- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I our Radio. It's time for the Almost Famous podcast. Yes,
- 0:08Speaker 1: it is the off season, but no, no, we aren't
- 0:11Speaker 1: slowing down. We got a lot of good interviews this week.
- 0:14Speaker 1: In fact, Ashley is going to be sitting down with
- 0:18Speaker 1: Gabby from this last season of The Bachelor, and today
- 0:22Speaker 1: we are stacked with headlines. But before headlines, one of
- 0:25Speaker 1: my favorite things about the off season is getting to
- 0:27Speaker 1: catch up with my co host. So, Ashley, you were
- 0:31Speaker 1: currently at your parents' house. Why are you there? What
- 0:37Speaker 1: is going on in life? How are you doing? What
- 0:40Speaker 1: is going on in my life? We are just spending
- 0:43Speaker 1: the week at my parents' house. Wanted to come here
- 0:46Speaker 1: for Easter. My mom always makes Easter really fun for us.
- 0:49Speaker 1: We do like an adult Easter egg hunt, and we
- 0:53Speaker 1: got to do our first Easter egg hunt for Dawson
- 0:55Speaker 1: this year, which is really exciting. He was getting it
- 1:00Speaker 1: at first, but then he really started rolling with it,
- 1:02Speaker 1: which is pretty awesome, really really adorable. Yea, So we're
- 1:06Speaker 1: just spending the week here. We haven't been here since
- 1:09Speaker 1: the end of January, and in kid time and infant
- 1:12Speaker 1: toddler time, that's a long time. My mom has seen
- 1:16Speaker 1: Dawson since, but my dad hasn't seen him since January.
- 1:18Speaker 1: So oh wow, Yeah, that's exciting. What a time. I
- 1:23Speaker 1: hope the holidays was something special. It is. It was.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It is an incredible time to be alive. It's a
- 1:31Speaker 1: lot of fun. I got to see a lot of kids.
- 1:33Speaker 1: I went out to the golf course for a few
- 1:35Speaker 1: hours that day. I got to see a lot of
- 1:36Speaker 1: kids kind of running around the golf course. Jessica and
- 1:39Speaker 1: I had an amazing dinner that evening together. It's weird
- 1:44Speaker 1: celebrating the holidays without family, but it is also very special.
- 1:49Speaker 1: I got to spend it with my wife and just
- 1:51Speaker 1: the two of us, and at all it is nice.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Today Dawson got to meet some real bunnies at the zoo.
- 1:58Speaker 1: We went to like this a small little zoo, okay
- 2:01Speaker 1: by my parents asked, like ten minutes away. They've got
- 2:05Speaker 1: a few monkeys, and they've got your farm animals bunnies.
- 2:08Speaker 1: And then we had to get we we've had a
- 2:11Speaker 1: private meeting with a baby kangaroo. Let's go. Yeah, that's awesome,
- 2:18Speaker 1: that's incredible, that's fun. I mean, these memories for you
- 2:22Speaker 1: have to be special. Right, I mean just this season
- 2:25Speaker 1: of life where Dawson is seeing things for the first time.
- 2:29Speaker 1: There's a curiosity, there's a confusion, maybe like this has
- 2:33Speaker 1: to be a really cool season of life. It is.
- 2:36Speaker 1: When we were in the room with the kangaroo, it's like, funny,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you know, he's fourteen months. He has no idea that
- 2:40Speaker 1: it's a rare thing to be in a room alone
- 2:43Speaker 1: with the kangaroo. He's like, oh, maybe this is just
- 2:45Speaker 1: what we do. Sometimes it's like, how is this any
- 2:48Speaker 1: different than lois? That's good, that's so good. Well, today's
- 2:53Speaker 1: my first day of feeling better. I've been sick since
- 2:56Speaker 1: my Columbia trip, and so I hope my voice sounds
- 3:00Speaker 1: less scratchy, less stuffed. Today I woke up and I said,
- 3:05Speaker 1: I feel good, And so I am working around the
- 3:08Speaker 1: house making sure this place is is ready to go
- 3:11Speaker 1: because it's spring cleaning, spring cleaning, spring cleaning time. It's
- 3:15Speaker 1: a big time in my life. This is one of
- 3:16Speaker 1: my favorite time has really sprung early. I'm a month
- 3:20Speaker 1: away from starting my garden. You know how exciting that
- 3:22Speaker 1: makes me? Is your garden food or is it flowers?
- 3:27Speaker 1: It's it's not the modern like new age, garden of flowers. No,
- 3:31Speaker 1: this is food. This is stuff we will eat, we
- 3:33Speaker 1: will consume. I'm very proud of my peppers and my
- 3:36Speaker 1: tomatoes and my carrots. I take a lot of pride
- 3:41Speaker 1: in them. So what a time to be alive. But
- 3:44Speaker 1: it is also a big time for the Bachelor. There's
- 3:48Speaker 1: a lot of headlines today that we have to break
- 3:51Speaker 1: down Ashley, let's dive into them again. I want to
- 3:54Speaker 1: remind you that Ashley is going to be spending some
- 3:57Speaker 1: time with Gabby this week. That episode's going to be
- 4:00Speaker 1: posted on our thread as well. It's going to be
- 4:02Speaker 1: a really incredible episode. Gabby hasn't done a ton of
- 4:05Speaker 1: interviews yet. I know she sat down with Caitlin. She
- 4:08Speaker 1: wants to sit down with Ashley. I think it's gonna
- 4:10Speaker 1: be an interview that I am very intrigued by, and
- 4:15Speaker 1: so make sure you tune in to listen to that.
- 4:16Speaker 1: But today and DM me your questions for her, if
- 4:19Speaker 1: you have something that she hasn't discussed yet. Okay, that's good, Yeah,
- 4:23Speaker 1: because those all the fans always have questions that maybe
- 4:25Speaker 1: you and I wouldn't think of, Like they they're curious
- 4:28Speaker 1: about of great things. And so if you haven't heard
- 4:32Speaker 1: Gabby speak to something. Yes, please DM Ashley. She will
- 4:35Speaker 1: make sure to get to those. Ashley. We do have
- 4:38Speaker 1: a lot of headlines. Let's dive into it right now.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Bachelor lum Teddy Wright. You remember Teddy. She was a
- 4:44Speaker 1: hit on the beach this year, ended up believing earlier
- 4:48Speaker 1: than expected. I would say, kind of out of nowhere.
- 4:53Speaker 1: Just maybe wasn't feeling it well. Now we maybe have
- 4:56Speaker 1: a little bit of an idea where her life was
- 4:59Speaker 1: headed because she's in gaged to boyfriend Nicholas. The quota
- 5:02Speaker 1: is still feels like a dream. Yeah, it's happened pretty fast.
- 5:08Speaker 1: She got on Instagram on New Year's Evish and she said, like,
- 5:14Speaker 1: this is my first New Year's kiss and she's very excited.
- 5:16Speaker 1: That was kind of like her soft launch with her boyfriend.
- 5:21Speaker 1: And they've been what she says is private but not secret.
- 5:27Speaker 1: They've he's not really a social media guy. He hasn't
- 5:30Speaker 1: been on social media, he doesn't have his own So
- 5:33Speaker 1: she says that she's trying to get him on camera more,
- 5:35Speaker 1: but she wants to protect their relationship, especially in the
- 5:38Speaker 1: beginning of it all. But now we can say that
- 5:40Speaker 1: it is serious enough that they are engaged, and she
- 5:44Speaker 1: says she's been crying for days since it happened. Still
- 5:48Speaker 1: feels like a dream, as you said, She said, So
- 5:51Speaker 1: this is love dot dot dot with the ring in
- 5:54Speaker 1: the heart. That was the opening line of her engagement post.
- 5:57Speaker 1: She says, I am engaged and feels so blessed. I
- 6:00Speaker 1: get to spend forever with my best friend. She also said,
- 6:04Speaker 1: can we just take a moment or can we just
- 6:08Speaker 1: take a moment for how good my fiance Oh my god,
- 6:12Speaker 1: you know, oh my god, fiance did on this ring.
- 6:16Speaker 1: It was it's a Gene Ducette ring. She said, she
- 6:19Speaker 1: feels like the luckiest girl in the world. Now let's
- 6:22Speaker 1: get married. She says it's going to be a short engagement.
- 6:27Speaker 1: This has just kind of been like a it's all
- 6:30Speaker 1: kind of on a shorter time span. But it seems
- 6:33Speaker 1: like she really knows. And then her batch friends Susie Evans,
- 6:38Speaker 1: she quit. She commented, oh my god, chill, so happy
- 6:42Speaker 1: for you. Also said, so deserving of all the love
- 6:46Speaker 1: and happiness, Send you so much love. Michael Alio said, congrats, Teddy,
- 6:51Speaker 1: So happy for you. Happiness, It's good on you. Serene Russell,
- 6:55Speaker 1: she said, so so happy, you find a kind of
- 6:57Speaker 1: love you deserve. I am sobbing. So now we know
- 7:02Speaker 1: really why? Well, you know, we don't know. Perhaps Paradise.
- 7:06Speaker 1: We don't know what's up. We don't we don't know anything.
- 7:09Speaker 1: We know that Paradise wasn't right. It wasn't the place
- 7:11Speaker 1: that Teddy was supposed to find her person. She has
- 7:15Speaker 1: found her person in her boyfriend Nicholas, and it's all happening.
- 7:21Speaker 1: It's super awesome, great for Teddy, super excited for her. Now.
- 7:26Speaker 1: Maybe the biggest headline of the week they in terms
- 7:29Speaker 1: of just fan reaction so far, is Tasia Adams holds
- 7:36Speaker 1: hands with Summer House star Luke Golbranson a mid dating room. Yes,
- 7:45Speaker 1: so I have to preface that by saying I've never
- 7:48Speaker 1: watched Summer House before. I don't know Luke beyond some
- 7:52Speaker 1: Instagram pictures and headlines. But it is a big deal
- 7:56Speaker 1: that the two of them have been rumored to be
- 7:57Speaker 1: seeing each other for a couple of weeks now. One
- 8:00Speaker 1: of all of our favorite gospipl accounts, Dumois, had a
- 8:04Speaker 1: tip that the two of them were seen at a
- 8:06Speaker 1: bar after going to New York Rangers game on March
- 8:09Speaker 1: twenty first, it's kind of what started it all, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: now they have been seeing Easter weekend. So what happened
- 8:18Speaker 1: how it's kind of like launched but maybe not maybe
- 8:22Speaker 1: not intentionally launched, is that one of the Summerhouse stars,
- 8:29Speaker 1: her name is Lindsay Hubbard. Over the weekend she posted
- 8:33Speaker 1: a picture and the caption was Easter at hashtag rad House.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And in the picture, Tasia and Luke are holding hands
- 8:42Speaker 1: off on the side. They're like the ones on the end,
- 8:45Speaker 1: and the whole handhold it's even like a little bit sly.
- 8:48Speaker 1: It's not even like the most handholding. It's kind of
- 8:51Speaker 1: like right there by her pocket. And the caption said, again,
- 8:55Speaker 1: like I said, Easter at at rad House. But then
- 8:57Speaker 1: it says and then we river dance, salsa dance and
- 9:01Speaker 1: dirty danced. But then soon after the comments are filling up,
- 9:08Speaker 1: says just a casual hard launch of Tasia and Luke
- 9:11Speaker 1: with like eyes emojis. Somebody goes, we see the handhold.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Another person goes, Lindsay breaking the internet bright and early
- 9:19Speaker 1: to start the week Another person said, came to Radhouse
- 9:22Speaker 1: staying for the Tatia Luke of it all. Okay, so
- 9:25Speaker 1: everybody's going crazy in the comments section, and then before
- 9:29Speaker 1: you know it, the people the picture's gone and she
- 9:36Speaker 1: reposts the picture, which is shocking. She reposts the picture
- 9:40Speaker 1: with the two of them cropped out of the end,
- 9:44Speaker 1: and then the caption is different, and it's even more like,
- 9:49Speaker 1: oh my gosh, like something just happened. It's even more
- 9:54Speaker 1: blaring that the two of them don't want that out
- 9:56Speaker 1: there because she captions it, well, this is awkward. With
- 10:00Speaker 1: the two of them out of it. They would have
- 10:03Speaker 1: been I could have imagined them being more annoyed at
- 10:06Speaker 1: that than just the two of them kind of looking
- 10:10Speaker 1: like they were holding hands in the original picture. Yeah,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I mean, I think at this point there is probably
- 10:15Speaker 1: a conversation, don't you think. Don't you think Tasia probably said, hey,
- 10:20Speaker 1: but again, they're taking a picture and they're holding hands,
- 10:23Speaker 1: like they have to expect this to get out there.
- 10:25Speaker 1: You know, they would be a little more careful when
- 10:27Speaker 1: it comes to who's taking the picture and how they're
- 10:30Speaker 1: taking the picture. So I don't necessarily understand how anybody
- 10:37Speaker 1: could be upset that this picture was posted because this
- 10:40Speaker 1: was the way that you took the picture. You know,
- 10:43Speaker 1: there was never that they wanted to hard launch themselves.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Oh sure they did. They wouldn't probably do it on
- 10:47Speaker 1: their own social media. They'll still get the chance to
- 10:49Speaker 1: do that. They'll be fine. Yeah, but you know, unless
- 10:53Speaker 1: there was some conversation before this picture is taken where
- 10:59Speaker 1: Tasha or Luke had said, please don't post this picture,
- 11:03Speaker 1: which again would be weird because it's like, Okay, if
- 11:05Speaker 1: you don't want this picture posted, don't take the picture
- 11:07Speaker 1: holding hands, just stand by each other something like. Make
- 11:10Speaker 1: it still a rumor. But they held hands. The picture
- 11:13Speaker 1: is then posted. Ashley, what do you think of this?
- 11:16Speaker 1: I mean, you know, we haven't heard a ton from
- 11:18Speaker 1: Tasha here as of recent you know, we don't know
- 11:22Speaker 1: necessarily her dating life. She still has a social media presence.
- 11:28Speaker 1: But we got to be happy for I mean, you know,
- 11:31Speaker 1: she's now been off the show for how long. This
- 11:33Speaker 1: feels like something that's been going on for a little
- 11:36Speaker 1: bit of time. I'm excited for Tasha. I liked Taisha. Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 1: she and Zach broke up in November twenty twenty one,
- 11:44Speaker 1: so it has been a while, and this is the
- 11:46Speaker 1: first time we've really seen her pictured with somebody that
- 11:51Speaker 1: she might be dating. I think there have been like
- 11:52Speaker 1: little swirls are in there of their guys, but this
- 11:55Speaker 1: is like a little bit more tangible, and I understand
- 12:01Speaker 1: that maybe they wouldn't want to be public if they're
- 12:04Speaker 1: just starting to date, especially if it's gonna be like
- 12:07Speaker 1: a public relationship. You know, you've got two reality stars together.
- 12:11Speaker 1: You want to make sure it's really a thing before
- 12:14Speaker 1: it becomes a thing, you know what I mean amongst
- 12:17Speaker 1: the fandoms. And we know that they couldn't have been
- 12:22Speaker 1: dating too long because he was actually dating another reality star.
- 12:26Speaker 1: Her name is Ashley Derby. She's from The Real Housewives epotomac.
- 12:30Speaker 1: They were only together for three months, but they did
- 12:32Speaker 1: break up in January. Well again, I mean, I have
- 12:38Speaker 1: nothing negative to say about this. I'm very excited for it.
- 12:41Speaker 1: But if you don't want it to get out there,
- 12:43Speaker 1: then don't take a picture with a bunch of people
- 12:45Speaker 1: that have social media's who were only ever posting pictures
- 12:49Speaker 1: holding hands like if you know, if you want to
- 12:52Speaker 1: be more careful, then you should not have done that. Now.
- 12:57Speaker 1: I hope now they're happy. I hope now they can
- 12:59Speaker 1: celebrate the fact that they are public and maybe we'll
- 13:03Speaker 1: get it'll probably pushed him to become public faster than expected.
- 13:07Speaker 1: So there you go. I think we can probably at
- 13:11Speaker 1: this point start to soft launch that this couple is
- 13:14Speaker 1: actually a thing. Well, as I mentioned at the beginning
- 13:28Speaker 1: of the episode, Gabby is going to be coming here
- 13:30Speaker 1: on the Almost Famous podcast and having an in depth
- 13:33Speaker 1: with Ashley. There's a little headline about Gabby that I
- 13:37Speaker 1: really want to save this conversation for your episode, Ashley,
- 13:43Speaker 1: but we will at least hint at it. The headline
- 13:47Speaker 1: is this Bachelor's Gabby is still getting over the finale.
- 13:50Speaker 1: The quote is that I really am excited to hear
- 13:53Speaker 1: you dig into with her is She says, I still
- 13:56Speaker 1: feel violated, which I understand by Zach. Yeah, she just
- 14:01Speaker 1: feels violent, she says, by the way that it all ended.
- 14:06Speaker 1: She goes she knows she doesn't want to like hold
- 14:09Speaker 1: hate toward him or the anger resentment. She wants to
- 14:13Speaker 1: let that go at some point, she says, but this
- 14:16Speaker 1: point she does still feel violated. She thinks it's difficult
- 14:21Speaker 1: because she needs to, you know, juggle her relationship or
- 14:26Speaker 1: friendship with Katie and the feelings that she has. She
- 14:32Speaker 1: says that she thinks she's over Zach, but then she
- 14:36Speaker 1: also admits that maybe I don't know, maybe I'm not
- 14:38Speaker 1: over him. Maybe I'm just saying that. She says she's
- 14:41Speaker 1: not over the violation. So she felt at the end
- 14:43Speaker 1: of the show, and she said there's so many questions
- 14:45Speaker 1: that she wishes like she can get answers to that
- 14:49Speaker 1: normal people might be able to after a breakup through
- 14:52Speaker 1: you know, just like the random tags her phone call
- 14:55Speaker 1: or Instagram DM or something that like pops up after
- 14:58Speaker 1: you break up with someone, but you do it through
- 15:01Speaker 1: the Bachelor. It's not traditional like that. So she just
- 15:05Speaker 1: says that she hopes that she's able to keep her
- 15:08Speaker 1: friendship with Katie healthy while also just dealing with the
- 15:12Speaker 1: fact that she doesn't get classic closure. Yeah, it's it's
- 15:17Speaker 1: gonna be an interesting article or interview, Ashley. You and her,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I feel like there's a lot of still raw emotion,
- 15:23Speaker 1: and she has stayed fairly quiet since the show. And
- 15:26Speaker 1: I understand that this was I think a unique scenario.
- 15:31Speaker 1: I just did an interview with US Weekly yesterday kind
- 15:33Speaker 1: of talking about this. It was a unique scenario for
- 15:36Speaker 1: the Bachelor because I feel like Zach and Katie kind
- 15:39Speaker 1: of moved on right they did the interviews, they went
- 15:41Speaker 1: off into the Sunset happy together. I know Katie and
- 15:44Speaker 1: Gabby are good friends, and Gabby is the one that's
- 15:46Speaker 1: kind of left behind at the end, being like wait,
- 15:48Speaker 1: what just happened? Like, you know, I not only got
- 15:51Speaker 1: broken up with, but now I've probably had to confront
- 15:55Speaker 1: the fact that Zach and I slept together way more,
- 16:00Speaker 1: many more times than I wanted to. And it's a
- 16:03Speaker 1: weird conversation to have not only with friends and family,
- 16:06Speaker 1: but in interviews, like that's what people are talking about.
- 16:08Speaker 1: And I think the most interesting thing here it's not
- 16:11Speaker 1: that they did that, Like that's not shocking, right, I
- 16:14Speaker 1: mean it's a little shocking because Zach said, Hey, we
- 16:16Speaker 1: aren't going to do this, and then he did. It's
- 16:18Speaker 1: how does she feel? Like? How like how is she
- 16:21Speaker 1: doing with this? Because it is something that she wasn't
- 16:24Speaker 1: expecting to become public and it is something that she
- 16:27Speaker 1: wasn't expecting to be the storyline. Yeah, I'll definitely talk
- 16:32Speaker 1: to her, of course about that on Thursday, And I
- 16:35Speaker 1: also want to talk to her about how she said
- 16:41Speaker 1: in this previous interview that she knows what she lived through,
- 16:46Speaker 1: but watching the show back it makes her feel like,
- 16:50Speaker 1: did what I lived through? Was the truth and situation
- 16:52Speaker 1: or was something cut out of it or was something
- 16:55Speaker 1: added to it? Yeah, she says, like it's hard because
- 16:57Speaker 1: you can't distinguish like TV from reality right now. Oooh yeah,
- 17:02Speaker 1: a lot to dig into with Gabby. It's going to
- 17:04Speaker 1: be a great interview. Make sure you tune into it. Everybody.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Next headline is Bachelor Nations. Caitlin Bristow recalls feeling used
- 17:12Speaker 1: towards end of relationship with Sean Booth. Yes, she was
- 17:17Speaker 1: on Jason's podcast. It's a two parter of Trading Secrets,
- 17:21Speaker 1: and she talks about how he was getting Booth Camp
- 17:25Speaker 1: all set up to launch in Nashville in June of
- 17:28Speaker 1: twenty eighteen. They end up breaking up in the fall
- 17:31Speaker 1: of twenty eighteen, but she said it was getting down
- 17:35Speaker 1: to the end where we both just didn't see it
- 17:37Speaker 1: going anywhere. But I felt like he was hanging on
- 17:39Speaker 1: until his gym opened, and that's where I felt used,
- 17:42Speaker 1: said she felt used professionally, that's all we really see.
- 17:46Speaker 1: If you can go back, that's all we really here
- 17:49Speaker 1: directly from Caitlin on this. But if you go back,
- 17:52Speaker 1: you know, you can look at the instagrams and all
- 17:54Speaker 1: that and see Caitlyn promoting Booth Camp and all of that,
- 17:58Speaker 1: and of course she's going to do it, especially like
- 18:00Speaker 1: publicly when she's still in a relationship with somebody. Yeah,
- 18:03Speaker 1: you know, the Sean Booth scenario was we had Sean
- 18:07Speaker 1: Booth on the podcast following that relationship. Remember that. Yep,
- 18:12Speaker 1: it was very emotional. I feel like that relationship was
- 18:17Speaker 1: like really good until it wasn't, don't you think Then
- 18:19Speaker 1: you get that feeling like it was really good and
- 18:21Speaker 1: then it just like all of a sudden kind of
- 18:24Speaker 1: was done. Yeah, well, Sean. You know, have a quote
- 18:28Speaker 1: from Sean talking about his relationship in Hindsight, and he
- 18:31Speaker 1: said that, like they were really good at having fun
- 18:34Speaker 1: together and putting out there to the world that they
- 18:37Speaker 1: were having fun together, but being in love and doing
- 18:39Speaker 1: the whole love thing. We weren't good at doing that
- 18:43Speaker 1: behind closed doors. Okay, that makes sense. They were such
- 18:48Speaker 1: a big person seem good, That's what I mean. Even
- 18:53Speaker 1: I'm able to kind of cut that relationship as to
- 18:56Speaker 1: like what I know from Caitlin and then like what
- 18:58Speaker 1: I saw in the public eye because I almost watched
- 19:03Speaker 1: that relationship like a fan, because I didn't get to
- 19:07Speaker 1: talk to Kaitlin at all getting off our season, then
- 19:10Speaker 1: she just goes right into her Bachelor season, and then
- 19:13Speaker 1: I'm watching your Guys' season unfold, and it felt like
- 19:17Speaker 1: I was a fan of the show again and I
- 19:19Speaker 1: got really invested just as a viewer and just seeing
- 19:24Speaker 1: them on social media, them being one of the most
- 19:27Speaker 1: one of the first I think, like the first big
- 19:31Speaker 1: social media couple from the show, and them always being
- 19:36Speaker 1: so funny and cute and affectionate. It did kind of
- 19:44Speaker 1: they did. As Sean said, this really put a vibe
- 19:46Speaker 1: out there that they had a blast together and it
- 19:49Speaker 1: was kind of like hashtag relationship goals, right what it
- 19:54Speaker 1: seemed to be. Yeah, that's hard to do too though,
- 19:57Speaker 1: you know, I mean, relationships are fun. I would say
- 20:00Speaker 1: have a blast in my relationship, but it's not always
- 20:02Speaker 1: just like doing wild things, and like you know, it's
- 20:06Speaker 1: some if you're putting on a show for the public,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I think at some point that would get exhausting and
- 20:11Speaker 1: it probably is unhealthy. Well, it's it's also interesting that
- 20:16Speaker 1: she sat down with Jason on the podcast and explained
- 20:19Speaker 1: all of this. It shows where their relationship is at.
- 20:21Speaker 1: There's an openness and there's an honesty and there's a
- 20:24Speaker 1: trust there. So Rappy Caitlin and Jason. I think this
- 20:28Speaker 1: came up because it's a business podcast. Sure you know
- 20:31Speaker 1: this didn't just come up because they're talking about past relationships.
- 20:34Speaker 1: She was talking about being involved in his business. Yeah,
- 20:38Speaker 1: that's fair, that makes sense. Well, make sure you go
- 20:40Speaker 1: listen to that to get more info. Another headline is
- 20:44Speaker 1: someone from the twentieth season of The Bachelor, which I
- 20:48Speaker 1: just happened to be a part of. Somebody that's awesome.
- 20:51Speaker 1: Jen Saviano. Well, Jen Saviano gets emotional celebrating son Wilder's
- 20:57Speaker 1: first birthday. The quote is no where. Oh yeah. She
- 21:02Speaker 1: put up an awesome Instagram reel of Wilder's growth over
- 21:07Speaker 1: the year, and it's been fun to watch his growth
- 21:10Speaker 1: as he's only two and a half months younger than Dawson.
- 21:14Speaker 1: So we go back and forth on DM, is he
- 21:17Speaker 1: doing this, does he love this? Blah blah blah, and
- 21:20Speaker 1: the kid is so cute walking before Dawson. Dawson has
- 21:24Speaker 1: no desire to walk. All these Bachelor babies born before
- 21:28Speaker 1: him and after him, they're all walking, and he's just like, yeah,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you know what, I like to crawl. Yeah, but Wilder
- 21:34Speaker 1: is adorable and he looked so good in his Easter outfit.
- 21:37Speaker 1: He had a little button down with the bow tie.
- 21:40Speaker 1: So he's he's living his life. Little Instagram star there.
- 21:45Speaker 1: He is super fun to watch that go on. It's
- 21:48Speaker 1: really cool to see life progress for all these incredible
- 21:52Speaker 1: people and having kids and getting married. It's really awesome. Well,
- 21:57Speaker 1: Bachelor at Rachel offers advice for charity as bachelorette and
- 22:01Speaker 1: share scary flying story. I have one for my season
- 22:05Speaker 1: to The Bachelor that was never showed. But we uh,
- 22:10Speaker 1: let's talk about Rachel's first Okay, we'll talk about Rachel's first.
- 22:13Speaker 1: First off, her advice or charity is simple and not
- 22:17Speaker 1: the best advice. She goes, just do the opposite of
- 22:21Speaker 1: what I did and you'll be golden. Oh come on.
- 22:24Speaker 1: But in all seriousness, and she says, you know, I'm
- 22:27Speaker 1: so excited for charity. She did not do it. What
- 22:32Speaker 1: do you mean, Rachel, You did a great job. There's
- 22:35Speaker 1: nothing you didn't do. The thing you did wrong. I
- 22:37Speaker 1: thought she was a great bachelrette. Yeah. I really enjoyed
- 22:41Speaker 1: that season. I really like her personality, really rooting for
- 22:44Speaker 1: her in real life. I think that she's going to
- 22:46Speaker 1: find someone very easily. And then she also talks you know,
- 22:51Speaker 1: as you said, scary flying story, and we get to
- 22:54Speaker 1: know more in this article about her flying experience because
- 22:57Speaker 1: we all know she's pilot Rachel, but I'm like, oh,
- 23:01Speaker 1: you know, and so many of these occupations on the Bachelor,
- 23:06Speaker 1: they're a little bit exaggerated. But she is a real pilot, guys.
- 23:11Speaker 1: She teaches. She teaches pilot lessons. She said. She spent
- 23:15Speaker 1: hours making and reviewing lesson plans, and each students learns differently.
- 23:22Speaker 1: We all make we allow them to make make mistakes,
- 23:25Speaker 1: which can be difficult for her, as she says, but
- 23:28Speaker 1: I've become a much better pilot from teaching, and it's
- 23:32Speaker 1: just a stepping stone for what she wants to do,
- 23:34Speaker 1: which is work for the airlines. She said. One of
- 23:37Speaker 1: the scariest experiences she had flying was when she was
- 23:44Speaker 1: in the plane by herself for six hours. She was
- 23:48Speaker 1: getting her commercial license, and she thought she had a
- 23:51Speaker 1: I don't know what this is an RPM gage failure,
- 23:55Speaker 1: which at the time, while she was up in the air,
- 23:58Speaker 1: she thought was her engine failing. So she said she
- 24:04Speaker 1: kissed the ground as soon as she landed back home safely.
- 24:08Speaker 1: I yeah, Yeah, that's that's so scary. Well mine was not.
- 24:10Speaker 1: I mean hers was like hers was She's like up
- 24:13Speaker 1: in the air, her engines failing. Yeah, that would freak
- 24:18Speaker 1: me out, right. Mine was just in Las Vegas. We
- 24:21Speaker 1: were up in a helicopter, Joe, Joe and I and
- 24:24Speaker 1: there was a lightning storm and lightning was hitting all
- 24:26Speaker 1: around us, and we had to make an emergency landing,
- 24:29Speaker 1: um because the helicopter was getting like within I mean
- 24:32Speaker 1: it looked like inches from lightning bolts, but I think
- 24:35Speaker 1: it was farther than that. But you could like like
- 24:38Speaker 1: people were freaking out. Everybody was. They were freaking out
- 24:41Speaker 1: in the pilot we had. We had to make an
- 24:44Speaker 1: emergency landing, like we just pretty much like dropped down
- 24:47Speaker 1: because it was so so close and so scary. It
- 24:50Speaker 1: was weird. That is serious. Don't downplay that. It's very serious.
- 24:55Speaker 1: Helicopters are dangerous. I thought she was gonna talk about
- 24:57Speaker 1: Bachelor flying story, but obviously U hers is alone in
- 25:01Speaker 1: a plane and it takes a lot of kahonas to
- 25:06Speaker 1: be peaceful in that moment. I would love for Rache.
- 25:09Speaker 1: It'll find me around Corney robertson Spills Uncensored behind the
- 25:23Speaker 1: scenes Bachelor and Paradise tea interesting. Corney robertson, Yeah, this
- 25:28Speaker 1: is really fun. So she was on a clickbait this
- 25:31Speaker 1: week and she said that she thought about going on
- 25:35Speaker 1: Paradise specifically, I think they wanted her for the first season,
- 25:39Speaker 1: but she said that she was dating someone that she
- 25:41Speaker 1: really liked at a time, and she remembers testing the
- 25:44Speaker 1: waters and asking him what he would think if she
- 25:46Speaker 1: did the show, and if you would have been like, yeah,
- 25:49Speaker 1: go do it, then she would have been like, Okay,
- 25:51Speaker 1: well bye then But at the end of the day,
- 25:54Speaker 1: that wasn't the situation. She did end up dating him
- 25:56Speaker 1: for a while, but she did say that in the
- 26:00Speaker 1: midst of I guess I want to say, almost different
- 26:03Speaker 1: Paradise seasons, Corney did end up meeting her husband and
- 26:08Speaker 1: getting married and all that within the past I want
- 26:10Speaker 1: to say five years, because I was with her in
- 26:13Speaker 1: Vegas when she was still single with at an iHeart event,
- 26:15Speaker 1: so it's probably about five years when she met him.
- 26:17Speaker 1: But anyway, so she didn't end up going on Paradise,
- 26:20Speaker 1: but lots of guys ended up sliding into her dms
- 26:23Speaker 1: throughout the years to see if she was going, notably
- 26:27Speaker 1: Chris Bukowski classic. We love Chris, but this is classic.
- 26:32Speaker 1: So she said that he had come to her book
- 26:34Speaker 1: launch in New York, so yeah, this is season one.
- 26:38Speaker 1: She had already met him and they made out after
- 26:41Speaker 1: that book launch at the party, and he messaged her
- 26:45Speaker 1: saying he was going to Paradise and wanted to know
- 26:48Speaker 1: if she was going to be doing the same. She said,
- 26:50Speaker 1: Brooks Forrester also slid into her DMS. Said that some
- 26:55Speaker 1: of the girls that she knew were also sliding into DMS,
- 27:00Speaker 1: asking her if they were going, because she thinks that
- 27:03Speaker 1: they were trying to stake their claims, trying to be like, hey,
- 27:07Speaker 1: I don't want you going after this guy. The only
- 27:10Speaker 1: guy that she thought, oh maybe I should really go
- 27:13Speaker 1: on the show for was Graham Bunn. She knew he
- 27:16Speaker 1: was doing that first season and she thought he was cute.
- 27:19Speaker 1: They had played in a bachelor charity soccer league together,
- 27:23Speaker 1: so they met a few times, and she remembers wondering
- 27:25Speaker 1: if they would hit it off if they ended up
- 27:27Speaker 1: going down there and spending time together. She said, but
- 27:30Speaker 1: a girl who wanted to date him really badly reached
- 27:33Speaker 1: out to me and said he's mine, yes, and then
- 27:38Speaker 1: she said Claire and I were messaging about it. But
- 27:41Speaker 1: she and Claire get along really great, and she thought
- 27:44Speaker 1: that Claire was possibly interested in Graham too, but that
- 27:46Speaker 1: seemed like something she was gonna have a respect she goes.
- 27:50Speaker 1: But she did wonder if she went down and met him,
- 27:54Speaker 1: what would happen. But then this is super interesting. The
- 27:57Speaker 1: person that was really wondering how things would end up
- 28:00Speaker 1: with her was Brooks, who flew out to California to
- 28:04Speaker 1: meet her because he just wanted to make sure that
- 28:07Speaker 1: he kind of like got the Courtney crush out of
- 28:10Speaker 1: his system, so that he'd always had a crush on her,
- 28:14Speaker 1: and he wanted to see if there was anything there.
- 28:16Speaker 1: So I guess there wasn't anything strong enough there. I
- 28:20Speaker 1: love how Courtney spill see you read her book. She's
- 28:23Speaker 1: talks about celebrity stuff. Adrian Grenier to be the one
- 28:26Speaker 1: that is most memorable for me. Oh Courtney, she is,
- 28:30Speaker 1: She's good at it. She's good an interview. We love
- 28:32Speaker 1: having her arm well. Two more headlines remaining. I just
- 28:36Speaker 1: want to give a quick shout out here to Becca
- 28:37Speaker 1: Tillian Haley. They celebrate their five year anniversary together. That's
- 28:41Speaker 1: a big deal. The anniversary, they looked like they had
- 28:44Speaker 1: the most amazing trip in Rome. Yeah, the cutest content.
- 28:47Speaker 1: And I know that Haley is going on tour now
- 28:49Speaker 1: and Becca would probably be at a lot of those
- 28:51Speaker 1: store dates. And the final headline is this something that
- 28:56Speaker 1: hit very close to home was actually it felt like
- 28:58Speaker 1: a gift to our household. I know where you're going
- 29:05Speaker 1: with this. Yeah, bachel Nations a man to stand and
- 29:07Speaker 1: urges fans to stop asking if she's pregnant. People can't
- 29:10Speaker 1: really be acting this way in twenty twenty three, she said.
- 29:12Speaker 1: And the reason it hits close home is because Jessica
- 29:16Speaker 1: gets very upset, you know. With Jessica has been very
- 29:19Speaker 1: open about previous experiences with eating disorders and has really
- 29:25Speaker 1: like fought hard to get her body healthy and to
- 29:27Speaker 1: get her back up and going again. And when people
- 29:31Speaker 1: do this, and they do it a lot more than
- 29:33Speaker 1: I ever thought they would, it hits people in an
- 29:38Speaker 1: odd way like you how do you respond one? And
- 29:40Speaker 1: then what you know you read into it a lot
- 29:43Speaker 1: and who who says that? And so the reminder when
- 29:47Speaker 1: when this happened last week to Jessica that I gave
- 29:50Speaker 1: her was Hey, people are just sometimes crazy and they
- 29:53Speaker 1: don't mean what they're saying. They don't they're not hinting
- 29:56Speaker 1: at anything about your body or how you look. They
- 30:00Speaker 1: just say it to everybody at all times, no matter
- 30:03Speaker 1: what the situation. It's just what they do and why.
- 30:05Speaker 1: I can't tell you that. But there's no nothing to
- 30:09Speaker 1: be read into here other than it's happening two more
- 30:12Speaker 1: people than you expect. And I actually told her at
- 30:14Speaker 1: the time she's very upset about this. I said, you
- 30:19Speaker 1: should call Ashley or text Ashley and ask her if
- 30:21Speaker 1: she ever gets these comments. And I guarantee you Ashley
- 30:24Speaker 1: would say I sure do, even after Dawson. So yes,
- 30:29Speaker 1: big for Amanda stand to say this. I message Amanda
- 30:31Speaker 1: just said, thank you for doing this. If you're somebody
- 30:34Speaker 1: out there who, like I don't know, has fun commenting
- 30:37Speaker 1: I think you're pregnant, like you're you're a weirdo, stop
- 30:40Speaker 1: doing it like it hurts people. And it's a very
- 30:42Speaker 1: odd thing to say. I don't go up to random
- 30:44Speaker 1: women on the streets and be like, you look pregnant. Well,
- 30:49Speaker 1: you can tell Jess that. I think she could have
- 30:52Speaker 1: the Philadis stomach of all time. But because her skin
- 30:55Speaker 1: is just so glowly. People will be like, Jess, your
- 30:58Speaker 1: skin looks a smash, truly glowy. Are you pregnant? You
- 31:03Speaker 1: have a certain gleam about you. Are you pregnant? Like
- 31:06Speaker 1: you could just be beaming and radiating and looking at
- 31:08Speaker 1: your prettiest self, and then people would be like, you
- 31:10Speaker 1: must see pregnant. I was like, or you could be
- 31:12Speaker 1: like me and be your most heinous self and be pregnant.
- 31:15Speaker 1: So they're gonna come up with anything, and it's not
- 31:18Speaker 1: at all. I don't even think that it would be
- 31:20Speaker 1: referring to bodies sometimes. I think people just get really
- 31:25Speaker 1: excited about babies for some reason. I don't know why.
- 31:28Speaker 1: There's such a fascination around like pregnancy in babies on Instagram. Yeah,
- 31:37Speaker 1: people love to they love it. Like even when I
- 31:41Speaker 1: post about Dawson, it's weird because like people are like,
- 31:44Speaker 1: he's so cute. When is baby number two? I'll get
- 31:47Speaker 1: so many comments when's baby number two? You guys make
- 31:51Speaker 1: beautiful children. When's the next? It's like, why do we
- 31:56Speaker 1: need to always be more and more and more? I mean, yes,
- 31:58Speaker 1: we hope to have more children. We're not bunnies. We
- 32:01Speaker 1: don't just like keep pushing them out every two months.
- 32:05Speaker 1: It was also something I learned at a very young age, Ashley,
- 32:09Speaker 1: Like I would have to say, I was probably like
- 32:10Speaker 1: three or four years old. Whenever I could communicate um
- 32:14Speaker 1: words in a clear sentence. I remember very clearly my
- 32:19Speaker 1: parents going, Hey, it's just not appropriate to ask somebody
- 32:22Speaker 1: if they're pregnant, like, even if you expect it, suspect it,
- 32:26Speaker 1: even if they're like nine months pregnant, and it's very
- 32:29Speaker 1: say it. Yeah, you don't say it. It's just not
- 32:33Speaker 1: a thing. Stop doing it. It's weird. Yeah, you let
- 32:37Speaker 1: the ladies say it. That's what I always sat their moment.
- 32:40Speaker 1: My thought, you bring it up, Yeah, let them have
- 32:42Speaker 1: a moment, Let them tell you when they want to
- 32:44Speaker 1: tell you. Let them make it very obvious to you
- 32:47Speaker 1: that they are pregnant, and then you can celebrate. But
- 32:49Speaker 1: until then, keep it to yourself or just stop thinking it.
- 32:53Speaker 1: I know I'm imagining. Sometimes it comes from a very
- 32:57Speaker 1: kind place, like I'm excited for you, are you pregnant?
- 33:01Speaker 1: But it's it doesn't come off kind. It comes off
- 33:04Speaker 1: a little intrusive, and it comes off a little offensive,
- 33:07Speaker 1: and it's also just inappropriate. So let people tell you
- 33:11Speaker 1: when they're pregnant. Yes, let me say exactly what Amanda said.
- 33:15Speaker 1: She said one thing she didn't expect ever getting married,
- 33:18Speaker 1: which she got married in September, is that people will
- 33:20Speaker 1: immediately start asking if you're pregnant every day or tell
- 33:24Speaker 1: you that you look pregnant. She said that every time
- 33:27Speaker 1: she posts a photo, at least a couple of people
- 33:29Speaker 1: ask if she's expecting baby number three, and after I
- 33:32Speaker 1: said no, I'm not, someone literally told her you should
- 33:36Speaker 1: take a test to make sure. People really can't be
- 33:41Speaker 1: acting this way in twenty twenty three, stop asking if
- 33:43Speaker 1: people are pregnant. I will say. This doesn't like really
- 33:48Speaker 1: change thing. But she did do an ad for natural
- 33:50Speaker 1: cycles the week before, tracking her cycle, and she does
- 33:54Speaker 1: make it clear that she wants to have a child
- 33:55Speaker 1: with her new husband, Michael, which might be flaring people
- 33:59Speaker 1: as excitement for her in having another baby. Just don't ask,
- 34:04Speaker 1: so it doesn't It doesn't give you the room to ask.
- 34:06Speaker 1: It doesn't right exactly, She can share her plans with
- 34:10Speaker 1: you without you asking if it's a thing or not yet. Yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 1: keep it to yourself and then let them tell you anyways.
- 34:17Speaker 1: That's all we have for today Again. Gabby is going
- 34:19Speaker 1: to be coming on the Almost Famous Podcast this week
- 34:21Speaker 1: and talking with Ashley in an in depth episode, So
- 34:24Speaker 1: make sure you send all of your questions to Ashley's
- 34:27Speaker 1: direct messages. She's going to try to get to as
- 34:29Speaker 1: many of those as possible and really dig in with
- 34:31Speaker 1: Gabby about how she's doing, how she's feeling, and what
- 34:34Speaker 1: life is looking like for her now that all of
- 34:37Speaker 1: this is maybe not as settled in her world as
- 34:41Speaker 1: it feels like it's settled in our world. So it's
- 34:43Speaker 1: gonna be a great episode. Very excited to listen to it. Ashley,
- 34:48Speaker 1: and we have an Almost Famous og this week as well.
- 34:52Speaker 1: It's with Ben Flannic, so another Quartney or Bob and
- 34:57Speaker 1: Trisseau will be taken over and interviewing him. That's another
- 35:00Speaker 1: always just like his Yes, just like his former fiance.
- 35:05Speaker 1: Oh my goodness, so much tea this week. Anyways, Hey,
- 35:08Speaker 1: we'll be back next week together talking about everything happening

- 35:20Speaker 1: But until next time, I've been Been, I've been Ashley Sea.
