Speaker 2: Men are back, Homeless people are sleeping all over the street.
- 22:00Speaker 2: So that's the only problem with the When you get
- 22:04Speaker 2: a Juliani, you can get a Democrat next and I'll
- 22:07Speaker 2: just totally let it all go to hell again. So yeah,
- 22:09Speaker 2: when Trump leaves, Luckily, Democrats don't really have a great bench.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Republicans it's a pretty good bench. A lot of people
- 22:16Speaker 2: like jd. Vance, a lot of people love Marco Rubio.
- 22:20Speaker 2: It's a lot of great governors out there, really really
- 22:23Speaker 2: successful governor so it's a strong, strong Republican bench. Hey, yeah,
- 22:27Speaker 2: when we come back, the great comedian Jackie Martling, Jackie
- 22:30Speaker 2: the joke Man. Hey, I'm going to talk about Rodney Dangerfield.
- 22:33Speaker 2: There's a Broadway musical coming based on Rodney and the
- 22:40Speaker 2: fun Rodney that you saw on screen. It was a
- 22:43Speaker 2: different Rodney behind the scenes. Well, we'll get Jackie to
- 22:47Speaker 2: talk about that. Oh, maybe I'll bring up Epstein too.
- 22:49Speaker 2: He knew Epstein. Nothing bad, but you knew that. Anyway,
- 22:52Speaker 2: we'll get to all of that coming up right after
- 22:55Speaker 2: the news. Mark Simone here seven to ten w o R.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Mister New York MARKSIMONR.
- 23:05Speaker 2: Well, Hey, Jackie Martlin, Jackie the joke Man, the great comedian. Hey,
- 23:10Speaker 2: he's going to be at We had a lot of
- 23:11Speaker 2: listeners in Florida. He'll be at Ventorino's in Estero, Florida, Thursday,
- 23:17Speaker 2: April sixteenth, that's next next week. Hey, in May May
- 23:20Speaker 2: twenty third, we got to talk to him about this.
- 23:22Speaker 2: He's going to be at Rodney's. That's the club that
- 23:26Speaker 2: was Dangerfields. It's still there on First Avenue in sixty
- 23:30Speaker 2: first Street. He'll be there with Rich Harkaway. May twenty third,
- 23:35Speaker 2: you can go to his website. Jackie Martlin go to
- 23:37Speaker 2: jokeland dot com. Jackie Martlin, How you doing right?
- 23:41Speaker 5: Doing all right? I'm going The sun is out, Babel
- 23:44Speaker 5: is beautiful, spring is finally here. I'm so excited.
- 23:47Speaker 2: Wow, Bayvielle right on the beach. You can't go in
- 23:49Speaker 2: the water yet though, right, it's too cold.
- 23:50Speaker 5: No, No, I'm not crazy. You know there's people that
- 23:53Speaker 5: go in every day, but they're out of their minds.
- 23:55Speaker 2: You know, Hey, can we talk for a minute about Dangerfields?
- 24:00Speaker 2: That was I love that place.
- 24:02Speaker 5: I you know, I haven't been there. Last time I
- 24:05Speaker 5: was there, I was in the audience with Rodney when
- 24:09Speaker 5: he recorded his first album, No Respect.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and that was a.
- 24:13Speaker 5: Long time ago. And uh and I'm excited the guy
- 24:17Speaker 5: bought it. And it's the same place. And you know,
- 24:20Speaker 5: Rodney's original partner, Tony Bovakua, is still live.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Yeah he lives.
- 24:25Speaker 1: Yeah he lives near.
- 24:26Speaker 5: You years old. Yeah, he lives in Manhasset.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah, Tony Bovaqua, he was a great guy. He was
- 24:31Speaker 2: Rodney's partner. He's the guy that really ran the club.
- 24:33Speaker 2: And then remember Bobby the matre d Bobby Campbell, the Englishman.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Oh yeah, he was so wonderfully rude with that British
- 24:40Speaker 5: accent just made it wonderful.
- 24:42Speaker 2: He was the toughest matre d but with the British
- 24:44Speaker 2: accent he was like a big muscle man. But he
- 24:46Speaker 2: was a great guy.
- 24:47Speaker 5: And I mean he was. He was bursting out of
- 24:49Speaker 5: that suit. You know, you expected that suit to explode.
- 24:53Speaker 5: You know.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about Rodney for a second, because everybody's
- 24:57Speaker 2: watching on YouTube. Rodney, he's so funny and what a
- 25:00Speaker 2: sweet man. The real Rodney was not the Rodney's on stage.
- 25:04Speaker 2: It was quite a.
- 25:05Speaker 1: Competent he was.
- 25:06Speaker 5: He was a really good guy, but he really was
- 25:09Speaker 5: the guy from the stage. He really was, you know,
- 25:11Speaker 5: low and depressed and angry at the world, but not
- 25:15Speaker 5: angry at the people he's with. Just he was like,
- 25:18Speaker 5: you know, you got Delta. When I was with him,
- 25:21Speaker 5: he was like, huh, it's too late. You know, it's
- 25:24Speaker 5: way too late, because he was just starting to get
- 25:26Speaker 5: really big, and they said, Rodney, you're fifty eight years old.
- 25:30Speaker 5: You didn't live another thirty years. What the hell are
- 25:32Speaker 5: you talking about. Oh, it's too late, it's too late,
- 25:34Speaker 5: you know.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Yeah, But behind the scenes, Rodney was quite the wild guy.
- 25:37Speaker 2: There were drugs that were hookers, there was all there's
- 25:39Speaker 2: all kinds of stuff going on with Rodney.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Oh yes, and I will attest to that. And that's
- 25:43Speaker 5: all I'll say.
- 25:44Speaker 2: All right, there's a Broadway musical coming. I don't know
- 25:48Speaker 2: if it's a musical. It's a Broadway show about Rodney.
- 25:51Speaker 2: Allan's White Bell is writing it. Hopefully they will get
- 25:54Speaker 2: into the let's call it the sort of dark side
- 25:57Speaker 2: of Rodney that but overall.
- 25:59Speaker 5: You I had no idea. I got to call Alan.
- 26:01Speaker 5: I'd love to talk to him a boat that.
- 26:03Speaker 4: You know.
- 26:03Speaker 5: The thing is, the really funny stuff about Rodney is
- 26:08Speaker 5: off collar and a little bit lewd.
- 26:10Speaker 2: You know.
- 26:10Speaker 5: The stories we all get together and tell are not
- 26:13Speaker 5: the stories that the Broadway audience wants to hear them.
- 26:15Speaker 5: Maybe they do, who knows, you.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Know, No, they're good, hey, But dager Fields was a
- 26:19Speaker 2: great besides all the you don't have anything like that anymore.
- 26:22Speaker 2: It wasn't just a comedy club. They had singers with
- 26:24Speaker 2: big name singers would appear, They had a trio, a band.
- 26:28Speaker 2: It was elegant. You don't see that anymore, do you.
- 26:30Speaker 5: Yeah, he was all about show business, you know, like
- 26:33Speaker 5: you know, it was like a vaudeville club practically, you know, yeah,
- 26:36Speaker 5: who knows. All right, I'm telling some jokes here. So
- 26:39Speaker 5: a guy comes home from his job at the CIA
- 26:42Speaker 5: and says to his wife and son, come on in
- 26:43Speaker 5: the kitchen, I want to show you what we've been
- 26:45Speaker 5: working on. And they walk in the kitchen and he says,
- 26:48Speaker 5: look at this. This is a lie detector robot. I'm
- 26:51Speaker 5: going to demonstrate. He says to his son, what'd you
- 26:53Speaker 5: do this afternoon? The kid says, I did my homework,
- 26:57Speaker 5: and the lie detector robot slaps the kid. The kids says,
- 27:00Speaker 5: all right, all right, I was it that he's watching
- 27:02Speaker 5: a movie. Father says what kind of movie? Uh? Star Wars,
- 27:07Speaker 5: and the robot slaps the kid again. The kids says,
- 27:11Speaker 5: all right, all right, we watched them porn. Father says porn.
- 27:16Speaker 5: When I was your age, I didn't even know what
- 27:18Speaker 5: porn was. And the robot slaps him, and then the
- 27:22Speaker 5: wife says, right, he's your son, all right, and the
- 27:25Speaker 5: robot slaps the wife. That isla And nowadays they're on
- 27:33Speaker 5: the verge of having robots that do all that stuff.
- 27:36Speaker 5: So it's that joke is going to be back in
- 27:38Speaker 5: the forefront.
- 27:38Speaker 2: You know absolutely, Hey, question number two, Jeffrey Epstein, you
- 27:44Speaker 2: knew the guy, and the reason you knew the guy.
- 27:46Speaker 2: Like a lot of wealthy guys, he was a really
- 27:48Speaker 2: starstruck you know, chasing after any celebrity he could, right.
- 27:51Speaker 2: He loved to hang out with comedians.
- 27:53Speaker 5: I didn't know him. I just know he loved jokes
- 27:55Speaker 5: and he loved comics, and I went and had dinner
- 27:58Speaker 5: with my room a couple of times only on the
- 28:00Speaker 5: strength of jokes and none to do with women. No,
- 28:02Speaker 5: I know, do with celebrity or anything.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Nothing, nothing bad. But he chased after comedians, TV people
- 28:08Speaker 2: just try to get him over for his dinner parties.
- 28:11Speaker 5: You know, every everybody. Everybody wants to be in show business.
- 28:15Speaker 5: I don't have to tell you that.
- 28:16Speaker 2: You know that.
- 28:17Speaker 5: And enough of this. So guys in bed with the girl,
- 28:21Speaker 5: he says, you're flat and you're tight. She says, get
- 28:24Speaker 5: off my back.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Wait on, all right.
- 28:29Speaker 5: So a general general's about to go into battle and
- 28:32Speaker 5: he can't decide well uniform to wear from. One of
- 28:34Speaker 5: his aides says, well, general, whenever Napoleon was about to
- 28:38Speaker 5: go into battle, he'd put on a red uniform. That way,
- 28:41Speaker 5: if he got wounded his men, his men wouldn't be
- 28:44Speaker 5: able to see the blood and they wouldn't panic. And
- 28:46Speaker 5: the general says, very good. Stokowski, get me my brown uniform.
- 28:54Speaker 5: A guy calls home and he says, Honey, honey, I
- 28:57Speaker 5: just won the lottery. Start packing. She says, should I
- 29:00Speaker 5: pack for the beach or it goes skiing? He says,
- 29:04Speaker 5: I don't care where you go, just get out. So
- 29:09Speaker 5: two guys are sitting at a bar when the first
- 29:11Speaker 5: guy pulls down his zipper and starts peeing into a
- 29:14Speaker 5: beer bottle. The second guy says, what are you doing?
- 29:17Speaker 5: He says, this stuff's so good, I'm gonna drink it again.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Tell.
- 29:26Speaker 5: The family is sitting at the dinner table when the
- 29:28Speaker 5: wife says to her father, Pop, Pop, do you want
- 29:32Speaker 5: to be buried or cremated? He says, surprise me. I
- 29:39Speaker 5: love that.
- 29:40Speaker 4: All right.
- 29:40Speaker 5: Here's a bad one.
- 29:41Speaker 2: Mark, those weren't bad. Okay, here's a bad one.
- 29:44Speaker 5: What's the difference between making love to a girl with
- 29:47Speaker 5: arms and making love to a girl without arms?
- 29:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, If you're.
- 29:56Speaker 5: Making love to a girl without arms and it pops out,
- 29:59Speaker 5: you have to put it back Inay.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Wait, this is a family show here.
- 30:05Speaker 5: Nobody could say if you can follow that, you're fine.
- 30:09Speaker 5: So a drunk. A drunk stumbles into confessional. The priest
- 30:12Speaker 5: hears them in, but they doesn't hear anything. So the
- 30:14Speaker 5: priest bangs on the wall. The drunk says, forget it, buddy,
- 30:19Speaker 5: there's no paper in this one either.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Hey, let me ask you a question. A million years
- 30:26Speaker 2: ago you watched Don Rickols. You can make ethnic jokes,
- 30:29Speaker 2: you could make racial joke, you could make dirty Uh.
- 30:32Speaker 2: The world has changed, but not. I mean, you kind
- 30:35Speaker 2: of still do any kind of joke, right, Yeah, you know, but.
- 30:39Speaker 5: I've never been horribly offensive, you know, I total line
- 30:42Speaker 5: and and and stomp it on it a little bit,
- 30:45Speaker 5: you know. But it's if you're not People could tell
- 30:49Speaker 5: when you're being offensive and when you're being mean. If
- 30:52Speaker 5: anybody sees me on stage and thinks being mean, they
- 30:56Speaker 5: have to be out of their minds because all I'm
- 30:58Speaker 5: trying to do is make people laugh. And they know that.
- 31:00Speaker 2: Yeahs used to say that. They could see I'm a
- 31:02Speaker 2: nice guy. They could see I don't mean anything, you.
- 31:06Speaker 5: Know, a little schlump, you know, all right. So a
- 31:09Speaker 5: woman calls dirty Johnny's mother and says, I caught your
- 31:13Speaker 5: son playing doctor and nurse with my eight year old daughter.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Johnny's mother says, well, they're bound to be curious about
- 31:21Speaker 5: sex at their age. The girl's mother says, curious about sex?
- 31:26Speaker 5: He took her appendix out. I don't know, and I
- 31:32Speaker 5: just love this. So a girl is sitting at the
- 31:36Speaker 5: bar drinking next to a blonde and she says to
- 31:39Speaker 5: the blonde, I slept with a Brazilian last night. The
- 31:43Speaker 5: blonde says, who you must be so sore? How many
- 31:48Speaker 5: is the Brazilian? Hey? Hello, the boys at Babelle Seafood,
- 31:55Speaker 5: they are so excited. The whole world is buying shrimp
- 31:58Speaker 5: and fish and Alibi and the lobster Bayvielle just comes alive.
- 32:02Speaker 5: It's almost like when the flowers bloom SODA's babel you know, yeah,
- 32:06Speaker 5: you know.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Begel's a beautiful town that's right on the beach. It's
- 32:09Speaker 2: all beach. It's beautiful. It's right next to what's next
- 32:11Speaker 2: to Locust Valley, and.
- 32:16Speaker 5: It's the place time for good.
- 32:17Speaker 1: You know.
- 32:18Speaker 5: It's so funny because everybody around here that the amount
- 32:21Speaker 5: of money is just frightening. I've been watching the Rupert
- 32:25Speaker 5: Murdoch thing, you know, and he actually bought the house
- 32:28Speaker 5: that my brother's high school girlfriend lived in way back
- 32:31Speaker 5: in high school on Center Island Road. And it was
- 32:34Speaker 5: funny because at the time Rupert Murdoch was married to
- 32:37Speaker 5: this Asian woman named Wendy, and the famous composer that
- 32:44Speaker 5: did the James Bond stuff.
- 32:46Speaker 1: He lived there at the John John Berry.
- 32:49Speaker 5: John Barry, and he was married to a young Asian
- 32:52Speaker 5: and Billy Joel was married to like a twenty two
- 32:54Speaker 5: year old girl. And I knew a guy that used
- 32:56Speaker 5: to clean John Barry's pool, and he said, those three
- 33:00Speaker 5: women would sit around the pool and you know, drink
- 33:02Speaker 5: and laugh. And I would love to be a flyer
- 33:07Speaker 5: in the war for that conversation. You know. You know,
- 33:10Speaker 5: how did you nab your billionaire?
- 33:11Speaker 4: You know?
- 33:13Speaker 2: Uh? Yeah, no, baby, you know else lives in Bayville.
- 33:15Speaker 2: The great songwriter Jimmy Webb lives in Bayville.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, you know. I was just at a studio
- 33:19Speaker 5: the other day. My ex wife is making an album. Uhh,
- 33:22Speaker 5: she actually doing one of my songs. Oh, And the
- 33:25Speaker 5: guy said, oh, Jimmy's coming in tomorrow, you know, Yeah,
- 33:29Speaker 5: he's a local yogal. Everybody loves him, you know, and
- 33:31Speaker 5: he's a real good character.
- 33:33Speaker 2: He's married to Laura Savini, a great PBS host, and
- 33:37Speaker 2: you know, you know.
- 33:38Speaker 5: What, you know you believe this? When I met her,
- 33:41Speaker 5: it was so long ago that Howard and Fred and
- 33:44Speaker 5: Robin and Gary all came to have dinner with me
- 33:48Speaker 5: and Nancy at our house in Bayville, And Gary's date
- 33:52Speaker 5: was Laura Savini?
- 33:53Speaker 2: What a long time ago?
- 33:56Speaker 5: Can you believe that? I said? Were whoa? Just the
- 33:59Speaker 5: common name of it being Laura and Howard actually coming
- 34:02Speaker 5: to Baybill to my house for dinner. You know, it
