- 0:09Speaker 1: Advice, Sugar Spice, it's time.
- 0:14Speaker 2: And Level Lo welcome to the Naughty but I show
- 0:17Speaker 2: I'm your House from Shooter and it is Wednesday, which
- 0:20Speaker 2: means our dear friend Donny Meecham joins us, Hey, Donnie
- 0:24Speaker 2: are you there?
- 0:25Speaker 3: Hello?
- 0:25Speaker 1: And Level Level Oh, it's Wednesday, Wednesday Wednesday.
- 0:30Speaker 3: So funny thing. Ye one thing.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Anybody should do when they're listening to the podcast check
- 0:38Speaker 4: the speed, oh back, speed of the pocket, because you
- 0:44Speaker 4: know sometimes on the pocket it can change and somebody's like,
- 0:47Speaker 4: what Danny up on my party and he's sounded crazy.
- 0:51Speaker 3: And they kind of find out the speed is just oh.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Oh, well, you see. Though I saw a few of
- 0:59Speaker 2: those comments too, I've got to say I only get
- 1:04Speaker 2: them on Wednesday shows. And I think it's because you
- 1:07Speaker 2: and I together talk very fast, so fast, like when
- 1:11Speaker 2: we go drinking together. When you lived in New York,
- 1:14Speaker 2: we didn't read ninety miles and we didn't talk to
- 1:18Speaker 2: each other. We talked at each other for like two
- 1:21Speaker 2: hours and then we went to bed. And I've had
- 1:22Speaker 2: a fabulous night to shouting all night and you shouted
- 1:25Speaker 2: at me and we went to bed. So I'm going
- 1:27Speaker 2: to try today to make sure that you have a
- 1:31Speaker 2: chance to speak, and I'm not going to speak quite
- 1:34Speaker 2: as good. You get me excited, Donny, That's what it is.
- 1:37Speaker 2: You get me excited. And we love a good gossip
- 1:41Speaker 2: and we love it fast. Today we're going to be
- 1:43Speaker 2: at an adult professional speech. Okay, what time is it?
- 1:47Speaker 2: My friends? It is big story. At the top of
- 1:51Speaker 2: the show, Jennifer Aniston is being accused of being used
- 1:56Speaker 2: as bait to sell her boyfriend's books. Let me explain.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Jen is appearing at the ninety second Street Why with
- 2:04Speaker 2: her boyfriend Jim Curtis for a book event. He has
- 2:08Speaker 2: a book. I think it's out right now or it's
- 2:11Speaker 2: coming out in a few days. Jen has agreed to
- 2:14Speaker 2: host a night at the Why. Tickets are a one
- 2:17Speaker 2: hundred dollars, but you do get a free book with that. Now.
- 2:22Speaker 2: Insiders are telling me that this feels like a shakedown,
- 2:26Speaker 2: that ninety nine of that one hundred dollars is really
- 2:30Speaker 2: about seeing Jen and maybe one dollar gim Like, it's
- 2:35Speaker 2: just so interesting to me. How often should you ever
- 2:41Speaker 2: harness the power of your significant other if you are
- 2:46Speaker 2: dating somebody who is successful in whatever field. Very few
- 2:49Speaker 2: of us will ever date somebody as powerful as Jen.
- 2:52Speaker 2: But we all have our power in our own little world.
- 2:56Speaker 2: How do you feel a bad I don't want to
- 2:59Speaker 2: say you using them, but enjoying their success.
- 3:05Speaker 1: What do you think, Tommy, every chance you get, every
- 3:09Speaker 1: cheerce you good?
- 3:16Speaker 3: That would be on my business card.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Jenn, who are you?
- 3:27Speaker 2: Doesn't matter? Do you think? Because initially his friends were
- 3:31Speaker 2: saying he loves Jen and that they're so spiritually connected,
- 3:35Speaker 2: he'd never use a There was concern when they first
- 3:38Speaker 2: got together that he was with Jen for the wrong reasons,
- 3:42Speaker 2: which is she's rich and famous. She's also beautiful and smart.
- 3:45Speaker 2: So there's a lot of good reasons to be with Jen.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But let's not be let's not be silly. The money
- 3:50Speaker 2: helps marrying a rich person. Dating a rich person is
- 3:54Speaker 2: just as difficult as stating a poor person. So like,
- 3:57Speaker 2: I'd rather rather have have the the ridge. But would
- 4:02Speaker 2: I ask her to turn up at a host a
- 4:06Speaker 2: book event for me? I don't know if I would. Recently,
- 4:10Speaker 2: did you know, Donnie, I have a book out? Did
- 4:12Speaker 2: I mention that I.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Don't think I've ever heard you talk about it?
- 4:16Speaker 2: Well, let me talk about it right now. So it's
- 4:18Speaker 2: called it started with a whisper. Have you bought one yet?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Because my old book is on your bookcase. I've seen it.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I don't see the new one there yet. You book
- 4:27Speaker 2: Thank you very much, very which is actually available right now,
- 4:30Speaker 2: but I'm not reading it. However, forecasts back to Jen,
- 4:37Speaker 2: I had a book party and I did hardess the
- 4:40Speaker 2: power of my friend's Elvis de Ran and Rosanna Scotto
- 4:44Speaker 2: to host the party. Then it's close to Jennifer. It
- 4:51Speaker 2: is someone that's more famous than yourself. That's the point
- 4:54Speaker 2: I'm trying to make here is that how often should
- 4:58Speaker 2: we know a few famous I don't call in that
- 5:02Speaker 2: many favors, do you think? And this is where it
- 5:05Speaker 2: gets so interesting. A source close to Jen, I've spoke
- 5:08Speaker 2: to this person for years. They said, Jen's not being used,
- 5:12Speaker 2: She's not bait. She suggested it that could be true.
- 5:17Speaker 2: She said to Jim, why don't I throw you a
- 5:19Speaker 2: book event in New York. We can sell tickets. If
- 5:22Speaker 2: we sell a thousand tickets, we're going to sell a
- 5:24Speaker 2: thousand books because for that hundred dollars you get a
- 5:28Speaker 2: book included. It's own new way of selling books, like
- 5:30Speaker 2: a trick, isn't it? If you pay twenty dollars to
- 5:32Speaker 2: come and have a drink with Rob Shooter. You get
- 5:34Speaker 2: my book for free, and I count that as a sale.
- 5:37Speaker 2: So this book not doing quite as well as they
- 5:40Speaker 2: thought it would, but not doing terribly. But bringing her
- 5:44Speaker 2: into the picture is bringing in a cannon. It is
- 5:48Speaker 2: a hose pipe of celebrity, a hose pipe of power
- 5:52Speaker 2: which brings us through our pole. Question of the day,
- 5:54Speaker 2: Curtis is going to be using Jennifer as bait, some
- 5:57Speaker 2: people say, to sell his new book. It's one hundred
- 6:02Speaker 2: dollars a ticket to see Jen and Jim. But let's
- 6:05Speaker 2: be honest, we're going to see Jen. You get a
- 6:08Speaker 2: free book. Is this smart which I think Donnie thinks
- 6:12Speaker 2: or is it sketchy which you think I might think. Okay,
- 6:16Speaker 2: go vote on our Twitter ex page. I had naughty
- 6:20Speaker 2: nice rab Facebook page is naughty gossip And be sure
- 6:25Speaker 2: to check that tomorrow to hear your results. Hey, Donnie,
- 6:29Speaker 2: what are you working on?
- 6:31Speaker 1: Oh, mister Adam Levine, So maroon Adam Levine. So you
- 6:38Speaker 1: know there was that whole sexting scandle that he has,
- 6:42Speaker 1: but you know what he's really come around, had a
- 6:45Speaker 1: whole reckoning and saved his marriage to Bahati Prince Law.
- 6:52Speaker 1: So that's there been twelve years of marriage, and you know,
- 6:56Speaker 1: although he's still living with the fallout from it, because
- 6:58Speaker 1: that never really goes away. There's always going to be
- 7:01Speaker 1: about when you're mad because he didn't pick up his clothes,
- 7:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna get your clothes over there, and remember when
- 7:06Speaker 1: you were sexing those ladies. But she forgave him because
- 7:11Speaker 1: she genuinely loves him, and he, as you know, reportedly
- 7:14Speaker 1: worked very hard on putting his family first, putting his ego.
- 7:20Speaker 3: To the side. I think it also helps as you
- 7:23Speaker 3: get older and as.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You start to learn that, you know, Maroon five isn't you.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Know, the biggest you know right there, and you're not
- 7:35Speaker 3: on the voice anymore as much, right you start to
- 7:39Speaker 3: do okay, cool. But here's the thing. So I interviewed
- 7:42Speaker 3: Adam I think maybe three months ago. Genuinely lovely guy.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Free, that's so too good. I have a friend who
- 7:51Speaker 2: works on the voice who said he was the most difficult.
- 7:56Speaker 2: They said he was always the last to set. He
- 7:58Speaker 2: always was the one that was complaining. I can't read
- 8:00Speaker 2: my teleprompter. I need this change. It's too hard. It's
- 8:03Speaker 2: too cold. They said Adam was a little bit of
- 8:05Speaker 2: a diva, but maybe he's changed after this sexting scandal.
- 8:09Speaker 2: He nearly lost his family, he nearly lost his wife.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Goal she's the one that decided to give him another chance,
- 8:16Speaker 2: and it is nice to see that he's taken that
- 8:19Speaker 2: very seriously. It's not taking it for granted. Often these people,
- 8:22Speaker 2: these fools that are court cheating, doing something awful, They
- 8:26Speaker 2: get away with it and they do it again. I
- 8:28Speaker 2: think getting court is maybe the best thing that ever
- 8:30Speaker 2: happened to Adam because now he has had to reassess.
- 8:34Speaker 2: He's had to really think about the priorities in his life,
- 8:37Speaker 2: who he loves, what is important. These lifestyles of rich
- 8:41Speaker 2: and famous people, it all looks beautiful to outsiders, but
- 8:44Speaker 2: when you live that life it can be very lonely.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Fame and money is nice, but you're still sitting in
- 8:51Speaker 2: your clothes in your apartment. It might be nicer clothes,
- 8:54Speaker 2: it might be a nicer apartment, but it's still you
- 8:56Speaker 2: are still a human being. You go to the bathroom,
- 8:59Speaker 2: you eat, you get low like people are the success
- 9:02Speaker 2: to life, not money. Don't get me wrong. You need
- 9:05Speaker 2: money to pay your bills. I am not saying that
- 9:07Speaker 2: you can just survive on love. You can't. You need both.
- 9:11Speaker 2: Adam has had to really think about this. And it's
- 9:14Speaker 2: nice to hear Donnie that you did interview him just
- 9:16Speaker 2: weeks ago and he was a really nice place. I
- 9:19Speaker 2: think he's a very attractive man. I don't like the tattoos.
- 9:23Speaker 2: What do you think you love a tattoo?
- 9:24Speaker 3: I do? Oh, and person very attractive.
- 9:30Speaker 2: Very attractive, very sharp appeal, he does. I've met him
- 9:35Speaker 2: and he was like sparkling. He was like a champagne.
- 9:38Speaker 3: He was bubbly.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I get it. I do get it. And this is
- 9:41Speaker 2: nice to hear that he learned the thank goodness. And
- 9:47Speaker 2: I hope you didn't sex. I'm more worried about you
- 9:49Speaker 2: than him. Okay, moving forward, Lady Gagar has dropped another
- 9:53Speaker 2: big hint about her wedding. So her manager, her longtime manager,
- 9:56Speaker 2: a real nice guy, Bobby Campbell, got married. She was
- 10:00Speaker 2: at the wedding. I do like this. It's the opposite
- 10:02Speaker 2: of a Taylor Swift wedding. Daga just sat there. She
- 10:04Speaker 2: didn't sing, she didn't do vow, she didn't get up
- 10:08Speaker 2: at the officiate the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding.
- 10:12Speaker 2: I told it was in Los Angeles. She didn't take
- 10:14Speaker 2: that microphone, however, she was telling people that she's next. Well,
- 10:20Speaker 2: she's been with her boyfriend, hasn't she, Michael for a
- 10:24Speaker 2: long time? And so do you think there's been a
- 10:28Speaker 2: few rumors? Do you think that the fact they haven't
- 10:32Speaker 2: rushed into a wedding, do you think that means anything?
- 10:37Speaker 2: Or no? They're just they're busy people. She's busy. He
- 10:40Speaker 2: makes his own money. Is that what it is? What
- 10:42Speaker 2: do you think? Yes?
- 10:44Speaker 1: I mean, but some people though wedding in marriage isn't
- 10:49Speaker 1: you know, isn't for them?
- 10:52Speaker 2: Goldie horn not a priority, just like.
- 10:55Speaker 1: It's an add on to the relationship, and so when
- 10:58Speaker 1: it happens, it happens a lot of time anymore, though
- 11:01Speaker 1: a lot of people do just for the legalities of it.
- 11:04Speaker 2: That's right. Brit and I are married for love, but
- 11:06Speaker 2: also to as gay men legally, we wanted to make
- 11:11Speaker 2: sure that we were protected. God forbid something happens to
- 11:15Speaker 2: another person. And so I love Gaga. I love she
- 11:18Speaker 2: has a fella. I love that she went to her
- 11:20Speaker 2: manager's wedding, and I love that she went as a guest,
- 11:23Speaker 2: not as a superstar. She did not try to steal
- 11:25Speaker 2: the spotlight. This was not a tailor swift extravaganswa. This
- 11:30Speaker 2: was a beautiful internet wedding. Hey, I love this story.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Resio Donald is revealing lots and lots of stuff. So
- 11:37Speaker 2: she's back in the US. She has an off Broadway
- 11:39Speaker 2: one woman show, and then I think she's coming out
- 11:41Speaker 2: to La to host Jimmy Kimmel for a week. She's
- 11:44Speaker 2: on the cover of People magazine revealing some shocking, shocking information.
- 11:50Speaker 2: What did she have to say?
- 11:51Speaker 3: She goes on to obviously leg of their own.
- 11:54Speaker 2: Oh, I love that movie. Davil Madonna, yeahd in Baseball,
- 12:02Speaker 2: Tommy Hanks, oh, oh my god.
- 12:06Speaker 3: And Rosie o'donald was in it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: I'm Rosie cit Yes, it's a bit shady that she
- 12:12Speaker 2: was a mob listening.
- 12:15Speaker 3: The fourth best part of that movie.
- 12:21Speaker 2: However, now she's revealing.
- 12:24Speaker 3: That Penny Marshall, who was the director, Yes, she came out.
- 12:30Speaker 1: She said that Penny told her that she needed to
- 12:33Speaker 1: urge her to lose twenty pounds you the role. Obviously
- 12:38Speaker 1: she didn't. And but here's the thing, though, I was like,
- 12:42Speaker 1: I always look at that movie and I go to
- 12:44Speaker 1: me that was part of Rosie's character where she lost
- 12:47Speaker 1: the little because and I look at it now, I
- 12:50Speaker 1: don't think Rosie was over. She didn't look big to
- 12:53Speaker 1: me at all in that film.
- 12:57Speaker 2: That's right. Yes, I think this chart and that TV
- 13:01Speaker 2: show she had. I watched it every day. Oh I
- 13:03Speaker 2: used to love and seeing somebody sitting behind the desk
- 13:07Speaker 2: that looked like us, that looked like the rest of us.
- 13:10Speaker 2: I think that was the secret success. I think Penny
- 13:12Speaker 2: has this all wrong. I have so much respect for
- 13:15Speaker 2: her work. Oh my goodness, that League of It. It's
- 13:17Speaker 2: a beautiful movie. She directed it. It's fantastic. But I
- 13:20Speaker 2: think that movie worked because there were so many different types.
- 13:24Speaker 2: There was different types of personalities, different types of bodies. Everything.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Just a fantastic movie. Rosie. It's lovely to have you back,
- 13:31Speaker 2: it really is. She looks great. She talked about she's
- 13:34Speaker 2: had a lower face lift, she's lost the little weight.
- 13:36Speaker 2: Although she's not a skinny minute she didn't become Sharon Osborne,
- 13:39Speaker 2: and so I think she had that face. I think
- 13:42Speaker 2: I support I honestly, I root for her. I might
- 13:45Speaker 2: go and see her play next week with our friend
- 13:47Speaker 2: Nicki Gustin, okay, quickly before we go to break disaster. Ever,
- 13:50Speaker 2: at the Today Show, so I reported on my sub
- 13:53Speaker 2: stack that they are now America's number two morning show.
- 13:56Speaker 2: GMA has shot into first position. That's big. Then, while
- 14:00Speaker 2: GMA is enjoying this fabulous rain as the number one
- 14:04Speaker 2: show in America, guess who took a day off? Savannah,
- 14:07Speaker 2: Craig and El. That is just sloppy planning. That is
- 14:11Speaker 2: just bad when you have a show that has three stars, Savannah,
- 14:17Speaker 2: Al and Craig. I get it. We goodness knows. With Savannah,
- 14:21Speaker 2: there's been a lot going on and we totally have
- 14:24Speaker 2: respect and nothing but best wishes for Savannah. But the
- 14:28Speaker 2: other two hosts, Al Craig suck it up while Savannah's off.
- 14:33Speaker 2: I can't have a show in the morning that I
- 14:36Speaker 2: turn on and I don't recognize any of the phases
- 14:41Speaker 2: any of them. I think it's not right over there.
- 14:44Speaker 2: They've got to be careful, Donnie, because they are no
- 14:48Speaker 2: longer the number one show. Now is the time when
- 14:51Speaker 2: they should be putting their foot on the gas pedal,
- 14:54Speaker 2: not taking it off. I was thought this was just
- 14:58Speaker 2: the silly, bad planning. I'm just gonna put it down
- 15:02Speaker 2: to that. Obviously. Once again, we have nothing but kind,
- 15:06Speaker 2: really respectful thoughts for Savannah. But Craigan ol all three
- 15:10Speaker 2: of you being off on the same day, that is
- 15:13Speaker 2: just not smart. Okay, We're gonna take a quick break
- 15:15Speaker 2: and we will be right back. Welcome back to the
- 15:20Speaker 2: naughty but Naisha, I'm your hands from Shooter, trying not
- 15:23Speaker 2: to race through the gossip. Dondy. Sometimes you make me
- 15:27Speaker 2: talk too fast because you get me all excitable, all angry,
- 15:32Speaker 2: all positive, all every emotion. Donnie, you press my buttons,
- 15:38Speaker 2: and so today I'm taking it much slower. Hey, let's
- 15:41Speaker 2: get to the pills. Too fast, done too fast? No,
- 15:47Speaker 2: it's perfect, okay. Last year, we talked about Blake Lively
- 15:49Speaker 2: facetiming Ryan Reynolds from the World Cup after the Tailor
- 15:53Speaker 2: Swift wedding snubber? Does it feel desperate? And Blake, I
- 15:59Speaker 2: think I'd go away for six months. Were so sick
- 16:02Speaker 2: of Blake Lively, were so sick even if Taylor Swift,
- 16:05Speaker 2: Taylor's gone away. Taylor could have got tickets to that
- 16:07Speaker 2: football game, she could have, she didn't. Did you have
- 16:10Speaker 2: to be there? Blake? I get your husband Ryan owns
- 16:13Speaker 2: the football team in Britain. I get that, but he
- 16:16Speaker 2: wasn't there, so why are you there and this new
- 16:18Speaker 2: girl squad she's taking pictures of. I don't quite buy it.
- 16:22Speaker 2: I've got a cracking story today on my substack that
- 16:26Speaker 2: Blake's not getting as good at tickets with that Taylor.
- 16:30Speaker 2: When you turn up with Taylor Swift, you get on
- 16:33Speaker 2: the face when you don't bring Taylor a little further back.
- 16:41Speaker 2: She wasn't on camera, she wasn't in the VVVP section.
- 16:46Speaker 2: But my question was do you think it all looks
- 16:48Speaker 2: a bit desperate? Eighty two percent said yes, I think
- 16:52Speaker 2: I agree with you. Don't forget to vote on today's
- 16:54Speaker 2: poul go to a Twitter paget x page. I had
- 16:57Speaker 2: naughty nice rob our Facebook page which is a naughty
- 17:01Speaker 2: gossip and be sure to check that down to hear
- 17:05Speaker 2: your results. And that it's time for Nicest of the day.
- 17:13Speaker 1: All the nicest of the day, Mad Damon.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I love him, Oh love him?
- 17:19Speaker 1: It only if he could, you know, help Ben out
- 17:22Speaker 1: in the old relationship. He's revealing the secret of his
- 17:28Speaker 1: twenty year marriage.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Says that it's the greatest thing.
- 17:32Speaker 2: In his life.
- 17:35Speaker 3: His wife Lucian.
- 17:38Speaker 1: He says, the secret is love, respect and trust and
- 17:42Speaker 1: unwavering trust. Because here's the thing, Oh, we all know
- 17:47Speaker 1: these relationships always gossip Matt Damon, no gossip about his relationship,
- 17:54Speaker 1: no sex scandals in the background, nohing, no cheat.
- 18:00Speaker 2: No no very.
- 18:02Speaker 3: It almost seems boring.
- 18:04Speaker 2: But that's that's okay, that's cool. See if I have
- 18:07Speaker 2: a huge crush on Matt Damon, Bruce thinks he's very dull.
- 18:11Speaker 2: I love Matt Damon. I fear, Donnie, I fear it's true.
- 18:16Speaker 2: But if I had to ask you to pick between
- 18:19Speaker 2: Ben and Matt, you might go with Ben. You like
- 18:22Speaker 2: the excitement, you like the mad boys.
- 18:24Speaker 3: I like him out there smoking at three now, And.
- 18:29Speaker 2: That's why that's why you single and are married. Everybody
- 18:32Speaker 2: finds yourself a Matt Damon. Well, well thy yourself a
- 18:36Speaker 2: if a Matt Damon appeared in your life, Donna, would
- 18:38Speaker 2: you give it a chance? If it was Mad Damon,
- 18:42Speaker 2: You're awful, that's the question. You're a monster. Okay, let's
- 18:46Speaker 2: do naughty to day. Naughty naughty. It's Jelly Roll's daughter
- 18:50Speaker 2: who is teasing that she has a secret about the
- 18:52Speaker 2: divorce that she said is gonna make the Internet crumble.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Her name is Bailey Anne, and she is sparking speculation
- 18:59Speaker 2: on She's eighteen years old. So initially she was really
- 19:02Speaker 2: angry that everybody was talking about this divorce. Now she's
- 19:06Speaker 2: promoting it herself. Really, she's using this divorce to get attention,
- 19:10Speaker 2: to get people to talk about it. It is just
- 19:13Speaker 2: the oddest thing. As our friend Wendy used to say,
- 19:16Speaker 2: say it like you mean it, Say it like you
- 19:19Speaker 2: mean it, and if you don't mean it, don't say it.
- 19:23Speaker 2: I'm naughtyus of the day. Let's end with a moment
- 19:26Speaker 2: of rob Fear or faith. The choice is yours. Fear
- 19:33Speaker 2: and faith have something surprising in common. Both ask you
- 19:37Speaker 2: to believe in something you cannot see. Fear convinces you
- 19:42Speaker 2: that the worst thing is just around the corner. Faith
- 19:46Speaker 2: tries to make you believe that something better is possible. However,
- 19:50Speaker 2: neither one is proof. Neither can promise the future, but
- 19:55Speaker 2: each can shape how you walk towards it. So every
- 20:00Speaker 2: you get to make the choice. You decide what deserves
- 20:04Speaker 2: your attention. If you feed fear, your world's going to
- 20:07Speaker 2: get smaller. If you feed faith, the possibilities begin to
- 20:13Speaker 2: appear now. When I'm talking about faith here, it is
- 20:17Speaker 2: not religious faith. This is faith in yourself. This is
- 20:20Speaker 2: faith in life, this is faith in you. Naughty is
- 20:24Speaker 2: fear or faith? You decide. Hey, that is it for today.
