- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: You're listening to Mile High Insiders.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: Christmas has come early for Broncos Country.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we're Denver Broncos sit at 11 in two.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: They're counting for one seed in the AFC conference.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: They are controlling the AFC West, and they are the first team.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: Thomas Hall, to clinch a playoff birth.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome in.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome in.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: We have got green check marks across the board.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Wednesday night, he's Thomas Hall, I'm Luke Patterson, Tom, how we feel in the Broncos and the Packers, what a game.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and it was one of those games where, you know, they were, they weren't playing a team that everyone can be like, oh, well, that's just a bad team and you whipped up on them.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_02]: It was a good team.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_02]: It was a team that was in the running for the number one seed, with along with many other teams at NFC with a good defense and a good offense,
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: and to go ahead and beat them and play the way they did, that was a good, it was a good statement, and that's why you're getting all this buzz now about the power rankings or which I think are worthless, but they got them higher, you got bone next now, you can talk about in the MVP race.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it was a good win.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_02]: It was a signature win on the season for sure.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: Well, the Kansas City Chiefs are officially knocked out, right?
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: They cannot make the playoffs, Patrick, my homes, underwent ACL surgery on Monday, I believe.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: So he's out.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at a gardener, minshu led, Kansas City Chief team that's floundering.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: You're looking at the Las Vegas Raiders who are going nowhere fast, but we still have to keep an eye.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: on the Los Angeles Chargers.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_00]: It was a crazy week 15.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, the Broncos picking up that 34-26 win.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of storylines coming out of that game that are going to affect not only the postseason, but specifically this Sunday, Jacksonville Jagguires.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: What are we talking about?
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the injury report.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody wants to know what's going on in the defensive backfield with Brandon Jones.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: It's going on in the offensive backfield with RJ Harvey.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to let everybody know what's going on with your Broncos starters as we prep you for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but before we do, let's say what's up to our very first member of Broncos country in the show tonight, Jordan Lewis 7.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: I love it.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of 7,
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: Some spilled tea right I heard some rumors out there that the new L.A. documentary is absolutely amazing.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: It comes out this Monday I know Jordan Lewis will be watching it over on Netflix.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_00]: Good evening, Broncos country.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like RJ Harvey is good to go Jordan, a mile high salute and Merry Christmas to you.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for coming on in the show.
- 2:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, RJ Harvey Tom.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: I left the game early late in the fourth quarter with a apparent rib injury.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: We were all kind of holding our breath, thinking first JK Dobbins.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now RJ Harvey, give me some good news on Quadzilla.
- 3:03[SPEAKER_00]: We need something.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just like he said, it looks like he's good to go.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: So there was a bunch of full participants down the board that only they're only two that weren't.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: So I think I think he's good to go.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm I'm actually more worried about the Brandon Jones injury than I am than I was about the RJ Harvey injury.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: I know that the running back core has been depleted.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: But I think Brandon Jones is very important aspect to that defense and people are people don't understand his importance because it's a low key.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_00]: Brandon Jones, we bring up his name.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like once every two weeks on this show because we're like, man, you get distracted with Talino who found out who's a madman in the backfield, right?
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: He could show up and stuff the run.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: He can obviously bring something in the past defense.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: What do you make of Talino who found real quick?
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm specifically asking about the Packers game.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you saw it, Tom.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know social media is crazy these days, but
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: uh... bunch of packers fans are out there clamoring for talino who fun go to get suspended you kind of pushed off a jordan love when getting off of them on the sideline doesn't appear to be a dirty player to me if anything i see him helping guys up during games who are usually the opposition i know if you saw this play he's obviously not gonna be suspended it's wins day December seventeen something would have happened by now uh... what do you make it the notion at least from
- 4:33[SPEAKER_00]: love dirty.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_02]: Well, when you lose you, uh, like to lash out about everything, you know, so, you know, it's, it's one of those things where they got to pick something to lash out about and there was a few things that they could and that was one of them.
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: Who fun guys not, I mean, he's out there playing with his hair on fire, so to speak, but he has not been a dirty player.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_02]: He's not doing anything dirty, pushing off on somebody whoopty do.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's, yeah.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I see many injuries where they kind of push up as they're getting off of them in the, you know, on the ground.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_02]: It's, it's a, it's a nothing thing.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: But like I said, the Packers fans are hurting.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_02]: They thought it was going to be an easy win for them.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: They got spanked and they're all upset about it.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_00]: I was talking all kinds of smack on ESPN Sioux Falls last Friday, right, Packers Country up there.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, I'm telling you, this team is for real.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: And when you look at what happened to Jordan Love, it's not just me.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos Country knows, the NFL started to take note now to 15 hits on Jordan Love, multiple turnovers, multiple sacks, this defense is home and watch out, Trevor Lawrence,
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking about watching out looking at our guy David David coming in here exclusive member of the MHH community Mary Christmas David and Mary Christmas Broncos country 14 and three Tom talked to me about the Broncos 11 and two record As you're looking at hosting the Jacksonville Jaguires on Sunday you've got a Christmas date with the Kansas City chiefs in arrowhead
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: No Patrick Bahomes.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_00]: What's going on with Travis Kelsey?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: And then the finale against the Los Angeles Chargers could that be the Flex game right that determines the AFC West.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: I hope not the Broncos have a chance to take it this week.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Walk me through it.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: What needs to happen for the Broncos, the lockup, the AFC West, the potential number one AFC spot this Sunday.
- 6:23[SPEAKER_02]: Well, first of all, they're 12 and two, not 11 and two.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_02]: They're 12 and two, too.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_02]: Well, and I'll say this right now, that is that is tied for the best record through 14 games in Broncos history.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_02]: So that 1988, they were our 1990, they were 13 and 1, which is, you know, one game better, but otherwise there's only two other teams that were 12 wins in 14 games.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_02]: So you've got to give them their props for that for sure.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: That's an amazing accomplishment for this team, regardless of what their schedule was, or anything like that, amazing accomplishment.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, they could lock up
- 6:59[SPEAKER_02]: the AFC West easily if they win and the charges lose.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty much it's a done deal this weekend.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_02]: I prefer I thought you also had to have a Patriots loss and a Bill's loss or tie.
- 7:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm talking about the division.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_02]: The AFC West, they win.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: Chargers lose.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's a done deal to lock up the number one seed and this is why it's important to lock up the number one seed.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_02]: I went back and I looked
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: So in the AFC, the number one seed has made it to the Super Bowl, 60% of the time, since they changed over to the seven, I'm sorry.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, 60% of the time, since they changed over to the new format with the seven teams going in.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_02]: NFC is not quite that high, but also the number one seed has only, there's only been three teams since that works, who are one and done.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_02]: So the Broncos,
- 7:52[SPEAKER_02]: you know statistically speaking should have an easy path to at least a FC championship game one win in their end.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_02]: So that's why it's important.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_02]: or that them to get the number one seed.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_02]: And why it was so easy, so to speak for Kansas City to have that run of getting to the AFC Championship.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_02]: And they were always almost always the number one seed and they had to win one game, almost all every time.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: So it makes it a heck of a lot easier.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the number one.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_02]: So now to get the number one seed this weekend, which I don't know if they will, because a lot of things have to happen.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously they have to win.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_02]: Patriots have to lose and I think a couple other teams kind of have to lose in order to solidify it but I don't want them to I want them to be fighting kind of down to the wire not maybe not the last game but I don't want them to like think the last two games are a cake walk and not have to worry about it and then you know be kind of not into it for three weeks four weeks before they actually play a meaningful game
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: The nice thing that Broncos Country has going for and I should say the exceptional thing undefeated at home.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: The only team that's undefeated at home, I mean, talking about my high magic, it's there.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: It's in Denver, Colorado right now, it's all across Broncos Country.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: There's something special about that.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: You're right, Tom.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: This is consecutive home games for the Broncos.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're welcoming a Jacksonville Jaguyer's team to Denver this Sunday.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: There's seven in all of this year in Denver, Colorado.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: their unsatisfied and that means that means something to me.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: They do not look content with where they're at.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_00]: They look like they're fomin' at the mouth and just checking things off the big board, man.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I absolutely love it.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: I think that
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: you listen to the players you listen to Sean Payton after the game you watch some of the penalties.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was so loud there that Sean's spitting into the microphone that we're having problems with the play calling and by the way, Sean, can we clean that up on the first series Tom?
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's got to drive you nuts too.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: You could see both saying, get me the play.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I wish you would curse and would be able to catch the F in order on there too.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure, but it's driving me nuts, man, that this Broncos team,
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're starting better, but some of these little things, the play calling, what not?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's driving me nuts, Tom, and I'm having a hard time getting over it.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, I mean, that's the thing that can come back to hunt you if you're not.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_02]: If you're making penalties or you're not in it mentally, you can have a talented team which they are, but if you're not doing all of the things right when you're in the playoffs, that's a formula for a loss, an unexpected loss, just like back in 1996, probably the
- 10:27[SPEAKER_02]: one of the best teams that the Broncos have fielded that didn't make it to the Super Bowl for sure.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: You know, they just weren't in it mentally and the jags came in back and, you know, came in and beat him.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: And so you can't take anything for granted.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_02]: You have to be on.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: in the playoffs.
- 10:43[SPEAKER_02]: It's a one game deal.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_02]: You got to make sure you're there mentally.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_02]: So for me, you're saying those things that and that's what worries me is that they've got to make sure that mental game is there because they have the defensive talent to make it.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_02]: Their offense is starting to click.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's a couple injuries that worry me, but otherwise they're relatively healthy.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: There should be a good run in the playoffs if they get that mental side of it.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_02]: solidified they don't commit these dumb errors and they should be able to to make some noise in the playoffs for sure.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and listen, it was just last week that the Broncos made history as the first home underdog amid a 10 game win streak plus at home and 10 game win streak in general.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: Something tells me the Broncos will not be an underdog this Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars and guys speaking of underdogs football season.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_00]: Well, some full swing underdog is the best place to get in on all the action.
- 11:40[SPEAKER_00]: Are you ready to get off the bench and into the game?
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: Well, just head on over to Underdog, whether you're into basketball, football, hockey, or any sport in between, Underdog is the best place to get in on all the action, all season long.

- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: Boom Broncos country he is Thomas Hall.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Luke Patterson Scott Kennedy rocking with us always on the ones and twos and we are prepping you for the Broncos and the Jacksonville Jaguar still getting over some Packers left over as if you will.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: But what a fun time to be a member of Broncos country right now man.
- 13:27[SPEAKER_00]: I cannot wait.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: 12 and two your Denver Broncos the Jacksonville Jaguars as you know Tom have a little bit of history with the Denver Broncos.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping that the Broncos are overlooking the jags.
- 13:38[SPEAKER_00]: I've got my keys to victory coming out tomorrow at mile high huddle.com.
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: I took a little bit of a dive into Jacksonville as we always do on this show and Jacksonville's feeling themselves right now, Tom.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: They are.
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: They had a career day, who are they?
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, I'm talking about the star quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Travis E. T. N. Five passing touchdowns for Trevor Lawrence, one rushing touchdowns, six total touchdowns.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'll be it against the jets.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: Tom in Florida home Jacksonville game Travis ETN three receptions three receiving touchdowns not a lot of rushing yards.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: They whipped up on the jets.
- 14:17[SPEAKER_00]: What do you make of this Jacksonville Jaguar's team?
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: I see improvements, but I see tons of vulnerabilities.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville needs to realize that they will not be playing the jets this Sunday and they damn sure will not be playing in Florida.
- 14:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and one thing that people don't talk about is that they have a pretty solid defense.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_02]: It's not as dynamic.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: I wouldn't say as the Broncos when it comes to the past Russian, things like that.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_02]: But they've got a solid defense.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, if you look at this on paper, they're pretty similar to the Broncos.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: They're productive enough on offense.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a really solid defense.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: Again, I think like the Green Bay Packer game, what I said, it comes.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to come down to special teams and turnovers.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: If the Broncos can beat the Jaguars in the turnover margin, they should be able to win this game.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Now, if the Jacksonville Jaguars who have taken more, taken more takeaways in the Broncos, the Broncos need to get more.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_02]: They're at the bottom of the NFL.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_02]: If they get more, then they probably can come away with a win.
- 15:19[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's definitely comes down to turnovers in this game because they're pretty evenly matched.
- 15:24[SPEAKER_02]: Even though I think the Broncos offense is starting to peak at the right time, more so than maybe the Jacksonville Jaguars, offenses.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're right about the Jags defense, you know, they've got the number one defense against the run, only allowing 86 yards per game.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take you through it at milehunter.com tomorrow, a very formidable defense.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: And when you look at the Broncos offense, you know, we have to remember I bring it up on the show every week Denver used to have a top 10 rushing offense for a third of the season and all the sudden Sean goes away from it all the sudden JK Dobbins gets hurt RJ Harvey what's it look like with that rib injury well the good news is despite RJ Harvey leaving the Packers game late in the fourth quarter
- 16:07[SPEAKER_00]: He was on the entry report as expected today, but he was a full participant with a rib.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: All right, and these rookies don't need rest days.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Now I have anything to rest about.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Payton had him out there, said your rib is fine.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_00]: Put on a rib protector and don't fumble anymore.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: That's what happened today at practice.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: Trust me on it.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: But no, Tom, you alluded to this earlier.
- 16:26[SPEAKER_00]: The practice report looks pretty good for the Denver Broncos when you go through it.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_00]: Of course, RJ Harvey was a full participant with ribs, Pat Bryant, full participant, hamstring, Mike McGlantzhee's dealing with a next thing, practice in full Marvin Mim's junior, biceps, full, Korean breed, inside linebacker, hamstring, full, luke, Wattenberg.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: ankle, full, and bend powers, right?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: Last Wednesday, we talked about the 21 day practice window opening for big bend powers with those biceps injuries.
- 16:55[SPEAKER_00]: He was limited.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_00]: You're only Bronco that did not practice just in Cernad.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: You cannot ask for a better injury report despite Brandon Jones going on IR.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to gloss over that Tom and we'll get into it.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: But as we sit here, Wednesday, December 17th, Happy Birthday, Mom.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_00]: The Denver Broncos look healthy and that is something to be grateful for.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, absolutely.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, and really even if you look at their injury reserve, they're still relatively healthy.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_02]: A couple starters on it, but I mean, they're getting one back and been powers.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'd like to see him start to be more than a limited participant.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_02]: I think they need to get him into this game, hopefully this weekend.
- 17:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's better player than Pelchewski, even though Pelchewski's, you know, my guy.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_02]: I think they need to get him worked back in.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's looking good, but again, the Brandon Jones injury, I think is more impactful than people are making it out to be.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and let's get into it, formula salty thunder, very active in the chat tonight.
- 18:05[SPEAKER_00]: Love the handle, by the way, Merry Christmas and Go Broncos.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_00]: Justin Simmons, maybe?
- 18:10[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think so.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: Not because I'm saying no, but because Sean Payton's kind of doubling down on PJ Lock, you could read about it over at myhoihello.com.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think Chad's got an article up, or Zach, right now as we speak.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_00]: Checking it out a little bit earlier today.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's easy for the fan base to just loves Justin right come on Justin come on board I don't think they're going that way PJ lock.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_00]: We have to remember had a lot of back injuries And I'll take you through it my article my keys to victory.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: I got you covered About Brandon Jones and what it means for the secondary.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_00]: It'll come out tomorrow on my hi-hello dot com the thing about it is
- 18:43[SPEAKER_00]: P.J.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Lock, Bands Joseph Trustsham, John Payton's riding with him.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's been a special team.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to call Ace, but a contributor.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_00]: He stepped in the fourth quarter, played quite well.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's no secret Tom that you and I aren't the biggest P.J.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_00]: Lock fans in the world.
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: But you can bet your bottom dollar.
- 19:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to be chair and form out the what a number nine right.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm be chair and for number nine.
- 19:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to have a number nine jersey on Sunday, but tell a Noah who fun, uh, Riley Moss, Passerton, PJ Lock.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_00]: This Broncos defense has proven before there are a pack of wolves wolf pack mentality, whether it's attacking their opponent or taking care of their own.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's a downgraded without I'm not trying to disrespect PJ Lock, but it is a downgraded from Brandon Jones.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not trying to get us all hot.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_02]: He sucks.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not done yet.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not done yet because Brandon Jones has played exceptional.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_02]: He is one of the best reagent pickups in the last two years.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_02]: Brandon Jones, nobody really talks about him.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: He goes out there and does a tremendous job.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: But.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_02]: PJ Locke was a starter last year.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: He knows the defense.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_02]: They are going to be opaque with him, but it is not he's not Brendan Jones.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_02]: So it does it wears me a little bit.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_02]: However, I do like PJ Locke stepping in because he knows the defense.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's trusted.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to ruin the continuity.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to bring Justin Simmons in.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: I'm sorry.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_02]: There's a reason why they let Justin Simmons go two reasons.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_02]: Actually number one, he was getting older and he's he is not as good as he
- 20:17[SPEAKER_02]: And all these, he's never had a winning season as a starter.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_02]: The reason why they purged all that losing mentality, Justin Simmons being one of them, was to get a winning mentality in the building.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_02]: You're not going to bring him back.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see them bringing him back.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_02]: Sorry Justin Simmons, a good guy.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: He just has never known a winning season.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_02]: In his entire starting career, you don't want to bring that back into the building.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_02]: Whether you like Justin Simmons or not, they got rid of him for that reason.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, no, and that's just it, and you know, where does Sean Payton come from?
- 20:48[SPEAKER_00]: The big tuna bill parcels.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't a bill parcels.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: He once said, you got to come in and burn the building down.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_00]: You got to get rid of the carpet.
- 20:55[SPEAKER_00]: You got to change the paint on the wall.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_00]: You got to get rid of everything.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's what Sean Payton did.
- 20:59[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he's done a lot.
- 21:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's doing quite a bit with not that much.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: When you come in and you look at what he's done, Scott's funny man, Scott's coming in here and making me laugh and Justin Simmons has made a good living, but he's not getting any of this cash this season.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: And guys, speaking of cash, it's the holiday season and the holidays are all about finding the perfect gift, but this time of year and not every deal is actually what it seems.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_00]: Scammers, well, they're getting more creative to trick people and sharing their payment info through methods like fake shopping sites and giveaways that are too good to be true.

- 22:46[SPEAKER_00]: Boom, boom, boom, Broncos country.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's Wednesday, night.
- 22:50[SPEAKER_00]: He's Tom Sall, I'm Luke Patterson.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: We're taking you through it here on MHI, where you can catch us every Wednesday at 6 p.m. Mountain.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it was like I David getting in here and getting after you.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: I absolutely love it.
- 23:00[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't let this go.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_00]: Thomas, you can't blame Justin Simmons because the Broncos didn't have a winning season with him.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_00]: And David, I absolutely love this comment.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: And here's the thing, man.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos Country is the best fan base in all the NFL.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: They are extremely loyal and sometimes just a little bit too loyal if there is such a thing.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's not to say that Justin Simmons David didn't do good things as a Bronco won't ever have his place in Broncos history.
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: He will be beloved among Broncos Country, I think, for the rest of his days.
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: Why wouldn't he be?
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: Unless he came a raider or, you know, a chief or a charge
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: And even then we forgive, we remember Chris Harris Jr. going to LA, right?
- 23:39[SPEAKER_00]: We tried not to, but we still remember we claim him as one of our own.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think Thomas' point, and I would love to just piggyback off of it for a little bit.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_00]: Sooner or later, you just need to start over.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: And you gotta have fresh guys in.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: sometimes there are casualties to that.
- 23:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I know you see Brandon McMahon is still out there kicking.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I know we see Matt Prater still out there kicking.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_00]: But I ask you Broncos, Concerning, you have to absolutely have either of those two kickers just because they hold a special place in your heart or Broncos history.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't need it.
- 24:12[SPEAKER_00]: I let go of my Trevor Simeon love long ago, Tom, because there were bigger and better things on the horizon like
- 24:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I have nothing against Justin Simmons.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: In fact, in my top 100, Broncos of all time, he made it and he was in, I think, in the 70s if I remember correctly.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_02]: So I like Justin Simmons as a player, but again, the whole concept that the thing that I like about Sean Payton and you know I have disagreements with him,
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: he changed the culture of this franchise because it was losing and that's all it knew and it took some hard decisions in order to do that and one of them was getting rid of Justin Simmons.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: Now, could he have stayed and possibly been part of this turnaround?
- 24:57[SPEAKER_02]: Sure.
- 24:58[SPEAKER_02]: But he was aging, he wasn't the player he was.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_02]: And it was time to actually cut bait.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_02]: You don't want to bring him back in when you don't actually need to.
- 25:08[SPEAKER_02]: PJ Lock can do the job just as good or better than Justin Simmons can right now in my mind because he's been in the defense.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_02]: He's younger, he's healthier, he's, you know, he's ready, ready to go.
- 25:21[SPEAKER_02]: We're Justin Simmons hasn't played all year because he's not, nobody really wants it.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_02]: They've seen his diminished skills.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it just, it just, it's strange to me that everyone's pining for Justin Simmons as a, and I think it has to do more that they loved him as a player when he was here and was playing well.
- 25:39[SPEAKER_02]: They just, and they can't see that, okay, well, there was a reason why he was let go.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and here's the thing, I was thinking about this last night in Formula coming back in and Chase, I see you, too.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, I'm not for Vaughn coming back.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: We had depth there.
- 25:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's just it, right?
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like Vaughn Miller, a couple of weeks ago, a few weeks ago, it said into the microphone when the Broncos were playing Washington.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I picked up, I called George Payton.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, yo, is there a spot for me?
- 26:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want to be a part of this team and it's kind of like, well, thanks, but no thanks.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and that's okay.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't take away Vaughn Miller and anything that he accomplished 10 years ago with the Denver Broncos, right?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_00]: If, and I'm going to put a big if on this because I don't want to jinx anything, if the Broncos accomplish their ultimate goal this season, and we have an idea of what that is.
- 26:26[SPEAKER_00]: If they do that, it will be the first championship.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_00]: without a shanahan, a kubiak, an elway.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, like not anyone connected truly to old Broncos garden history.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: It'd be with a new squad, and that's unfamiliar to us, right?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: We're used to the reunion tours here in Denver.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: But something special is happening.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_00]: We're building something new.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I think instead of having a natural resistance, folks should just hop on the bandwagon and let's have some fun.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_00]: Get your orange and blue one.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: This is gonna be a really special ride in the rest of December.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: And I hate to say ride because Russell Wilson gave me PTSD with the whole let's ride thing.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm still upset about it.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_00]: But Tom, that's just, it's crazy to see, you mentioned it earlier, how quickly things can change.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and like I said earlier, it's a special season already.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're already tied for the second best record after 14 games in the history.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_02]: There's two other teams that they're tied with, 1996, which was, you know, like I said, probably one of the best teams that didn't make it to the Super Bowl and the Orange Crush defense, 1977, which that was, they had 14 games.
- 27:44[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that was the best they could do, only 14 games in the season.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_02]: Um, and they shot, uh, thank you for I feel like some people hate me for some of my opinions, but whatever, I appreciate the love.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you're pretty horrible, Tom.
- 27:59[SPEAKER_00]: You really are.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: You told me you and the rest of the world you were out on Sean Payton weeks ago, and that's been bothering me, and if you'd like to apologize, you certainly can.
- 28:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure Sean would love it, but uh, you're not keeping him up at night.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_00]: And that's the thing, man.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is sports.
- 28:14[SPEAKER_00]: We're supposed to be able to disagree.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: I miss some things all the time and it's fun to poke fun to yourselves and holy cow Man Chris her madness.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's been a minute Chris Merry Christmas to you and yours an exclusive member of the MHH community with a very generous and I mean generous Merry Christmas happy holiday super chat of $200
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: Happy holidays, fellas, and go Broncos.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_00]: Hashtag, click those little thumbs up.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: Orange and blue, Chris, it's so good to see you, man.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much for all the generous support.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: Merry Christmas to you and yours, and as always, thank you for your service.
- 29:00[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, thank you so much.
- 29:02[SPEAKER_02]: I, this is the, I've never seen that happen before.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I really appreciate that.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much for the support.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you have a wonderful Christmas season and happy new year.
- 29:13[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much and throw a question in there.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_02]: We'll get to it.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_02]: Even if it's an old school question, we, I love to talk old school.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_02]: So jump in there with something.
- 29:21[SPEAKER_00]: And even if you want to make fun of Tom for hating on Justin Simmons, we can do that and continue to go, but it's funny and Tom, we have to remind some folks because Some folks need to go listen to legends.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_00]: We've had Justin Simmons on these airwaves.
- 29:33[SPEAKER_00]: You've spoken to him.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_00]: I've spoken to him.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: We've done it.
- 29:35[SPEAKER_00]: I've done interviews with him in training camp.
- 29:37[SPEAKER_00]: You've done interviews with him on legends.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's it's fun to be able to be
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: in a position now with Broncos country, where we're like, oh, a starter goes to IR, Brandon Jones, who's next, PJ Locke.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: Now, could there be better guys in our opinion?
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe is it the end of the world?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: No, PJ Locke is a good player.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's a starter last season and he's healthy.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't have those back injuries anymore.
- 30:02[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to take you through it, guys tomorrow.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_00]: Over at malhahala.com, I got you covered.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_00]: I know I know.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to miss Brandon Jones.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, the Broncos truly dodged a huge bullet in the terms of RJ Harvey's health when you look at the practice report.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's what Broncos countries wonder and about the offensive backfield.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_00]: Running back rib injury, Quadzilla Tommy was a full participant today.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_00]: I was shocked.
- 30:29[SPEAKER_00]: I thought he would be listed as questionable.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_00]: Most of the week, maybe even a game time decision.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_02]: Well, yeah, I mean, they need him badly because that what's behind him is not very good in my opinion.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: So, I mean, RJ Harvey, once JK Dobbins went down, it was the, it was RJ Harvey needing to step up big time because I like McLaughlin.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm okay.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Luke warm on Bade.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_02]: but they're not they're not a back that can carry the load for you.
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: RJ Harvey is the only guy that they have right now that can carry the load.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_02]: I know they brought in somebody from this to the practice squad and we'll see how that goes.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_02]: But it's RJ Harvey's show.
- 31:13[SPEAKER_02]: So him going down and if he was going to miss extended time that would have been tough to overcome on the running game for sure.
- 31:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'll take you through the running back committee tomorrow too.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to have to be in all hands on deck approach from the back field because you don't want to wear out your rookie either.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: What happens if RJ Harvey goes down.
- 31:33[SPEAKER_00]: Well, we were just wondering that the last couple of days and then all of a sudden we get the news on the Monday that he was a full participant doesn't mean that he should be on a pitch count, but it also doesn't mean he should be recklessly used the whole time either.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_00]: I'm with you Tom Tyler, but day,
- 31:47[SPEAKER_00]: Jelil McLaughlin, they don't do a lot for me, and the Broncos did sign a former Jacksonville Jaguar running back, a former Houston Texans running back, L.A. Charger running back, right?
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: They just signed this new cat, you can read about it over at myhotel.com.
- 32:02[SPEAKER_00]: I will take you through it tomorrow, but Chad's got a piece up right now.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think you're going to see some reps from Jelil.
- 32:07[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Jelil is the only other Bronco not named Quadzilla that has one touchdown and Tyler Rade doesn't.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler Rade has played in one additional game, but not bringing a lot to the party.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_00]: Then again, you look at Michael Bandie last week, Tom.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: Lil Jordan, Humphrey.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, all of the sudden, these unsuspecting targets in the passing game are going to help bonus earn a weekly award, which we're about to get into in just a little bit.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if we can find unlikely players to tote the rock and get into the end zone on the passing game, can't we do it running the football?
- 32:44[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's hope because they need to and that's the nicest thing about this is the chemistry of this team allows for that to happen.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_02]: So to speak, I mean, Bandy is not some of that you expect to be the primary target on a past play, but he was.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he was the guy the Bona X seemed like he was going to him no matter what.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_02]: And he got a touchdown pass.
- 33:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's the chemistry that has been built on this team.
- 33:10[SPEAKER_02]: It's like they don't care who it is.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_02]: There's no egos.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_02]: It's we're going to go out there and win.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I know that I've given John Peyton a lot of crap, but I've never given him any crap about how he's built this team and how he's changed the culture because he has.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_02]: and I given that given props on that every time I talk about it.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_02]: So that that was Sean Payton's doing.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_02]: They brought in the right people and those players have taken that to a much higher degree.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm all for it.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_02]: I just, you know, I just worry that you lose somebody.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_02]: The talent is.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_02]: It's a downgraded talent that it's just that's just the way it is.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_02]: There's no other way.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_00]: When play calling is already went away from the run with RJ Harvey, all of a sudden that's going to increase with either biday and to live with it.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't seem likely.
- 33:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's what you're getting at.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: Especially when you look at it objectively, right?
- 34:00[SPEAKER_00]: We try to do that on this show as much as we can without me being too hungry because I get hungry.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then I get upset and then I start yelling at Tom on the microphone.
- 34:08[SPEAKER_00]: Dave and y'all can come in in a 499 generous super chat.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_00]: of the MHH community, always active on Wednesday, my, it's man, and always tuning in.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Payton has turned this franchise around in three years, only one losing season.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: I say, coach of the year.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know, I try not to put too much stock into these awards, right?
- 34:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then the Broncos win them, and I'm falling all over myself, right?
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: It's, I don't wanna, I don't wanna end up getting hurt.
- 34:37[SPEAKER_00]: In case the Broncos don't get any love, but this is something I hadn't considered.
- 34:43[SPEAKER_00]: For coach of the year.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a formidable candidate when you're the first team to enter the playoffs your team is 12 and 2 you're on what an 11-game win streak you're undefeated at home more fourth quarter comebacks than anybody need I say more David's on to something
- 35:01[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he should be in the running.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he should be in the top three of voting if it were my ballot.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, he has earned it because, I mean, the point reason he hasn't been talked about, even though the record has been good is because there's been that air of oil.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: They haven't played anybody great.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: And then, you know, the offense wasn't really clicking and he's the play color.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_02]: So I think earlier in the year, they were kind of dismissing him.
- 35:25[SPEAKER_02]: But now that,
- 35:26[SPEAKER_02]: They can't dismiss him.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they're beating everybody right now.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_02]: And the offense has gotten so much better over the last few games.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of, it's one of those things where you can't ignore him anymore.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_02]: You can't make excuses for him not being in the running because he's got this team, like I said, the second best.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_02]: record after 14 games in franchise history.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_02]: So you've got, I mean, he has to be up there somewhere.
- 35:51[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure they'll give it to somebody else because they don't like John Payton, but he's in the right.
- 35:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Mike variables going to be up there, right?
- 35:59[SPEAKER_00]: You look as Sean McVay, they're probably going to be up there.
- 36:02[SPEAKER_00]: Um, typical names when you look at it, but look, the awards are starting to stack up.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_00]: These kind of MVP conversations with Bonyx, starting to get there, Bonyx.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: This, for his last performance against Green Bay was just named the FedEx airing ground player the week, four touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers 300 and two yards passing a completion rate of 67.6% Wow, what can you say about Bonyx against the Packers?
- 36:31[SPEAKER_00]: just tell people, in my opinion, timing is everything in the NFL, not just with plays, but peaking.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Broncos are starting to peek, at least the offense at the right time.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: The defense has been there all season and they're not going anywhere.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: I will stand by the fact that I think this is a wolf fact mentality with this Broncos defense and it truly is next man up.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_00]: they have each other's back and I don't think you're going to see a huge drop off between Brandon Jones and PJ Lock.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now, maybe more opportunities for interceptions, right?
- 37:03[SPEAKER_00]: Tom, you talked about it.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's humming over Riley Moss and Pastor Tan, both getting interceptions against Jordan Love as they should be.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at where the Broncos tent, as you've mentioned Tom with turnovers, it's bad.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_00]: With interceptions, it's even worse.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: The second worst interception rate, the Denver Broncos, things have to change.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_00]: And David
- 37:23[SPEAKER_00]: Coming right back around man another 499.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you very very generous Merry Christmas.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_00]: Sean won't win coach of the year because the league and Thomas don't like him.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_02]: I just got done saying he should be in the running.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I have my differences with them, but I can't I'm not going to deny his ability to to turn this franchise around and get him winning.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: But I do want to go back to I want to go back to Bonax one.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_02]: We just thought we just kind of like glossed over his his award this week fed FedEx air ground player of the week this was his best performance in a Broncos uniform.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_02]: Now I know that, you know, you can go back and look at the Kansas City Chiefs games last year, the Falcons game, where you know, on paper, they look better, the Chiefs, that was the second stringers and the Falcons were absolutely terrible on defense.
- 38:13[SPEAKER_02]: This was his solid defense in the Packers and he sliced them up, he was hitting the deep ball.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_02]: This, this to me was his best game.
- 38:22[SPEAKER_02]: in a Broncos uniform, which means to me that it's either, uh, whoa, just one flash in the pan, or he's starting to put it all together, and we'll see, we'll see the next, these next few weeks are good teams.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the chiefs are, but there's a couple of good teams in there that we'll see what he's made up.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and listen, Chief defense is still good to him as you know, arrowheads, a tough place to play.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos haven't won that, right?
- 38:47[SPEAKER_00]: Came close last year.
- 38:48[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to make fun of Luke Waddenburg anymore.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_00]: I've forgiven him.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to move on Alex Forsyth, the same thing.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_00]: But no, another thing to do with Bonax and it, like you said, we kind of go over it.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: Zero Sacks last week, because a lot of the Sacks Botakes is usually on him, not so much this offensive line.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_00]: At least this year.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: right like sometimes both hanging on hanging on and the thing I hate worse more than anything in the world is when the quarterback gives his back to the line of scrimmage.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_00]: I can't stand it.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_00]: Now, sometimes you get these outstanding plays that bow makes Josh Allen-Mate Lamar Jackson right used to be Joe Borough.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_00]: Don't know what's going on with that guy.
- 39:24[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's just crazy.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_00]: to see the athleticism from Beau.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I think we're finally seeing Beau have some fun.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't it feel like Beau Nick, some of his little, his personalities coming out just a little bit last week, right?
- 39:36[SPEAKER_00]: They're asking him in the microphone.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, how does it feel to be the home underdog?
- 39:39[SPEAKER_00]: Well, my mom thinks we're going to win.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's all the matters.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_00]: Mom and Nick's, right?
- 39:43[SPEAKER_00]: And mom and Nick's called it and Beau gets to stamp that approval on it.
- 39:47[SPEAKER_00]: You also get to hear Bo at least in terms of it looks like he's celebrating with his guys a little bit more it looks like he's still pushing Sean Peyton and Sean still pushing him.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: But I think when you see a quarterback that's starting to become more comfortable in his role as a leader the rest of the team picks up on that and I think the defense trusts.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and you know, it wasn't that long ago where they were the offense offensive players were saying yeah we've we know the defense is kind of carried us we've got to get better You could see you could hear it in their voices the defense wasn't saying it, but you could hear the offensive players knowing that they had to carry their load and it seems like everybody's starting to do that like the offense is carrying their load special teams of his
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: a lot better than they had in the past.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, if you think about it all three of these units are really starting to play their best ball.
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: Well, the defense, like you said, been playing great ball and let's hope that they didn't peak early, that they're still playing their best ball in the playoffs.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_02]: But
- 40:56[SPEAKER_02]: you know, you've got to have all three phases.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_02]: I know that people say defense wins championships, which isn't true.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_02]: It can an occasion, but you need to have a complimentary offense and special teams to really have that winning team.
- 41:11[SPEAKER_02]: So I'm looking forward to the next three games.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think I think
- 41:16[SPEAKER_02]: they have a chance to be special.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, they really do.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_02]: They have a chance at 15 wins, which has never happened in the history of the Bronx franchise.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: 15 wins.
- 41:26[SPEAKER_02]: They have a chance at it.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_02]: So it's going to be interesting.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_00]: Once it starts this week, this Sunday, as the Broncos host the Jacksonville Jaguars, this is the second consecutive home game in a row for Denver,
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a lot of fun.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: I believe it's beautiful weather in the mile-high city for this one too.
- 41:42[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a little windy, so we'll have to see how that pans out.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: But let's go behind enemy lines.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_00]: As Keith Ways in over on Facebook, I am so ready for this week.
- 41:52[SPEAKER_00]: Go Broncos from DuVol.
- 41:56[SPEAKER_00]: Can't wait to talk my smack in Jacksonville.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_00]: That's right, Keith.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: Wrap that orange and get after them in Jacksonville.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, man, it's cool how each fan base has their own thing and I'm not trying to be mean to jacks fans.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really not, but the whole go do, I don't get it.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I, it does nothing for me.
- 42:15[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it's a, it's quite literally as a Jacksonville thing, but I have no idea what it is.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get what that means, yeah, go get Keith, raise some health, wear that orange and get after it.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_00]: It should be a fun matchup.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's going to be a blow out by any means.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes I'm hoping for the blow out and just for a third time this season, it would be nice.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos haven't had a lot of those just two off the top of my head, but that's another aspect of this team too.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Payton talked about and I at least wanted to ask you Tom.
- 42:47[SPEAKER_00]: You know, when you get a Jacksonville Jagwire team that is coming into Denver, Colorado with a five game win streak, they have a lot to play for too.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a one game lead in the AFC South over the Houston Texans and Denver's two and one this season against the AFC South.
- 43:03[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, they lost to the Indianapolis cults who by the way have slid the third place Tom in the AFC South Philip Rivers,
- 43:16[SPEAKER_00]: What do you make of this jack's team?
- 43:18[SPEAKER_00]: They got to be feeling pretty good coming in here on a five game win streak.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_00]: But when I hear Sean Payton spit into the microphone last Sunday, saying, we're comfortable in uncomfortable situations.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: I had no idea which team was winning at half because it was that close.
- 43:32[SPEAKER_00]: I knew it was about two or three points.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's a me showed Broncos know that they're in a fight, and they're not getting caught staring at the scoreboard.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_00]: It means nothing to them until the fourth quarter.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and I'll just say, I think the Jaguars are need to be worried about the Houston Texans because they, the Houston Texans have a chance to overtake them and actually be pretty solid in the playoffs from my mind.
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: So Jacksonville needs this win and they know it because if they falter at all, the Texans are going to bump them out of that division lead.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that they, I think the Jacksonville Jaguars know that they're going to come
- 44:15[SPEAKER_02]: a great game to in order to come out and win this thing and I think they're I don't think they're looking past anything on the schedule but this this is the game for them.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_02]: You know if they can if they can come in and beat the Broncos that's that's going to be a huge kind of yeah that's our this is our we can do this moment but you know it's I'm not counting on them doing it I'm the Broncos are a good team and they're a good team at home so I
- 44:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Broncos are going to beat them.
- 44:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Broncos are going to win the next two.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and the Broncos want to get this done, and they want to put the nail in this coffin, so to speak, in terms of the game for the Jaguars.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_00]: Because then it's a short week.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_00]: They've got to fly out to Arrowhead.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_00]: Get that done on Christmas, right?
- 44:58[SPEAKER_00]: And then you're looking at a finale at home against the Chargers.
- 45:02[SPEAKER_00]: What's that going to look like?
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: Hard to say.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_00]: Wanted to say Merry Christmas to Mike, Runkio, an exclusive member of the MHH community, and good friend of the show is always supporting us.
- 45:11[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, and he weighs in saying, guys, I won the household as the Denver Broncos beating my twin brother Matthew his NFL team is the Green Bay Packers Mike.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_00]: I had no idea you're a twin man that's super awesome.
- 45:24[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, please rub it in Matthew's face even more in case he forgot Tom, I wanted to ask you about this and Mike, you can ask Matthew.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't know if you knew this, but Bo Nixon's the reason Mike a Parsons blew out his ACL.
- 45:39[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I heard that.
- 45:40[SPEAKER_02]: I heard that, uh, yeah, that a certain sport of caster, who for some reason absolutely hates the Denver Broncos was a more on in general.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: Blamey.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_02]: Well, isn't he the guy that came to Denver and almost died because the, uh, the altitude in the.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's the, uh, kind of thing.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I feel like we're talking about Voldermort right now.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and we just don't want to get me love because we're immature.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you, you got it.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, it was uh, it's pathetic.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know what, maybe I'm not as popular some of these other uh, sportscasters out there, but I'm not going to do say something that stupid.
- 46:18[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I got to say, I'm not going to be that stupid.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Just fuck it.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_02]: I will say this though, this is I've been waiting all show to say this and I'm going to say it right now.
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: The Broncos are going to walk into Kansas City in on Christmas and beat the pants off of them.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_02]: I think the Kansas City chiefs are given up.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: You can tell they're done.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_02]: Mooms is out.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_02]: Kelsey's ready to retire.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're done.
- 46:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think that they're ready to pack their bags.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_02]: I think they're going to walk through them pretty easily in Kansas City, which will wrap up the number one seed.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_02]: And they probably won't, they'll probably lose the Charter's game because they probably won't play their starters the whole game.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_00]: Well, and listen, the Kansas City Chief's defense will be excellent preparation for the Broncos in the postseason as well, right, because they're formidable threat.
- 47:04[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, you're thinking that the Denver defense is going to get after gardener mentioned as they should, but I want to see him get after Trevor Lawrence first.
- 47:11[SPEAKER_00]: I've never been a Trevor Lawrence guy.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: full disclosure, never really bought into the hype at Clemson.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_00]: Same with Travis, ETA, and I just it is what it is.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: They're nice enough players for me, but I don't see enough the trust Trevor Lawrence.
- 47:25[SPEAKER_00]: And he's going to turn over free.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think in two or three of the last games, and it helps with their five game win streak.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_00]: The whole line is kept in my upright for the last couple weeks.
- 47:36[SPEAKER_00]: I believe too.
- 47:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take you through that tomorrow and MHH.com.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't trust him.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's turned over prone.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: He makes silly decisions all the time.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to need a lot more than Travis ETN.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_00]: And you know, I'm bombed.
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to see Travis Hunter.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, right?
- 47:50[SPEAKER_00]: That was supposed to be kind of his big return to Denver.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_00]: At least that's what I said in training camp when the schedule came out.
- 47:55[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, Oh, it'll be cool to have Travis come home.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about any of that.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: I will see my guy Andrew win guard.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's a special team Jason defensive captain out of University of Wyoming.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_00]: He'll be in the defensive backfield for the jacks.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like watching him play a lot, got to scout him up at UW, but no man the Broncos need to they need to take care of this thing and I know you're ready to move on to Kansas City I think mentally I am too, but I think I'm so locked into this jack seem because these games are so close Tom every single week that Broncos cannot make it easy on us But ultimately, it's helped them.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: It's helped their character and I think that they're gonna understand what it feels like if they
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: happen to be down a score or two scores at home.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to understand what it feels like to have to come back in the second half or God forbid the fourth quarter.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_00]: These are teaching moments, these are surviving moments, and these are winning moments that other teams just don't have namely the New England Patriots.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_00]: I watched that game.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_00]: I watched the whole thing, Patriots and bills, and to watch the Patriots just give up like that.
- 49:01[SPEAKER_00]: It felt a lot to me, like the 20, 24 season with the Broncos where you could tell they were getting close, but I've said this whole year of Tom New England is one year away from more Denver is now.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I totally agree.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_02]: I totally agree with everything you said.
- 49:15[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not looking forward, you know, I just wanted to get that plug in because I can't say the cheese.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm glad that I'm glad that they're out of the play.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_02]: I saw any, but no, I mean, I think what you said, the Broncos have
- 49:29[SPEAKER_02]: Their sack numbers have started to kind of slow down it.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_02]: They were on pace to blow the record out now.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_02]: They probably aren't going to, they could.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_02]: They still have a chance to take that second, but I'll tell that they're still getting after the quarterback.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: They are still getting tons of quarterback hits.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_02]: They're getting tons of pressure on the quarterback and that is where I see Trevor Lawrence start making the mistakes right.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: When he's got a clean pocket, yeah, he can throw the ball like anybody, but when they he starts getting hit and harassed, that's where you're going to see some turnover.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I think the Broncos, if they can force him into a couple bad situations, then they're going to win this game pretty easily.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're exactly right.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Tom 58, total sacks and 13 games played.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: And then when I went back and looked at it for my article of the moral, you know, it was pretty interesting.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_00]: The wealth has been shared and it's been generated on that Broncos defense 16 players on the roster with at least half a sack man.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, they come at you in waves.
- 50:27[SPEAKER_00]: I see Broncos country in here in the comments.
- 50:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not just going to let it go.
- 50:38[SPEAKER_00]: your guy, Wuzurika.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the depth on this defense has been awesome.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: And Alex Singleton, I gotta say, I'm respect in this play more and more each week.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_00]: Drake Greenlaw, I wanted to be mad at Drake Greenlaw last week, Tom, because I thought he was starting the fights.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: before the the Packers game and maybe he was right hard to hard to say but it's seen to me I don't know if you got to see it but it seemed to me when CBS reviewed the footage right and they're trying to get you all ready and hype for Broncos Verse Packers right as soon as the clock hits and it's time for the game Alex Singleton was warming up
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: with another linebacker.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_00]: And it looked like a packer just kind of ran through them.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: And it's childish stuff that happens in high school, happens in college, right?
- 51:20[SPEAKER_00]: Guys want to see what they're going to get away with.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: Alex Singleton gives a little shove.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then it's like out of nowhere.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_00]: Drain Greenlaw.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: It's like he was Batman.
- 51:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's all the bat signal up in the air that said fight.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: a drag green lock comes from nowhere and it just wants to take on the whole team it made me a little mad because I want some of that maturity you don't see a ton of those bonehead mistakes at least we have it lately but I'm just hoping drag green lock can can clean it up a little bit when it comes to the extra curriculars because he's been a good player not great but a good player he's an attitude no peace for advanced Joseph.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I remember you saying you wanted a defensive player with some dog in them.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_02]: Some, a keep to leave.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_02]: And now you're like, well, wait a minute.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_02]: Now we got a dog who's going to go out there and start throwing punches.
- 52:05[SPEAKER_02]: And you're like, well, maybe you should cool it down a little bit.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_02]: You can't have it both ways, man.
- 52:11[SPEAKER_02]: But no, you're absolutely right.
- 52:12[SPEAKER_02]: No bone head mistakes.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_02]: You can't have those dumb mistakes.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_02]: Go out there and be aggressive on the field.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_02]: Go out there and protect your folks on the field.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_02]: But don't do something dumb that's going to cost you something like a suspension going after a referee, you know, comes to mind, something like that, you know, you've got to you've got to play smarter or be smarter.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_02]: But go out there and let your play do the talking and go out there and be aggressive.
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: If you get a
- 52:36[SPEAKER_02]: You know, if you get a little over aggressive, I'm not going to fault you for it, but, you know, do it on the field, not before the game starts.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_00]: You're exactly right Tom, I was clamoring for Dre.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_00]: I knew we were getting some attitude and now I'm asking him to not be himself.
- 52:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's just I don't know though.
- 52:55[SPEAKER_00]: Can you blame me though Tom?
- 52:56[SPEAKER_00]: Can you blame Dre when Sean Payton's out there colliding with referees when he's out there running or storming the field?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_00]: Um, you know, you take on the image and the personality of your head coach.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad we have Dre Green.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_00]: I don't get me wrong.
- 53:08[SPEAKER_00]: But for me, Drake Greenland, Ebony and Grim will be forever linked with this free agent additions, right?
- 53:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then just like JK Dobbins and Talonoma who fungi are linked for the better.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm still, Drake Greenland's out there and he's producing Ebony and Grim.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: It's like, I'll see you once every six games.
- 53:24[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know if that means we'll see him right before the playoff start.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if we're gonna try to warm up with him a little bit, but you know, you're seeing a lot more out of,
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: The Adam Prentices of the world makes you wonder what Nate Atkins future is going to be return and I mean it's just it's so underwhelming because that's such a huge piece as you know Tom of a quarterback's development and winning football games take advantage of those lineback or something the Broncos aren't doing but you still see other teams trying to do that to them in this Denver defense.
- 53:57[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe, just maybe, Ingram is going to get a fire load under him for the playoffs and be a playoff start.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_02]: When we keep our fingers crossed, that Ingram is going to show up eventually at the perfect time, which is the playoff.
- 54:10[SPEAKER_02]: And, you know, come alive and that's going to be the offensive superstar.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see.
- 54:15[SPEAKER_02]: But you're absolutely right.
- 54:17[SPEAKER_02]: Ingram has not.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_02]: been what we thought or even close to what we thought he was going to be.
- 54:24[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, I had there was people out there like saying he's going to have a hundred catches and I was like, no, no, good season for him is going to be 60 at best with maybe 700 yards.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_02]: And he's not even scratching that even even if he wasn't injured, he wouldn't be scratching that.
- 54:37[SPEAKER_02]: So he needs to step up.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_02]: There's a few players on offense that's still need to step up.
- 54:42[SPEAKER_02]: Ingrams, one of them, somebody in the backfield has to step up and hope in its RJ Harvey.
- 54:47[SPEAKER_02]: I've liked what I've seen out of him.
- 54:48[SPEAKER_02]: But he needs to be a little bit better than he's been for sure.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_02]: So there needs, there is some work that needs to happen on the offense.
- 54:55[SPEAKER_02]: And hopefully that is, you know, everything that we've seen up to now is starting to kind of lead to that into the playoffs.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't know, man.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like the Broncos titan room is haunted.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_00]: We're haunted.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's the only possible explanation for it, Tom.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: Julius Thomas, the last great Broncos receiving titan that I can think of.
- 55:17[SPEAKER_00]: And the guy's what, working in clinical psychology now, that's how long it's been.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: Julius Thomas has had time to win the, you know, be a part of Super Bowl 50, get out of foot, play for other teams, get out of football, go back to school, and now be working in clinical psychology.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's been he wasn't even a part Super Bowl 50.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_02]: He was gone from he was injectable before Super Bowl 50.
- 55:42[SPEAKER_00]: He left everything.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_00]: They had longer they had a hundred odd of like Vernon Davis and Owen Daniels had the Ravens the Ravens old tight end Gary Coupiax old guy that Owen Daniels Owen Daniels
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so they did not have a great tight-end room and super well, they did their offense wasn't even very good.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_02]: So it was all the defense that won that championship.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_02]: That's the, you know, a few times where the defense has drug-etterrible offense to the championship.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_02]: That was one of them.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're right, and Mike, the rock went and letting us know it was a good thing.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: Pat Bryant was back at practice today.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Pat Bryant in the injury report, listed with that hamstring, but was a full, you look at the RJ Harvey news of the day, full participant with those ribs.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_00]: The only member of the Broncos that did not practice was Justin Sternad inside line bagger with a foot.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_00]: You compare that to what the jags are dealing with.
- 56:37[SPEAKER_00]: This is kind of the weekly trend here in Denver, right?
- 56:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the injury report looks pretty good for Denver and usually pretty poor for the opponent.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_00]: They have three guys on on two defensive ends and one running back, not practice for the jags.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_00]: So pretty clean injury report.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_00]: If you're
- 56:55[SPEAKER_00]: Remember, Broncos Country, you're obviously still frustrated and worried about Brandon Jones going to IR on Monday, but you did dodge a little bit of a bullet with the rib injury with RJ Harvey.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: It makes me feel good.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'll take you through it tomorrow at milehighlevel.com.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_00]: We are up against it, guys.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_00]: Final couple of minutes.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_00]: Get those predictions in.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: Is the Broncos welcome?
- 57:15[SPEAKER_00]: The Jacksonville Jaguires in Tommy talked about it earlier.
- 57:18[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to just gloss over this either.
- 57:20[SPEAKER_00]: The homefield advantage and what it means.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_00]: Man, if the Broncos can continue to win and get this number AF, number one AFC slot handled and in the bag, it's gonna be intimidating for an opponent to come back into Denver, Colorado.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: Assuming they weren't here once before, right?
- 57:38[SPEAKER_00]: And have a little bit of a taste of what it's like knowing that you're coming into the 5280, knowing that you're coming into Broncos Country possibly more than likely very cold, nasty weather.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, man.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_00]: I signed me up for that.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_00]: I want the Broncos to continue not only their win streak, but go undefeated at home and have that little bit of doubt that creeps into their opponent when they come here in the postseason.
- 58:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, like I said, you know, it is a easy path to the Super Bowl versus anything else because they've changed this to the seven teams.
- 58:15[SPEAKER_02]: They have to win two games to get the Super Bowl.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_02]: Everyone else, and that's the thing is you have these other teams.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_02]: They play once you never know about the injuries.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_02]: You don't know what happens.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_02]: They could be completely banged up going into a game.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_02]: They're having that number one seed is a gigantic advantage.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know, this is the longest home win streak in a very long time.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_02]: The longest obviously was from 96 through 98, where they won three seasons in a row every game at home.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_02]: But except for the playoffs in 96.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_02]: But this is what happened there.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_02]: What happened there?
- 58:53[SPEAKER_02]: A lost over it.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_02]: What happened in 96, Tom?
- 58:56[SPEAKER_02]: they got they got bumped from the plough certainly by the jags surprised because they because they read they had it in the bag they rested their starters they weren't prepared which is why keep saying I hope it goes kind of goes down to the wire so they don't get the rest until they get the vibe.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_00]: now I'm at momentum, momentum.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you will.
